I CHANGE MY MIND ZO IS GOING TO BE PURPLE CODED.
At first, she had a black and turquoise color scheme. Which is fun and was really pleasing to my eyeballs. I felt well since her mother has purple in her color scheme why not? And then since her estranged older sister’s favorite color is purple. I thought what if Zo wore purple to mourn the death of their sisterhood?? You know as a way to honor those childhood memories?? And I couldn’t resist since Alucard is red and Anderson is blue why not purple?!
Okay, you got me my favorite color is purple! I’m a purple person through and through.
Oh yeah, she is rarely seen without her coat. Even in this heat wowzers!
I couldn’t resist, this is her we’re going to a different country for work but we still slay. I know Alucard did it as a disguise but did he have to slay that hard? Plus this is her disguise too!
You got me I’m a thirsty simp! I guess why not talk about Alucard x Zo? (Sorry if it’s ooc for Alucard I’m new to writing him)
As much as I want them to be together if Zo existed in canon they wouldn’t be together.
They would be distant rivals or distant allies?
Only if Madam Gloria gave the order to attack Hellsing and Alucard.
Other than that she genuinely has no feelings towards Hellsing or Alucard.
But let's just say she makes eye contact with him for longer than a few seconds. Their relationship would probably be, the two voicing the melancholy and angst they both go through.
The most intimate they would be is snuggling up together and sleeping together. "I'm just so tired" You don't know how many fics I started with that phrase. It would be years if not more, before the two could reach that point. I’m just weak for character exploration through sleep.
Also, the nature of their relationships with their masters would be talked about. Like Alucard with the Helsing family and Integra. While Zo her mother is Madam Gloria how does this affect their mother-daughter relationship and by extension her relationship with her father?
It's a choice with Zo to serve in her mother's mission. Becuase in truth her mother is not her 'master'. Her real master is her older sister Maris. Maris ran away from the family when she was seventeen so no one had real control over her.
She is more of a listener, Zo does like hearing Alucard discuss philosophy. A topic they often circle back to is what it means to be a monster or human.
He seems to have endless thoughts about life, death, and undeath.
Of course, she had lulled herself to sleep to his voice as he was talking.
This is where her lore starts going all over the place.
So she has tattoos that she has had ever since she was a baby. I had the idea of her having tattoos from when someone (I can’t remember who) mentioned that Alucard has alchemy tattoos all over his body. But turns them invisible.
So similar to that headcanon Zo does make them invisible on her body to avoid being exposed since they are light purple and shining brightly.
The only time they will be visible is if her sister Maris gives a command that unleashes her true power.
When Zo was a baby she was gravely ill. Her parents poured all kinds of magic into her but it couldn’t save her life. And eventually died. So in a last-ditch effort, Madam Gloria and Dr. Soto made a deal with Death. Stating that Death can share a life with their daughter if they bring her back.
To keep her in control her parents made Zo become Maris’ familiar.
So in short Zo is a personification of Death.
For a long time, Zo doesn’t know this. Not even Maris knew until she became a teenager and noticed that Zo would act in a subservient manner. When Maris confronted her parents why she doesn’t remember Zo’s birth very well? Or why her and Zo have a strange connection when they practiced magic? And why does Zo have a special diet with undisclosed meat???
Their parents weren’t the greatest. Maris couldn’t stand their growing obsession with increasing powers. Things grew more complicated and Maris ran away. She wanted to take Zo with her and now that’s her greatest regret.
What are Zo’s powers aside from casting spells, telepathy, and creating/breaking seals? Zo has shadow magic being able to morph her body into shadows, regenerate, and heal herself using shadows.
Her main method of fighting is creating weapons from shadows. Her go-to is a very long double ended spear and a scythe when the enemies are stronger.
I forgot to circle back to the strange meat. It’s brains. She eats brains. Her father cooks the brains into meals for her. Often into dishes, he ate when he grew up in Brazil and tells her stories about his childhood. Isn’t that so sweet?
She’s often seen eating a cup of noodles. But it’s a cup of brains…mixed with the noodles.
She does get the memories from the deceased and on occasion eaten someone’s brain for information. (Yes I lifted that from iZombie, nice show never finished though lol)

Mascot Memories | Never Grow Up
this is the first part of the small 3 part series that i have lined up next
summary: remi is 3 years old and she is a mascot at leah's game for the first time during the world cup in 2027
pairings: leah williamson x reader
“Someone’s excited to be a mascot at Mummy’s game today, aren’t you?” You couldn’t help but beam with a smile as you bent down to your daughters’ level.
“Yes!” Remi’s eyes are dancing with excitement at the prospect of being able to be a mascot in England's opening game of the World Cup that is being hosted in Brazil, “I’ll be the best mascot ever, Mumma!”
You press a kiss to the top of your little girl's head and smile at her, “I’m sure that you will be, baby girl,” You pause as you pick up the small jersey hung up on the hanger, “Do you want to get changed into your football shirt?”
“Wear Mummy’s number?” Remi asks, curiously.
“You bet, Remi Roo!” You nod encouragingly, helping your little girl shed her previous t-shirt in favour of the football jersey with Leah’s number written on the back of it, “You look just like Mummy now.”
“There’s my baby Gooner!” Leah’s voice appears out of nowhere, walking into the changing rooms as she’s almost tackled to the floor by Remi.
“Mummy!” Your 3 year old crashes directly into your wife’s legs.
“Ooft,” Your wife let out a grunt of pain when the whirlwind of a toddler ran into her, “When did you get so big?” She questions, crouching down to your daughter’s level.
“Mumma keeps feeding me all of them veggies that ‘ou don't like,” Remi retorts cheekily, poking fun at Leah’s childish food palette that limited her to only a several few things that she seemed to like to eat – The only veggie she will eat being peas, and even those she thinks are too exoctic to eat.
“Of course she does,” Leah chuckles in amusement as she takes a look Remi donned in her own Jersey with her name on, “Well don’t you look the part.”
“I look just like you do!” Remi grins, dressed in a tiny England jersey to match Leah’s with her hair pulled back into two playful pigtails, and a pair of white Nike trainers, “Even Mumma said that I did!”
“You do indeed,” Leah replies in agreement and holds her hand out for your little girl to take, “It’ll be time to line up soon, do you want to come and stand with me? I bet you we’ll hear the roar of the crowd from there!”
“Yeah!” Remi bounces up and down on the balls of her feet, her excitement palpable as you can indeed hear the noise coming from inside the stadium, a mixture of England travelling fans and the fans of the home team. It’s a feeling that leaves you with a buzz of your own excitement.
“Alright then,” Your wife smiles and turns in your direction, “Say bye to Mumma and Essie and we’ll make our way out there.” She tells her, gesturing to your 8 month old baby girl Esme Beau Williamson, born in September 2026.
“Bye, Bear. Bye, Mumma. Love ‘ous!” Remi rambles quickly with energy bursting through her, leaning over to give her little sister a kiss on the head and crash her little arms around you.
“I love you too, baby girl,” You tell her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head, “Have fun out there with Mummy, okay? We’ll be watching you!” You add, gesturing to the fact that Amanda and Jacob, Leah’s mum and brother were joining you to watch in the stands.
“She’s going to be absolutely fine, love,” Leah reassures you, sensing your initial nerves due to the fact that Remi would be walking out onto the pitch with your wife for the first time and you are worried about how she might take that overall, “I’ve got her. I love you.”
“I love you too,” You respond, pressing a gentle kiss against your wife’s lips, “Good luck out there, superstar. Make us all proud!” You add, moving to fix the captain’s armband around your wife’s arm and kissing it for good luck, a ritual you’ve come to do every game that you attend.
“I aim to just do that,” Your wife grins, a flash of cockiness taking over her face for a second before she peppers small kisses on Esme’s forehead, “Bye, Essie Bear. I hope to make you proud too. I love you.”
The stadium erupts into loud cheers as you watch your wife hold Remi in her arms as they make their way onto the pitch, your daughter is waving enthusiastically out to the crowd of England fans as there’s not a single trace of shyness in her demeanour.
Leah, ever the professional, keeps her focus with her stern game face plastered but even she can’t help the smile that tugs at her lips every time she gazes at her daughter. For the first time you’ve ever witnessed, your wife actually breaks her stern expression as the spotlight is on your daughter.
“Remi looks so grown up,” Amanda speaks aloud from where she’s standing in the stands amongst you, Jacob and Esme, cradled against your chest, as she watches in adoration of Leah and Remi on the pitch.
“Don’t say that too loud or Leah will freak out,” Jacob jokes, regarding Leah’s fear of Remi growing up too quickly. It’s now become a somewhat ongoing joke in your family now.
“Speaking off, look how proud Le looks,” You say, watching your wife and daughter with tears welling up in your eyes.
“This is definitely a moment to treasure forever,” Amanda chimes in, wiping one of her own tears away.
“I swear she might even relent from her usual stern frown,” Jacob jokes watching as Leah stood tall and proud in her captain’s armband, her face glowing with both excitement and pride, “Rem looks adorable though!”
“I mean, there’s always a first,” You remark in amusement as you watch your wife and daughter on the pitch, feeling insanely proud of them both.
The sun shines brightly over the sprawling stadium in Brazil, where the energy of the World Cup is palpable. Fans gather in vibrant colours and flags fill the stands, creating a sea of excitement and anticipation just as the national anthem plays and you can’t help but smile looking out onto the pitch while you look at your daughter who is beaming with an infectious smile.
“I think I might cry,” You murmur, overwhelmed with pride watching them as the National Anthem begins to play.
“You and me both, darling,” Amanda replies in agreement, her eyes are misty.
“Can you see your Mummy and your big sister, Es?” Jacob holds Esme in his arms like the proud uncle he is and points his index finger in the direction of where Leah and Remi are standing on the pitch amongst the rest of the England team, “Look, there they are!”
“Mummy! There’s so many people!” Remi’s voice is quiet and in awe, her eyes gazing around the stadium at the several thousands of fans in the stadium, “Are all these people here for ‘ou?”
Leah chuckles fondly as she keeps a gentle grip on your toddler, “Only half of them, baby Gooner,” She pauses as she points with her index finger in the direction of where you all sat in the stands, “Over there is Mumma, Essie, Nana and Uncle Jacob over there? Give them a wave!”
“Will they be able to see me from this far away?” Remi asks, curiously as she waves brightly in the direction and you can’t help but smile in adoration of the pair together, “It's so far away!”
“I bet they will,” Leah nods in agreement, spinning slightly to look over in the direction of the giant screen and then towards a camera, “Do you see that big screen over there? There’s a camera on the pitch and Mumma will be able to see you, even from all the way over here.”
“Wow,” Remi’s eyes widen in amazement as she eagerly waves in the direct eyeline of the camera and her mouth forms the perfect O as she sees herself on the screen for the first time, “Mummy! I’m on the screen with ‘ou!”
“You are,” Your wife couldn’t help but laugh faintly as the end of the National Anthem played, which meant that it was time for the coin toss and captain duties, “Do you want to come do something extra special with me?” She asks.
“Uh huh!” Remi’s eye’s gleam with excitement at the prospect of doing something extra special according to your wife as she continues to carry Remi over to where Leah stands together with her teammates, with Remi perched on her hip to take a photo.
“Remember to smile, Rem,” Beth, one of Leah’s fellow team mates for club and country, reminds your little girl as she ruffles her hair playfully, “Don’t be frowny like your Mummy now.” She jokes, poking fun at your wife’s impartial need to always scowl during a team photo.
“I don’t frown all the time,” Leah retorts, scowling at the blonde.
“Yes you do, Mummy!” Remi’s little voice replies in agreement as she giggles, “You don’t scowl at me or Bear though!” With those words in mind, Leah can’t help but crack a laugh and the official photographer manages to capture the moment, history is changed that your wife actually broke her stern expression during a team photo.
“Mumma!” Remi shouts running across to you as fast as her little legs will let her, “Did ‘ou see me out there? I waved at ‘ou!”
“I did see you, baby girl!” You scoop her up into your arms, twirling her around as she giggles with delight, “You were amazing! The best little mascot I have ever seen!”
Your eldest daughter continues to bounce up and down in excitement, “I was on the big screen with Mummy!”
“We saw that, Tiny,” Jacob grins, ruffling your daughters’ hair, “You looked like a champ out there!”
“We’re so proud of you sweetheart,” Amanda chimes in, pressing a kiss to the top of Remi’s forehead.
“And I even got to take a photo with Mummy, Auntie Beth and everyone else!” Remi continues to ramble, a tone of excitement in her voice still as she slumps back to sit on Amanda’s lap to watch the match play out.
“Mummy’s gonna win!” Your little girl declares, confidently.
“That’s the hope, baby girl,” You agree with her, brushing a loose strand of hair out of her face, “We’re going to cheer her on though, no matter what. Mummy is a winner to us, no matter what. Right, Remi Roo?”
“Right, Mumma! I will be the best cheerleader ever!” Remi exclaims, nodding enthusiastically in agreement, “Mummy’s the best footballer I know!”
This game might have just been one of many in Leah’s career, but this day certainly was special and one to cherish, being able to watch your wife and daughter walk out onto the pitch together.
A memory that you will always remember, shining bright in your heart.

