Hi can I have Ignihyde for # 8, fluff or comedy. Thank you!
Anime Boot Camp || Idia Shroud ft. Ortho
For the Holiday Event! || Prompt: "This is non-negotiable" ; Genre: Fluff with Comedy ;
You should’ve known better. You really should have. But Idia had given you one of those rare, half-excited, half-nervous smiles, and you’d been putty in his hands.
“Sure, Idia,” you’d said with zero hesitation. “I’d love to watch the new season with you.”
A seemingly innocent offer. A simple act of camaraderie. And then, Idia had dropped the bomb.
“Great. We’ll start from season one. It’s non-negotiable.”
Season one?
“Wait—how many seasons are there?” you asked cautiously, trying to keep the panic out of your voice.
Idia adjusted his tablet, the glow highlighting his sinister grin. “Nineteen. Not including the movies, OVAs, or the bonus material. But don’t worry, the filler episodes are only about 35%.”
Your soul left your body.
“I—uh…” you stammered, searching for an escape. “Do we really need to watch everything? I thought we were just watching the new season?”
“You can’t watch season 20 without context!” Idia exclaimed, horrified. “You’d miss all the foreshadowing and character arcs! It’s essential to the viewing experience.”
You looked at him, and there it was: the genuine excitement in his eyes, the rare spark of passion that made him absolutely irresistible. Damn your stupid heart.
“Okay,” you sighed. “Let’s do it. Start from episode one.”
Idia’s face lit up, and if you weren’t already melting, his quiet “Y-you’re the best,” would’ve sealed the deal.
That’s how you found yourself on Idia’s couch, sandwiched between him and Ortho, with snacks piled precariously around you.
“This is the start of a life-changing journey,” Ortho said cheerfully, handing you a soda. “Big Brother has been waiting for someone to share this with forever!”
You glanced at Idia, who was trying to hide his blush behind his hoodie.
“You sure we’re not biting off more than we can chew here?” you asked weakly as the opening theme of season one blasted from the giant screen.
Idia waved you off. “Nah. If we watch at 1.5x speed, skip the ending songs, and only take five-minute breaks every eight episodes, we’ll finish in about four days.”
“Four days?”
“Non-negotiable,” he reminded you smugly, tossing popcorn into his mouth.
By day two, you’d developed Stockholm Syndrome for the characters.
“NO, KAZUTAKA, DON’T DO IT!” you yelled, clutching the blanket you’d stolen from Idia’s bed.
“It’s his tragic backstory arc,” Idia explained, completely unfazed by your emotional outburst. “He has to do it for the narrative payoff in season 14.”
You groaned. “This show is going to kill me.”
“It builds character,” Idia said, smirking.
Meanwhile, Ortho was a model of efficiency, pausing episodes precisely for snack breaks and bringing you hot towels like you were at an anime spa. You were starting to think Ortho might be the MVP of this whole operation.
“Ortho, you’re a saint,” you said as he handed you a cup of tea.
“I just want to support Big Brother’s happiness,” Ortho chirped, beaming.
Idia mumbled something unintelligible and pulled his hoodie tighter.
By day four, you were fully invested.
“THE PLOT TWIST! I KNEW IT!” you screamed, nearly knocking the bowl of chips off your lap.
“Pshh, called it back in episode 47,” Idia muttered, though the gleam in his eyes said he was enjoying this more than he’d admit.
“You did not!” you argued.
“I’ve seen this, like, three times, noob,” he retorted smugly.
Ortho, who had already created a mini shrine for your endurance, clapped in delight. “You’re catching up to Big Brother’s level of dedication!”
When the final credits rolled, you leaned back with a dramatic sigh. “We did it. I can’t believe we actually did it.”
“I can’t believe you survived,” Idia said, looking at you with a mix of awe and amusement.
“Maybe a family sometimes,” you said, stretching, “is just you, your crush, and his technomantic humanoid brother.”
Ortho tilted his head. “Does that mean you’re officially part of the family?”
You froze, glancing at Idia. His face was redder than a lava eel, and he was aggressively pretending to read something on his tablet.
“Well,” you said, smirking. “That depends on your brother.”
Idia groaned, burying his face in his hoodie. “You’re insufferable,” he mumbled.
And yet, when you shifted closer to nudge him playfully, he didn’t pull away.

PSA: RACISM, BIGOTRY, ENTITLEMENT IN HAZBIN HOTEL FANDOM
CONTENT WARNING: Inflammatory hate speech, White hate, political baiting, gaslighting, racism, death threats
The messages I’ve received and am addressing below contain upsetting and harmful language that has no place in any community. If these topics are distressing to you, please prioritize your well-being and feel free to stop reading here. Thank you for taking care of yourself.
I never imagined I would find myself addressing this, but here we are. This post is regarding my recent story, Stay With Me, which has stirred up unexpected controversy due to my decision to imply the reader’s race as white. I want to clarify that this choice was made purely for plot purposes.
The story is set in 1920s Louisiana, a time and place where racial and class dynamics were deeply significant. This backdrop was essential to the narrative’s themes of tension and forbidden love, as it explores the societal barriers that would have made a relationship between Alastor and the reader virtually impossible. The decision to depict the reader as an upper-class white individual was not arbitrary—it was intentional, aimed at heightening the drama and emotional weight of their story.
