loving reminder as someone who struggles with food: you are allowed to add joy to your food. you are allowed to add a little joy even if it’s a tiny thing, something silly or something weird. you are allowed to do it whenever you want, as many times as you want. anything that makes food easier and more enjoyable for you is worth it!! it’s your food, you can decide what to do with it!! you can add rainbow sprinkles to your ice cream. you can cut your food into little heart shapes. you can pack your snacks into cute little bento boxes. it is not pointless or childish, it is an effective and active coping tool that you are allowed to use.

give yourself a little joy. the little things add up.

Some people on here act like everyone on public transport should sit in absolute silence staring straight ahead lest they annoy someone. Like yeah people will be on their phone they will be talking loudly in a group they will be eating or drinking or doing their makeup or playing I spy with their child or whatever because people tend to do these things in public spaces like public transport

#not saying I don’t find people annoying and loud sometimes but funnily enough being annoying isn’t a crime #and tbh I like seeing what other people get up to on the bus. I love seeing wee kids (and often adults too!) excited when the front of the #top deck of the bus is free #I love listening in to other people’s conversations #I hear groups of teenagers having the exact same convos that my friends and I had when we were their age #idk it’s a public space people will do things that annoy you and they are allowed to do that actually #also dgmw I’m often annoyed by other people on the bus but like. it’s not a big deal most of the time #what really pisses me off is when a bus is super busy and people put their bag on the spare seat next to them so no one can sit there #um no that is actually rude and inconsiderate most of the time #obvs if you have a big bag you can’t avoid it but I’m not talking about that
