Thinking about a canon complaint fic of two Shazam 6th dimensional imps tossing their popcorn at a screen they watched the recent world’s finest comics events on.

Like a little Shaz-a-Mite and Mite-y Marvel (twins for both the 40’s version and more modern Cap) talking about how they didn’t get invited to fight, that Black-Ada-Mite was there and not them, that Captain Marvel didn’t get to be one of the magical heroes helping and venting about the things other fans and myself as one complain about when it comes to Billy and current comics with him

Bc I heard we were getting a Shazamite, I’m pretty sure that was in the end notes of a Shazam comic from the current run, and I didn’t see him after rereading twice (if anyone else caught him, please show me my boi)

Also, just imagining Shaz-a-mite being a lot more detailed and having the modern spandexy suit with the light up thunder mark and hooded cape and Mite-y Marvel as the old 40’s cap with squinted closed eyes and they’re twins and one complaint they have is that their cousin Bat-Mite gets all the good stuff well they get Jack squat in comparison. It just feels funny

When Xie Lian finally learns who they are, he turns to fengqing apologetically and says seriously, “Feng Xin, Mu Qing, I’m so sorry. I thought they were you. If I’d known they were just kids I would have focused on protecting them and making sure they were safe more.”

Nan Feng and Fu Yao are in the background, outraged and offended that Xie Lian thinks they need to be protected by him. It does not matter how old these two are, Xie Lian will forever see them as kids to be protected. Fengqing are actually kinda touched bc 1) XL thought the kids were them and therefore not in need of protecting, trusting their skills. And 2) Xie Lian likes their kids and wants them safe, feeling protective of them.

Post-canon, Xie Lian kinda becomes Nan Feng and Fu Yao’s kooky grandpa who has weird and slightly horrifying stories that no one really wants to listen to. When getting ready for visits to Xie Lian, there’s a lot of “do we have to?” by the kids and Mu Qing replying with a clipped “yes.” They argue the entire way down to the mortal realm or wherever they’re meeting until they immediately shut up when they spot Xie Lian. This family cannot communicate normally. All their conversations are arguing.

Also, fengqing sent the kids down independently. Neither knew the other was doing it, nor decided to inform the other. They only found out about it when the kids got back from the mission, at which point fengqing went to each other like "you sent Nan Feng/Fu Yao to help His Highness? What, do you not trust His Highness' capabilities or something!?" and the other is all "Bitch, you did the same thing!" They then fight about it. Of course.

And, because of this little non communication, Nan Feng and Fu Yao didn't know the other would be there too. The reason this matters is because the two of them end up being sent on a lot of missions together (they were trained together in their youth and fengqing knew they would have each other's backs in dangerous situations and that they knew each other's moves as well as their own), and were getting sick of it, so when their dad told them to do this, they did so with the impression that the other wouldn't be there. This is why Nan Feng and Fu Yao keep telling Xie Lian to send the other away. They do not want to do another mission with their stupid twin. (They still always drag each other into trouble together. They're ride or die, but will complain the entire time. just like their parents)

As I was thinking about fengqing's relationship and their kids in regards to the other Heavenly Officials, this is what I got: Not a lot of Heaven actually knows about it.

Feng Xin and Mu Qing are known to always be fighting and arguing, so if they hear rumors that the two are together, they laugh it off and go "yeah, right" with a roll of their eyes. It's simply unbelievable. There are also a lot of Middle Court Officials, and the gods can't be concerned to remember every single one of them. And Junior Officials also switch which palace they work for sometimes, so Fu Yao and Nan Feng switching between the Palace of Nan Yang and the Palace of Xuan Zhen isn't that odd especially since fengqing fight so much, they might also fight over Junior Officials. The most that line of questioning goes is "Wait, I thought you were with the Palace of Xuan Zhen?" "No, I'm with the Palace of Nan Yang." or vice versa. Of course fengqing's Junior Officials know the truth, but the two Palaces will always have a friendly rivalry with each other. If that "friendly rivalry" looks like death matches, that's not their problem, that's just how their palaces do it with each other. Like an extended family that is very competitive and ends up with everyone in the hospital at the end of the family reunion.

Of those in Heaven that do know that Nan Feng and Fu Yao really are fengqing's kids, most don't know that fengqing are still together. They know that at some point in the past fengqing were together and had two kids, but think they're now a divorced couple in a nasty fight over custody. After all, Nan Feng and Fu Yao both have rooms in both the Palace of Nan Yang and the Palace of Xuan Zhen and are being constantly passed between the two palaces in cycles and Mu Qing and Feng Xin are always fighting. Looking at it in that regard, it makes perfect sense to them. Of course the two generals have such a nasty relationship and can't get along for the life of them, they're exes!