I deeply value the Hazbin Hotel fandom and the x-reader community. Writing for this space has brought me immense joy, and I’ve formed wonderful connections with both readers and fellow writers. That’s why receiving such hateful and inflammatory messages has been incredibly disheartening. The accusations of racism, the vitriol, and the twisting of my creative choices into something they were never meant to be—this has shaken me more than I can express.
To the anonymous senders of these messages: I want to make it clear that my work comes from a place of love and passion. My intention has always been to tell compelling stories that explore complex emotions, societal norms, and the human condition—stories that resonate with readers on a deeper level. To reduce my work to a political agenda or an act of prejudice is deeply hurtful and entirely unfounded.
I want to echo sentiments shared by Kit (please check out her explanation here), another writer in the fandom, who also explored the racial and class dynamics between characters. Like them, I am fascinated by the tension and drama that arise from star-crossed love stories, particularly when societal laws and prejudices forbid such relationships. Writing the reader as white in this context wasn’t about excluding or favoring anyone—it was about creating an authentic narrative rooted in the realities of the era.
For those questioning why I made this choice, I ask: if you can suspend disbelief to fall in love with a cannibalistic, asexual deer demon, why is the reader’s race—chosen for specific plot reasons—the line you cannot cross? My goal as a writer is to craft stories that make sense within their own context. The entitlement to demand otherwise, or to impose personal prejudices onto my work, is unfair and unwarranted.
I hate that I’ve had to turn off anonymous asks. Some of the most heartfelt and hilarious messages I’ve received have come from anonymous users, and losing that connection with my readers pains me. But unfortunately, the actions of a loud, hateful minority have left me with no choice. I will not entertain further discourse on this matter after this post.
To those who have supported me, who have read my stories and shared kind words: thank you. Your encouragement is what keeps me going. Writing for this fandom has been a labor of love, and I pour my heart and soul into every piece I create—for free, might I add. It’s devastating to feel that love overshadowed by hostility.
I won’t let this stop me from creating, but I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t made me question my place here. To anyone who feels entitled to tear down what others create out of hatred or spite: I hope you take a moment to reflect on the harm your words can cause.
To my true supporters: I appreciate you more than words can express. Your kindness reminds me why I love writing in the first place. Thank you for standing by me.

I’m curious how you think Jayce and Viktor’s romantic/sexual relationship most likely unfolded within the context of the two Arcane seasons. Do you think it would have looked something like the trajectory from Distinguished Innovators or were they just pining for each other but entirely oblivious of the other person's feelings until the very end (especially with what you said at some point about the possibility of Mel being Jayce’s first)
Hmm, so there's fanfic and canon to consider here. I think with fanfic, it can be anything the author desires.
Technically, I think the most canon-accurate romantic read of what's happening on the page is that Jayce and Viktor have feelings for each other but neither is totally aware of their feelings until Jayce has his moment staring into the fire in 2.07 when he "chooses" Viktor. Then Jayce basically confesses during their big final scene and we get a lot of hints that Viktor has felt the same way or been silently and hopelessly pining for him and now they're finally together.
But that never quite works for me because it requires a little too much "carrying the idiot ball" like... these guys spent the entire time skip between 1.03-1.04 in close quarters at all hours of the day creating Hextech together. That's before Jayce becomes the "Man of Progress" or any of that stuff and was just a regular and possibly crazy researcher who almost got banished, so it can't always be a status difference. And Jayce is so affectionate, and he falls for Mel so quickly, I really truly struggle to imagine that with no barriers to a relationship (Runeterra canonically does not have homophobia) they wouldn't have gotten together sooner if something else wasn't in the way.
So, personally, I think that they've tried to or come very close to a relationship in the past, but something prevented them from going all the way and now it's that near-miss is still there in their physicality with one another, and both might still long for it, but one of them is holding it back from happening while the other just thinks it's hopeless and I honestly think after S2 it's Viktor holding back because of his declining health, while Jayce is the one thinking he hasn't got a shot so he might as well, tragically, look elsewhere.
And I'll go into a bit more detail on why I believe that for a romantic read of these two:
(Obviously you can just go the boring old "cuz they're not romantic" but I think that's dull and reductive and presumably not why anyone is the Jayvik tag)
I also don't totally buy the idea that they hadn't figured it out yet? These are two young men in their 20s, who basically instantly connect with one another, share everything, and are openly physically affectionate with each other from the first. In my fic Distinguished Innovators there's a certain amount of shyness and the fact they're just busy to deal with but they're still young men, it's why the fic postulates a physical relationship between them that isn't exclusive or official and thus doesn't change their status as "partners".
But in fics of mine like Parley I first floated another possibility that with time I find more convincing argument: Viktor knows he doesn't have long to live, so he's resolved to keep a certain distance from Jayce and not interfere with any sort of love life he might have (even if it destroys him with jealousy) because he doesn't want Jayce to be totally destroyed by his death, which given how openly affectionate Jayce is, seems inevitable.
