I went through a phase of watching the wildest fanvideos I could find of any and every ship and there's several that still live in my mind rent free, but #1 will always be a smallville one I found where lex luthor & clark kent get together after clark is stabbed by a unicorn w a kryptonite horn. then they get married and clark gets pregnant but then he dies while giving birth (to a kitten). the kitten then grows up and is adopted by bruce wayne.
and this is all set to i swear by all-4-one
fandom just doesn't do this anymore and we can should and must bring this back

that guy ⊹ steve harrington
summary: After he's been to yet another failed date with yet another random pretty girl, Steve Harrington, your best friend, stops by at the diner your family owns for a late-night chat, same as he'd done a thousand times before. Steve is totally unaware of how much he's hurting you with his endless parade of dates, because after all — the two of you are only friends and nothing more, right? It's not like you have any secret feelings for him… | 2.6k words
── ࣪˖ ࣪ ⊹ ࣪ ˖ ──
The moment Steve steps through the glass doors of the diner, you wonder, for about the millionth time that month alone, what is it that you've done so wrong to deserve this kind of punishment.
It's Friday night, and on Friday nights, Steve Harrington goes on dates. It's just like clockwork, really: he meets a pretty girl, thinks she's the one, takes her out on a date, realizes quickly enough that she isn't quite what he was looking for, then comes here after having dropped her back home to sulk with you, in the diner that your family runs, still clad in the outfit he'd chosen especially for his failed date.
To be honest, he never looks sad, per se — more like disappointed. Frustrated, maybe.
You watch as he weaves around tables occupied by laughing friends, past booths filled with couples sharing desserts, then slides into a seat in front of you at the bar. Steve sits down with an exhausted sigh, ruffling up his hair before shooting you a tired smile.
"Hi."
You don't look up from where you're polishing the counter. "Bad date again?"
"Not even close. She talked about horses non-stop."
A quiet laugh slips past your lips despite yourself, and finally, you tear your gaze off the dark wooden surface of the counter to look up at him; he's got this pleased little smile on his face, the corners of his eyes crinkled ever so slightly in the way they always do whenever he succeeds at making you laugh, even if just a little.
How are you supposed to keep acting like nothing's wrong when he looks at you like that?
You clear your throat awkwardly and make yourself busy stacking clean glasses next to the coffee machine.
"So...not the one, I take it?"
Steve leans forward against the counter and props his head up with his hand, sighing deeply.
"I'm starting to think she won't ever show up," he says quietly, running his other hand through his hair. You chance another glance at him and note how genuinely worried he looks. It breaks your heart almost as much as it annoys you. "What is it that's wrong with me, huh? I just don't get it."
"Nothing is wrong with you."
"You don't need to be nice to me. We've been friends since forever, remember?"
The word 'friends' makes you wince a little bit inside, but you hide the reaction behind a neutral frown. "Do you think there's something wrong with me? Because I haven't found the one yet either, you know."
Steve's expression softens as he looks at you, and once again you feel that horrible twinge in your stomach that you wish would just stop already.
"It's different. I mean—you're not actively trying to find someone." He reaches out to pull one of the half-melted mints out from the glass bowl on the counter and pops it into his mouth with a shrug. "I go out looking for her and she just doesn't come. If she even exists, that is."
"She does."
"Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, but I wouldn't hold my breath. God, why am I such an idiot, y'know?" Steve slumps over the counter with a groan, burying his face into his crossed arms. "My love life is a trainwreck."
"At least you have one."
He glances up at you curiously and lifts an eyebrow. "What does that mean?"
"Nothing. Forget it. Do you want some pie?"
You're not about to tell him what you've only admitted to yourself mere months ago — that you're actually hopelessly, madly, stupidly in love with him, and that you have been ever since the two of you were just dumb kids racing around your parents' diner.
What makes it even worse is that you had no idea your feelings went that deep until Steve started going on these dates of his again. Before then, everything was normal — you met up every weekend and binged on candy, watched bad movies on your couch, drove around town together blasting The Clash on his BMW's speakers...it was good.
Until it wasn't.
"Wait, c'mon, you can't just leave me hanging like that," Steve presses. He shifts a little on his stool to better face you, then gestures at you with his hands. "You've clearly got something you wanna say, so, like—hit me. Lay it on me."
"Nothing. I'm just saying...at least you're trying, you know," you say carefully, measuring each word before speaking them. "And at least you're the one doing the rejecting. Could be worse."
Steve's eyebrows rise high up on his forehead and he looks at you incredulously. "Whoa, wait—are you trying to tell me you've been rejected?"
You busy yourself by filling two tall glasses with soda, then slide one to his side of the counter and keep the other for yourself. "Uh...kind of, yeah. But it's fine."
"But who the hell would even do that?" he blurts out. There's anger in his voice all of a sudden, a defensive fire in his eyes that makes you feel as if someone has punched you in the gut. "To you? You're like, the nicest person on the planet, and super pretty to boot. That's just—that's crazy!"
Your heart gives a violent little jump in your chest. He thinks you're pretty. Steve Harrington thinks you're pretty.
Pretty as a friend, you correct yourself immediately, and sigh as you sip your drink. Of course, it's nothing more than that — just meaningless words spoken in a moment of unthinking kindness.
"Seriously, who?" he presses on. "Give me a name. I'll fight him."
"You mean like you fought Jonathan Byers?" you smile behind your glass, looking at him from over its rim.
Steve looks embarrassed at the memory and drops his gaze for a second or two before meeting your eyes again with a playful little smile of his own. "Different situation, okay, but that's not the point. So? Who's the guy?"
"You...don't know him," you hedge.
"It's Hawkins. I know the stray cats here by name."
"Fine, well, even if you did know him, it doesn't matter. He didn't reject me, exactly...not really."
Steve frowns a little. "Okay, you're gonna have to start making sense now. This is hurting my head."
The funny thing is, he actually looks confused, as if he can't possibly fathom the idea of someone rejecting you. It's sweet, really — way too sweet for your liking, especially when you know fully well he doesn't see you in the way you'd want him to.
You lower your gaze to avoid his and instead focus on drawing random shapes on the counter with your index finger, where tiny droplets of condensation from your glass have pooled up on the dark wood. "I mean, I never really told him how I felt. Not directly. It just…never happened."
"Oh. Well, then how do you even know if he feels the same way?" he asks you, looking rather doubtful.
You steal another glance at him and almost regret it instantly. His eyes are trained on your face, patient and attentive like you're the only thing worth watching in the world. It makes you feel horribly small and selfish and guilty, because after all, what right do you have to want him when he so clearly wants someone else?
You feel like you could cry. You might, if you don't distract yourself with something fast enough.
"I just know. Do you want some pie? I'll go get you some pie."
Without waiting for a response, you rush off to the kitchen even though there's plenty of pies sitting on the display counter at the bar, and you make a beeline straight for the back exit.
The alley behind the diner is blissfully empty as usual, just a lonely dumpster and a handful of sad-looking shrubs and weeds peeking out from under the concrete.
No, you aren't going to cry.
This is stupid.
You press your back against the rough brick wall of the diner and breathe in deep the warm night air, then exhale slowly as you count to ten in your head.
When the door opens behind you and the diner's familiar chatter and clatter of cutlery spill into the alley, you wince, mentally cursing yourself for being so goddamn weak. You should have known better.
You don't have to look up to know that it's him.
"Are you hiding from me?" Steve's voice comes, quiet and curious and maybe just a little bit hurt, even.
"I got...suddenly nauseous," you explain weakly, still refusing to look up and meet his eyes.
There's a long stretch of silence, and you feel Steve move closer to you until he's leaning against the wall by your side. You finally look up and find him smiling, this gentle, amused little thing that makes your traitorous heart skip a beat.
"You look just fine to me."
You stare up at the sky, head against the wall. "I thought I was gonna throw up."
He's still watching you, you can tell; you're keenly aware of his eyes on you, so much so that your skin prickles at the attention. "No, you didn't."
"No, I didn't," you admit with a sigh, and turn your head to finally look at him. He's got this little half-smile on his lips, the very same one you fell for years ago, and you curse yourself silently for never learning how to let him go. Really let him go.
"Hey. Listen. You don't have to tell me, okay?" Steve says gently, pushing himself off the wall to step closer to you. He brings his hand up to your face and tucks a loose lock of hair behind your ear, letting his fingertips linger on the edge of your jaw for the briefest of moments, just long enough for you to wonder whether he knows what he's doing to you.
You don't dare to move. You're afraid of breaking whatever spell has seemingly come over him.
"I should've never asked. That was selfish."
"Forget it," you say.
He's standing close now, close enough that you have to tilt your chin up to be able to look up at him properly. There's a strange kind of tension in his eyes, something dark and unsure and tentative, and his gaze darts down to your lips just the slightest bit.
You're fairly sure you're just seeing what you want to see, your foolish heart playing tricks on you. But you panic nonetheless, feeling a sudden, irrational fear that if he moves any closer, he'll realize the truth — that you're a liar and a coward, that you've been harboring these feelings of yours for him for years.
"I should—I should go. Back inside," you mutter, pointing vaguely at the door with your thumb. "In there."
"Sure, yeah. Okay. In there," he echoes, not making a single move to leave. "Not out here."
"Yup. Exactly. In there."
"So you said."
"Yep."
The wall of the diner is digging into your spine uncomfortably, and your mouth is dry, and your knees feel weak, and your stomach is doing somersaults, and the longer he stares at you with those eyes of his the more you feel like you're burning from the inside out and—
He's not moving. All he does is look at you, really look at you, as if it's the first time he's really looked, as if he's seeing something that wasn't there before.
"Okay, so—"
You try to push past him towards the door, but Steve grabs your arm, making you stop dead in your tracks. He lets go as soon as you look up at him, lifting his hand in front of him in an apologetic gesture.
"Sorry. I'm sorry," he says. He swallows hard and rubs his palm on the front of his jeans, a nervous little habit you think he's always had. He runs his hand through his hair, mussing up the carefully gelled strands, and it's probably the first time you've ever seen him look so flustered.
He laughs nervously and gestures at the ground with his hands as he speaks. "Look, this is just—this is just crazy, okay, but I think I, uh, maybe sort of realized something."
You blink at him, not quite certain you're hearing him correctly.
"Realized what?" you ask, the words barely more than a whisper.
Steve clears his throat and nods at you, seemingly pleased that you've finally spoken. "Yeah, well, this is stupid, but you know how you're always telling me to listen to my gut?"
"You're not making a whole lot of sense right now, Steve."
"Just bear with me for a sec, okay? This is like, totally new to me." He holds his palms up, and you notice his hands are shaking a little. "I just need a minute, alright?"
He breathes in deep and exhales slowly, then shoots you an apologetic look.
"Sorry, this is just...really weird," he confesses. "Weirdly real."
"You're freaking me out," you tell him, but Steve only smiles at you.
"Maybe I should just show you. Because, I mean, what if I'm wrong? That'd be terrible, obviously."
"Steve."
"Yeah, I know, but hear me out, okay?" he says quickly, and takes another step closer. You stand your ground this time, if only because you don't trust yourself to actually move without your legs giving out. "So, look. Here's the thing. You're, like—you're one of the most important people in my life. You've been there for me when nobody else was, and I...you mean a lot to me."
"Steve—"
"Shut up, you're ruining the moment."
He takes another step forward until he's crowding you against the wall, hand coming to rest next to your head on the brick. He's close, so close that you can smell the scent of his cologne and shampoo and laundry detergent, and if you were to lean in even the slightest bit, your faces would bump.
Steve is a little out of breath, his lips parted ever so slightly. And he's still looking at you with that strange, searching expression of his.
"Is this okay?" he whispers.
"I don't—what?"
Your voice catches in your throat. There's no room for doubt in his eyes now, not even the tiniest, slightest sliver of uncertainty left.
"This," Steve murmurs.
He tilts his head to the side a little and leans in until you're sure your noses are touching, and you feel your eyes slip closed in anticipation.
"Is this okay?" he repeats in a whisper. "Please tell me I'm not crazy."
"I think I am."
His lips brush yours. It feels like an accident, doesn't last long enough to be anything but a dream. You can still taste the faint, sweet trace of sugar and mint on your tongue when he pulls away, though.
"Just to be clear," Steve whispers, his fingers brushing lightly over the skin of your neck, tracing invisible lines that make you shiver, "am I the guy from earlier? The one you like?"
You don't have it in you to deny it anymore.
"Yes. It's you."
A wide grin breaks out across his face, and suddenly he's everywhere; he cups your face in his hands, pressing eager, fervent kisses along the line of your jaw, trailing hot and open-mouthed down the side of your neck.
You giggle helplessly, grabbing Steve by his collar to pull him away from you and up to your eye level. He's breathing just as heavily as you are, his hair messy and his eyes bright.
"How do you do this to me, huh?" he pants, kissing your forehead, the tip of your nose, the corner of your mouth. "You just—you just completely knock me out."
A pleasant little thrill rushes up your spine at that.
"Oh yeah?"
"Completely."
You kiss him this time.

