how can i go on knowing that i'll never hear regulus's quiet, calm little reasoning for why his airy open-floor apartment is packed with antiques (he likes to give second chances to old, beautiful pieces that have been discarded or overlooked), and hear him laugh when the interviewer points out that his gigantic dining table only has three chairs set ("i don't have many guests!!"), while james meanders around the background (juicing oranges in the kitchen) only to maybe occasionally pop into frame to sling an arm around regulus's waist and affectionately joke about how reggie regards his imported marble with UTMOST SERIOUSNESS

I know a lot of people think I'm crazy when I mention all of my serendipitous things with The X-Files but...

I was watching the episode, Deep Throat one day and they did a close up of David Duchovny's eye and I blurted out, "Hey that's my eye color!" Both David and I have blue based hazel eyes and I have never in all my years seen anyone else who has the exact same color and pattern we do.

My birthday is also directly in between David's (August 7th) and Gillian's (August 9th). I'm August 8th. Then there's the fact that my real first name and initials are the exact same as Nick Lea's partner.

I know someone reading this is making a side eye face but, I always think about these little details and some how I feel it directly correlates with my love of The X-Files. Even though I've loved the show since I was a kid when it first aired.

How do you think the rest of the Beanbean kingdom would react to finding out Fawful has a lover? And that the lover is the absolute sweetest person ever

I've thought about this before, haha. Okay, so first off it's important to remember not everything about Jolli is what meets the eye. He... HAS A STREAK, OKAY. It's not all sweetheart energy, LOL. He and Fawful get along as well as they do FOR A REASON. But out of the two of them? Jolli is absolutely the kinder and more empathetic one for sure. He has QUITE the soft heart beneath his otherwise villainous exterior.

BUT GETTING TO THE QUESTION-

I gotta wonder how exactly the citizens of Beanbean would remember Fawful in the first place - as in like... in what WAY would they remember him? Do they know about everything that went down in the Mushroom Kingdom during BIS or is Fawful moreso recalled as the weird little lackey that followed the more powerful (and well known) Cackletta around during the events of SSS? That's another thing I wonder about and I suppose it would depend on which bean you asked about him.

I think the general reaction would be more "THAT GUY IS ALIVE?!!" before shock over him having a lover, LOL. But AFTER THE REALITY SETS IN... I think the secondary reaction would be disgust, ngl.

The NPCs who mention Fawful in the game don't describe him kindly. I'd wager to guess he's considered fairly strange/unattractive looking by Beanish standards based on that and given that his past actions on top of that were so horrible, my best guess would be ... yup, gross out moment. LOL.

NOBODY WANTS TO IMAGINE THAT GUY KISSING- (over there, anyway. we're not talking about me. i want to see that. i want to kiss him.)

I think my favorite fact about Chongyun is the fact he prefers Inazuman cuisine over Liyue's.

My question is, while now, way after the fact it's not a problem, but I have to wonder if he had to make due with Liyuen food during the vision hunt decree/nation lockdown or if special circumstances were extended to him during that time. Cause Chongyun canonically has the food imported, but how much of it at a time? Does he stock up for months and ration the supplies?

They probably had to, especially with a literal war in Inazuma going on. I don't think Chongyun would be so selfish as to try and import food during a time of crisis, so my guess is he rationed his current stock and mixed it with Liyuen ingredients, or he made do without for that whole period.

So when Inazuma was opened again, Chongyun probably immediately went on a spending spree and dropped thousands of mora on food.

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.

I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.

the men are innocent too. the men and boys are being hurt and killed too. the men and boys are grieving too. the men and boys are scared too. the men and boys are fighting to save their people too. the men and boys deserve to be fought for too.