This one works for me increasingly because it means the characters don't need to carry the idiot ball. Viktor can have his own strong reasons for not wanting to involve Jayce in that kind of relationship and Jayce can read that Viktor doesn't want to be involved with him in that way, and maybe they even got close and he was pushed back, and he's just respecting that now because he's just happy to have his soulmate in his life in any way he can have him (which I truly sincerely believe is a canonically supported read of Jayce no matter how romantic you see their relationship).
Then the tricky thing about a disease like that is... how much time does he actually have? If it's months, he should focus on leaving a legacy, which Viktor does. If it's years, in theory, they could work on a cure for him, but what if that doesn't work? Then you run into the tragedy of the longer he lives, the more he comes to regret not being with Jayce anyway. Then there's the question of a Hextech cure. I can see Viktor resolving to himself that if he's ever cured, then he'll confess to Jayce. Which feels all but impossible at the end of S1 when Sky dies, but then in 2.08, in the Council chamber scene, it really feels like Viktor finally feels like he's allowed to openly pursue Jayce because he's "perfect" now, and that to me is a linchpin of the idea that Viktor was holding himself back from pursuing Jayce openly because of his health.
Oh and I still think it's possible that Mel is Jayce's first as a result, or very near his first if him and Viktor maybe fooled around a bit or if Jayce had other relationships before that. But there is something very innocent in the way Jayce approaches sleeping with Mel that to me feels very much like he's had only a couple partners or fewer at the very least, if he hasn't been outright "saving himself for marriage" levels of hoping Viktor will notice him someday, which is my Jayvik romantic read of that moment he pauses before returning Mel's kiss, he's thinking, "Do I realistically have a shot with Viktor?" and concluding sadly that, no, he doesn't so he might as well stop denying himself a possible relationship over it anymore.

When I see a "the curtains are just blue"-style take, it reminds me of this horrid American Literature assignment I had back in high school.
I had to write a 15-page report on the themes of East of Eden, with two aggravating caveats. First, I had to pick my theme from a list handed out by the teacher. Second, I had to support my thoughts on that theme not merely by talking about East of Eden, but by finding books scholars had written about EoE and quoting their conclusions.
In short, the teacher told me what East of Eden was about, then made me check what other people think EoE said about those things. I could not make my own interpretation or argument about the story; I could only agree with the conclusions of experts who had come before. And I had to write fifteen pages quoting those experts, then quoting parts of the story that agreed with them.
Luckily, my teacher for the World Literature class I took the next year did a much better job of teaching the material. But I can't help but wonder if the "curtains are just blue" crowd never got a second look. If their education in literary themes was limited to "this story is about what the teacher says it's about".
In that context? You have a story and what the story tells you, then you have what the teacher say the story tells you, and you'd better pretend those two things are the same thing if you want to get a good grade.
I'll never understand the "curtains are just blue sometimes" people. I was soooo fucking excited learning about symbolism. You have a story and what the story tells you. Then you have the fact that it was written at all by someone and that's another story. And then there's also hidden extra story info?

Legacy
Natasha Romanoff x Reader + Family
Word Count: 1.7k
You can definitely read this on its own. Or it can follow on from the last few stories I've posted.
.
You heard the front door slam and winced automatically. Every day seemed to hold another fight between your daughter and your wife.
When Natasha had told you she was picking your daughter up from school, you’d bitten your tongue. You heard the raised voices in the hallway and sighed slowly.
You braced yourself as you rose to join. This didn’t feel like much of a family these days. You felt like more of a peacekeeper than a parent or a partner.
You paused behind the closed door when you heard your daughter yell.
You tried to click pieces into place before you joined them. Something about her hair and her choice.
You heard the low murmur of Natasha’s voice. She always went quiet in fights with your daughter. Some legacy of her past that still made her wary of the impact of raising her voice, of losing her temper entirely.
You couldn’t hear her words but her anger was unmistakable. You opened the door hurriedly. Two pairs of eyes landed on you at once.
Your daughter rushed to get the first word in, as if you were the judge and jury of this argument.
‘I already bought the stuff.’ She told you determinedly. Her fingers gripped her backpack fiercely.
You caught Natasha’s desperate look at you and sighed quietly. Whatever was going on, you knew Natasha was silently asking for your support for a reason.
You tilted your head at your daughter and waited for more information. You hated playing this balancing act.
‘I’m going to dye my hair blue’. Your daughter continued. Her brown eyes flashed suddenly with something that was entirely Natasha.
‘No you’re not.’ Natasha interrupted suddenly from beside you. Her arms moved to cross in front of her. Sometimes, the two of them reminded you more of sisters than mother and child.
There was a pause. You saw the look on your daughter’s face and realised she was trying to prepare herself for her next words. You cringed in anticipation.
‘I know you had blue hair.’ Your daughter accused Natasha abruptly.
The air left the room as you both froze. Your eyes scanned Natasha’s immediately. You hadn’t known that, but you could tell immediately that it was true. Natasha blinked back her obvious shock. You resisted putting an arm around her shoulders. You didn’t want to take sides, but you felt the ache of Natasha’s past like an old wound.
‘I saw the pictures.’ Your daughter added, her arms moving to cross themselves, just like Natasha’s.
An acutely vulnerable and threatened look crossed Natasha’s features. Her eyes were unseeing as more emotions rolled through her. You tensed nervously. She looked murderous. A line had been crossed.
