List of things in Falsettos that Killed Me ™️

**This is based on Mad Theatre of Tampa’s production which I saw on Friday, not the 2016 revival 

I basically decided to compile a bullet list of my favorite little moments the cast added  in (they had SUCH good chemistry ;-;)

-Whizzer held Jason protectively during the Slap, it was genuinely so fucking heartbreaking and cute

-’I’ve improved, or else the hydrants moved’ *Cordelia hysterically laughs* ‘SEE, I’M FUNNY!’ *silence*

-During act two, Marvin and Whizzer are in the hospital bed (it’s located in the foreground) during other scenes, and they’re doing little things like snuggling and talking, at one point Marvin is flipping through a magazine with him. You can tell he doesn’t really get it, but he’s so desperate to spend time with Whizzer before it runs out. Even though stuff was happening with Mendel/Trina/Jason during Canceling the Bar Mitzvah, my eyes were just glued to Whizzer and Marvin, it was so cute and sweet.

-After Father to Son, Marvin extended his hand out to Jason, they made eye contact for a brief moment, and then Jason ran to him and hugged him. Everyone was crying

-This isn’t really an acting decision or anything but Evan (Whizzer)’s long luscious hair is so important to me and I didnt think I needed long haired Whiz but now idk if I could see it any other way. He was also flamboyant to the nth degree (after meeting him afterwards I can conclude it wasn’t even acting, he’s just that perfect for the role)

-In a similar way Markus (Marvin) was honestly the perfect Marvin, both in looks and voice/acting. He was really scruffy looking in a perfectly dad way and his voice was super deep (that vibrato was killer too) -Sam (Jason) was very reminiscent of Anthony Rosenthal, he was so so good. If that kid keeps acting he’s def gonna end up on Broadway someday.

-SPEAKING of Jason, during act 1 he was wearing a Star Wars shirt, which I thought was adorable and time-appropriate BUT THEN in act 2 he was wearing an Empire Strikes Back shirt Fuck the deep meaningful symbolism, that shit was so clever LOL

-Before the show started, they were playing music and I feel like someone made a Whizzer playlist because both It’s Raining Men and Dancing Queen played 

-After the show, I Am What I Am from La Cage Aux Folles was playing, and it caused me to immediately burst back into a sob

-During The Games I Play, Whizzer was crying. Like, tears streaming down his face.

-THEY USED THE HAIRLINE LINE IN THE BASEBALL GAME

Oscar was too warm and tired for this. He stood in front of a camera, smelling like hairspray and some sort of spray the makeup artist had put on his face, while he was asked all of the ‘Grill the Grid’ questions. 

“That’s it for ‘Grill the Grid’,” she explained. “But this year we have a new segment.”

“Oh yeah?” he questioned, his interest piqued. 

“Yeah, it’s called ‘Anything but F1’,” she smiled. “Your topic is Y/n Y/l/n’s career,” she chuckled. 

Oscar smiled. “This is going to be easy.”

“Will she kill you if you don’t get full marks?” she laughed. 

Oscar pondered. “Probably not?” 

“Alright then. Ready? Pressure is on.”

He nodded. 

“What was Y/l/n’s first role on Broadway?” 

“Matilda,” he nodded. Y/n Y/l/n, his girlfriend, you, also an EGOT winning actor, the youngest there’s ever been. 

“Correct! How old was Y/l/n when she made her Broadway debut?”

“Well, she was 8 in Matilda on the West End and did 2 years of that, so 10?” he answered. 

“Correct! How old was she when she played Sally Bowles, making her the youngest to have ever played her on a Broadway stage?” 

“She was 17.”

“Correct! How old was she when she got her first Tony?” 

“11 years old.”

“Correct!” she smiled. “What Disney princess did she play?” 

“Huh?” he questioned, not knowing that you’d voiced a disney princess. “She’s voiced a Disney princess?” 

She nodded. 

“In a Disney film?”

She nodded again. “Think about it.”

“Does she sing in it?”

“The princess does sing,” she explained. “But Y/l/n did also write a song for it.”

Oscar was stumped. “Can I come back to it?” 

“Sure,” she shrugged, moving on to the next one. “What was her first feature film?”

“Lés Mis,” he answered. “She played Cosette.”

“Correct! What happened at the 2013 oscars?”

Oscar chuckled. “I think Jennifer Lawrence fell over and took Y/n with her?”

“Correct! What is her most streamed song?”

“Does this include recordings she was a part of or just her solo career or the band too?”

“One of those is fine, but if you can give me an answer for all though, we’ll give you an extra point.”

“So,” he started explaining. “Y/n’s most streamed solo single is probably American Teenager, her most streamed band single is probably BABY SAID, and her most streamed cast recording was probably Wicked, or Hadestown.”

“Correct, and it is Wicked.”

As he explained his answers, his trainer and others in the room started to laugh. He knew everything about you. He was so down-bad it was almost embarrassing, but they understood it anyway. You’d been together since you were 14, you were 23 now. You get to know a lot about a person in 9 years, especially from teenage years to being a young adult. 

“What record did she break by winning an Oscar in 2018?” 

Oscar smirked and winked at the camera. “She’s the youngest person ever to gain an EGOT.”

“What school did she teach at in her early years?”

Oscar raised an eyebrow. “How old was she?”

“Ages 8-12, she taught here on and off, and not many people know about it since she didn’t go into that field of the arts.”

He groaned, trying desperately to think. “The Royal Ballet in London!” He exclaimed, finally remembering. 

“Correct! Next question, how many Tony awards does she have?”

“Oh shit they’re on the mantel at home…” he muttered to himself, trying to count them in his head. “5?”

“Correct. Who has more trophies?”

Oscar chuckled. “I have more trophies, but she has more awards.”

“Alright, how many Emmys does she have?”

“1, which she won this year for her role in the Bear.” 

“Correct, how many Broadway or West End shows has she been a part of? You get a bonus point for naming them all.”

“Oh alright, so Matilda, Annie, Into the Woods, Hamilton, Heathers, Spring Awakening, Mamma Mia!, Moulin Rouge!, Cabaret, Six, Parade, Hadestown, Chicago, Wicked, and right now she’s doing Lés Miserables for the first time on a stage,” he explained. “So that was… 15?”

“Just one more?” she hinted. 

Oscar’s face fell. “What? What else has she done?” he asked out loud. “I said Wicked?”

She nodded. 

“Did I say Mamma Mia!?” 

