Thank you for replying to me! 🙈
Do you have character sheets for Daniel? I’d love to see how you characterise him and what kind of personality he has. I have no artistic talent AT ALL so I live vicariously through different artists on tumblr who draw their MC, so thank you for entertaining me ❤️
HI AGAIN ANON
I actually did not have a character sheet ready when you sent this so I had to scramble to make one for you LMAO I sorta based it on @choccy-milky’s char sheet since I had no idea how to make one…… Also kinda crazy how he looks so different than when I first drew him just a week ago…
Tumblr media
But erm yeah I guess I can try to tell a little bit about Daniel’s character even though I still haven’t thought too deeply about it. I’ll try to keep it brief 😰
Basic description of Daniel’s personality:
Competitive: likes to win/be the best, loves sports (Quidditch ofc 😼 !!!), a bit of a perfectionist, gets frustrated with little mistakes
Stubborn: doesn’t know how to quit, the type of guy to go to Quidditch practice even when he’s sick, needs a lot of convincing to get him to listen 😅, when he’s locked in he’s LOCKED IN
Independent: prefers to handle things on his own, doesn’t like receiving help from others, can work in a team but would just be off doing his own thing
Emotionally reserved: isn’t great with emotions especially his own, bottles up feelings/ignores them, often leans more towards being logical in decision-making situations rather than emotional
Awkward: ………yeah 👍
Lowkey just a chill guy who doesn’t gaf (but actually does secretly gaf)
As for his relationship with Sebastian aside from the canon game events, they both love quidditch so that bonded them even closer together as teammates. I think that slowly they both begin to mutually notice each other but don't want to speak up in fear of ruining their friendship and also they’re just in denial…. So they resort to just teasing each other and being like “let’s kiss each other to see what kissing a girl feels like” 😅
I’m so sorry it’s not really detailed…. Like I said I haven’t thought much about it/still in progress of building him and also cuz I didn’t want to make this post too long cuz who wants to read all that yap. BUUUUT I am drafting up a fanfic about them, not sure how long I want it to be tho 😰 Hopefully that will give you guys more info of his character and see their dynamic in action. WRITING IS SO HARD kudos to all you writers !!! If only I can write as good as I can draw 😿 Don’t expect it to be up anytime soon tho IT MIGHT NEVER EVEN BE POSTED WHO KNOWS !!!! DON’T EXPECT ANYTHING !!!! I PROBABLY SHOULDN’T TELL YOU THAT IF I CANT PROMISE IT BUT WHATEVS !!!! 😰😰😰

Bringing back this fantastic g/t dream I had forever ago because I’m thinking about Inventor and Apprentice again…
(I had one last night but it wasn’t good enough to beat this one, and unless I get a lucid g/t dream it will probably stay my fave)
A g/t dream that happened suspiciously soon after seeing the Antman Quantumainia movie:
The dream started out with two lovers, a guy and girl, both scientists and inventors.  Though none of their insane inventions actually worked/were given funding, they gathered enough money to buy a countryside cottage house far away from their problems and start a new life.  They were married and worked on funky lil projects together.  Their inventions progressively kept getting crazier until one day they cracked the code for inter-molecular travel.  (This could cure any number of viral diseases by going in and fighting them head on, and even genetic ones by potentially re-organizing cell reproduction to skip over harmful strands of DNA)
They celebrate their victory and the husband suddenly starts crying.  His partner asks what’s wrong and he says ‘nothing!  I- I’m glad we figured this out in time!’  Apparently he has cancer and isn’t going to be around nearly as long as he thought.  However, before they test the machine to try and save him, a Kang-the-Conqueror-type villain appears out of the new machine and tries to take over.  The husband and him duke it out while the wife desperately tries to fix the machine to send him back.
Husband manages to cut the villain’s suit (which he needs to breathe in such a new world, like a space suit) and the villain dies.  Shortly afterwards Husband falls to the ground having been given a fatal injury in the fight.  There isn’t a hospital for miles around, and even then it would be too late.  Her husband dies in her arms.
(timeskip)
A few years later, a new person moves to town.  She’s a young inventor wannabe herself and heard rumors of the secluded widow that was once a brilliant mind.  She finds her tinkering with stupid machines (like the unserious ones from the funnier mad scientists in Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Back to the Future, Epic, etc), and gets barred from entering by some crazy device.
