Hi it’s my birthday 🎉 I want to celebrate by helping out a cat cafe in Japan that I love very much and that could use any help they can get!!

If you’re able and willing, please donate something from their Amazon wishlist and I will draw something for you! ✨ Please either reply here or chat/ ask me telling me what you’ve donated (you can say cat litter, kitten food, etc. no proof of purchase necessary, I believe you). And then tell me what you’d like a drawing of! I would prefer characters from games/anime etc but it’s your choice.

Some background on the cafe: Familia is not so much a “cafe” but rather a stand in for shelters which don’t really exist other than local govt ones which are very limited in Japan. The owner of familia currently takes care of almost 50 cats, seeking a home for all of them.

The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He works tirelessly with community efforts to conduct TNR or rehome strays as well as on a country wide scale. It takes a lot to care for so many cats, so even if one person donates, I will be soooo happy 😭🥲💗💗💗

Hey gia!!! it seems like if you’re looking for retweets + images the best one to use is the app called twinote (I don’t personally use it that much because I’m a sucker for things Being The Same so I stick to the tweet generator thing I’ve always used which is tweetgen, but you can’t do retweets on that)

The texts I don’t really make anymore because the website I used to use added watermarks to their things :( it was called prankshit or something and it was GREAT but I literally can’t be bothered editing around watermarks they annoy me so much

My dear friend Allie Mason has authored her first published book ‘The Autistic Guide to Adventure’ - Illustrated by Ella Willis, so I just want to take a minute to talk about it here.

It’s a fantastic book targeted towards autistic tweens and teens featuring a full of a variety of activities to do. Though targeted towards an 8+ younger audience, I’m sure adults could benefit from and enjoy the activity recommendations as well.

It’s exactly what it says it is — a helpful guide on how to get involved in these activities and how you can navigate them as an autistic person.

Each activity has its own section and features content like:

‘Sensory Expectations’ [e.g sounds, visuals, textures, movements etc. — things you may encounter and want to be aware of before starting].

tips on ‘How To Get Started’, so you get a clear plan of action on how you can begin your new activity and navigate the adventures!

‘Support Recommendations’ — tips and suggestions for accommodations or preparations that might make the activity safe, more accessible, or more suited to your needs.

It also features some really cool sections such as interesting facts or interviews/ profiles/ anecdotal experiences around the activities from people who are actually autistic. It’s a great way for autistic young people to be able to read about other people just like them who are doing and enjoying these activities and know how they can do it too.

The activities cover a really wide range, so even with varying mobility levels, support levels, other disabilities, or specific sensitivities I think there’ll be an adventure right for everyone [or one that can be adapted].

I think this would also be a great resource for allistic parents with autistic children, you could even read it together. Sometimes it’s hard for parents to know what activities to do together with their neurodivergent kids, or even know where to start to broaden their kids’ interests/horizons (in activities), so I think this book could also be a great starting point for parents. It’s full of ideas that parents can suggest to their kids and details what to expect (sensory experiences) so relevant plans, accommodations, and/or sensory aids can be planned beforehand.

All children deserve the chance to have fun, experience new things, and enjoy the benefits of the outdoors if they can — this book aims to make that possible, making outdoor activities more accessible.

It would have been great to have had something like this during my youth too. Wanting to take part in these activities but not being able to simply because of not having enough information, knowing how to, or knowing what to expect can be really disheartening. So to see what this guide aims to do — making activities more accessible by giving all that information as well as encouraging interest — really brings a smile to my face.

I saw just how much effort Allie put into this book and just how much she wanted to create something that could benefit and help autistic youths. While I do not know Ella personally, it’s very clear they put equally as much effort into their lovely illustrations for this book.

I’ve unlocked a timeline based on @moondragon618’s Hybrid AU but canon-divergent. For now, I only remember Dream, but we’ll see if I end up remembering someone else. I (Tommy) was an avian, and Dream was an enderdragon hybrid.

I believe I was a reincarnation of @mcg-127’s Hybrids!Tommy, which is why I had internalised fear, hatred, and disgust for my own hybrid features, as well as memories of my past abuse caused by said features.

Dream was aware of my traumatic memories of my past life and it was trying to help me feel better about expressing my instincts, but what I didn’t know was that it was Its way of making me used to anything, so that It could get away with abusing, experimenting on, and even eating me.

It never made me file down my talons or suppress my instincts in any way, which always absolutely confused me because it felt Wrong.

Since the very beginning of the server, Dream was utterly fascinated with me. Even before it turned into an obsession, It saw some spark in me that no one else seemed to have, so It wished to play and study me more. Just like in canon, we fought in the disc war, Dream used a tunnel to get to my base, tried to steal my discs, and lived in my walls. It’d also sometimes leave me something small as a sign of Its presence, but it was more lighthearted than threatening. However, after the prison break, It’d leave threatening signs, feathers, and dead birds at the entrance to my house…

Dream called me ‘my little fledgling’, ‘my little songbird’, and ‘my treasure’.

It used exclusively It/Its because of Its God complex.

It enjoyed playing hide and seek or making me run away from It, and then finding/catching me. It’d often hurt me afterwards, but not always because It enjoyed confusing the shit out of me and then comforting me,,,

Dream enjoyed making purring sounds during our softer moments because it always made me vocalise as well, and we’d communicate like this for a bit,,,

When comforting me after a bad punishment, It’d hum the melody of Chirp or Wait and/or let out a purring sound because it always calmed me down (It picked that up from Techno btw).

Dream was very possessive and kept me in a house very, very far away from where anyone on the server lived. My room was made of obsidian because it reminded It of Its home, and I was even more precious to It than Its home :) And besides, it meant that I couldn’t escape easily because It’d hear every sound of mine :)

Dream adored preening my wings and It generally tried to be soft about it because It didn’t want to ruin the moment, but It’d often dig Its claws into my wings, just to elicit some sweet whimpers, and if It was lucky, some alarm calls as well :)