She nodded. 

“Did I say Phantom of the Opera?”

“No, you didn't! Congratulations, bonus point awarded. What has she said is her dream role?”

He took a deep breath. “It’s going to be really bad if I get this wrong, isn’t it? Alright, so, she has always wanted to play Ms. Honey in Matilda,” he watched as the interviewer shook her head. “Shit, alright. Any hints?”

“She said it would be the only way to get her back into a specific show,” she hinted. 

“Oh! Emcee!” he cheered. “God, how could I forget that?”

“Well done! Alright, one final question, what song did she sing at the 2023 grammy awards, where she debuted her first single after ‘LISTEN’, her band, went on hiatus?”

He smirked. He was there for that performance. He was sitting in the crowd as you sang. He got to take you home and congratulate you. He got to be the proud boyfriend all night. He loved it. It was one of his most fond memories. “She sang ‘That’s So True’. I was there.”

“The infamous kiss picture,” she winked at him. He nodded, a smug smile on his face. “So, going back to the other question, what Disney princess did Y/l/n play?” 

“Oh shit yeah, it was animated, yeah?”  

“Not necessarily,” she hinted. 

“Ariel!” he exclaimed. “Ariel, of course!”

She chuckled. “Congratulations, you know the most about Y/n Y/l/n’s career out of anyone I’ve ever met.”

“One would hope,” he chuckled.

I saw your answer for the ua sending kids to danger, especially war, and I raise you a different possibility (100% speculation on my part) "can we say for sure the others schools were asked the same thing but said no?"

Yes. We dont know anything about the others schools. Maybe they offer and Hori never show as we saw them entering in the war part 2: the eletrical bangaloo....but to be fair, it would be hard for them to sit in class and doing homework as war is literally in their grounds, streets and so forth.

But on part 1. We dont see the others students there. So again, my especulation, what if they had put feets down and said no?

But Nezu said yes? I can think of a few reasons for that. (Keep in mind I dont think Nezu is a smart as Hori and the fandom wants us to think)

1) could have been a power play of sort. "Only mys students can handle this" which well...could work as Nezu is not human and doesnt seem to care about the students on a whole (remmeber Mina and Kami vs Nezu? How fair was that?)

2) he genuinely thought his students would be an asset to the heroes and said ok. Which makes me believe even more he doesnt care for his students's safety.

3) he was forced. Ok, what could have made him agree to this? Blackmail comes to mind but what secret is si damn important you are willing to send kids to war?

Those are my top 3 reasons. And not sure if is canon this but I think the class A1 didnt know they were sent to a war...if this is true, then is anothet adult(non human) who failed Izu.

Like MHA is an accidental dystopia.

The thing is with Nezu is the age old standard of Int/Wis; Nezu is book smart, he has a lot of knowledge, facts, and ability to apply those facts to make a thing happen. That's Intelligence, the ability to use your mind, and he's probably only has even faintest hint of competition in his sheer Int score with Dr. Diabolus Ex Machina.

Wisdom, on the other hand, is when you go, 'But should I do this'?

At a memetically extreme example, a High Int, Low Wis character could find a door somewhere, decide to open it, and make a siege engine out of, I don't know, hamburgers and coat hangers to bust it open. This is certainly a thing they could do, and it'd work because they are, in fact, that spot.

Meanwhile, the character with higher (any) Wisdom would walk up to the door... and then try to open it like a normal person.

Intelligence is ability to use your mind, and Wisdom is what tells you how you should use your mind, and when you look at Nezu, you only really see Intelligence, and then no one in story ever seems to question his decisions, really, because he's really smart, but there's a real question if he uses his intelligence well? Because there are a lot of 'I can do this, but no one, including me, ever asked if I should do this' kinds of choices in UA, and if we're not just blaming it on bad writing, all of that comes down to Nezu, in the end. The literal cities they just... have? The robots that probably have killed people? The Sports Festival? All of those are thing with very questionable elements that UA does anyways, seemingly because they can and no one's ever stopped them from doing it.

That's looking at the question from the angle of 'Nezu, while well meaning, made a bad call'. There is, however, one other major option, and it starts with this: why does Nezu run a school? On a fundamental level, I'm not sure Nezu's goal in running UA is for the students, so much as he views the students as a step towards his goal.

Unironically, he's a sadist who enjoys low-key torturing human beings because of past trauma, which... before anything else, begs a question: is it just low-key torture he likes? Or is he just practical enough to realize than anything more would be more trouble than it's worth?

But, beyond that problem, let's look at his position: he's the head of UA, the biggest, bestest school for Heroes, which is a job that comes with a lot of publicity/power, which, inevitably, rolls back to him. His job allows him massive amounts of control over the development of the cutting edge of heroism, who by dint of their fame and success influence other heroes, all of which collectively influences Japanese society as a whole by a pretty significant degree.

Meanwhile, Nezu is: brilliant, deeply traumatized, likes torturing, and through that defacto controlling, humans. He's also not a human, and takes pains at times to point out that others are humans and he's not, while also having assumably inhuman instincts and priorities; almost certainly he has some level of anti-human bias.

There's... there's an obvious correlation here. Fundamentally, Nezu is a character who seems to be made to be complicated, imperfect, with dark depths to him. The way he's written, Hori clearly doesn't want him to be, but, well, he writes a lot of deeply flawed characters we're supposed to find no wrong with.

If you look at Nezu that way, where he views students more as an asset, or an investment, than as, well, students, or as people, then your point takes on a different light. Looking at it with cold logic, the students can contribute to the various conflicts; even if they die, for the greater good of society (which he lives in and benifits from), heroism as a career (which he is in a position to benefit from greatly, as well as influenced greatly), and quite frankly as a living being on Japan/Earth, that cost is more than worth the price if they help support the status quo; its not like there's not going to be more next year, right?

And that's the thing that really interests me; what the hell was Hori thinking when he made Nezu? With Bakugou and Endeavour, for example, you can see where they started off one way, and went another? Nezu though? His entire point as a character seems to be firmly as the 'nice but somewhat manipulative' principal, but it's a waste of his fundamental characteristics. Did he have a different role in the prototype? Because if I was writing Nezu as a character, here's what I'd write him as:

An enemy. Not evil, not a villain, but a obstacle for Izuku to surpass in UA; it's not that he's bigoted, like Aizawa is (or at least to the same extent), he just well and truly doesn't care about people and what they do as long as his bottom line is met. And Izuku isn't there to be a new hero, like Bakugou, about fame and wealth, he doesn't fit. Worse yet, if we're working off of the original, 'Quirkless Hero' framework? Fundamentally, he is a threat to the concept of heroes that is established, that makes people want to think outside the box, and the thing is? Nezu likes the box. He's one of the people who designed it; he'd like everyone to stay in the box, please and thank you.