how to stay with you (steddie ficlet)
written for @steddieangstyaugust day 29: future, and also inspired by this post i saw ages ago
1474 words | rated t | cw: angst without a happy ending (ik angst with a happy ending won the poll by a landslide but unfortunately i ran out of time sorry y'all)
When Steve and Eddie first got together, they had been young and in love and that’s all that had mattered. At 19 and 20 the realities of the future seemed so far away, so caught up in each other in each present moment that it almost felt like they would never grow up, like time would never pass and they would never have anything to worry about. Conversations of ‘what ifs’ and potential issues were brushed aside, anything that wasn’t an immediate problem dismissed with a kiss and a carefree “we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.” There was no need for premature concern when surely nothing would ever be so big as to come between them. Because they were it for each other, weren’t they? They were forever, and forever seemed so easy when forever was young.
But the time did pass and they did grow up, and now the bridges they thought they’d never come to are looming before them, fast approaching.
At 25 and 26, they sit at the dinner table in the one-bedroom apartment they’ve lived in for years and Eddie tells Steve about the life-changing phone call he just received. The Hollywood music producer he’s been in sporadic contact with finally wants to finalize a plan and work with Eddie’s band officially, and Eddie is so excited he’s practically vibrating as he rambles to Steve about the album he’ll make and the tours he might go on and how they’re gonna have to start looking for places in LA soon because they have to be local and the producer wants to get started on this by the end of next month. He expects Steve to be excited too, to match his grin and maybe hold hands and bounce around the kitchen with him, but his boyfriend’s expression only falls further and further into a frown with every word Eddie speaks.
“Eddie-” Steve interrupts him, his voice far too serious. “I don’t want to move to LA.”
Eddie’s buzzing energy freezes, stopping short. “What?”
Steve repeats, “I don’t want to move to LA.”
“But-” Eddie frowns. “I was always going to move to LA, that was always my plan. You knew that.”
“Yeah, I-I know. But we always said we’d just cross that bridge when we came to it.”
“Well, we’re coming to it now. So, why don’t you want to move?”
“I don’t want to uproot our life here. And I don’t want to end up having to wait around in a strange city while you’re off on tours all the time.”
“You wouldn’t, you’d come with me.”
Steve shakes his head. “I can’t live like that. And what about when we have kids? That’s no way to-”
“Wait, Steve-” It’s Eddie’s turn to interrupt, all trace of his previous excitement gone, having dropped like a stone into his gut instead. “I don’t want kids. Like, ever.”
Something fractures in Steve’s eyes as he stares at him, almost hurt. “What? Why did you never say anything? You knew- I’ve always wanted kids, Eddie, you’ve always known that.”
“Yeah, I know, I just-” Eddie’s mouth feels too dry and his tongue too heavy as he wets his lips and shrugs guiltily. “I mean, we always said we’d just cr-”
“-cross that bridge when we came to it, yeah,” Steve sighs, a dejected sort of exhale that slouches in his shoulder as if the full weight of this conversation has suddenly settled upon them.
Eddie feels it too, feels them sinking somewhere they can’t come back from. “Is that, uh- is that a dealbreaker for you?”
“Kind of, yeah,” Steve admits, and he looks at Eddie like it devastates him to do so, emotion swimming in his eyes and straining his voice. “Is me not wanting to move to LA a dealbreaker for you?”
Eddie swallows thickly. “Kind of, yeah.”
“Would you ever change your mind?” Steve asks, a last ditch hope. “About kids, or any of it?”
“No,” Eddie says; though he hates to watch the last of the light drain from Steve’s face, he can’t lie to him. “Would you?”
“No,” Steve answers in a barely managed whisper.
Eddie takes a deep breath, and it shakes. His vision blurs. He says, “Then this isn’t going to work, is it?”
Steve stares at him with glassy eyes, like he’s watching Eddie become a ghost right in front of him. His voice breaks as he speaks, “You mean we’re not going to work.”
“Yeah…” Eddie confirms, and it shatters his heart. “I’m so sorry, Stevie.” He reaches for Steve’s hands across the table. “I love you more than anything, I really do, but I won’t give up on my dream, and I can’t ask you to give up on yours either.”
“No you’re right.” Steve breath shudders. His eyes fall to their joined hands and he blinks rapidly, the way he does when he’s trying hard not to cry. He squeezes Eddie’s hands tight, desperate for something to hold on to even as he agrees, “We want different things, incompatible things. I don’t want to hold you back.”
“Exactly…I don’t want to hold you back,” Eddie echoes in barely more than a whisper, afraid if he tries to speak any louder he’ll break into tears.
Steve does break then, a sob escaping from his throat as if it’d clawed its way free, tears spilling from his eyes. Such a cry activates an instinct in Eddie that sends him leaping to his feet and pulling Steve into a hug within seconds.
“I’m so sorry,” he says again. His chest aches and he really wishes this wasn’t happening, hates that he knows that it has to.
“Me too,” Steve manages, head buried in Eddie’s shoulder. There’s no bitterness in it, only heavy acceptance. He knows it too.
They both know there’s no solving this, no compromise they could find that wouldn’t inevitably fester into resentment and regret. Because Steve wants to settle down and Eddie wants to fly - but Eddie isn’t built for the ground, nor is Steve for the sky, and there’s no common place left between them where they could both survive. It’s over.
So they mourn together while they still have each other to take comfort in, clinging tight to what they’re losing, just one last time. Eddie's crying now too, his tears streaming silently down his cheeks in counterbalance to Steve’s sniffly mumbling.
“I don't want to lose you,” Steve mutters. “Are you sure? Are you sure?”
And Eddie cries quietly into the crook of his neck that he doesn't want to lose him either, and he's sorry, so sorry.
When the worst of their sobs subside, they reach the bargaining stage of their grief, and they pull apart just enough to talk properly while still holding onto each other. Eddie swears he'll keep in touch, says he still wants to be a part of Steve's life. Steve makes him promise to send him postcards of all the amazing places he'll go to on tours and to invite him to shows whenever he's nearby. Eddie tells him to invite him to the wedding when - when, he emphasizes as Steve starts to shake his head - Steve falls in love again and finds someone who can give him the life he wants.
At that, Steve sniffles out a laugh, wet and humorless. “That would be cruel,” he says.
“I never said I’d actually show up,” Eddie clarifies, giving an equally complicated smile and bringing a hand up to cup his cheek. “I just want to know. I want to know that you're happy, even if it can't be with me.”
Steve closes his eyes - another tear or two leaks out - and turns his face into Eddie's hand. In a whisper, he agrees, “Okay.”
They decide it would be best for Eddie to leave as soon as possible. Since they've already concluded they won't last, there's no reason for them to stay in the same apartment even just one more night. It would only hurt more in the end.
With a sort of dissociated detachment, Eddie packs up his things, separating his life from Steve’s one piece of clothing and decorations at a time. It's all he can do not to start crying again.
As Eddie turns to leave for the last time, Steve grabs his arm, impulsive, desperate, and begs him for one more kiss. So Eddie turns around and indulges him. He tastes the salt of their tears on their lips, clutching at Steve's waist and tangling a hand in his hair as they both kiss each other like they know they never will again. Eddie savors every bitter taste, memorizes every sweet feeling.
And then they’re out of time and Eddie's out the door, his whole future ahead of him and his heart cracked right in half.

I’ve been having some bad days, could you write something where Y/N is having a rough week and pretends she’s fine except Wanda knows her daughter and comforts her?
I just love the way you write Wanda as a mother and that she just always knows
overwhelmed
pairings: mom!wanda maximoff × fem!reader
warnings: angst, reader crying, depressed reader — i think that's all!
a/n: tysm for your request love and im so sorry for your bad days, i really hope things get better for you and if you need someone to talk you can dm me, okay? <33
Interacting with any other human being was the last thing you wanted to do today. Saying that you had a bad week was an understatement, all the bad things that could happen to you happened. And not just things around you, but also your mind didn't stop for a second. You felt so overwhelmed that anyone could see on your face how much that week was hurting you.
"This can't be happening right now." You mumble as you feel the raindrops start to fall on your head. There was still more than half the way until you arrived at the Compound, you didn't have an umbrella, much less a coat to protect yourself from the cold that would come. No one could come and get you since everyone was busy and you didn't want to disturb your mother, she had enough problems to deal with yours.
You were coming home from school after another stressful day. You've spent the last few weeks studying for an incredibly difficult test, especially in a subject you had difficulty with, and seeing that big red note made your urge to cry even more. You studied so much that you thought it was impossible for that to happen. So many nights without having slept and so many energy drinks wasted for nothing.
You were absolutely soaked when you stepped into the Compound. Your sneakers made a funny noise when you stepped on them, but the only thing you wanted to do now was take them off your feet and throw them at the person closest to you, shouting in their face. "You're going to clean this up, Little Maximoff." Tony's annoying voice says, obviously joking, but still your head hurt just hearing that you had to do something that day. Your jaw tightens and you close your eyes tightly, taking a deep breath.
"I know, Tony." You ramble, trying to keep your voice as calm as possible. You walk past him to head towards your room, feeling your eyes burn from having something else on your list of things that made your week worse than it already was.
On normal days the first thing you would do was go look for your mother in her office, but the last thing you wanted to do that day was worry her, because you knew that the moment she laid eyes on you she would know that something was wrong. And filling her with your problems would make you feel guilty for a long time, you hated making people feel sorry for you and looking like you were a baby. You just needed to calm down, didn't you?
"Fuck!" You scream when you see all your notebooks soaked, especially your sketchbook, which you spent hours and hours drawing. You drop your things on the floor and run your hands through your hair, taking a deep breath. You wished your mother was there now, she would know what to do and help you with whatever you needed to calm down, but you put that idea out of your head before you ran towards her arms.
You enter the bathroom connected to your room and take off your clothes before you catch a cold. The hot water from the shower makes your muscles finally relax after the terrible days you prayed would end. In a few seconds you no longer knew what water was or what the tears on your face were. All those things that happened in your week came together into one, and you started to feel like you were on that empty, dark hole that took you a long time to get out of. You thought that maybe the problem was you, that maybe you deserved all those bad things, from the smallest to the ones that made you cry and scream like that moment.
You didn't hear the knock on your door because your bad thoughts were so loud that it was almost impossible to even hear the shower water hitting the floor. But when Wanda entered her room after hearing no response, she felt like something was wrong at the moment. She looks at your completely wet things lying on the floor and frowns. You told your mom you didn't need a ride home from school, but apparently, you did.
"Honey, is everything okay?" When she heard the shower turning off after long minutes, she knocked on the bathroom door just to let you know she was there and see if everything was okay. "Yeah, I'll be out in a minute." You say in a low voice, taking a deep breath. You knew that the moment you left the bathroom, your mother would know that your bad thoughts came back again, but you also knew that she wouldn't pressure you to say anything.
You close the bathroom door quietly, finally looking into Wanda's green eyes and seeing the worry through them. She held your backpack in her hands with her face confused at you, because she wouldn't think twice to get in the car and drive to you. "I was almost here at the Compound and the rain caught me." You chuckled, trying to hide your red eyes, your cheeks and the tip of your nose with the same color as your mother's hair.
"Are you okay, love?" She asks again, her face relaxed now. You put a fake smile on your face, but still with enormous affection for your mother.
"Yeah, just a little upset that my sketchbook got ruined, but it's okay." You don't completely lie. Yes, you were upset that your drawings would now have to go in the trash, but no, nothing was okay.
"I'm sorry, sweetheart." Wanda says approaching you. You just throw it away, muttering 'it's okay' but she wraps her arms around you, giving you a relaxing hug. Your mother leaves a long kiss on your head, making the urge to cry increase even more. You loved all the affectionate actions that your mother gave you, it made you feel so vulnerable and light. "Come on, let's get you something to eat, shall we?" You didn't like eating when you were feeling bad like that, you felt like you were going to throw up when you put anything in your stomach because of the anxiety, but you just agreed.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn't even notice when you arrived in the kitchen which, unfortunately, was made up of a few people. You felt so overwhelmed that being in the same environment as some people made you feel even worse. The small group of Avengers on your left irritated you. The loud noises they made. The conversations. The sound of people swallowing food. The tapping of Steve's shoe on the floor. Everything irritated you. From the small scratches on the counter to the farthest lamp that blinked every one minute and two seconds. Wanda noticed that. She noticed that you were itching to keep from freaking out. That you closed your eyes tightly trying to ignore your surroundings. That she needed to do something to help. She wanted to come to you and ask what intrigued you so much. What made you take deep breaths and crack your fingers every second was curious.
"Thank you, momma." She almost didn't hear you because of your low and hoarse voice. Wanda leaves a kiss on your head as she watches your foot bouncing up and down, eating the sandwich she made.
Wanda debated in her head what she could do to make you feel better. She knew she couldn't pressure you into saying anything, but she was so worried that she would do anything to see you well again. And even if it got to the point where she had to read your mind, she couldn't. You somehow managed to block your mother from reading your thoughts and seeing what was wrong.
You place your plate in the sink, taking a deep breath. Finally you would get away from people and that feeling of anxiety would finally leave you, that's what you thought. You thought that just a few hours of lying in bed doing nothing would solve your problems, but deep down, you knew that wasn't what would happen. And, now walking towards your room, not even your plan of closing yourself under the covers would be complete, as your mother followed you with the comfortable atmosphere that she always exuded.
You lie in your bed watching your mother calmly wait for your permission to lie down next to you. You nod to her with a smile on your face. Wanda puts her arms around your body, running her hand on your back, making your body relax. You loved these moments between the two of you, you realized how important you are to her and how loved you are. "You know you can always talk to me, don't you?" She murmurs, making you lean into her even more. Your face was in the crook of her neck, hiding how your lip trembled trying to hold back your crying. "I love you so much, sweetheart."
You finally let out a sob when Wanda murmurs those words that came out of her mouth so sweetly. Her grip around you tightens as she feels tears fall onto the skin of her neck, leaving a kiss on your head. The caress on your back never stopped, reassuring you that you were safe in your mother's arms. "It's okay, baby. Everything's going to be okay." You hated crying out loud, but at that moment you couldn't control all those feelings that made your heart ache spilling across your face, and Wanda was there to remind you that it was okay to cry and feel that way. "I-I'm sorry."
"Honey... we never apologize because of our emotions, right? Never." Wanda pulls you to place you on her lap, making you lay your head on her chest. You start playing with the hem of your mother's shirt, sniffling as you try to think of words you could say to her. "Do you want to talk about it, детка?"
"It was just... a bad week." You murmur, snuggling even closer to Wanda, feeling her heartbeat in your ear, which made you calm down a little more. "I just- I'm just feeling so overwhelmed and... and I don't know what to do."
"Oh, baby... it's okay. We'll get through this, yeah? It's okay to feel this way and I'll help you with whatever you need, my love." She strokes your hair, making your body relax in her lap. You agree, feeling her comfortable words enter your ears and help you with the horrible thoughts. "You're so strong, honey. Remember you're not alone, okay?" You mumble something, agreeing with her. You never knew how Wanda could make you feel better with just a few words, maybe it was her magic? You never knew. But she would always be your best friend and the person who would always make you feel better again. "Thank you, momma."
You would never be able to explain how grateful you were to have your mother by your side, because there are so many people in the world who don't have that comfort, and just thinking about not having someone to help you through your episodes made you feel sick. Even if she didn't say it, you knew Wanda was afraid you'd go back to that time when the hole was deeper than it is now. You remember exactly how she cried with you when you vented to her about everything you were feeling, and how she helped you every step of the way again.
"You don't need to thank me, детка. I love you so much, okay? I will always be by your side, on whatever you need." And you knew she was telling the truth, because Wanda loves you so much. You will always be her little miracle and the most important thing in her life. She feels so proud of you, because she knows that you can get through this, that you are strong enough to get through all the challenges in your life. She believes in your ability to overcome these difficult times - because you can - and there will always be people to support and walk alongside you, because you'll never be alone.