Could you do fic for Toto Wolff with wife reader? Their son, Jack always wanted a pet but with them traveling the world for the races, it was not possible. But when Charles recently adopted Leo, Jack asks his mother to help him. Knowing Toto wouldn't say no to her. With "indistinguishable squeaky noises' when Jack got what he wanted all along. And "Aww! A PUPPY!". They both give Toto a very crushing hug. Just major fluff and cute. You decide how it goes. Thanks!! :))
Here you go! Enjoy reading it and I also add a small part of SMAU 🤭, well, since lots of you guys have been sending me texts telling me how much you like it! I read it all and I cherished each and every message. Love you all!
Tumblr media
Jack was on a mission. He had been begging his parents for a pet for months now, but with their busy lives full of Formula One travels, it was impossible. He knew his dad would probably say no, but his mom was a softie when it came to family, especially him. So he went to her with a pleading look in his eyes.
"Mama, can we get a puppy?"
She smiled at his eagerness, knowing that she would have to be the one to persuade Toto. She lowered down in front of her son, ruffling his hair playfully. "Sweetie, you know your dad has a lot on his plate with work, right?" Jack pouted, his shoulders slumping. "I know, but I really want a puppy! Please, Mama? Can't you talk to Papa?" he asked, his eyes wide and hopeful. She chuckled softly, unable to resist his adorable expression. "Alright, alright," she relented. "I'll talk to him."
Jack's face lit up with excitement, his eyes widening. "Really? You'll talk to Papa?"
His mother nodded, laughing softly. "Yes, I'll talk to him," she assured him. "But don't get your hopes too high, okay? Your Papa is a bit of a hardass." Jack's expression soured slightly at her words, but he quickly brightened. "But you'll convince him, right?"
She chuckled again, ruffling his hair once more. "I'll do my best."
Over the next few days, she thought about how to approach the topic with Toto. She knew he was a bit of a worrywart when it came to Jack's safety, and a puppy was a big responsibility.
Finally, one evening while they were having dinner together, she decided to bring it up. "Toto," she began, her tone casual.
Toto looked at her, his gaze curious. "Yes, Liebe?" he replied, taking a sip of his wine.
She took a deep breath, preparing herself for his response. "Jack has been asking me for a pet," she said, watching his reaction closely.
Toto raised an eyebrow, his expression immediately becoming wary. "A pet? Like a dog or a cat?" he asked, setting his glass back down on the table.
She shrugged lightly, trying to appear nonchalant. "I think he's set on a puppy," she replied, gauging his reaction.
Toto's expression darkened slightly, but he didn't immediately shut down the idea. "We travel constantly," he said, his tone pragmatic. "How exactly would we care for a puppy on the road?"
She had expected this argument, and she was ready with a counter-point. "I've been thinking about that," she said quickly. "We could hire a dog walker or a pet sitter whenever we can't be there."
Toto frowned, his expression unconvinced. "It's not just about the physical care," he countered. "What about training and socialization? A puppy takes time and effort to raise."
She bit her lower lip, realizing that his concerns were valid. "I know it won't be easy," she acknowledged, her tone earnest. "But Jack has been such a good kid, and he's wanted a pet for so long."
Toto sighed, his expression softening. "I know he has, but can't just adopt a puppy on a whim."
She nodded, understanding his point but not willing to give up just yet. "I'm not suggesting we adopt one right now," she reassured him. "But we could at least talk about it, right?"
Toto leaned back in his chair, considering her words. "Alright, I'll listen," he said finally. "But you need to convince me why this is a good idea."
She took another deep breath, thankful that he was at least willing to listen. "Having a puppy could be good for Jack's development," she began. "It would teach him responsibility, and he would have a companion to help him deal with the stress of our travels."
Toto raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "You think a puppy will help manage stress?" he asked, a hint of doubt in his voice.
"Having a puppy to play with and snuggle up with might make his time on the road a bit more bearable."
Toto considered her words, his expression slowly softening. "Alright, I'll give you that," he agreed reluctantly.
His resistance was starting to crumble, and she could see that she was slowly winning him over. "And don't forget," she added with a smirk, "puppies are incredibly cute. Just imagine how happy it would make Jack."
Toto rolled his eyes playfully, a small smile creeping onto his lips. "You're playing dirty, Liebe" he accused her.
She chuckled, loving the banter between them. "I'm just speaking the truth," she responded, her tone innocent. "A puppy would be a wonderful addition to our family."
Toto let out a small huff, a mixture of resignation and affection. "You're really not going to let this go, are you?" he asked, his expression resigned but fond.
She shook her head, a sly smile on her lips. "Not until we at least consider it," she said, leaning forward slightly.
Toto couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped his lips. "You're relentless," he said, his tone admiring rather than annoyed. "But you always know how to get what you want, don't you?"
She smirked, knowing she had won the argument. "It takes a special skill to handle a stubborn man like you," she teased, her voice flirty.
Toto rolled his eyes once more, his expression a mix of amusement and defeat. "You're lucky I love you," he said, a hint of laughter in his voice.
Throughout their conversation, their voices never rose above a quiet whisper, so as not to alert their son that they were discussing his request. Jack was currently upstairs in his room, presumably doing his homework or playing with his toys.
With a conspiratorial smile, she leaned in closer toward Toto. "Jack is already prepared for a puppy," she replied, giggling softly. "He's spent hours online watching puppy videos. Also, he had spent quite some time playing with Leo last week, and did not stop talking about it ever since.”
Just then, a small voice called out from the staircase. "Mama?"
She looked up to see Jack standing there, a hopeful expression on his face. "Yes, sweetie?" she asked, knowing exactly what he was about to ask.
Jack looked between her and Toto, his eyes slightly widened. "Did you talk to Papa about the puppy?" he asked, his voice filled with anticipation.
She smiled warmly at her son, her heart swelling with affection. She looked over at her husband, who was still leaning back in his chair, a resigned expression on his face.
"We've been discussing it," she replied to Jack, her tone light.
Jack's eyes widened even further, his whole body practically vibrating with excitement. "And what did Papa say?" he asked, barely able to contain himself.
Toto let out a soft sigh, knowing that he was outnumbered in this situation. He couldn't help but feel a pang of affection for his wife and son, especially when they both gave him those big, pleading eyes.
"We're considering it," he spoke up, his tone resigned but fond.
Jack let out a small gasp, his expression filled with glee. He practically bounced from foot to foot, his excitement barely contained.
"Considering it" seemed to be enough for Jack, as he squealed in delight and practically ran over to Toto, wrapping his small arms around his father's waist in a tight hug.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Jack repeated, his voice muffled against Toto's shirt.
Toto chuckled, returning his son's embrace. "Don't celebrate just yet," he warned, his tone mock-stern.
Despite his words, Toto's expression was softened, and his arms remained around his son. He was unable to resist the infectious joy that filled Jack's face.
She couldn't help but smile at the sight of her husband and son, their bond evident even in this brief moment. She knew that once they brought a puppy into the mix, their family would be complete.
Toto slowly extracted himself from Jack's embrace, ruffling his hair affectionately.
"But there are some conditions," he said firmly, his tone serious.
Jack looked up at his father, his expression a mixture of curiosity and wariness. "Conditions?" he asked, his voice a little quieter than before.
Toto nodded, his expression still stern. "Yes, conditions. If we're going to have a puppy, there are certain things we need to take into consideration."
Jack nodded, his eyes wide and intently fixed on his father. "Like what?" he asked, his voice a little meek.
Toto ticked off the conditions on his fingers as he spoke.
"First, we need to decide on a breed that fits our lifestyle. We can't have a high-energy dog that we can't keep up with."
He paused for a moment before continuing. "Second, you'll need to help take care of the puppy. That means feeding, walking, and cleaning up after it."
Jack nodded vigorously, his expression determined. "I can do that! I promise!"
Toto chuckled softly, impressed by his son's determination and acceptance of the conditions.
He looked at his wife, who smiled warmly at him, then back at his son, his heart feeling a mix of amusement and affection.
"Yes, that's all," he answered, his voice soft. "If you're still willing to accept those conditions, we'll consider getting a puppy."
As Toto spoke, Jack's expression slowly shifted from determination to excitement. He looked up at his father, barely able to contain himself.
"So that means we can get a puppy now?" he asked, his voice hopeful.
Toto chuckled, shaking his head indulgently. "Not just yet, maybe tomorrow" he replied, his tone gentle.
Tumblr media
A few weeks had passed since the discussions had concluded, and the day finally arrived when they would bring home their new puppy. Jack was practically vibrating with excitement, his face pressed against the car window as they made their way home.
Finally, they arrived at their house, and Jack all but pounced out of the car, running towards the front door. Toto and his wife followed more leisurely, their hearts filled with equal measures of anticipation and amusement.
When they entered the house, Jack froze in his tracks, his eyes widening at the sight in the living room. There, sitting in the middle of the room, was a small, fuzzy puppy, its wagging tail a blur.
Jack stared at the puppy in awe, barely able to speak. "Is… is that for me?" he asked, his voice soft and trembling with emotion.
Toto chuckled, ruffling his son's hair affectionately. "That's right. That's your new best friend."
Jack slowly made his way towards the puppy, his steps hesitant yet eager. The puppy looked up at him with curious eyes, its little tail still wagging excitedly.
Jack knelt down in front of the puppy, slowly holding out his hand. The puppy sniffed his hand curiously, then licked it, causing Jack to giggle happily.
"Can I hold it?" he asked, looking up at his parents with wide, pleading eyes.
Toto chuckled, his expression fond as he watched his son interact with the puppy. "Of course," he replied, his voice soft.
Jack carefully scooped up the puppy in his arms, cradling it against his chest like a precious treasure. The puppy wriggled a little, settling into a comfortable position in Jack's embrace, its eyes drifting closed in contentment.
Jack looked up at his parents, a huge grin on his face. "I love him already," he whispered, his voice filled with awe and affection.
Tumblr media
Jack wandered into the garage, the puppy trotting after him on its little legs. The puppy looked curiously around the unfamiliar surroundings, its eyes wide and curious.
Jack settled down against a wall, leaning back against the cool, smooth surface, and patted his lap, gesturing for the puppy to come closer. The puppy obeyed, clambering up onto Jack's lap and nestling in comfortably.
Toto entered the garage, a fond smile on his face as he watched the interaction between his son and the puppy. Toto leaned against a workbench, folding his arms across his chest as he observed Jack and the puppy. The puppy had completely relaxed in Jack's lap, its head resting on the boy's thigh. It looked up at Jack with adoring eyes, its tail thumping quietly against the ground.
Jack was completely enamoured, his eyes fixated on the puppy in his lap. He stroked the puppy's soft fur gently, murmuring to it softly. Toto shook his head slightly, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "You two are quite the pair already," he commented, his voice filled with amusement.
Jack looked up at his father, his expression filled with joy. "Scout's so soft," he whispered, still stroking the puppy's fur. "And he's so smart. He learns things quickly."
The puppy looked up at Toto, its eyes seeming to sparkle with a hint of mischief.
“Papa, can we go out and play? Maybe me and Scout can find Leo.” Jack asked.
“Sure, buddy. But please watch out and be careful.”
Jack and the puppy were out and exploring the paddock. Suddenly, they heard the sound of playful barking and saw Roscoe and Leo running towards them.
Roscoe and Leo bounded over to Scout and Jack, their tails wagging happily. The three dogs sniffed each other curiously, tails wagging in a friendly greeting.
Lewis and Charles watched as their dogs interacted with Jack and the puppy, a mix of amusement and fondness on their faces. Lewis chuckled softly as he watched Roscoe playfully pounce on the puppy, while Charles watched as Leo and the puppy sniffed each other curiously.
"Looks like they're already forming a pack," Lewis commented, grinning as he watched the dogs playfully wrestle together.

