so this is like freshly post battle stuff cuz that’s really all i have worked out right now

ok so you already know what happens to gar gar and his arm arm 🤭

but don’t worry aph sees the whole thing happen, kills the shadow knight responsible (with 0 hesitation mind you) and manages to gather enough strength to heal his wound enough so that he won’t bleed out or be in so much pain. he’s still like… missing a hand tho… bummer-

dante almost dies… like real close. but gene swoops in a saves him then IMMEDIATELY books it outta there like he actually didn’t just do that

aphmau manages to kill shad for good. his knights are all IMMEDIATELY striped of their shadow knight abilities and after he’s gone the battle is swiftly won. most shadow knights are either killed or surrender, but some, like gene, get away.

zenix briefly reunites with garroth (mostly because the man just lost his hand and some of his arm and he wants to at least make sure he’ll be ok) but he doesn’t stay. he leaves to find gene.

laurance sobs bc hes finally free. hooray hooray!

eseryt immediately books it back to the town because earlier, before the battle ended, she had to get travis to the medbay. he’d jumped in front of a sword that was headed straight for her and it slashed his ribs. she wants needs to make sure he’s ok. (he is don’t worry)

a few hours later vylad walks off into the woods. laurance starts feeling and acting weird and then suddenly drops. OOPS now he’s in a coma!

yeah and eseryt? so is she! and vylad! they found him in the woods :D

cadenzas a mess because both her siblings are in comas and her fiancé just got killed in front of her..

few weeks later? laurance actually isn’t in a coma anymore yay!!! but he’s.. unwell… also he finally meets his daughter!!

someone says something about a weird hidden underground cave under barton, aphmau goes there and finds.. KUL’ZAK’s RELIC?!? wow that would’ve been helpful like a month ago..

anyway something in aphmau tells her to bring the relic to eseryt and WHOA it just fussed to her and… SHES ALIVEEEE

This was going to be a long day. Normally you and the others would be up and training by 6 am at the latest, or risk a worse punishment. Your group always had a schedule, each day, one of you would wake the others up and get started on breakfast. Yesterday it was your turn, the day before was Kuai’s, and today was Tomas’ turn. Or at least it was, until a certain someone overslept and forgot to wake the others up.

“They seem to be having fun In there.” Smoke says, as music and the sound of merry-making of the others floated through the hall.

“Could’ve been us, If all three of us hadn’t been late, Smoke.” Kuai grumbles. Tomas smiles and sighs, he had already admitted that he was at fault for your earlier mistake, but the Grandmaster wasn’t having any of it. You thought it was kinda funny at first, until he put you and Kuai on cleaning duty too.

“I still can’t believe he decided group punishment was a good idea.” You say. Even Sektor and Cyrax had been punished, and they woke up on time. “I still think Sektor is going to kill us.”

“Not if Bi-han gets to us first.” There's a noise of mutual agreement between the three of you, dreading what kind of punishment he was ready to deal out in secret. You shudder at the thought of last time your group did something Bi-han had a problem with. The boys had to Hold a ten minute handstand, with five more minutes added every time someone slipped or gave out. The only reason you were spared was because you had been away on a mission when it had happened. Kuai stops sweeping for a moment to stretch.

“Alright. I’m going to move down the hall. Keep an eye on smoke, would you? The last thing we need is another punishment.”

“Hey!” Tomas complains, pushing Kuai’s shoulder lightly as he passes by, leaving the two of you alone. It’s silent for a moment as you focus on the task at hand, before Tomas brushes up against your arm.

“Hey.” You side eye him, smiling.

“Smoke.” You say. Tomas frowns at the formality.

“You’re not mad at me too, are you?” You can't help but smile even wider, looking up at him.

“No. I’m not mad. But I will be, if you don't get to work.” Tomas’ smile makes your heart flutter and he picks his broom back up. A catchy tune starts playing in the other room, and you start humming along unconsciously. Thomas starts humming too, and wiggling around as he sweeps. Soon enough, he sets the broom against the wall and starts dancing in full. You roll your eyes, a little annoyed that he was getting off track, but the mood was too fun to ruin.

“Care to join me?” Tomas asks. You shake your head. You would not dance. Absolutely not.

“Tomas, I do not dance.”

“I guess I’ll have to make due then.” You smile and laugh as Tomas takes the broom from your hands, dancing with it while singing along with the drunkards next door. He was most definitely a silly fool at times, but that was just one of the things you loved about him. Tomas spins and dips the broom, making a show about holding it close and acting lovey with it, even leaning in to kiss the handle with an obnoxious “mwa!”. You’ve been smiling for so long your cheeks have started to hurt, and when he holds his hand out for you to take, you can’t help but want to join him.