Synopsis: All you wanted was to have a quiet day browsing books in the library. Who knew you'd manage to find the cutest man to spend your day with right there in the history aisle?
Word count: 3541 (omg.)
Walking through the library, you gently ran your finger over the spines of the book, feeling worn out paper and leather on your fingertips. It was always relaxing, being surrounded by so many stories, real or not, lives and adventures. You skimmed through a history section, looking for a book that might be of interest, and your eyes landed on one just up ahead, with a pretty spine and a title written in gold. Your fingers jumped to it, but bumped with another hand outstretched to grab it. “Oh sorry, love! Didn’t see you there,” “Oh no it’s alright!” You grinned up to the cute man with the cute British accent. “You can have the book, I don’t mind,” “Oh no,” He shook his head. “Really, you can take it,” “No it’s fine, really, I can just order another from the system,” He grabbed the book off the shelf, handing it to you. “Love, please. I’ve already read it anyway. It’s all yours,” He smiled, a bright breathtaking smile that lit up his whole face. You hesitated but took the book from his hand, adding it to the (very heavy) bag you carried. “Memorised and all?” He chuckled. “I wish,” You grinned at him, and an awkward silence fell as you scanned the rest of the shelf. “Uh,” You cleared your throat. “Anyway. Thank you, a lot, for-” “The book,” He finished. “Yes! The book. Thank you,” He nodded, his Adam’s apple bobbing. “Alright well uh…I’ll, go, thank you, again,” You rushed to say before quickly dashing off, trying not to think about how pretty he was, or how soft his eyes looked, or his beautiful curls, his soft yet clear features…
No.
You weren’t sure what the hell urged you to turn right back around and down the aisle again, but your feet carried you there anyway, and you found yourself standing right in front of the gorgeous stranger again. “Um. Hi.” You mumbled. Maybe he didn’t hear, maybe you could run be- “Hi! You’re back,” He grinned and you could feel the sunshine radiating off of him. “Yeah. Um..I don’t know I just…yknow…You seem to know your books,” You gestured to the growing pile by his feet. “So I was just..wondering if you had any recommendations? I’m in a bit of a slump, so I wanted to try something new. I mean only if you’re cool with it, if I’m bothering you I’ll just go-” He laughed, a quiet small chuckle that put a huge ass sappy smile on your face. It was contagious, his bubbly energy and cute laughs and smiles. “No it’s alright love, I’d be more than happy to give you a few suggestions, though it might just turn out to be a big ramble,” You shrugged. “Nothing beats a good book ramble,” “Wholeheartedly agree. Now,” He turned to the shelves, his soft eyes scanning the spines of the dozens of books, and he just started rambling- exactly like he said he would. On and on and on, grabbing a few books at a time and talking about them all at once, he looked over the moon to share all this knowledge with someone, you didn’t have the heart to tell him that you could barely keep up with him. You just stood there watching him, probably grinning like an idiot, adding every book he put down to the growing pile in your bag. Whether the book was actually interesting or not, you didn’t care. When a cute man excitedly tells you about his favourite books in an aisle in the library, you grab every damn one of those books and you take them home.
By the time he finished going through at least a dozen books, he paused, biting his lower lip to hide a shy smile. “Sorry. Got carried away there,”
Ah shit.
“No no! It’s okay, no apology needed at all. You- it’s cute. You’re cute. When…you do the ramble thing. Cute. Yeah.” You cleared your throat, feeling your cheeks heat up. There was a beat of silence, before he blurted out, “Steven.” “Sorry?” “Steven…my name. Is Steven. Grant. Steven Grant. It kind of just hit me that I didn’t introduce myself,” “Oh. Oh! Oh right. Oh my god.” You fumbled with your bag, trying to get yourself back in control. “This is embarrassing. I’m so sorry. I’m Y/N. It’s very nice to meet you Steven,” He laughed again. “It’s very nice to meet you too,” You nodded. How many times are you going to nod. Quit it. “So…um,” you cleared your throat, wondering if it was too late to ask for a hole to open up and swallow you whole. “Yknow..there’s um…this cafe, right down the street, and it’s really nice and they’ve got pretty decent coffee and food. I was wondering if…you know, if you’re free anyway, and not too busy or if you have something better to do I totally get it-” “I’d very much like to go to the cafe down the street with you,” Steven interrupted, and you stared at him, jaw hanging open slightly as you took in his shy smile and the light rose of his cheeks. “I mean, if that’s what you’re asking-” He rambled quickly to add. “Yes! Ah, uh, yes, that is what I’m asking,” You grinned widely, cheeks starting to hurt from how damn much you were smiling at this cute stranger in the history aisle of your local library. “Great! Wonderful, amazing. I- uh…I’ll…go check out my books? Get settled while you do yours and…” “...we can meet by the front doors?” You finished for him. He nodded quickly, his hair bouncing with each bob of his head. You nodded too, fiddling with the strap of your bag. “Okay. Okay cool. I’ll…go do my thing. And I’ll see you soon?” “Yes, absolutely, 100% yeah,” You chuckled, a few butterflies taking flight through your stomach with all his nervous blabbering.
He’s cute. Real cute, with the nicest warm eyes and a precious crooked smile, and the cutest mop of curls on his head that you desperately wanted to play with. Not to mention his adorable outfit..the cute earth brown pants and the soft sweater that definitely hugged his body in a comfy yet pleasing way.
Screwed. Absolutely, royally screwed.
After awkwardly staring (analysing) him for a solid minute as he grabbed the rest of his books, you turned and dashed to the check out desks, fumbling and mumbling about stupid cute library boys the entire way through the checkout process.
* * *
As you both left the library, a light silence falling between you, he couldn’t help but take a few glances at you, his heart picking up pace, a giddy laugh building up in his throat- this was new. All of it was so new yet welcomed. He’d be damned if he let it go to waste, whether it be a chance to make a friend, or maybe a little more.
By the time you had reached the shop, his shoulder ached from carrying his bag of books, and you looked ready to drop dead on your feet.
“I can carry your bag if it’s getting you tired,” Steven suggested softly as you entered the cafe. You frowned, hugging your bag tightly to you. “What, no. It’s okay, I like carrying my bag. Makes me feel close to my books,” You pointed to a table by the window. “Here?” He laughed, then nodded. “Yeah this works,” He took a seat, lifting his bag off of him and placing down beside him. “What do you like to read anyway?” “Oooh,” You slid into the seat, you could feel the ache in your lower back start to build. Who even had back problems at this age. “I like a good fantasy novel, and I am guilty of reading way too much romance. I also like poetry. Not a very big person in non fiction though.” “Romance huh?” He raised an eyebrow, a playful smile on his lips. “Scandalous romance?” You laughed, shrugging. “What, a woman has her needs, and those needs happen to be pretty men with cute accents,” “Ah right,” He nodded again, then paused. “Wait. I have an accent,” You chuckled, smiling widely. “Yes you do. A cute one too. And you’re cute. Pretty, dare I say,” His eyes widened, a blush creeping up his neck and his ears started turning red too as he looked away, averting his eyes and biting at his lower lip. Your heart did a little flip at how cute he looked when he was flustered. “What kinda books do you like, Mr. Grant?” “Hmm,” He flipped aimlessly through the menu, his eyes scanning the millions of different ways they make frappuccinos and espressos. He didn’t even drink coffee that much, he was more of a tea guy. “I like history, big fan of mythologies and stuff,” You sat up, grinning widely. “I love mythology. I was a huge sucker for them in middle school. Still kinda am, honestly,” His heart did a little thing. “Really? What kind of mythology?” You shrugged. “I was really into the Greeks, they were pretty fun and it was a good time. I like the Romans a bit too, but they’re a little boring, yknow? The Norse are wack too, which makes it funny,” You grinned. “I was just a bit obsessed. I had an Egypt phase too for quite a bit,” You could see the way his face lit up, how his eyes widened and a big smile started spreading across his face. “Egypt huh? That’s cool.” He nodded, deciding not to make a further comment lest it come off as too strong. You raised an eyebrow. “Cool? Oh come on, you totally had an Egypt phase,” “Did not!” “You so did. C’mon, tell me. I promise I won’t judge! I never could, I had attachments to those guys. You definitely know a thing or two,” He waved you off. “No..I mean, a little maybe. I’ve studied their mythologies and tales, aspects of culture and society, that’s sorta stuff, it’s not interesting really,” “Not interesting?” You scoffed. “Well I find them interesting. C’monnnn,” You nudged his leg under the table. “Who’s your favourite god?” He shook his head, a playful smile on his face. “I’m fond of Taweret. Hippo goddess, resides in the underworld and stuff. She’s nice,” “Yeah? Know her personally?” “Oh yeah, obviously. We have chat over tea all the time,” No way he was this funny. “Really? Wait, hang on,” You leaned in, “if she resides in the underworld, does that mean you’ve died before, Steven Grant?”
He liked it, he decided. The way you said his name, how it rolled off your tongue and out of your mouth so easily, and not the sarcastic way everyone else said it. Heaven, at least you remembered his name, not when half the staff at the old museum couldn’t even get Steven right. He scrunched up his face, thinking deeply. “Hmm. Let’s see. I think I might have, yeah. A few times now actually,” There it was again, the laugh that filled the entire cafe, as your shoulders shook and you threw your head back in joy. “No way, you did not,” You finally said. “I absolutely did! It’s not a good experience obviously, but yknow, an adventure,” “So you’ve like- met Osiris and stuff?” He shrugged. “Maybe,” “Oh come on. Tell me! I’ve always liked him. Given, I always like every death god, so it’s no different,” “He’s alright. Very stiff though, no personality at all, he’s all business serious,” “Well duh, he’s a king,” Steven rolled his eyes. “Doesn’t mean he’s got to be so boring,” You chuckled again, shaking your head in disbelief as you went back to the menu. “Any other gods you’ve met?” “Hmm.” He tapped his chin a few times, and brushed a curl of hair out of his eye. “I’ve met some night gods. They look like big ugly birds, with a big temper and zero compassion or kindness. Dress in old rags and stuff,” “You’re lying, I swear you’re lying,” “I am not! It’s true. I see one quite often actually, he’s a pain in the ass, right psycho.” “Yeah? He your best friend?” He snorted. “Absolutely not.” You tsked. “Aw, that’s so sad,” “No it’s not. I told you, he’s not right in his mind,” “Yeah but isn’t that all gods?” Steven sighed, leaning back in his chair. “Okay, you make an excellent point, but I’m telling you, this one is bloody psycho. Murderous and whatnot.” He smiled, a big goofy smile that showed his cute dimples. You shook your head again, trying to fight back a stupid sappy grin. “You’re too funny,” “Too funny? Is that bad?” He frowned. “No! No, absolutely not. It’s nice, your jokes are actual..well, yknow, jokes. And it’s kind of nerdy.” “Oi!” He leaned in, pointing a finger at you with an air of amusement. “You just said nerdy was cute,” “It is!! It’s very cute!” “Bloody right. ‘Cause if you came for sports jokes, I’m not your guy,” You laughed. “Nope, no sports jokes for me. I just like an extra side of nerdiness,” He narrowed his eyes, fighting back a smile. “You are horrible,” “Horribly cute, yeah, definitely,” He exploded with laughter, his face all happy smile lines and precious dimples. You smiled widely, your heart doing a little skip with how gorgeous he looks, so full of laughter.
Thankfully though, before he caught you grinning like an idiot at him and trying to memorise his face, a waiter came to your table, and you managed to order your drinks without acting crazy or too dorky.
* * *
“What about Bastet? You know her?”
Okay so maybe you were still a little dorky.
“The cat lady? I mean you see her everywhere don’t you? In all the nice cat ladies by your flat or in the market!” “Okay fine Mr. Poetic, I’m asking about the goddess,”
He grinned, fiddling with the strap of his bag as you both made your way to a bus stop. “I haven’t met her, no. But I know of her,”
“Right, of course,” You weren’t sure why you humoured this idea; the possibility of divinity walking amongst man. But the ease of pretending, of imagining with him, with Steven, was something you came to realise you enjoyed too much to give up. “What about Zeus?” He frowned. “Wrong civilization,” “Oh come on, so you’re telling me you can believe the idea of gods with bird heads from the times of pyramids, but you can’t humour me with the idea of wackoo’s living on top of a mountain?” “I just don’t like them. Too chaotic,” “That’s exactly why everyone likes them,” “Okay fine, I just stay in my territory,” You shook your head, shrugging your bag back into place on your shoulder. “Okay, that’s fair, they probably don’t like each other anyway,” “Nope, definitely don’t,”
You both fell into a silence after, continuing your walk to the bus stop. “You don’t have to go all the way with me to the bus stop yknow-” You started but he just shook his head. “I don’t mind, love. Really, it’s a nice day out for a walk,” You nodded. “Okay.”
Silence fell again, and you couldn’t help but look up a little to look at him. Him with his pretty eyes and flushed cheeks. Him with his easy going smile on those nice lips. Him with the nice jawline and cheekbones that are just the right amount of sharp you just want to run your finger over it.
By the time the both of you had made it to the bus station, you had made up your mind; You were going to ask him for his number.
Only problem is…how do you ask a cute guy for his number?
You could feel the nerves start to set in as the minutes tick by, and more people pile around the bus stop. It was going to be here soon, and you’ll hop on, and probably never get his number and-
Okay calm down. You fiddled with your bag as the minutes passed, occasional small glances and nervous chuckles with Steven as he waited too, and it felt like the weight of the world was on your shoulders just to ask for a series of stupid numerals. When you glanced back up at Steven for what had to be the millionth time so far, you noticed in the far distance that the bus was heading this way. Steven turns the other way then too, noticing you staring and he sighed softly. “Ah, there’s your bus,” “Yup,” He looked back at you, a soft smile on his lips. He picked at his nails, a feeling of anxiety bubbling inside of him. “So…” “So…” You continued for him, and you both laughed awkwardly. “Can I-” “Can-” You stopped, chuckling awkwardly as Steven shook his head. “Sorry love- didn’t mean to speak over you-” “No no it’s okay! My bad,” You reassured him. “Go ahead,” “No really-” He rubbed the back of his neck, smiling. “You start,” “Steven-” You started to protest (why were you even doing that) but he set you with a firm look and you sighed. “Okay. I was…yknow…going to ask. If-” You trailed off. “Yknow…” “If…? Unfortunately love, I’m very bad at guessing games. You’ll have to specify,” You sighed, rubbing a hand down my face. You took a deep breath and right as the bus stopped at your station, you blurted quickly, “Can I have your number?!” It came out in one breath, a quick sentence and Steven’s browns furrowed. You panicked, thinking maybe you had read this wrong? What if he doesn’t want to give you his number?
But then his face exploded in a wide smile, and his eyes lit up adorably and his cheeks filled with a soft blush. “Oh. My number!” He laughed, soft and clearly full of anxiety. “Yes- right yes, of course you can. Sorry it took a minute there-” He muttered, quickly digging through his bag and pulling out his phone. “Right then, quick quick before you miss your bus-”
“It’s okay,” You mumbled quickly, steering him away from the growing bus line so you could plug in his number. You did it painfully slowly, double checking each number and going over the series at least 5 times. By the time you finished exaggerating and actually putting the number into your contacts, Steven was tapping his foot anxiously on the ground as he watched the last person board the bus. “You have to hurry it’s going to close, love,” You looked up and glanced at the bus. “Oh crap-” You quickly fumbled to put your phone away and return his, but by the time you took a step towards the bus, it dinged and the door closed as it slowly started back up to drive away. "Shit,” Steven tugged at his curls. “Oh god love, I’m really sorry- maybe if we run we could catch its next stop?” Didn’t people always say make the best out of a bad situation? The bus is gone, another won’t be coming for probably another half hour, and you were not running.
But maybe…maybe this was a good thing?
You shrugged, trying to sound as upset as you could possibly gather, but even to your own ears it sounded fake. “Oh no….the bus is gone. This is horrible. What do I do now?” Steven started to say something, but then stopped, frowning a little, before his eyes widened and a smile grew across his face. “Hang on-” He stepped closer to you, his eyes glittered with humour. “You planned that, didn't you?” You gasped. “What? Me? Why would I ever want to miss my bus?” “Hmm….” He tapped a finger to his chin, thinking loudly. He leaned down then his face barely inches away from your face. “Maybe because you wanted to spend more time with me?” He has no right being cute and nervous one second and then sexy and all mischief the next. Your eyes widened, you felt your skin heat and your cheeks flush pink with how close he was. His eyes looked even prettier up close, and his lips looked so kissable. “Really?” You managed to breathe out. “You think I’m that captivated by you?” He shrugged. “Maybe.” He paused, biting his lower lip.
Fuck.
“Are you? Captivated by me?” He asked. “Hmm. Let’s see…I think your nerdiness and awkward attitude and shy personality has definitely captivated me, Mr. Grant,” His face explodes into a bright and beautiful smile. “Really? So if I asked to go on a walk right now, you’d say yes?” I hum, pretending to think it over. “I thinkyes, I would absolutely say yes,” The look on his face made it seem as if he just experienced heaven. Your heart fluttered, and you knew then that you’d never ever get tired of seeing him this happy. “Brilliant. Great, alright then um..” He stood up straight again, looking around. “Let’s go?”
You smiled, gesturing to the roads bustling with people. “Lead the way,”