‘Those pictures are private.’ Natasha said in a low voice. A shiver ran down your spine at the sound. ‘You had no right - ’.
‘I’m your kid.’ Your daughter interrupted, her voice rising higher with hysteria. She blinked away her tears angrily.
‘Where are those pictures now?’ Natasha’s voice stayed a growl. You found yourself stepping forward. It was too late to keep the peace, but you felt the situation slipping closer to words that couldn’t be unsaid.
Your hand brushed your daughter’s shoulder.
‘Hey.’ You called calmly and your daughter’s eyes flickered warily up to you. ‘We can talk about dyeing your hair later. Get your mom’s pictures.’
‘No.’
Your jaw clenched in frustration, you took a deep breath. You felt the oncoming explosion, you didn’t know if you could stop it.
You felt Natasha seethe obviously. You loved her well enough to sense how hard she was working to stay cool. You didn’t know the context of the pictures, you were certain of their importance to her.
‘Give them back to me.’ Natasha said one more time, and you knew it was the last warning.
‘I get to have some pieces of you.’ Your daughter declared suddenly. Her voice was wavering obviously, the angry tears still stained her cheeks.
‘You don’t get to have that piece.’ Natasha shook her head fervently. ‘Give me back my fucking photos.’
‘Fuck you.’ Your daughter retaliated, and the words fell out her mouth like she’d been waiting to say it.
Something hardened in Natasha as the words landed, you watched her try and ignore it.
‘Pictures.’ You iterated again, firmly. Your voice stayed level. You knew the unbearable tension couldn’t release from Natasha until she had them back.
You didn’t realise there was more your daughter might say. Her fingers fumbled with the front zipper on her backpack, she rummaged inside and produced a single strip of photos. Your eyes clung to the produced glossy strip of paper as she threw it in the air and floated to the ground.
There were two girls in the pictures and your heart twisted in further understanding. You noted the bright blue hair that caught the eye easily.
Natasha snatched the photos so fast, they hadn’t even reached the ground. You should have anticipated her next move. Your daughter certainly didn’t. Natasha plucked out the box of hair dye from inside her open backpack in one smooth motion.
The outrage in your daughter’s face would have been comical if it didn’t make you so nervous.
‘Fuck you.’ She said again and this time the words came out in a desperately controlled voice. She’d pitched it lower and you wondered if she knew she was imitating her mother.
‘You never wanted me.’ She accused Natasha now, voice cracking. Tears started streaming down her face again as the deeper hurt was exposed.
‘We both know I’m not even yours. Now, you won’t even fucking let me look like you.’
Natasha sagged immediately with the weight of your daughter’s words. You saw the horror and shock weave through her furrowed brows. Her mouth fell open.
Your daughter didn’t see any of it.
She crumpled down to the ground in a motion that ached with familiarity. For a moment, you remembered those first moments of her learning to walk. The strongest part of that memory was Natasha’s smile when your daughter had chosen to stumble clumsily over to her.
You didn’t need to look at Natasha to know she’d felt the words like a sucker punch. You crouched down next to your daughter.
‘You are and have always been the best thing in both of our lives.’ You told her quietly. Your daughter didn’t stop crying. Her arms circled her knees.
Natasha moved closer, hesitancy laced her movements and you could feel the nerves emanating from her. This was everything she’d ever been scared of. You felt her anticipating more rejection from the person who could hurt her most. Your hand moved to brush the back of her nearest leg soothingly.
‘Your mom loves you completely.’ You said simply and your daughter’s chin tilted reluctantly towards you. She shook her head disbelievingly. You saw the deep insecurity and wished desperately to remove it.
‘I always thought I might have children.’ You continued carefully, trying to decide what you could share as you spoke. ‘But, for your Mom, that wasn’t even a dream she was allowed to have.’
Your daughter’s face twisted as she tried to process the words. Her eyes flickered uncertainly up at Natasha. You followed her gaze and caught Natasha’s ashy expression. She was still caught, waiting for more rejection.
‘Do you understand?’ You pressed softly, and your free hand reached out to your daughter’s knee. ‘You are better than she could have ever dreamed.’
You felt Natasha kneel down beside you too, she took the hand you’d had on her leg and held it in hers. Your fingers interlaced automatically and, when she squeezed it, you felt the cool of her wedding ring against your warm palm.
‘Not to mention, you are already so alike. It’s ridiculous.’ You added, letting your tone get lighter. Somehow, just having them sit closer to each other, reassured you.
Natasha outstretched her free hand, with the previous photos purposefully on display to your daughter.
‘You see that other girl?’ She murmured. Her eyes caught yours intermittently, seeking reassurances You squeezed her hand and gave her a careful smile.
Your daughter nodded, silent with the expectation that this was important.
‘She’s my family.’ Natasha stumbled. ‘Or the closest I ever had to it.’ She corrected embarrassedly. She took a shaky breath before continuing.
‘And, that’s why you’re named Yelena. After her.’
Yelena stared back at Natasha, surprise and curiosity entirely replacing her earlier hurt.
‘Where is she now?’ She asked immediately, her voice hoarse from crying.
‘I don’t know. But I love her. You remind me of her every day.’ Natasha answered simply.
