I need to see something before I establish the villain of my upcoming series 🤔
I might have side villains, but I’m not entirely sure on that decision. This series focuses on only four Genshin men while others will make appearances here and there. I’m still working on this fic. With how busy I am with school as I’m nearing my graduation, I probably won’t be able to post the new series until either close to my graduation or after it. This poll is created so I can see who is the preferred villain of the series before I make my final decision.
Q: Will the other Genshin men who make appearances in this series fall in love with the MC?
A: Most likely not.
Q: Who are the main love interests/pairings for this series?
A: Ayato, Al Haitham, Neuvillette, and Zhongli are the main love interests. There are no side love interests— even if there is one implied, that person will not be one of the “official” love interests for this series.
Q: What happens to Lumine since she’s not in the options of villains?
A: She’s still in the story, but she’s more of a side character doing her own thing.
Q: Why choose Lumine over Aether to be the good twin?
A: One of my friends chose Lumine over Aether, so Lumine is the one who helps MC adjust to the new world.
Q: Is this an Isekai’d fic?
A: Yes, but a it’s chaptered fic with plot unlike the other isekai’d series I’ve written in the past.
Q: Will this be posted on Tumblr and AO3 or only specific websites?
A: The first chapter will be posted on Tumblr, but the rest will be on AO3 because people on Tumblr don’t keep up with chaptered series. In the past, I’ve had people complained about the word count of my fics being way too long, so everything will be on AO3. The first chapter will probably be cut off at half of the actual word count. Unless it’s highly demanded to be posted on both Tumblr and AO3, the new series will be an AO3 exclusive.
#genshinluvr#a new series when I have other things to do yay#I’m not publishing the new series yet since I’m still working on it and I have school work to do#I want to write so many things but I don’t have the time for it because of school work 🥲

thought dump on new tfota book:
i think the reason that there’s going to be another jurdan book (supposedly) is mostly because Jude and cardan both have very unfinished stories.
you know that deleted scene at the end of qon where Jude and cardan are all sweet laying on the grass together? it was cut for a reason, and replaced w the epilogue in the mortal world.
In that epilogue, Jude herself hopes in her head that cardan won’t lash out at any humans. i always hated that part in her monologue, because it shows that Jude still doesn’t even really know the man before her.
it’s bittersweet that in their time outside of the series after qon, that maybe Jude learned why cardan wouldn’t lash out at humans. or maybe she’s yet to learn it in the new book.
but while i feel like there’s potential for them to do more, not just politically but with their relationship, some things are better left unsaid.
also, i don’t see the series being very romantically focused on Jurdan, only because miss black hasn’t really done that when it comes to her folk of the air series before. it’ll def be more politically driven.
i dreaded the publishing of the stolen heir and the prisoners throne because i worried that it would ruin Jude and cardan for me, and while that wasn’t the case, i still found myself unsatisfied with their story and how the entire family doesn’t really know each other.
don’t get me wrong, i do love family drama, but at the same time, Jude and cardan and oak and vivienne and Taryn have all endured so much trauma, I’d die for them to just be happy.
i assume the political problem will be the one i vaguely remember from the prisoners throne, the croin guy who hates orlagh and nicasia (can we blame him) and his evil sea buddies who attacked that ship oak and suren were on
Anyway i def think madocs dying in the next books, since it’s undersea based, and he had the queen of the undersea shot and whatnot, and while the ghost payed the price for that (sorta but not intentionally) i still think madoc is kicking the bucket.
Someone important is gonna die and i dread it.
on a lighter note, i really wish that miss black would pick up some of her older characters, not just for cameos. (Not gonna happen but i can HOPE)
i want to see Ben and severin, corny and Luis, Kaye and roiben, Val and ravus and their cute little troll babies. i want more info on the greenbriar line, on Val moren, on Locke even, his parents, on Jude’s parents, oriana, grima mog, anyone.
I’d especially like to see oriana and madoc finally have a relationship that isn’t based on obligation, one where there isn’t cute little Oakey pokey to take care of now that he’s grown. especially if it’s like scraps, like random interactions they have from someone else’s pov (idk i just think that’s so cute)
Lastly, all the hate im seeing abt jurdan potentially being the main focus for the next book is halfway understandable but also pretty sucky, as if oak and suren didn’t have their own duology after tcp trilogy. i can understand ofc not wanting them to be the main focus but slandering miss black over it is just rude, let her lock in and create another beautifully written fantasy world with complex characters.
also we know pretty much nothing. what the author said doesn’t even automatically confirm it’s going to be a jurdan book, but conclusions have already been jumped to and half the fandom is super excited and the other half hates the thought of jurdan getting another story.
edit for whoever sent that ask: of course it’s fine to not want them to be the center of the book! i agree, but yknow what they say: “you get what you get and you don’t get upset!” so maybe let’s not say mean things abt the author because that’s not very nice, if you’re gonna criticize, criticize the work and not the creator?
anyway idk i have 0 motivation to post anything decent hence why i haven’t posted an analysis in about 162948392 years only because I’m basing it on my reread and that’s going super poorly bc I’m taking a torturous precalc class

“I think that’s the last of it,” I wiped my hands on my thighs, not yet used to the California heat. Natasha, my god send in cut-off sweats, passes me a cold beer, sitting on the edge of a box.
“I’m so glad you’re finally here, Daisy, It’s been impossible being surrounded by the asshats in my squadron.” Ah yes, the infamous dagger squad. Natasha had shared a little bit (or a lot) about each member of her team, leaving out any of the classified details of the mission that had brought them all together except for the fact it had led to permanent assignment for all of them. “When I told them my friend was moving in, they were chomping at the bit to see a picture of you.” My eyes cut to her, taking a long swig of my beer.
“And what picture did you show them?” As best friends since college, there were a lot of embarrassing pictures Natasha had access to that outweighed any of the hot ones on my Instagram. Natasha refused to meet my eyes, my heart sank. “Please tell me it wasn’t the one from-”
“It was.” Nathasha confirmed my worst fears with a proud smile. “You’d be surprised how well it worked for them. I told you, those Tweety Bird shorts- hey!” She rubbed where I punched her shoulder. The photo in question was me, drunk as a skunk, leaning over a frat house toilet while I puked my guts out. It had been a pajama party and my Tweety Bird pants had been cropped to show the entirety of my ass.
“You’re the worst, I’m never meeting your friends. You’ll have to suffer the testosterone alone.”
“Noooo,” Natasha whined. Rolling my eyes, I focused my energy on unpacking.
Surprisingly, I didn’t have a lot of boxes. Packing up my entire life had mostly been packing up my books and pajama pants that I wore for every occasion except weddings and funerals. My agent supported the move, saying that military novels were all the rage right now in the romance and crime communities, and he was hoping I would take advantage of my new situation for my next series.
I was one of the lucky authors, I had gone from self-publishing to being picked up by a moderately sized publishing house, my books taking off more than in my wildest dreams. My best-selling series was a 1920’s lady detective, followed by a hard-nosed New York cop hunting a serial killer. Despite this, my agent wanted me to take a swing at a smutty romance novel to capitalize on the buzz around them but I was hesitant.
“Have you forgiven me yet?” Natasha yelled from downstairs, “I ordered pizza!”
“Pepperoni?” I shouted back, getting an affirmative answer. “I forgive you!” My growling stomach marched me downstairs despite the few boxes still needing to be unpacked in my room. Tasha couldn’t cook, much to her mom’s disappointment, and lived solely off of cup noodles and takeout, something I planned to change the moment I could get to a grocery store.
Tasha was curled up on the couch, the pizza box and two fresh beers on the coffee table. I took my spot beside her, grabbing a greasy slice.
“We’ve got to decorate your place, Tasha. It’s depressingly bare.” Natasha shrugged, putting on some shitty action movie. “You’ve lived here for six months.”
“I didn’t expect it to be a permanent assignment and then I didn’t know where to start.” I rolled my eyes, opening Amazon and adding an insane amount of decor to the cart as we ate in comfortable silence. If this was going to be home, it was going to be cozy. No matter how much my bank account cried.
It took a week but the apartment was finally starting to feel like home. The brown couch now had throw pillows, there was art on the walls, and rugs on the floor. Everything was calming shades of brown, green, and cream, and there were string lights in every room that could be turned on instead of the overhead lights.
Tasha: Bringing some friends over for dinner - that cool?
I rolled my eyes, she was lucky I always cooked enough to feed an army.
Daisy: Sounds good. Get more beer.
Tasha: Already got it, babe.
I grabbed two more of the new placemats and finished setting the table. Tonight’s dinner was an authentic lasagna, garlic bread, and salad - it truly was far too much for just the two of us. Once everything was laid out of the table and I had myself a glass of wine, the door opened.
“It smells fucking delicious in here,” A man in an extremely loud button down exclaimed, followed by a boyish man with glasses who nodded in agreement. I snorted with laughter, drawing their attention. “And you are beautiful.”
“Nice to meet you too, Rooster. Hi, Bob.”
“Hi, ma’am.” I cringed,
“Daisy, please. Now why don’t the three of you wash up and then we’ll tuck in.” The boys, who had clearly been here before, took off for the bathroom while Phoenix shook her head, putting the case of beer on the counter.
“They’re ridiculous but they’re right, you and dinner are both delicious.”
Dinner went by with little conversation, the three pilots hungrily devouring the food in front of them so fast I was surprised they hadn’t passed out from lack of oxygen.
“Rooster, you have a roommate, right? I’ll make a plate for you to take home for him.”
“Hangman will be fine but I’ll take a plate for work tomorrow, honey.” I rolled my eyes,
“Tasha, text Hangman I’m sending home food for him and he’s to tell me if Rooster eats it. Bob, do you have a roommate?”
“No, ma’am - I mean, no, Daisy.”
“Then I’ll pack you something for lunch, there’s plenty - and yes, Tasha, you’ll have enough for lunch too.”
“Sweet!”
“Thank you, Daisy.”
“You know, once you meet, Hangman you’re not going to send him food anymore.” Phoenix and Bob laugh with him,
“I warned her about Bagman but Daisy’s sweet as can be. She’d give a cannoli to her worst enemy.”
“You’re wrong,” I wrote a quick, little note on Hangman’s box. Natasha gives me a uh huh look before I finish, “I would never share my cannolis.”
X
Phoenix: Daisy’s sending dinner home with Rooster for you - he’s going to say it’s for him, don’t believe him
Confusion wrinkled my brow as I tried to recall knowing a Daisy. It took a minute but eventually I remembered Phoenix talking about her new roommate. She had cooked dinner? Besides Bob, no one in the squadron knew how to cook much, if at all. So a home cooked meal would be the best part of my day.
Hangman: Tell the little lady thank you
Phoenix: Tell her yourself, she’s coming to the Hard Deck tomorrow even if I have to drag her kicking and screaming
I chuckle, refocusing on ironing my uniform for tomorrow. I even take pity on my roommate and iron his, not wanting to hear him crashing around the apartment bright and early trying to do it in the morning.
“Hagman, have you eaten?” Rooster called out, slamming the front door shut. There was not a single subtle thing about that man. Not his clothes, his flying, or his mannerisms.
“No but I heard you brought me something.” When I reached the kitchen Rooster was standing there, staring at the container of food. “Is that for me?”
“She even wrote you a note. She’s perfect, man. Funny, pretty, cooks well.” He slid me the still-warm container with a pink note sticking on the top. There was a hangman doodle with the note.
E N O Y H N E Y
“This is the best lasagna I’ve ever had.” Rooster nodded, passing me a beer. “I’ve got to meet this girl.”
“Try not to scare her off, bud. Or else she’s going to stop feeding us.”

