HAIKYUU MOVIE WAS SO GOOD AND EVERYTHING I WANTED

#personal #BABY KUROO WAS SO CUTE AND ENDEARING #I FORGET HOW MUCH I LOVE ANIMATED HINATA HE'S MY BOUNCY BOY MADE OF SPRINGS #HINATA I LOVE YOU SM...#the pacing was very brisk and kept you hyped but i loved that they interspersed it with their memories #SEEING HINATA AND KENMA'S FIRST MEETING AGAIN... AHHHH...#HINATA'S SCREAM OF JOY WHEN KENMA SAID HE ENJOYED VOLLEYBAL AAAAAAAAAAAUGH #also they had pov shots esp in the end that were SO COOL #the ending is just as jarring as it was when reading. well it felt shorter bc 1.5hrs and i was reading as it came out but like.#the game just Ends. i'd like to think it's intentional bc hinata is like okay next serve... wait #also ALSO i normally don't stay after credits but bc everyone else stayed my group did too and AFTER CREDITS SCENE???#DECLARATION OF WAR AGAINST HOSHIUMI???#I'M SO READY!!!!!!#how are they gonna animate the rest of hq in one movie though. i have no fuckin idea #that game is so fuckin long. you're gonna need to feel exhausted karasuno is fucking wiped #oh well however it's done i can always go back to the manga #haikyuu my fucking beloved i love you so much.

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.

#i have to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night to even barely function #with sleep #getting ready for work #commute #cooking #and errands #I typically have maybe 2-3 hours to actually do what i want in a day #and I'm usually too tired to actually do the things i want to do #and that's with a very short commute #if i actually had a long commute I'd basically do nothing but work #i see my friends like once every few weeks or months #because we're all so fucking busy with work and have such little time for socialising #and none of us even have kids or anything!!

listened to the first episode of the severance podcast with adam scott and ben stiller today and i can't stop thinking about this bit they were discussing from the original pilot script where Ms. Cobel invites Mark into her house, has him watch while she tortures her pet rat, and then reveals that the rat is severed and "flips a switch" so the rat starts cozying up to her and acting like a sweet affectionate pet. like. okay! they were really just gonna put it all on the table like that! you're the rat, mark!!!! you and helly and all your friends are the rats, mark!!!! mark!!!!!!!!!!

i think possibly my favorite anakinism and one i think about a rather unhealthy amount is his body language and how he almost always looks viscerally uncomfortable and vaguely like a child who is scared of getting slapped. even when he’s being confrontational he looks sooo defensive like wow girl you have never fully processed anything that’s happened to you and you will carry the weight of it forever
