So… I once fixed hyperfixation by rewatching a show and taking notes about it, so imma try the same with RWBY as it's currently taking over a lot of brainpower just existing in my consciousness. I reckon if the rewatch itself doesn't remind me of how much of a mess this show is, taking notes might. Also I really wanna examine the 'Bumblebee was set up from the beginning' allegations. I'm 99.99% it wasn't but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Just to make it clear for any bumblebee fan who may be reading this expecting me to be converted into loving the ship: Even if there are hints this early on, their development later would still be a goddamn mess. And just for the record: I will only be taking as 'hints' things that are undeniable. The show is very explicit with its hetshit, I won't take less than that for queerness. (Don't expect this to be an essay I'll just write down whatever I wanna say at any given moment and it will be awful to read, it's basically a diary for myself).

V1: Trailers: Honestly, they're bangers. Music's great. They set up characters. If I had to rank them I'd say R-Y-W-B but I only put Black below the others because I simply like the other fights better. I know why Adam is there with Blake but it kinda feels like he steals a bit of hte spotlight. (And the Dempsey Roll reference in Yellow cannot be beaten, sorry. Well except by Ruby's sheer fucking awesomeness but ykwim). Though tbh ADAM STANDING THERE AWKWARDLY INSTEAD OF JUST JUMPING IS INSANE. YOU CAN CLEAR THAT GAP MY GUY. Also the moon is, well, inconsistent across the trailers. Like you'd think maybe there was something going on with it breaking a bit more each trailer but, no, it jumps from barely broken to even more broken than in the show in Black, then stays the same in Yellow. Which. You know. It's the little inconsistencies that make RWBY, aren't they.

On the Bees: Someone pointed out to me that 'Red like Roses' implies Blake/Yang as the beauty and the beast. I… will grant it the benefit of the doubt in this case. I mean, Monty didn't even fucking know Ruby was standing by her mother's gravestone when he did this I seriously doubt he'd thought that much ahead. But RWBY is inspired by fairy tales, so the use of beast and beauty isn't likely to be coincidental either. This is the only instance where I will grant a 'benefit of the doubt'. I'm more inclined to believe it's actually a coincidence that neatly fit into it later. Blake/Yang have absolutely nothing of the beauty and the beast in their dynamic.

Ep 1: The dust speech at the start feels a bit odd in retrospect. Dust ends up being kind of underwhelming if we look at what it actually does for the plot, it doesn't feel more important than Aura and Semblances. I'd reckon all three could have been mentioned. Is… is that moon transition at the start meant to imply the moon's been breaking off over time? Honestly the creation myth of RWBY is one of the few things I do believe was at least mildly planned from the start so I find it mildly surprising. Maybe they planned for it to break more over time but forgot about it by volume 6 and just had the gods break it all in one go? The rest of the episode is ok. I won't be commenting on the voice acting too much—this was a bit of an indie production, after all. If any particular lines are too awful maybe I'll point them out. That being said, Glenda's semblance is awfully the fucking same as magic. Cinder is using literal magic so that's ok. It really never is quite explained how or even why dust interacts with semblances, is it?

On the Bees: Nothing this ep.

Ep 2: Should I mention the fact that the show never stops to breathe, especially this early on? I guess I'll do it because then when I can be positive about a scene it'll stick out. So… yeah, the whole introduction of Team RWBY is kind of all over the place in terms of pacing. Could ahve used an extra minute or two to make the conversation a bit, well, better paced. Also do Yang's friends ever show up again? I don't think so. And I know it's meant to be comedic but Weiss just swinging about a bottle of dust feels kind of… strange. She should know how stupid that is. That aside, there's a lot of expository dialogue that probably could have been shoved into the classroom scenes. The dust, weapons, etc. Leave room for the characters to actually speak instead of explaining things everyone present should know.

On the Bees: Nothing this ep.

Ep 3: Comedy is VERY hit or miss in general, so I'll just state I… don't really find most RWBY humor funny. I see the intent and I won't criticize it, it's just not for me. On another note: White Rose is my go-to ship in the early volumes. The writers clearly got scared of how much chemistry Ruby and Weiss had so they sort of… barely interact one on one again in the future. Did you know I like Diakko? Because I like Diakko. A lot. Check my AO3. Iykyk. Anyways I don't think the sleepover scene thing is too bad. Could have made Weiss interact with Blake a bit but eh whatever.

On the Bees: So, Yang makes a very pointed comment about being into boys! Very explicit and with no interpretation required! Let's see if we can see similar hints of her bisexuality at any point prior to V6. And on the off chance a bumblebee shipper is reading this: I don't really care how much these minor instances 'don't matter'. If they're such small things, why not have them go both ways? Like, say, the perfect chance that comes up right after with fucking Blake. Which isn't taken. "noo but she says she likes her bow' it's all literal pleasantries to try to get her to talk to Ruby and the second she isn't responsive Yang's like "Nah fuck her." There's more of a romantic interaction here between Ruby and Blake than between bumblebee ffs. Also Yang so far has only shown interest in boys, as evidenced by her trailer. 'nooo she was just pretending' she wasn't pretending here now was she. Anyways if it really was planned this early on what stopped the team from just showing a bit of her bisexuality. Because she also didn't have much of a 'gay awakening' thing moment. Which you'd think they'd give her. Or Blake for that matter.

Ep 4: Nora and Ren are introduced and it's clear Nora's in love with Ren from second 1. Even if it's unclear whether Ren reciprocates or not (And I'm gonna say unclear because dude's kind of very non-emotive in general). I think it's a fine enough introduction to the characters. Weiss is VERY gay towards Pyrrha you cannot convince me otherwise. (just for clarification's sake: I mean it in a shippy way, I know it's not intentionally queer, I'm a yurifag it's what I do). Oh hey look another character getting to be very explicitly heterosexual I'm sure queer folk will get the same treatment in this incredibly inclusive show! Idk if I like Pyrrha's introduction. I guess it's efficient but… well, like everything in this scene, really it coudl use some time to breathe. I could get nitpicky and complain about a lot of things with the 'team selection process' like, uh, the fact that some students have to have died or how there has to have been some terrible teams because of the random nature of it all. And I guess I just did. But I'll also say I'm gonna let it pass because, in the end, it's funny. Also Blake didn't speak a single word this episode. Or get like. Any focus. Like idk a shot of her reacting to other people's shenanigans at least. One of the 4 mcs guys.