Hey, Lost hope u doing good, I'm just a like a half-year-old eruri and I love them so much with all my heart canon or not but there has been a thing lately I've come across many people saying eruri is dead even among eruri fandom. Since the end of Aot' final ofc it' not same but as someone who reads eruri a lot, and wants to write too, it's making me lose my enthusiasm. I really would want to keep it going but it weighs on my mind heavily. Would want ur expert opinion, is it really dead?
Hey Anon, welcome to the fandom! Please don’t be put off by people proclaiming that Eruri is dead, people have been saying this ever since Midnight Sun was published in 2016, and yet the fandom is still thriving. We’re still getting official art, we have an astonishing number of amazing artists and the number of Eruri fics on AO3 is increasing every day. Having said that, all fandoms have peaks and troughs that follow canon media cycles and the Eruri fandom is no different from any other fandom in that respect. It’s to be expected that some people will move on when a beloved character dies, or a series ends, but that doesn’t mean the fandom will die out altogether. Far from it! It can actually be quite freeing for a fandom when the canon media comes to an end as it gives you free rein with the characters. (Not that transformative works ever have to be bound by canon of course.)
In terms of the Eruri fandom, many fans did leave when Erwin died, others drifted off during the Marley Arc, and when the manga or the anime ended. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that a lot of new fans are coming to the fandom via fanworks rather than the canon media which I think bodes well for the longevity of the fandom, though it can lead to some "interesting" characterisation.
It’s also understandable that fans get attached to “their” fandom; the chapters that were published, the episodes that were airing, the popular artists and writers who were active when they first joined the fandom. It can be really sad when those people move on, and it can feel a bit as if “your” fandom is dying, even if new fans are discovering the ship all the time. I’m no different in that respect, I still get nostalgic for the Eruri fandom c. 2016, the intense highs and lows, the outpouring of creativity, the amazing friends I made at that time. However it really bugs me when I hear people saying things like “the fandom died when X artist or Y writer left” because that does a massive disservice to all other artists and writers who are still active in the fandom.
I think there’s also something to be said about some fans increasingly treating fandom as content to be consumed, rather than a community to contribute to. Once they’ve consumed all the “popular” content, they declare the fandom is dead and move on, rather than actually contributing something creative themselves. Fandoms thrive on collective creativity and their longevity depends on having an active community rather than one or two big name fans, writers and artists.
Anyway, all this is to say, just ignore the killjoys and enjoy this amazing fandom. Enjoy all the gorgeous fic and art by the incredibly talented writers and artists that have come and gone over the last ten years, and support the new writers and artists who are creating equally amazing work.