There's this epic story we're never going to get of Izuku being a little revolutionary, fighting against the heroic establishment to change heroism for the better and for the rights of the Quirkless, and his first major enemies are: Bakugou, the bully, Aizawa, the biased teacher who enables Bakugou and attacks Izuku, and Nezu, who enables all of them, and barely gives a shit about Izuku at all but would absolutely murder him in a heartbeat if he thought he could get away with it, but is resigned to fact he can't just kill people because they mildly irk him.

To your last point, though, fundamentally MHA is exactly a dystopia, by design; it's dystopian nature is one of the main causes for almost all conflicts in the story, from the villains, to the heroes, to Izuku's core personality traits, but for some reason Hori got really scared to admit that so he covered all the bars and locks with confetti... only after he got all the ways he purposefully made it a dystopia looking all harmless and fun, he missed all the ways he accidently made it a dystopia. To this day, I'm still not sure if he designed the heroic pay system, what little of it we know, to be purposefully that fucked up, or he just did some basic work to support what happens in the story and missed how deeply disturbing those implications were.

2. What's something about your OC that people wouldn't expect just from looking at them? - That he is an all powerful, ancient god of ice, someone that spend more years than he would care to remmeber, being someone people were worried would not be happy with them.

4. When scared, does your OC fight, flee, freeze or fawn? - He would fight these days. When he was still learning how to deal with emotions, he would panic, and then probably just freeze everything around him.

6. How easily could your OC be convinced to do something that goes against their moral compass? - Pretty much impossible these days, he knows to well where he stands on things.

8. Would your OC ostensibly be able to get away with murder? - As a god, probably yes.

10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC? - Probably a full fantasy one, where his and Chris's story isn't set in a sims world, and the way they meet would be different.

12. Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways? - Nope, it doesn't lie in his nature to be.

14. How does your OC want to be seen by other characters? - The good, kind dad friend, that you can just come to with any question you have and be listened too and given some advice that will help you out.

16. What is your OC's pain tolerance like? - Very high, its again part of being a god. As an ice god though they are somewhat vunerable to burns

18. Is your OC more cold and detached or up close and personal? - It depends a little on how he feels about you. He can be very up close, but to some people, he can easily feel detatched.

20. Does your OC have a tendency to get jealous? If so, how does this manifest? - Surprisingly yes. He hasn't had many reasons to feel that feeling, but it manifests with him becoming sad, and often he pulls away to think.

22. What character alignment would you consider your OC to be? - I think slightly caothic good, the caothic side coming from the fact that he is a god, and can for instance eat someone if he feels their worthy of his wrath.

23. What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions? - I guess the one path he could have taken was to not enter a BC, which of course would have let him wonder the world without guidance, and I can't see that go very well. I can however see them meeting due to well.. a paniced god kills people. (this may be my idea in the rewrite of their story I am ever so slowly trying to work on)

no bc it's also been. YEARS since i was Really into dr (and i was. REALLY into dr KSJDF. yeah it's been like three years huh). but YESSS your taste is so good. my favorites if i remember correctly were uhhhh hina and sayaka from thh for SURE. there were a bunch more who i liked but those two were the ones i ended up being not normal at all about. and then AKANE akane was like. i loved akane. AND YESSS sonia nevermind the character of ALL time. i remember i liked hajime a lot too i think he was my favorite protag. and i really enjoyed gundham!! sdr2 was probably my favorite cast on average, i enjoyed them all a lot with like one or two notable exceptions. and then with v3 my favorites were miu tenko and angie because i love widely hated female characters lol nobody got those three like i did i was in the trenches doing deep character analysis i tell you

ALSO. nekomaru most mentally stable dr character truther!! i am also usually All Girls but i think about hypothetical nekomaru nagito dynamic semi regularly because putting the most mentally stable and one of the most mentally. not. stable characters next to each other yields extremely funny dynamics..

i also put a LOT of thought into celeste sayaka dynamics like it's about the fronts we put up the masks we wear the performance of it all..... i will never be normal about those two ever.. man i am thinking about dr characters again this is wild.

also YESSS i love kyoko's va and i loved her as ann in p5.... speaking of which...... who are your p5 favorites.... i am a haru girlie personally. also talk to me more about va's i would love to hear about va's...

youand me🤝🤝 i was huge in DR during the second half of ? 2020 and it came to be such a Big hyperfixation. i CANT believe it's been 3 years. i just can't. BUT THANK YOU!!!!! THAT MEANS A LOT 2 ME HEHE i am pretty much a fan of all the characters in one way or another though... except for the one that starts w/ k and ends in okichi LOL...

HINA AND SAYAKA ARE SUCHU GOOD CHOICES FOR SUUURE sayaka is just incredibly interesting (despite the amount of screentime she got) and aoi is such a genuine sweetheart, i lvoe them both. AKANE IS ALSO SUCH A GOOD CHOICE, its amazing all this girl has gone through and yet shes still one of the cheeriest characters. and i jsut love how like. how she is with the people she cares about. PLUS HER RELATIONSHIP W/ SONIA IS SOOO CUTE... i specifically remember liking their lil interactions during one of the ? last trials. hajime best protag is also a very good choice, i remembner rly likking his personality and stugff.. plus i loved his voice as well lkldngd you're def not alone in loving the sdr2 cast in its entirety! which im sure you're aware of. im kind of interested to hear who your 1 or 2 exceptions were though (eyeballs)AND OOO A GOOD BATCH FOR V3... i of course cant say much in depth since i havent played the third game but GOSH... i can def say now that both tenko and angie esp deserved sooooooo SOOOOO mcuh better... i hate what kodaka did to them. im super happy all 3 of them had such a huge fan behind them though!!!!!