“Fine!” Tomas’ smile could light up the room as you take the broom from him and set it to the side to take his hand. He twirls you and holds you close as you dance, just like he did with the broom. You’re giggling and laughing all the while, and he is too. He leans in and kisses your cheeks with that obnoxious noise again, and your chest hurts from laughing and giggling.

“Ahem.” In just a moment, you push Tomas off and throw yourself away from him. A mildly pissed Bi-han stands at the end of the hall, arms crossed. You blush furiously as you brush the wrinkles out of your clothes. Thomas rubs the back of his neck nervously as he quietly moves to stand next to you.

“Working hard, I see.” Bi-han says sternly. You shift away from his direct eye contact, looking at the floor instead.

“We were just a little distracted, it won’t happen again, I promise.” You say quickly. Tomas agrees next to you. Bi-han doesn't buy it.

“Kuai is going to be at the sparring grounds at 4 am tomorrow. I was going to tell you to be there at the same time, but I will see the two of you there at 2 am instead. Am I understood?” You and Tomas nod, both inwardly groaning. Tomas turns to you apologetically when Bi-han turns the corner.

“Sorry, I didn't mean to…” You ignore his sentence, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips and grabbing your broom, getting ready to move to a different hall.

“I’ll see you at 2.” You say, winking at him as you leave, Tomas’ flustered face was going to be something you wanted to see more often.

This isn’t funny!” “I’m sohorry!” After a few minutes, Noe was still giggling and Vanitas was starting to get annoyed. “Would you stop already?” Vanitas scowled at the giggling vampire. “I’m sohorry, it’s just that-” Noe was cut off by his giggles once again as Vanitas rolled his eyes with a fond but mischievous smile on his face. “Okay fine! I’ll give you something to laugh at then!” “Wait nO!” Noe was cut off by more giggles as Vanitas dug his fingers into his sides. “Vahanitahas nohohoHO!” “But I thought you wanted something to laugh at Noe” Vanitas responded with a teasy smirk. The vampire grew pink at the tease and his laughter raised an octave when Vanitas dug his fingers into his belly. “Awww is this a good spot huh~? Tickle tickle tickle Noe~” Hearing these words, Noe’s laughter increased a bit as he began to squirm more. “WAHAHAIT VANIHITAS NOHOT THERE!” Noe squealed as Vanitas gently brushed his neck and ears with his fingertips. Vanitas then drew a breath in and blew a raspberry on his neck while squeezing up and down his sides. “VANITAHAHAHAS NAHAHA STOHOHOP” Seeing that his friend was reaching his limit he slowed down to gentle tracing on his sides. “Yohou are mehean” Noe giggled, still recovering from the tickle attack. “You deserved it for laughing at me!” Vanitas sassed back as Noe finally caught his breath. “I still really like that Roland guy” Noe said with a sly smile. “You little-” And yet again Noe was reduced to helpless giggles.

“The forecast shows a very high chance of rain later tonight, some snow following shortly after. On Tuesday there is a 60% chance of hail, so make sure you’re prepared and that your homes and cars are protected.” The weather report comes through the TV

Bryce and Eliana were laid out on the couch, watching whatever was on at the time. It was early December and Boston was a winter wonderland. As energetic as Bryce is, there are days were Eliana convinces him to take a break. With his sister staying at a friends house for winter break, they got to do whatever they wanted around the house.

Yesterday, Eliana made Christmas cookies which were soon eaten up by.. you guessed it, Bryce.

The day before that, they had a dance party around the apartment with their Alexa playing the Christmas radio.

Most of the roads were shut down and Eliana’s family couldn’t come to visit for the holidays, and vise versa. Bryce made it a goal to make this Christmas one to remember despite the circumstances. He wanted to make everyday special, especially now while it leads up to Christmas.

Now, they had a binge watching day ahead of them and Bryce had an idea.

“Oooo, lets watch a Hallmark movie!” Bryce reaches to grab the remote but Eliana snatches it out of his hand.

“Absolutely not.” She said with her she’s wide and voice stern.

“Whyyyyyy...” Bryce whined like a puppy before plopping back on the cushion.

“Because hallmark is too sappy and cliché... you’ll give me PTSD from family holidays.” Eliana shudders making Bryce laugh.

“C’mon! Just one, if you don’t like it, I’ll go out and buy you a peppermint mocha!” Bryce gave her his best puppy dog eyes.

“Starbucks?”

“Duh.”

Eliana glances at him from the side.

“I’m in.”

Bryce cheers and snatches the remote out of her hands, making her laugh. He scrolls through their options and finds a classic Christmas movies titled “A December Bride”. after reading the description, Eliana raises her eyebrows at Bryce while he smirks and clicks the start button.

This was about and a girl who has to fake being engaged to her ex fiancé? Talk about drama.