Afterglow
(Musician AU Part 5)
Pairing: Steve Rogers x reader
Summary: After Steve made a bad decision he tries to apologize and get you back but can you forgive Steve?
Word Count: 2270
A/N: This is officially the last part of this AU with Steve! I'm sad to post the last part because I really enjoyed writing this AU but who knows maybe we will read about them again. I hope you all enjoyed this series and of course the final part!
I chose Afterglow as the titel of this part because I think that this song from Taylor Swift has a few lyrics that fit very well with it.
Divider made by @firefly-graphics .
Part 4 | Part 5
Masterlist | Musician AU
It’s been a week since Steve published your song without asking or telling you. You haven’t spoken to him or seen Steve since you yelled at him that night. Steve tried calling and texting you a few times, but you never picked up or looked at his messages. You were so mad at him but also sad because he stole your song. You had known Steve long enough to know that he would never do anything without a good reason, but you needed your time to think about it.
You didn’t want to spend another day alone in your apartment and decided to go to Romanoff’s bar to visit Yelena at work. After the bodyguard Alexei let you in, you went straight to the bar to talk to your friend. Yelena greeted you with a smile and then you talked for a while.
“Have you listened to the song?” Yelena asked.
“No, I…can’t.” You answered. You really haven’t listened to the song yet. Every time it came on the radio, you quickly put on something different. But you saw the fan reviews and saw that the people love The Midnight Rockers’ new song but you couldn’t listen to it, you just can’t.
“You should hear the song Y/N. You really should.”
“You like it?” You nervously asked her.
“It’s so good Y/N, they did such a good job in recording your song.” You talked for a while until you decided to drive home. When you got home you couldn’t stop thinking about what Yelena said. So you sat down on your couch, opened YouTube and clicked on the new Midnight Rockers song. The melody started and you couldn’t believe it. With every lyric they sang, the song got better and better. You could hear drums and a guitar in the background. You knew what part of the song was coming next, and when you heard Steve singing it, a tear ran down your cheek. This lyric means so much to you and you still can’t believe that so many people heard your song. When the song ended, you played it again and then looked through the comments.
“I.love.Steve” commented “OMG this song is so good. I love Steve’s part so much!!”
“Samsgirl” commented “Why does Sam only have one solo part??? But good song though.”
“BuckyBarnesStan” commented “Why is this so good?!”
“Bartonfan” commented “This is such a masterpiece!”
You were smiling, but the last comment remined you of what Steve did. The fans and Yelena were right, the song sounds really good, but that doesn’t mean you can forgive Steve right away, but you also don’t want to lose him again.
You sat there for a while until you heard a knock on your door. You got up and walked to the door. When you opened it, you saw Bucky standing there.
“Hey, Y/N.”
“Hey, Buck.”
Bucky came over and tried to convince you to talk to Steve or at least let Steve talk to you. He said how sorry Steve was and that he never wanted to hurt your feelings.
“I’m not sure if I can forgive him so easily.” You said after a while.
“I can totally understand that, but just think about what I said, okay?” Bucky asked and you nodded. You hugged Bucky as a goodbye and then thought about what he said.
It’s been two days since Bucky visited you. And well, he was right, you should listen to what Steve has to say to you, especially if you don’t want to lose him again. You walked around the room, trying to think of an idea what to do.
Should you just call him? Or maybe drive to his apartment? But if he’s not there, what then? Maybe you should text him?
Yeah, that’s a good idea, you thought and clicked on his number, trying to form a good sentence but you immediately deleted everything you wrote. You were just typing your next idea when you suddenly received a message from Yelena.
“Turn on your local radio!”
You were about to ask her why when another message came through.
“Don’t ask why, just do it.”
You chuckled and then did as your best friend said. When you turned the radio on, a song was playing. After a few lyrics you had to smile because that was one of the songs you and Steve used to listen to when you were in high school. The next song came on and again it was one that reminded you of a moment with Steve and you had to smile. The third song that played was the first song that Steve and the band covered in high school and played for you. You looked out the window and then noticed that it was starting to rain and heard the rain splashing against the window. Then another song came on, one by the Midnight Rockers. One that Steve told you is about you.
"For most of you these were just a few random songs, but for Steve from Brooklyn these songs have a special meaning to him and also to someone very close to him. So, here is Steve who has a message for this special girl." You sighed and a slight smile grew on your face. That must be your Steve.
"Hey love. I'm not sure if you’re hearing this now, but if you are, I want you to let you know that I'm so sorry and I regret that I did that. I hope you can forgive me one day. And if you want to talk to me, please just call me."
The message ended and you didn't have to hesitate. You pulled out your phone and dialed Steve's number and it only took a few seconds for Steve to answer.
"Hey, Steve."
"Hey." He softly said.
"I'm so sorry." You both said at the same time and then chuckled.
"You first." You said that again at the same time, making you blush. You stayed quiet for a moment, waiting for Steve to talk.
"I'm so sorry for what I did. Please let me explain it to you."
"Maybe you should come over. It's better to talk about it in person and I‘d like to see you too." You suggested.
"Then you should go to your door because I'm already outside of your apartment." You had to smile, but then you remembered that it was raining outside.
“Steve, it's raining."
"I know, so would you please come down and open the door for me." You opened your apartment door and ran down the stairs. When you got to the front door you could hear that it was raining quite heavily. So you quickly opened the door and saw Steve standing in the purring rain. You just looked at each other and it felt like the time stopped for a moment. Coming back to reality, you grabbed his hand and pulled Steve inside.
"Hey." Steve said and smiled.
"Hey, come on let's go upstairs to my apartment where it's warm." You said and you both walked up the stairs to your apartment. When you reached your apartment, you opened the door and walked inside. You looked at Steve who was standing there completely soaked from the rain.
"Oh, Steve, how about you change into some other clothes and then we can talk?" You suggested and Steve nodded. Steve followed you into your room and watched as you picked out some fresh clothes that he had left there a while ago. As you handed it to him, your hands touched and both smiled at each other. You went into the living room and sat down on the couch while Steve put on some fresh clothes.
After a while Steve entered the room with new clothes. He smiled slightly at you and then sat down next to you. You were looking at each other and silence began to grow. Steve took a deep breath and then decided to tell you everything.
"It all started when I had no inspiration for a new song. Tony, my manager, was getting on my nerves and then when I wrote one and he didn't like it, I remembered your song and how good it is. How much people would like it and how much I love it..." He paused for a moment, considering how to say the following things.
"Then I kind of panicked and took a picture of it, composed the melody to it and showed it to Bucky, Sam and Clint. They all liked it and so did Tony. I know it wasn't right, but in that moment it seemed like my only choice. I'm really sorry. " You were sorry and sad that Steve couldn't talk to you about it.
"Why didn't you tell me how you felt?" You asked him and he looked at the floor.
"I'm not sure."
"But I want to do this right. I want to tell it Tony and if it's okay for you then I I’ll announce that it wasn't me who wrote it, but a very talented woman." You reached for his hand and smiled at him.
"Is it okay if I think about it and then tell you?"
"Of course, swe-" Steve held back from saying “sweetheart” because of the argument you had the last time he wanted to say it.
"You can say it, honey." You said, making Steve smile.
"I missed you so much, sweetheart." Steve finally said it again. You placed your head on his shoulder and sat there for a while. You thought about what he said and if he should tell the world that you wrote the song.
After a while you looked up to him, held his cheek and kissed.
"I forgive you, honey. I know you didn't want to hurt me, but I won't forget it anytime soon." Steve sighed but nodded.
"That's okay and I understand that. I'm just glad to have you back."
"Me too." You said, laying your head back on his shoulder.
A week passed and almost everything was back to normal. Steve was back in your life, and you spent a lot of time with Bucky, Sam and Clint. Steve told Mr. Stark, his manager, about the song, your song. You still haven’t decided if you want the world to know, but after thinking about it and talking to Yelena and also Bucky, you’ve decided to tell Steve what you think he should do.
The movie you were watching ended and you laid there cuddling with Steve for a while.
“Stevie?” You looked up after a while.
“Yes, honey.” Steve smiled at you.
“I …I think I want the world to know that I wrote this song.”
“Are you sure?” Steve asked and you nodded.
“Okay, then I’ll tell Tony tomorrow. If that’s okay?”
“That’s okay.” Steve smiled at you and then kissed you softly.
When Steve got home from the meeting with Tony, he was really excited and said that his manager wants to meet you. You were nervous, but then agreed to come to a meeting with Steve. The other band members of the Midnight Rockers were also there and gave you comforting smiles.
The meeting started and Tony greeted you and after a while he finally said why he wanted you to come to the meeting.
“As we know, all the fans love your song and so do we. And I was wondering if you have a few more songs?” You got nervous and Steve took your hand and gave you a smile.
“Yeah, I have some more.” You said and Tony nodded.
“They’re all very good too.” Steve suddenly said and Tony nodded again.
“When Steve told me this song wasn’t his or the other members’, I came up with this idea.”
“What if you were the new co-writer of the Midnight Rockers?” He said and you let his words sink in. You as a co-writer that would change so much! But it would be a great chance…people would hear your songs. You would work together with Steve, Bucky, Sam and Clint.
“Of course, you can think about it first.” Tony said.
“No, I don’t think I have to.” You said and Tony nodded, thinking that would be a no.
“That’s okay.”
“Because I would really like to be the new co-writer of the band.” You said, seeing that Steve had a proud smile on his face just like the boys.
You signed a paper and talked about how the band would tell the fans about it. After talking for a while, they all agreed to make a video on Instagram where they say that the new song was written by their new co-writer, who also happens to be Steve’s girlfriend.
From that moment on a lot changed for you and also for the band. You had a press conference with them as their new co-writer. Then you had to quit your job and started writing songs with Steve and sometimes professionally with the others.
There were days when you and Steve would lie on the floor with papers and the guitar, trying to write a new song, or you would go to places where you could both find inspiration. You laughed and enjoyed so many great and funny moments together and were always so happy when you finished a new song. Seeing them record your songs and then sing them in front of an audience made you so happy. Steve is so proud of you and you are proud of him.
You had such great moments together and it was just the start of the beginning.

ok locked tomb fam, we’re getting closer to october and the original release date for Alecto, and i’ve been seeing an uptick in anxious/aggravated fans in the tags wondering when we’ll get any new info. waiting is very hard, i feel it too, so i wanted to share some things i have gleaned about publishing through a masters degree and a decade of bookselling!
the book is not coming out in october. the marketing would have started months ago if it was—and there’s no way that the final book in a series as on the radar as TLT would have less marketing than the previous books did. the galley isn’t out there yet either, as far as i’ve seen. i think a fall or winter release is extremely unlikely at this point.
book publishing, for the most part, is not willy nilly. marketing has to thread the needle between starting too early (risking losing the attention of the casually interested) and starting too late to build a good buzz. release dates have to take into account what other books are coming out at the same time—not just what Tor is putting out, but likely what their parent company, macmillan, is putting out. i know this is capitalism at work, but this is the system we live in: they don’t want similar or similarly big books in the same company or imprint competing with each other, it can hurt sales all around.
Tamsyn said in an interview back in december ‘22 that Alecto was written, but editing had not begun yet. editing takes a lot of time, and marketing steps are frequently linked up—announcing a release date hinges on how close the book is to being ready, especially since the original release date is no longer applicable, and getting books ready for print takes a lot of time and a lot of steps!
the biggest times of year for book releases, especially highly anticipated books, are Oct/Nov before holiday shopping starts, and Mar/Apr/May. obviously that’s not true for every book, but this is a big book for Tor, and big books get better spots in the release calendar. if i had to make an educated guess, i would wager Alecto will probably come out in spring ‘24, and we won’t start to see announcements or marketing until after the official release of the Nona paperback on Sept 12. again, this is sales driven: news about Alecto could muddy the waters for the Nona paperback and impede sales, especially since there’s new content in there. i think it’s likely we’ll hear something a little later in the fall.
i’m not as plugged into publishing as i used to be, so i am fully prepared to be wrong about any of this—it’s just assumptions based on what i’ve experienced of the book industry.
either way though, a point i want to make is that nobody at Tor is witholding information from us maliciously. there are a million moving parts in making and marketing a book (and i’m sorry, but huge Hollywood movie releases that are topically resonant but not actually related do not have any effect on publishing schedules). most of those moving parts are human beings: Tamsyn, trying to tie up the series under enormous pressure, still during a pandemic; her editor, who has other books to edit at the same time, and surely wants to do this work justice; Moira Quirk, hopefully, bringing her genius to recording the audiobook; copy editors, designers, marketing people, all of whom are people, many of whom are overworked and underpaid in an industry that is largely not unionized.
they’re not trying to fuck with us. i understand where these impulses come from, but getting angry, begging, pestering, none of that is going to change the plain fact that you can’t market a book until you have an almost-ready book, and Alecto is one that Tor will want to put the best tactics and timing behind. be patient a little longer. fuck corporations and capitalism, but have empathy for the individuals who will put Alecto in our hands from within a very flawed system. Tor has a long and successful history in speculative fiction publishing, they know what they’re doing.