Those that know the whole truth, that Nan Feng and Yu Yao are fengqing's kids and that fengqing are still very much together and in love, are very few. Ling Wen knows simply because she knows everything and she also had to go through the paperwork of the constantly changing palaces of the kids. Eventually they work out a system for them so that they don't have to file official reports of switching palaces all the time. (She would have killed them if they didn't (they knew this and so were quick to figure out a solution)) Pei Ming also knows. He's laughing about. He doesn't really understand how their relationship works and how they haven't killed each other yet, but is like "🤷‍♂️ whatever works for them." Shi Wudu knows because of the Three Tumors, but honestly doesn't care and spares it no thought. I think Shi Qingxuan would also know. He would also think it's common knowledge and therefore not gossip worthy or worth a mention. I also think he would get along with the twins.

he may come up to you on some sunny callin you icy hot 2.0 n stuff but if you assert your dominance and show him you deserve respect then he lets go of that quickly

he might find you a bit more annoying at first

-stayed in touch with stan and ford all these years, he’s very close to them. they’re still around but much older and calmer

-so, yes, he’s covered in tats. yk that fanart we allllll have seen? yea they pretty much look like that, some weird ones, he rlly likes patchwork style tattoos

-probably has one on his chest or stomach/lower pelvis tbh, he’s a quirky dude

-mabel probably dared him to do something like that because she thought he’d chicken out from the pain but he did it

-him and mabel have matching tattoos that was dippers idea, dipper has a pine tree on his ankle and mabel has the shooting star on hers

-his pain tolerance is definitely pretty high given all the stuff he’s been through

-he decided to grow his hair a bit longer because he likes it that way. he enjoys being able to put it into a messy half up lil bun

-as for shaving his face, he likes to be clean. as much as he was excited about chest hair or whatever, once there started to be more hair coming in, he got tired of it and started keeping clean. maybe some stubble on his face once in a while if he’s lazy

-he has rosacea he mistakenly took for acne when he was growing into his teens, so he just naturally has a reddened face, probably from all the stress. aside from it being a medical condition, it’s rather cute

-he’s also in the sun a lot in california, so that’s what caused that and his darkening freckles.

-he’s good with his skin though, he likes to just keep himself clean, that’s it.

-he also wears chapstick, but only the cherry flavor from the chapstick brand.

-likes jewelry so he wears a bunch of different necklaces and bracelets and rings. he changes his necklace like every week, it’s always some kinda rock in wire or dog tag. also pierced his ears so he wears small studs or smthn

-he decided against going to college but instead has his own interactive websites for people interested in the weird and crazy supernatural, this all started from a blog he created himself about the weird things he’s researched.

-he’s thought about studying computer science, or becoming a teacher for philosophy or even psychology, something like that, but he now thinks college will get in the way of his personal research, so he finds things off of that

-he does a lot of his own research on these things anyway because he’s still interested in it

-for an actual job to make a steady income he’s been working at an amazon warehouse for a couple of years

-dabbled in smoking weed but it’s not for him, he’s too paranoid

-he has a lot of friends but most of them are online

-you thought the awkwardness was just part of the preteens phase, well it wasn’t

-he’s still pretty awkward but i guess some girls find that more attractive as you get older and not gross

-also i think dipper is straight, but he’s still pretty flamboyant.

-he’s definitely tested the theory of him being not straight though, that’s all imma say

-he’s better at talking to girls, especially now that he knows what he really wants to do and who he is, the confidence in himself was the key

-sometimes he’s shy, but doesn’t have a problem smiling or saying hi or complimenting someone

-he’s had a couple of relationships, done a handful of things and tried stuff out, but he still hasn’t found the one

-he’s the kinda guy that needs to find someone who’s ok with him being very private and independent sometimes, and he finds that hard

-as much as he can be distant, he still wants a long term partner eventually

-he also does know he has a lot of his own issues to figure out to do that, because he knows he can get distant, and so he has traumas to work out and he’s aware of that

-at heart, he is very much so a lover boy though

-his top love language from the 5 would be acts of service. he may get distant and stuff but he still thinks about you a lot and what you need or what you’re doing, like bringing you soup or tissues when you’re sick, switching your clean clothes to the dryer, simple stuff like picking up after you if you forget, or even teaching you new things he’s learned about because he likes to share that

-in order of the 1-5 from most to least, acts of service, gift giving, quality time, words of affirmation, and physical touch.

-just because it’s the last doesn’t mean he doesn’t like it, he just shows the others more.

