Wanderlust and Hesperos(Don’t You Worry Child) being best friends as kids

The Showman was said by Aurore to be a godfather to Wanderlust, which actually fits in with my Traveler being a sentient star with a humanoid form hcs bc I can say The Showman is the same way going based on Don’t Stop Me Now

The Showman and The Traveler have always been close friends and whenever The Showman visited he’d bring his son, Hesperos around to play with Wanderlust

The young prince was always so interested in Hesperos because unlike their dads, Hesperos looks more like Wanderlust because they weren’t white like other coaches and when Speros didn’t have star projected onto him, he looked the same just without the stars

Speros was a bit upset about looking different from their dads because he wanted a normal form with a small patch over his eye too but Wander never failed to mention how absolutely awesome he looked

Speros and Wanderlust lost contact as they got older due to their separate duties, Wander buried himself in his Chosen One duties and Hesperos having to find his place among the stars while balancing his love for Lucia(Lights)

But imagine the two meeting once more when Speros is needed to save his childhood friend and his crew

(As kid’s they totally played pranks on their dad’s when they talked about important work, Si’ha helped them, The Showman was always more bothered by pranks than The Traveler given I see him as a bit of a jokester/prankster too, he’s proud of the boys)

I understand people getting a little upset about Ally getting out- I wasn’t happy about it cause I want Riya out, but I was okay because Jake was still in.

But y’all who are so petty you refuse to side with Jake? 😭

I can’t be talking- if Jake doesn’t win the season I’m dropping all ONC content in the future. That probably makes me petty- but Riya DOES NOT deserve that money.

“I worked my ass off!” No the fuck you did not. Jake did. Ally did. Connor did. You did not. You got plot armor. You were manipulative. You were being an actress. You were using your own skill not your physical or mental strengths. Riya got plot armor. So did Jake, but at least he deserved it. Jake gets too much hate. Jake is a really well written character. Probably one of the best out of the entire show. He has flaws, he tries his best to get rid of them. Getting rid of your flaws isn’t fucking easy. People need to get their heads out of their ass and realize that.

People are so used to “perfect” or “few flawed” characters in media- that they don’t understand more complex ones. I personally don’t like Ally because she is poorly written. If she was executed better? I would’ve loved her too. So even though Jake probably has money because of Miriam, he still deserves the win. Riya doesn’t deserve that money. She’s a famous actress. Could other people have used the money? Of course. But between the two finalists? Jake deserves it more.

And one final thing to the Jake haters out there? Think about it like this. What’s Riya going to use the money for? She’s a famous actress she has plenty. You know what Jake could use it for? Therapy. Taking care of himself better. Growing as a person. So yeah, Jake deserves it more than Riya ever does. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Anthony Eden fucking deserved to be disgraced for the Suez Crisis and at no single point could he have made a WORSE decision than the one he made. how are you so in love with yourself...this is not me accusing you of narcissism or smth i genuinely am in awe of how much you seem to like yourself and be in love with yourself and I try so hard to be like you and do that too but i fail every single time...i really really want to know how I could be like this too because i know it is one of the biggest things stopping me from achieving happiness

Not sure if this is a ubiquitous experience, but for me personally affirmations can only go so far. There’s always been a direct correlation between me doing action-based things and my self-esteem increasing, so I try to keep my promises to myself (study at x time, work out at y time, just doing whatever I need to do even if I don’t have the motivation for it). Someone told me that self-esteem comes w doing esteemable things, and I’ve never forgotten that since. What someone thinks about me (including the gargoyle voice in my head lol) won’t faze me if I have tangible accomplishments under my belt I can refer back to on bad days