So we still have a little over 1,5 months left of this year, but the lovely @readthelastpaage asked me what were the best books I read/translated this year, so... here you go. I left out my rereads and highlighted the ones I translated in blue. It's a... pretty mixed bag, I think.
R.F. Kuang: Yellowface After Athena (young and brilliant Chinese-American author) dies in an absurd accident, her “friend” June (struggling white author) steals her nearly finished manuscript, works it over, and publishes it under her own name. Chilling tale about guilt and the publishing industry ensues.
Rebecca Ross: Ruthless Vows I needed to includes this because of reasons. The second of Divine Rivals, a story of two, well, rivals falling in love through letters sent by a magic typewriter, while the war of the gods rages around them. Simply beautiful.
Jeff Bishop: A Heavy Dose of Allison Tandy High school senior Cam dated Allison Tandy, the girl he is still obsessed with, for years before they broke up just before new year’s. Three months later Allison was in a car crash and has been in a coma ever since. Only when Cam gets some heavy painkillers after his knee surgery, he starts seeing Allison, and the girl is determined to get him to move on. Is it just the drugs, or does Allison really appear to him?
Naomi Alderman: The Power When girls suddenly start developing shocking (literally) powers worldwide, the order of the world and gender relations start to change. Not necessarily for the better. Chilling dystopic observation of gender dynamics.
Emilia Hart: Weyward Stories of personal trauma and abuse through three women and several centuries, with a touch of magic. Brilliant book, but beware, there are a lot of triggering stuff her (detailed description of domestic abuse, rape, basically at home abortion…)
Lora Beth Johnson: Goddess in the Machine/Devil in the Device Andra, along with her whole family, was meant to be one of the million people to colonize a new planet, but when she comes out of stasis, she is all alone in a strange new place, where the remains of technology are hailed as magic and she is believed to be a goddess. The language of this duology is insane–the author basically came up with a whole new dialect.
Jennifer Lynn Barnes: The Inheritance Games series When financially struggling Avery is informed that a Texan billionaire left all of his fortune to her, instead of his family–with whom now she needs to live together for a year–, she suddenly finds herself surrounded by dysfunctional family dynamics, heaps and heaps of dirty secret, and a bunch of puzzles and mysteries. I read the whole series this year, and although I’m not yet totally on board with The Grandest Game, this series is just fabulous.
Jodi Taylor: Just One Damned Thing After Another First book in chronicles is the St. Mary’s institute, where historians travel back in time to study the important (and not so important) event of history. British humor, some darker themes, and a bunch of chaotic energy.
Margaret Rogerson: Sorcery of Thorns I won’t be able to give a proper summary here, but books and magic and demons and adventure and books and romance, oh my. Or Elizabeth, who spent her whole life in a library full of magical books that might attack you at any moment, gets tangled up in a scheme that might bring on the end of the world. Which she and her allies need to prevent, obviously. There is also a sequel novella, which is mostly just a fluffy epilogue, but it’s just so nice.
Holly Jackson: A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder British teenager Pip needs to do a special project for her last year of high school, and she chooses to examine the effects of a murder that happened in her sleepy little town a few years back – only what she really wants is to find the real killer, because she’s convinced that the police got the wrong guy. I absolutely loved the whole mystery and the multimedia nature of the book. (I know that there is apparently a version of this where it all takes place in America, which that sounds odd to me? It was so quintessentially British.)
Hannah Bonam-Young: Out on a Limb Win was born with an underdeveloped hand, but she doesn’t let is to slow her down. However, after she gets into a one-night stand with Bo, who lost a leg to cancer, at their mutual friends’ Halloween party, she ends up pregnant, so she and Bo decide to give this whole co-parenting thing a chance. Just a really nice feel-good romance story, made even more authentic by the fact that the author has the same hand issue as Win.
Taylor Jenkins Reid: Daisy Jones & the Six Story of a fictional seventies rock band told through a series of interviews done decades after the events. Intriguing tale of music, drugs, and personal dynamics.
Hannah Grace: Daydream I know that Hannah Grace’s work is kinda controversial (some love it, some think it trash), but I’ll always defend her, because of her works are very much pro-mental health and pro-cutting out toxic pieces of shit out of your life. And she is getting better with each book and she really did find something with this one. Sweet slow-burn romance with heavy emphasis on mental health.
Kristen Ciccarelli: Heartless Hunter This is what I’m reading/translating now, and although I’m only halfway through, I’m in absolutely brainrot over this. In a world where witches once reigned and now are being hunted, Rune, shallow socialite by day, secret witch saving vigilante by night, decides to try and seduce witch hunter Gideon to get some information out of him – only Gideon pretty much has the same plans to prove that Rune is that witch saving vigilante he’s been hunting.

Summer is here. While much of the USA has already experienced exceptionally hot temperatures, this coming weekend brings that weather to where I live. I'm set up just fine for it, but it will still be hot.
I ended up skipping writing a State of the Thatcher Address in June. The start of the month was busy and by the time I had time to write one, the month was over halfway over. But now it's July and I'm definitely not missing it this time. I feel like the image I selected for this month is a good summer image. She dressed for the heat.
This is also a good time to mention that my writing goals in the past two months did not always happen, especially when it came to my fantasy writing. I've also tried a few new things recently, which I hope readers have enjoyed. More about what to expect this month further down.
A quick reminder that you can find my books on Amazon, Smashwords, Google Play Books, Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, and Everand. You can also read everything I’ve published under my Sadie Thatcher name since last May on Ream, which is a subscription platform built specifically for authors. You can check out my Ream page below.
Ream: https://reamstories.com/sadiethatcher
And speaking of Ream, I have a Ream exclusive novel called The Muse (extreme dollification) that is now complete. I’ve made the first three chapters available for free. All you have to do is sign up as a follower at the link above to get a taste of my first real story that is too extreme for Amazon. I'm thinking about writing another Ream exclusive, but I haven't had any ideas for it yet.
I also post the occasional bit of flash fiction for followers on Ream. I have one up already and plan to post another one this week. As soon as I’m inspired, I’ll add a new mini-story to Ream.
On the Libby Feron front, my fantasy writing has stalled. I have shiny object syndrome. I keep getting new ideas that distract me before I can finish anything. My current novel plan is to write a fantasy novel with time travel and that is heavily inspired by Cinderella. But with the time travel element, I need to get multiple timelines figured out before I begin writing. Hopefully soon. Since I don’t talk about my fantasy writing often, checking out https://libbyferon.com/ and signing up for the email newsletter is the best way to stay informed. At some point, there will be a free novella offered.
Now it’s time to talk about what to expect this month. First, I just released the first story in the Bimbo Religion Series. The first book is about the beginning of this new religion. The second book will be about getting an influential person to adopt it. The third book will be about converting an entire town. That third book will also include a return to Bimboton, which showed up in a Christmas story from a few years ago.
I also have a series in the works that will include rewriting people's lives to bimbofy them. This will be a classic three bimbos in three books series, which was my original bread and butter. It should be fun.
And finally, at the end of the month I will be introducing a series that is inspired by the Olympics called The Bimbo Games. Actually, I got the idea from the Enhanced Games, which is just dumb, but what better way to call something out than by parodying it. I don't know exactly how the books will work yet, but expect some fun there.
That's it for July. If I'm not writing this month, I will either be out running, hiking, or on my brand new paddle board. Have fun, everyone, and stay cool out there.

Troublemaker ~ 1 ~ The Exact Moment
He is one of the best goaltenders in the league. He's also hated by his teammates. He didn't mean to be a troublemaker but why not lean into it? There wasn't anyone to stop him.

