I have once again fallen into a trap of my own making*

*making the future children of DND characters that will not be making an appearance in the campaign until prob the last session (if at all)

#Eli Speaks #Nerisya and Luz babiesssss #so far we (Nerisya's player and I) have come up with 2 kids: one adopted one bio #we agreed they prob wouldnt have kids for a while and arent sure for a bit if they want kids or not #but then something big happens in the world and they end up fostering a kid who was orphaned and just fall in love with them #dont have a name for that kiddo yet but theyre a lil dragonborn #after realizing they loved being parents they decide to have a bio kid too a few years after adopting #that lil cutie's name is #Zaema #and i may or may not have already drawn her lol #i barely know these kiddos and i already love them #i never wanna have kids of my own but i just want all my dnd buddies to settle down and have happy lives with their families #and this may or may not have gotten me thinking about some old ideas #and the idea of possibly getting to play out the end of a character's story (in a minor way) with having them show up as a NPC #so yeah im drawing Saube and (some of) her kids like 10 years later lol #look i know its incredibly self indulgent but i also thought of a plot reason for this sooooo #and im the dm i can do what i want lmao #(but it does also fit well into some PC backstory stuff so!)

tumbling the AU verse in my head and thinking about percy and them possibly becoming a gleaner like hector was but their assignments are hunting down relics to store away in sharlayan, a dangerous job for anyone else but percy has the wanderlust gene like their parents... they could be a final fantasy lara croft

(DND AU where it's just these two, Brent, and Paul on a life mission to annoy Chris the GM by having the pact of "we're only here for Karen's benefit")

Karen is a warlock, Right is a cleric, Paul is a paladin, and Brent is a bard (so he can use bardic inspiration on Karen).

#my characters #fun fact i was watching a trio of streamers do tier lists and i saw them do a tier list about their streamer friends #and they all voted on how the person would die in dnd and the funniest thing to come out of it imo #was the difference of SELF SACRIFICE and under it FORCIBLY SACRIFICED #like who would take one for the team willingly and who would be disposed of with majority vote #then they added an executed for their crimes spot under that so while they were debating some guy they settled on #he was the one that initiated most of the forcibly sacrificed ideas and that means he was eventually executed for his crimes #which ... was really funny to distinguish #the point is thats karen in this non existent campaign #she is here to mess people up and then use her allies as scape goats and they all just go well that sucks peace out im on the chopping bloc #and chris is getting more and more distressed over the fact YOU GUYS CAN LITERALLY TALK YOUR WAY OUT OF IT #but they really dont talk their way out of it like he wants #they instead are like ok cool so im gonna pretend like i didnt see karen kill that guy #and shes like i mean it was an accident i didnt MEAN to kill THAT guy #which is why they all vote to not see it and not bring it up RIP that guy #i saved this canvas as A WARLOCK AND HER CLERIC #which is honestly fitting #anyway i wanna draw fanart again at some point but my joy is stored in the ocs rn #i dont play dnd i just listen to one person talk to me about dnd and thats enough #oops i fell in love

in general im okay with a lot of things regarding my ocs as long as u remain aware they are My characters & i have the end say on what's canon with them. but yeah if u wanna draw them or write something about them or have them hang out with ur ocs or whatever im not stopping u

#i dont think anyone actually wants to at the current moment but if u wanted to do r18 with them thats also fine #theyre just toys i play with in my sandbox we can share we can do whatever we want with them #i havent rp'd since i was like 12 but i suppose i could if someone really wanted to #this would be easier if i actually made content with them #rest assured im working hard on that. i want to give them all their own voca songs at some point #but i want to get more comfortable with music first #and also choosing a character voice in a foreign language is a slightly difficult task but we'll get there #esp as i meet more people and make more friends & read more things.#makes it easier to be like yeah they would act like this in a casual setting & have this speech quirk etc #like in eng the cats have a slightly formal tone & call each other dear even though theyre SUPER close with each other #& i havent quite decided how to carry that over. as fun as changing syllables in words to Nya is idk if it fits their vibes #likewise what extent of politeness do they use. bc they do it for fun to amuse themselves.#i dont think they would actually constantly use keigo with each other #now if they specifically used WRITTEN formal language with each other that might work #but if its Just Them in the story it looks like i dont understand jpn rather than it being a character quirk #but if everyone else is speaking normally or casually and they alone are using formal usually written-only language #then thats a character trait. what was i talking about.#oh yeah go ham with my ocs if u wanna u have my blessing please show me when ur done. regardless of content #i wanna SEE #if u want to know anything in particular too dont be afraid to ask either