On the Bees: Nothing this ep… Like with Blake.

Ep 5: AU where Pyrrha misses her shot because Ruby dodged that bird, and Pyrrha's weapon struck the bird instead of Jaune and Jaune fucking dies. (<- when I say these notes are for me I mean it this is the sort of shit I think about when watching episodes of anything) Like u get what I mean? Ruby and Weiss just have so much chemistry man. I don't get what Pyrrha saw in Jaune acting like a prick back there but idk straight people are weird. And… pretty much that's all I have to say about the episode. There wasn't much of a pacing issue here because it was like, 3 scenes altogether.

Ep 6: So, Yang's supposed to absorb damage to use her semblance. At least in the later volumes. Here she just… Uses it. The trailer version had been fighting and took a few hits so it made sense there but here? And don't tell me it had no effect because she used it to obliterate that bear Grimm. Anyways I think it changes a few times through the volumes I'll be on watch for that. Yang and Blake's meeting is… fucking nothing. More at the end. The, uh, 'fight' with Ruby and Weiss wasn't animated the best. That's all imma say about it. Ok so, Aura is a manifestation of the soul and it can coat yourself and your tools for protection and presumably also enhances attacks and provides healing. Simple enough. But… the thing about understanding light and dark or whatever? Shit never comes up again. Also I seem to remember this is retconned but we'll get there when/if we get there. I don't hate the concept of Aura. Hell, it's almost exactly how I handle at least 2 magic systems I'm currently working on (sans details). I just think it's poorly utilized, being almost always just used as a magical coating and little else. The whole 'manifestation of the soul' thing rings hollow. Also does anyone else ever do the shield-aura thing Ren did here? Leaving aside my problems with Aura in general, Pyrrha's whole thing about helping Jaune manifest Aura: W H A T. T H E. F U C K. Like, did anyone on the team pause to think of the implications of this? Probably not. Definitely not. Just think about it for a second. This implies that it's possible for people with aura to help people without it manifest it. Whether the speech is important or not is irrelevant, let's say it's just something to help someone focus. That's not the freaking point. WHY woudln't they do this to everyone? If Pyrrha could do it with Jaune, who is pretty much a normal ass dude, why not do this for every citizen? It literally takes like a minute. Sure it tires the person who does it but like, what's stopping that person from turning around and doing it to someone else? Let's say it requires training to do it: Why not train people for the explicit job of unlocking other people's auras? And yes, they very explicitly state everyone has an aura, whether it's unlocked or not. Listen to me. LISTEN TO ME. You live in a society where a negative emotion will attract the monsters trying to kill you. Do you know how much safer people would feel if they knew they'd survive at least one or two hits from a Grimm? The panic you could help avoid? Grimm have this thing where they retrofeed themselves, causing panic which attracts more of them which causes more panic etc. By unlocking everyone's Aura you could help avoid or at least severely delay that problem. I don't think this is ever done again. But even if it is, the point would only get stronger, because it's clearly not something only Pyrrha can do. Anwyays back to our regular content, fight scenes with Monty are pretty good most of the time. Ren never uses his bare fists to attack again I don't think.

On the Bees: Every other pairing formed in these episodes had like. A proper exchange when they met. To show what chemistry they had together. Whether it be Weiss ignoring then coming back to Ruby, Pyrrha making a wisecrack at Jaune or Nora's and Ren's whole thing. Yang and Blake? Blake doesn't say anything, she just smirks (I think it's meant to be a smirk anyways). Yang just boasts. I understand Blake's not a very talkative individual but this tells me nothing of what their dynamic's gonna be.

Ep 7: Weiss and Ruby having really fun interactions here and then Yang and Blake have a nothingburger of an interaction. Actually, make that 2 nothingburger interactions. Jaune and Pyrrha get to be comedic here. And that's basically the episode really.

On the Bees: I don't care if bumblebee shippers read a million layers of meaning into Blake not saying shit when they first interact this episde. Fine. But Yang doesn't even have a reaction to it! She doesn't act annoyed or intrigued she literally does fucking nothing about it. Then the pony thing is like… ok. What's their dynamic here? Weiss and Ruby have a really strong dynamic already in place. Jaune and Pyrrha are building one that's at least starting to make sense. Nora and Ren had one from their first seconds together. Seriously. You wanna argue they were planned from the beginning? Well they sure seem like people who ended on the same team and shrugged and said 'whatever' and kept moving without further interaction, unlike fucking EVERYONE else. It pisses me off because you can 100% play Yang's hotheadedness against Blake's more calculating nature, but they don't fucking do that. 'Planned from the beginning' my ass, mfs couldn't even figure out how to squeeze some characterization out of their interactions.

Ep 8: The start of this episode is another case of RWBY humor not really hitting home for me. Another case of Yang just using her semblance for a tantrum. Seriosuly White Rose gets a fucking moment every episode. Yang and Blake barely fucking interact. I'm going insane. The rest of the episode is basically one big action scene, and well, it's RWBY at its best, so no real complains here. Roman is kind of awfully underutilized, isn't he.

On the Bees: I'd love to go on a rant like last episode but honestly shit still applies. The only actual interaction Yang and Blake have here is when Yang is feeling proud of Ruby, and it speaks nothing about their dynamic.