I know I’m not your Mom, not biologically.’ Natasha’s eyes met yours and you saw a longing in them that you never wanted to see again.
‘But I want to be.’ She admitted softly.
Your daughter’s hand reached out for her mother’s. Things settled inside your heart, a heaviness lifted from the air.
‘Maybe.’ Yelena started, face filling with a small smile. ‘Maybe I could dye my hair red instead.’
Natasha regarded her with a new softness, the corner of her mouth twitched upwards too. They understood each other so much better than they thought.
You rolled your eyes as you got back to your feet, pulling the pair of them up along with you.
‘Just what I need. Double the trouble.’ You teased, barely able to keep a straight face as Natasha swatted at your arm halfheartedly.
Yelena grinned up at you. Her hand slipped out of yours as she moved to wrap her arms around Natasha’s waist. Her head buried against Natasha’s front. Your daughter was growing up, but she was still so young.
The tentative tenderness in Natasha’s answering hug was more precious than you could ever explain. Her hand slipped out of yours too as she moved to rub light circles on Yelena’s back.
‘I’m really sorry.’ Yelena mumbled.
‘I know.’ Natasha soothed and she pressed a kiss to her daughter’s hair.
Yelena moved back a little and you watched her head tilt up as she regarded Natasha. Natasha smiled familiarly back.
‘Whatever colour you want. I’ll help you dye it.’ Natasha promised her quietly. ‘But, you’re already my daughter. You always have been.'
‘I’m yours.’ Yelena affirmed as her rested back against her mother. Natasha’s lips brushed her hair as she held her tight against her.
The world had finally righted itself and you found yourself sighing in relief.

looking for emotional support even in trans spaces is hard. when i say "im dysphoric because of too masc AND too fem aspects of my body, i want to be more androgynous" people ALWAYS START WITH "you know you don't have to be androgynous if you're nb! it is a stereotype!"
uh-hm, right, so if i'm "stereotypical", then i don't exist, cool.
i like to see more recognition of transneutral people. without always telling "but you don't have to!"
(i know in some context it's important to say this, so nb people would explore their masc/fem aspects too, and find the comfortable look without being pressured about androgyny)
but gods i hate this. i WANT to be androgynous. i feel COMFORTABLE in being androgynous. i WANT to hear reassurances in my androgynous look. i WANT people compliment my androgyny. i WANT to be recognized. i WANT people to take me seriously.
this is exorsexism.
to be honest, i think the increasing dismissal of androgyny in nonbinary people is just another way to reinforce binary(-adjacent) expectations. there are so many other ways of saying that nonbinary doesn't have a look that don't single out a specific group. like that, for example.

People (not op or prevs) seriously underestimate the intelligence of animals. I talk to my dog and cats a lot, and now they understand tons of sentences.
If I tell my cat “we’re gonna go outside but you’ve got to wait,” then he will sit patiently, watching me while I do whatever and get ready. He waits until I grab his harness.
Also, he listens to the conversations between me, my partner and/or roommates. If he hears his name in a sentence, his ears perk up. If he thinks we’re criticizing him, he slumps down until he understands the context of the conversation. I’m sure there’s a lot of shit that he doesn’t understand. But it’s sometimes uncanny how he acts and how he obviously understands.
Sometimes I see people act like shit or talk shit about their pets, and you can tell the pet understands. Just because they don’t speak, doesn’t mean they aren’t intelligent. They have wants, needs, things they love/hate etc. They’re sentient beings. We just don’t treat them like it.

#ASS OR BOOBS PT |
characters | kinji hakari , hajime kashimo , suguru geto , takuma ino , toji fushiguro.
sexual context (fem, reader) - part two here.
—————————————————————————
KINJI HAKARI - he chuckled, an amused smile tugging at his lips. he ran a hand through his pinkish and purple tones barrel twist, a nonchalant gesture, before responding.
"can't a man prefer both?" he quipped, a hint of mischief in his eyes.
*its not confirmed that hakari had purple hair or barrel twist i just like to think of him that way but if you don't like it just ignored it.*
you automatically rolled your eyes you should've known he was going to say that.
" noo you gotta pick one kinji...!" you whine forcing him to pick one. hakari chuckled at your insistence but played along, clearly enjoying the little game.
" hmm... if i have to pick one,." he relented, pretending to weigh his answer.
"i'd say ass, definitely. the curve, the bounce... you get me?" a smirk played on his lips as he leaned slightly closer, his voice dropping lower.
—————————————————————————
HAJIME KASHIMO - " kashimo, are you a boobs guy or an ass guy..?"
" what's with the sudden weird question?" he looks at you with a frown and his arms are folded across his chest. he doesn't seem to be in a good mood, as usual, and it looks like he just returned home.
" just pick one." you huffed rolling your eyes.
" boobs, if i have to choose." he lets out a sigh before replying as he gets a headache from your weird question.
" and whyyy..?"
" because i like the way they look. why are you always asking such weird questions..." he gets annoyed by the constant questions and replies more bluntly with his normal grumpy tone.
*Imfaoo i do believe this man does have a short temper after a long day.*
—————————————————————————
SUGURU GETO - " hey suguru, are you an ass guy or a boobs guy.?"
he was clearly caught off guard by the question as he slightly paused. he didn't expect you to be this forward he then smiles and gives you one good look up-and look down before tilting his head.