as for DR its like. a good majority have voiced 2 characters atleast. off the top of my heeeeead... lucien dodge voices both hifumi and kiibo. and im pretty sure hes dating (engaged to?) erica mendez, who voices maki. marieve herington as celeste is still fr one of my fave performances like ever in a video game.. amanda celine miller voices both toko and junko! ill stgop for now but the overlap between danganronpa persona and fire emblem is so funny. i get that like theres only reallty a handful in this industry but im pretty sure almost every single VA has been in fire emblem heroes

im late diagnosed (technically but not blagh blah blah they told my parents when i was a kid but didnt tell me until i was 17) so i still have the lingering insecurities and unsureness BUT ANYWAYS thats not the important part

i go "what if im lying and/or overexaggerating about pokemon being my spinterest" and then i remember that most people cannot name hundreds of pokemon based on silhouette alone

everyone whos ever watched me play whos that pokemon (by that i mean like 3 people) has always been a little shocked

like im not perfect at type matchups and i never was but typically i can just Know somewhere in my Brain. and i remember random little things. starter first evo at 16 and again at 36. i can hum along to most songs in the games i played a lot of, the song just Comes To Me when i hear it. really never was a meta/battling type player but i can remember a few abilities and stuff, not very much, i never learned how to IV train but i do remember the minigames for it in ORAS that was quite fun. i know noibat evolves in the level 40s because i had to search it up on my dads phone because i was so sad that it wasnt evolving and then i spent quite a few hours grinding.

i can typically know which moves are stat based/offensive based because i always said no to my pokemon learning status moves. i remmeber quite a few pokemons cries (especially in ORAS bc of the search system). i can especially remember the yawn move sound effect it plays in my brain a lot.

i have a lot of b/w knowledge that is specifically from pokepark 2. krokorok's name still echos in my mind. whenever im stuck on a pokemons silhouette and theyre in pokemon i can usually recall their cry and know their name. i can remember a large amount of that game. i probably put around 1k hours into it just replaying it over and over again

didnt have money to go back and play the older games so i ended up replaying x/y and ORAS a bunch of times. at least 4 times. i remember the fireworks in the palace in XY. it is so fond. i remember first meeting maxie and instantly liking him way more then i can explain. idk at 10 i probs shouldnt have been a bit madly in love with a middle aged evil scientist but i was

anyways. the point is i probably know significantly more (and care significantly more) than the average person and i forget that a lot

i know everyone wants the switch 2 or whatever its called to come out but they need to wait until after pokemon z comes out bc i do not have the funds to buy a whole new thing but i NEED to play pokemon z

Kool-Aid Man’s Wacky-Zany Video! Review (Comisson for Emma Fici)

Hello all you happy people. I”m Jake and I do reviews and analysis of pop culture. And today we’re taking a look at something downright weird, a small sliver of pop culture history courtesy of one of my best friends and patreons, Emma Fici. 

This also came about because I had a missing spot in the schedule. See I was going to review Season 1 of Legend of Vox Machina, and still plan to find some way to review the series at some point... but after doing the incredibly exausting days long look at Venture Bros Season 3 (which at this point has gotten exactly one like “sigh”), I really coudln’t cover another series and emma was happy to fill the spot once she figured out something.. and what stygian void of madness she pulled this out of I don’t know but I went from planning to review the most promising show of the year... to a kool-aid man vhs tape from the 90s.

Anyways this tape was apparently part of the Kool-Aid points program, basically you got points off every packet of Kool-Aid and got stuff for them. By the time I was a kid I only remmeber seeing them noted on the packages.. and not really getting the point and throwing the packets out. Could’ve gotten a tote bag or maybe a pitcher with kool aid man’s face but with the horrifying implication this one��s a quadruple amputee. I dunno. I wasn’t with it. 

This tape was also partnered with KB Toys.. and I know all 2 of you reading this who didn’t actively pay me to write about this are probably asking what KB Toys is.. well it was essentially ToysRUs but.. it died first. I didn’t see them oftne, but I still have fond memories of seeing them as they were so rare by the time I was a kid it was like finding some hidden treasure of a store you never knew about and only heard of in some legend... that legend being a catalogue that got mailed to your house but a legend all the same. 

So what happens when two companies who are now dead and past their prime respectively combine their powers into a VHS tape? Find out under the cut!

So we open with a commerical for Kool-Aid... that I will try to describe to the best of my ablities despite the fact it’ll defintely make me look crazier than I already am. So a bunch of kids run around with sonic the hedgehog wheel feet, have bugged out expressions and distorted visuals, while Kool Aid man bursts in to quell their ravenous hoards. This is the FIRST THING I saw in the video

Things do not get more sane from there as we cut into a rap from the Kool Aid Man set to a video that I’m sure is what being on cocaine feels like. We get FOUR of these things and their all a generic rap about Kool-Aid and this wacky video set to whatever public domain footage the makers of this tape had access too and out of context clips of Kool-Aid commericals. At various points I saw him as a rock star, a superhero and jesus christ. And you can’t tell me if I saw that last one for sure there was a lot going into my brain at once. 

So then we get a commerical about hunting hedgehogs set to black and white public domain footage.. and at this point it became very apparent just how.. cheap the film’s budge it is. The ONLY new things are the audio and some of the graphics, some of which were probably native to the editing stuff they used. Everything is either is transparently public domain or old Kool Aid Man Commericals. This may be the cheapest thing i’ve ever seen and i’ve watched 1313 haunted frat aka a film that was marketed as a cheap horror movie.. and is even cheaper than it seems as 90% of it is just one chissled guy wondering around the director’s house in his underwear. But at least that guy needed to hire an actor, hire more actors so he could put in scenes to make it technically not count as softcore porn, and hire catering and all that. I’ve seen all of Doug Walker’s movies. Nuff said there. And this is still cheaper as they clearly just had whoever made this dub over clips. They MAYBE had to hire a guy to do the raps, and given it wasn’t the kool aid man’s va even that I question. Kool-Aid and KB put no budget into this and just wanted to fart something out to give to kids. I mean.. you have the commericals.. just.. put those together on a tape. At worst you have to pay residuals to the kid actors. Or just have kool aid man stumble around whoevers house was free that weekend for a half an hour. There were better options than “stuff whatever we can into half an hour and hope it’s good.”  Kids saved up their hard earned kool aid pouches for this you dicks. 

That said while I condemn Kool-Aid and KB for cheaping out, i’ll give credit to whoever they forced to make this as despite being cheap as all hell.. they tried. They tried to put some effort and creativity into padding the shit out of this.  The ways they pad out the film that aren’t rap or public domain short films, we’ll get to the latter, are at least attempts at humor. Most don’t, but they might for a kid. The target audience was obviously not 30 year old hairy goblins. I still think when making media for kids you shoudln’t talk down to them or pander, but for a vhs meant to sell kool-aid it works. 