also i have another thing, imagine that gojo has a daughter and shes grouped w the first years and she runs away after a fight with her dad (just to get some air) and then there is a special grade curse there and she tries fighting it but she loses and then she runs and either calls ijichi and pretends like nothings wrong and asks if he could send nanami to her location or she knows that nanami lives close to where she is and she shows up at his doorstep all bloodied up from the fight, luckily she didn't lose any limbs because she doesn't know how to use reverse curse technique yet, but she's close with nanami and he's like her sensible uncle (she is exactly like gojo, just a big ball of adhd chaos) shes too stubborn to ask for her dad. idk if this is like a full fic thing, one-shot, headcannon stuff, but if you manage to understand my ramblings interpret it how you want or don't. no pressure at all to write this! don't worry i totally get the new to writing too! rn i'm trying to write a request for headcannons and its kicking my butt. love you <3 sorry if this is a lot
I’m sooooo sorry this took so long I had much going on and forgot about this request :(
Nanami x Fem!Gojo!daughter!reade
Warning: fight scenes, arguing (not really that bad) curses
The sun was setting over Jujutsu High, casting an orange glow across the training grounds where Gojo Satoru and his daughter, Y/n, stood facing each other. Gojo, with his signature blindfold and relaxed demeanor, looked far too calm for the situation. Y/n, on the other hand, was a bundle of energy, her H/c hair bouncing as she shifted from foot to foot, exuding an impatience that mirrored her father’s chaotic nature.
“Dad, you’re being ridiculous! I can handle myself!” Y/n exclaimed, her voice sharp and filled with frustration.
Gojo crossed his arms, his expression turning serious. “It’s not about whether you can handle yourself, Y/n. It’s about understanding the risks involved. Special grade curses are no joke.”
Y/n rolled her eyes, the familiar rush of defiance bubbling within her. “I’m not a little kid anymore! I can fight! Just like you!”
“You’re strong, but strength isn’t everything. You need experience, and running off to fight curses alone isn’t the way to gain it,” Gojo replied, his tone firm yet concerned.
“Maybe I just need some air!” Y/n shouted, suddenly turning away from him, frustration spilling over. Without waiting for a response, she sprinted away from the training yard, the sound of her footsteps echoing behind her.
As she ran through the forest bordering the school, Y/n felt a mix of anger and disappointment. Why couldn’t her dad see how capable she was? She needed to prove herself, to show him that she was strong enough to stand on her own two feet. But more than that, she just wanted some space to breathe, away from the weight of expectations.
The trees whizzed past her as she continued deeper into the woods, her heart racing. It wasn’t long before she stumbled upon a clearing, and her breath caught in her throat. In the center of that clearing stood a special grade curse—a grotesque, towering figure with twisted limbs and a mouth that seemed to stretch impossibly wide, dripping with malevolence.
Panic surged through her, but it was quickly replaced by the familiar thrill of adrenaline. “Okay, Y/n, you can do this,” she whispered to herself, her determination igniting. She hadn’t come this far to back down now.
Channeling her cursed energy, Y/n launched herself at the curse, her heart pounding in her chest. “Get ready to meet your match!” she shouted, a wild grin spreading across her face. She unleashed a flurry of attacks, each one fueled by her chaotic energy and a desire to prove herself.
But the curse was swift and brutal. It retaliated with a force that knocked the wind out of her. Y/n grunted as she stumbled back, but she refused to give up. “Come on! You think that’s all I’ve got?” she yelled, charging in again.
But the more she fought, the more she realized she was outmatched. The curse’s strikes were too powerful, too calculated. It was only a matter of time before Y/n found herself on the ground, panting and bloodied.
With a final desperate attempt, she turned to run, her heart racing as she fled the clearing. The curse let out a terrifying roar behind her, but she didn’t look back. She needed to get away, needed help.
Reaching for her phone, she dialed Ijichi’s number, trying to mask the fear in her voice. “Ijichi, it’s Y/n. Can you send Nanami to my location?” she said, feigning nonchalance.
“Y/n? Are you okay?” Ijichi’s voice was tinged with concern.
“Yeah, just…needed some air. It’s nothing serious. Just send him, please,” she insisted, her heart pounding as she hung up.
The minutes felt like hours as she waited, her body trembling from both fear and adrenaline. She was too stubborn to reach out to her dad; she didn’t want to admit defeat. She could handle this on her own.
Finally, she decided to head toward Nanami’s place, knowing it was close by. As she made her way through the streets, the reality of her injuries began to sink in. Blood dripped from her forehead, and her clothes were torn, but she pushed through, determined to reach him.
When she finally arrived at Nanami’s doorstep, she hesitated. She could feel the pain radiating through her body, but her pride kept her standing. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, the sound echoing in the quiet evening air.
The door opened, and there stood Nanami, his expression shifting from surprise to alarm as he took in her state. “Y/n!” he exclaimed, stepping aside to let her in. “What happened?”
“Just a little…training accident,” she said, trying to keep her voice steady as she entered his home.
Nanami frowned, guiding her to the couch. “This looks more than just a training accident. Sit down; I’ll get the first aid kit.”
As he disappeared into the other room, Y/n took a moment to collect herself. She was safe now, but the shame of her actions weighed heavily on her. When Nanami returned, he knelt beside her, his expression serious.
“You need to stop pretending everything is fine when it’s not,” he said, gently cleaning her wounds. “You can’t fight every battle alone, Y/n.”
“I know,” she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “I just wanted to prove to my dad that I could handle it. I didn’t want to be seen as weak.”
Nanami paused, looking at her with a mix of empathy and concern. “Your father wants you to be strong, but that doesn’t mean you have to face everything by yourself. Strength comes from knowing when to ask for help.”
Y/n nodded, tears brimming in her eyes. “I just… I wanted him to see me as capable. I didn’t want to be just his daughter.”
“You are capable, Y/n. But you’re also human. It’s okay to lean on others,” Nanami replied softly, finishing up with her wounds. “And you’re not just Gojo Satoru’s daughter; you’re Y/n, and that’s enough.”
Feeling a mix of gratitude and frustration, Y/n looked at Nanami. “I’m sorry for bothering you. I didn’t want to come to my dad.”
“You don’t have to apologize for needing help,” he said, his tone firm yet kind. “Now, let’s get you cleaned up, and then we can figure out how to handle that curse together.”
After a brief moment of silence, Y/n chuckled softly, the tension easing. “You really are like my sensible uncle, you know that?”
Nanami raised an eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. “I suppose that makes you the chaotic niece.”
“Guilty as charged,” she replied, a grin breaking through her earlier distress.
With Nanami’s help, Y/n cleaned herself up and bandaged her wounds. She felt a sense of relief wash over her as they talked, sharing stories and laughter. It was a welcome distraction from the chaos of her earlier confrontation.
As night fell, Y/n knew she needed to confront her father. The thought of facing Gojo filled her with anxiety, but she couldn’t avoid it forever. With Nanami’s support, she felt a little more ready.
“Thanks for everything, Nanami,” she said, standing up. “I think I need to go talk to my dad now.”
“Good luck. Just remember, it’s okay to be vulnerable with him,” Nanami advised, giving her a reassuring nod.
Taking a deep breath, Y/n left Nanami’s house and made her way back to Jujutsu High. The night air was cool against her skin, contrasting her earlier warmth. As she approached the school, she spotted Gojo standing outside, his figure illuminated by the soft glow of the lights.
“Dad,” she called out, her voice steady despite the knots in her stomach.
Gojo turned, his expression shifting from worry to relief. “Y/n! I was worried about you. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” she replied, her heart racing. “I just… I wanted to talk.”
As they stood there under the stars, Y/n felt the weight of everything she wanted to say. “I’m sorry for running away earlier. I just wanted to prove I could handle myself, but I realized that I don’t have to do everything alone.”
Gojo’s expression softened as he stepped closer, concern lacing his features. “You don’t have to prove anything to me, Y/n. I want you to be strong, but I also want you to be safe. It’s okay to ask for help.”
“I know that now,” she admitted, her voice trembling slightly. “I just didn’t want to be seen as weak. I didn’t want to disappoint you.”
“You could never disappoint me,” Gojo said, his voice warm and reassuring. “You’re my daughter, and I’ll always be proud of you, no matter what.”
Feeling a wave of emotion, Y/n stepped forward, wrapping her arms around him in a tight embrace. “I’m sorry for being stubborn.”
“I’m sorry for not seeing how much you wanted to prove yourself,” Gojo replied, hugging her back. “But we can grow together, okay? You’re not alone in this.”
As they stood there, the warmth of their bond enveloping them, Y/n realized that she didn’t have to fight every battle alone. With Gojo by her side, and with the support of Nanami and her friends, she could face whatever challenges lay ahead.
“Together,” she whispered, pulling back to look at her father.
“Together,” he echoed, a proud smile breaking across his face.
And as the stars twinkled above them, Y/n felt a renewed sense of purpose. She was Gojo Satoru’s daughter, but she was also Y/n—a force of her own, ready to embrace the chaos of life, one battle at a time.

Work burned me out, middle management positions are draining. What was supposed to be an angsty oneshot is now… yeah I’m continuing it. Not a full series, just a two-parter… hopefully.
Edit: I DON’T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THIS CLUSTERFUCK OF AN EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER IS, but BUCKLE IN BECAUSE IT PROBABLY DOESN’T PASS SAFETY REGULATIONS! HOOOOO BOY
Part 1
*—*—*—*—*
“…” she stared at the being in front of her, face frighteningly blank. Next to her, Bruce fidgeted.
“I’m not going anywhere, so you either gotta learn to love me real quick or get lost quicker,” the child snarked from where he was sitting upside-down on the bat computer chair. “And don’t call me Richard, my name’s Dick.”
“I don’t remember you working with a fetus, Batman,” Marinette slowly drawled, emphasizing the vigilante’s name despite none of the three of them being suited up. Dick shot up with a cry of indignation.
“I am not a fetus! I’m fifteen! I’ve been Robin since I was twelve!”
“Nope,” Marinette countered, unmoved. “I started out as Ladybug when I was twelve, and I was never as small as you,” she blatantly lied. Dick was already taller than her, which wasn’t much of an achievement considering that she was five-foot-one-inch tall. “You are six years old, tops.”
Dick let out an almost inhuman screech of complaint. Even as he rambled on angrily about how wrong she was, Marinette only nodded as if he proved her right about something.
“That was a good squawk though. Definitely a birdie.”
It took another twenty minutes before Dick ran off to tell on Marinette to Alfred, giving her and Bruce some alone time. With which she used to whirl to him and immediately hiss in equal parts fury and worry;
“Please tell me he wasn’t—“
“The timeline is gone,” Bruce reminded her, bracing her by putting both his hands on her shoulders. “He doesn’t remember.”
“Still!”
He let out such a heavy sigh that he seemed to deflate with it, his dark circles growing more pronounced.
“He wasn’t supposed to be,” he admitted softly. “When he turned sixteen, last time, I allowed him to form his own team of teen heroes. Supervised from afar by myself of course, not that they knew that. I had given them the order to stay back and guard their city, but they disobeyed me and snuck onto the battlefield anyway.”
Marinette rubbed at her temples, nodding. “Teenagers have a habit of doing that. This time around, can we ask Bunnyx to supervise them? She has all the energy of a teenager, so she’ll fit in, but the maturity of someone trusted to guard all the timelines.”
Bruce paused, thinking of what little he knew of the pastel rabbit themed hero, and then reluctantly nodded. “That… might be for the best. And giving them more opportunities to train with…” he hummed, hand on his chin. “I might actually change things up, in that case. Instead of jumping to put teens on their own in a tower, the old Justice League headquarters is more protected. And if we started with the ‘sidekicks’,” he gave very purposeful air quotes, “of other Leaguers, it would create a better support system than letting teenagers run around with… really, not enough regulation.”
“Gotta love hindsight,” Marinette agreed with a nod. “The whole teenagers by themselves thing only worked for my team because we were overly traumatized and each saw different apocalypses before we turned sixteen. Bunnyx could fix them herself back then, but still.”
“Best to do better by the new generation,” Bruce agreed with her unspoken statement. “I can still put that old team together again when they’re older, support their development elsewhere in the meantime.”
“Oh, and now that we’re done on that topic,” Marinette snapped her fingers before pointing to the staircase that Dick had disappeared up. “He’s going to make my life a living hell, isn’t he?”
Bruce groaned, offering her a lopsided grimace of apology. “He’s a menace,” he agreed. “He’s scared away any woman I’ve brought to the house, even though most of them are completely platonic. I have to make the press believe the whole playboy thing somehow, and inviting my friends over to chat is the easiest way to do so without breaking hearts for real. Dick hasn’t caught on yet,” Bruce rubbed his forehead. “His antics to scare away Selina Kyle are legendary already, and she’s sapphic. She couldn’t be attracted to me if I was the last man on earth.”
“Could have fooled me,” Marinette teased, suddenly impish. “She’s catwoman, isn’t she?”
Bruce narrowed his eyes, saying only: “Chat Noir. Year one.”
It was Marinette’s turn to grimace. “Point taken. But in my defense, he took way too long to realize he’s gay and watched too much anime at the time.”
Bruce let out one of his unfairly charming chuckles, changing position so that his arm was around her shoulders and pulling her to his side. She fit there surprisingly well, for someone almost half his size. She leaned into him, and the both just soaked in the comfort of one another for a long moment.
“You know,” Bruce started for a while. “If you want to stay in Gotham, we can make you another alter ego so that you don’t accidentally lure Shadow Moth here. Tell that fox of yours to make it seem like you’re in Paris and take some of the weight off of your shoulders for a change. Blackmail Constantine into charming some jars to keep the butterflies in until you can purify them.”
“Hmmm.” She closed her eyes. “Ladybird sounds nice. Fits with the bird thing that Robin has going for him.”
Bruce laughed. “That’ll really annoy him,” he warned, amused. Marinette’s close-eyed smile was pure mischief.
“That’s the whole point. I’m not letting a fetus win against me, bat-boy.”
—*—*—*—*—*
Marinette wasn’t speaking to Bunnyx. Bruce didn’t know what they had said to one another, but he could guess it had to do with Jason.
With his baby, who he just buried. The boy Marinette had thought of a son ever since he first brought him home. She had even smoothed things over between Dick and Jason, which he had considered nothing short of a miracle at the time.
But that miracle was nowhere to be seen now, with Marinette every bit as despondent next to him as he was. He wanted to be angry with her, he did, but he couldn’t. He had seen her blow up at Bunnyx, seen her try to hold her status as Grand Guardian over the bunny holder.
Bunnyx had simply said that she wouldn’t answer to Ladybug until after the grief passed then, and ran away into her burrow.
“Is this the payment?” He heard her whisper, her voice hoarse and broken. “For the do-over? We passed the old timeline. We took down Shadow Moth. Is this the price?” Tears dripped down her face silently, she didn’t seem to notice them. “Was I not a good enough mother? Should I—“ she stopped herself, shaking her head. He didn’t ask what she was about to say. Maybe he should have.
—*—*—*—*—*
Tim was great. He was too much like Marinette at times, which made Bruce’s chest ache, but he was a great Robin. A great son. His experience with Marinette proved priceless when it came to helping curb Tim’s overworking habits and caffeine addiction.
But not even Tim could find where Marinette had disappeared to, even with his detective skills surpassing Bruce’s already.
Tim was the first son of his that didn’t get to grow up with Marinette at all.
—*—*—*—*—*
“It’s fine, Baobei,” she whispered, stepping to the side. Behind her was the waterfall that hid the tunnel to the Batcave. “He’s not the one to blame. He did his best, even now he’s doing his best.”
“Then why does—“
“Because other people need him, and he has too big of a heart to turn them away,” her mouth tilted a little, smile lopsided and sad. “Timothy didn’t replace you. He just forced Bruce to live again. Bruce didn’t kill Joker, because he didn’t want to taint another child with the sight of murder.”
“And you?” The voice was dark, deadly, gruff. Older, and yet… so achingly familiar. She smiled at him again, soft and sad and… proud.
“I don’t have one,” she lied. She had tried, tried so hard. Bruce had gotten in her way first, and then the very same desire to not taint more children with the image of death.
But her baby needed a scapegoat, and she was willing to throw herself on the fire for him.
“That’s why it’s fine,” she repeated. “If this is what you want. Just, please. Let it end with me.”
This time, Marinette made sure she had the Time miraculous safely in her pocket. Nobody would interfere with this.
The bullet sent her into the flow of the waterfall, red flowing behind her like the carpet she used to walk down with Bruce whenever she released a new collection. She felt no regret as she closed her eyes and fell.
—*—*—*—*—*
The shot hadn’t been fatal. Red Hood might have been mad with Pit Rage, but his fondness for his only true mother figure was ever present. He simply wanted to see if she was serious about taking that shot.
His regret was immediate when she didn’t even try to dodge. The bullet had only grazed her shoulder, but she didn’t seem to notice that. She had been so ready to die— to let him kill her— that she had passed out before hitting the water. He dragged her to the Batcave, knowing he had a lot to answer for.
Bruce wished he could have found her sooner, found both of them sooner. But at least they were back.
—*—*—*—*—*
“… I mean,” she rocked on her heels. “You are growing a bit old for Robin…”
Tim glared at her, not appreciating the insight.
“Bruce is stuck in the timestream, and you aren’t doing a thing about it. I don’t hold your opinion very highly right now,” he snipped back. She snorted, glancing away.
As if that little stunt to “kill Batman” could ever fool her. She’d been there for the real thing, thanks, she could spot a fake a mile away. “He’s got Bunnyx going to find him. She owes me big time, let her do the heavy lifting for a change.”
“How many years have you held that grudge?” Barbara asked, eyebrows raised as she wheeled herself towards the bat computer. “Even Jason thinks you should have let it go by now.”
Marinette scoffed at the exact same time as a certain someone tutted next to her, making them look for a moment like a perfect pair.
Crossed arms, a scoff, annoyed glare? If a DNA test hadn’t already proven otherwise, they might have thought Damian was hers.
“Fetuses don’t get to judge me,” was her only argument before she turned on her heel and walked away.
“I am not a fetus! Lady Marinette, I am ten years old!”
—*—*—*—*—*
Bonus:
Jason was curled up around Marinette, despite being told numerous times not to crowd her on the med-bay bed. He argued that he shot her, so he gets to nurse her back to health.
Did she use her blood, tainted by years of use of the Ladybug, to purify his pit madness? Yes. Had he figured that out yet? Nope.
“Love you, Mom,” he murmured in his sleep. Marinette, who had been awake for about an hour already, smiled to herself.
“Love you, Baobei.”