Ep 9: Last episode Blake wasn't saying shit and now she's suddenly a huge part of the redecorating efforts. The problem isn't that I think she should be a loner or aloof, the problem is that it doesnt' feel too consistent. She starts being like "leave me alone I wanna read", she barely exchanges a word with Yang later, and now she joins in on the fun? idk, maybe she could've joined in a less overt way. Other than that it's a fine scene, though it goes too fast for my liking. The classroom scene is amazing because it teaches us basically nothing, other than the mention of the 4 kingdoms. Like it says a lot of shit about 'true huntsmen' which ends up proving mostly untrue through the rest of the show. Which would be fine if it was like, a point made, but it's not really.

On the Bees: N o t h i n g.

Ep 10: More White Rose people really trying to tell me not to ship them because the bees are canon but fuck you THEIR DYNAMIC IS THE BEST PART OF EARLY RWBY. Always with the caveat of 'pacing could be better' ofc. Anyways what the fuck was up with professor moustache flirting with Yang what were they thinking. I think the Weiss/Ruby conflict could have been stretched a bit. Rather than a day, make it a week or something. Still, this is one of the better episodes of the season, iirc.

On the Bees: Nada. Zero. Nanai. But we keep getting fuel for White Rose DO YOU UNDERSTAND MY FRUSTRATION HERE. LIKE SERIOUSLY I WOUDLN'T EVEN MIND THE ABSOLUTE LACK OF ANY EXPLICIT QUEERNESS IN THESE EARLY VOLUMES IF THEY AT LEAST BOTHERED TO MAKE THE SUPPOSED 'PLANNED FROM THE BEGINNING' COUPLE INTERACT PROPERLY. NOBODY WOULD BE CASTING DOBUT TO THE CLAIM IF WHITEROSE HAD ENDED UP BEING CANON.

Ep 11: Ok, here's the thing. Aura is a manifestation of the soul. I can accept it can be measured somehow. The question here is, what exactly happens when it breaks? Like, what happens to your fucking soul? Really, I would just make it vital energy the same way ki or chakra works, because tying it to the soul like that just leads to questions. Anyways this episode is just the setup for the "jaune gets bullied arc". I'll actually not say too much about it because my own thoughts towards bullies are rather… extreme (as in, I would kill them all without hesitation were I given the chance sort of extreme). So instead of commenting on how absolutely terribly I think this arc is handled, I'll… not do that. That being said, none of team JNPR or RWBY standing up for Bunnygirl is kind of bullshit. Also, we know there's cameras everywhere on beacon, so why don't the teachers do shit? Though to be fair, teachers not doing shit about bullying is the most realistic part of this whole thing.

On the Bees: Still nothing.

Ep 12: Ok so the discussion of "making up new races to be racist towards" has been ongoing for as long as the internet has existed, probably earlier than that too. I am white, and I'm not from the US. In my country I'd say we have far more xenophobia than we do racism, and we didn't have a civil war over the the concept of freeing slaves. We just sort of did it. All of this to say: I'm not really in a position to give too pointed an opinion on the whole 'racist towards faunus' thing. With that and my refusal to speak on hte bullying topic, that kind of leaves me with little to say in general about the rest of the volume, huh. That being said, while I don't mind the Jaune/Pyrrha thing, and I do like the idea of Jaune somehow faking his way into beacon… how? How exactly does he do that? Like, think about all the security shit we've seen over the years. How does anyone create fake transcripts? Woudln't Ozpin or Glynda call the schools of their students to make sure their records are correct? idk. Maybe Ozpin just found the idea funny.

On the Bees: Knees.

Ep 13: I like the conversation between Jaune and Ruby, though it feels a bit… random for Ruby to be saying this? I guess the idea is she matured a bit after the conversation with Ozpin but it doesn't really feel like she's at the point where she should be saying stuff like this yet. I think she and Jaune should've played off each other, instead of Ruby acting like she's experienced about this.

On the Knees: Bees. Or, actually, I think it was wasps in that box.

Ep 14: Pyrrha's semblance is later treated as though it were secret (iirc) but she certainly doesn't seem to care too much about it right now. Wouldn't it be a matter of public reacord, anyways? Like, if you go to a fighting school, I'd reckon they want to know what their fighters' semblances are. Wouldn't want to have Gorey McBloodhands walk into the next sparring session and make someone explode from the inside, know what I mean? I suppose the existence of Salem could work to explain the masking of this but… They put up public tournaments where the best fighters are literally shown to the whole world anyways, and most semblances aren't as subtle as Pyrrha's so, you know. Anyways, that moment when Jaune's aura glows… Is… that supposed to be his semblance? I think it was more just that thing Pyrrha said about Jaune having a lot of aura, but if Jaune can use his semblance on himself, well… Fuck, the implications. Jaune could be the most broken character of this cast. Should be, even. Only semblances like Tyrian's should be able to counter him.

On the Bumbles: What happened to the box of wasps anyways.

Ep 15: Ok, so the only thing I will say about the racism arc: It makes sense Weiss would be racist, I just think it comes out of nowhere, when they had at least 2 other chances to show it in the past to build up to all of this. First thing Sun does when he shows up: Flirt! With Blake! More at the bottom Anwyays previous to final episode of the volume and… we introduce 2 random ass characters out of nowhere. And no, this wasn't planned from the beginning, this was done in haste because Monty thought it'd be cool to have them in a fight scene, and it shows. Monty was a genius animator but the guy could have done a little consulting with his team, really. THAT BEING SAID. I kinda think like they did the best they could. For all my complaints, using Sun as the trigger for Wiess's rampant racism (even though it could've been built up to) is effective enough. And… Ok Penny is a bit superfluous and she… doesn't really add anything to the scene other than being a literal obstacle, but, uh, could be worse really. I didn't much care for penny back in the day, but I do love Penny after V7-8, much as her revival bothers me (I remember when they claimed that no, Penny couldn't be brought back to life despite being a machine. You really want me to believe their claims about other stuff when they pull shit like that? You know the whole racism argument could have been a moment for Yang and Ruby to actually partake in the conversation. Especially yang since, you know, they were totally planned as a couple from the beginning.

