The other witchers initially dislike Jaskier upon their first meeting with the Bard. When Jaskier arrives at Kaer Morhen with Ciri, who appears to be possessed by a demon, blame falls swiftly on the outsider. None of them are aware of the true events concerning the mountain.

Their knowledge is limited to Geralt once traveling with a bard who abruptly ceased their companionship, leaving Geralt visibly affected. Many among them choose to believe Jaskier is at fault.

Upon discovering Jaskier's noble status as a Viscount, several assume him to be a privileged, frivolous youth who sees Geralt as a mere plaything.

Jaskier is aware of the animosity directed at him in Kaer Morhen, a sentiment he's long endured, often from within himself. Yet, he refrains from confiding in Geralt, fearing Geralt might recall the reasons behind this disdain.

Instead, Jaskier resolves to endure it with a smile.