As an aspiring inventor, she reverse-engineers the device that’s stopping her from getting inside and tries to talk with the woman.  At first she keeps giving no answers and telling her to leave, but the newcomer is persistent and keeps coming back to help. Eventually the two come to some friendship.  The younger one becomes her apprentice, but also teaches her a few things herself being only a few years younger than the older inventor.
One day Apprentice finds the old inter-molecular travel machine and (being science-y and studying it for a moment) realizes what it’s for.  She excitedly asks if it works — if it’s possible — but gets immediately shut down and the machine is yanked from her hands and hidden away again.  Inventor tells her it’s not safe and she should never touch it again.  Of course, where would our story be if she listened to that?
Apprentice secretly takes the machine home and works on it herself, getting it to run after working on it for some time.  In her spare time (and possibly by stealing parts from Inventor) she builds a small spaceship-looking vessel that can take her down where the machine goes.  She boots up the thing in her front yard (the ship is too big to be in the house and the backyard is too wooded) and goes on her own. Wow! So many cool things! She’s having an awesome time and doesn’t understand why Inventor was so scared of it.
(we zoom back out to the normal front yard)
Apprentice put her small dog behind a locked dog door to keep him from messing around in the yard while she does her thing.  Unfortunately, the mailman comes up to the porch to deliver a package, stepping past the machine with nothing but a confused look. The little dog goes nuts the moment the mailman steps onto the porch and bursts through the flimsy plastic to chase him.  He runs off the front porch and trips over the machine, damaging it before quickly speeding away.
The machine is rapidly dying and the ship can sense it, sending out an alarm.  Apprentice rushes back to the surface before the connection is cut, but doesn’t make it in time.  She’s stuck at about half a centimeter tall.  Some weird cells/microscopic creatures grow with her too and she sees them all spasm and die in front of her through the ship’s windshield, simultaneously realizing that if she were to step outside, the air would be too large to breathe and she would die too.  Thankfully, both the suit and the craft have the ability to synthesize smaller air from the larger normal one.  However, she’s still trapped at a ridiculously small size.
A day later, Inventor comes looking for her because she didn’t show up to the house.  She becomes terrified as she looks into the front yard and sees the dead machine.  Had a similar fight occurred to the one she witnessed?  Was her friend lying dead somewhere, and the conquering person wandering around ready to take the world?
Thankfully not; the now much smaller Apprentice made camp by the machine and Inventor spots it while assessing damages to it, figuring out what must’ve happened in her head.  Her friend isn’t in the camp (off scavenging to survive) and she fears that they died.  Inventor calls to Apprentice in a normal voice, which would be like shouting through a megaphone to their very tiny friend.  Apprentice rushes back to camp, waving her arms wildly, so so relieved that they were found before the inevitable happened.  Inventor tells her to get in the ship (which is reinforced to go through the entry and exit phases) and brings it carefully inside to a counter where she can see her better.
Thankfully, there’s an intercom on the ship for talking between the person out in the suit and the people on the ship (just like any space suit).  Inventor reprograms it and is able to hear their friend through the intercom.  Apprentice starts crying, apologizing to Inventor over and over again, saying that she was right, it was dangerous and she should’ve listened to her but now it’s too late.  Inventor gently calms her down.
Though she’s angry that her friend used the machine after she warned her about it, she’s clearly learned her lesson, and worse.  Apprentice gets scared and sad (as anyone in her situation would be) telling Inventor that she’s ruined her life and will be stuck like that forever.  See, if you stop the process halfway through, whatever height you stop at becomes your new true biological height.  Trying to pull her back up with the machine won’t work because the systems wouldn’t see that as bringing her back to normal height. She was already brought back up.  That is her normal height now.
After the initial terrifying few days of organizing things and getting used to simply being around someone so vastly different in scale, Inventor comes up with an idea to create a machine that basically does the opposite of what the old one did.  It could be used to vastly grow someone instead of vastly shrink them. Apprentice dejectedly points out that she thought of that already, and did the math.  The process will multiply anything’s mass instead of dividing it, simple as that.  At a normal human size, that would multiply two big numbers together and make them absolutely massive.  At her size, the number would be much smaller.  At best she’d be about 15 centimeters tall — giant-sized for someone who’s half a centimeter, but not so much for someone who isn’t.
