Had a lot of family stuff going on the last few days. My grandad sadly passed away and my family and pretty useless so I’ve been just trying to organise everything on top of looking after my little sister. It’s just a lot. Haven’t had much time to write or post anything, you know? Haven’t even had much time to grieve with everything going on and then my job on top of all of that.

I miss writing and stuff but I need to take some time to sort stuff out and finally grieve.

Never will I stop with the steadfast notion that folks in the DPXDC fandom should interact with at least some form of canon DC media.

There are comics, tv shows, radio dramas both old and new, podcasts, movies, magazines, so much shit that intentionally avoiding the media is simply preventing yourself from spawning new ideas and gaining a new appreciation for a fandom that you’re already in.

The Superman Radio Show has episodes 11 minutes long. A lot of the TV shows don’t have episodes that surpass 30 minutes and most are nearly fully clipped on the official DC YouTube channel. The amount of fan made motion comics is astounding. The amount of fanmade animations is equally as incredible.

i think that we, as a society, put so much shame in rejection/not being reciprocated in your feelings that now many people see that as the worst thing in the world to ever happen, even in books. as if the lack of love is the most devastating thing you could find.

meanwhile, i think the possibly more heartbreaking thing there could ever be is reciprocated love. it’s a love that is there, the love is there, it just can’t happen. they both love each other but they can’t kiss, they can’t hold hands, they can’t say it out loud but they both know. the love is there.

“oh but x never loved y that’s why he did that!” i hate this type of accusations, x loved y and he did that anyway, the love was there, aziraphale loves crowley and he still went to heaven, the master loved the doctor and he still will never forgive him, sherlock loves john and he still hurt him, how do you cope with that? if you know that the love is there, what explanation can you find now behind those actions? i care about you and i still will hurt you and i will make bad choices and i love you and i will claw my way out of my own skin if i ever have to say that out loud.

and you still look at him, you still yearn for him and you pretend not to see the hand that lingers a bit too long on your shoulder and you pretend to adjust his tie just to catch a glimpse of his bare neck on your fingertips. i can’t, i can’t.

They’re not going to rebuild Castle Byers because Will can’t rebuild his childhood, which is the reason he destroyed Castle Byers in the first place. He’d been trying to hold on to a level of carefree ignorance that no longer existed for him. The problems Castle Byers saved him from have been replaced by new problems that are bigger and stronger than a child’s fort. He needs to face them differently. Thank you and goodnight

Am I fuming about the car? Yes absolutely

But I’m also really fuming and sad about how shit rbr as a team are. Top team members leaving, their team principal seems to think he’s bigger than the team and driver, so much so they stop listening to Max and are now suffering for it.

Like it’s just so opposite to how the team was, the same team Max said he wanted to stay with for 10-15 years. It’s just so shit to see the team fall so much on and off the track