Series Masterlist // Main Masterlist
Everyone always knows when their life took a turn. Whether it was for better or for worse, people can tell you when that happened.
Me?
It was a couple of points. But maybe I should explain some things first.
My name is Jeremy Swayman. I am one of the best goalies in the National Hockey League. My goalie partner and I are considered the best goalie duo in the last decade. With that comes a lot of things. Endorsements, contracts, money and of course, puck bunnies. There is no shortage of bunnies. Every single woman and some not so single ones, are always hopping around, wanting a piece of me, whether it would be street cred or to tie me down.
I am all for the street cred but I’m not a relationship guy.
Or at least, I didn’t think I was.
I guess this would be the first point that changed my life.
Flashback, December
“Care to explain?”
She handed me the article and I sighed. “That was just a friend.” I threw back the rest of my drink and signals for another. She glare at me. Fuck did I not what to do this here.
“A friend.” She looks at the photos again and I can see what she sees. She’s blonde, model like. We’re both smiling big smiles as we are wrapped up in each other. “What’s her name?”
I choked for a moment on my new drink. “Her name is Charlie. The photo... the photo is just after we hugged. Nothing is going on.” I’m lying threw my teeth. Hooking up with Charlie had been the release I needed.
Dating Leighton Andrews, the sister of my assistant captain Luke Andrews, best friend of my captain, Andy Barber, and our social media director, had been a dream of mine for years. She was smoking hot, long, dark hair and green eyes. Fuck, I had wanted her for such a long time. And at the beginning of the season, she had broken up with her long time boyfriend. I swooped in and asked her out.
What I wasn’t expecting was to find out she was pregnant from the ex. And it threw me for a loop. That led to Charlie.
“Right,” she scoffs. Shit, I think she might cry.
“Right,” I repeat. But then my temper took over. She was sitting there, accusing me of stuff without proof. Ok, so she might have had cause but still, it's not like I didn’t notice how close she is to my captain. Alcohol is making me brave, reckless and a little mean. “Like you’re not screwing around with Barber. I know you want him, Leighton.” I sneered the words at her.
“Andy is just a friend. A friend that I’m not even speaking to.” She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at me.
“A friend? Really? That guy has wanted you since the day I joined the team. I’ve seen how you were before with him. All the hugging and kisses to your forehead or cheek. Just a friend right? Bet he’s the father of your baby too.”
See that? Right there, I just screwed myself. I just didn’t know it yet.
“How dare you! I told you the truth about the baby. You said you would be there. I thought we were in a relationship!” She was pissed and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. I had said those things to her. The waiter comes by and drops off our plates.
I push the food around. I was just looking for a good time when it came to Leia. But my mouth got the best of me. “Look, i know we’ve been seeing each other but we never defined what we are.” I shrugged. “I thought it was casual. I mean, you never slept with me so were we really that serious?”
I saw it that time. The flash of pain, regret in her eyes. “I guess then maybe, we should just be friends. I mean, why would you want to be with a pregnant chick when you could have all the uncomplicated stuff.” A watched that tear fall. I don’t think she meant for me to ssee it but I did. I needed to save this.
“Look, Leia, I just don’t think I want to be a father right now. I mean, you’re cool and everything but we were never going to the next level. I don’t know if I could sleep with someone who’s having another man’s baby. And now I’m going to be taking a hit because you weren’t honest from the beginning.”
“Oh, so what were you going to just sleep with me and throw me away? Your teammates sister?”
Oops. Fuck it. I shrugged. “I like you but I don’t do relationships.”
That was the death blow. And if I knew what I knew now, I wouldn’t have said what I said. I would have just been honest. That I wasn’t ready to be a father and left it at that. But no, big man needed to make sure she knew how much of a jackass I was.
“I’m sorry for ruining your life. I guess I’ll see you at work.”
I was shocked. She looked so calm. She stood up from the table, threw some money down. “Leia...” I tried to call after her. She turned and had a look of utter defeat.
“Goodbye Jeremy.”
I drowned my sorrow that night. She had been the only girl I ever wanted more with. But that didn’t stop me I guess.
Previously, I said I was one of the best goalies in the league, that my partner Linus Ullmark and I were the best anyone had seen in a decade.
What I didn’t mention was the fact that I was probably the most hated guy in the locker room.
If you take a life lesson from this, it should be this: never mess around with your captain’s best friend or your teammate’s sister. Especially when they are both.
Flashback: the next day
“yeah, she was banging.” I had decided to call Charlie for another round. I don’t usually double dip but she had been fantasic in bed, sucking me off like it was her job. And I couldn’t help but brag to the boys.
“Who was banging?”
I look up to see my captain staring at me, a particularly hard look in his eyes. He had heard me and looked like he was about to commit murder. I swallowed then smiled. “This chick I hooked up with. She was wild in the sack last night.”
“Oh,” his face blanked but his eyes were still flaming with rage. I’ve known Andy Barber for a few years. He is not one to lose his temper. He isn’t one to start fights. He’s a talker and one of the best chirpers in the league. He can get anyone into trouble. I should have seen this as a sign. “This is after you dumped Leia and after you cheated on her, right? Nice.”
I swear every single skate stopped to stare at the standoff between me and him. He just blew up my world and didn’t even know it yet. I tried to defend myself.
“Leia and I weren't a couple. We dated but we weren’t exclusive.”
“Oh, so telling her that you would be there for her, be with her for the baby, acting like her boyfriend but really what was your motive? Screw her and then dump her? She is one of us!”
Boom! There went my life.
“Jeremy, tell me that isn’t true?” Linus says.
Linus Ullmark is one of the nicest humans in the world. He loves his family, he loves his team. He is my best friend.
I’ve never heard him more disappointed.
I don’t have a chance to respond when Andy continues. “It's not only true but I had Leia sobbing all night because of this asshat,” pointing at me.
One more thing I should mention is that I have a temper. I once got ran over by the opposing team that I couldn’t let it go and punched my way out of the pile. There is a gif of me smiling like the devil as I stood up. When I get challenged I don’t back down. Linus calls it my “troublemaker setting” And Andy Barber just set it off.
“Why the fuck do you care, Barber? I had bigger balls than you to ask her out and date her. She was asking to be fucked, acting like a slut. She was ready to give me everything and then she dropped the truth bomb that she’s pregnant! She is a whore, wanting to sleep with someone else when she has a baby daddy. At least I didn’t fuck her, you should be thankful for that. You won’t have to deal with my sloppy seconds. Or thirds, I guess,” I smirked at him.
For the record, I understand that I may have crossed the line.
Barber lunges at me, but a couple of the guys stopped him.
But then I still got punched from out of nowhere.
I had forgotten about Lukas Andrews, assistant captain, enforcer of our team. He knows how to throw a punch. He put everything he had in it, I felt my nose crunch, along with the sound and i was flat on my back.
“You fucking asshole! That is my baby sister you are messing with!” Luke screams. He’s thrashing in the arms of our defensemen while Linus is helping me up. I feel the blood running down my nose and my lip is on fire. Guess when the other party doesn’t have a warning, Andrews can punch like its nobody’s business. But the rage is still simmering in my blood.
“Fuck you, Andrews. You told me I could go for it. Blame your-fucking-self!” I try to lunge at him but Linus and Brad, my other assistant captain, hold me back.
In all fairness, I had that coming. Linus told me to be careful with Leia. He told me that it was a bad idea to try to sleep with her a dump her. When I explained that I really did like her, he sighed and told me to do what I wanted to be happy. So I had asked her out, got the truth bomb and now I was paying the price for being a troublemaker.
As long as I lived up to the nick name, I didn’t want to care then.
I was out for one game with a broken nose. Since I wear a cage as goalie on my helmet, I just had to wait for the swelling to go down to get back into the game. So I threw myself into it.
But losing her to Andy was too much
Flashback – New Years Eve
“Oh god, sorry.” I felt a body hit me from behind. I knew it wasn’t one of my teammates, it was too soft. So I turned to apologize.
“My mis... Leia.” Fuck me. I had seen her come in with Andy and they went right to the table with Andrews, his girlfriend Miranda and Stella, one of our trainers and Leia’s best friend.
I hadn’t seen Leia in a while. Management had banned her from the ice, so her assistants were with us when they were taking photos. I had heard that she was also banned from flying. I wasn’t sure why, I assume that her doctor made that decision. But I try not to care. I can’t care.
“Hi Jeremy.” She’s uncomfortable and she’s flushed. She looks beautiful, her belly now more pronounced. I can see why they call it a pregnancy glow. “Happy New Year.” She started to walk away.
She’s trying but I still can’t let it go. “You move fast.”
She turned back to me. Her face is neutral but I can see the fury in her eyes. “Excuse me?”
I snorted. “Don’t play stupid, Leia. You’re with Andy, aren’t you?” A few of the players heads turn and I see Linus take a couple of steps forward. To protect me or protect Leia, I wasn’t sure.
Leia Andrews is not someone who will sugar coat anything. Her jaw tightened. “Why do you care?” she said loudly, her voice creeping up with each sentence. “You didn’t want me, remember? You slept with someone else, remember? You told me you couldn’t handle my situation and I walked away. Whether or not I’m with someone else is none of your business. You made that painfully clear.”
“Leia,” Linus said softly, touching her arm. “Please, be calm. For the baby.”
The baby? What’s wrong with the baby. I move to ask but she doesn’t give me a chance. She shakes off Linus and stares me down. I fear that she will hit me or eviscerate me where I stand.
“Now, if you will excuse me, I’m going back to dinner with my family. The ones who accepted me for who I am and what I am going through and have my back.”
I watch as she walks straight into Andy's arms. He looks at me with anger. Fuck, I don’t need this. My captain was going to be pissed because I couldn’t be nice to the girl he stole from me.
“Really, dickwad, you couldn’t just be nice to her.” Linus hit the back of my head.
“Fuck, really?” I rub the back of my head.
“She is a high risk pregnancy, jackass. Stress can be really bad for her. I get it, you are pissed but she chose the man she loves. Grow up Jeremy.” Linus shoved my shoulder and walked back to his wife. I looked around and saw my teammates glaring at me. They all knew about her condition. And I made it worse.
I lost the rest of my team that day.
Its been a week and I’ve had a different girl in my bed every night. But they aren’t her.
No one could be her.
So I go back to what I know.
Being a troublemaker.

foreword: 2024
Still here and writing ✍️
Happy New Year 2024!!
First of all, I want to take this chance to thank everyone for all of their love and support. I know that I am barely present as of late, due to life getting in the way of my love for writing and being emotional for watching the boys enlisting. But thanks to you who are still following me and the new ones who have just found me, you became the reason why I’m still here and sharing my content with you all.
Last year was rough for most of us. I witnessed a lot of authors stepping back due to having creative blocks or having big changes in life and priorities. I know because I had my own struggles throughout the year 2023. From losing my dearest pet, to moving to a new place and taking time adjusting, starting a new job, and I’ve also been busy planning for new things that I’ll be starting this year. Watch out for some good news that I’ll be sharing soon!
Though I might be busy with other endeavours, I will still be writing. My absence might get a bit more prominent at the start of the year, but I promise I’m not going anywhere. You might see me reorganising some stuff (my blog, Patreon, ko-fi) as I’m making changes here and there to create a more comfortable creative space for myself. I’m also determined to finish some of my long-awaited series, release some fic commissions that I finished last year but have yet to publish, and perhaps bring back some stories that are readers’ favourite.
As always, you can follow my writing progress and journey through my Schedule Post and my writing journal which you can find on Patreon. And for a bonus, you can take a sneak peek of the stories that I’m working on below. Just so you’ll know what to expect in the near future.
Until then,
Xoxo Dia

