binged Kedamonotachi no Jikan and I'm still... processing... what I just read, but can I just say how cathartic it was to see Airi get back at her family when she goes to her hometown for the funeral...

#Kedamonotachi no Jikan #comforting even #I was cheering for her #like I DO NOT recommend this manga - tw for heavy topics such as csa incest and gore to say the least #but I liked the way they handled Airi's trauma #heard some people didn't like the second half (like yeah... the... dog... Hiro... thing...... yeahhgh... fair enough)#but to me it was worth seeing her slapping shit out her father and telling her mom and family off #I have so many feelings about the scene with Airi feeling bad confronting her mom (even though she is in the right)#because she feels bad hurting people despite everything she went through #like she understands what her mom also had to deal with #but she needed to step out of confort zone to break the cycle to be able start over her life #idk were im going with this its 4 am my brain is tired #i just hope it gets a few more chapters for a decent conclusion at least and how they'll deal with Hiro

actually sometimes being neurodivergent is great bc you have a particular kind of Silly Mode that just . manifests glory. harmless fun is my precious side quest & i have a high score in whimsy. like okay if i gotta be the first dork in the dance pit it's gonna be me and this random toddler and we're gonna avril-style rock ouuuuttt

Anna Williams did not run through miles of forest nor face off with an infected with literally only a switchblade and sheer desperation all while fucking IN LABOR, then cut her daughter's umbilical cord with her own hands, clean her up, name her, love her, and hold her for hours even as she knew and felt that she was dying, prepared to stab herself with that same switchblade to save her baby, then beg her lifelong friend to take her girl somewhere safe where she could grow up happy and protected only for Marlene to fuckin sacrifice that girl, that baby she swore to her dying friend to take care of, for a shoddy at best chance to save an already irrevocably shattered world. Both the Williams ladies deserved better than that.