On the Bees: Nothing! But Sun had a moment with Blake! Two, actually! And Sun's gonna be the one getting the infodump first. Like, dude's really gonna connect more and more deeply with Blake over a cup of fucking coffee than Yang has in literal months- "But no guys you don't understand there was never anything going on there clearly it was nothing it had no narrative impact it was meaningless fr fr" I'll say more about this over the volumes because holy fuck the level of cope is amazing here. I know I'm gonna sound like a goddamn hetfag complaining about this but you seriously need to understand I'm a yuri connoisseur I fucking hate heterosexuality (in media. real heterosexuals are ok sometimes) (this is a joke but only if the previous comment offended you if not it's real)

Ep 16: Well I already said my piece about Blake telling her backstory to Sun rather than her teammates. Way to go Yang, sticking up for Blake in the face of Weiss's continued racism. How effective is it to hold someone at gun/knifepoint, given the existence of Aura? If Blake tried to slit Roman's throat, even with a shot, its unlikely she'd be able to pierce through the aura, right? Cool fights are cool. Ok, racism arc aside, I do think it's kind of a problem that Weiss just… solves her racism because she 'thought about it'. Like, bitch wasn't even confronted about it, you get me? I like the idea of the 'reunion', the problem is… it doesn't feel earned. Pacing issues, like usual, but especially awful here.

On the Bees: N O T H I N G BLAKE WAS MISSING FOR HALF A DAY AND WEISS HAD MORE OF A REUNION WITH HER AND RUBY HAD MORE OF A REACTION.

Anyways, V1 finished. Veredict? It's a mess. It's RWBY. Despite all the criticisms I've thrown its way, I believe I enjoyed it more this second time than the first, to be quite honest.

And no, this volume did absolutely nothing to convince me that Bumblebee was planned from the start. In fact it kind of pushed me in the opposite direction. Like, the VA's really shipped this from the start? Fucking why? They barely interact, when they do it's fucking dry, and Blake has deeper moments of connection with the other two members of RWBY than with Yang. I am genuinely astounded anyone would believe the claims the bee's were always meant as endgame. Fucking hell.

On a completely separate note: Pyrrha doesn't pass the Bechdel Test for volume 1. Yes I kept track of this.

The False Accusation

Recently, I was accused of secretly being an incest shipper due to the designs of Cupbros' parents, Walter and Utena. This baseless accusation, presented as an "opinion," was deeply upsetting. While it's understandable that some might initially mistake the designs of my characters, taking it a step further to accuse me of something I’ve never done is completely unjustified.

Setting the Record Straight

Let me make this clear: I detest incest and cupcest ships. Being falsely accused of supporting something I find reprehensible is not something I can simply brush off. I’m a human being with feelings, and words have the power to hurt.

The Impact of Words

It's troubling to think that some might dismiss this as me being overly sensitive to someone’s "opinion." However, just as you would feel uncomfortable when criticized, so do I when accused of something so serious.

Taking Action

To the person who accused me: You are now blocked from all my blogs. You won’t have to see my artwork anymore. Consider this a resolution to your discomfort.

A Plea for Peace

Okay usually I don't give a shit when people lie about me, but when they're going around under larger creators posts and making baseless claims, I feel like it's a good idea to say something.

This is bullshit. I have NEVER messaged someone on here just fake claiming them. I do not go around to people with trauma they label with RAMCOA and tell them it's not possible or untrue. Never have I ever stated that using the label RAMCOA makes you a faker. The only person on this account I have ever called out for "faking" was the bait account Snowchester, who I pointed out was obvious bait before they had admitted it themselves. It was obvious, ofc I could tell it was bait.

In every single post I make about RAMCOA I make it very clear and very known that I do not stand by the beliefs this person is claiming I do. I do not think people who use the term RAMCOA are lying, I do not think the abuses listed here are fake. I myself would qualify as a "RAMCOA" survivor if the term wasn't horrible in origin or outdated.

This persons claim is entirely baseless and there has never been any proof of me harassing anyone cause I don't. However, I'm sick of acting like the people accusing me of these things should be allowed to just go around lying about shit while I refuse to name drop them out of respect for their own privacy. I don't care anymore, so I'm 90% sure the person this system knows IRL is @squidcourse. Squid has been falsley accusing me of things since I made my blog. If it's not them then idk who it is but I don't care either cause Squid has been accusing me of this same thing for as long as I've been on this app.

Things including: Harassing them on anon, harassing them and others in messages, admitting to being a "singlet" then deleting the post admitting it, faking random people in DMs with no proof or only on anon, calling RAMCOA a slur, and probably more I'm forgetting cause I'm pissed.

What's crazy is no one accusing me of anything ever has proof and I don't even know how to prove this myself. Squid has had me blocked since the first week or so of making my account, I have had no way to message them since they claimed I harassed them the first time on anon. Whoever Moris is talking about, if not Squid, I have no harassed either. I have never even been the one to initiate a DM on this app.

So yeah. If you see this person, @squidcourse, or anyone on this app accusing me of something without proof, just know it's pure bullshit. Until someone provides you proof of an accusation, don't believe it. If I ever actually do something wrong and it's brought up, especially if it's got proof, I will be more than able to address it and take accountability.

TL;DR: I've never done this shit, one person on here has been accusing me of this stuff forever and I think it's them who Moris is talking about, don't believe claims without proof.

"Her memories show her and a few clan members moving from Uzushiogakure to Kirigakure when she was young. However, there is about a year or two's worth of memories blocked from us. The furthest I can see too is her being taken to a room or a lab... Could it be that the Uzumaki is blocking us from seeing her memories?"

"I doubt that she can complete such a refined and powerful jutsu at such a young age," Kushina spoke up, breaking the very still silence, "Regardless, she is still a child, we must-"

"Do not let her age be an oversight Kushina. Children can be capable of anything. Look at that retched Uchiha. Shisui was it? The one who murdered his fellow teammate on the front lines. Do not talk of children as innocent beings. They are just as capable of destruction as we are," an elder spat with a look of disdain painted in his expression.

