My limbs feel so heavy they could sink a boat. My head so cloudy sunbeams can’t penetrate the gloom of my thoughts. Heart so hollow having been wrung out by something new every single fucking day. I lay in my bed and can’t find the will to move. My brain screams at me to do something. Anything. But I stay here. Until the panic overwhelms my senses, for then I can move. But by then, it’s always too late. I wake up too late. And then we go again. And again. And again.

I think I need a career change. This clearly isn’t for me as I keep getting rejected from everything. I’m just not understanding. I’m stuck because I don’t know what else I would be interested in.

Did you know it’s legal in the USA for mattress companies to put fiberglass in their mattresses? They don’t even have to label them! So if you wanna commission me so I can buy a new bed I won’t stop you

Lisie Harine, 30th games.
Blurb:
Lisie smirked. She had just stabbed the male from nine. She used her axe to her advantage, defending herself from the eighteen year old female from nine. Lisie stabs her too. She grabs their packs and runs as fast as she can to hide, her blonde braid flying behind her. She has three packs now. She didn’t have any allies. Better safe than sorry. She finds a tree and scales it, sitting down on a branch. She takes a breath and relaxes somewhat. She decides to look through the packs. She finds water, finally, in this damn arena.
When the hovercraft comes to get Lisie, she is suspicious. But when she sees her mentor and her daughter, she hugs them. Little Pearl is holding Lisie’s jewelry from reaping day.
“Mommy said I was gonna give yo’ your pretty necklace.” Pearl pipes up.
“Thank you, Pearl.” Lisie says, brushing some hair out of Pearl’s face. Pearl smiles brightly and gives Lisie’s necklace to her. Lisie pulls it on.
“You’re gonna have to take that off, y’know.” Olivia says.
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. Post-game checkup. I had one too, doubling for a pregnancy checkup for this little one.” Olivia gestures to Pearl, who was completely oblivious in Lisie’s arms.
“You were pregnant with Pearl during your games? How come didn’t they send you back?”
“I didn’t know, and besides, they only take your vitals before the games start. It was too late to send me back anyways.”

Memorable quote from Lisie Harine: Fuck yeah!