The next bit shows that: going mental, which has the voice overs explained as aliens from the planet lip synch who demonstrate the technique lip unsynch. This one , using stock footage of course, has the viewer play a game where they move around squares. It’s goofy, impractical as you’d have been touching the tv (I was on my phone so it was easier) but the neat trick of always ending up on the kool-aid square is inspired. No matter what you do according to the tape it’ll always end up that way and I’m inclined to belivie it as it was clearly rigged that way and I guessed it would be... but to most kids, especially to me if I had seen it as a kid, it would be fucking cool. Even if it’s hoaky, I can still respect they know kids well enough to play them like this. 

Next is the first of three segments with a man trying to get a newspaper out of the.. newspaper dispenser thing... and everyone around him thinking he’s nuts while the thing is clearly haunted and ends up manically laughing at him after the police cart him away at the end.. DESPITE SEEING IT LAUGH AT HIM. So they know it’s cursed they just don’t care. It’s not terrible stuff, but it does feel mean spirited as the guy gets arrested.. just for wanting a paper and wanting to beat up a newspaper machine for actively fucking with him. The guy did nothing wrong. He just wanted a fucknig paper. He was quick to cane the machine sure but given it’s sentient, i’m inclined to agree with him on killing the bastard. 

We then get my faviorit ebit, a fairy tail.. it’s wonderfully goofy as it’s the story of wilbur, a chimp who sabotages plains to fuck with the pilot, pilot bob, overdubbing an old 20′s theatrical short clearly but to great effect. The punchline though is great as a “little girl” (clealry a grown woman but clearly part of the joke) promises if she’s lying may an airplane crash in. It’s funny, goofy and uses the stock footage well. Good stuff. 

Our final segment is Dog News Tonight, which is also pretty endearing. It’s what you’d expect, news from a dog’s perspective, such as  a dog trying to teach it’s master the trick to jump or “saving” a hanglider without understanding what they were doing. It’s good stuff. It also leads to the second and final interactive bit, a trick I recongized as they had me do it in school to show off division. Whatever you start with you end with 2. So while I recognized it it’s still neat. 

And after one final rap, the tape ends with a KB Toys advertisment. 

Final Thoughts: This video is stupid.. but it is enjoyable. It’s just so weirdly constructed, so cheap and such a product of it’s early 90′s time that it’s fun to look at. Will I watch it again? Probably not. Was it fun to peak at at least once? hell yeah.

I just type in youtube Exo soft playlist and play anything that comes up, i love soft music and ballads.

But a small thing, I make the coffee in the morning for breakfast and i always play exo´s The First Snow in the mornings, it makes my mornings nice.

Oh, i was a nerd at school, i love science and geography, Specially chemistry, i seriously loved chemistry, i loved the part of geography that focused entirely on earth and space rather than mapping. i love geology in all sides, tectonic plates, volcanoes, earth and minerals, as well as space and astronomy! 

But in my second year of high school we had to choose electives and i was supposed to be an engineer so i choose all maths and physics subjects and it got pretty ugly save for the geometric drawing classes. but i got into a design  elective and i loved it too! and thats how i got here

Regarding college, i loved basic 3D, character design, Audiovisual Narrative, Typography and visual Narrative (thats basically storyboarding)!

Hmmmm not really, i often just gather many many things, but so far i dont have a favourite one... Shinkai´s movies are wonderful taking into acc not only ilustration but story, characters, narrative, colors and music.

@jinkisbelly i arrived for very soft jongyus, and i remmeber crying over a very sad onkey just a few hours later, since then ive loved their way or writing!! its just so beautiful, i love the fantasy settings a lot here and the flexibility in writing amazing au settled in our world, i re read a very cute ghosty!jinki jongyu like 2 days ago and it made me so happy!!!

theres another author i love whom removed their works but i really loved them, it wrote a very very pretty minkey where kibum was an android, it was amazing

@keyspetite their way of writing jjong is so so so accurate so casual yet so comfortable to real, they write jjong in a very beautiful way, and the whole setting and ambience of the stories are just amazing, light in a way you want to read them again and again

@unnie-bee uhhh been eons since this was written but i still cannot get over phoenix and exodus, this are one of the best fics ive read,this fic basically pulled me into exo, more like dragged me. the whole ecomplexity of getting those 12 stories to blend so wonderfully has me awake at nights lol

“Relationships? I’ve only had one real relationship which was with the man that would become Riley’s father. Of course, that story is well-known by now. Prior to that and after that I haven’t had any relationships until Mitsuru.”

“There was this guy in highschool, very popular and he was openly-bisexual, which I always found the most impressive thing considering how popular he was. I always admired him from afar. I think his name was Bratt. Quite a hottie...but yeah, maybe I should have done something with my crush...” 

3. Friendship

“I’ve been friends with this person for ages. His name is Isamu, we’ve been friends since elemantary school. Despite that, we don’t see each other often since we’re both in different colleges and in different cities but whenever the opportunity arrives, we meet. I could hardly imagine my life without him.” 

4. Pet

“At the palace there are plenty of animals that we consider pets but in my past, before coming here, even before meeting Iram I had only one pet. I wonder if I can even call it a pet, it was a bird that would come to my house each day. It was a beautiful and also colorful parrot. I named him Jabbar, Mighty...it wasn’t necessarily that he was strong but his beauty had it so that I couldn’t cage him. Of course, one day the free bird didn’t return, he disappeared with the sun that one day.” 

5. Home

“I guess I don’t talk about home a whole lot. I grew up in Madres, a city in India. My home being nothing special, just an ordinary home for a everage family. My father worked, my mother was a housewife and my older brother went to school, just as I did. However, my ambitions were lying elsewhere. So, home was always a bit intense with me wanting something else then my family wanted...However, I don’t hate them for trying to get me to follow a more stable path instead that of vlogging. However, I’ve made a name for myself I like to think.” 

6. Memory from Childhood

“My memories from my childhood are rather vague, I probably suppressed them. All I remember is tons of screaming and lots of pain.” 

7. Scare

“I remember that as a kid, the one or two year older kid from the neighbors would often tell me scary stories. I was always so busy shielding Shino from them that I picked them up better than I should have. I went years being scared, unable to sleep without a nightlight and the door at least open partly. I was terrified. As a teen you’re embarrassed to admit that but now as an adult, I can laugh about it.” 