"Now, now Danzo. You mustn't judge our respected ninjas on baseless accusations," the Hokage remarked, "What else can you see in her memories Inoichi?"

"Y/N Uzumaki... she's a deeply damaged child," Inoichi admitted, "Her family, her experience in the academy in Kirigakure..., none of it is fitting for a child."

"I see," sighed the Hokage, "Regardless, she needs to be monitored whilst she is here in the village. Not to mention, we still do not know if there are any other Uzumaki's in the same position as her, or if they're alive even. And we still don't have a definitive reason as to why Y/N Uzumaki is on the run, more specifically who captured her and why."

The room becomes enveloped in silence. It was almost stifling as the suspicion settled in their minds.

"I'll see to it that an anbu member is dispatched to follow her, dismissed." The Hokage exclaimed as he dismissed the jounins from the meeting and sat back in his chair, leaving a single red-haired kunoichi with him.

Just who was Y/N Uzumaki? Who took her captive? Why are her memories blocked? 

"Lord third, is it okay if Y/N gets put on my team? We're one member short, you know, and I would love to give the poor girl some closure. She's an Uzumaki! And besides I refuse to-"

"I understand Kushina," the hokage interrupted, "I planned for her to join your team, being with another Uzumaki might give her some closure."

"Thank you Lord Third!"

By the time I made it to my apartment after my run-in with Zetsu, dawn had already broke in Konoha and sleep crept its way over my body. But that doesn't matter as long as I am with her.

Sumire leaned back in her chair, eyes half closed, letting her memories wash over her as she played with my hair.

"Do you remember," she began, her voice barely louder than a whisper, "the summer before I started at the academy, when we played in the attic pretending like it was our own world? We thought we were so smart, hiding from everyone, like no one could see us.""

"Of course I do! We used to drag every pillow and blanket in sight just to make a fort. Stay up late with a flashlight and you'd tell ghost stories, and I would always end up too afraid to sleep." I remarked as nostalgia filled the air around us.

Sumire chuckled at the memory, shrugging with a playful grin as she pinched my cheek, "I don't think I ever scared you. You were always the braver one."

We fell into a comforting silence as we listened to the evening cicadas hum their songs.

"I quite liked our little attic world," she said after a while, her voice soft and gentle as though the precious memory would shatter at any moment if she uttered those words any louder, "you, me and our little attic wor-."

The morning songs whistled by the birds drew me back to reality. I am no longer the innocent, naïve girl who can run up to her attic and pretend that this sick, twisted reality doesn't exist.

Oh well, this is going to be harder than I thought but for now all I can do is play the part of a girl on the run from a kidnapper whose missing her parents.

How ironic.

"SHIT! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!" I yelled as I tried to shove my shoes on, tripping whilst doing so.

I rushed out of the door before hitting the railing of the apartment sidewalk. Sprinting down the stairs, I prayed to Kami that with some divine intervention I'd make it to the academy on time.

I ran through the halls and stood outside my classroom, listening in on the chatter and gossip between the other kids.

Perhaps this is my chance to start anew. A chance to have a normal childhood.

Taking in a deep breath, I slid the door open as the teacher greeted me, "Hello, I'm Kisuke sensei. Everyone, meet your new classmate."

"I'm Y/N Uzumaki. Please treat me well and I hope we can all get along." I said a bit too excitedly as I bowed down in front of my classmates.

I hoped on making a good impression them yet it must seem that the stars do take enjoyment in my failures as I tripped on the first step towards the desks.

Kami, just eat me alive.

At this point I'd rather be 7 feet under the ground then at the academy.

And of course, luck just wasn't on my side today.  The stifling silence was ripped by a multitude of laughs and jeers.

"Oh Kami, she just tripped!"

"How did she miss the step that's right in front of her?"

"Good luck becoming a shinobi with those reflexes." The children jeered, mocking the way I fell over, pointing out every single insignificant detail about the way I look and talk.

Kiri kids were nothing like this; they were much worse. Had I done this in Kirigakure, I would have been physically tormented. Just thinking about it makes my scars ache.

"IDIOTS! You all act as if you've never tripped before in your lives and besides did you just not hear who she is? She's from a famous shinobi clan. And to think you're going to graduate and become successful shinobi. You might just have more luck becoming a mute donkey but that would be an insult to all the mute donkey in the world! So shut it! You're ruining my sleep!" a voice yelled, annoyed by his petty classmates.

"Now, now Akira, no need to insult your peers like that. AND STOP SLEEPING IN MY LESSONS!"

Before he could yell a string of profanities, the Akira boy held his tongue before letting out a barely audible 'Hn'.

What a bipolar child.

He shouts snarky remarks yet his vocabulary seems as broad as a toothpick. Interesting.

"Apologies Y/N-chan. And for that lovely public display, Y/N chan is going to tail you for the rest of the day so she gets a feel for academy life." Kisuke sensei retorts as he points to a now sleeping Akira, who has his head between his arms, "Don't you dare ignore me young man!"

"Whatever." Akira yawned as he waved his hand lazily.

"Please take a seat by Akira Kuran whose over there, Y/N chan." Sensei said pointing his finger to a now sleeping boy.

I slowly made my way to the sleeping child. His demeanor was amusing to say the least but I can't break out of character; remember who you are, a runaway, a nothing. As I took my seat next to the very clearly disinterested  Akira, I heard him mumble something into his arm loud enough for the both of us to hear.

"Donkey"

The academy -to say the least- was uneventful. Children learning about chakra, its natures and control. Children were only learning them now at age 12. Did kids in Konoha have it this easy?The village hidden in the mist subjected every young child to violence and pain. The village was  heralded as the 'blood mist village'.

By age 8 I was forced to fight against the children I spent the last 5 years of my life with. Forced to mercilessly kill my friends for the prospect of graduating the academy.

"Psst Akira! It's time for lunch." I whispered, chuckling at his half sleepy state.