Redneck Doug on ALL the other Clones in Star Wars!
As promised, for reaching a new number of followers, here's Doug's list when I asked him to name off all the clones in 'The Clone Wars' and 'The Bad Batch'!
Some are obviously repeats of other posts, and some are brand spanking new.
I'm using my autoethnography skills to their fullest extent, here, people.
This is LONG but hey! 7 seasons of The Clone Wars and 3 seasons of The Bad Batch means animated Star Wars in the Days of our Lives of animation.
If I'm missing someone, let me know! I'll reach out to Doug!
Enjoy, everyone!
CW: Redneck Doug just rambles needlessly about people.
And Clermont Lounge is one of the scariest and yet, most fun places in the ATL and I could 100% see one of the 501st working there.
-----------------------
Bly: That’s a boy, his name’s Miguel. Got his friends, they drink Pabst, shoot the empty cans behind the garage when they done, and hit on every woman that walks by. But Miguel’s got his eyes on Babe-the-Blue-Jedi and steals flowers from people’s yard and gives them to her. Babe-the-Blue-Jedi knows the man’s not that bright but his heart’s in the right place and that’s all that matters, right?
Rex: That's Rex. He's a king. Respect him.
Cody: That’s Obi-Wan’s Boyfriend, he’s sad all the time. We know why. (Confirmed that Doug is a Codywan shipper and I don’t know what to do about that)
Howzer: That’s my niece’s boyfriend, Jorge. We all love Jorge, nice guy, owns an auto repair shop and always remembers plates and napkins for the cookouts after church.
Gregor: Jorge’s cousin, Manny. Met him once at Christmas in Miami, nice guy, only drinks brown liquor and insists everyone arm wrestle him. But he’s got a good job as a PE teacher, we respect education, come on now.
Hardcase: Wiggles. He laughs at everything and never wears a helmet both on his big head and his lil head and that explains everything about the man.
Kix: Nurse Mark. He's tired and sick of your shit, sick of the creeps trying to get the Fentanyl, that's a crime now, ain't it.
Echo: "Eh, Toaster Strudel. Homeboy looks like his daddy had an affair with a convection oven on shore leave and forgot to pay child support."
Mayday: Aw, I liked this guy so much! That’s Sassy Park Ranger, he’s the type that gives you your camping permits, warns you about the bears, and then is all disappointed when you don’t properly stow your food and the bears destroy the campsite. I need to go back to Little River Canyon, that place was pretty.
Scorch: The Son of Robocop. His daddy told him to get off his lazy Robo-son ass and go get a job, so he works for the Empire now, because no one can get a job in Detroit. That’s why he’s a bad person. (Because he works for the Empire? “No, because he’s a Lions fan and that ain’t a good look for anyone.”)
Fives: Alex-from-Manitoba. He reminds me so much of this awesome guy I knew, Alex, was from Winnipeg, we worked in oil together. Smart, knew his shit, loved guns and getting his hair did. No one listens to him, management hates him, and he gets fired. Man I was so pissed off when that happened with that damn alien that ran the ocean on the mall! He deserved better, damn it!
(Fives or Alex-from-Manitoba?
“BOTH!!!”)
99: 99!
(You actually remember his name?
“Hell yeah! He’s one of the most important characters! Why would I not?”
::cue me, quietly staring at all the weird-ass names over texts and saying NOTHING in response::)
Wolffe: Bernando. I dunno, man, he got that Bernardo energy. I’ve met three and they all looked like they wanna run off into the woods and come out when they got a deer they need to process and take a shower and find a lady before running back into the woods. Also Bernardo never has a girlfriend that lasts more than 6 months with him. Don’t know why. Just trust me.
Gree: Carnie Joe. Man, he looks like the type of guy who drives an ice cream truck but there ain’t no Bomb Pops inside if you know what I mean.
Cut Lawquane: Not-Wolverine. He ran away from the Empire, grew out his muttonchops, wanted to join the X-Men, Charles Xavier said ‘Nah son you need super powers for that’, and then Not-Wolverine stomped off into Tremors-land and started a pot-and-chicken farm like every other hillbilly in Kentucky. But he got a hot wife out of the deal and some nice kids and lots of guns, and ya know, that ain’t a bad ending for the man.
Commander Fox: Red-Chief-of-Police. He’s absolutely on them Ticky-Tack videos my nieces and nephews watch where the cops are doing bad things but they ain’t gonna get fired over it. Man. It ain’t right.
Tup: Alex’s-Friend-Matt. Aw, Matt, good guy, but too much brain damage after that time he fell off the roof while laying down tar. He grew out his ponytail to hide the dent in his head and talked funny afterwards, but he real good at roughneck work and I can’t fault the man, nope.
Hevy: That’s Ross. He’s always mad because he’s insecure. He’s got a lot of Nerf guns and only eats stuff you can find at 7-11.
Jesse: That’s Jesse, he’s a trucker, was a bouncer at Clermont Lounge in Atlanta, and has three ex-wives who all hate him. He shaves his head because his hair hates him too.
Crosshair: So that there's Daddy Warcrimes. All you need to know is he lives on beer and Slim Jims, has more guns then Jesus got faith, and that he does your mom on the weekends, and then you thank him for his service.
Hunter: Aw man, we got Rambo up in this place. Daddy Rambo. He looks like he's got some hot wife with a huge butt who makes amazing biscuits, but he only showers on the weekends for reasons he won't tell you.
Wrecker: I know, I KNOW, he's got some cool Star Wars name, but in my head, he's Julio. He looks like a Julio, ya know? Every Julio's been the nicest guy with a truck and a million friends. I swear. I bet he's a contractor and lays pipe like you wouldn't believe. ::winks::
Tech: Hm, yeah, I know him. That's Ryan-from-Accounting, somebody's hipster dad. You know, everyone knows a Ryan who works in accounting, he's quiet, only drinks IPAs, and has a bitch wife named Laura who drives a Kia and is always yelling at him. Poor man. I hope Julio saves him from his bitch wife Laura.*
Omega: Little Orphan Blondie. I hope she gets real parents or something besides those freaky alien things running the mall on the ocean.
Emerie Karr: Stepsister-Beth. She’s got a stick up her rear, was in a sorority known for bitchy Daddy’s Girls who wouldn’t touch below the belt but are all about using other places for their date’s hoses to put out the fire, and only drinks almond milk lattes. She’s a bitch to waiters and drives a Prius.
(“Doug I drive a Prius.”
“Yeah, but you ain’t a southern sorority girl so y’all forgiven.”)
Nemec and Fireball: Trigger and Nutsy. They’ve been in a survival militia in the Florida Everglades and that’s all you need to know.
CX-2: The Guy from Tron. He’s a guy, and he was in the movie Tron. That’s it.

End of Round 25 - Tov’s Log
Sai (?) vs. Khoi (?) -> ??? Win
————————————————————
Wren invited herself back to the hospital when Tov was released, even going so far as to insist on pushing her in the wheelchair the hospital provided.
Tov was too tired to argue against it, letting her ramble about this and that with more energy than she thought a human could have.
It was… nice.
Listening to Wren took her mind off the darker things crowding her thoughts.
As they sat outside the hospital entrance waiting for Cassio to come collect Tov, Wren reached into the pocket of her jacket and pulled out a small, midnight blue box.
“Here, this is for you.” She said, nudging the box into Tov’s hands.
“Oh, uh, thanks?” Tov inspected the box from a distance. It was soft like leather and fit snug in her palm.
On the front was a small silver latch holding the top and bottom pieces together. It looked like a jewelry box.
She hoped it wasn’t earrings. Cassio hated permanent piercings, so Tov’s ears were never pierced like some of the other students in her class.
“Well?” Wren prompted.
She frowned, looking up from the box and over at her, “Well what?”
“Open it, silly!”
Tov did not appreciate being called silly, but she opened the box anyway.
Inside was a simple silver ring with an intertwined sun and crescent moon engraved on the surface.
She gently picked the ring up to examine it closer.
“A ring?” She asked. “What for?”
“It’s my good luck charm.” Wren said. “I don’t have any use for it right now since preliminaries haven’t started yet, so I thought, why not give it to you to see if it could help for Round 26?”
Tov rolled the ring around between her fingers as she thought, letting it catch the light of the sun.
She didn’t know if she even believed in good luck, or luck at all for that matter.
But I guess it couldn’t hurt.
She slipped the ring onto her right ring finger, and it fit perfectly.
Tov chanced a sideways glance at Wren, who was watching her reaction intently.
“How did you know my ring size?”
She smiled behind her mask, and it briefly occurred to Tov that she had never seen Wren without it.
“I didn’t! I just guessed that since our hands are about the same size, our ring sizes would be similar too. Looks like I got lucky there.” She hummed, clearly pleased.
I guess you did.
“Our hands are the same size?” Came out instead.
“Yeah! Here, look.” Wren grabbed one of Tov’s hands and held it up to hers, their palms pressed flat against each other.
Oh wow…
Her and Wren’s hands weren’t just similarly sized.
They were the same size.
Even down to the length of their fingers.
A strange feeling ran through Tov.
But it was gone before she had the chance to even acknowledge it was there to begin with.
It must’ve been the side effects of the sleep medication she’d been prescribed.
The doctor — a human, oddly enough — told Tov that her poor sleep contributed to her stress and worsened the strain on her heart.
She had taken one pill each night of her hospital stay and slept dreamlessly until morning.
The medicine would be out of her system by tomorrow.
With any luck, she could get one more night of peaceful, nightmare-free rest.
Cassio pulled up to the curb in front of them and Wren pushed the wheelchair closer to the car.
“You good to stand?” She asked as she opened the passenger side door.
“I think so.” Tov nodded and slowly stood up. The hard concrete felt odd under her feet, but she remained steady and lowered herself into the seat without issue.
Wren shut the door once she was strapped in and leaned into the open window, “I guess you’ll be taking it from here, Guardian Cassio?”
Cassio smiled, “Yes dear, I’ve got it. Thank you for all of your help.”
“Yeah, thanks Wren.” Tov said quietly. She tried to smile a little, even if she couldn’t really feel it.
“No problem! Happy to help my Anakt Garden senior.” Wren’s emphasis on the word ‘senior’ wasn’t necessary or appreciated.
Tov almost wanted to take her thank you back.
Almost.
From the creasing around her eyes, Wren must’ve been absolutely beaming behind her mask.
“Good luck on your next round.” She waved as she stepped back from the curb, “You can give me the charm back after you win the season.”
———
The nightmares came back that night.
Tov was up to her ankles in cold blood, surrounded by the bodies of her dead friends and classmates.
Their eyes were all open, glassy, staring unseeingly at something overhead.
Tov looked up just in time to watch a black hole tear open the sky and swallow all of the stars.
She woke up in a cold sweat, shaking and gasping for air. Her face was wet with tears, or sweat, or both.
Thump thump thump thump thump.
Her heartbeat pounded in her ears.
She clutched at her chest, squeezing her eyes shut, and forced herself to take deep breaths.
She had to get her heart rate under control.
“Breathe, Tov.” Her hushed voice quivered. A bead of sweat rolled down the nape of her neck. “Breathe.”
Tov? Tov!
Come on, Tov. Breathe with me.
Just follow my lead, okay?
In…
Tov breathed in.
…and out.
Tov breathed out.
In…
Tov breathed in.
…and out.
Tov breathed out.
In…
Tov breathed in.
…and out.
Tov breathed out.
See? It’s working! You’re doing great, keep going.
Keep going…
Tov didn’t know how long she stayed like that, breathing in time with the voice in her head.
It sounded like a child.
Slowly her heartbeat eased, settling back into its quick, but familiar rhythm.
She couldn’t remember who the voice belonged to. They’d all changed so much since then.
And now nearly everyone who it could’ve been was dead.
Tov pressed the heels of her palms into her eyes until she saw stars, “Fuck.”
She tossed aside her sheets, too hot and damp to be comfortable, and sat on the floor with her back against the mattress frame.
The chill of the air conditioning cooled her heated skin. The alarm clock on the nightstand read 03:19am.
Round 26 was less than 48 hours away.
She’d be on that stage again.
Now it was stained with Himei’s blood too.
“You can give me the charm back after you win the season.” Wren said.
How was she supposed to win the season like this?
And if she did win, what would happen after? What was there to go back to?
Cassio? Wren? Her secret benefactor?
They were hardly a replacement for everyone she lost. Everyone that kept her going.
Keep going…
“Shut up.” She muttered into the dark.
Silence was her only answer.
She pulled her knees up to her chest and closed her eyes.
Part of Tov wished there was still someone there with her.
Someone to sit next to her and help bear the weight of all this pain and grief.
But to ask that of anyone — to inflict this torture on anyone — would be horribly selfish.
Still, some small part of her wanted it; as sick as that might be.
Maybe Alien Stage made everyone a little sick in the head.
Daiki was sick.
Whoever poisoned Lark was sick too.
Every single one of them who wanted a classmate to lose and die so their friend could live was sick. Tov included.
What was a little more sickness then?
The tablet on the nightstand pinged, its screen glowing like a beacon in the night.
Tov reached up to grab it and settled back in her spot on the floor.
A red notification bubble flashed in the top left corner of the home screen, signaling a new message in her inbox.
Tov furrowed her brows.
Who’s messaging this late?
She tapped through to view her full conversation list and saw her guardian’s name at the top.
Her brows only furrowed more.
Cassio? What are you doing up?
She tapped the screen again to open the message.
///////
TOV,

If I had to guess, this message is likely from a fan of yours.
Please read it when you have time.
I will see you for your final dress fitting later today.

\\\\\\\
Tov was… confused, to say the least.
Why would a digital document need to be marked urgent?
Why did the sender not identify themselves or what they wanted?
Why did they hide the source of the message in the first place?
Tov knew she was a novice when it came to having fans and getting messages from them, but nothing like this had ever happened before.
She hesitated only for a moment, before curiosity won out and she clicked on the file attached to the original message.
There were no words in the file, only music notes.
Sheet music?
Is this a song you want me to sing?
Tov scanned the screen for any sign of a title, but there was nothing.
Okay, so not a song to sing. Maybe it’s just one to listen to?
She hoped it wasn’t a piece they wanted her to play on an instrument.
If this really was from a fan, then they would know that she couldn’t play any instruments.
Tov read over the first eight notes, softly humming them to herself, trying to decipher their meaning.
This sounds kind of familiar.
A feeling of deja vu prickled at her skin as she hummed the notes for a third time.
I know this song. But from where?
She closed her eyes and sung the notes again.
The tune was nostalgic. It must’ve been from Anakt Garden.
But there were no words, so it couldn’t be a song they practiced in class.
Clearly this was for an instrument. A string instrument, if she was reading it correctly.
Tallis was the gifted one in the trio when it came to music composition, not her.
Wait—
Realization struck Tov like a bolt of lightning.
This song…
She knew this song because Tallis wrote it for her when they were kids.
It was “a token of their friendship” he’d said at the time.
Except, as far as she knew, Tallis never wrote it down anywhere. He insisted that he would remember it.
And he never shared it with anyone other than her.
Not even Himei.
But if he never wrote it down, and we’re the only ones who know the song—
Does that mean—
Tov’s heart skipped a beat.
“Tallis is alive.”
————————————————————
Tovallis stans wake up!!! (and it’s just me and @lookatmysillies gripping each other’s shoulders and yelling)
Also more Tov and Wren bonding! It’s a shame Tov didn’t follow that odd feeling she got when she noticed their hands were the same lol
The scores and winner of Round 25 are left blank because Tov wasn’t allowed to watch the round in the hospital. Cassio was worried that it would aggravate her heart issues.
Tallis and Himei belong to @lookatmysillies.