8. Injury

“I was a pretty reckless kid, always climbing in and on stuff, broke several bones so I had lots of injuries but outside of one scar, I think I’ve got out of that period of my life pretty good. As for that scar, it’s just underneath my right armpit, hardly noticeable and it is from when I fell out of a tree.” 

9. Trip

“Being a flight attendant, that’s a good question. As a kid I didn’t travel a whole lot but the few trips we took, I loved them. The most memorable trip I remmeber with my parents was to Italy. We visited so many beautiful places. Of course, Venice being the most memorable one. They saved up for it and that’s when I also realized that I wanted to make it my job to make it the people as pleasant as possible when they traveled to and from their vacation destinations. As a child, that was my first time flying overseas. We usually took trips just in Japan so the flights or train rides didn’t feel so long.”

10. Hobby

“Some say it might be embarrassing to admit but I do not. Others may find it boring or for old people but I picked up this hobby after visiting an antique shop when I started highschool and was on my way home after my first day of school. This shop had a very rare coin, I didn’t know where it was from or if it was even Japanese but ever since that day I have been collecting rare coins.” 

11. Job

“My first job was a part-time job as a highschooler, believe it or not. My family was in the middle of saving up for me to go to college so I didn’t want to bother them with questions for allowance or a bit of money to have some fun. So I provided that part for myself. I worked as a waiter at a small karaoke place. Looking older than most my age, they didn’t feel too bothered about me working in a place that served alcohol, they kept a close eye on me as well so it’s not like I could sneak in a few sips unnoticed.” 

12. Dream

“I remember a dream from long ago, a dream from after I just joined the circus. A dream of going back home to the place I grew up. I’ve been back there once, nothing is the same from when I lived there, there is nothing left but at that time, I had a hopeful dream of going back...” 

13. Nightmare

“When I started dancing the worst thing to happen to someone is losing that ability to dance. So in my nightmares I would often be unable to walk or even lose my legs. Those nightmares continued for a while until I met this amazing couple. The woman in a wheelchair and she danced, probably the most emotional dance I’ve ever seen...after that, my nightmares disappeared.”

14. Embarrassing situation

“Shortly after my ex left me with Declan, I was easily affected by situations, vulnerable. So once I was put in a really embarrassing situation where I had a stranger help me with Declan when I couldn’t get him to stop crying in public. The woman didn’t think of it as weird or embarrassing but as a father who was just left with his infant child, it was very embarrassing to me.”

I'm excited to see what else Deltarune has to offer, but at the same time it doesn't really... FEEL like undertale. Like, it's a good game, and it it seems like Undertale, but it just doesn't seem right. It might be the art style or combat system. That's just my irrelevant opinion though.

Hmmmmmmm well I mean, haha im a bit worried on putting my opinion on the matter to be honest lmao, but I am glad that i am not the only one who still feels a bit mixed. though, I would be lying if i say im not looking forward or very very excited about Deltarune.More under the cut? this is gonna be a long opinion haha.

I do have that feel aswell that it doesnt feel like undertale, and maybe , this isnt Undertale. As in like as i’ve mentioned before or in a reblob of @geistverrse​ ‘s post That i do strongly feel that this is another “world” so to speak. 

Like uuuh its hard to explain, i guess AU is the right term for this one? I’m referring to the ending bit where we get to explore the town. It feels the same yet so different at the same time. My first instinct is to say this is a PREQUEL but, at this point i dont even know any more

The combat system , at first glance and run i massively enjoy haha, seems people are mixed about this as well but i can say for this one, personally, i enjoy the mechanics. It was very fun lmao. I think the only gripe is that , again maybe this is because this is the first chapter and it doesnt feel like we are eased in to these new characters as well as how the old one handles it, The “ACT” part of the monster, feels like it doesnt have uuh…. it doesnt feel the same ish. Sadly i dont know why this feel this way about, maybe its the small text or since theres now 3 monsters or more to keep track on means the dialogs can be muffled if that makes sense? But overall i did enjoy the experience of the combat system and will keep an open mind to it , I think i feel this way because i am not as invested or connected as i am to Undertale yet. sooo we’ll see in the future uwu

And finally for my last point is uh, Personally right now i feel very mixed. Because before , I strongly believed there wouldnt be and “Undertale 2″ but here we are today haha. I feel Undertale itself was perfect and the game holds so many memories that is super super attached to my brain and keroro machine. Undertale also helped me went through a quite rough phase of my life haha his doesnt mean i hate the existence of Deltarune , because overall i have in my pc a recording of me screaming and squealing on how happy i was playing the game haha.

I love the new soundtrackI love the new “main characters”I love THE LINE “GOD.. DAMMIT” BY THAT ONE FUCKING GUY WHO I CANT REMMEBER SIR THOU ART CUNT IS PROBABLY THEIR NAME,  I CANT BELIEVE SOMEONE IS WORSE AT PUZZLES THAN PAPY HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLEi love the flavor text and the witty goofs that Toby makesi love the new characters and how Toby somehow manage to make me like Suzie ffs god who knows why, her design is really good.Theres so many things that i liked while playing Deltarune x)

I guess the bottom line is that, Even though i feel like, i dont want a new undertale, but i also feel i want more undertale. does that make sense? it feels very.. weird i guess haha.

Im looking forward to the future chapters x) I think i have faith that Toby can nail this haha.

How To...Lift Weights

Question:  Weightlifting- I’m not joking. I was younger, and the local gyms didn’t have trainers.

I think this happens more often than some of us may realize. I don’t know your specific goals, so here’s some general information. To start off with, here’s some terminology:

muscle group - we “chunk” the body up into six major groups when we’re talking about weight lifting: shoulders (also called “delts” for “deltoids”, back, biceps, chest, triceps, legs (including glutes...the butt muscles)

exercise - a specific movement done for a specific muscle group

rep - short for “repetition”, this means one full movement of the exercise from start to finish

set - a grouping of reps, after which you take a short break

rest - a short period where you don’t lift, usually between 30 and 90 seconds, to give your muscles a quick break before you start a new set

spot - spotting someone is when another person stands with you to stop the weight from crashing down. This is most useful with bench press. Your spotter will see that you’re having trouble (or you can just say “grab it”) and they will help you put the bar back safely

I’ve worked as a personal trainer and started lifting since 2004. Here is a recent photo:

1. Figure out your goal. 

“I want to make my muscles bigger” isn’t exactly a goal. Be more specific. Are you looking for size, strength, endurance, or improvement in another sport? The goal you choose determines how you lift. In the most generalized terms, use fewer reps per set at a higher weight for gaining size, and more reps per set with a lower weight for endurance. For even better endurance, add in a cardiovascular exercise that works the muscles you’re most concerned with. For example, if you want to build more of your upper body, a good cardio exercise would be rowing or swimming. For all-over benefit, yoga is a great option. 