Stay Pt. 2 - Paul Lahote X Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
This is the final part to Stay 💕 I liked writing this version of Paul, just a big ole softie. I'm currently working on another one shot & a Sam fic as well. As always, let me know what you think! 2.4K words ❤️
You giggled as you took a sip of coffee, the tea you had made went cold long ago.
"I definitely don't think a slap across the face was necessary..."
He chuckled, "That's what I said! Jacob is still hopelessly in love with her. They aren't even imprints. I don't get it." He shook his head.
"What's imprints?"
Paul nearly choked on his drink.
"Um, well it's-"
"Good morning you two!" Paul sighed of relief as Emily walked into the kitchen.
"Oh my gosh, what time is it?" You went wide eyed.
She laughed, "7:00am. I was going to make breakfast if you're hungry."
You nodded getting up, "Sure, I'll help you."
Paul watched you both cook as the rest of the pack slowly filtered in. He. Was. Fucked.
He was trying to come up with something, anything he didn't like about you. Not only was he incredibly stubborn on the fact he didn't need anybody, but what he wouldn't admit was he was downright terrified. Afraid he'd say the wrong thing, or do something stupid and screw up any chance of a relationship. He didn't want a relationship. But that was before you....
-
New vampires were popping up everywhere, and the boys had been on patrol non stop.
This meant little to no conversations with you, other than the occasional small talk at dinner. Paul craved to be closer to you, but every time he had an opportunity, he let his nerves get the best of him.
He watched you leave to run errands one day, Emily then turning to him.
"Are you ever going to ask her out or are you always going to stare at her like a lost puppy?" She boldly asked.
Paul couldn't help but smirk.
"What's it to you?"
"Ummm EVERYTHING. You imprinted on my best friend. And besides, I've watched you get with many women. I can tell she's different to you." She smiled.
Paul sucked in a breath. He took a quick look around to make sure there were no other open ears before mumbling, "She just makes me nervous, I don't know. I guess I never cared if someone would reject me before. Not sure how I would handle it if she did."
"You're kidding right? Ugh, you're both so lost in the clouds. She's head over heels for you, Paul."
"Yeah right." He scoffed.
"I'm serious!! Do whatever you want to do but I think if you took a shot, you'd like her answer."
-
You had been sort of bummed out at the fact you really hadn't gotten anywhere with Paul since that one late night weeks ago. You had chalked it up to him simply not being interested. Normally you'd just brush it off, knowing not every guy you encountered would want you in that way. But, it was ten times harder when you lived with said person. Even though the boys had been extra busy with patrols, you still saw him at least once a day. You got butterflies each time, fantasizing he would just walk up and ask you out. When he never did, you knew you had to just get over it.
Your phone buzzed in your pocket, and you sighed, looking at the unanswered question. Fuck it.
-
It was a Friday night, and the first one in months that Paul didn't have patrol. He was finally going to do it. He was going to ask you on a date. He'd thought this through, countless times. He was simply going to offer if you'd like to grab some pizza and go see a movie. Nothing crazy, just casual and comfortable.
His leg was bouncing under the kitchen table, waiting anxiously for most of the boys to leave. He had been mindlessly talking to Quil who had suddenly averted his gaze to the stairs, eyes growing wide. "Holy shit." He whispered. Paul turned to where he was looking, and his breath caught in his throat.
There you stood, radiating in a tight dress that hugged your body in all the right ways. Your hair had been curled just slightly and your makeup made your face glow. You looked like you had taken a step right out of heaven.
"And just where do you think you're going gorgeous?!?" Emily gushed, hand on her hip when she, too had noticed.
"I got invited on a date." You beamed.
Paul felt like he had just taken a knife to his chest. His heart felt like it was nearly ripped out, his inner wolf scratching at the surface in pain. This was nobody's fault but his own. He didn't do anything for weeks and it wasn't even surprising someone else had beaten him to it.
The air was tense, all the boys and Emily trying and failing not to gauge Paul's reaction to your words. He slowly got up from the table, restraining himself not to shake, not to even show a slight temper until he was outside and far away from the house. He couldn't ruin this for you.
You frowned at Paul's exit, wondering in the back of your mind if he at all cared. Nonsense. Focus on this date, and do not think about him.
-
"I thought I'd find you here." Sam chuckled as he approached Paul, both in wolf form on the edge of the forest. Paul hadn't wanted anyone to see, but when your date picked you up he had followed you both to the restaurant, happy it was in ample sight through the crowded trees.
Paul huffed. "I'm just making sure she's safe. That is my job as an imprint, is it not?" He sneered.
"Of course. But then again, if you admitted to yourself that you liked her, she might not be on this date in the first place."
"For fucks sake. I do like her, okay? I've been busy on patrol and I was planning on asking her out tonight. I didn't know it would be too late.."
"It's never too late."
"Have you and Emily been watching too many rom-com's lately? Seems you both have all the answers to my love life."
Sam snorted. "We don't have all the answers, no, asshole, but we do know first hand what it's like to navigate imprinting."
Paul sighed. Maybe the universe would give him a second chance.
-
You had regretted everything the second you got in the car. This guy was the most boring, dullest man you could have ever met. You caught yourself looking at the clock more than you did him.
Once you had suffered through about two hours of misery, you politely (and awkwardly) told him you didn't think this would work out, and that you would find a ride home. He seemed absolutely fine with this, and you knew it was because you had put in so little effort from the start. Perhaps dating was not for you right now anyways. At least, dating anyone that wasn't him. Once you'd stop letting him get in the way of your thoughts, you'd try again.
After the man left you called Emily from the lobby, to which she apologized it didn't work out and said she'd of course be on her way.
What you hadn't expected however, was to see a certain wolf you had been obsessing over, pull up to park instead.
What a sneaky little bitch.
You walked up to the passenger door, eyebrows up in confusion.
"You ordered a get away car?"
You blushed, rolling your eyes playfully as you hopped in.
"Listen, not every guy is going to be my knight in shining armor and I've accepted that." You chuckled.
"That bad huh?"
"Miserable. Had the personality of watching paint dry. And that place was awful. They didn't even have good food. Just salad and wine. I'm starving." You threw your hands up in defeat.
Paul cleared his throat, the nerves starting to creep back up to him.
"Would you want to stop somewhere for some pizza?"
"Please, that would be great."
Paul smiled as he started up the truck.
-
You two walked through the door, throwing each other a confused look. It was silent. If there was one thing you learned about living here for the past month, it was that it was never, ever quiet.
Paul set the boxes on the counter, noticing a small note.
"I'll be back, I'm just going to change." You announced before heading to your room, in which he took the opportunity to quickly read it.
Probably the only time I can promise a house to yourselves until at least midnight. Make a move already! -Emily & Sam
Paul blushed before discretely throwing it in the trash.
You came back in an oversized hoodie and sweats, just about knocking the wind out of Paul. How did you look so flawless, so effortlessly? He'd never know.
"We could watch a movie while we eat on the couch. If you want..." He tried to sound as nonchalant as possible.
You smiled and nodded, grabbing a slice and following him.
When both of you had finished eating, still watching the movie, Paul's mind was anywhere else. He had to stop letting his nerves get the best of him. Before he'd know it, you'd just be out again with some other guy. He couldn't let that happen without at least knowing if he had a chance. You were his imprint for crying out loud, so you had to feel some sort of bond, right?
He eyed you from the side as he caught you hugging your knees to your chest, shivering ever so slightly.
"Are you cold?" He asked as if it wasn't obvious. When you nodded meekly he held out his arm. "Come here."
Your heart was racing as you more than gladly accepted the invitation in his arms. Jeez, was he hot.
"You have this tempature all the time?"
You could feel his chest vibrate as he chuckled. "I guess there are some perks to being a wolf."
Paul was being as normal as possible, but his mind was screaming. You molded perfectly into his chest, your hair smelling of fresh shampoo. Your small hands hesitantly wrapped around his torso as you snuggled deeper into him. He placed his arm on yours, the other wrapped around your side. He could spend forever just like this.
It wasn't but an hour that he could feel you softly start to snore. He smiled to himself as he gently kissed the top of your head. He leaned his cheek down, and soon enough, he followed.
-
Paul squinted his eyes open, nearly jumping when he saw your head still lay on his chest. He had almost thought the entire thing was a dream. As the sun shone through the curtains he realized you both had slept through the entire night, shocked none of the pack members tried to mess with him. He absentmindedly ran his fingers through your hair and out of your face. You looked so peaceful. He pulled his hand away when you started to blink, yawning and stretching before also realizing where you were.
You looked up at him before fully sitting up.
"Oh my gosh, I didn't realize I fell asleep."
"It's okay, I just woke up myself."
You both now sat upright on the couch, but still so close. You looked up at him with tired eyes. He couldn't help staring back,
"You're really beautiful you know." He said so softly that it was almost a whisper.
You blushed, hard. You looked in his eyes, the ones you caught yourself in so many weeks ago, and down to his lips. You parted your mouth slightly as if you should say something, but Paul was already ahead of you.
With one hand he cupped your cheek, he leaned down and melted his lips into yours. You snaked your arms around his neck, getting lost in the kiss, in his overall warmth. He could feel you smile through the kiss, and it was as if it washed away any doubts that he had before.
"Ohhhhhh SNAP!!!!" Embrys voice had you two pull away, Paul turning to glare at him as his hand still gripped your waist. He almost had a mind to get off the couch and fight him, if you hadn't placed your head into his neck, giggling.
"Embry I told you to leave them alone damnit." Emily's stern voice came from behind them, smacking him upside the back of his head. She drug him back into the kitchen, ordering he help her with breakfast.
"Hate to say it but nights like last night won't happen often. Theres a lot of interruptions in this house." He said as he softly kissed your forehead. You lifted your head back up, kissing him softly once more.
"As long as we can always pick up where we left off."
Paul smiled wide as he swiftly pulled you under him, your laugh rung in his ears as he returned his mouth to yours.
Perhaps fate wasn't so bad after all.

Elephant in the Room Pt. 3
Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Summary: John and you hooked up after a night at the bar. You two after that never saw each other again. At least until 12 years later when Price discovers that 9 months after your time together you had given birth to not one baby, but two. Word Count: 1592 Content: angst
Price honestly isn't sure what the best thing to do in this situation is, but he decides to softly knock, almost a tap, against the door once more before calling out your name, "I know I'm the last person you want to see right now, but I need to talk to you."
 It goes quiet on the other side of the door, and for a moment John thinks that you, fairly so, left him standing there alone talking to himself. That is of course before the door is swinging open revealing you once more. Your eyes are bloodshot and cheeks are stained with tears. He also sees what once was confusion on your face is now replaced with anger.
You take a step towards him with one arm raised. It's obvious that you're going to hit him, and while Price could very easily block it he lets you strike him.
The sound of flesh connecting rings out through the quiet as you slap him across the face. Your breath is heavy as you growl out, "Did you do it? Did you take him?"
He takes the hit in stride; you're hardly the strongest person to ever smack him before. Taking in your words though Price does feel a slight spark of anger in his chest at the idea of him doing this purposely. Although he supposes it does look very suspicious that he would show up right after Andrew was taken from your point of view.
The labs luckily don't make any moves, simply watch the interaction in silence. "I promise you I didn't do this. You can think whatever you want about me, but I wasn't the one who took him. I have an idea who did though." He stares into your eyes, trying to show you that he isn't lying. "If we could all go inside I promise to explain what I can."
"All?" It was at that moment that you finally seemed to take notice of the three other men behind him.
John steps to the side letting you have a better view of them, "these are my men; they're here to help."
Looking at you though you don't seem to take in any of his words. You shake your head slightly before turning, and walking back inside; leaving the door open for them to presumably follow you.
Silently you make your way into the dining room, and take a seat at the table. "Sit, please." Your voice is firm, but clearly exhausted. He sits down on the opposite side of you while Soap and Gaz sit on both sides of him. Ghost on the other hand stands in the corner next to the doorway. “Explain.”
"My team was sent a video of Andrew." John for once found himself lacking confidence, and unsure of what to say. He wanted to tell you the truth, but in your current state being blunt may only hurt you further right now. "They made demands of me and my team for his safe return. A highly skilled team is looking into the video as we speak, and I will be going to get him back as soon as I can."
"Why did they take him to threaten you? How did they connect him to you?" You ask after a few seconds, "He has never even met you before." Your voice cracks as you try to speak.
"Nothing is confirmed as of now, but I have an idea of how they found him. We'll keep you updated when new information comes to light. I assume after they found him they thought I had simply hid my family from any paper trail that led to me."
"So everything that's been happening is all because of some misunderstanding!" Your anger shining through with every word, "What now? I'm supposed to just sit here and wait; what's to stop them taking Amelia as well if you don't do as they say?"
“That’s actually why we’re here.”
“What do you mean by that?”
Ghost is surprisingly the one to speak up, “It means you and the kid are being relocated. Time to start packing the essentials.”
"Lieutenant!" Price quickly repremans, "What he meant to say is that it is no longer safe for you two to stay here while this situation is still active. We'd like to move you both onto base; a house is already set up for you."
“You’re serious?,” You asked, voice rising in disbelief, “We have to leave our home?”
“It’s for your safety; I wouldn’t be asking this of you in any other situation.”
“I just can’t believe that you-.” You begin to say before being cut off by a young feminine voice.
“Mom?”
Price quickly looks toward the voice, and there standing in the doorway is Amelia.
She looks quickly around the room, taking in and analyzing all the strangers in her home. Pausing once her focus is on him. He knows Amelia is a smart kid, and that with him in front of her there is no way she doesn't know who he is. It's obvious when it finally clicks in her head. Her shoulder tense and her eyes look sharper. "What's going on?"
Before she has even finished asking her question you are standing and rushing towards her. You bring Amelia into your arms, and begin to guide her out of the dining room. "Let's go talk in your room." You say before addressing him once more, "I'll be down in a bit. Uh feel free to get yourself something from the kitchen. I'll be down to discuss this more shortly."
No one says a thing as they watch you make your way around the corner and out of sight. The silence only lasts for a second though before Gaz is speaking up, "Cap, you solid?"
Price takes a defeated breath, “How much have I messed this whole thing up?”
“I’d say this conversation is actually going quite well. She could have refused to listen to us entirely.”
Soap is next to speak, “If anything I’d say Lt. is the one to make her hostile against him.”
“She wasn’t going to like being told she and her daughter have to leave their home. That anger of being told that was directed at me rather than the captain. I’d say I’m the only one who helped him during that conversation.” Ghost states back.
Before Soap can say anything further Price interrupts them, “Enough you two; you’re not about to start arguing right now.”
The room lulls back into silence before Gaz asks him, “What are we gonna do if she doesn’t agree to come with us?”
"We'll stay here then until she does," John wasn't sure what else could be said to convince you to come with them, but he would stay here with you both until he did, "Let's just hope it doesn't come to that."
Before more can be said you're striding back into the room once again; coming to stand across from him. "You're going to get Andrew back?"
"I won't rest until I do."
You give him a final nod and say, "We'll go with you; to the base. I'll go start packing I suppose then." With that you're walking out leaving Price stunned with how almost simple that exchange was.
The rest of their time spent there was filled with helping them pack their bags into the cars. Soap and Gaz talked the most to you both at this point; not wanting you two to be scared of them. Hoping to be a friendly face in a new location.
John wanted to try and talk to Amelia, but this situation was already overstimulating and he didn't want to add even more on top of that.
Finally everything was packed and ready to go. Laswell had texted him as well letting him know that the house was now fully set up for his girls.
His girls. Isn't that a nice thought.
It was at this moment though where John took a pause. You two had gotten into one of the vehicles and as much as he wanted to be with you both he wasn't sure if that would be the best right now. Being away right now might be better. Without much more thought to that he climbs into the other car; Ghost getting into the passenger's seat. He watches as Soap and Gaz climb into the car you're in before pulling out down the road back to base.
It's a quiet drive; neither one feeling particularly talkative. After so long though Ghost surprisingly does speak up. "You should have got in the car with them."
"Thank you for your input lieutenant," irritation was clear in his voice.
"You need to talk to them."
"That's ironic coming from you; someone who never wants to talk."
"I'm not the one who discovered they have a family this morning."
John tightens his grip on the steering wheel, "I think it's best to not overwhelm them right now."
Ignoring what he just said, Ghost continues, "Time heals all wounds they say. The sooner you have an honest talk with them the sooner the healing can begin."
"Time is not always enough; sometimes you have to amputate to heal." He retorts despite knowing that Ghost is only trying to help him. "If that means by the end of this they need to leave me to heal then so be it."
Ghost gives him a hard stare before fixing his gaze onto the road ahead. The rest of the drive is silent.