After awhile, Eliana seemed to be pretty invested in the movie, making Bryce smirk of course.

The movies starts coming to an end after an hour or so and Eliana is curled up into Bryce’s side, trying to hold back emotions.

“Are you crying?” Bryce asks looking down at her. He tucks her into his side tighter and she nuzzles her head into his neck.

“....no.” She replies.

“Mhm... then what’s.... this!” Bryce points at the watery eyes and she sniffles.

Eliana was a very serious, independent individual. Even Hallmark movies can make the tough softies...

A couple minutes later the credits role on the screen and Eliana narrows her eyes at Bryce while he laughs.

“Not funny Bryce!” She smacks him with a pillow, only to realize what she started after Bryce returns the favor.

“You’ll never take me alive!” Eliana squeals and hops off the couch, grabbing soft defense weapons along the way.

Bryce chases Eliana around the room, desperately trying to grab onto her and win the war. But, alas, Eliana was like a really hard game of wack a mole and Bryce always missed.

After a minute, Eliana runs around the couch with her fuzzy socks gliding against the hard wood floor. When she turns, her feet slide out form under her and she falls on the pillows and blankets scattered out behind her. Bryce uses the opening to dive in the pile with her and tickle her under her arms, causing her to laugh and wiggle around.

“Gotchu!”

“Nonononono! Please!!” she laughs even harder and tries to fight him off but fails.

“What are you suppose to say...??” Bryce smirks.

“You’ll never take me aliveeee!!!” She repeats.

“Nope.”

He tickles her even more and after a few seconds she caves.

“Ok ok!! You win! You win!!” She squeals out.

“Why thank you.” Bryce plops down on the floor and catches his breath.

Eliana was still giggling, Bryce never failed to entertain her and make a game out of everything. She lays down beside him tries to slow her heartbeat and breathing.

“Wanna go to Starbucks together? We can walk since the snow has calmed down and it’s less than a block away.” Bryce suggests.

“That sound amazing right about now.” She smiles.

Eliana grabs one of Bryce’s hoodie from his closet, along with a pair of fuzzy boots and white sweatpants from her own. Bryce threw a beanie at her when she walked out of her room.

“Can’t have you catching a cold, Valentine!” He says, making her roll her eyes.

“Yeah yeah, let’s go you goof.” She grabs his hand after pulling her hat on, and together they walk out of the apartment.

BSD Chapter 77

SKYFALL (PART 4)

Omg I love this chapter sooo muchhh. Not only because it is one of the happiest chapters we have in a while, but also because things start to fall into place, and a lot of things are explained.

Both Japanese and English are not my native language (and to be honest I’m still so high after reading the chapter) so I may make some mistakes here and there. Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you spot any!

SPOILERS AHEAD

-          Lucy jumps towards Atsushi and used her ability to take him into Anne’s room. They successfully gets in, but Hawthorn has tied a blood thread to Atsushi right before that and get to the room with them. He shoots Lucy in the arm but is immediately caught by Anne and got pulled into the locked room.

-          While they feel relieved that they have caught Hawthorn, Ango instead tells them it is their total defeat, cuz they not only cannot save Sigma, but also got seen by the Hound Dogs as the allies of the terrorists (for attempting to save Sigma before). Everything has been planned by Fyodor all along and even Dazai cannot see through it.

-          Back to the cell where Fyodor is casually reading books, while Dazai seems shocked at what happens. Fyodor says he doesn’t do anything, just praying to God, and his prayers have been listened. Dazai figures out that even the casino is a bait, and asks Fyodor why he sets up for both ADA and the Hound Dogs to be there. Fyodor casually say that it would be more beautiful that way. Fyodor says that even though Dazai tries to turn around the situation, but God prefers perfection and harmony, so he has followed the God’s wish and added one more line to the page, that “no one will believe ADA’s innocent, no matter how many proofs they get”.

-          Meanwhile, Tachihara is gathering the terrorists’ data from the server when he finds an USB. He opens it and inside is a video of Atsushi speaking about the truth behind all the incidents (about the book, the page, how ADA is set up and everything). He got a call from Teruko at that time, asking if he finds anything, but after a moment of thinking, he decides not to tell Teruko about the USB and the video he saw. Teruko then tells him that the situation has got out of their hands. The terrorists plan to use currency as weapons so it has become an international matter. So she tells Tachihara to go back to Port Mafia and track down the location of the two ADA members that got away (Tanizaki and Kenji). Tachihara tells Teruko that he is not sure if he can act like a Mafia well, to which Teruko laughs out and says he is born to do infiltration mission. She reminds him of how he used to use his ability to get the secret information, and how he uses it to kill off the two Black Lizard members who tried to cover for ADA.