“But can’t I use low or high reps for any set? What does this actually mean?” you might be asking. Low or high reps mean this is your max rep range for any set. Once you hit this maximum number, you add more weight next time. If you’re doing lower reps for more explosive strength, you may set your max reps to 5 per set. That means if you are able to do 5 reps per set during this gym session, you’ll add weight next time you do this exercise at a future gym session. A higher rep range is usually 15, with 8-12 being a more middle-ground rep range that is good for size. 

If you have medical issues or a previous injury, please talk to a physical therapist first about how to work out. There may be exercises to avoid. 

2. Figure out your split.  

A “split” is how you’re going to work out different muscles during different times of the week. Will you work one muscle group each time (for a total of 6 gym sessions per week to work the full body) or will you do two or more muscle groups at a time? This all depends on your goals and your body. For me, I have medical problems so I typically do not work out more than one muscle group at a time. 

My training looks like this: biceps, triceps, shoulders, back, chest, legs, rest day. On days that I work more than one muscle group at a time, I typically do complementary muscle groups (”opposite” muscle groups), such as biceps and triceps or back and chest. This is not typical; usually, people do back and biceps or chest and triceps. I don’t like doing this because chest exercises require triceps (and back exercises engage biceps), so I feel I am pre-exhausting myself for the supporting exercises, and therefore can’t push myself as much as I want to. If you are looking to do more endurance training, however, I absolutely would recommend doing back-biceps, chest-triceps, legs-delts. 

3. Figure out your exercise options. 

You’ll need to figure out how often you’re in the gym during the week, whether you want to work out from home, and which exercises you’d like to do. You’ll also need to familiarize yourself with the exercises prior to doing them. My recommendation for exercises is  https://dumbbell-exercises.com/ This is a super simple, no nonsense website, and you can easily see that from the “vintage” 1995 web design. Check out the “Exercises” tab to choose from different muscle groups. If you work out from home, you can use two-liter bottles of water (or a bottle filled with dirt/sand and then add water for more weight) or a backpack filled with books, or a resistance band. The good thing about this site is they have simple animated gifs to show the basic movement. Practice this movement before using any weight. 

For the most general use, you’ll want to choose 5 different exercises per muscle group. 2-4 sets per exercise, and the reps per set are what we discussed in point 1. 

4. Start slowly. 

The 5 different exercises with up to 4 sets per exercise I mentioned in point 3 is what you’ll work up to. Start off with either 5 exercises at 1 set per exercise, or 3 exercises with 2 sets per exercise. Don’t overdo it. While a lot of us love the motivating mental pump from concepts like “Go big or go home”, the reality is that our bodies kind of suck and they need a while to get used to training. This is especially true if you’re like me and have medical problems. 

5. You’re in competition with yourself, that’s it.

Another “slow” start is to start with lighter weights than you think you need. While we all fantasize about stacking multiple plates onto a bar and pushing all that weight like it’s nothing, the reality is that reaching that point takes time and dedication. Part of that dedication is consistency in the gym, part of it is eating to fuel your workouts, and part of it is doing the exercise correctly. Yes, you can “lift” a lot more weight if you do the exercise incorrectly...that doesn’t look impressive to anyone in the gym, though. We know that your poor form is the only reason you’re lifting that much weight, meaning you’re not nearly as strong as you think you are.

Plus, you’re not supposed to be impressing us. We’re irrelevant. You should only care about other gym-goers if you need to ask one of them to spot you. 

6. Keep a journal and be specific.

How much weight did I do last time I did this exercise? How many reps? Using your workout journal will prevent you from guessing and straining your brain to remember. Your workout journal (which can be physical or digital) should include the following:

date

which muscle groups you’re working out that day

exercise name, weight used, sets, and reps

how you felt that day (for example, I have chronic migraines so if I’m feeling poorly, I write something in there to note that I’m using less weight to compensate for this; that way, I know to use more weight next time)

Your workout journal should be with you during your workout. While you might think you can just do it once you return home, you typically won’t (or won’t remmeber fully). There’s no special journal or app you need. You can use a Notepad app on your phone or a small lined notebook. Special “workout journals” can be purchased but are unnecessarily expensive, so I don’t recommend them. 

7. Be consistent. 

Of all the tips, this is probably the one most people have issues with. Anyone can easily learn how to lift weights by looking at a few websites, but the real issue is returning to the gym most days. One of the most common fitness/diet questions I’m asked is “How do I stay motivated?”

Short answer: you don’t

Motivation is short-lived. You can feel motivated from time to time, but it’s not nearly enough to sustain the type of day-to-day stuff you need to be doing. Instead of motivation, I recommend logic. Here are my most commonly-used mantras for when I’m not feeling like exercising: 

“If I don’t do it, it won’t get done.” It’s simple, but it’s effective. 

“I can’t meet my goals if I’m not doing anything to meet my goals.” Similar to the first one, this specific phrasing reminds me that this is my goal, my choice, my ideal. It’s something I personally decided to pursue. This isn’t a chore, this is a decision. 

“A bad workout is better than no workout.” I find myself using this more and more because of my migraines. I’m not sure how much you know about migraines, but they’re more than “really bad headaches”. Without getting too much into this neurological disorder, you end up really exhausted and achy. This, of course, doesn’t lend itself to an excellent workout, but it’s better to do a slow, lower-weight workout than it is for me to stay at home. 

“Just leave the house now.” If you work out from home, you can change this to “Just start now”. The idea is that we sometimes get sidetracked and make excuses for delaying our workouts, so reminding myself to exercise and get it out of the way is sometimes needed. This is used often when the weather is bad.