author's note: i feel like i owe this one to you guys! my last ff was made last minute and i didn't put my all into it so here is something to make up for it (thank you to those that still enjoyed it). i've also been trying to post at least once a week so enjoy this bonus :)
- - - - -
"y/n~ i heard there's going to be a high school reunion this month. you're coming right?" jay asked. you had moved away to los angeles, california, to pursue your dreams of becoming an actor while most of your high school classmates remained in washington. although you had many friends during high school, jay was one of your closest friend and had always kept in touch with you, despite the long 10 years you were gone.
"i didn't even go to the first one. what makes you think i'll go?" y/n joked.
"oh come on. it'll be nice seeing everyone for once." jay begged. "or you can come up to just see me," he teasingly said.
you stayed silent for a moment, thinking seriously of whether you should or not. being reminded suddenly of your hard work led you to think that maybe it was the perfect time to take a break for once.
"fine." you gave in.
"finally," jay relieved happily.
"you know what. i'll book the ticket for you." he insisted.
"do as you wish," you happily took his offer.
in a matter of time, you talked to your manager about going to the high school reunion and took a flight back to washington.
"y/n!!" a familiar voice yelled outside the terminal. it was jay.
"hi!!" you hugged jay with one arm while your other hand held tightly to the cap on your head. your manager had warned you to not get caught in the airport by any reporters, making you a bit anxious but happy all together. jay had immediately pounced on you when you hugged and was squeezing you to death.
"let me go," you laughed, tapping his back as if he was putting you on a choke hold.
"i’m glad you made it here safely. come on. let's go," jay said, finally releasing you and petting the top of your cap. “i’ll take your suitcase.”
you and jay arrived at his neighborhood, leading you to feel nostalgic. jay had decided to buy a house near the school instead of moving far, allowing you to see the school while driving past. you rolled down the window, taking a closer look at the school; the building looked renovated, having a more modern look with a nice touch of a mowed lawn.
"wow, this place has changed a lot," you noticed.
"it has." jay said, continuing to drive.
"what are you going to wear later?" you asked, rolling the window back up.
"something casual. did you pack something nice?" jay asked.
"of course. this super star has to always look good," you joked.
the afternoon swept past quickly as you and jay reminisced about the past, causing you guys to hurriedly dress up when realizing it was time to leave.
"thank goodness you live close to the restaurant," you said, hanging your gold earrings.
"mhm," jay agreed, styling his hair.
"i'm done!" you grabbed your bag from the couch.
"let's go," he said, swiftly grabbing his car key as you both rushed out the house.
jay slightly stepped on the speed, trying to be cautious of the neighborhood kids, but trying to hurry as well. "omg we're literally 30 minutes late," you exclaimed in the car. jay pulled up to the restaurant, finding all the parking lots to be filled.
"it seems pretty packed. go inside first," he said, putting the car in park for a moment.
"see you inside," you said, unbuckling your seatbelt and heading inside.
as you quickly entered the restaurant, you immediately saw your best friend, sooyeon.
"omg is that the famous y/n?!" she exclaimed. "hurry up, come in and eat!" she motioned for you to sit. you smiled happily at her, glad to know that she still remembered you, making your way over to her table.
as you made yourself comfortable, you saw a familiar face across from you. it was sunghoon. your eyes uncontrollably widened, awkward yet surprised. you had forgotten everything about this man. sunghoon was your first everything: kiss, relationship, love.
"hey y/n," he welcomed you.
you felt unfamiliar with his attitude. “is it because i'm famous now?” you thought to yourself. you and sunghoon had ended on a bad note. you had found out something unreasonable that finally broke you guys up. this however not only made you form a hatred for him, but the other way as well. you guys would avoid each other at school and left high school without any good-bye messages.
"hi." you awkwardly said. “did he forget what he did?” you thought to yourself.
"did jay come with you?" sooyeon asked, butting into silence.
"yeah he did." you said, avoiding sunghoon's eye contact.
"he can take my seat. i'll sit next to sunghoon." sooyeon offered.
"thanks," you said, looking down at your hands, fidgeting with them.
"i'm here!!" jay blasted the door open.
"yo jay!" everyone welcomed him.
your eyes lit back up, glad jay came before it got more awkward.
"come sit here!" sooyeon guided him next to you.
as jay was about to sit, he noticed sunghoon sitting across from you. "oh shoot." he said with his eye.
"i forgot my polaroid in the car." jay said. "can you get it for me? wouldn’t want to miss taking a photo as a memory." he said, giving you the car key. "i didn't park far."
"yeah sure," you said, getting right up. you rushed out of the restaurant, making your way to his car to grab the polaroid. you slowly walked back inside, hoping that you had cooled off your anxious feeling.
"y/n! i switched seats with you if that's ok," jay said, welcoming you back in.
"that’s fine," you said, taking a seat.
"it's been so long y/n~ how have you been?" sooyeon asked while cooking the meat. jay cut some pieces of meat from the grill and placed them on your empty plate, listening to the conversation simultaneously.
"i've been pretty busy," you awkwardly laughed, unable to fake an expression like you usually did with work. "thanks," you quietly thanked jay.
"you should come more often. we've missed you." sooyeon said with pouty lips.
"haha. i didn't know," you awkwardly smiled. you noticed sunghoon looking at you, but tried your best to not make eye contact with him, unsure how to react.
"you look prettier," sunghoon suddenly butted in.
all eyes darted at him. "what?" you confusedly said.
"babe~ why would you compliment someone else?" sooyeon asked in an annoyed tone.
sunghoon ignored her comment. "i said you look prettier y/n."
you stared blankly at both sunghoon and sooyeon, the table becoming silent.
"i'm going to the restroom," you said, getting up.
in the bathroom, you scoffed at his answer, overfilling with anger. “i look prettier? what makes you think it's ok for you to say that after all these years?” you thought while washing your hands. “what the heck was sooyeon also saying?”
why was he being so confusing? what was with the change of attitude? you kept questioning yourself. as you headed out the bathroom, you saw sunghoon waiting for you, leaning on the wall. he was looking down at his shoes until he noticed you taking a closer step.
"i'm sorry if the comment earlier made you uncomfortable," he said, walking up halfway.
"it's whatever." you said, finally making eye contact with him.
"okay. i'm glad." he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
"so you've been busy?" he asked, continuing the conversation.
"yeah." you said blandly.
"hey-" you butted before he spoke anymore.
"why are you acting like this?" you asked.
"like what?" sunghoon questioned.
"like this. we haven't spoken for a while and now you're talking to me as if we're old pals." you said with a slightly angry tone.
"aren't we old pals?" he scoffed.
"no. we're not," you said sternly. "if you're just here to play with me then stop."
"i'm not here to play with you, y/n." he sighed. "i'm sorry for how we ended. i thought maybe we could work things out again when we were happy with our own paths."
"i'm sorry to pop your bubble, but that's not happening." you confessed. "it's been years sunghoon. you ruined this for us." you said.
"no y/n." he sternly said. "i haven't y/n. i never did. let's work things out." he said, grabbing onto your wrist.
"sunghoon. let me go!" you said, trying to push him away.
jay suddenly came out of nowhere, removing sunghoo’s hand from your wrist.
"you're disgusting," jay said before taking your hand and walking out.
"get in the car," jay said, opening the passenger door for you. you entered the car, fazed by how sunghoon acted. “was he really trying to work things out?” you thought. jay began the engine and drove with an angry expression on his face.
"are you okay? what’s wrong?" you asked, already feeling frustrated by your feelings but sensing jay had more to say with the look on his face. you turned your body to face him, checking in on him.
jay quickly pulled to the street and parked abruptly. "because." he began but paused. "because he's such a dick..." he hesitantly said while looking down.
"i know that, but is that all?" you asked.
"y/n." jay began once more. "he's seriously a dickhead. he's been dating sooyeon for years after you left." he confessed.
"so he lied," you said, leaning back on the passenger seat.
"yeah. i don't know why he had the balls to do that right in front of everyone too." jay said.
you sighed, tracing back all the bad memories with sunghoon. during the winter break of senior year, he had cheated. you guys had planned to spend christmas at your family's place, but he had canceled last minute due to a cold. sad that he couldn't make it, you made him homemade chicken soup to lift up his mood but another girl was in his bedroom, already doing just that and that was your final straw with him.
"i'm so stupid," you said, fidgeting your hands again.
"no, you're not. you just didn't know." jay said, holding your hand to stop your squirmy hands.
"it's okay. i'm here for you." jay gave you an assuring look.
"thank you." you said, glad he was by your side.
"you didn't eat at all. let's go somewhere nice," he said, mustering up a smile and starting the engine.
“you also need to fix that habit of yours,” he said, looking at your hand.
"thank you for noticing everything." you said.
"hm?" jay said, not hearing you the first time.
"no one noticed but you." you repeated.

Bucktommy prompt: Buck finds out Tommy D&D (and is a pretty big nerd overall)
Hope you like it!
"Hey Ev, I know we were planning on date night on Friday, but is there any way we can raincheck it?" Tommy asked.
Buck was a little surprised. "Of course. Is everything okay? I checked our calendars and Friday was open for both of us. Did you pick up a shift or something?"
"No, nothing like that," Tommy replied. "There's this monthly first responder thing that I try to go to, and I've missed the past few months."
"Oh yeah? What kind of first responder thing? Another sport? Poker?" Buck asked, curious.
"Uh, not quite," Tommy said, blushing slightly. He mumbled, "It's Dungeons and Dragons."
"Wait? You play Dungeons and Dragons?" Buck said grinning at Tommy like he was the cutest thing in the world.
"Uh, yeah," Tommy replied, looking a bit sheepish. "It was sort of my escape as a kid. I would come up with these elaborate quests, and it was just so much better than being the awkward closeted gay kid. That and comic books were kind of all I had," Tommy admitted, his voice softening as he shared this piece of his past.
Buck's expression shifted from amusement to understanding, his eyes filled with warmth. "Tommy, that's... that's really cool. I had no idea you were into that stuff."
Tommy shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, well, it's not exactly something I advertise. But it's still a big part of who I am, you know?"
"I get it," Buck said, reaching out to squeeze Tommy's hand. "Thanks for sharing that with me. So, tell me more about this first responder D&D group. How did that even start?"
Tommy chuckled, seeming more at ease now. "Well, I've only been a part of it since I started at Harbor. I guess when I started there, I came out not only as gay but also as a giant nerd," he laughed.
Buck joined in the laughter, his eyes twinkling with affection. "I love that. It's like you got to be your whole self all at once."
"Yeah, it felt pretty good," Tommy admitted. "The guys at Harbor were surprisingly cool about both things. Turns out, there were a few other closet D&D fans at the station."
Tommy's expression grew more serious for a moment. "It's definitely not something I would've admitted at the 118 with Captain Gerrard in charge. And after my dad's reaction when he found out... well, let's just say it wasn't great, to say the least. I learned pretty quickly to keep that part of myself hidden too."
Buck's face softened with understanding. "I'm sorry you had to hide that part of yourself for so long. But I'm glad you found a place where you can be open about it now."
Tommy nodded, a small smile returning to his face. "Me too. It's nice to finally feel like I can be my whole self, you know?"
"I do know," Buck said, squeezing Tommy's hand. "And for what it's worth, I think your nerdy side is pretty cute."
Tommy's face lit up at Buck's words. "Thanks, baby," he said, a warm smile spreading across his face. "And maybe someday I can help you learn about it. Maybe even help you create a character," he added, his eyes twinkling with excitement at the prospect.
Buck grinned, clearly charmed by Tommy's enthusiasm. "You know what? I'd like that. And you've already met my inner nerd – the one who loves to watch documentaries and info dump about random facts."
Tommy chuckled, nodding in agreement. "That's true. And I love you for it, by the way. Your excitement when you're sharing some obscure fact is one of my favorite things about you."
Buck's cheeks flushed slightly at the compliment. "Well, then maybe it's time I embraced my nerdiness fully. Who knows? Maybe I'll discover a hidden talent for D&D."
"Oh, I have no doubt," Tommy said, pulling Buck into a hug. "With your imagination and your love for details, you'll probably end up being the dungeon master before you know it."
Buck smiled brightly and somehow found himself falling even more in love with this man who could be both a brave firefighter pilot and an enthusiastic D&D player. It was just another reminder of the many layers that made up Tommy Kinard, and Buck was grateful for the chance to discover each and every one of them.