" depends on the girl.."
" anddd...? what does that mean..?" you asked curiously.
" it means i like both." he takes a good look at you. he takes in the outfit you were wearing as his sharp purple eyes slowly scans over your figure before they slowly move up to meet your eyes. he lets out a low chuckle, his smirk growing wilder.
—————————————————————————
TAKUMA INO - " ino do you like boobs or ass better..?"
ino's face turned beat red from embarrassment and surprise from the sudden question
"w-what?! why are you asking me that all of a sudden??"
you laugh quietly from his reaction " ino.. chill it's just a question... just answer the question."
" b-boobs i guess..." ino's face was still blushed bright red, trying to come back from the sudden embarrassment.

TOJI FUSHIGURO - " toji are you a boob guy or an ass guy.?"
" that's a very random question..." he replies and looks at you up and down.
" so..? just pick one.."
" if you want an honest answer i prefer the ass." he just gives you a glance before looking away.
" really why.?"
" because there is so much you can do with it and it looks good i have to admit i look at yours almost every day because i like it that much." he puts an arm around your waist.

I AM SO SICK OF POP CULTURE BS MODERN ASTROLOGY , LORD FREE ME FROM THE SHACKLES OF HAVING TO READ THESE SELF ASSURED MODERN TAKES.
If I have to see one more comment or post relying on the ABC house system or modern rulerships I'm gonna crash out fr. What a tragically bastardised ancient art astrology has become.
If you really want to understand and appreciate astrology, you must understand it's context and the richer symbolic meanings behind its foundations (e.g. thema mundi, trad rulership and by extension reevaluating your understanding of the planets and signs, dignities, whole signs, Egyptian terms, chaldean decans, lots etc). This is especially vital for predictive work e.g electional and horary astrology.
Not everything modern is bad, i use many modern things myself. But better discernment is needed in order to separate misinformation and deep misunderstanding from something that is genuinely pertinent, and learning traditional (e.g. hellenistic astrology) can help with this. You have to let go of overly subjective interpretations from 'working backwards on a chart analysis and seeking confirmation bias , and you have to let go of default modern premises which you probably never questioned. Trust me, I learnt the hard way. There are a few things which I didn't agree with in hellenistic astro when I first started just because I couldn't relate it to myself or others...rookie error fr💀🤡🤡
Nothing is more freeing than taking the long and initially confusing plunge into the "scary complex" og astrology that is traditional astrology. Especially when you're trying to unlearn so much bs which you dont even think is bs at first. But it is so worth it. Once you properly understand the foundations of it , it becomes so much clearer to see the implications of these nonsense modern takes.
I've been super busy lately and suffering from my lack of executive function so I haven't written as many posts as I'd have liked to yet. But more will come eventually🤞. In the meantime, some extremely helpful resources to get started:
- Chris Brennan / The Astrology Podcast (his books are also good apparently)
- On The Heavenly Spheres: A Treaty on Traditional Astrology by Helena Avelar & Luis Ribeiro (pdf of this is easy to find online. Very solid primer into trad astro)
- Astrology and the Authentic Self , and Ancient Astrology in Theory and Practice , both by Demetra George
- Sevenstarsastrology.com - an absolutely fantastic blog writer who deep dives into plenty of traditional topics. E.g. 12th parts , antiscia , arabic lots, and some more basic things too. Long articles/lessons but extremely extremely informative. Genuine goldmine.
- Patrick Watson, he alao writes some brilliant articles too. His article on the ABC house system was especially useful in getting me out those trenches.
- @/illuminiah , @/0degreestaurus, @/ellieremotigue, @/saturnandhoney, @/ilanastrology, @/bloodyjupiter_ are all just a few tiktok accounts off the top of my head which have been very helpful in helping me unlearn modern shit.
- Nightlightastrology on Youtube / Adam Elenbaas
- Lee Lehman is especially good for horary and electional according to my horary-specialised friends
- Robert Hand
- u_StellaGraphia on reddit posts some amazing explanations (in comment sections usually) , really helpful stuff
- stop reading costar, cafe astrology, astroseek, etc interpretations :)

I reread "Check, Please!" this afternoon. One of my favorite moments (SPOILERS) is the aftermath of Jack and Bitty's on-ice kiss on live television, when Jack is talking to his parents about the public reveal that's just happened. They're like, "Oh??? That's a big step isn't it???" And Jack is so smiling high on cup victory and love that he's like, "Yeah. Who cares, though?" And Jack's parents look like they're bluescreening, he just fucking broke them, because what happened??? To their anxious child who had a mental breakdown and overdose??? He's all relaxed and happy and chill now! Wow.
And there's obviously a lot of things contributing to this character development / mental health stability for Jack. He's older. He's been through both college and rehab. He's got a lot of support in good friends, a great boyfriend, loving parents, friendly teammates, and a supportive employer. This is a happy choice that he made on his own terms. And so on and so forth.
