I knew we'd not be long apart, Arisen!

In honor of Rook's return in Dragon's Dogma 2, I comm'd the wonderful @verkomy for a piece of my Arisen, Dyraen and Rook as they appear in Dragon's Dogma 1 and 2. :) I was so happy to see Rook again and verkomy did a beautiful job with my blorbos!!

I was planning to buy some hobbit art for my wall in the near future but etsy is such a miserable place to shop these days. Searching gets me nothing but ai slop and travel posters that are a bit suspect (I don’t really like em and im wary of accidentally buying from art reposters) Im probably going to give up the site entirely.

I just want cute fanart prints 😔 I’m sure it’d be a lot easier to find what I want from an artist’s own online store but it’s kind of hard to do that outside of finding a specific piece and hunting around to see if the artist has an open storefront that ships to the US

In the spirit of doing scary things I’ve never done, here is a closeup of this very-much-a-work-in-progress Sebastian piece after hours of hyperfixating on it. 🫣

Personal:

It’s more difficult than I imagined to get back into art as a hobby after literal years of not creating (yay, depression!) Often the motivation just isn’t there and it’s indescribably hard for my ND ass to complete things, but my heart wants so badly to make art and working on this excited me, so I hope sharing it will help me to actually finish it.

To clarify, I’m just doing this for fun (and because it gives me an excuse to stare at his profile for hours) but would like to improve my skills as I’m very out of practice. I welcome constructive feedback if you have it but again, WIP.