How many comics do you have? and where can I find them?
thank you for asking!!!!
sadly right now i don’t have any finished comics to show off as I only recently got the time to seriously work on my art BUT i do have a variety of projects that i can show off! there’s some stuff i’m actively working on and other stuff that’s more of a back burner thing but let me list out everything i’ve done/have planned on doing
1) angel bites
ok so my current project i’m working on right now is called angel bites and it’s actually going to be a fun lesbian erotica comic about an angel girl and devil girl who are bandmates and who secretly hook up on the side. i’m currently in the process of thumbnailing this one and i’m guessing it’s gonna be around 60 or so pages. once im done i’m gonna have the comic up on patreon/have it for sale digitally on a platform like itch.io BUT the first 20ish pages are sfw so I will post those publicly for free so i can show off my work and characters.
i designed these in universe pin ups that i haven’t posted publicly yet and even though i wanted to wait until i finish the third one in the series that’s a little sillier theyre my most recent and best looking art of the characters
2) sacrificial lamb
sacrificial lamb was my main focus for a bit but i’ve taken a break from it for the time being to work on other projects. it’s a more serious project than anything else i’ve been doing but it’s one i’ve been planning out since 2021 and that i do want to seriously look into getting published when it’s finished. it is a lesbian horror comic about a butch lesbian rabbit whose femme cat girlfriend gets sucked into the darker side of new age spiritualism. here is my WIP of the cover and a finished page
3) claw wrench
this is a lower priority project of mine but one i still want to make exist in some form one of these days. it’s about a teenage cat named milly going to live with their estranged super genius mad scientist half sister named mindy and her robot assistant mr. rogato. it would be a newspaper strip style comic with a few larger plot threads. i might start it up one of these days after i’ve gotten some other comics under my belt and i feel like i have a better mental image of what i want the writing to be like. here’s some designs i did in 2021
4) be mine, valentine
this is a project featuring characters of mine who i’ve had for a few years but only recently decided i wanted to turn into a short story. it’s about a peryton coder named cupid who is unbeknownst to herself a trans girl egg discovering her identity after being hired by a trans girl sex worker unicorn named valentine to help build a website for her work. it’s a short but sweet little love story that i have to plan out better before i seriously work on it but i can see it being something i make in the near-ish future. there will be some nudity and sexual themes but nothing pornographic so i will upload it for free online when it’s done ^_^ sadly i um…don’t have a sfw drawing of valentine yet LOL so you’re just gonna have to deal with a cropped pic
5) thalassophobia
this is probably most relevant to peoples’ interest who follow me and something probably remember. thalassophobia is a really big steven universe fan comic i started writing to give lapis a more complete arc. i had a lot of passion for it back in 2022/23 but steven universe hasn’t been on my mind as much recently so it’s gone on the back burner. still i put a ton of work into it so i’d like to come back and finish writing it one day, although for the actual comic process i might see about getting some help on pages and colors and such since considering the scale i think it’s way too big for me to do solo. here’s a cover and a few test pages i did
I HAVE ONE MORE COMIC TO TALK ABOUT BUT IVE USED UP THE IMAGE LIMIT i’m gonna finish in a reblog so give me a second

Hi....If you don't mind, can I ask, what are your top 10 (or top 7) favorite media (can be books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series)? Why do you love them? Sorry if you've answered this question before......Thanks....
If I’m being honest, I have been more into just listening to music during my free time more than anything and while I read a lot of manga, my goldfish brain would blank out if someone were to ask me anything about it. However, I will tell you my list of definite rewatch/reread series though some of them are pretty old or obscure.
My Top 10 (in no particular order)
Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-Kun (manga/anime)
At first, I watched it mainly for the fun aesthetics (cute colourful characters with spooky backgrounds) but I fell in love with the characters and world-building of this series. The whole cast, be it main or supporting, are absolutely amazing and capable of running a story arc of their own even without the main cast which is seriously impressive. And while the anime only just scratched the surface, the author really built the setting of this series with great thought, with its own politics, history, systems, and culture that impacts the story well. No random fact is without purpose and I love it.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. (manga/anime)
I’ve been watching anime since I was 4 so I can confidently say that I’m familiar with many classic anime tropes and cliches. This series is like a kudos to longtime anime fans with its jokes and jabs as it follows a strong psychic boy being absolutely done with the insanity of his life as he tries to keep his powers a secret from his schoolmates like a sports anime jock, a shojou girl, delinquent gone good, etc. The comedy coming from this deadpan omnipotent high school student is just an absolute delight. I kin Saiki so much
Nope (movie)
I’m a real fan of horror movies, especially those with undertones that bring a critical element to humanity. While I love all of Jordan Peele’s current works, Nope has got to be one of my favourite movies overall. I’ve heard of some of the criticisms people had with the film (pretty ironic ones too) but I personally love the pacing and suspense of the film. While it’s fun to watch monsters and killers get crazy from the get-go (that’s why Saw movies and slasher films were popular) but Nope touched on that all-too-real fear of not knowing what’s going to happen. That fear where you’re afraid but you’re not sure of what yet.
Petshop of Horrors (manga/anime) and the sequel Neo Petshop of Horrors (manga)
Speaking of horror with critical undertones, I was obsessed with this manga series that came out in the late 90s. I would try so hard to find a way to read this series every chance I could growing up. It’s a sorta episodic style story that stars a mysterious petshop owner that often becomes a suspect in the deaths of people who have bought animals from his shop. I love the philosophy of each new story that touches on humanity and how different (or similar) we are to animals. It questions our societal norms, expectations, base desires, mythology, what it means to live, and what is “acceptable” in our world. Unfortunately, the series was never fully translated and only published fewer copies than typical manga series due to reasons I’m not too sure of (possibly conflicts with ownership and company copyrights at the time, think Baccano situation). The series had an anime but even that anime only had 4 episodes (I still highly recommend it however). I’ve managed to get a few volumes for myself and I know people are selling certain volumes online but I have to save for essentials so collecting them is unfortunately a lower priority now.
Pokémon (video game/manga/anime)
Is this a cop-out? Nah. To this day, I would still have to physically fight myself to not buy plushies and games when I’m already broke af. Pokémon might be one of the first animes I have ever seen (I have seen both sub and dub because my brother found a way) and I would still on occasion go back to rewatch literally any season and any movie of theirs, Nintendo really hit the marketing jackpot with this franchise. The creativity and design are so iconic and memorable that it’s so easy and fun to get into the fantasy of going on an adventure with your favourite Pokémon. There’s of course some nostalgia at play since I loved the moments where my older brother would watch the movies with me and my cousin and I would collect the figurines together.
One Piece (manga/anime)
Is this also a cop-out? Don’t care. I LOVE ONE PIECE! I will sacrifice my time and tears for this series. I have legitimately managed to rewatch this 4 times in my life (granted I started when it only had 400+ episodes so I had an easier time) and I would willingly cry over a flashback, a whale, even a boat over and over again. The action and story-telling of this series just keeps me running back for more even if I keep meeting dumb gatekeepers (yea, people don’t believe me when I tell them I’m a One Piece fan, what are ya gonna do?) I haven’t watch the Netflix live action yet but I probably will once I get my friends to watch with me (I like to fangirl with friends~)
Forget my Husband, I’ll Go Make Money (manhwa)
Despite my blog probably being best known for the villain/ess series, the banner of my blog is not an isekai villainess story but a fantasy series where a woman who can see the past, present, and future tries to make money while being married to a foreign prince before expecting a divorce (because she assumed he rather marry for love than for political reasons). Fun fact, this series was actually one of the foundations when I was writing the villain/ess story for Leona. The art and main couple are just absolutely delightful, I can’t help but reread it as it returns for a new season. Not only is the art just gorgeous, the main couple is just so gosh darn entertaining with their conversations, personal dynamics, and hilarious misunderstandings. Just beautiful.
Hotel Del Luna (K-drama)
Leave it to my interest in horror to love a romance drama with ghosts in it. It’s funny, it’s cute, and some of the ghost’s backstory is heartbreaking as well. This is a great story to just have a nice cry out. I love the story, I love the music, but most importantly, I love IU! She is my queen and every scene she is in, she kills me with her fashion, her haughty character, and her tragic backstory. She and the male lead was such a fun twist of the typical k-drama relationship where she was the powerful but broken character who ended up being healed by the kind, hardworking character. I've watched this 3 times at this point, but I still cry Every. Single. Time. No exceptions.
Hell Girl (anime/manga)
If I haven’t sold you on how I was probably that kid with creepy interests, maybe this will convince you. This was my go-to show back when I was in middle school. There is no excuse, I just really love the psychological horror of this series. In the show, there is a website you can access at midnight where you can ask Ai or Hell Girl to send your most hated person to hell, with the price that you will go there too when you die. While there was a linear storyline in the background, the episodes were always new people who requested Ai’s help with different cases of their own hell on earth. It touches on some really heavy real-life topics but what made it memorable to me was how sometimes I would feel saddened by the choices the people in the show made. Sometimes, they’re in the situation where all they can do is curse someone to hell but then was it really worth losing your chance at a happier afterlife? I watched this show with some of my friends who either saw Ai as a villain for sending people to hell, or a saviour who helped these people find an escape from their torturer, and that honestly made me think about what it means to have that much hate in you. I always wondered if I was ever in that situation, what would I do if given the chance?
Big Hero 6 (movie)
Arguably the first Marvel-Disney movie since Disney bought Marvel, I remembered people having weird thoughts on the usually cartoony company taking over the superhero franchise but I fell in love with everything that was this movie. It had Marvel-style action mixed with classic Disney wholesomeness and gut-wrenching emotional moments. I loved the message and warmth that was in this movie. Having an older brother myself, I couldn’t imagine how I could go on if I lose him but watching Hiro being so well supported by Baymax and his friends cemented within me the importance of helping others and that supporting those in pain can be as powerful as stopping bad guys (sappy, I know but hey I’m now learning to be a preschool teacher so this really stuck with me). Tadashi’s recorded message brings me so much comfort that I didn’t realize I needed. He may have been the closest thing to a Disney crush for me.