Inventor nods, having done the math themselves, and asks her ‘surely you’d rather be the length of my hand than the length of a pen tip, right?’  Apprentice agrees and they set to work.  Time goes by and their relationship grows ever closer as they learn to live together and trust eachother at such a dramatic difference in scale.
At last, the machine is done.  Apprentice steps in and grows to — as calculated — about 15 centimeters tall.  At last she doesn’t need the suit to talk and breathe; she doesn’t need to hide away from everything, even the sun itself, which was a lot hotter as half a centimeter tall; she doesn’t need to constantly be surrounded by food and heat in her little ship, lest she quickly freeze or starve to death.  Overjoyed, the two share an awkward little g/t embrace.  Both celebrating the fact that they can easily walk around and talk to the other without fear.
Time goes by and they become even closer through various little g/t scenarios — closer than either expected. After a while, they decide to destroy both machines and any records of them permanently.  They’re way too dangerous to be kept around. Apprentice can’t go through the growing one twice (cells would stretch to decay) and Inventor is too afraid to mess with the shrinking one to try and make her height more accommodating to Apprentice.
This duel destruction causes an unforeseen explosion that drags tiny Apprentice into it. Inventor rushes to the blast site, and is met with quite the shocking scene.
The blast actually negated all previous effects of both machines, and Apprentice is there covered in ash, back to normal size.  The two happily share a true embrace for the first time in years.  A bit of romance/drama stuff ensues as both struggle with their feelings for the other, which grew from friendship to love while they were living together.  Eventually, Apprentice tells Inventor that she loves her and Inventor gets even more conflicted because they love her too but.. her husband.
Idk what happens in between (there was a very poorly timed timeskip, but because of the ending I know they end up together)
So I imagine Inventor learns to let go and move on.  I remember watching a Studio Ghibli looking montage of pretty hand-drawn backgrounds (since the thing is animated in my dream) of them doing things that lovers do.  There was a heartwarming ending scene where they add their first true invention they made together to the little memorial that Inventor and her husband made of their first one.
The end I think.  I woke up after that. Honestly my favorite g/t dream to date, despite not being in it myself.

So I don’t condone the usage of ai in regards to art or writing, since it takes away the soul and the whole purpose of creating the piece of work. However, I saw a couple videos of Novel AI creating some unhinged shit, so I got curious. This is almost certainly gonna be the only time I ever use this program, and it’s literally for curiosity sake.
Anything in brackets is what I have pasted in (coming from bits and pieces of my oneshots)
[Kremy can’t pinpoint the exact moment his feelings for Gideon turned romantic, nor could he pinpoint the moment his crush burned into love. What he could pinpoint, however, was when Kremy himself acknowledged that he loved the genasi.]
It had been a week or two since the gang had taken care of the problem with the dragon, and Gideon had insisted on accompanying him and his family on their trip to the nearby market. Kremy wasn't entirely sure why he had insisted on coming, but he couldn't say he minded. In fact, he was enjoying it a lot. He had gotten to spend the day with his friend, and now he was watching him interact with his family, and it was...adorable, really.
Gideon was the perfect example of a gentleman, always holding doors and helping the ladies cross the street. Kremy found it endearing and heartwarming. He didn't know what was up with the genasi, but it was nice to see him acting so polite and friendly towards his family. His mother adored him.
"He's such a nice boy," she said. "He'd make a fine suitor."
"Ma," Kremy laughed. "That's not what he's here for."
"I know," she said. "Just letting you know, you could do worse."
Kremy just chuckled, shaking his head and leading her to another shop. They had been at the market for hours now, and the sun was beginning to set. Gideon was in a deep conversation with his sister about a book they were both reading, while Kremy and his mother perused the selection of clothing.
"Are you going to buy something?" his mother asked.
"I don't know," Kremy replied. "It's getting late, and I don't have that much gold."
"Hmm," his mother mused.