Notes:
This is super rambly and drawn out but it's just loads of Nightowl fluff. Would appreciate feedback as I'd like to keep writing lil fics for my favorite Blooming Panic boy, carpal tunnel allowing.
Also, obligatory character playlist plug because I love it. Title comes from a lyric from a song on there :)
Reposted from AO3
●▬▬▬▬▬๑⇩⇩๑▬▬▬▬▬●
You impatiently stared out of the window as the car turned into the parking lot of an apartment complex. As it comes to a halt, you could not have gotten out of it sooner. Grabbing your backpack, you thanked the driver before closing the door. You went around to the back, opened the trunk, and hauled out a duffel bag. As overworked as you were, your wallet be damned if you paid for a checked bag, not that you really needed it anyway. Slamming the trunk closed, the car drove off. With your backpack on and the world's heaviest duffel bag slung over your shoulder, you practically ran towards the entrance of the building.
Once inside, you rocked your feet back and forth as you waited for the elevator to come to the ground floor. While your destination was only one floor away, your cargo would kill you before making it up half a flight of stairs, not to mention how much a long, cramped flight takes out of you. After an agonizing wait, the elevator arrived with a ding. You hopped in and repeatedly pressed the door close button, knowing full well that doing so would not speed up the process at all. Pent-up excitement was being taken out on your phone via death grip as the elevator went up. Another ding allowed your phone to live another day. With an exit now available, your speed walking to your destination rivaled that of senior citizens at the mall at 7 in the morning. Halting yourself in front of the door, you knocked.
“Hold on!” Nightowl shouted from the other side. Some faint chaos bleed through the door for a moment before the door swung open. You immediately flung yourself onto the person in front of you, enveloping him in a bear hug forceful enough to push him back a step or two. “Woah, hey there, cutie. I missed you so much,” he laughed, reciprocating the hug with the same amount of love.
“Fuck, I’ve missed you more, sweetheart,” you spoke into his neck. The two of you stayed in the hug a moment longer before moving slightly apart, still enough to hold each other. Nightowl leaned down for a kiss, that you happily gave. Though short, both of you had been dying for it.
“Glad you’re back home, things just feel so off when you’re not here.”
“I know, just a few more months, and we never have to do this again,” you smiled at him, lifting yourself slightly for another kiss. When you broke apart, a playful pout was on his face.
“Why can't you just stay here now,” he whined, tightening his grip on your waist slightly. Even after finishing his graduate program, he still acted like a little kid at times. You loved his playful demeanor, though.
“Because my sadist job is trying to kill me before I can leave,” you responded, starting to sway the two of you. “At least the new one will be much better.”
“Mmh, can’t wait till then. But, in the meantime, I will be a chivalrous gentleman and take your bags so that you can take a nice, long shower. I’ll order some food after, and we can have a quiet night in.”
“Ah, you’re truly wonderful, darling.”
“Only the best for you, cutie,” he said, giving you a peck on the lips.
Letting go of each other, you immediately dropped your bags onto the floor and handed Nightowl your phone. While you kicked off your shoes, Nightowl took your bags back to the bedroom. You quickly made your way back to the bathroom. With as often as you visited, it was easier to get a second shower brush and share toiletries than lug your own back and forth. Given that Nightowl wasn’t the 20-in-1 type of guy, you didn’t have to worry about your hair being dry and skin breaking out.
As you took your long-deserved shower, Nightowl put himself to work unpacking your things. Putting your clothes in his closet, your phone and laptop on his desk and charging them, accessories on his own stands, and whatever else you had brought in their rightful places. While the majority of the time he wouldn’t do these things for himself, for you, he spends a full day getting his place clean up for your arrival. Not to say that he was a slob, but the life of an architect could be very demanding. He sometimes joked with himself that if his carrier fell through he would be the perfect househusband for you.
Eventually, your shower ended and you went across the hall in your towel to get changed. Walking into the bedroom, you’re greeted with Nightowl laying on the bed, scrolling through the several options on DoorDash. He looked up at you and grinned. “You’re looking good, cutie. I unpacked everything for you while you were in there.”
“Absolutely wonderful you are,” you hummed, making your way over to the closet to pick out something to throw on for the night.
“For you, anything,” He stared at you, nothing but adoration filling his eyes as you grabbed your clothes. “Want me to close my eyes?”
“If you don’t mind,” you responded. Although you have seen each other in every state of undress imaginable, he still felt the importance of privacy whenever wanted. You appreciated his care, especially given your history of mediocre relationships with people who couldn’t bother with those sorts of things. When he closed his eyes, you quickly got yourself dressed in a random t-shirt of indeterminate ownership and the sluttiest pair of plaid pajama pants you could find. “You’re good now,” you spoke, starting to dry your hair off with the towel you wore into the room. At your command, Nightowl opened his eyes to look at you once more.
“I think I like this combo better than the towel.”
“I tried with the pants.”
“And you succeeded,” he chuckled. “So, did you think over what you want for dinner?”
“Hmm,” you began as you continued to dry your hair, “You craving anything?”
Nightowl shook his head, “Not really, I’m good with whatever.”
“Then can we get something from that one Chinese place over by that one bookstore?” you asked cheerfully.
“Sure thing, cutie. The usual?”
“Yes, please. Thank you, love!”
Nightowl went back to his phone to place your order while you went back to the bathroom to hang your towel. When you returned, he set his phone down and patted the spot next to him. You lay down next to him, moving closer to lay your head on his chest.
Nightowl wrapped an arm around your waist. “How was your flight?" he asked.
"About as good as it can get with two babies on board."
"Aw man, sorry you got stuck with that.”
"At least your neighbors don't have kids."
"I don't think I could have made it through grad school if they did. I hope the shower relaxed you some though," he said, starting to rub your stomach with his thumb slightly.
"Not as much as lying here with you right now," you smiled at him.
“Pretty girl on my chest and she’s this sweet? I won at life being able to have you all to myself.” Your face went pink at his words. Although he said things like that all the time, it never failed to make you feel like a dumb teenager when he did. The best you could do was let out a small whine in response. “Aww, and you’re all flustered by that? You’re killing me here, cutie.”
“Oh, shush, it’s just 'cause I haven’t seen you in months.”
“Sure, if you say so,” he hummed.
The two of you continued to talk about random topics as you waited for your dinner. Due to the wonders of technology and neither of you possessing the ability to be okay with not calling every day, there wasn’t anything exactly big to catch up on. A little while longer went by until Nightowl got a notification that the driver was at the building. The two of you got up, he to acquire the food, and you to grab drinks and pick out the entertainment you would be promptly ignoring. After a decent look in the fridge, you grabbed two beverages of choice and plopped yourself onto the couch.
You waited a moment longer before Nightowl came back with the food. He brought the bag to the couch and rummaged through it to hand you your food along with a pair of chopsticks graciously provided by the restaurant. You, starving, started eating before he even got around to opening his food.
“God, I’ve missed this so much,” you started between chews, “Seriously, this place has the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.”
“And here I was thinking you meant eating takeout with me,” he joked.
“I suppose I missed that too, but I don’t know, this lo mein is pretty fucking good,” you shot back. With his free hand, Nightowl placed a hand on his chest and leaned back, closing his eyes.
“Oh, I can’t believe she loves egg noodles more than me!” he remarked. You giggled a bit in response.
“Fine, perhaps I love the current activity more than egg noodles.”
“Just the activity?”
“You’re not gonna make me say this, are you?”
“How else would I know if you don’t say it out loud, to my face?” The little antic of his was one reminiscent of one faithful night in the call channel of the Bloomic server. Over time, you learned that he loved to pull this type of line either to get you flustered over little things or annoy the shit out of you.
“Fine, I definitely absolutely, love you, Nightowl, more than egg noodles or eating egg noodles in your presence,” you playfully groaned out.
“You hear that? She loves me more than egg noodles!” he shouted. You smiled at his response. Though a cute moment, it was quickly ended by a banging from the wall in front of you.
“Shut the fuck up in there!” A neighbor shouted through the wall. The two of you stared at each other in surprise before Nightowl yelled a quick apology back.
“That’s the second neighbor you’ve pissed off by boasting about my love for you,” you said after a moment.
“I would happily piss off several more if it means I can brag about you,” he said, going back to finish his food, “Granted, as long as it doesn’t get me evicted.”
You chuckled. “Good call.”
As time went on, you continued mindless banter accompanying the completion of your meals. Even once finished, the two of you sat together and talked for what seemed like forever. You even managed to squeeze out some information, albeit, fairly vague, about the dates he had planned for the two of you during your stay. At some point, all the travel and excitement of the day had gotten the better of you. While you did try to hide it, a yawn gave your state of energy away to Nightowl.
“I saw that, cutie. A queen needs her beauty sleep.”
“Says you.”
“I’ll have you know that I still get my full 8 hours every night,” he asserted.
You chuckled, which turned into another yawn. “Maybe so, but you still live life in another time zone.”
“When you’re here, it gets a bit more normal.”
“Really?” you thought for a moment, “Huh, I guess it does. Wonder why?”
“Maybe it’s cause I worry about your well-being in terms of sleep so much that it rubs off on me,” he pondered.
“If taking care of me gets you to take care of yourself, then I'm all for it,” you smiled at the sweetness of it all.
Nightowl got up and started collecting the empty containers, “You go on to bed, I’ll meet you there in a minute.”
“You sure?”
“Mhm, you come first, cutie.”
You got up from the couch, “Absolutely the best to me.”
You cupped his face, giving him a peck on the cheek before making your way to bed. Little did you know, but that small act of affection melted Nightowl’s heart. Blushed, he took a moment from cleaning up to compose himself. He didn’t exactly know why he reacted with the fuzzy, teenager-in-love feeling, but he welcomed it nonetheless. He picked up the pace to join you just slightly sooner.
While he was finishing up, you had practically thrown yourself into bed, the exhaustion finally hitting you. You got yourself comfortable and passed the time looking around the room, studying what’s changed since you last visited. Though a tad boring, you didn’t exactly possess the brain power to check your phone and retain anything.
Eventually, a blonde figure caught the corner of your eye. You turned to face your beloved Nightowl as he entered the room, shutting the door behind him. He turned off a small desk lamp, allowing the fairy lights over his bed to illuminate the room. You sleepily pat the spot next to you, which he happily filled, snuggling as close to you as he could. The sparking of the lights above the two of you reflected in his brown eyes. Even in your extremely groggy state, you couldn’t help but smile at the sight of your boyfriend.
“You ready to sleep?” he mumbled, seeming to try to hide a yawn of his own.
“Yeah,” your eyes were already fluttering closed. Nightowl brought an arm around you and planted a kiss on the top of your head. “Maybe tomorrow you can be the activity I love.”
“I will most definitely make sure that becomes true,” he smiled, “Goodnight, cutie.”
“Goodnight, sweetheart.”
The warm lights illuminated the two of you drifting off to sleep together for the first time in months. All became still in that apartment, and for a night, all was right in the world.

Just a little thing I whipped up for @eftanz :3

Tf2 writing practice || heavy medic
⋆。゚☁︎。✈︎⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
Heavy felt this sort of lump form in his throat as he forced down his suitcase, closing it up as a deep sigh slipped from his lips. He let his head droop as he closed his eyes, taking in these final moments. Safe. On the ground. not in the air in a metal death tube…
He was flying with medic to Germany for a vacation, they’d been granted some down time and medic was ecstatic to show heavy around, the doctor had been rambling about all sorts of things he needed to show heavy and the foods he insisted heavy needed to try. Another exasperated sigh slipped from his lips.
‘You need to be strong misha’ he reminded himself as he gently tapped the suitcase ‘be strong for medic and for yourself.’ he frowned with a nod, he was right. His inner dialogue was interrupted as he heard medic calling for him. “heavy!! Are you ready yet?”
the familiar voice trilled, medic almost seemed to float as he practically skipped into the room. Misha took a sharp inhale to puff himself up, trying to seem more confident in the moment than he was.
“Archimedes is almost all set so we can head to the airport whenever-“ the doctor had started speaking before he looked up from the bird to misha, stopping as he blinked. “heavy? Is everything okay?” The doctor asked with a frown as he carefully approached his large companion, a gentle hand resting on his chest “you look pale..”
heavy felt his jaw practically lock in place, he felt his throat swell up and his gut twist into knots “da…da…heavy is just- ah- so excited for trip with doktor.” he weakly forced a smile to his anxious lips as he nodded, as if he didn’t fully believe the words himself. Medic wasn’t convinced, his hand gently ran over and down his arm. Gently holding heavy’s hand he hummed, seems he decided to not press any further. Phew.
“Ah, ja! I can’t wait to get there, heheh it’s been so long since I’ve been home and I can’t wait to share it with you!” the medic gushed as he carefully lifted heavy’s hand to his face, gently pressing against the large palm as he closed his eyes. Relishing in the contact he stood there, fingers interlocked with his companion. Misha felt this wave of relaxation wash over him as their fingers interlaced and he just got to stand there, Let his mind wander away from…the flight and he just got to be close to the man he adored most.
“Well. Whenever you’re ready, I’ll be loading our things.” he finally stated, Misha felt that comfort melt away as he was hesitant to let medic’s hand go for a moment. His gaze and grip followed medic before the doctor slipped off, his hand falling back by his side. He’d think to himself for a moment, finally mustering the energy to grab his things and join the doctor
‘Be brave misha. Be brave’
⋆⭒˚。⋆✈︎
The noise of the airport buzzed in the large man’s ears, he hadn’t even noticed medic was calling his name and carefully shaking his arm as his leg was bouncing out of control.
“Huh?” he glanced now to medic, disoriented blinking as he looked down to the companion. Worriedly the doctor looked back up to him
“are you sure everything is okay, heavy? You’ve been more quiet than usual and you keep bouncing your leg…” he worriedly looked down to misha’s still bouncing leg and back up to his face, gently squeezing his hand “you know you can tell me if something’s wrong, right?”
heavy felt his words catch in his throat as he forced his leg very quickly to stop “ah da, heavy is fine. Just can’t-“ the words caught again as he choked them out “can’t wait to— Ergh get in the plane.” he forced a smile, this time it seemed to be much more obvious as medic frowned in return
“Heavy-“ he began but was cut off as their flight was paged, oh dear. Finally. It was here. Medic looked back about to part his lips to speak but Misha was already up, grabbing their suitcases and he made his way to the terminal. Medic begrudgingly grabbed archimedes cage and following.
it felt like…a walk of shame almost. Despite being no where near the plane he could he the roar of its engine, the loud hissing snarl of that metal beast, made him want to recoil and rush back in fear. he could almost see the threatening blades whipping around and swooping past with each turn. It made his gut churn, made his knees feel weak and the bags he had no problem carrying before now felt like 10 ton weights. It didn’t even come close to the horror he felt at the image of being up in the air, oh god…the sounds of creaks and groans as the metal tube pushed forward and leapt for the skies. Hundreds of feet up into the air- and the horrid thought of wind filling the cabin- he could hear the screams as the gravity forced him back into his seat and as they hurtled to THE GROUND GOING FASTER AND FASTER AND FASTER UNTIL—
He leaned against the wall, gripping his chest as cold sweat ran down his brow, medic close to his side looking on in fear “heavy! You almost fell over! You need to tell me what’s wrong” he pleaded as the doctor stayed close to heavy, whom was barely upright from his knees buckling under him. He hesitated and fought with himself. It felt stupid. So very very dumb that someone like himself, who had fought so hard and so long, who had seen the horrors of war and conflict so long, and done his work as a mercenary even longer to be afraid of- something so trivial.
But he had to do it.
“Heavy is…heavy he- he is afraid of aeroplane..” his head sunk in defeat, half expecting medic to laugh. To think it was a joke, or to tease him for it, but it never came. Instead he felt his face being pulled to look to medic, his lip quivered some in defeat as he stared back at his partner, those familiar eyes accentuated by the thick glasses frames with understanding and worry and- and compassion swirling in them
“Oh heavy…it is okay to be afraid. Flying is a very scary thing.” he sighed as he gently pressed his forehead against heavy’s “but it will be okay, you know why? We are in this together. Always and always” he crooned with a smile as he pulled back
“How about this? I will take the window seat, that way you don’t have to look while we fly, and I will hold your hand the whole time?” He smiled to his companion, not removing his hand from the larger figure’s cheek. Misha smiled, if it hadn’t been for the location he might of even let a tear slip as his hand rose up and pressed medic’s palm firmly against his face
“Da. Heavy would like that.” He said at last as medic smiled wide and cupped both of heavy’s hands in his. Overjoyed he could help ease the stress, even if only a little
“Here! I’ll show you this little trick, you tap the outside of the plane as good luck! A little ‘we will land safe’ sort of thing and to remind you it is a solid piece of equipment.” Chirped the medic as he held tightly to Misah’s hand as they made their way to the gate, carefully boarding. Heavy felt a sense of pride well in his chest as he watched medic gently tap the outside of the plane, his own hand followed, he felt overjoyed as medic condemned his bravery as they took their seats. His fingers carefully interlocked with medic’s as they settled in for the flight, a deep breath as he closed his eyes. Head resting back.
Suddenly flying…didn’t feel so scary.

Imagine akademiya! Dottore tutoring child! reader, who forgets almost everything he says. so he teaches you for atleast 3 hours and he asks you one question, you didn't remember anything cause you we're thinking of what's his favorite food- 💀 (i'm currently craving for platonic dottore) -💐
❛❛ Troublesome Kiddo ❜❜
✎ ❛❛ Kid, pay attention to me, will you? ❜❜
Pairing(s): Akademiya!Dottore & Child!GN!Reader (PLATONIC)
Genre/Format: Crackfic (Drabble)
Warning(s): Use of Dottore's (speculated) real name
wc: 534
Notes: Hello 💐 Anon! This is so cute omg. I could imagine Akadamiya Dottore being so done with kiddo (Y/n) LMAO. I wasn't sure if this is a request or not but I couldn't resist to write a little something for it, as soon as i read this a bunch of ideas just came out of no where 💀 I'm sorry if it's short!
⚠️ Also I'm sorry for those who are still waiting for me to finish the 100+ followers event prompts. I'll get to them as best as I can 😭
Zandik—as one of the top students in the Akademiya, his achievements were widely spread in Sumeru. Wherever he went, whether it be on the bustling streets or at a store, people would often praise him for his enviable intelligence.
However, despite his genius of a mind, was someone who unironically struggled with mora. With how many assignments were piled up on his desk and the hunger to conduct experiments, he didn’t have the time to really find a suitable job.
So who was he to refuse when one of the citizens ran up to him and asked him to tutor her child? He was about to deny but was cut off when the person said she was willing to pay him a ransom. Taking a glance at the child beside the pleading mother, they looked no older than probably ten years old.
How hard was it going to be to teach a kid basic math? And he was getting paid too! It was a win-win situation for him, only an idiot would refuse!
Now that he had agreed to help, he was beginning to contemplate if he had made the right decision as he sat next to the kid—(Y/n), who never seemed to run out of energy.
“Alright, so—”
“Mister, what is that blue glowy thing on your ear?” (Y/n) asked.
Zandik sighed for probably the fifteenth time today when he got cut off.
“That’s a—”
“Oh! I know! This is where you keep your, um, blueberry juice so you can drink it wherever you want!”
He was too tired to explain, honestly. So he decided to just go with what (Y/n) said.
“Yes, yes, you’re right. Now—”
“Or maybe you’re secretly a wizard and that’s your magic potion!”
Sigh.
“Alright, kid. How about we take a break and then you listen to me, okay?”
Then (Y/n) nodded happily which was a huge relief because they were still on the first chapter of the kiddo’s textbook.
Zandik soon came back with a plate of snacks for the ankle-biter and continued on with their tutoring session.
For the whole time while he was explaining how multiplication works, (Y/n) sat in silence as they munched on a chocolate chip cookie. While they remained quiet, he took that as a sign they were listening to him with how their eyes were staring at the textbook intently.
(Y/n) did try their best to listen, really. They were able to do that until ten minutes in, their mind wandered off to a land of singing Aranaras and floating food…
Food…
I wonder what's Mr. Zanny's favorite food. They thought to themselves.
Dangos… Potato Boat… Rose Custard—
“Okay, now that I’ve explained the method on how to solve this. I’ll ask you a question,” Zandik said. Breaking (Y/n) out of their daydream.
“So, what’s five times two?”
“Five times two? Two… Oh! That reminds me. Mommy gave me two apples for breakfast today! They are my favorite food!”
They continued, “What’s your favorite food, Mr. Zanny? You have blueberry juice with you so maybe… blueberry cupcakes? Or maybe even—”
This kid… Zandik thought as he grunted in defeat, drowning out (Y/n)’s ramblings.
Oh he didn’t get paid enough for this.