-he’s perfectly fine with cuddling and kissing all day in bed on a lazy rainy day, all gloomy outside during a thunderstorm and you both are cozy in bed, nice and warm form body heat and in and out of sleep.

We went inside and this was definitely a family reunion, I saw my two daughters already playing with Isayah and Lena in the backyard which was very well decorated

Me and Kylian greeted everyone then we went our separate ways, I went to talk to Melissa and Fayza while he went to talk to his father and older brother, Ethan was busy playing fifa but he did come now and then to talk for a big and play with the kids

Then it was time to eat and we all went to the table, I was sitting next to Kyky with Kalina on my lap since she needed help to eat, the adults were talking about everything when the topic of kids came up

“So Kyks and y/n when are you finally having a little boy for Isayah to play with” Wilfred asked us then everyone turned to us

“Well we’ll have to wait another 3 months to figure that out” Kylian said while holding my hand and looking at me smiling

“Omg congratulations” everyone started cheering and asking questions when was I due how long we had know about it and everything like that, the kids knew about it they’re just good at keep secrets

After we all settled down we started eating and making small talk it was nice

Then me and Kylian went back outside to have some alone time while the kids were inside with their cousin

I sat on his lap as he hugged my waist, we were just looking at the stars

“Are you happy” I asked him out of the blue, I don’t think he heard me because he looked at me confused so I repeated “are you happy with you life rn”

“Of course I am mon amour” he replied and kissed my temple, I smiled and looked at him “I am very happy that I have you and our kids our three beautiful girls”

“That look exactly like you” I said and we both laughed “your genes are very strong”

“Yes they are, I hope this next one looks like you tho” he said and I got shy so I hid in his neck, he laughed and made me look at him

“I always wanted my baby to have your eyes, thank you for putting up with me, for encouraging and believing in me in times that even I didn’t believe in, and thank you for giving me our family our beautiful family I couldn’t have been more grateful, I couldn’t have asked for a better wife” he said all this while making eye contact with me

I was a crying mess atp but it was the hormones I swear

We both hugged and then we kissed, I love my husband, have I ever told you that

“Thank you for loving me and our children, we couldn’t have asked for a better dad” I said and kissed him again “I hope we have a boy this time, I also need a momma’s boy” I smiled and he smiled back

After that we continued talking about our future and the future baby

I answered this in a different ask -- hadn't posted it before I received this one, lol -- but it was confirmed in Quantic Dream's 1st Twitch livestream. The same stream they confirmed that Niner's canon name is 'Connor.' It happened only moments apart.

For those of you who haven't seen it: he's canonically, "not likable, not sweet, but intimidating and scary" as well as "a bad guy."

Reasons Why Reed900 is Popular

This will be a long list...

Niner used to be a blank slate before QD told us what his personality was, so ppl could mold him into whatever they wanted.

Some ppl started shipping Reed900 after learning about Niner's canon personality as they realized he could be perfect for Gav.

Some ppl find it more interesting to 'redeem' characters than to write about goody-two-shoes, and canonically, both Gav/Niner are questionable morality-wise.

Some ppl are into 'enemies to lovers' and/or 'the evil power couple.'

In terms of backstories, Gav/Niner are (mostly) blank slates. All we really know about Gav's backstory is that he's "garnered the hatred of his coworkers," hates Hank, hates androids, recently got his scar (confirmed by Neil Newbon + the fact that the scar isn't white,) and doesn't sleep well (eye bags.) All we know about Niner's backstory is that he's the upgraded version of Con.

Happenstance.

Niner is Con's identical twin appearance-wise (aside from the eyes) and some ppl were intrigued by the conflict of Gav falling in love with someone sharing the face with someone he hates.

Some ppl wanted to explore the conflict where Gav had to learn how to think of androids as individuals when realizing how different Niner and Con are.

Some ppl wanted to ship Gav with Con, but Con was already widely shipped with someone else.

Some ppl wanted to ship Gav with Con, but knew it would never work... so they settled for a character who looked similar.

Technically relates to the point above, but Sixty wasn't 'unique enough' for a lot of ppl. Niner was. Both his eye color and outfit are different from Con's.

Some ppl wanted to explore Gav's character in a romantic setting and just picked Niner to do it with.

Both Neil (Gav's actor) and Bryan Dechart (Niner's actor) are very interactive with the fans whilst expressing they have nothing against the ship.

Both Neil and Bryan have essentially 'promoted' the ship by bringing attention to a popular Reed900 fan film.

Neil has interacted with the actors of said fan film on at least one Twitch stream by playing the game with them.

Some ppl started shipping them bc of said fan film.

Some ppl came across (and liked) fan works.

Some ppl think they're hot together.