Tumblr media
summary: bits of love, domestic shit, sex and angst💗
warnings: vulgar language, smut, breeding kink, lil angst, fluff
a/n: i have been super busy with exams DD;
Tumblr media
It had taken a lot getting used to, not constantly having to look over one's shoulder. Months had passed and you had found yourself quite enjoying the life you had made here.
It was safe to say you had made the adjustment quicker than Joel had. He was... Well, he was trying. At least, that's what you had convinced yourself.
Ellie screamed in rage, slamming the door to her room shut, undoubtedly right in Joel's face.
You moved in the couch so that you could watch him as he came down the stairs, his footsteps heavy on the wood.
When he noticed he had your attention, the small sympathetic smile on your lips, he threw up his hands in surrender.
You waited for him to sit down and only when he had done so, he let out a deep sigh of exasperation.
"Baby," hummed you, schooching closer to him, starting twirling som of his hair. "Don't you think you're being a little too harsh on her?"
"I don't want her running around this late," was all he responded his eyes fastened on the ceiling as he leaned into your touch.
"This is normal, right? She's a teenager."
"Nothin' 'bout this is normal."
A sigh escaped you, but instead of retreating, you moved sit straddle his lap, a sad look glistening in your eyes.
"Joel, babe, do you feel safe?"
He gave you a dumbfounded look, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
"Here, I mean. In Jackson."
He shrugged, "sure." His large hands cupped your ass cheeks and he inhaled deeply, shifting slightly beneath you.
You couldn't help but chuckle at him, knowing even in stressed situations he was completely under your spell.
"Joel, baby, this is the only chance Ellie's ever had to be normal. And I know you've been through a lot, but you can let your guard down here, you know that? There's no need to keep looking over your shoulder."
All Joel did was sigh, his rough hands still on your ass.
"We could be one big family here--"
"Hon, we've talked about this..."
"I know, I know... it's just... I feel like a lot has changed now. Ellie's in school, she's got a lot of friends, with Tommy and Maria's little girl... I just--it feels right."
A defeated look grazed his features, teeth sucking on his bottom lip. You were right. It was something he had gone over many times in his head, never stumbling upon a "let's do it" himself, although never finding a definite "no" either. It made sense.
For the first time in decades he did not constantly look over his shoulder (although every now and then he got these panicky flashes of what would happen when he let his guard down) and Ellie seemed to have a good time in here Jackson. He was getting older by the day and knowing from day one you had always wanted kids, he felt in no position to deny you that. He had once let you know how he thought you could do much better, and although you had told him he needed to feel more comfortable about who he was, he was still certain guys would line up to father your babies.
Also, it was something he really did want. Joel had always been a family-oriented man and the thought of creating one with you made his heart flutter. To begin with he blamed it on his own poor health, but it was no longer something he could deny. He loved you too damn much.
"If we're doin' this we're startin' right now," he finally hummed, his large hands squeezing your ass.
Your brows bounced in surprise, not having expected him to make a decision straight away. You suddenly felt a wave of guilt, worried you had rushed his decision. Knowing where he came from the last thing you wanted was to pressure him.
As if reading your thoughts, Joel cupped your face. "I'm sure, baby. Let's do this."
Giving you no time to protest Joel captured your lips in a hot kiss as he cradled you in his arms. Wanting to make him feel good, you reached down to unbuckle his belt, but he made a movement to stand up, holding you even tighter before he slammed you back down on the couch.
"Lemme take care of you, doll."
You were surprised by how quickly his mien turned into lustful, but you could not help but indulge in this feeling of being desperately wanted.
His heavy scent enveloping you in a bubble of need, his harsh touch ensuring your safety. It was all too much for you to not lay back at his command and let him do whatever he pleased.
Joel lifted up you shirt, so that he could place soft kisses that becoming open-mouthed and more testing they further down he got. With your eyes closed, you arched your back into the old cushions, releasing a soft hum when you suddenly shut up with your eyes open.
"Ellie, Joel!"
Peeking up at you, his brows heaved questioningly as his eyes shifted between you and the stairs. He knew what you were getting at, but he was not worried. Confident Ellie would either go to sleep or at least take some time to cool down, he proceeded to pull at your shorts.
"You'll jus' 'ave to be quiet for me then, won't ya?"
The stubble on his cheeks tickled your thighs but when you squirmed in protest, his hands held you in your place.
Even if Ellie did come out from her room, the wooden home and creaky floors would give her away, leaving a minimum of 7 seconds to get decent before she could find you. Joel had already gone over it in his head, many times before this, too, always making sure to never be caught from an awkward angle.
"Can you do tha' for me, baby girl?"
And all it took was that soft inquiry to convince you he had it all under control. When he hooked a finger through your panties, pulling them down, you shuddered as the cool air grazed your pussy. It seemed you were never not wet around Joel.
Suddenly, when you had only nodded and leaned back to get comfortable, Joel placed a slap on your cheek before bringing his hand to your jaw.
"Words, baby."
Taken by surprise, your mouth was slightly agape, to which he could not resist but pull at your bottom lip with his thumb. The look in his eyes made you writhe under him, wanting him to take that animalistic hunger out on you right then and there.
"Yes, Joel," whined you, biting out for his thumb when he chuckled. He absolutely loved it when he could feel, see, smell how eager you were for him.
Joel wasted no time going down on you, his tongue skillfully locating your clit, his hands lifting your thighs over his shoulders when he got comfortable, wearing you like earmuffs.
Your favorite look. His favorite place.
. . .
You had accidentally torn your underwear on the washboard, trying to get the blood out of the material. You knew to be more careful with old pieces as they were prone to shred when handled without care, but you couldn't help but take the frustration out on them when you got your period. You were well aware it was indeed possibly to menstruate when pregnant, however a concoction of sadness and anger simply took over you when you noticed the blood in your panties, having gotten your hopes up a little too much when your period had been late a week ago.
Upon throwing them out, you returned to bed. As it was early morning, Joel was still asleep so you got under the covers and spooned him up, nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck.
The same minute he moaned and pulled your arm over his body, forcing you to hug him even tighter. It was things like this that made you absolutely melt. His bodily love language was beyond anything you had ever experienced.
"C'mere," moaned Joel as he snuggled deeper into your embrace.
Very subtly he guided your hand down to his hard cock, making you chuckle despite having just been on the verge of breaking down because you feared you were unable to get pregnant.
. . .
The Tipsy Bison was a truly magical place. Regardless of people's alcohol consumption it seemed everyone forgot their worries, their fears and the hardship they had endured to get here, and were enjoying themselves same way they used to before the apocalypse.
Ellie was sat in one end of the bar, playing a game of Battleship with Maria and the baby, and Joel were throwing darts with Tommy and some of his friends, a big grin on his face and an even bigger beer in his hand.
You adored the way his eyes would shine when he smiled, really smiled. The glimpse was like a little shooting star in his hazelnut galaxy, striking and breathtaking even from across the room. When he came to look at you, even more so. You gave him a little wave and blew him a kiss.
Then Joel looked back and decided no one would miss him, not when he noticed that love-drunk look in your eyes.
It was incredible how salient the beer smelled on him, knowing he had not been drinking that much. Perhaps it was simply because you were staying away from it all, hopes of bearing his child still laying dormant in the back of your mind. Instead you got drunk off of his lips, his tongue and his skin.
He had held out his hand for you, saying "let's go home" with a sly smirk on his lips. You chuckled and nodded towards Ellie, reminding him that they shouldn't go without her and if they did drag her back home with them, they would have to wait for her to be asleep to do whatever it was Joel's lewd eyes suggested.
Grabbing on to your waist, Joel closed the gap between you, murmuring seductively, "oh hon, I could take you right 'ere over this table if you let me."
The mix of alcohol and desire gave his voice a double coating of accent, that Texan drawl spelling nothing but trouble.
"Ten minutes, no longer." You latched onto his broad arm and pulled him with you.
Hissing, his eyes watched your ass swaying while following closely, "shit, woman, no less I hope."
. . .
Joel wasted no time showering you in beer-stained kisses and declarations of love, working his way down till he moaned into your pussy, drinking himself completely gone in your juices.
Shifting between suckling on your clit and lapping at your hole like a thirsty dog, Joel brought you to a body quaking orgasm before he replaced his fingers with his cock.
Clawing at his ass, you pushed him as deep as possible, crying at the sensation of feeling so filled. It started out as a joke, slapping his ass the same way he would do to you, but you found that during sex, he emitted filthy groans whenever you would grope as his cheeks, especially when it was to feel him to the fullest.
"Gonna fill ya up so good, baby. Make you scream till I know you're full with my kids," moaned he between kisses, feeling your pussy squeeze him once before he set a steady pace, moving inside you to feel each crevice and hear each he elicited, only the pornographic sound of your cunt accompanying the heavy moans and groans in the room.

Random lark headcanons
random lark head canons because i may create fanfiction i may not we'll see.
also why does everyone always give them gendered pronouns I just want one fic where they all have they/them pronouns I swear its not confusing
Cole:
• Tooth gap, slightly insecure about it.
• Constantly nervous, bordering feeling on-edge.
• Likes people watching in the way old people feeding ducks at the park do.
• Routine is great in some aspects of their life.
• I see a lot of people hcing them to have stage fright. I can see them having it when they first started the Lark, but I don't see them with it their entire career. But the mask helps.
• Likes it when Pierre braids their hair but won't ask unless offered.
Perrine:
• Absolute boss at chicken fighting, whether they're carrying someone or not.
• Likes physical affection in medium amounts but will never admit it.
• Sleeps like a rock but likes having a lot of pillows.
• Designed the structure for everyone's masks & gave Cole advice on how to paint their guitalete.
• Goes non-verbal & cleans when mad.
• Learned how to braid from Clementine.
Kingsley:
• Moves in their sleep a lot.
• Naturally sneezes a lot. Likes counting them. Once sneezed 27 times in a row during a show.
• Will argue just because they're a bit bored. Will knock it off if it becomes a serious issue.
• Loves tic-tac-toe.
• Really bad at apologizing but makes their point known.
• Verbally stims a lot through accents or repeating a sound. Oddest stim is walking on their knees. (I'm projecting a lil bit on this one)
Clementine:
• Curls their hair around their fingers while bored.
• Cuddly sleeper.
• Watery eyes when even slightly upset.
• If they had a super power they'd wanna fly.
• Listens to Kingsley yap late at night when the other two have gone to bed because they have too much energy to sleep just yet & Clemmie doesn't mind staying up a bit later than normal.
Group:
• Favorite random group activity is playing tag.
• Family bonfires at least twice a month where they critique each other a bit & think of new songs. Most of the time, Cole will play a tune while Pierre freestyles to it as Clementine & Kingsley dance. Clementine may sing with Pierre sometimes. (I believe that Kingley's a bad dancer on purpose, & just kinda behaves like Bingo in that episode where the kids wouldn't walk normally while cleaning up the blanket fort.)
• Every once in a while Kingsley will wanna sleep with someone, normally Clemmie. Likes Cole the best since they're a cold sleeper.
thank u 4 reading & if someone draws clemmie in a bonnet I will literally owe you my life ty bye bye

Hi can I request Ushijima having a crush on reader? 🥰
yes ofc!! This will be placed in highschool btw
If there was one thing you could guarantee every day walking into homeroom it was that Ushijima would be staring at you with no shame. You're fully convinced he hates you. Always glaring at you. He doesn't look away, and he never tries to talk to you. Trying to look though your brain to find any interaction you've bad with the ace and all you can think of was the time you brought him a sharpened pencil for his exam since then one he was using broke. Maybe he didn't was you to do that. Did you over step some boundaries? You didn't understand it until White day.
Walking into homeroom you notice Ushijima wasn't staring at you. It was weird his eyes were focused on his desk and eventually closed once you reached your desk. Looking down you saw a singular dandelion on your desk that looked like it was picked right outside the school. You begin srunching your brows trying to think of who brought you this. There was some dirt left behind and nothing else. There wasn't a note or anything.
Continuing on with your day you still couldn't figure out who left the flower at your desk. At lunch Tendou seemed to be in an awfully good mood. Running around and even going as far as to give Ushijima a kiss on the top of his head. Surpised you looked over and smiled. 'Jima looked up and immediately look back down once meeting your eyes. That was new. Did you mess up again. You decided that you would stop at the gym to confont Ushijima. You wouldn't let him keep treating you like this especially when you did nothing wrong.
~~
School had ended for the day and you were ready to solve this problem once and for all. Marching over the the gymnasium you saw a kid with dark hair in a bowl cut shape. You've never seen him before so you assumed he was younger then you.
"hi! is there anyway i can talk to Ushijima-san?" you asked politely. You tilted you head slightly as you spoke just to convice the kid a little more.
"u-uh yea-yeah i'll go get him right now," The black haired boy turned around as he said that almost running into the door of the gym. He must have thought it was urgent. Good, because the sooner you can get these feelings off of you chest the better.
Soon enough Ushijima came walking out of the gym doors seeming a lot less confident then he normally is. He wouldn't even look at you in the face. This was it. You called him face to face and he still can't respect you. "Ushijima I don't know what I did to you, but can you at least act like a respectful peer and look at me in the face. It wasn't hard for you to do all those months. I'm sorry for whatever I did but can you at least tell me what happened," Finally getting those feelings off your chest you felt a lot better. But what you didn't expect for him to do was to turn and look at the grass next to the door. No response from him. You couldn't help but scoff. Turning around to go home all you heard from Ushijima was, "wait,". His deep voice cut you off and you turned back around to him. He reached to the grass and plucked one of the dandelion from the ground. He eyed it one more time before gently grabbing you hand it placing the small flower on to it.
"i'm sorry the first one i gave you wasn't that nice. This one reminds me of you more," He said quietly. His deep voice still rang though your whole body as your brain finally realized he was the one that gave you the flower this morning.
"no Ushijima i'm not mad about the flower. You were mad at me right?" You asked him. The broad man just shook his head at that. He seemed confused at you accusations.
"why did you think i was mad at you?" He questioned. How ever the tone of his voice had not changed.
"you're always glaring at me and never speaking," holding on tighter to the flower you looked down unable to look at him the the face. The whole situation was confusing and upsetting you to the point where tears were building up in your eyes.
"i wasn't glaring. I was admiring... tendou did say i was being creeping," He whispered the last part of his sentence. " i picked that flower this morning because it reminded me of you, but i thought you didn't like it so i picked another," He said like it was obvious.
"it took you a long time to pick one," you sounded defeated, questioning if what he was saying was really genuine.
"the other ones didn't remind me of you...just those two" evertime he spoke he sounded so sure of himself. That must be what draws people in he's confident in almost everything he does.
"but they all look the same?" you questioned.
"no this one is prettier then the others," You didn't quite get what he saw, but you didn't need too, because you could tell he was serious. Like those two flowers were the only roses in a bunch of weeds, and yes a dandelion was technically a weed but you wouldn't hold it against him.
"so let me get this straight you don't hate me, and you got me these flowers because you...like me?" After your questioning statement he nodded his head once looking directly in your eyes. If the area wasn't so shaded you would be able to see the pink dusting his cheeks.
He wanted to say sorry for being weird, and that he has a hard time communicating his feelings, but your smile was enough for him to feel comforted. He felt even safer when you got down, picked a dandelion from the grass, and placed it gently in his hand. He wouldn't tell you, but he still had that flower years later, in a frame, wilted and dead but still his most prized possession.