Interview: Mike Faist Isn’t Sure About This Whole Acting Thing
“I can’t tell if I hate acting or if I love it too much,” he said ahead of the debut of the Amazon series “Panic.” Coming soon, a major role in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story.” For now, he’s going to Ohio.
By Elisabeth Vincentelli Published May 27, 2021
Tall and lanky, looking as if he were born wearing Wranglers, Mike Faist cuts quite a striking figure in the Amazon Prime series “Panic”: His character, Dodge Mason, is a Stetson-wearing rodeo dude who breaks untamed horses, then soulfully gazes into their eyes.
That, however, is not at all how the character was written in the Lauren Oliver young adult novel that inspired the show, debuting Friday, in which Dodge and a dozen other small-town teenagers face off in a series of life-threatening challenges — think a naturalistic “Hunger Games” with more class war.
After shooting a pilot in 2018 in upstate New York (where the book is set), the production completely rebooted in Austin, Tex., a year later, and Dodge’s back story was changed to better fit the new locale. Suddenly, the school wimp who was interested in cards and magic had been turned into a Western archetype: the strong, do-right loner who doesn’t say much. Faist went with the flow.
“Ciphers can be really boring,” said Oliver, who also wrote the screenplay, “but he manages to capture the power inherent in a certain level of invisibility.”
Dodge is quite a departure for Faist, who is best known for his Tony-nominated performance as the tormented, cynical Connor Murphy in the Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen.” Blessed with a rangy charisma and a bone structure that appears to have been carved with a scythe, the actor, now 29, could have easily coasted in “Panic.” But his sensibility is closer to that of such atypical leading men as Adam Driver, and he modernizes a potentially boilerplate part.
“Mike really didn’t want to be a caricature, but I don’t think he ever could be,” said Jessica Sula, who plays Natalie, Dodge’s love interest in “Panic.” She recalled that when shooting resumed in Texas after a Covid-19-imposed pause, Faist chose to live in a trailer on a plot of land with his rescue dog, Austin.
“He’s just so fabulously ridiculous and wonderful,” she said of Faist, laughing fondly.
Faist’s own course has been ascendant since he dropped out of acting school at 18, and his plum role in Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated “West Side Story” as Riff, the leader of the Jets, should put him on Hollywood’s speed dial when it debuts in December. (Shooting wrapped in September 2019.)
And yet the actor spent much of a recent conversation candidly admitting to ambivalence and incertitude. He spent some of the past year driving around the country with Austin and writing a screenplay. He has been turning down offers and is now selling his Brooklyn apartment and heading back to Ohio.
Faist was warm and laid back on a recent sunny morning in Park Slope, and he laughed a lot in what seemed to be protective self-deprecation as he pondered his future, professional and otherwise. These are edited excerpts from the conversation.
How did they spring the new Dodge on you?
It was still the same elements in terms of, “Oh, here’s the new guy,” but instead of, like, a weird magician, he’s now a … cowboy? I was like, “What do you mean, I’m now a cowboy?” They were like: “Yeah, yeah, you’ll be fine. Maybe try an accent.”
You do look pretty comfortable playing a horse whisperer.
I’d never worked with a horse in a production before. There were two of them: a very calm, gentle horse and a skittish one. We just ended up working with this skittish horse because it was actually doing stuff. The scene where the horse moves toward me was not planned or choreographed at all. They are, you know, unpredictable.
It might have been less intimidating than a sex scene. Is the one with Jessica Sula your first as an actor?
Maybe. I don’t know.
Wouldn’t you remember?
You’d think! I did do a romantic scene [onstage] in “A Month in the Country” with Taylor Schilling. I remember getting a pretty [expletive] review. [Laughs.]
Since the fall of 2018, you’ve gone back and forth between “Panic” and “West Side Story.” How did you handle these very physical projects?
For “West Side,” I found these Bruce Davidson photos of Brooklyn gangs from the late ’50s. If you look at their photos, these guys are emaciated, they have tattoos, and they look wired. Any money they had, they would pool and buy cheap wine and maybe they would have French fries or something. Then they were doing drugs. So I was like, “I need to lose some weight.” But my body was totally breaking down. Then I tried to bulk up as much as possible for “Panic” — just eating potatoes.
Did you do any kind of special training?
I started going to the Mendez boxing gym in Manhattan for “West Side.” I was working with John Rosado, who was raised in New York, Puerto Rican, badass. He was like, “I can’t believe I’m training a Jet!”
Your first big job was in the Broadway musical “Newsies,” which is quite dance heavy. Still, was it daunting to audition for “West Side Story”?
I put together a tape, and then they said, “We want you to come back in and dance.” I was like, “Is there any way you could not have me dance?” They were like: “What are you talking about? This is ‘West Side Story’!” The only saving grace is that Justin Peck [the choreographer] and I have similar body types: tall, nothing but arms and legs. They had their work cut out for them in order to get me up to snuff.
Why aren’t you in the upcoming “Dear Evan Hansen” movie alongside your former co-star Ben Platt?
I feel like I couldn’t do it. I started that when I was, like, 21, and was with it for five or six years. When you’re doing eight shows a week, it very much turns into relying on your technique and the job of it. And the show was such a zeitgeisty thing. It really took a lot out of me, and I didn’t really have it in me anymore.
With “Panic” and “West Side Story” behind you, what are you lining up?
Maybe this is so pretentious, but “West Side” was everything I had ever hoped to accomplish as an actor. It’s really crazy, but it was transcendental: either I didn’t feel like I was myself, or I was the most authentic version of myself. I can’t really tell which one. Having gone from having no money, wanting to just be a working actor — I don’t want to just be a working actor anymore. I had that experience. It [expletive] me up.
What did?
“West Side,” in the best of ways. I can’t unsee what I’ve seen. The pandemic nearly killed us and — what, I just want to be an actor? That’s ridiculous. [Laughs.] I don’t care enough. It’s a weird thing: I can’t tell if I hate acting or if I love it too much. It’s not like I don’t plan on doing it. I just don’t want to follow the trajectory of what the industry wants me to do.
Which is what?
Put on a cape and wear a mask. I need to take more agency because no one’s going to do it for me. It’s tricky, but it’s interesting and pretty exciting. I’m going to hang out with my family in Ohio and then start to figure out where I’m going to go. I would like to ultimately be of service and of use; that’s when I feel at my best.

Currently rereading "to an athlete dying young" and going absolutely insane over it, it is so well written!
I have yet to find anyone who is even half as good as you are at establishing insanely high tension/stakes while also doing comedic relief the way you do, every single interaction absolutely kills me. Especially Tim's interactions with Jason and Bruce are so incredibly interesting, you really nail those!!!!!
Reading your fic isn't enough, I need to print it out & eat it.
That being said, what does your writing process look like, if you don't mind me asking?
This is a question I only imagined getting once I have my original work published, so thank you for stoking the ever-hotter flames of my ego while I shoot into the stratosphere.
When I am famous with 10 books published and documentaries are made about me, I dream I will have a well-polished answer for to this question. SYKE.
Process:
F around and find out. Not in a threatening way. Just like—playing around with ideas like they're Legos and you are a three year old baby.
A lot of the time I get a snippet of something and I do a "sketch" of it before I forget it. I have a lot of these, and some of them are impossible to interconnect, so I literally take apart the story and rearrange it, and will do this once, twice, or five times to get through a single scene. I read this writing advice once where if you're stuck on a scene than the problem you really have is a chapter back, and I'm not much for universal writing advice, but I do believe that if I'm stuck in a place, then something else has got to be better. Sort of like pulling a car in park over and over again until you sorta get in in between the lines. I am really bad at parking. Literally not figuratively.
To an Athlete Dying Young is probably the closest to plotting I've ever been, since I'm using what actually happened in the comics as a loose guide for the events in the series. But I still write snippets that I jam together and take apart and peel and stick. My document looks like [LINKS NOTES RESEARCH] [STORY STORY STORY STORY] [RANDOM SCENE] [STORY] [SNIPPET SNIPPET SNIPPET SNIPPET] with some hyping myself up in between. Example of my "plotting", pure and unedited:
^ wouldn't you like to know where this is from
And here's a snippet that was possibly going to be in hold the low lintel up. I was going to have Tim move in with Jason. This is everything I wrote for it, so you're not missing any context:
“I’ve had to move out of my house,” Tim continues.
“That’s…a change. Can I ask what—”
“My uncle isn’t real,” Tim says.
Hood lifts his hands. They pause in the air for twenty seconds before he lowers them, fingers extended towards Tim. “What?”
“My uncle’s fake. I made him up. They’d’ve made me live somewhere else, otherwise,” Tim says. “I…I don’t want to live there.”
He leans against the warehouse wall, feels the dusty wood under the flat of his hands. “So, anyway, I was just wondering…” He glances at his shoes, then back to Hood. Nervousness, with an ounce of confidence. Just a pinch, not too much. Very little trust can take you very far. “If it were maybe possible…”
He trails off just as Hood starts to lean forward. Hook, line—
“Could I stay with you?”
—and sinker.
“I don’t think so,” Hood says.“Why not move in with your brother?”
“He’s working. I couldn’t do that to him.” And he lives too far away.
“I’m working, too,” Hood says. “And I can guarantee I’m not doing the kind of things your cop brother will like.”
“Alright. Well, if you want to find me, you can find me in the Bowery, where that old church is. I don’t think any rogues have made their hideouts there, but I guess I’ll find out.”
“Park Row isn’t safest place in the world right now,” Hood says. “You know there’s a reason people call it Crime Alley, right?”
“I’ve been around here longer than you think.”
“Look. Kid. You can’t stay with me. And with all these new murders, I don’t think it’s a good idea you’re even coming here. I get it. You don’t want child services sniffing your ass. I get that more than anybody, but. There are people out there, strangers even, who are willing to help you.”
It’s not a guilt trip. It’s a gentle emotional suggestion. It’s taking Hood by the collar and throwing him over Tim’s shoulder to slam him into a giant guilt pit that only gets deeper the more he struggles. Tim’s English teacher calls it pathos.
Then the suit for an extra layer of DRAMA.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, Tim and Superboy were supposed to be better friends and have sleepovers.
“You were sleep talking,” Superboy says. “It woke me up.”
“Sorry,” Tim says.
“You don’t look so good, bro. You going to be sick or something?”
“No.”
“What were you dreaming about?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
Tim hears the sheets shift as Superboy turns over.
“I don’t have dreams,” he says. “I hear they can be pretty gnarly though. Was yours gnarly?”
“Yeah.”
“You drink apple juice before bed?”
“No.”
“Good. I hear apple juice fucks you up.”
They fall silent. Tim doesn’t have his phone to distract him. He stares in the darkness at the blank wall.
“And cheese,” Superboy says. “Cheese will make you dream some wild shit. Again, can’t say if it’s true. But that’s what the internet told me. I learn a lot of things on the internet.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, Black Canary was going to have a role similar to the one she has in Young Justice.
I actually have quite a few snippets of her being sort of Tim's therapist, stereotypical Couch of Mental Breakdowns included, but it never got included into the story, just remained outlier scenes. Also Tim was not very receptive to talking it out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Summary: If I'm bored in the story, I throw a firecracker and watch stuff blow up ✌️
Thank you for asking! And it's an absolute honor to have written a story that's both worth a reread and being eaten. Hope this entertains you until I get the next part up!