Random fact:  Me and my friend kinda wandered into this building in Caltech where nobody was there and found this rooftop cactus garden and I stole a pouch of hot cocoa from a lil table and i stuffed it in my jacket pocket and 3 months later our marching band got to go to San Francisco to march in the Chinese New Years parade and in the hotel I found the bag of hot cocoa and I drank it and that was my dinner. Moral of the story is clean out your jacket once maybe ever.

alcoholic dad

i found out that my dad is an alcoholic. he has been one for 20 years. my fathers story is very complex, but basically when he was in his mid 20s he got punched in the face in the middle of a train and his brain got “slightly” damaged (as in he didnt fucking die). his frontal lobe got kinda messed up, so he makes a lot of actions impulsively . and he’s reaaaallly bad at managing stuff like money and planning stuff like trips. for example, if you tell him to buy 1L of milk in the grocery store he’ll buy 3. because of that, my mom always makes the decisions, thay always have to pay the bills together and my mom needs to check if he isnt “wasting” any money as in giving it to the church (which doesnt need any money at all since we’re in fucking switzerland and the government funds the church). theres some stuff we dont know if he already had or if it was caused by that accident. nonetheless, my dad only told that to my mom when she was pregnant with me, the youngest of 2 children. of course, my mom couldnt just leave. she said, if he had said that before my brother and i were born, she would’ve left him. honsetly, i cant judge her, because he is disabled, kind of, so it would be really hard to build up a family with such a person (spoiler alert - it was). my dad is also really detatched from the world, like he lives in his own world. sometimes, when i was 1-3 and my brother 3-6, he would just leave the house with 0 warning and stay out for 7 hours without answering the phone. obviously, my mom would panic because she’d always think something bad happened to him but then, at the end of the day (literally), he would come back as if nothing had happened. he would do that constantly. until we moved out to brazil. this happened in 2007. i was 3, my brother 6. life there was really nice: my brother and i started kindergarten and prmary school, my mom was studying to make an exam which would allow her to work for some kind of fbi (receita federal). it was a really good job with a high salary, but she had to study hours a day. my dad was making a phd in something in germany but living in brazil. side note: he didnt put any effort to learn portuguese, search a job in brazil, anything. that was his passive-aggressive way to tell my mom that he didnt want to live in brazil and he wanted us to come back to switzerland. in 2010, after hours of hard work and study, my mom passed the exam and could work in rf. but then, my dad was  depressed and said he wanted us to come back to switzerland. my mom says he wasnt actually depressed. honestly, depressed or not, he shouldnt have used that as an excuse to take us out of there and my mom after she had put on so much time to study for that exam. basically he didnt give a fuck about her. i feel really bad writing this because my mom really studied a lot and she wouldve been an excelent professional. flash forward, we move back to switzerland, this time in the italian part. my mom says she wanted to come here because of the language and because in this city theres a mountain that looks like pão de açúcar (sugar bread or whatever its called - that one in rio). obviously its not because of that, i assume its because she just didnt want to live in the german part since she was very discriminated and that lead to her hating the language and just the energy. and of course he didnt do anything to defend her. so we move here and my mom gets depression. i dont remember much of her being depressed, but i vividly remember calling her to watch some “family movies” but she would never come because she was in her room, precisely in her bed, depressed. she would sometimes sleep until midday, but since i was like 7 i didnt really mind or be worried. neither did my brother. side note: my dad is a really weak person: he doesnt tell what he thinks in your face, he has to drink to have the courage to tell my mom something when he’s angry at her. i think thats one of the worst things a man can do to their women, especially my mom, since her dad was an alcoholic. she tells me when she was 4 she used to be extremely afraid and embarassed of her father, and she doesnt remember him being sober. when she was 13 he eventually died and she and her siblings had to take care of the bills. long story short, she absolutely despised men who drank, and thats exactly what my dad did. of course he knew it btw. everytime he drank my mother would hide it, and in send him immediately to their room or just not argue with him. but one time, in summer, my brother was at a summer camp and i was at home with my mom. my dad came home drunk and i dont remmeber much but they started arguing. he wasnt aggressive at all but he was just talking nonsense and lock himself in the bathroom and cried? i dont know. i just remember him making wierd noises. anyways, my mom sent me to my friends house and i was really happy lol. that day, my mom was fed tf up, so she decided that the 3 of us would move back to brazil and my dad would stay here and visit us once in a while. once or twice a month. this was in 2013. from 2013 until 2017, we lived our best life. my dad would send the money from switzerland to brazil and it would multiply by 4 more or less since the dollar was pretty high, so it converted to the brazilian currency. we would eat out at restaurants every week, my mom would buy clothes every week (not too much because she knows how to control herself and she never buys what she doesnt need), have pilates lessons, have coffees with her friends, we would have lunch and dinner with our relatives. we were at home. my mom was at home, at her hometown. my dad would come visit us once every month. everything was going pretty good. of course we had problems, especially my brother, who struggled a lot in school since in brazil you have much more stuff to study and school is genuinely harder. in 2016, brazil’s president dilma rousseff got impeached and my mom already knew the political situation was only starting to go downhill. also, she didnt want my brother and i to do highschool there, so we came back to switzerland in january 2017. in the beginning, it was pretty shit for me and my brother, my class was shit and my classmates were a bunch of idiots. but at least i had some friends. things were going ok. once in a while my dad would come home with a wierd facial expression, talking a lot of nonsense and making random speeches but i would think nothiung of it, he probably just had a tiring day. flash forward to 2019, my dad is like that again, this time my mom actually tells us he drank. we are a little worried, but he’s not acting up or whatever, problem is, he drank some hours before we went to the aparmtment we were going to rent (in which we’re living right now). of course, he drank on purpose because he knew it would piss my mom off and she would be embarassed, but he doesnt give a fuck. thats his way of telling her he’s angry at her for whatever reason. flash forward to some weeks ago, july 2020, my dad drinks again. now, we already know thast he *sometimes* drinks, so were like “ffs he drank again”. but this time its a little different: my mom actually argues with him. they start a discussion because my mom was pissed that he was constantly drinking and said that she would leave him if he could, so he went outside and drank. anyways, they were arguing and then my dad started crying and slammed the door. we went there to try to talk to him, but as soon as my mom opened the door he pushed her using actual strength. if she hadnt had both of her feet stable on the ground, she wouldve fallen and probably hurt herself. he then proceeded to push me but i yelled back at him. i could feel the anger in his voice and how he pushed us. he slammed the door again and threw himself onto the bed face down and started loudly crying, it was just awful. my brother and i went to the kitchen and my mom told us to go there and try tzo talk to him. my brother sat on the bed and i laid against the door. my brother was trying to talk to him and i was cringing really hard.