Some ppl self-insert into Gav/Niner and essentially ship them with themselves (narcissistic, pathetic, and creepy AF.)

Some ppl wanted to 'punish' Gav for simply being mean to fan-favorite Con. They use Niner as an insult to injury sharing Con's face to abuse Gav -- mentally/physically/s*xually -- and put Gav in all kinds of humiliating/awful situations (sadists.)

Some ppl ship them for clout. At least one popular Reed900 3D artist has admitted they couldn't care less about canon Gav and the ship itself. They just care about exposure and how many likes/reblogs, etc. they get posting about the ship bc it's popular.

Those are the reasons I can think of rn.

Hmm honestly, I’ve not put much thought about Klaus’ marriage prospects. I think a daughter would be more favourable in that sense, because as you alluded to, the ‘Riddle’ name doesn’t carry much weight, and he’s been brought up as Granger, which carries just as little. However, a daughter would settle into a prominent old family far better. So, yes, in that sense at least, I do think Tom would prefer a daughter.

As for grandkids… well. The more loyal followers, the better, and who could possibly be more loyal than a band of littles who adore their PopPop?

As for Amortentia, hmmm. I don’t know. I don’t really imagine him using it, but I do see the Imperius curse coming into things. More on that later.

Belphie rushed over to his twin and asked profusely if he was okay, due to him looking as if he was going to fall over from sheer stress.

Beel nodded and stayed silent as Satan explained to the rest of his brothers the two different circumstances in which you hear a banshee cry. This caused an uproar and Belphie began to question his brother with a concerned expression.

Beel answered every question his twin had, but not once did he dare to look at him. And as he finished the story of what had happened, he could feel Belphie’s eyes burn a hole in his head due to how much he was staring at him.

“So you’ve heard one cry before…you’ve never mentioned anything about that…” Belphie said, stepping closer to his twin.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to keep it from you, I don’t want you to be upset”

“Beel, you misunderstand! I’m not mad at you at all, none of this was your fau-“

“If I had known what that was then I could’ve told Lucifer and maybe we wouldn’t have lost Lilith…” Beel had said.

Beel’s voice echoed through Lucifer’s study as all his brothers looked at him with mixed reactions. None of them had ever heard him raise his voice in such a way, and it shocked most of them into silence, including his twin.

Asmo, Mammon, and Levi looked to you for assistance after his outburst, while Satan looked at Beel with an expression that held a mixture of hurt and resentment.

Belphie finally looked at Beel with a sad expression and furrowed his eyebrows slightly. “Beel, you need to understand that none of this was your fault. It was never your fault to begin with.”

“You don’t understand. I had the chance to change things but I didn’t. I didn’t come through for you when you needed me, now because of that all of you have to suffer because I never said anything. I caused this Belphie”

“Beel..” his twin said with such sorrow.

You’ve heard the twins talk about things and slightly argue with each other before, but they always end up getting over it or solving the situation before it gets worse. This time you're not so sure.

The dejected atmosphere that engulfed Lucifer’s study was so thick you began to feel suffocated. And you could tell you weren’t the only one; as the rest of the brothers watched the twins speak, each began to slowly back away towards you for reassurance.

“Ever since the night of the dinner party and what Lucifer said, I keep thinking about what happened…and I wish I could go back and change things, so that this never happened in the first place.”

“Beel..!”

“We wouldn’t have lost Lilith, Belphie…and you wouldn’t have had to suffer so much.”

“What do you mean..?” Belphie asked softly as he looked at his twin with an uneasy expression.

“I know you feel guilty because you survived and she didn’t…”

At this point Belphie stood there in silence as he looked at the ground for an answer, but nothing came to mind. This throat ran dry.

“Beel please look at me…” Belphie asked, stepping closer to his twin. He realized that during their whole conversation Beel hadn’t looked him in the eyes once.

Beel however took a few weary steps back as Belphie approached him. His gaze continued to be locked on the floor as he stood there silently avoiding his twin.

“Beel, please just look at me, that’s all I’m asking right now. Please.” Belphie pleaded.

Beel shook his head as his gaze reminded on the floor. You swore you could see tears begin form in his eyes.

You watched the youngest demon brother completely break down in front of you when his twin continued to ignore his pleads. You had never seen Belphie like that…ever. This was a new side of him you were now experiencing, but you can’t say you exactly like the broken expression he was currently wearing.

“You can’t even look me in the eyes can you?”

“I’m sorry Belphie…it should have been me, not Lilith-“

“Shut up! Don’t you dare say that again. Don’t you dare think that ever, you hear me, Lilith decided to fight that day because she wanted to, just like all of us. So don’t you ever give me that crap you hear!” Belphie screamed.