"Huh? Guess it's time to go sleep under the tree then" he muttered as he sluggishly dragged his legs down the steps, stopping a few centimeters into the corridor. I followed him through the academy halls before I knocked onto his back, falling onto the floor during the process.

"You know, when I called you a donkey, I didn't think you'd take it to heart and start following me like one."  He chuckled before turning around to give me a hand.

"Jerk! You're supposed to be my guide." I said as I turned my head away from his gaze, pouting towards the wall.

"Pout any longer and your lip will reach the floor, donkey." he laughed, still holding out his hand for me. I reluctantly took his hand and stood up. We made our way through the academy training grounds until Akira stopped and lied down on the grass under the tree.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Learning how to fly. What do you think I'm doing? I'm watching the sky."

"I can see that Bakakira. Why aren't you eating lunch?"

"Meh I'm not hungry."

"Well, let's see why you enjoy watching the sky." I said as I lied down, letting the soft grass cushion my back, "I must admit the skies here are much prettier than the skies back in the hidden mist village, whether it be the blue skies of the day or dusk or dawn or even midnight, the skies always make me feel at peace."

"I used to watch the skies with my dad every day when I was younger and I love to still do it now. I feel like I can connect with him this way."

"I think that's quite admirable, Akira-kun.  Watching the skies gives me some sort of comfort, it is constant which gives me hope that things will get better."

"I'm glad you are staying hopeful during this. I heard what had happened, my mum serves as an elite bodyguard to the hokage, I hope you find your family soon."

"That means a lot Akira-kun, thank you."

"Of course, nothing I wouldn't do for a friend." He said as he turned his head to face mine and smiled.

"Who knew Akira-kun had a lil soft side to him." I chuckled

"Way to ruin the moment donkey."

My headcanon about how balanced the 4ggravate/sumeru boys are as a group by helping each other in one specific area

Tighnari becomes the other three emergency contact, but he only finds out when something happens: - Cyno gets into a bad fight with a group of eremites nothing uncommon but he pushed too far this time. - Kaveh faints from exhaustion after his project presentation in the desert. -Alhaitham gets a little too sarcastic this time and a book thrown by the offended knocks him out cold.

Tighnari questions his choices in friends, but even tho is not weird for cyno to do this he is happy and pleasantly surprise about the other two trusting him to take care of them.

For someone that avoids social interactions and blocks noisy conversations, Alhaitham has an ear to the ground when someone mentions any of the other three in bad faith. Granted, is quite entertaining for him to argue with people of how wrong and baseless their claims and rumors are but he also faults them of their creativity. General Mahamatra a smuggler of forbidden knowledge capsules? Forest Watcher accused of bad praxis for his "connections" with a fatui harbinger? Although, haitham will have a little fun with the Light of Kshahrewar rumors you know to give his "creative" side a spin. At least they don't know kaveh's actual secret😉

Kaveh self proclaimed guide to the other three social interactions. Nari doesn't need that much by how naturally popular he is but he caaaaaaan be a little too stern so people have grown scared of upsetting him, cyno and alhaitham are a mess. Every political and academic event Kaveh is there next to them to avoid starting a war with just because of how socially inept those three can be at specific situations. Cyno with his awkward jokes, Nari with his short temper and alhaitham's.... well everything. Kaveh's emotionally tired.

Cyno is the one that bails out everyone out of jail, kaveh is the one who isn't much of a problem in his druken harmless adventures oppose to Mr "i have no fucks to give" and Mr. "what are they going to do LOCK ME up?!" Although it is a true bother to do this every time they already know him at the station, he's touched by the little family they have created without noticing, they protect each other in all ways that matter.

At the end of the day, all four of them have perfected their own safety net in sumeru. Sometimes when things are hard the mere thought of knowing they have someone to fall back to, lend a hand, gets them through those tough days. But you will caught them dead before any of them admits it......maybe cyno will joke about it one day.

Making this post because I am so incredibly tired of all this bullshit, with all the stress me and my friend went through.

TW Drama

It's been almost two months, and i've been isolated, under the pretext that I'm a harasser and that I've manipulated and bullied two former members of my server. 

My friend already clarified this on his response post on his now inactive alt, but this is not true. I have almost never talked to Zeteroxx in DMS, and when I did, it was me checking if it was okay after it felt bad after a roleplay session. On the server, i've always been respectful. All I did was reminding it and Fey to respect the rules, which they were both constantly breaking. Venting, bringing out dramas, constantly despite my warnings. I have tried to be understanding, and most of the time I would just brush off their behaviour even when it made several members uncomfortable. Venting is not allowed on this server, and while I understand they'd want a safe space to vent to, it shouldn't have been here. People from the server did want to help it by making a venting group. People were not harassing Zeteroxx.

It got upset when Theoku stated he felt uncomfortable at the idea of Zeteroxx seeing his content. That's it.

Fey did have disagreements with members of the server but again, it was always respectful, and members were always understanding of Fey's past experiences. Their disagreements with Theoku were resolved in DMS and were not heated. At all. Not in any way was it harassment. Theoku had always been trying to be respectful as well.

And again, the proshipper allegations are baseless. Just because I drew my Basil|Stranger character wearing a crop top and flirting with Sunny. They're both 17, and even then, there was nothing sexual about this. It is just a teenager wearing a crop top. What is wrong with you people. And since it is now used as Fey's main argument against us, I find it concerning. They seem to care way more about a drawing they don't like than the actual person who has been hurt. 

It is valid from Zeteroxx not to feel good after someone clearly said they don't like it, in a moment where it was in a very bad headspace and struggling. But I do condemn the constant harassment from their side.  The amount of posts they've been making on us and telling my mutuals and friends to block me is harassment. I have received asks that were clearly the results of those posts. And talking to the artists I've interacted with to "warn them about us", making a bunch of call out posts is a hate campaign. Fey, what you're doing is harassment, and it's not helping anyone. All it's doing is hurting every party involved. I am not happy about losing mutuals, potential friends. I am not happy about seeing all the hard work I've put on this blog crumble.