Hongjoong!model x fem Bod! Fotographer
Summary: Hongjoong is a model and has his own clothing line, you are his fotographer for the day. When you saw that you got a chance to shoot hongjong you didn't believe it. You have been a fan of his clothing line for a while and are absolutely obsessed with it, but what you don't know is that he has been following your work since that day you started to post your photos.
Genre: romance(?), mature content
Warnings: without protection(wrap it up!!!), hongjoong down bad for you
You where sitting on your bed with your laptop, checking if you have anymore jobs for the next weeks. You see that next week on Wednesday you have a shoot scheduled with the Kim hongjoong. Designer and model. Your jaw drops in shock, why did he chose you to be his photographer, he has never even met you?
You quickly pick up your phone and dial your friends number.
"Jongho you will not believe who I will be shooting next week" "you sound exited, so probably someone famous?" He guesses. "Well yes ofcourse someone famous but I'll give you a hint, he is one of my top 3 designers in the fashion industry right now" you hear jongho think on the other side of the line, "hmm, is it Kim hongjoong?" He asks "YES it's fucking the Kim hongjoong, how did he find me I'm not even that famous I only had a couple professional collaborations" "I don't know y/n but I do know you definitely need to accept this, this is such a huge opportunity" He said "you're right, but I would never in a million years decline this anyway" you laugh.
You and jongho talk for a couple more minutes before you hang up to get ready for bed. But before you get up to wash your face you quickly accept the job offer. You can't wait till next Wednesday.
You were ready to lay in bed but your phone pings, you got an Instagram DM of a online friend you made recently, he was the absolute sweetest and helped you with a few dilemmas. You've told him almost everything that happened in your life the last few months and he's a good listener.
The week goes by very slow but it's finally Wednesday. You grab your stuff and drive to your photo studio. You've never felt so nervous to do a shoot, but it's logical, it's the biggest one yet.
Once the door is unlocked you turn the lights on with the light switch, you always forget how bright that light it's. Especially when it's still dark outside, which is right now because you need to come at least 2 hours early to set everything up.
About 1 pm there was a loud knock on the door, you rushed to the front of the studio to open it. "Hi, come on in, I am y/n l/n I will be your photographer today!" You say kindly, trying not to freak out in the meantime. "Hi y/n, my name is Hongjoong. I am glad you excepted my request, I love your work" He says while bowing slightly to greet you.
"You're kidding, I absolutely love the clothing line you have going on right now. Is it true you design every piece by yourself?" You ask. Hongjoong nods "yes, and I absolutely love doing it. Maybe I do it a bit to much, it causes a lot of stress but at the end it's all worth it" "I'm sure it is" you say.
A few minutes later you showed Hongjoong the dressing room where he could change clothes in private. While he was putting on the first outfit you put on some music, if it's silent you can't function properly.
When he came out of the dressing room you sure you stared a little too long at him "you like it?" He asked, smiling slightly. "I swear it's the best one yet, I love it when there is a lot of accessories in a outfit" you say. "I know" Hongjoong said, you were confused, what does he mean he knows? But you let it slide. You where not gonna let this get awkward. You told him to stand in front of the camera and the rest of the shoot went by quickly.
It was now 3 pm, the shoot was done and hongjoong went back to the dressing room. But he forgot his phone on the table next to the camera. When you picked it up to give it to him you saw a message from yourself on his phone. When i say your heart dropped it was not an understatement. Did you send him a instagram message? You questioned yourself so you went to double check on your own account. But no, the only one you had texted was your online friend. It couldn't possibly be him right?
You knock on his dressing room door and he sticks his head out, "y/n, what's up" "can you explain why you have a text of Me on your phone?" You say. "What? Where you going through my phone" "no you left it on the table next to my camera and I send a text message to what I thought was my online best friend but then your phone pings and I saw my username pop up. So explain, why were you being someone else?" He sighs "Come in please"
Once you've settled on the couch he begins explaining, "look, I can't follow you with my real account, people would've start questioning things and they would've started texting you about me. It was never my intention to Lie to you about it. But I love your work and I just wanted to contact you about it at first" he explained. You get it, you really do but you start to think back to all the conversations you had with him. And you remember one very clearly, last week when you hung op on jongho you texted him saying 'omg I am gonna photograph Hongjoong, now I am gonna see if he's really that hot in real life'
"I texted you ABOUT you, I've said so many stuff about you? I'm so embarrassed" you say and you can feel your cheeks burning. "You are embarrassed? I am the one who should be embarrassed" Hongjoong said, he sits down next to you and tries to make sure you have nothing to be ashamed of.
"But am I as hot as you thought I should be?" You don't answer. "Too shy to say it now, you said worse things about me tho" you looked at him "don't remind me hongjoong" you say, clearly ashamed of what you said. "Yk it's kinds hot when you told what you find hot about me like 3 monts ago, haven't stopped thinking about it since. Oh and the way you send daily vlogs about your day to me is so adorable, it's the highlight of the day. But when you send me that one outfit haul with the black long dress for the party, the one with the split and the cleavage was showing. I would be lying if I didn't get off that night"
"Are you serious?" He nods "yes, you have nothing to be embarrassed about y/n. I'm worse" "you're not worse" you state. While he was talking you where staring at his lips. "What compliments did you like the most then huh?" You say.
"When you said my hands would make a pretty necklace, got my head spinning while thinking about it" He said. "Let's make it happen then" you say.
Hongjoong lips attached to yours, the kiss wasn't so loving, it was rather hungry and messy. He pulled you on his lap and, he groaned in your mouth when you moved your hips downwards. His hand creeps from the back of your neck to the front, he disconnected the kiss and looked at you. You already looked fucked out and he had barely even started.
"Just as pretty as I imagined" He said. "Just shut up and fuck me already" you whined. "I'm taking my time with you" "well I am not taking my time with you" you slid of his lap and sat on your knees in front of the couch, in-between his legs.
You buckled his belt lose and in the process your hand brushed against his hard on, he bit the inside of his mouth to stay silent. His eyes stayed on you the whole time while you were u dressing him. Now he is only left in His underwear.
You get up and sit on his lap again, you connect your lips together and slide your hand from his torso to the waistband of his pants, you slide your hand in his underwear and you wrap your hand around his cock, you can already feel the precum comming put of his tip.
You start stroking your hand up and down, hongjong needs more, he bucks his hips upwards and moans in your mouth.
You get down on your knees again and take of his underwear in the meantime, his cock springs free and your hand is around it again in no time. You lower your head and lick his cock from the bottom to the top, he throws his head back and cursed your name. Once you reach the top you take the tip in your mouth and swirl your tongue around it.
He grabs a fistful of your hair and pushes you down a bit, you give in and start to bob your head up and down in a smooth motion. After a few minutes Hongjoong pulled out of your mouth "I can't hold it any longer and I want to be in you when I cum" He says, out of breath.
He lays you down on the couch and starts to prep you, he wets his fingers by sucking on them and God that looked hot. He first fingers you with two fingers but he soon noticed that you're so wet that he can easily add another one, you moan at the stretch when he adds the third finger.
"I'm ready joong" you manage to get out, and he does not need more consent. "Do you have a condom?" He asks, you shake your head "shit" He curses, "I'm clean" you say, looking at him with big eyes, "me too, you wanna do it without?" You nodded at him.
He hovers above you and lines up, he moves his hips slowly to let you adjust. Once you've adjusted fully he bottoms out slowly just to quickly push his cock back in. He looks at the way your boobs move when he pushes himself back in and decides to grab one of them, gently squeezing it.
"I can't hold it in much longer baby" He whines, you clench around him and he fastens his pace, his hand wraps around your neck and squeezes it, not to hard but hard enough to feel it. "You where right, pretty necklace" He says out of breath.
"I'm cumming" you moan, and a few seconds later you do, while you cum you clench even harder around hongjoongs cock and you moan out his name. That sends him over the edge and cums too. His semen is spilling out of you because it's so much.
Both of you are laying breathlessly on the couch, rethink about what just happened.
I just had fucking sex with Kim hongjoong, was the only thing you could think about.
Leave a like if you liked it!!! X.R

A/N: hello my loves! It’s been a long time between stories, but in typical me-fashion I have two assignments due and haven’t touched either of them, so have a Stardew Valley fluff fic! This is also my first foray into first person perspective, so any notes are much appreciated and, as always, if you would like a tag for the next chapter let me know!

The quiet hum of the waiting room in Doctor Harvey's clinic was a sound I never thought I'd grow to like. I was often in the clinic for more severe injuries - a laceration from my sword or a broken bone from a dangerous encounter in the mines - but today it was sheer clumsiness that landed me here, holding a ziploc bag full of ice cubes against the back of my head. That's the last time I swing a pickaxe in the quarry without wearing a helmet.
"I'm starting to think you're doing it on purpose," Maru mused, chuckling softly to herself as she sorted the paperwork she was filing behind the front desk. "What is it, like, the third time this week you're in here? If you wanted to see Harvey, you could just come in to say 'hi'. No need to injure yourself."
"Very funny." I responded sarcastically, my eyes fixated on the wall opposite me. Even though she was my closest friend in this town, Maru sure knew how to get on my nerves. "If it wasn't for my mishaps, where would Harvey get all of his work from? Annual checkups? I think not."
"Ooh, someone's getting flustered over there..." Maru chuckled again as she glanced over at me, fixing her glasses flush against her face a push against the bridge. She quickly changed the subject. "You gonna go to the Flower Dance tonight?"
I shifted slightly in my seat at the mention of the Flower Dance, an indicator that I had, in fact, been thinking about it. I had missed the last Flower Dance the year prior by staying back at the farm - large events like that had never been my strong suit. As the months approached to tonight's dance, however, I grew more and more fond of the idea of attending. With the renovation of the community centre, I knew for a fact that Mayor Lewis had planned a big celebration for this year's dance, shifting it from its normal morning start time to an evening event. I cleared my throat once and shifted my glance to Maru.
"... Maybe." I muttered, trying to play off my nerves coolly. That reaction only garnered a smirk from Maru, who spoke again.
"I know Harvey's gonna be there... maybe you can stop playing around and ask him. I know he'd like that."
"Maru, will you please keep your voice down?" I begged in a sharp whisper, shifting in my seat to face her. "I don't want Harvey to hear this."
Maru shrugged her shoulders, her smirk still plastered on her face. "Fine. Keep kidding yourself. Did you at least get my text?"
“Yes, I got the text.” I answered back quickly, my voice raising slightly from a whisper. “It’s in my bag, but it won’t be much of a surprise if he overhears us!”
As if on cue, the double doors beside Maru's desk opened, and an all too familiar voice spoke calmly to his patient.
"Now, like I said, George: if you have any concerns you'd like me to take a look at, I'm more than welcome to make a house visit next time."
The doctor came out through the doors pushing George in his wheelchair, Evelyn close behind the two of them.
"You're a good man, Harvey," Evelyn said kindly as she took over the handles of George's wheelchair. "We'll see you tonight."
I shared a quick smile with Evelyn as she took George through the clinic's front doors- George grumbled something to himself as they disappeared out the doors together. My gaze shifted to rest on the doctor, and I felt my cheeks grow warm as I saw him turn his attention to me. The way he looked in his white coat was nothing short of handsome, and the way his ginger hair was neatly groomed made it more so. Harvey looked over at me and sighed, taking the makeshift ice pack against my head into account as he put his hands into his pockets.
"Another accident?" He asked softly, although a hint of amusement could be heard in his voice. I gave a sheepish smile in return, feeling a little embarrassed at him seeing me like this.
"Come on back, I'll take a look at you." He said with a polite smile as he turned on his heel and headed back through the double doors. I grabbed my backpack from my feet and followed quickly behind him, catching a glance at Maru as I passed by. I watched her mouth the words 'ask him' as she gestured towards the doors, which was met with me gesturing a hand under my neck for her to cut it out. I followed quickly behind the doctor, the double doors closing behind us with a soft 'click'.
We made our way into his office. I set my bag down at the base of the small bed in the room and took my usual place right in the middle of the bed, my legs hanging off the side as I looked over at Harvey.
"What happened this time?" Harvey asked calmly with his back turned to me, grabbing some equipment from a drawer in his desk to check my vitals.
I lowered the bag of ice from my head and placed it gingerly next to me on the bed. "I was down in the quarry today. I guess I wasn't paying attention. I swung back a little too hard... hit the back of my head with the side of the pickaxe."
I heard Harvey chuckle softly to himself as he shook his head, the sound of his laugh made my cheeks grow warm.
"What am I going to do with you?" He asked as he sat down in his swivel chair, wheeling it over to me as he took out a small torchlight from his breast pocket. He shone the light in my eyes and made me look over the room in different directions, asking typical questions to ensure I wasn't too badly hurt; my name, the date, where I was, that sort of thing. After a few seconds, he smiled as he turned off the torchlight.
"Well, it's not a concussion," he started, his voice methodical yet kind. "I've said it before and I'll say it again: You need to be careful when you're working."
"I'm fine, Harvey," I replied softly. "I guess I've been... distracted."
Harvey smiled warmly. "I can understand that. It happens to the best of us. If you need any help with it though, you're more than welcome to talk to me about it."
The comment made me smile up at him. "Really? You’d do that?"
"Sure! You can always book an appointment for a consultation regarding your mental health, it's what I'm here for."
"... ah."
I sighed softly to myself, remembering where we were. I felt a nervous feeling growing in the pit of my chest, and I remembered what Maru had said earlier. My window to ask about tonight was here, and I knew I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t at least try. As Harvey turned back to his desk to scribble down some notes, I spoke up softly as I grabbed my backpack.
"I, uhm," I began nervously. "I hope you don't mind, but... I've brought you something."
Harvey's ears perked up, and he swivelled his chair around to look back at me, a surprised expression on his face.
"Oh? What is it?"
I rummaged around in my backpack, my fingers taking a few seconds to finally grab at a small bottle. I got my words out quickly, my nerves getting the better of me as I pulled out a small bottle of wine.
"Well, a little birdie may have told me that you like your wine. I had some grapes left over last summer from the harvest and I didn't know what to do with the excess so I..."
I presented the bottle to Harvey with a nervous smile. It had a small sticker on it with my handwriting, reading 'For the best doctor in Stardew Valley'.
"... I made you some."
Harvey's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the small bottle of wine in my hand, his smile widening in both delight and astonishment as he reached out and carefully took the bottle. He was touched, not having expected me to make such an effort.
"I'm... this is...." He trailed off as his voice caught in his throat, clearly at a loss for words. After a moment, he cleared his throat and smiled warmly. "You've made my day..."
I chuckled sheepishly as my gaze drifted to the floor, shuffling in my seat at his compliment.
"Nah... it's the least I can do," I insisted. "I'm in here almost weekly, I'm probably taking your attention away from your other patients when I come in."
"Nonsense," Harvey insisted. "This is wonderful. Thank you."
There was a comfortable silence between the two of us, and it took me a moment to snap back into my thoughts as I cleared my throat.
"Right, well... I best be off. Those crops won't water themselves."
I made my way off the bed, pacing quickly to the door. At that moment I remembered what Maru had said again. If I didn't take my chances and ask Harvey about tonight, my window would be closing. I stopped in my tracks and turned around to face him, leaning against the doorway as I tried to be casual.
"So... I heard Mayor Lewis talking about the Flower Dance happening tonight? The one that's happening down near Marnie's Ranch? Are you, uhm... are you gonna go?"
Harvey nodded once, a small knowing smile crossing his lips as I mentioned the dance.
"Yes, I do believe I will be attending. The dance has been a tradition here in town for years. Have you picked out a dance partner?"
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the doctor. "Dance partner?"
Harvey nodded once more. "It's customary for the bachelorettes of the town to have a partner in mind when attending the dance. There's a 'singles only' dance after dinner where you have to pick someone out to dance with. It's meant to symbolise true admiration to be chosen..." Harvey cleared his throat once before continuing on softly. "Not that... I've ever really participated in it."
"You're kidding," I said, leaning against the doorway with my arms folded. "You've never been asked to the dance?"
He shook his head once. "Never. But, y'know..."
His glance drifted to the bottle of wine in his hand, a soft smile growing on his lips as he looked back up at me.
"I still hold out hope."
The implications of his words were not lost on me, and I felt my cheeks start to blush as I smiled down at him.
"I'll... keep that in mind when choosing my partner. See you tonight, Harvey."
"See you then."
With that, I turned on my heels and headed quickly out of his office, flinging my backpack over my shoulder as I raced down the hallway. I had a newfound confidence for the night that couldn't be matched, and I made sure to high-five Maru on my way out the front door for the tidbit on the wine.