But on a more humorous note, I also think part of this newfound chillness must come from the fact that his good, supportive friends are all loud and proud weirdos. Shitty Knight does something wild every 24 hours, possibly on purpose but also possibly a genuine fuckup, that would have had Jack curling up under a rock out of embarrassment for life, then Shitty just walks it off. No big deal, brah. And if it's not Shitty, then Lardo or Ransom or Holster have got Jack's back in terms of nonstop sheer hot, shameless mess and friendship. It puts a lot of things into context.
Freshman Shitty: "Heeeey, man, my new best friend, nice to meet you, thanks for getting me off that roof and also lending me your jacket! Not that I've got anything to be ashamed of, nudity is our natural state of being, but, y'know, don't super want to start the first day off getting arrested for streaking while trying to get to my Gender Studies class on time. Uncomfortable and uncool. Want to get brunch? My breakfast was half of a cheap beer and a packet of sour gummy worms, which while delish, my man, does not do good things to my stomach or my brain health when I'm trying to do the good thinking stuff. Speaking of, dude, excuse me a mo', I think I need to puke into this trash can here. Don't want to litter or anything."
Freshman Jack, holding Shitty's backpack while this stranger pukes politely into a campus trash can: (internally) "I think this is curing my anxiety somehow."
#it's like watching dropout's “dirty laundry” show; what the hell could I ever do to compete with this nonsense#tossawary omgcp#jack zimmermann#shitty knight#spoilers

i see, it seems i had misread it since i confused the subject of the sentence? (if that makes sense? sorry, english isn't my first language) so it felt more like 'dont be a bitch and just tell them what you feel', which kinda continued the paragraph prior to it that mentioned telling your friends about how you feel. it's what i was addressing basically.
with your addition, i didn't read it as oneself's life experience but as a 'btw, this situation means that you could be this!' which could also stem from me not understanding the context. i do apologize for making you feel that i'm attacking your pov or life experience, i simply was trying to show that this seemed like a very limited world view. i didn't realize it was supposed to come as across as one world view meant to be taken as one option.
the issue i had wasn't when friends are busy and have lives that simply get in the way, which is very normal and i mentioned that as well, but rather that they never tried to reach out first or even try to check on the sole instigator when things grow quieter. like if after a month, you notice you haven't heard from them and send a message asking if they're alright, that's good! but if you notice and simply dismiss it or just don't notice at all? that's where the issue i addressed exists.
i'm glad your friend group makes sure to tell you that they appreciate your efforts, and that you find joy in being the instigator. and it's truly relieving to hear that this is your reality.
but also it's important to take note that many (not all) sole instigators didn't become instigators because they wanted to, but because they were the only ones who noticed the need or were forced into the role. and most of the time, it's not so easy to simply move away from that group and find other friends. my approach is also only one option and a very hard mindset to achieve. but i do believe it's one that would be a good mindset for those that were forced into the sole instigator role.
thank you for your further explanation
every now and then the internet decides it should revamp the ole “stop texting first and see how many friends you lose” when in reality you could literally just communicate that u feel bad that ur the only one texting first

How do you feel about aromantic idia
As a headcanon? I love (jokingly) bullying Idia for being a socially awkward and sexually repressed otaku, but personally I also like the idea of him being aromantic. He doesn't like attention focused on him and generally seems to prefer fictional characters (ie his waifus/j) to interacting with real people. However, I think it goes deeper than just that. There's many lines in his Suitor Suit card that hint at Idia being repulsed by romance (even if you remove the context of him being kidnapped and forced to wed a ghost):
"There's no reasoning with people who lose their minds over every little infatuation. Like, just keep your head down and focus on school!" (He prioritizes other things, such as school and dismisses things like crushes.)
"I could never swear my eternal love. There's no such thing, and I'm nothing if not honest." (Here, he denies the existence of "eternal love".)
"Love is just chemicals in your brain. And people call that fate? They're all nuts, if you ask me." (He describes the feeling of love in a cold, scientific manner when this isn't something most people would think that deeply about.)
"Don't leave me. Stay with me forever. ...Oof, these emo lines are killing me. I'm gonna steer clear of proposals for the rest of my life." (He makes fun of typical romantic lines and then outright states he doesn't ever want to propose to anyone.)
"Do whatever you want with me. Just get it over with!" (Idia conveys distress and wanting to quickly be done with the kiss/general romantic circumstances.)
"If you want to talk romance, I'm your guy. I'm familiar with all the popular fan ships in video games and manga. You might even call me an expert." (He diverts the topic of real-life romances to his hobbies; aromantics, contrary to popular belief, can still enjoy romantic media without being attracted to or having limited attraction to real people themselves.)
Beyond his Suitor Suit lines, Idia has expressed upset at romantic love being viewed differently than platonic love. In 6-76, during his post-OB flashback, Idia shows off Ortho to Styx researchers, who are appalled by what he has done. "Wait... You built your late brother?! But that's wrong, Mr. Shroud!" they tell him. To that, Idia says, "So it's romantic when a hero rescues his ladylove from the Underworld, but when I do the same for my brother it's wrong?" He's frustrated that the story about Hercules diving into the Underworld to save Megara is praised, but him going that same extreme distance to revive his loved one--an act of platonic love--is denounced.