Beel’s eyes widened slightly and he finally looked up to see his twin with an upset expression as tears streamed down his face.

“Belphie-“

“Enough Beel…all that matters as of right now is that you’re here with all of us okay?”

After Belphie spoke, you then added to his statement and reassured the Avatar of Gluttony, as tears streamed down his face when you spoke to him softly.

The rest of his brothers, including Satan, assured him that what happened was meant to happen, and that all that matters right now in the “present” is that they all have each other. Belphie smiled and hugged Beel, claiming he wouldn’t trade anything in the world for him as Beel tightly hugged him back while a few stray tears fell down his cheeks.

Soon all of you joined the group hug and smiled happily as Beel wiped the tears from his eyes and thanked everyone.

Anw, YES its so true that Mattheo pretended to suck bc cool guy trend, but I DO think that he’s capable of doing them all!! Character I Think is Overrated: Idk I don’t get the hype behind literally any of the side characters like like the Big 3; I also think outside of aesthetics, Mirko is overrated, I think because Touya is often seen as something he isn’t (someone fighting for everyone to live how they want—he’s not) I think he’s gotten to be a little overrated. He’s still one of my top favorites but I tend to disagree with how a lot of people view him

Favorite Ship/Pairing: IzuOcha is good, BakuCami makes me laugh, TogaChacko is also good

but yeah when it comes to geto his devotion is just so. abundant. there’s so much of it. and i think the main difference is that teen suguru is good at hiding that devotion, making sure it doesn’t spill out too suddenly…. maybe even a little ashamed of it? of how much he feels? but geto doesn’t hide it at all. his love for you is almost overwhelming because he’s just so intense about it. promises you the world and is willing to give it to you….. that’s the kinda guy he is. at his core he’s always always always fought on the side of those he loves, so sincerely that he breaks completely when he realizes that being a sorcerer means watching those loved ones die for the sake of people he doesn’t even know. geto would devour the world for you.

but !!! i do also think that he’s suchhh a softie :c which might seem a bit out of place after i just said his devotion is overwhelming LMAO but. he just has that contrast!! it’s easy to think that romances w him would be angsty, but imo that’s only true if his s/o isn’t on his side... if you are then he turns into the softest man on the planet. he wants so badly to be a good partner. even if he doesn’t think he could ever be a good man… and even though his devotion is overwhelming i think the fact that he’s open w it kinda makes him… mellow out? that depends on how much you feed into it though….

So! Yeah! My own TMNT! Woo! Short synopsis is that this takes place in 2037, because futuristic stuff is my jam.

TL;DR: I mashed 2012 with Rise and this spawned out of it.

Leo: He’s a yellow bellied slider and is the second oldest (15)He’s 6’2 in height, being the tallest, and he’s very cocky and confident in his leadership skills (he’s not)! Very respectful though and sometimes patient (emphasis on sometimes).

Donnie: The twin to Leo (denies it) but is the third oldest! Standing at 6’0, he’s a southern painted turtle, and is the second strongest out of them all! He’s much more sarcastic (on purpose and on not) and is a giant lovable dork when allowed to infodump.

Raph: Surprise, he’s the youngest (14)! He is hotheaded sometimes, but it’s mostly rare and he’s just very…quiet. He for the most part rages internally, and he looks up to Leo a lot. He’s the strongest out of all the turtles! He likes to gloat to Mikey that yes, he might be younger, but he’s still taller! He is a northern red-bellied cooter.

Mikey: And thus this leaves Mikey as the oldest (16)! He’s the shortest (out of the turtles) at 5’8, and he’s a total goofball! He loved to goof off and is a very irresponsible older brother, though he cares deeply for all of his brothers and does look out for them when he can. He’s the local therapist, essentially. He’s also a spotted box turtle!

Casey Jones: GOONGALA! Casey is 16, and is 5’6 in height! He’s a vigilante, living among the streets for the most part, but he has a younger sister and dad waiting for him at home! He’s a but if a troublemaker, but knows when to pay attention and go serious when needed. (Fun fact: his mask is a Jason mask he found in the trash! He painted on all the cool marks.)

April O’Neil: She’s very punk and is age 15! She’s very much a rebel has been in and out of jobs, all for her parents, of course. She’s the gremlin sister the turtles never knew they needed! She takes inspiration from old stuff from the 80s and early 2000s era for music and closing wise.

Agh, anyways a fun little thing I made up is that Mikey dipped everyone’s masks in neon paint so they all glow in the dark now. (The whole aesthetic is Neon and Punk if it isn’t obvious, trying to go in that direction.)