Note
Hey again friend.
How about a headcanon of being best friends and a student to smoke 😄😄 please
Tomas Vrbada / Smoke Friendship Headcanons
Tumblr media
Note(s) : I'm still learning how to write about his character, so criticisms are appreciated.
If we're talking Lin Kuei, Tomas is probably the best option for a mentor because he's not as strict and, uh, scary as Bi-Han, and even less serious than Kuai Liang, although that's not hard because he's so responsible.
But, that doesn't mean he'll let you slack off.
Tomas has a schedule, which includes waking up extremely early, most likely 6 AM, getting dressed and having breakfast in the span of a few minutes, you're expected to be at training for at least 7 AM. Then you train until lunch, around 1 PM, which lasts until 2 PM and then you train until dinner, around 6PM.
He expects you, and everybody else who trains under him, to follow that schedule. He can accept a few excuses, injuries making it harder to get dressed, mental issues, maybe you were just really hungry and accidentally spent too long eating, whatever the case, he lets you off with a warning most of the time.
But if it becomes repeated behaviour you're going through more gruelling training for a week, only Bi-Han at that point can get you out of it, and everybody knows he won't.
He retains a friendly and casual relationship outside of your training, inviting you with his brothers to dinner, which is usually less than once a month. They're usually at Madame Bo's or another tea house, and he's usually the one paying.
You both talk while he trains you, mostly about other Lin Kuei members and their performance / behaviours. Smoke won't trash talk, but he will sometimes indulge in gossip. 'Did you hear about the new recruit who tried to fight Bi-Han?' 'They did what?!'
Even when you're fighting with more seriousness, he's still cracking a friendly joke here and there. Probably something about ice, fire, or smoke.
Speaking of, if you don't like puns about smoke, don't even talk to this guy. He somehow knows every pun in existence that even slightly relates to it, Bi-Han and Kuai Liang are so tired of them they both just leave whenever he starts with one.
He adores if you match his energy, you two bounce back with constant puns that you forget training and leave Bi-Han to scold you two.
Tomas already has a strained relationship with Bi-Han, the man doesn't view him as a brother, let alone squeal, even though that's all Smoke wants from him. He doesn't mean to burden you with his issues, but sometimes he might ask 'Do you think I'm deserving of being a Lin Kuei?'
He won't stop being friends with you if Bi-Han doesn't like you, but maybe he will if Kuai doesn't, he looks up to Scorpion and views him as a major influence in life. But, the likelihood of Kuai ever actually telling him he doesn't like you is low, so, you're all good.
Given how the Lin Kuei works, I think you'd also have to train under his brothers or others in the clan once and a while, but mainly under him. He probably has other students to train, and so he's not always free for casual talk or sparring because he has others to mentor.
I'd say, for a guess, he most likely gets at least a day off, if not, breakfast, lunch and dinner is probably a time where he's free to at least go to a restaurant for food with you.
Shirai Ryu Tomas is different. While before he had maybe one day off, now he's always free because of how there's almost no recruits, only Hanzo and a few other kids who didn't have a good situation before the clan formed.
You'd most likely help the younger ones, and maybe have an 'assistant' role when teaching, the training is fairly lighter because they're just kids, but any adults or teens will have the same training as you, with a tighter schedule that you have to help maintain.
He has more free time to just... Hang around basically, he's always inviting you to have food with Kuai or his friends, like Johnny, Syzoth and most other members of the Kast, he's a big fan of helping you out with tasks.
Tomas will enjoy cleaning, for example, he expects you to help him obviously, especially if it's your room or armour he's helping clean. But, he enjoys it because it's productive and he gets to spend time with you.
Smoke also loves when you do things like that for him! Especially cooking, he's not... The best at it, so he appreciates when you make food after a long day of training and doing small missions for Liu Kang.
He doesn't touch the kitchen. Don't make him go near it.
He might try and teach you Czech or Chinese, if you don't know either already, this totally isn't just so when you're in crowded areas you can talk to each other without people listening, what are you talking about?
Although, it took him years to learn Chinese, so he understands if you find it too difficult and don't want to learn, that won't stop him from muttering words under his breath when he's annoyed.
He's not the biggest fan of hugs, don't get me wrong, he absolutely will if you ask him or he needs it, but he doesn't think he's ever been hugged since he was a kid, so it's just a bit unfamiliar.
Smoke likes holding your hand though, not only will you not get lost in crowds, but you can have friendly contact without it being too much for either of you.
Never ask him for relationship advice, if you want a wingman, look the other way. His love life consists of nothing, a barren desert, and he prefers to keep it that way.

can you do a blurb of sidney meeting bee for the first time
ooh i'd love to! i hope you guys like this :)
buttercup's world! au masterlist
sidney couldn't feel his hand.
his baby momma was in labour and in the process of turning his hand into mush. he didn't even know it was possible to grip something that tight, but of course, pain made people much stronger than they were sometimes.
and giving birth was not an easy process.
he'd been in the delivery room for a few hours, driving the child of his mother here the second she called to let him know her water broke. her parents weren't in contact with her, but sidney's parents were waiting at home. waiting for sidney to call and tell them their grandchild was here.
"i can't do this, i - i don't want to do this," she cried, shaking her head.
"you're so close, just one more push, come on," the doctor encouraged her. "you got this, one big push."
sidney smoothed her hair back, "hey, you're so close. it's almost over, i promise. just one more, and then the baby's going to be here."
sidney and his baby mom weren't in a relationship, they hadn't been in one for months now. their relationship itself was pretty short-lived, but sidney knew she was in pain and she didn't to be alone right now.
considering it was kind because of him she was here, he knew the least he could do was be there for in whatever way she needed. and right now, she needed someone there for her emotionally.
so that's what he was going to do.
"it's almost over," she repeated, nodding her head slightly.
at the doctor's cue, she took a deep breath, pushing once again. sidney wrapped his other hand around the one that was crushing one of his, encouraging her.
at the sound of a small cry, he gasped, turning his head to see the doctors and nurses holding a small baby. before he even understood what was happening, the nurses wiped the infant, rubbing quickly.
the baby's cries grew louder, a part of sidney breaking at that sound. but then the umbilical cord was cut, and the baby was placed on mom, a blanket over them both.
"congratulations," one of the doctors said to sidney. "it's a girl. let's give mom and baby a few minutes, i need you to fill out a few forms first."
sidney nodded numbly, his brain moving a little slower than he was used to. he just saw his daughter being born, she was right there. he was a dad, he was her dad.
somehow, sidney found himself in an office, a few forms in front of him.
"what's this?" he asked.
"well, mom told us you were giving up parental rights and were simply going to pay child support," doctor started. "since that was decided before birth, we need you to fill these out immediately after birth. that way, you can avoid complications later on."
sidney stared at the papers, realizing how close he was to just... giving up the right to having his daughter. a simple signature, he'd signed lots of things before, and he'd never have to worry about her. nothing beyond the money he'd be giving away monthly.
but for some reason, the pen felt incredibly heavy.
sidney looked up at the doctor, "is there any way we can put this off for now? i just - i mean, i just had my kid. i want, i want some time to think this over."
the doctor nodded, "you can choose to do this at any time. doing it right now would simply be the most effective and simple way. you can do it later, but be ready for a longer legal process."
"thanks doctor."
sidney made his way back to the room where mom and the baby were, finding mom half asleep and the baby in the crib.
he made his way over, peering inside and finding a small bundle, wrapped in a pink blanket and a matching little hat. her eyes were closed, long lashes leaning against her cheeks as she slept soundly.
she was perfect.
"you can hold her, you know?" the nurse spoke to sidney. "do you need help?"
"thanks, i'm - i can hold her," he assured her. he had a little sister, he had younger cousins.
he didn't remember being this nervous to hold them.
were they this small as well?
reaching into the crib, sidney took the little girl into his arms, her head fitting perfectly in the crook of his elbow. she scrunched up in the blanket, causing sidney's eyes to widen.
"shh, it's okay my princess," he whispered softly, rocking her in his arms. "i've got you. daddy's got you. you're okay, my love."
slowly, she relaxed in his arms, comforted by the sound of his voice. sidney smiled a little, continuing to talk, letting his baby know that she was safe, and that she'd always have someone to love her.
slowly, she cracked an eye open, and then another, looking up at her dad for the first time.
sidney froze in his tracks, feeling like he'd just been sucker punched. her big hazel eyes matched his perfectly, her hand wriggling under the blanket to try and get free.
sidney took that hand out, tearing up a little as she wrapped her tiny hands around his finger, squeezing tightly as if asking him to stay. sidney pressed a kiss to her hand, tucking it back in the blanket and rocking her.
she yawned, blinking a few times, before turning her head towards sidney and closing her eyes once again.
he took a seat on the couch, overwhelmed by everything that had just happened. he pressed a soft kiss to his little girl's forehead, knowing one thing for sure.
he wasn't going to leave her.

SHANKS X SUICIDAL M!MARINE READER♡♧♡ part 3
Part 1 part 2
..............................................................................................
Warning ⚠️: Drinking, slight making out, pure fluff
Summary: You've finally broken free from your mental chains, and you've grown a lot braver then Shanks remembered.
Author note: i don't know how to feel about this one, I did have another idea where the readers dad trys to take reader back but I wasn't sure how to go with that so I wrote this sweet tooth breaking story. I deeply apologize if this wasn't what your guys wanted 😔
...............................................
It's been a couple of months since you've been on Shanks crew. The frist few days were hard to get use to. You weren't use to a relaxing pirate life, the random partying, the songs, the freedom. Benn, who you had grown close to since Shanks asked him to take you under his wing till you get use to everything, was always so patent with you. He took time to understand your mind and how it was arranged and bundled up, and so he helped unwind those bundles till you were comfortable enough to work on your own.
You climb the ladder fast in the shadow from marines and in the light of the crew, wanting to help the man who gave you your wings of freedom, to help with anything your body can handle. You trained, fought, drank with them and most importantly you learned from them. You were still a weapon, but you were your own weapon now, using yourself for your happiness, and your captains.
You were docked on an island on the beach having partied the night before. You fell asleep on a log and woke up to a crew mates yelling of excitement.
"Hey guys! Our little boy got his first bounty!" Shanks sat up with a headach, rubbing his forehead "What?" The crew mate held a bounty poster in front of Shanks and on the bounty was you, with a good old starting bounty of a 100 million. Your picture was one caught mid battle of you fighting someone, you looked menacing to say the least, your E/C trained on something else like a sinper with you weapon of choice held in your hand mid strike.
Shanks took the bounty and laughed "What a frist bounty. You see this Y/N?" You stood next to Shanks and looked at your bounty, you've seen many bountys as a marine, never once did you imagine yourself on one. You felt... proud. Shanks patted you on the head "Way to go!" You couldn't help but blush slightly at the praise, even if it was small. "Bet you the marines are pissing their pants over this one, we got their own turning against them" Said Lucky giving you a few good slaps on the back. "Not bad kid" said Benn gently patting your head. "This calls for a celebration!" Yelled Shanks. "We just had party last night, you're hungover Captain" you say looking at him "Ah, who cares, get the drinks!"
A few hours later
You decide to go back on the ship, to give your poor ears a break from the loud party, you leaned on the other side of the ship where the others couldn't see your flushed cheeks, half drunk. You held your favorite drink in hand, you managed to grab the last of what was left. You happily sip the drink savoring the last of what's left. You hear footsteps approaching from behide, you turn to find your red faced captain walking over and tossed his one arm around your shoulder "Hey little one, what're you hiding here for, praty is on the other side!" You chuckled. "You guys know I'm not a child, right?" "You will always be our little guy" Shanks ruffled your hair and you swatted it away. Shanks eyed your drink and grabbed it without warning and and took it all in one go with a smirk. You glare at him for stealing what was the last of your favorite drink, you wouldn't be able to get more till the next island, if they even have it that is. Without thinking you grabbed his collar and pulled him to your height, connecting your lips, evading his mouth with your tongue in search of your drink, a few drops flow down your chin as you steal back your drink. After a few seconds you pulled back and wiped your mouth and leaned on your back against the ships railings. "..." As you finally realized what you had done your hesitantly looked at your captain.
Shanks touched his lips, wiping them with his thumb and smirked "Oh? clearly you're not the same little mouse I asked to join this crew." He pulled you closer to him with his hand around your waist. "You're lucky I really like you... wait was that your frist kiss?" Shanks asked as he looked at you, he remembered how you were raised and that you most likely never tried any romantic acts with anyone before. "That wasn't a kiss... I was just taking back my drink" "That was your frist kiss" "...yes" "...your sure? Didn't feel like a frist kiss to me" "I'll take that as a compliment... wait you like me?" "How could I not? With you following me around for the frist week like a duckling, I got to know you and I got to watch your grow into someone that fits you. As much as i look like someone who doesn't pay attention, I do, I know how you watch my back when we go out, how protective you are of me and Benn. It's cute. It's something small and don't really need but it's nice" Shanks smiled at you, closing his eyes as he placed his forehead against yours. "It all makes me just want to hold you close. Everyone one on the crew has a dream or job. But your still discovering yours but it feels nice to think that your job is to keep everyone safe." "I want that to be my job... keeping you and everyone safe. Its what makes me happy" You say as you looked at him, wrapping your arms around him and holding him close "and... it makes me feel safe too..." "...I'm glad to hear that" Shanks hugs you back, holding you close. You both stood there in silence, enjoying each other's company.
"So about that kiss" You both chuckled and you hit his chest playfully "Shut it" Shanks kissed your forehead "You know I won't let you go now?" "That's perfectly ok with me, as long as it's you.." Shanks kissed your right above your ear before whispering to you "How about continue that kiss in my room?" "Whatever the captain wants" You whisper back as your wrap your arms around his neck as he picked you up with his arm, taking you too his private room.
Extra
The day after the party.
Benn rubbed his head and went looking for his captain. He had a job to do and things to look over, and he knew dame well his captain was gonna try and avoid it. Benn held a few pain killers in his hand with a glass of water for Shanks since he knew he most likely had big hangover. He didn't bother knocking as he opened the door and walked in "Shanks its time to-" Benn stopped dead in his tracks as the scene unfolds before him. Y/N laying on top of Shanks, both clearly naked underneath the blanket, y/n's head layed on Shanks's chest comfortably, Shanks arm wrapped around Y/N's waist. As realization dawned on him he grioned, he owes Yasopp so much money...

