I promise I'll start writing soon, I've just been in a mad dash to get stuff ready for the holidays and I'm traveling in a few days so I just haven't had the time! Thank you for being patient with me :)

As for what content I'll share TODAY, I typically reblog things as I'm setting up my queue for my main blog, @nerdalmighty. I'll go through my friends' blogs to see what they've been up to, and I'll also search the "baldurs gate 3," "bg3," and "bg3edit" tags on tumblr for a little while to see what fun new content has appeared in the last day or so. It's all part of my daily routine!

Hi, Anon!

This took a LONG time to answer, and I'm sorry about that. Fact is, I have gone through a hard time lately. I lost my job in Sept, one I held my whole adult work life. It was a toxic environment, and ultimately, I think it's for the best. But it was kind of traumatic.

That said, things are better now. I've started my own business, indie publishing and freelance editing. It's work I feel passionate about. I may end up taking an employee position again in the future for the financial security, but for now, it's liberating to be free of Corporate's thumb. My mental health has improved.

Anyway, thank you for checking in! I appreciate you thinking about me. Knowing that you still think about my fanfics means the world. I put so much energy and love into them, it's incredibly meaningful to me, knowing how much you appreciate them! Thank you!

It is going okay! My roommate got married to his long time partner on Saturday, the wedding was amazing, we went out for lunch and it was so fun! Yesterday we went grocery shopping, I did some writing, and had a real relaxing evening and then today was pretty chill overall, slept in, watched a playthrough of the game "Mouthwashing" (which wow that was a trip-), took some good time for myself and then finished up the current movie event in my discord server, wrapped up Final Destination fall. We watched the 5th one, everyone loved it!

I'm v v tired 😮‍💨 on top of going back to work after 8 months, the baby is being a baby and waking up at 4 am. Even though my partner takes them I have a hard time falling back asleep. Also this morning the neighbor's rooster started right with the baby 🙃 buuuuuuuut on the bright side I have been using my breaks at work to write 😄

I was planning to be in bed by now, but I made the mistake of playing some Zelda II (the original version, not the remastered one I finished) and now I gotta wind down or I won't sleep, so I thought I would say hi.

Eyy! Hi Blue! I was actually planning on dropping by your inbox to say hi, but you beat me to it! I'm glad to be back, although I may still be a little scarce the next few days cuz I still have a term paper due in Friday. (I'm writing about the ice age Missoula Floods.) Is Zelda 2 exciting/suspenseful to play? I do want to play it soon, but I'm working in finishing TotK. I'm actually going to fight Ganondorf in the next couple of days. I'm excited and scared. Hopefully by Friday! We're nearing the end of the school year and all my time last week got taken by working the concession stand late for our track & field program. Getting home at 10pm every night was not the move, add in state testing and last week was funnnnn. But we're winding down and my goal is to have this fic done by the end of May so we'll see how it goes.

I'm feeling fine now! Just a stupid cough but that's normal for bronchitis (it thankfully didn't develop into pneumonia). It's going away tho. Very slowly. I did loose my voice, which sucks because I'm a cashier so yknow I kinda have to talk, but at this point I'm just saying as little as possible to get through interactions. Thankfully it seems to be coming back now!

I think the meds may have helped. It feels like they did very little tbh, aside from make me sleepy which is one of the side effects so that's ... normal, I guess? I just finished all my pills today, actually! Now there's just a liquid I need to take till it's gone. But they probably did because I'm coughing less and feel better so they probably did something.

I've found that steam/humidity really helps my lungs, so I've been taking longer showers just to have some damn peace lol. Still, I'm recovering, albeit a lot slower than I'd like but what can ya do. Overall I'd rate this experience 0/10 and will be filing a complaint with HR about my body creating a hostile working environment.