Idia is also consistently a character that has been shown to enjoy optimization and efficiency. He doesn't like anything that overcomplicates what can easily be done or made easier by machines. For someone like him, who was raised in isolation and has to bear the guilt of potentially dooming a future partner to the Shroud family curse, I think he'd just say "fuck it" at some point and decide it's ultimately not worth that hassle. It could read like a justification for him if others ask why he never looked into finding a spouse, S/O, etc. Like he'd tell them it isn't worth his time or something to get them off his back.
Of course, this is just my personal headcanon and you're free to agree or disagree with me on it! (I support all you Idia yumes and shippers out there 😉) Let's remember that we're all here to have fun and to not take these things too seriously.

The thing about Act 1 of season 2 is that, while in context with the rest of s2 it was bad, they actually did set up a good story and continued season 1 pretty amazingly.
There were still some problems but genuinely most of those problems stem from the rest of the Episodes not delivering and not on the first 3 setting stuff up.
Act 1 giving us the tree being sick? Really good idea, perfect set up even the connection between the hextech and it being sick? Nice as fuck. It's what they did with it (nothing) and how it didn't matter (at all) that destroys Act 1.
Caitlyn's set up was absolutely not bad, and a lot of people were praising it. It made sense for her character and it also didn't seem like they thought she was right. Not with all the other episodes after Act 1, though. Contrary to populer believe I like morally not so good (evil) characters if they make sense. Caitlyns narrative was promising to be interesting they just didn't do anything with it and acted like what she did in Act 1 was fine and excusable and alright. It wasn't. Had they actually done something with what they set up with her, well I wouldn't be standing here now.
They also promised this season being a Vi focused season and while I would say that Act 1 did actually give us a lot of Vi, in context with the other Acts... no. In hindsight there was no need to make her an Enforcer. "But the lore-" I'm gonna stop you right there, they also completely changed Viktors lore, and even Jinx' lore. So?
CaitVi was also something that, in Act 1, I was way more ready to get behind. I was a CaitVi shipper in season 1, I did like their dynamic and wanted it explored. I liked their kiss. I did not like what they did after that. Not Caitlyn hitting Vi and then getting to hit her again and never apologizing. I am a lesbian and here I am telling you: Everything that happened with them was weird.
Act 1 also gave us this genuine good found family between Isha, Sevika and Jinx. It was so moving and well done even in such short of a time (there is still stuff to criticize about it but the consensus is that it is awesome so yk I can overlook certain stuff). And then they turned around and wrote Sevika completely out of the story and killed the plot device that was Isha. When Isha should have mattered.
I didn't even originally dislike how many new characters they introduced because season 1 once mastered characters like this. Maddie seemed promising, until she wasn't. Loris seemed interesting and well thought out until he wasn't. Lest was such a good addition until she was just written out of the show completely. Don't even get me started on Steb.
Ambessas ploy in Act 1 was also something that I genuinely liked. Even Mel figuring out a mystery was good. Until they decided "well that doesn't matter anymore".
In Act 1 I did actually like the subtleties. I liked how Caitlyn saw the Violets and how, in episode 3 of s2 she saw one through her rifles lense (I have no idea what that is called, sue me haha) floating over Jinx. Because it was a nice add on and nothing that would destroy your viewing experience if not noticed, and it wasn't on the nose.
While a lot of directions they took, I was already questioning (the Smeech stuff took up way too much time) I was ready to give that a pass because it didn't destroy anything, yet.
Up until episode 4, it all seemed well enough, and while the prison scene also made me question stuff (that god damn Enforcer pants joke oh my god I will never let that go what was that) it wasn't anything too bad, yet.
The reason Act 1 doesn't work now is because of Act 2 and Act 3. Had Act 1 stood alone or had Act 2 and Act 3 delivered on Act 1, we wouldn't have that much of a problem. As it is the further Acts destroy what Act 1 seemed to carefully build up.
In the end what seemed purposefully and artistically done in Act 1 now seems like something the writers actually believe.

i do find it a bit funny when furries talk about how furry art is literally divine and not like anything else on earth and you're basically a revolutionary for being a furry. guys please. everything is literally just normal. the beautiful thing about furry art is that it can literally be anything and has endless range. the bigger problem is that people generally don't want to take furry art seriously in any context. but people taking things too weirdly seriously are also an issue... like when people talk about how 'furry art can't be xyz because furries are so unique minded and dope and whatever the fuck'. like no. furry art Never is just one thing. yes even that thing you don't like and get nothing from and think is lame and not in the 'spirit' of furry art still is furry art. in my humble opinion.
i mean yeah. different people have widely different definitions of what Furry Art is. but it does make me feel weird when people say 'this isn't furry art because it's not what I think furry art is'. and im not talking about furry haters btw though they are guilty of this too. furries themselves do this and are sometimes on this weird furry art crusade. Caalm down. Everything is literally normal.
#AND don't take me wrong#i dont mean this in the 'its not that deep' way#it is that deep. sometimes. and sometimes it isnt#you cant just say furry art is this deep philosophical artful meaningful thing ALL OF THE TIME#and thus decide that the art that you personally don't like and don't see as 'deep' isnt furry art#or isnt what 'furry art' is#what does Nothing for you and hell even for the wider majority of people can still be meaningful to others#so like#trying to create examples of what 'furry art' isnt is just#telling someone who is a furry and does art like that#that their art is not welcome