[Kremy shouldn’t have felt jealous. He was the one who put the whole plan in motion, after all.] The one who suggested bringing Gideon along. But here he was, staring at the two of them, his sister and Gideon, the pair talking excitedly about their book. And it just felt wrong.
His sister was always the more reserved and intellectual of his siblings. She didn't get on with others that well, and didn't have many friends. She and Gideon, it seemed, got along well. Too well.
His mother had to nudge him a few times to get him moving again.
"Come on, Kre," she said. "We should probably head home. It's getting late, and your father and brother will want supper soon."
"Yeah," Kremy replied.
She was right. It was time to go home.
But he still couldn't shake the feeling of jealousy and sadness that was gnawing at his gut.
When they returned to the house, his sister and Gideon continued talking. Kremy couldn't bring himself to join them, so instead, he helped his mother with supper.
"What's wrong, Kre?" his mother asked.
"I-I'm not sure," he said.
"Something's bothering you," she stated.
"I'm not sure what," he replied.
"It's about your sister and Gideon, isn't it?"
"What?"
"You're jealous."
"Why would I be jealous? He's just a friend."
"No, you're jealous. I know that look. I wore it when my sister was talking to your father before we got married. And when she was flirting with him, and he was flirting back."
"She...what?"
"Your father never acted on it. I knew that. She did, too. But she had to try."
"Oh."
"Kremy, if you love him, tell him. If he loves you back, great. If not, well, you'll have your answer."
"Ma, he doesn't love me."
“How do you know?"
"I...don't. But why would he love me? I'm just an old half-elf with no future."
"Nonsense. You're young, and smart, and handsome, and kind. And he doesn't have to love you right away. Love takes time, and patience. But you'll never know unless you tell him."
Kremy was silent for a long moment, contemplating his mother's words.
"I'll...think about it," he said.
"Good," she smiled, kissing his cheek.
After dinner, Kremy and Gideon retired to his room, the genasi immediately sprawling on his bed and sighing contentedly.
"Man, I'm beat," he groaned.
[The way the light hit Gideon made him look so ethereally beautiful, more so than he already was.] Kremy could have stared at him forever, but he couldn't. That wasn't how the world worked.
"How come you were so quiet at supper?" Gideon asked.
"Was I?" Kremy asked, feigning innocence.
"Yeah," Gideon replied. "And you're quiet now. What's up?"
"I..."
What was he supposed to say? That he was jealous of his sister? That he was afraid Gideon would leave him for her? That he loved him?
"I'm sorry," he finally said. "I've just had a lot on my mind."
"Is there anything I can do to help?"
"I...I don't think so."
"Okay."
They were silent for a moment. Kremy sat at his desk, fidgeting with his quill, unsure of what to say.
"Hey," Gideon spoke up. "What was that story your mother told us about the dragon?"
"The one about the farmer?"
"Yeah, that one."
"Oh, well, the farmer had a daughter," Kremy began.
"Yeah, she was the one who went to the dragon," Gideon added.
"Yes. She had gone to the dragon because her family was starving. She had heard that dragons were very rich, and that they might be able to help. So, she went to the dragon, and begged for its help."
"What did the dragon do?"
"The dragon agreed to help. He gave the girl and her family a year's worth of food, and then told them to never return. He was a powerful dragon, and could not be killed, but he was not cruel."
"But what did the dragon do?"
"I was getting to that," Kremy chuckled.
"Sorry."
"It's alright. Now, the girl took the food back to her family, and they were grateful. They had plenty to eat for the rest of the year, and could focus on their work.
"But then, the girl heard that a powerful wizard was traveling through the area. She thought, 'if a dragon could help, a wizard would surely be able to.' So, she left her family behind, and set out to find the wizard."
"Did she find him?"
"She did. He was a kind man, and he agreed to help the girl. He was a very powerful wizard, and had lived a long time. He knew many things.
"So, the wizard set out with the girl, and together, they found the dragon's lair. The girl begged the dragon to spare her family, but the dragon was not so merciful. He told the girl that he would not help her unless she could defeat him in battle."
"Could she?"
"She tried. She was a brave girl, and a good fighter, but she was no match for the dragon. The wizard had seen this coming, and had a plan.
"He cast a spell, and turned the girl into a giant stone statue. The dragon could not harm her, and the wizard carried her back to her family.