Dang I miss Immortal/Undead Male Whump with possible wholesome romance as tv shows...
I just got done rewatching FOREVER (2014) and Moonlight (2008) and want to watch more shows and even movies of the similar tastes and it’s hard to find.
(Forever 2014)
(Moonlight 2008) (Fun facts, the character Joseph from the show voices Terra in the Kingdom Hearts games. A book was published years after the show that inspired the series called “Angel of Vengeance” by Trevor O’ Munson. The show went on hiatus due to the writers strikes and received 4 new episodes before ending, being cancelled, and not being picked up again.)
I miss seeing shows where the male lead has to keep the secret or deal with someone knowing their secret and trying to live with it. All of it based more in a realistic reality of the actual world, while still be fictitious enough to have things that could never happen in reality as well.
I know there are some show or movies out there similar, but they don’t fit my tastes or I did watch them for a time and then stopped cause they started getting crazy or boring for me.
I’m not one for watching something with sex in it, nor a lot of demonic things in it either. Some exceptions have been Angel and Buffy, but those are more supernatural fiction. I tried watch Vampire Diaries and did enjoy it for a time, same with the Teen Wolf series, but they both got to a point I couldn’t stand them and just stopped watching and couldn’t get myself to watch them again. I’ve tried with Teen Wolf, but just got bored.
I did try watching some of True Blood to see what it was like and only came out enjoying the theme song and left that quick. I don’t think I made it past the first episode.
Tried watching Penny Dreadful and same thing happened. The Sabrina remake as well. One ep and then I ditched it. I hated the the demonic stuff and just dipped. Made me miss the 90s show I grew up all the more.
I used to watch Forever Knight as a kid, She Wolf, and Beauty and the Beast as well, but not really into watching the super older shows of late 80s early 90s right now.
Also sucks how I can’t get season 2 of Invisible Man (2000) in the US. UK is lucky and got the second season of Invisible Man, we only got Season 1, which I bought up so fast. Though based more in science, Invisible Man was another good one. Poor guy couldn’t catch a break. Miss it so much.
(The Invisible Man (2000) (Thankfully, though only 2 seasons, the series got to end with an actually ending.)
Thankful we keep getting Psych movies every few years or so, though movie 2 and 3 haven’t been available to buy yet, which is frustrating since they only show it on peacock, though 2 was on USA recently and 4 is in the works.
(Psych (2006-2014, Movies ongoing)
Enjoyed watching Dracula, the NBC, not the BBC one. That one I hated. I enjoyed Jekyll and Sherlock, but Dracula was horrible.
Dracula NBC ended too soon.
(Dracula (2013))
One I didn’t see until after it aired, that for a time was free to watch on old Hulu, was The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. Very 90′s, but enjoyable all the same.
(The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998) and yes that is Mark Dacascos probably known by many as The Chairman of Iron Cheif.)
Which I recently found out they finally have made a remake of the 90′s movie with Bill Skarsgard that I hope will be good. Just leaves adding any vfx and so on they need to before release.
Many will know him more as Pennywise the Clown and leads into why I sat through watching all of Hemlock Grove.
Only good reason to watch that show on Netflix.
It has Vampires and Werewolves and more, but man, it isn’t worth it in the end with the plot they give.
So, yeah, really wish we got more immortal / undead whump with possible wholesome romances.

So, for the WIP Title Tag Game, I want I know more about the following:
Pinocchio and the Trickster Roleplay movie rewrite with spideypool VHS Cannibalism/Hunting Horror OG Story The Witch King Chronicles OG Water Dragon Horror OG Story Vessel Fic Trek-Expanse Verse
that’s a lot but I’m very curious. @spn-fanfic-reblog-writes
Hiii
Thanks so much for asking, I love talking about my WIPs especially my original works!
Pinocchio and the Trickster
This is a really new WIP that came out of a soulless Sam and Gabe smut fic I wrote, Choke Me Like It Matters, where Sam and Gabe have a history of being lets say frenemies with benefits. During Choke Me Gabe takes to calling Sam Pinocchio which is where I got the title and also suggests that he's sticking around for a while because he doesn't really have anywhere to go and a less uppity Sam is more fun even if he thinks he's an ass without his soul. Soulless Sam agrees if only for the fact that Gabe is better with humans and could make interactions easier. I haven't written much more than a diner scene where the two finally talk for more than an five seconds. Throughout writing it I really enjoyed playing a very morally flexible Gabriel who was a little dark, but still not too dark, and was much more Trickster than Archangel and Soulless Sam. Its been really fun to play around with, but I'm not a 100% where its going.
Role Play movie rewrite with spideypool
Oh yesss, this one, I am very excited for this one. I love spideypool. I just have a special place in my heart forever more. I miss writing them and when I watched Role Play (which I recommend if you want some fun, Kaley Cuoco was great) I instantly thought of Spideypool. The movie's about a family, where the mother has a secret job as an assassin who's went out on her own but wants to get out more and gets her cover blown, everything kinda spirals from there. It's funny, its cute, there is a lot of action, and I adore their relationship throughout the movie. There was this one part that just reminded me of Peter so much about how "killing is bad, and you should definitely not do that anymore... after we get out of this alive." Doing a rewrite with them has been slowly simmering in the background of my thoughts and hopefully, I'll have time to write it soon. It would be so nice to write for them again.
VHS Cannibalism/Hunting Horror OG Story
Thank you for asking about this one! I don't often get to talk about my horror stuff. This is an original short story idea that my friend asked me to write and I just haven't finished it yet. Maybe for the spooky season. She wanted a story about a woman who's father died. As she's cleaning up his hunting cabin, deciding what to do with it, and she finds a bunch of old tapes labeled hunting trips with a few years marked on them. She of course misses her father greatly and watches them. The more she watches, the more she realizes that all of those wonderful dinners with her father and his hunting buddies weren't the meals she thought they were. It's probably gonna be grisly especially since she said she didn't care if the woman lived at the end.
The Witch King Chronicles OG
Thank you for asking about Witch King, I need to find more time to flush this out. I originally planned it to be a fanfic but the more I worked on the lore, backstory, characters, and moral of the story, the more I realized it was its own thing. Its a bit of horror, dystopia, fantasy, and sci-fi. I'm pretty sure if I ever get it published it would be a series or a very long book, but it spans a very very long time and begins with the focus on a cursed spellbook found on a planet that seems to be driving the new colonist mad. No one really remembers who owned it, there are rumors since it's such a powerful book, but too much time passed, and it was originally made light years away from where its found. This is where everything starts, Terrence, one of the main characters, does remember and makes sure he is the one tasked with removing the book and taking it to the Collective for "safe keeping". He doesn't, and it starts a very long journey to find out how to properly destroy it relying on legends, old stories, and trusting an old alien he really probably shouldn't.
Water Dragon Horror OG Story
Oh I wish I had gotten further with this one. I'm pretty sure this one started based off a conversation on my discord server with @lucathepanman and @huntressandlioness1 maybe? It was about the biggest lake in the world that is so large and that there weren't enough water dragon stories out there. The doc is a lot of notes about lore for the lake, lore about water dragons, and the beginning of mapping out a story for a sacrifice gone wrong, but I really haven't had a lot of time to work on it >>"
Vessel Fic
This is a fun one! I answered an ask about this one, which you can find here. Hopefully I'll write some more on it soon since I've been fiddling around with it more lately or at least give it a proper title.
Trek-Expanse Verse
Oh, this one I haven't touched in so long, honestly kinda forgot about it. This is one I was working on with my husband, its a bit of mash up of the expanse and trek universes. I think the last time we sat down and worked on it we figured out the adjusted timeline for things and the ships we both wanted to see between both verses, and what people we really wanted to see, since I wasn't sure how many I would write of it and there are so many great star trek characters.
Thanks again for asking, it was wonderful to talk about these. <3