Fey was the one who had been horribly disrespectful, misgendering Theoku and using the wrong name despite his constant reminders; while insisting on using the right pronouns for you, which we had been doing since the beginning. This is in no way okay. 

Explicitly refusing to use the name that Theoku gave them because “it’s clearly the host talking, not Sunny” despite Theoku clearly stating it is his name everywhere including on discord is disgusting.

I invite you to look at the posts Fey had been making "exposing us", as well as Theoku's response on his alt account ( @theokusobjection ) but you can clearly see that no significant proof was formulated that would prove us guilty of such things.

They have been accusing us while misusing extremely serious and sensitive language, with again, no concrete proof. I am not happy about the image they are painting of us, it has been impacting our mental healths very badly.

And regarding this old friend again, this should've stayed a private matter. I am deeply hurt by this as well as it was a very painful and traumatic friendship fallout. I had been avoiding this person and moving on with life, and that helped me recover from all of this, yet here we are.

I stayed silent for so long to protect myself, not to feed the drama, but I cannot take this anymore.

He's like a solid two heads shorter then you. You sorta gotta crane your neck to be looking at him, so does he.

You can't help but crack a bit of smile at how pissed off he looks. He's so tiny, and he looks so fucking angry. It's pure comedy, lightens the weight of the fact you'll be forced to marry in no more then a months time.

"Fuck are you smiling at?!"

"Do you even know my name? Or am I just some fucked up social experiment, see if the heir can handle an inorganically formed Matespritship?" His voice is all shaky as he lays down such baseless accusations.

You can't help but laugh a bit.

Yeah, no, he hit the nail on the head as any of your non-Alternian bros would say.

This whole fucking deal is a mess.

"Well why don't you tell me your name, we'll see if I got given the right infographics in preparation."

That was clearly the absolutely, 100% wrong thing to say because he raises his head and he's crying these pretty red tears and looks livid. Highkey those tears do look like rubies, all shiny and heady with pigment. You try not to focus on that though because he looks like he's ready to bang his cranium against a wall till his horns snap right off.

He just, he just sort of sighs. Whole body heaving up, and then down again. He wipes away his tears with the sleeve of his jacket before looking at you.

"I'm Karkat Vantas."

"And I'm—"

"Gamzee Makara. Unlike some of us I did some research on who I'm being forced into partnering with."

This time the laughter is sheepish.

Karkat does not reciprocate the notion.

"Look, Karkat, I'm like, sorry you're stuck here. but it'll only be a month before ya get kicked." You hope the notion is a comfort. Like, arguably the position he's in is way shittier then yours. You're just the prince who gets to go through a hundred arranged Matespritship's till one is found that clicks. Why it's always an arranged deal, you don't know, but tradition's a tradition. And uh, nobody in charge wanted to break, even if you were verbose about it.

Karkat just groans, dropping his head in his hands again.

"If it makes you feel any better we could go have some pie."

"How the fuck would pie make me feel better?"

"'Cause it's got sopor slime. Always takes the edge off for me."

"You know what, sure. Let's go have some sopor pie. Get absolutely zonked out of our fucking gourds. Let's do that. It sounds fucking great."

Despite how sarcastic he sounds he is standing up and making his way over to you.

Realistically, you and Karkat probably should've at least tried to click in that fabled flushed way.

Instead of doing any of that you mostly spent two weeks just fucked up. There wasn't ever a single waking moment spent fully sober, always drifting between absolutely fucked beyond belief or barely holding onto that blissful high. Of course, one slice for Karkat did as much for him as a whole pie for you.

He's really giggly when he's high. That or he's dead silent. There isn't really much of an in between until he's coming down from it.

Doesn't bother you much though. You're just glad it makes him a little bit less angry at the entire world.

It's a mistake, that's what you try to explain to yourself as Karkat retracts his hands.

Then he steps back.

"Fuck."

Whether you only think it or say it you aren't sure, but the touch lingers. Like, it really fucking lingers. In a good way, kinda like a fuzzy blanket, a phantom sensation.

When your vision is properly and fully focused again you look at Karkat. You don't even bother hunching yourself to do so, he's already so far away you don't even need to. Nothing but fear is on his face, a shiny veneer of red in his eyes as he shivers with far too fast breathing.

"Yo, dawg."

You try to keep your tone as even as possible.

Apparently that's making it worse because Karkat really does start crying. In a really quiet way, nothing like how he normally does. Tears just sorta roll down clear skin, free of the greasepaint you taught him how to do. They gather at the edges of his jaw before falling down to the ground.

"Why'd ya fucking shooshpap me brother?" You gesture a little bit as you talk, trying to ease this horrid tension in the air.

"I didn't mean to, I swear. I was just doing stuff and then I did that. Was it really shooshpapping? I don't think so-" Karkat prattles on for a brief moment, a lot of the words just hit you but don't really sink in. He speaks fast. Too fast for it to register sometimes, and maybe that sweet, sweet haze of contact is still fogging your thinkpan.

You take a couple steps closer and Karkat keeps on talking. You drop to a knee, which puts you shorter then he is. Reach out with both hands, and just, give him a gentle little bap and shush him.

And he goes dead silent.

The opening to talk before he starts up again is brief.

"I know it wasn't the reason you got brought here in the first place, but, I have been feeling just a bit pale for you. Wild what getting loaded and talking about stuff can do to the way ya feel, ya know?"

Karkat still doesn't answer. You haven't stopped tapping hands on his face, careful with your claws.

"Being a Moirail with the heir probably won't look very good as a report back to your fam, but if it's mutual, I wouldn't say no. And if it's not, then I can totally set you up for life 'cause—"

Before you can continue you Karkat is returning the favor, hands on your face and repeatedly tapping. He's still too speechless to talk much, but there is a small little hint of a smile. The slightest little uptick that shows off far too sharp teeth (especially this one little snaggletooth fang).