"The family was shocked and surprised, but they were also grateful. They thanked the wizard, and the wizard promised to visit the family once a year to check on them."
"Wow," Gideon breathed. "That's quite a story."
"Yeah," Kremy murmured.
"Do you think the girl was happy?" Gideon asked.
"Huh?"
"In the story, was the girl happy?"
"I think she was. She got to save her family, and she didn't have to worry about them ever again."
"That's good," Gideon sighed.
There was silence for a long moment.
"Kremy, are you okay?"
"Y-Yeah," he replied, looking over at the genasi.
"Are you sure? You've been acting strange all day. Did something happen?"
"N-No," Kremy stuttered.
Gideon frowned, getting up from the bed and crossing the room. He sat down next to the half-elf, his brow furrowed with concern.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I'm fine," Kremy mumbled.
"You're not. Something's bothering you, I can tell."
"No, I'm fine."
"Kremy, please. Talk to me."
"Gid..."
"Please."
"It's nothing."
"Kremy."
"Okay, fine. You're going to think it's stupid."
"I doubt that."
"I...I'm jealous."
"Jealous? Of who?"
"You and my sister."
"What? Why would you be jealous of us?"
"Because," Kremy sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I-I love you, Gid. And I know you don't feel the same way, but I just can't stop thinking about you, and I can't stand the idea of losing you."
"Losing me? To your sister?"
"I-I'm not making any sense, am I?"
"Not really."
"I'm sorry. I-I shouldn't have said anything."
"No, it's okay. I'm glad you told me."
"You are?"
"Of course. Kre, I...I love you, too."
"Y-You do?"
"Yeah. For a while, actually."
"Really?"
"Mhm."
"But I'm just a boring, old half-elf. You could have anyone you wanted."
"Yeah, I could," Gideon replied. "But I want you."

People are simply too nice to me. I hear and comprehend the words they say when explaining why they’re nice to me but I don’t get it. I feel like you have to be a very exceptional person to be so kind to me. So anyways this is just a thanks to those couple people who are super kind for what seems to be 0 reason other than because they’re nice to people.

You uh getting some ideas for Aura and Omen?
Don’t look at me with those big ol eyes I’m SHY
Here’s an image of. The silly for your troubles
Tumblr media
that being said.
#I’m writing this all In the tags#cuz I hate being looked at#so I think I’m going with the idea that omen steals aura and then goes awol(??? is that how you spell that)#ANYWAYS some time before that her brain gets a little bit fucked up#so like the part of her brain that processes information from the eyes is a leetle bit messed up#so she can’t. really see very well even tho her eyes look fine#which causes her to become kinda well known for occasional friendly fire#cuz she just shoots what moves and looks unfriendly shaped#THEN. she is sent with a group to go to this planet and retrieve the aura ai#and she’s the first one to find it#idk what I want to happen here but in some way she gets Aura inside her head#and Auras like hey man ur brain is kinda fuckedup. want me to like. do something about that#so she’s able to give omen back her full vision via managing the signals#nd Omens brain is the only thing keeping her from going full on rampant and exploding (how does this work. fuck if I know I’ll figure it out#later. problem for future me :o) )#ANYWAYS they have this very symbiotic relationship but also it’s like very. codependent#so two fucked up ladies :)#and aura really doesn’t want to die so she’s fine with this whole thing.#her main purpose was to just keep people alive#and she failed that. so she’s gonna try her damn hardest to keep her new human alive#(insert the mind meld fuckery here)#is this deeply embarassing for the me? yes. but I am trying to be so brave about it

nano day 2 & 3 update
day 2
Total Word count: 1689; 1421 towards a fic, and 268 towards my main wip
Did a lot of handwriting so I wasn’t able to see exactly how much I wrote until I typed it up today (hence the late update)
day 3
Total Word count: 1603; 901 towards a fic, and 702 towards my main wip
I did two sprints towards my main wip and got ~350 words for both 20min sprints, im kinda proud of that ngl
I’m making steady progress and for the most part on track for that 50k which is kinda neat! (still not what I’m going for tho so i can’t let it get to my head lol)
but overall I’m feeling really good so far I’m excited to see what I accomplish tomorrow :D