The Sun Also Smiles - Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Chapters - [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
Summary - With Mabel and Dipper's 16th birthday party on the horizon, Grunkle Stan takes to online dating to find a date for the party. Things start to get real weird real fast.
Word Count - 3,035
Pairing(s) - Stan Pines x OC
Genre(s): Romance, Comedy, Mystery
A/N: There is a bit of verbal sexual harassment in this chapter! So please tread lightly if that's something you're sensitive to!
~~~~~~~~
"S-Solanaaaaaa! H-Heeyyyyy," Stan said nervously, avoiding eye contact with her completely. He was looking at every single spot but her eyes or her boobs, er, her body. Fuck.
"Wow. You really are a shy old guy," she giggled, covering her mouth a little. "This is why I didn't want to meet you so soon. I knew that you would start treating me differently immediately."
"N-No! I'm not!" Stan said quickly, looking into her eyes instantly when he spoke. "I just wasn't...expectin to...see ya so soon."
"Ah, so you weren't being a creepy stalker and this is just pure happenstance?" She joked, folding her arms across her chest which made the cleavage in the keyhole of her shirt push up.
Stan's eyes trailed down to her chest then swiftly back up at her face. "Yeah, exactly! Nothin crazy like that. My niece wanted to come here for uh...reasons that aren't important right now."
While Stan was talking, Solana was twirling her hair around her right index finger, which, again, pushed her boobs up into the keyhole even further. She was enthralled by how stacked Stan was in person. He looked like he worked out more than just a couple times a month. His stature was thick but tall of course. Couldn't have been shorter than 6'2. For an older man, that was certainly impressive.
A laugh suddenly came from Stan. "Who's the one eye fuckin who now?" he laughed once more.
Solana shot him a smirk before licking her lips subtly. "Look, I never said I was above doing it," she responded with a light shrug of her shoulders. "You certainly are sexy though. Pictures don't and never will do you justice. And the gold chain? Ooh," she shuddered before giggling.
Stan's entire face was red now. He didn't think she'd be so straightforward in person but she definitely did match his energy at least. He clenched his cane to keep himself tethered to what little bit of sanity he even had left from years of bullshit. She was so very beautiful so-
"Why are ya...so..."
"So...what?"
"Avoidant about bein seen?" he asked curiously.
"I told you. People start to treat me differently when they see me," she said, shrugging slightly.
"Why?" He was so confused about this entire concept. "Isn't it a good thing for a dame like you to get all the attention?"
"No. It's...different. Very different," she replied, a sad tinge to her tone.
Just as Stan was about to ask her another question, Mabel and Maze came shuffling over to him to show him a basket of treasures they found in the store so far.
"Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Stan!" Mabel squealed happily as she practically vibrated out of her skin. "Look, look!" she said, holding the shopping basket up to him.
"Those little trinkets are 50% off to the cutest kid in the store," Solana said matter of factly to Mabel with a genuine smile.
Mabel stopped in her tracks and slowly turned to look at Solana. "Shut...UP!!!!" She screamed excitedly, jumping now. "That's definitely me!!"
"We're literally twins," Maze chimed in, rolling his eyes.
"Fraternal!" Mabel reminded with a cheeky grin, twisting her index finger into her cheek.
"Well 50% off to everyone who's a twin!" Solana laughed.
"Hey, I'm a twin. Does that mean I get the discount too?" Stan chuckled.
"Hmm...I'm gonna need proof of that statement," she said as she squinted at Stan, not truly believing him.
"Hold on!" Mabel said as she pulled out her phone and started looking through her massive collection of pictures. Selfies specifically. She scrolled furiously until she found a selfie with her, Maze, Ford, and Stan. She showed Solana the picture and Solana bent down slightly to look at the screen.
"Oooh, okay. He wasn't lying. Two identically handsome men. Interesting," Solana mused with a purse of her lips as she peeked at Stan out the corner of her eye briefly. "Discounts across the board then!" She nodded and turned to the twins to get a good look at them.
"You two are actually adorable. Like actually," Solana complimented.
"Thank yooouuuuu!" Mabel said gratefully. Meanwhile, Maze was hiding behind his hair, blushing furiously. Mabel nudged him. "Say thank you," she grumbled to him quietly.
"T-Thank you," he murmured shyly as he shoved his hands into his pockets so he couldn't fidget anymore.
"Uh, kids. Are you done shoppin or do ya need more?" Stan asked them. He really just wanted to be alone with Solana for a moment longer.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Mabel droned as she leaned her head back to think.
"You seem like the type of girl to enjoy a good mini cat figurine," Solana surmised. "Am I right?"
Mabel looked up at Solana with big eyes. "Yes..." She said in a serious tone that showed just how excited she was.
"Aisle 21." Solana gave her a sweet smile as Mabel grabbed Maze and drug him over to the exact aisle that was mentioned.
Stan was impressed with how well she handled the kids. She was so motherly and kind. His heart started racing at the thought of her genuinely being interested in him. Her motherly tendencies did something for him. Did he have mommy issues? Fuck.
"You think a lot, don't you?" Solana asked, breaking Stan's train of thought. "Allow me to remedy that," she cooed as she walked closer to him. "May I?" She motioned with her hands that she was asking to touch him.
He couldn't do anything but freeze in place once she moved closer. "Y-Yeah," he stammered, nodding quickly.
Solana smiled at him then stretched up onto her tippy toes to place a kiss at the corner of his mouth, leaving behind a bit of the lip gloss she had on. "Better?" she asked.
Stan had a love stricken expression written plain as day across his face when he processed the kiss. "Yeah. Better," he said in a dreamy voice.
"You're so cute," Solana chuckled. "Haven't you been married before?"
"Nah, I...I got dangerously close but it didn't pan out. It's fine though," Stan said, brushing it off. He didn't want to talk to his new flame about his old flames. Felt weird.
"Something tells me it isn't fine but I'll let it be. For now." She turned to the mess on the ground behind them and began to pick the stuff up. She crouched down and put everything back on the lower shelves from where they fell, humming as she did so.
Stan looked around, not knowing what to do or say to her at this point. He was going to speak but a voice boomed through the store. He groaned in frustration at being interrupted for the millionth time with her.
"Solana!" the voice yelled. "Where are you?"
She sighed and murmured under her breath before standing back up and flattening out her clothes. "Yes, Chip?" she called out, walking past Stan to the end of the aisle where she knew he was going to be.
A lanky, lightly tanned man with perfectly coiffed hair and a pair of black sunglasses walked up to Solana. Even though he had the sunglasses on, you can still tell he was looking at her in a way that would make anyone, woman or not, uncomfortable as hell.
"You look good today," he said with a shit eating grin. "Loving the new and improved uniform on you. What you did with it is so...mmm! You know?" he said to her quietly.
"Chip, I don't have time for you right now. I have a store to run. Your store. You know. The one you opened?" She said as she rolled her eyes at him. "Why are you even here today? You come in on Sundays and Wednesdays. It's literally Saturday."
"I gotta be honest. I wanted to see you," he said, holding his hands up in defense, still smiling that stupid smile.
"Well good for you because I definitely don't want to see you," She said as she turned to walk away from him before he grabbed her arm. Almost immediately, Stan was standing between the two of them, towering over Chip and facing him.
"The lady said she doesn't wanna be bothered. Ya better leave 'er alone or I'll have to intervene," Stan said, standing directly in front of Solana to protect her from even being looked at by that disgusting...
"And who are you?" Chip asked, looking up at Stan, never once dropping that smile.
"He's my boyfriend and he doesn't take lightly to someone touching me," Solana said quickly.
Stan faltered slightly, not expecting her to say that so freely. He immediately regained his composure and looked at Chip sternly, his eyebrows flat, mouth set in a hard line. He wasn't about to show weakness to this...this dickhead.
"Boyfriend? You never mentioned that," Chip said, adjusting his glasses. "Kinda old."
"She doesn't have to," Stan said curtly, cutting him off and leaving no room for ifs, ands, or buts about it. "Leave."
Chip tried to peek around Stan's large shoulders to see Solana but Stan blocked every advance he tried to make.
"I said, leave," he said in a much more firm tone as he leaned down closer to Chip's face.
Chip threw his hands up in defeat. "This is my store after all. I'll definitely be back. Don't you worry about it." He kept that same smile on his face as he turned and left the store. He hopped into his sports car, started it up, and drove away at a blinding speed.
Solana was breathing heavily behind Stan, starting to have a bit of an anxiety attack. Stan swiveled around on his heels to meet her face to face.
"You okay?" he asked in a concerned voice. He didn't know how to deal with his own anxiety let alone someone else's.
"Yeah, I..." She said as she looked down at her clothes in disgust. It was very obvious that Chip had a hand in how she dressed at this job. It was awful for her.
"Are the kids ready to check out?" She chirped, trying to change the subject.
"Solana-" Stan started.
"Don't worry about it. I'm fine," she said firmly. "It's fine. I'm fine. Everything's fucking fine!" she snapped before adjusting her clothes and walking off.
Stan stood there in disbelief. He didn't think negatively about her. In fact, he felt an insatiable urge to protect her. Protect her from this creep, protect her from all men, from everything. Of course he ogled her when he first saw her but he reigned it in the moment he felt that twinge of loyalty to Solana before he knew it was her. He didn't want to be like Chip. He wanted to treat her nicely and treat her the way a beautiful woman like her deserved to be treated.
After gathering himself and flattening his suit coat, Stan walked out of the aisle to go find the kids only to find Solana checking them out at an impressive speed. He walked over to them slowly in silence, not wanting to disturb the flow.
"Grunkle Stan, Miss Solana is giving us so many discounts! I got sooooo many mini cat figurines. She was right. I do love a good mini cat figurine," Mabel rambled excitedly.
Solana was avoiding eye contact with everyone, especially Stan. She couldn't stand to see what he thought of her after that.
"So we're having a grand opening sale for 20% off of most things and then I'm giving you my employee discount of 30% which means you're getting everything half off," Solana explained as she started bagging everything up since she was done scanning. "So your total is $615.03."
Mabel and Maze froze in their places at the mention of that number. They slowly turned to look at Stan who looked completely disinterested in whatever was being said. He was focused on Solana and how avoidant she was being. Maybe she was doing it in front of the kids for their sake but he knew it wasn't that.
Stan pulled his wallet out and opened it to grab a stack of money. He whipped out a couple of hundreds plus a few more smaller bills to cover the price. He handed it all to Solana who took it without hesitation and put it into the register.
Solana handed the bags to the kids and smiled at them. "I hope you have an amazing time creating whatever it is you're creating. I hope to see it floating around the town one day if possible."
Mabel cheesed hard at Solana's words. "Thank yooouuuu!" she said loudly as she grabbed two bags and left the other three for Maze and Stan to take. Maze, being the good brother and nephew he was, took two of the heaviest bags to spare Stan from hurting himself. Or so he thought that's what he was doing.
"Kids, I'll meet you at the car," Stan said calmly, looking directly at Solana who was still avoiding his eye line.
"O...kay?" Maze said as he looked between the both of them then walked off with Mabel towards the entrance of the store. "What the heck was that about?" he murmured to her quietly, making sure neither Stan or Solana heard him.
Stan placed his hands flat on the register table they were at, his eyes never leaving Solana. She fidgeted so incessantly that it made him feel weird for even looking at her.
"I'm sorry," Stan said simply.
"For what? You didn't do anything wrong," she responded, tucking hair behind her ear as she spoke, still not looking at him.
"The way you're actin got me feelin like I did. I'm sorry for interferin."
Solana sighed and looked at Stan finally. "It's not that. I feel..." She groaned slightly. "Disgusting. This is exactly why I didn't want to meet you in person. Yet. I always have interactions like this with men specifically."
"Why?" Stan asked curiously.
"I don't know. I genuinely don't know. It's..." She laughed bitterly and shook her head. "At least you did it in your head and not outright."
Stan's face heated up. He wished he never did that in the first place and she brought it back up again. "I'm sorry about that too. But you know what's funny?"
"What?"
"I stopped cuz I felt this...connection to ya last night and I felt like I was...bein disloyal in this...'talking stage'? Or whatever my niece called it," he admitted, grumbling at the end.
Solana's heart melted at Stan's admission. She smiled at him and reached over to place her hand on top of his. She squeezed it thoughtfully. "Yeah?" She asked with a crooked smile.
His eyes briefly dropped down to their hands touching. "Yeah," he confirmed, leaning forward towards her a bit.
"I mean I should have expected this much from my boyfriend," she teased while giggling.
Stan laughed at her bringing her own words back up. "That...That got me when you said it. I thought I was goin insane when I heard it."
"No, not at all. I wouldn't mind it becoming reality one day," she paused. "Soon." Her eyes dropped to his lips for but a moment but he caught the gesture almost immediately.
"May I?" he asked, echoing her from before things went haywire. His own eyes were wandering over the features of her face. He couldn't help it. Her beauty rivaled even the mermaids he saw on his voyage with Ford.
"Such a gentleman for asking," she cooed. "Of course," she allowed.
He leaned down to Solana until their lips finally met. Their eyes closed immediately to truly lose themselves in the kiss. She squeezed his hand tightly, showing that she was restraining herself from doing much more than a simple kiss. She couldn't help herself and deepened the kiss a little more before Stan politely pulled away from her lips slightly.
"I'd be willin to continue this somewhere private if I wasn't babysittin right now," he whispered against her lips before kissing her a few more times.
Solana hummed into the subsequent kisses, her eyelashes fluttering at the same time. "Got any free time tonight?" She asked boldly, trying to catch her lips between every word she spoke.
"I might. I'll text ya and let ya know. Sound good?"
"Yeah. Sounds good," she said in a hurried tone.
Stan gave her a few more kisses before pulling away completely and fixing his clothes.
Mabel and Maze were standing outside Stan's car with their jaws dropped to the ground. Mabel dropped her bags. They slowly looked at each other in complete shock. They saw the entire encounter.
"Did Grunkle Stan just..." Mabel asked.
"He did..." Maze responded.
"Here he comes, here he comes! Act natural!" Mabel said quickly and quietly. She scrambled to pick up the bags.
When the doors opened, Stan walked through them and looked at the twins in confusion.
"The car was open," he said to them slowly, not completely sure why they were still standing and waiting.
"Oh! hahahaha!" Mabel laughed awkwardly as she scrambled into the car. She didn't really give much more of an answer than that, leaving Maze to pick up the pieces instead. Maze looked at Mabel with an expression that disapproved of her immediate betrayal.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Maze said before he suddenly retreated and got into the backseat with Mabel.
"I thought you wanted to sit in the front, kid?" Stan said as he approached the driver's side and opened the door to get in.
"Naaahhhhh. I decided I wanna sit with Mabel," Maze said quickly with a nod.
"Gotcha," Stan said as he got in and closed the door. He pulled out his keys then started the car up.
"Your old grunkle got a date tonight. So I want you two to take care of each other and Sixer while I'm gone for the night," Stan said as he put the car in reverse and turned around to back out of the spot.
The twins sat in their seats, frozen. A date? They thought to themselves.