Change // SFK (Pt 11)
a/n~ Alright y'all, I am FAR too excited to sit on this one until tomorrow. This is a HUGE step for them that I need to get out into the universe.
WARNINGS: SMUT 18+ MINORS DNI! Oral, penetrative sex.
Sophia had awoken with a case of the giggles. His familiar scent tickling her nose as she rolled over and snuggled against him; placing her head gently against his chest. Sam stirred lightly, wrapping the arm she rested against around her waist and pulled her closer against his side. Her arm was thrown lazily across his stomach, dancing the tips of her fingers across his side.
“What has you tickled so pink this early?” Sam cooed, poking his finger into the curve of her ribcage to punctuate his words. Her giggles intensified, burying her face into the soft material of his shirt to try and stifle the noise.
“Sammy, please, I can’t breathe!” She choked out, his fingers continuing to assault the ticklish spots of her ribcage. Her eyes began to water as she pulled a deep breath in through her nose, her giggles starting to subside as he ceased his attack.
“Sammy, please. I like the sound of that.” He teased, rolling over to nuzzle his face in to the crook of her neck. She couldn’t help the string of giggles that escaped her as she reached up and began to stroke her thumb across the length of his cheek.
“What I was going to say before I was so rudely interrupted was that it’s been a long time since I’ve woken up with someone in my bed.” She mumbled, reveling in the feeling of his cheek pressed against hers. Sam chuckled softly, slipping his fingers cheekily up the back of her shirt.
“I told you I’d sleep on the couch but you were all “No, Sammy, come cuddle with me, please. No funny business, I promise.” Sammy mocked her, his voice a higher pitch to match hers. She shook her head lightly, reaching back to pull her fingers through the tangled locks of his hair.
“No it’s… it’s nice to wake up next to someone that you weren’t forced into the bed with. It was nice to just lay with you and talk and to wake up to you still next to me.” Sam chuckled lightly as he pressed soft kisses up the length of her neck, across the soft curve of her jaw and placed a sweet peck to her lips.
A gasp escaped Sophia as the room lit up behind her closed lids, the sound of thunder following shortly after. Sam groaned as his phone pinged on the bedside table, no doubt a text from Danny that the market was a no go.
“Uh oh. Guess you’ll just have to stay here with me all day.” Sophia giggled, nervous excitement bubbling in her belly as the suggestion slipped past her lips.
“You wished for this, didn’t you? You said come stay the night, Sammy. We can cuddle and just talk, Sammy. We can go to the market together, I can help you set up, Sammy. But I know full well when you curled up next to me last night you said ‘hey Mother Nature do your best to cancel the market, didn’t you?” Sam mumbled, the ramblings lost in the rumble of thunder that sounded somewhere in the distance.
She shook her head gently and placed her hand against his cheek. He peeked his eyes open, taking in her sleep kissed features. A soft smile played across Sophia’s lips as she ran her thumb over the length of his cheek, slowly making her way to his lips. Sam’s eyes fluttered shut, the soft, tickling sensation that spread across his skin sending a shiver down his back.
“I would never wish for a rainy day so you’d be out of making your money, who do you take me for?” She giggled, pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose.
“I take you for someone that now has to deal with me in day old clothes. C’mon, get dressed. Let’s go get food, my treat.”
Nervous energy bubbled in Sam’s stomach as he pushed himself into a seated position and turned his back to her. He took a deep breath, willing his heart to stop pounding out of his chest as he pushed himself to stand and made his way to the bathroom.
~*~*~
A shiver danced up Sophia’s spine as Sam’s fingers ran over a particularly sensitive spot on her lower back. She pulled a deep breath in through her nose as she lifted her head from where it lay tucked safely in the crook of his neck and placed a soft kiss to his cheek.
“I thought you were sleeping, baby.” Sam mumbled, letting his eyes flutter shut as the credits for the movie they had been watching began to roll across the screen. She giggled softly, peppering a line of kisses across his cheek and pecked a sweet kiss to his lips.
“No, was just enjoying the way your fingers felt.” She kept her voice light, the hand she had tucked beside his face flexing as she reached her thumb out and began to stroke his cheek. A soft smile caressed his face and he puckered his lips, blindly searching for another kiss.
Sophia’s instincts kicked in, slowly maneuvering her body so she was straddling his waist and her lips found his once more. She placed her hands on his cheeks, fully enjoying the way his lips worked against hers, keeping the pace she set but slowly began to take control.
Sam placed his hand on her leg, straightening it out as he used his other arm to push himself into a seated position and wrapped her leg around his waist. His hands gripped her thighs, kneading the soft flesh beneath his hands and dug the pads of his thumbs into her, dangerously close to her center.
He soon realized what he was doing, fighting the urge to let his eyes spring open in shock and moved his hands to her lower back, pulling her closer against his body. She giggled lightly, pulling back to break the kiss and found his gaze with hers.
“That was an okay touch, sweet boy. What was it you said to me? It’s okay to touch and explore as long as you’re ready to?” She giggled, running her fingers back through his long tangled locks.
“Not to be crude but, I’ve been ready since the moment I met you. It’s on your time, not mine.” He mumbled, leaning forward and pressed a trail of soft kisses up the expanse of her neck.
“I’m fine with this for the time being.” He chuckled, running his bottom lip over the soft spot right below her ear and sunk his teeth into the soft flesh of her ear lobe. A shiver danced up her spine as she quickly pulled away from him, turning her face to press a kiss to his cheek.
“It’s okay to touch and explore. Unless you think I’m fragile and you’re going to break me.”
Sam’s eyes grew wide at her confession and he reached up, cupping her cheeks in his palms. She wore a proud smile, reveling in the fact that she was the reason his jaw was in his lap and nodded lightly at the questioning look in his eyes. He leaned forward and captured her lips with his, letting his hands slowly trail down her sides. They came to rest on the hem of her t-shirt, curling his fingers around it and lifted it gently, exposing the soft skin of her stomach.
“You’re sure about this? You don’t have to do it just because I want you.” Sam mumbled, rubbing his pinky fingers over the now exposed skin. She averted her gaze as a nervous smile spread across her lips and she pulled her bottom lip between her teeth, worrying down on the kiss swollen flesh.
“Confession? I… I wanted you last night. Hell I wanted you the day we went thrift shopping but the universe punished me for that. I want all of you, Sam, every last inch of you, of your skin, every last thought in your mind, the good, the bad, all of your flaws. I want it all.”
Tears welled in her eyes as she laid her heart out, letting herself be vulnerable. She took a deep, steadying breath and blinked the moisture in her eyes away. Sam leaned forward and captured her lips with his, gently peeling his fingers away from her shirt and wrapped his arms tightly around her midsection.
A sigh slipped past his nose as his hands returned to the hem of her shirt and - with a quick nod of approval - he shimmied the material up and over her head. Her arms snapped to her chest, immediately covering her bra clad body. Her eyes were wide as she talked herself down and reached behind her to open the clasp of her bra.
“You’re absolutely sure?” Sam’s voice was low, holding a raspy and sultry tone that shot straight through to her core. She giggled nervously and nodded; letting her eyes flutter shut as her bra slipped easily down her arms and exposed her chest to him.
His fingers danced soft designs against the skin of her chest, tracing a soft line down between the valley of her breasts. He cupped her left breast and he gently ran the side of his thumb over the taught peak of her nipple. The sensation causing a fire to ignite in her belly and she leaned into the touch.
She reached forward, shaky hands trying and failing to open the buttons on his shirt. Sam chuckled lightly, removing his hands from her body to wrap them around her wrists and guide her hands to his shoulders. He looked up at her through hooded eyes, the downward swoop of them more prominent the more his lids drooped.
“No worries, gorgeous. Lemme help.” Sam chuckled as he quickly separated the buttons, letting the soft material cascade down his arms and pool behind him. She kept her eyes trained on his as she placed her hands against his chest. There was a loving look to his gaze as he watched her drop her eyes and danced her fingers gently over his prominent collar bone.
He knew she could feel where he strained again his jeans, his cock pressing firmly against the dip of her hip joint. Sophia rolled her hips gently, repositioning the way she sat on his lap before bending down and connecting her lips to his collar bone. Sam’s breath caught in his throat as her hand grazed against his groin and she reached out to squeeze his side. She sucked roughly against his skin, rolling her hips against his once more.
“Fia.” Her name left his lips on a whisper, the way his hands gripped her thighs the only communication she needed. Her hands found his belt buckle and she pulled away from him, a hunger in her eyes he had never seen before.
“Hi.” A smile kissed her lips as she opened his belt and slowly pushed herself up off of him. She held her hands out to him, a nervous look kissing her features as she waited for him to wrap his hands around hers.
“The bed might be more comfortable.” She teased, threading her fingers through his and yanked him to his feet. A boisterous laugh escaped Sam as he crashed into her back, wrapping his arms around her before slowly walking them in the direction of her room.
“Have I ever told you how cute you are when you’re nervous?” Sam chuckled, watching intently as she stripped her jeans off and perched herself on the edge of the bed. She shook her head gently, pointing at the pants that still clung to his waist.
“Patience, my sweet love.” He chuckled, closing the distance between them. Sophia scrambled backwards up the length of the bed, nervous giggles bubbling up from her chest as he rested his knees against the edge of the bed. He wrapped his hands around her ankles and yanked, pulling her back down the bed towards him.
“Sorry, you were too far away.” He cooed, placing a hand on either side of her head and hovered his body over hers.
Sophia looked up at him through the shaded curtain his hair created, new tears pricking the backs of her eyes as she fully realized what was about to happen. Sam lowered his upper body slightly, beginning to trail kisses from her forehead down the length of her cheek and stopped only to press a soft peck to her lips before he continued his descent. Her breath caught in her throat as he closed his lips around her nipple and began to flick the tip of his tongue across her taut nipple.
“Sammy, please.” Her words slipped out in a whine, back arching into his touch. His warm breath fanned out over her skin, rising goosebumps in its wake. Pulling back off of her skin with a lewd pop he blew a cool stream of air on her wet skin and elicited a soft whine from her.
“Still like how that sounds.” He chuckled, his lips once again finding a spot against her molten skin. A soft giggle escaped her as his facial hair tickled her and her hand shot down to cup his chin.
“Enough with the funny business.” She cooed, tugging on his chin. Sam followed her lead, slowly moving so he hovered fully over her once more.
“If you don’t actually touch me in the next ten seconds I’m taking care of myself.” She teased, cupping her breasts and rolled her taut nipples between her thumb and forefinger. Sam’s eyes grew wide as he scrambled up, quickly ridding himself of his pants.
Sophia sat up, a wide grin spread across her lips as she scooted closer to the edge of the bed and reached out, placing her hands firmly on his ass. He couldn’t help the breathy chuckle that escaped him as he stepped forward and slotted himself between her knees.
“What’s gotten into you?” Sam cooed, reaching out to run his hands through her loose locks. She pressed a soft kiss to his stomach, pressing her nose firmly into the soft flesh and breathed in deep.
“Confidence.” She placed a line of teasing kisses along the length of his waistband, curling her fingers around the sides of it and looked up at him through her lashes. Sam nodded gently and watched as she slowly pulled his boxers down; her eyes widening slightly as his dick was freed from the fabric. He chuckled as she studied him, gently touching the skin around his dick as if testing the waters.
“Can I?” She mumbled, big doe eyes staring up at him through her lashes and she gently wrapped her petite hand around his length. He took a step back, allowing her to lower herself to her knees and threaded his fingers through her hair.
She took a deep breath and stroked him slowly. He pulled a sharp breath in through his nose as she wrapped her lips gently around the tip of his dick. Hollowing her cheeks she took him as deep into her mouth as she could, pulling back painstakingly slow. She set a slow and steady pace, eliciting a gasp from his chest as she reached up and cupped his balls in her hand.
“Sophia.” Her name sounded like a scold as it left his lips, causing a giggle to slip past her nose as she pulled off of him with a lewd pop.
“That’s my name, don’t wear it out.” She giggled, leaning back on her elbows. Sam bent at the waist and slotted his hands under her arms, easily sliding her farther up the bed before resting his knees on the end of the bed.
“You’re a tease.” He mumbled, hooking his fingers under the waistband of her panties and yanked them down off of her body in one swift move. She yelped as she heard the material tear, eyes fluttering shut quickly as his hand found her core. His fingers slid easily between her folds, her body seemingly telling him everything her mouth wouldn’t allow her to.
“For me? You shouldn’t have.” He chuckled, leaning down to press kisses to the sensitive flesh just below her ear. A soft moan slipped past her lips as he sucked gently and his teeth grazed the already sensitive spot.
He gently began to circle her clit with the pad of his thumb. Soft whimpering moans spilled out of her at his actions, screwing her eyes shut as she got lost in the feeling of his fingers on her. He teased her entrance gently, pressing one finger into her, and then another as she clenched around his fingers.
“Oh my god.” Her voice was a mixture of a purr and a whisper as she gripped the sheets underneath her.
“Can you cum for me first? Hmm? All over my hand so I know what I’m working with? Hmm?” He chuckled softly as she reached up and tangled her fingers in his hair, yanking his face down to hers. She crashed her lips against his, holding him in place as she focused on the rapidly coiling band in her stomach. Sam knew by the way she fluttered around his fingers that she was close, the gentleness of his touch sending her careening over the edge quickly.
She kept her eyes screwed shut as she sang his praises but the damned hot tears that streaked down her cheeks betrayed her as embarrassment settled in her chest. Sam removed himself from her, wiping his fingers on the bed spread as the realization of what was happening hit him.
“Hey, no, no, it’s okay. Did I hurt you?” Sam cooed, laying next to her and wrapping her in his arms. She shook her head lightly, pulling a deep breath in through her nose as she steadied herself.
“I’m sorry. I… I didn’t mean to.” She mumbled. Sam’s brows furrowed as he held her, wracking his mind for what she could be talking about.
“You didn’t mean to? Wait…you’re not apologizing for… feeling good, are you?” She nodded sadly, forcing her eyes open and found his gaze with hers.
“I didn’t mean to cum, you didn’t even get a chance… I’m sorry.” Sam couldn’t help the laugh that escaped him and he clapped a hand over his mouth to stifle the noise.
“Fia-bia, absolutely not. The night is still young, are you okay to keep going?” A frown tugged at the corners of her lips.
“You’re not mad?” Sam sucked his teeth, shaking his head at her as he repositioned himself, hovering over her once again.
“No I’m not mad. I want you to feel good.” He mumbled, capturing her lips with his. She caught him off guard as she reached down and wrapped her hand around his length, slowly positioning him against her entrance. Sam broke the kiss, his eyes alight with concern.
“You’re sure?” He asked once more. She nodded gently, bringing her legs up and wrapped them around his waist.
Sam rested his forehead against hers as he slowly began to press forward. A gasp escaped them both as he easily slid into her, bottoming out and halting his movements. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck as she took a steading breath.
He moved slowly, setting a painstaking pace as he gauged her reaction, taking in her expressions as soft moans began to slip past her lips. His movements were calculated, one’s that would bring them both the pleasure they craved.
“Sammy, yes, please, yes.” She was a mess underneath him, her back arching as she writhed with pleasure.
He began to move faster, the sound of skin slapping against skin the only sound filling the air. Sophia was beside herself as she felt another band of pleasure begin to form in her stomach. Sam’s hips began to stutter, alerting her to how close he was to the edge and she reached down between their bodies, quickly rolling her fingers over her clit.
“Sophia, I… fuck, fuck, fuck.” A soft chuckle escaped him as he felt her clench around him, his name a song on her lips as she milked him; both simultaneously crashing into pleasure. Their breathing was labored as they both came down from their highs, soft giggles slipping past her lips as she peppered soft kisses to his cheeks. Sam pulled out of her slowly, his sweat soaked hair sticking to his forehead as he placed a soft kiss to her lips.