-          Tachihara has a flashback about him visiting Hirotsu and Gin after the incident. They still don’t know about his real identity and are both glad to know he is alright. They both say that their wounds are surprisingly light because the attackers do not hit their vitals at all. Tachihara tells them that he has to go and before leaving the room, he asks Hirotsu if Hirotsu thinks he is meant for the mafia. Both Gin and Hirotsu start to laugh.

-          We are back to jail where Dazai is laughing at Fyodor too. He says Fyodor doesn’t know a thing about God, that God doesn’t give a damn about “perfection” and “harmony”. We then see a flashback of Odasaku and Gide, when Dazai talks about how God is only good at uncertainty and irrationality. And that is the weakness him and Fyodor share. No matter how many plans they come up with, in the end they are still stuck in a jail at the end of nowhere. And the real ones to make the world turn, are the ones who are striving, crying, and bleeding in the midst of all that uncertainties. And with the strength of those souls, everything he and Fyodor can do is to watch.

-          Back to Tachihara’s flashback, Hirotsu laughs and tells him he is a mafia, in and out, a model that everyone in the Mafia should look up to. That is when Tachihara realizes that he doesn’t infiltrate the Mafia to avenge for his brother, but because he wants to become “something”. That’s why he doesn’t shoot Yosano. He hears Yosano saying sorry about his brother and gets all confused, like what in the world are the ADA. He then asks Hirotsu, if he thinks that ADA are really the terrorists. Hirotsu seems surprised and says maybe Tachihara has hit his head somewhere, because both him and Gin believe without a doubt that there is no way ADA could be the terrorists. And as a Mafia, Tachihara should know that too.

-          Back in jail, Dazai repeats what Fyodor said before about human being sinfully stupid, but adds that they are not as boring of an existence as Fyodor thinks.

-          Tachihara finally realizes that ADA cannot be the terrorists, no matter how he thinks about it. We can see in the background the image of the page being torn. (I assume that it is a sign that the spell of the book is somewhat broken here, as Tachihara, who should not believe ADA at all, finally comes to sense and decide to side with them)

-          In the last scene, Sigma is going to hit the ground when he notices Gogol waiting for him, alive, laughing, and saying its time for the magic of reviving the death.

And that is the end of the chapter. I had a lot of fun reading and translating it. And I’m so glad everyone is aliveeee!!!! Now I just need to see Kunikida…

I’m not abt to guesstimate the math it’ll make me spiral I’m sorry) woman and shut the tenth book closed and like. Sit there alone contemplating for a long time and maybe also cry. These books keep me aliveeee I’m barely even kidding! ⛈💎✨💝🌬🤍💙📖

2) audiobooks. I can close my eyes..... or multitask..... and still listen to books.... it doesn’t get dreamier than that..... 💭 Also the best ones sound like performances?? Love that 💓📚🎧 🎭

3) flowers. They just.... enhance and improve almost everything they touch 🥺💜🧡🌺🌸💐🌷🌼🌹🌻

4) texting. Basically like exchanging instantaneous casual letters is it not??? A lot of the best conversations I’ve had are over text, and w/o it idk if I’d be as in touch with people as I usually am 🤕📱

5) cooking/baking. One of the most common instances where following directions is easy and fun and pays off it’s such an ego booster also you get food out of it!🍴🤗🤠 and talking about recipes with other people.... pondering how to modify and improve them for any or no reason at all..... one of my favorite pastimes whdjsndn 📝🥘🍰

6) the beachhhh. No exaggeration, but I periodically regret getting up from every single beach ive ever been to. I mentally retreat to memories of said beaches all the time and it keeps me sane. 🏖💘🌊

7) contacts. I don’t think I look particularly bad with glasses tbh, but I’m more in love with my outsides than my insides and it’s so nice to have a way to see my face unobstructed in the mirror w/o getting so close I can’t actually see anything. I’m vain basically 😗✌🏽🤓

8) pomegranates. If you’ve ever had one I don’t need to explain u_u)/ lots of people complain about what an ordeal it is to peel them but it’s one of my favorite (almost meditative!) activities, and it’s the fruit I’m most obsessed with flavor wise❣️♥️❤️

9) earrings. Literally one of humanity’s best inventions ever. Like. You can be—you will be—sad sometimes that’s unavoidable but to have mini cherries or wings or whatever hanging from your ears while you do it? Best best best👌🏽🍒💋

10) traveling! Especially with NOT family!! Not that I haven’t had fun travels with family but the not-family members I’ve traveled with before are usually way more outgoing and EXCITED to be there!! The freedom is intoxicating and I usually feel more confident when traveling than I do in local places. If you wanna try something while traveling.... go somewhere..... usually you have no idea if you’ll ever get the chance again and for me that’s a huge motivator to just. Go for it. If you embarrass yourself despite your best efforts who’s gonna remember you? 🧳