You'll take that as a reciprocation of pale feelings.

I’m sorry about the person harassing you about being “a blue MAGA” when you very clearly aren’t, I don’t know how people can be so cruel that they’ll scream and cry about how your a terrible person for not talking about issues in their country when a good chunk of your own is worried about having their rights taken away and the entire country becoming a dictatorship- I’m not completely sure if they blocked you before they did it, but they are very much encouraging people that see the post to go to your page and harass you (to be more specific, they are showing screenshots and commentary about the whole argument and then posting a link to make it easier to get to your account directly after attacking you) so I wanted to come here and both notify you about that and also apologize for them and anyone that comes from the post- it sucks that people can’t see the hypocrisy that yelling about how terrible of a person you are for not talking about their issues while completely ignoring any of your own is. They tried doing this to a few other people too but they either didn’t respond or didn’t respond in a way they thought they could twist into them looking like a horrible person for people to attack, I hope despite everything that you have an amazing day/night

And just a last note to others who might come from that post. Trying to bully and harass those who are genuine about helping others and have actually supported causes you say you believe in too makes you come off like you don't actually care about those causes. An Artist Beware

I don't do these very often, but this is something I feel warrants a warning because this is something that could, potentially, do real harm.

Without further ado

The user in question is a person named Zoffu. (Here and on Toyhouse, as well as YCH Commishes, and I think Instagram) I am going to explain what happened, and warn others from buying from them in the future.

It started with this whole fiasco. I won an auction on an adoptable that I saw a few times and liked. It was a cute design. I enjoyed the colors, but there were a couple things I would change if I won. The bidding was at $8 so I figured might as well. I was going to redraw it or have them do edits, because it had human feet on an anthro which I don't like. I personally prefer digitigrade feet, humanoid feet just look off on anthro characters.

They refused to sell an adoptable that I won the bidding on, and THEN accused me of being a zoophile to somebody else. Why? Because I gave a code to somebody for their friend. Guy said his name was Ethan, wasn't really into the adoptable scene that much, just liked looking at the creative character designs and art.

Of course I was happy to help! I love Toyhouse, and I love buying and selling adopts! I honestly wanted to find the person and give them some characters from my sales account once the invite was used, just to get them started, when they reached out to me and told me that Zoffu LITERALLY TOLD THEM I WAS A ZOOPHILE!!!!!!! That is not ok. That is in no way ok. Baseless accusations like that can really damage a person.

He said he wanted to ask me directly because that was a big accusation, and also said that he felt I was in the right to know that this person may have been going around saying that shit about me. I wouldn't know. The fucker blocked me over some petty bullshit.

They wanted to control what you have in your gallery. Their TOS said they "check their sold designs regularly" to "Make sure you aren't breaking their TOS" and it's like. Why does it matter? When you sell something to me, it stops belonging to you, and starts belonging to me. You can't control what I did with it. It's mine. I paid you. What's stopping somebody from reselling it in the future and me getting ahold of it?

Honestly, if they want to control what happens to designs they make so badly, maybe they just shouldn't make and sell designs.

ANYWAY. The reason for this beware is that the person accused me of being a zoophile, to another person, in a way where they could easily find me. They straight up just referred me to me as "A zoophile they blocked". False accusations are extremely damaging, because a LOT of people just believe everything at face value.

Be REALLY!!!! careful when getting anything from this artist. Extremely careful. Unless, of course, you want to be accused of being a zoophile and have that accusion spread to other people who may or may not have even a very thin connection to you!

I write what I do because I want to and because I find the topics interesting, not to mention some of the conflicts and struggles my muses go through are very familiar to me and I don't see them portrayed a lot in RP, or media in general. Or they ARE portrayed, just not well.

If you don't like it and don't want to acknowledge that stuff like that still happens across the world and is a very real aspect of people's lives, then I won't be upset if you want to unfollow, block, et cetera. I'm glad you have a very nice life, because I certainly wouldn't wish anything that happened to me or other people to be inflicted upon anyone else.

I simply do not appreciate rude comments about the content I choose to focus on, it literally takes two seconds to hardblock and blacklist my url. I can see where some people are coming from, they don't want to see certain topics be glamorized or taken lightly, but if you actually spend time reading my threads and headcanons, then you would know that I am not being disrespectful of the subject matter I explore.

Also, as someone who is Trans themselves, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to forget what it's like to be socialized a certain way. Identifying as another gender does not erase the life experiences and hardships one goes through being subjected to others' assumptions and biases, especially heteronormative gender roles. Acknowledging that is not 'transphobic'.

Honestly, something that I've learned from being in the md/zs Fandom is that jc antis make absolutely no sense. By their logic, if liking jc makes you an abuse apologist, wouldn't liking, say, ww/x, make you a torture apologist? ww/x didn't just whip people to death, which is a rumor jc antis love to bring up, he went as far as to make someone self cannibalize. Wouldn't that be a reflection of their character as well? Well, no, I guess, cause it's only bad when jc does it🤣🤣 NO MATTER what jc antis say, it's NEVER actually a moral argument they are making, especially when they excuse/ignore the actions of other characters who have done far worse. They're just weirdly obsessed with purity, so they have to make jc the "evil entity" so characters like ww/x are as pure as possible, which is frankly idiotic in a novel like mdzs. I mean, I like ww/x, jc antis just make ww/x unbearably BORING. And don't be sad about their cyberbullying ways. In response to jc's "canon homophobia" I've made the point that wwx himself made a homophobic comment in the beginning of the book before he realised that he himself was gay (societal context matters here for both characters.. which they seem to willfully ignore when discussing jc's perceived homophobia, whilst brushing off wwx's and the other characters in the book for that matter!).

No one in mdzs is perfect. That's a given. Not everything is black and white either. That's a message taught to us by mxtx. She makes it obvious in her text that we are not meant to read the characters at surface level. That there are more to a character's actions than meets the eye.