The Calm Before the Full Moon
The atmosphere in the old manor was a mix of warmth and tension. Sunlight streamed through the grand windows, casting patterns on the polished wooden floors, but the weight of unspoken worries hung in the air. Luna sat on the floor, surrounded by colorful toys, her attention fully absorbed by little Hope, who giggled as she batted at a plush bear.
“Look, Auntie Luna!” Hope exclaimed, her tiny hands reaching for the toy. Luna’s heart swelled with affection as she watched the little girl, her smile infectious. “Bear!” Hope squealed, and Luna chuckled, picking up the bear and handing it to her.
Meanwhile, Klaus paced nearby, his brow furrowed with frustration. “They don’t understand, Luna! All of them—their anger, their accusations—it’s all so misplaced.” He ran a hand through his hair, exasperated. “I’m the villain, the monster. I get it. But I did what I had to do to protect my family.”
Luna glanced up from her playful moment with Hope, sensing the storm brewing within him. She caught his gaze, her expression softening. “You’re not a monster, Klaus. You did what you thought was best.”
Klaus shook his head, his voice rising with emotion. “They hurt me, Luna! They cast me out for doing what I thought was right! And now, because of all this Dahlia nonsense, I can’t even protect my daughter properly.” He glanced toward Hope, whose laughter filled the room like music, a reminder of what he fought for. “She needs her mother too.”
A spark ignited within Luna, and she felt a sudden surge of determination. “I could break the curse on the wolves,” she said, her voice steady. “If I had a look at the spell, I could figure it out.”
Klaus paused, his anger subsiding momentarily, replaced by a flicker of hope. “You think you can do that?”
Without a word, he vanished, only to return seconds later, a worn parchment clutched in his hand. He offered it to her, and Luna took it, her heart racing as she began to study the intricate symbols and incantations.
As her eyes scanned the text, she felt the weight of the spell's history. “This will be different with me,” she began to ramble, her thoughts spilling out like an uncontainable river. “I’m not just any witch. I’m a scarlet witch. My powers… they’re unique. I can feel the magic in these words. It’s different when I channel it.”
Klaus watched her, his expression a mix of admiration and urgency. “Will it work?”
“Yes,” Luna said, looking up, her resolve firm. “It will work.” She glanced toward the window, where the sun hung low in the sky. “The next full moon is in a few days. I’ll definitely be ready by then.”
Just then, Marcel entered the room, curiosity etched across his face. “What’s going on in here?” he asked, glancing between them.
Klaus shushed him, his eyes narrowing playfully. “Shh! This is important.”
Luna shot Marcel a grin. “I’m going to help break the curse on the wolves,” she explained, her excitement palpable.
Klaus took a deep breath, launching into one of his signature explanations. “You see, Marcel, I’ve gathered some—” he paused, searching for the right word, “interesting intel regarding the curse. With Luna’s unique abilities, we might just have a shot at freeing the pack.”
Marcel raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile spreading across his face. “You really think she can do it?”
“Absolutely,” Klaus replied, pride evident in his voice.
The night of the full moon arrived, casting a silver glow over the land, illuminating the gathering of wolves outside the manor. Tension hung thick in the air as Luna stood before the assembled pack, the spell swirling in her mind like a tempest of power. The moonlight seemed to hum with energy, responding to her presence.
With a deep breath, Luna began the incantation, her voice steady and clear. The magic flowed through her, intertwining with the essence of the wolves, and they gasped as a brilliant light enveloped them. Gasps of shock echoed through the crowd, and Luna concentrated, channeling her energy into the spell.
As the final words left her lips, a wave of magic surged through the pack, breaking the curse. The air crackled with energy, and the wolves, astonished, felt the weight lift from their hearts.
Hayley stepped forward, her eyes wide with gratitude. “Thank you, Luna,” she breathed, her voice trembling with emotion. “You don’t know what this means.”
Luna smiled, warmth spreading through her at the sincerity in Hayley’s voice. “Klaus gave me the spell,” she said, glancing back at him.
Klaus, cradling Hope in his arms, exchanged a look with Hayley that spoke volumes. The tension from their earlier encounters seemed to dissolve, and they began to discuss their next steps.
As Marcel stepped forward, he enveloped Luna in a hug, lifting her slightly off the ground. “You’re amazing!” he exclaimed, his pride radiating toward her like the moonlight itself.
“It was nothing,” she replied, modestly shrugging off the compliment, though her heart fluttered at his words.
“Nothing? That was everything! You deserve to be spoiled,” Marcel insisted, pulling back to look at her earnestly.
Luna’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “Are we going to cuddle on the couch and watch Modern Family tonight?”
Marcel laughed, the sound rich and warm, as he pulled her closer. “Yes, definitely! I wouldn’t miss it for the world.”
As they stood together, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and family, Luna felt a profound sense of belonging. In that moment, under the full moon’s watchful gaze, she realized she had found her place among them—a protector, a friend, and a witch who could make a difference.

Timeless Wells- Extra (Flash)
“We’re connected.”
Your eyes open slowly, and you stare at the ceiling of your bedroom. A flash of your heated make out session follows, and you groan.
It’s been approximately one month since that incident, and you have successfully managed to avoid Harrison Wells. Truth is after you finally collected yourself from basically assaulting the man, you’d turn tail and run for the hills.
It was a cowardly move. But your mind would not give you the satisfaction of forgetting. Because in all honesty, it felt good. It felt great to hold him. Touch him, kiss him.
A complete and utter stranger.
The more you think about it, the more you think you’ll go crazy.
“Detective, we just got a call from the Central Bank. There’s been a robbery. “
Great, this was actually exactly what you needed to get your mind off the scientist.
“I’ll be right there.”
Grabbing your coat from the back of the chair, you head to work.
~Star Labs Later that Day~
“Do you agree, Dr. Wells?” He blinks at the woman in front of him.
“Could you leave the report on my desk so I can look over it?”
She nods eagerly.
“Of course sir! Please take your time and let me know what you think.” She placed the folder down, excusing herself. Despite his running thoughts, he smiles at the enthusiasm of the young scientist. He recalled when he was starting out. He emitted such energy and spark. He picked up the folder, flipping through.
“This is incredible.”
The schematics on the machine were flawless. He feels a bit disappointed. Had he been paying closer attention, he could have given the correct response and praise.
“I’ll have to do better when I return it.”
It was hard for him to focus. That much was clear.
His fingers ran across his lips as he ran through the events of that night. He didn’t imagine it. You kissed him. Not just a peck either. You’d planted the most earth shattering, reality altering kiss on his lips. Then you panicked and sprinted out like he was some kind of serial killer. Harrison deflated, sinking into his chair. He should have followed his gut and kept a distance.
“I got greedy.”
Why did everything have to get so messy? Life was supposed to be better now. Simple. But it wasn’t.
“Dr. Wells!”
His assistant came running in.
“Turn on your tv.”
He raised his head, reaching for the remote as he flicked it on.
Your face popped up on the screen, the headlines catching his attention.
“Star Labs Tech Recovered in Central City Bank Robbery.”
The interview continued as you gave specific details of what had gone down.
“Our evidence has led us to believe that this robber received tech from the previous attack on Star Labs. We are working diligently to ensure that all the stolen items are returned to the laboratory. Dr. Harrison Wells has been very cooperative and played a huge part in apprehending the criminals. We hope to continue working as one unit to prevent future crimes, thank you.”
You excused yourself and the anchor continued her broadcast.
“Detective Morgan is quite literally a hero. If reporters had gotten a hold of this story they would have no doubt spin a wheel and implicate us into the robberies. She single handedly protected our reputation. Your lawyers were on standby. I’ve been advised to improve security to avoid future issues. “
Harrison’s eyes are still planted on the television as his assistant continues to ramble. The little interview had given him a spark of hope.
~~~
“We’ve finished the reports, that’s the last of the materials. “
The lab techs took each device with thanks as you signed off for the items. You glanced at Harrison coming around the corner, his eyes immediately meeting your own. You nod to him, slipping away as you gesture to his office. He understood, following you down the hallway. When you got there, he moved, opening the door as you both entered.
You could feel the tension. From the look on his face, you could tell there was so much he wanted to say. But he settled for one statement.
“Thank you for coming to see me.”
“I didn’t have much of a choice. Your tech was found at my crime scene. It’s obvious that your previous thief had made some little devices of his own with your materials.”
Harrison felt responsible.
When you see the guilty look on his face, you finally drop your detective shield, lowering your arms.
“I’m sorry..about before and then..” You couldn’t finish the sentence.
‘It’s alright. You were scared.”
That wasn’t an excuse.
“I’m surprised that you didn’t press charges after what happened. “ You state.
“I don’t think that would be very fair.”
“If the roles were reversed it would have been the first thing I did.”
“Double standard.”
Harrison offers with a little grin.
You sigh. Visiting his office this time around was supposed to give you some kind of solace. A relief that nothing would happen. It was broad daylight. A part of you truly doesn’t want to believe what happened was real. Because it doesn’t make sense. So the logical part of your brain told you that it was time to face this rather than hide.
“None of this seems real. As much as I try to put it together, nothing adds up. So I need you to explain it all to me. If you are some kind of time traveler why are you here? Where did those powers come from?”
Harrison takes a seat at the front of his desk, crossing his ankles.
“If you want the full version, then the truth is I died. Some very brave men sacrificed themselves and I suppose as thanks, the universe allowed them to live on in me. Although technically they are gone, I can still feel what they were sacrificed for.” He rises from the desk.
“That is where my powers came from. The reason I’m here, well, it’s to be with you.”
“What..what does that mean? You make it sound like some cosmic plan but I have no idea who you are!”
“I know, I know.” He keeps at a distance.
“I…Before I died I had someone special. Someone who meant the world to me. That person was you. I came back to this exact timeline to be with you. Because of the shifts in time so much has changed, but you stayed the same. I just…I wanted another chance with the love of my life. So I selfishly came here to be with you. That’s all I wanted..”
He sounds so broken. It breaks your heart. From the sound of it, he could have gone anywhere. Be with anyone. But it’s clear that this version of you has some significance to you. Nevertheless, it feels almost wrong to try and take the place of someone he obviously cared for.
“I’m not that woman Harrison.”
He removes his glasses, running a hand through his hair. He expected this. Saw it coming. But it still hurts.
“My name is (Y/N) Morgan. It’s nice to meet you, Harrison Wells.”
He barely reacts at first, but when he looks up slowly, it’s one of astonishment of your outstretched hand.
“I have no intention of replacing that person you held so dear. Whoever she was, obviously she was an incredible woman. One I have respect for. What I would like is to get to know you better Dr. Wells.”
Your hand is still extended. The smile that radiates on his face is so vibrant. You can’t even explain how much it warms your heart. He takes your hand.
“Nice to meet you Ms. Morgan.”
He gives it a firm shake.
The Christmas Kids
Summery:
It's been four years since Craig Tucker stepped into South Park. After a nasty, one-sided breakup at sixteen with his long-term boyfriend, Tweek Tweak, Craig has been on a downward spiral with seemingly no end. With a new assignment from his therapist, Stripe #10 and enough medication to kill a small village, Craig is returning to the source of all his problems. Things have changed in South Park and some people don't know how to leave well enough alone. With new friends, old friends, and something in between, Craig just wants to disappear out of the lives of everyone
Parings: Craig/Tweek, Kyle/Stan, Kenny/Butters/Marj
“I dream of you in every waking and sleeping moment and its the sweetest and cruelest form of torture.”
Day one.
My name is Craig Tucker.
I’m twenty-two years old.
My therapist is making me do this assignment where I have to make an entry for a whole year. Three hundred and sixty-five entries. He told me that it was okay to skip a day or two if I forgot or didn't have the energy to write anything down. I don't mind this if i'm being honest, it's better than wallowing in my own self pity like I have been the last few years.
I think it would be rude to not introduce myself to you, even if you are just a leather bound book filled with empty space.
So.
My name is Craig Tucker and I'm depressed.
I was first diagnosed when I was sixteen when my boyfriend of six years broke up with me. Then a lot of stuff happened and I got the free upgrade of having MDD- major depressive disorder, a few years later. I’m gay, I’ve known since I was fourteen. You’re probably wondering, “Craig, how did you have a boyfriend for six years if you didn’t know you were gay until years after you started dating him?”
That, my friend, is the question, isn't it? I grew up in South Park, this fucked up little town in Colorado. The adults were insane, there was one fat kid who was a menace to society (his friends were too, I still hate them for Puru) and then there was Tweek.
Tweek Tweak was this neurotic little blond kid whose parents ran the only coffee shop in all of South Park.
We even fought once because of the fat kid I mentioned earlier. We’d played superheroes together (I was Super Craig and I beat the shit out of other kids, I loved it) and before we “dated”, we were doing some medieval shit with this new kid who farted. Like, a lot. It was a weird time.
Then the Asian girls started making yaoi fanart of us and the whole town had decided that we were gay, dating and that was that. We “broke up” shortly after and Tweek had decided to make me sound like a cheating bastard with some dude named Michael (srsly what the fuck, im still mad about that).
But I guess we just sort of stayed together after that. We fake dated for the town but we actually became really good friends and eventually the line between friends and being something more just… blurred. I was the only one who could calm him down and he was the only one I could stand touching me.
That's sort of my thing. My family never believed in coddling their kids and it was rare to be touched in a way that wasn't violent (I got into fights a lot) or those posed two second family pictures. I even remember flinching away from his touch in the beginning because it was so foreign.
I haven't let anyone else touch me since.
The thought makes my skin crawl, like having any one else’s hands on me but his made me want to throw up.
Sorry, I'm rambling aren't i? It's been a while since i've talked to anyone that wasn't the therapist.
I'm gonna be honest, book. I’m not okay.
I’ve been in love with my ex for nearly ten years and I don't know how to get over him. No one else clicks and a part of me is so, so tired of getting drunk and high to feel something other than misery and self pity that I just want everything to end. That sounds bad doesn't it? Who feels that way over some guy?
Everything feels heightened now because I'm going home to South Park for the first time in four years and I'm scared out of my mind. I was a complete mess that last year and a half of high school after Tweek broke up with me and I spent most of that time high, drunk or both on the first set of meds that made me feel numb enough that I could barely think and when i could, i was so fucking miserable i wanted to die.
If I'm being honest, I don't even know how I graduated. Despite what everyone thought about Kyle Broflovsky and Wendy Testaburger being the smartest in our grade, I had been on track to be valedictorian, which I hid from everyone as best I could. Sure, I had sucked at school when I was younger but the teachers had been able to tweak (ha, jokes) how I was taught and boom, smart as hell.
Honestly, I think my teachers felt bad for me and just passed the depressed gay kid who was dumped by his long term boyfriend for a fucking girl.
Ugh.
Book, this entry is making me want to jump so I’m gonna end it here. So see you for entry two, maybe I won’t be so miserable the next time we talk.
-Craig.
He flipped the book closed and flexed his fingers, which had cramped from the amount of writing he'd done. A part of him had almost felt bad for trauma dumping through the pages and immediately wanted to punch himself in the face because how fucking stupid is that? It's a book.
He hadn’t been lying as he wrote and he’d even felt like the slightest bit of weight had eased off of his shoulders for a moment. He looked around his barren dorm room and wished he could make time stop moving; graduation had come and gone and now he was heading back home to South Park for the first time in years. Apartments were too expensive in the city and he was completely wiped out from paying tuition.
So home it was. Tricia was about to be in her senior year of high school and he’d felt guilty for missing so many events the last few years. His mom was excited he was coming home and he had no doubt that every single miserable person in town knew the Gay Kid was coming back home.
Being out of the cold shadow of the mountains had done him good, his voice had finally let go of the lispy rasp he’d had for so long and he'd let his hair grow out so it stuck out from under his hat.
He looked towards the desk in his room and stood from his perch on the bed. Stripe #10 had been changed to his carrying case and he’d protested it, his angry weeks expressing just how he felt being in his tiny enclosure.
“Dude, chill. You’ll be in there for only a little longer and I’ll give you treats later.”
Stripe let out a huff in response.
“Don’t sass me young man, it's hard being a single mother dealing with your tantrums.”
Damn kids.
He shrugged his bag on and lifted the cage, leaving behind the dorm he’d occupied for so long. He left the key by the RA office and put Stripe in the front seat of his car, buckling him in and throwing the bag into the back seat.
“Don’t expect to see your deadbeat dad anytime soon bud, just because we’re going home doesn’t mean you get to see him.” He said to Stripe, who didn’t respond.
Teenagers are so ungrateful nowadays, he thought to himself and started the long journey to South Park.
