Getting looser with lineart and better at colour schemes and simplifying shading. Is good actually.#It's so much easier to eyeball what a colour would look like in a setting instead of colourpicking the OG palette and struggling with...#...like 9 overlay and multiply and soft/hard light layers #Approximating colour genuinely looks better than forcing local colour into the piece. As long as the values are still there it works out #comic

zedaph!!! coloured pencil n fineliner :D ngl i rly struggled w getting a photo of this one .. i ended up scanning it but i think it washed out a lot of the pencil detail n ended up looking like i deep fried it lmao. u will all just have to trust me when i say this looks better irl

yippee my froggy poster I made for my mom is done finally ^-^

I'll put some rambling and alternates under the cut as always :D

firstly, this year I wanted to make a poster with one of my mom's favourite animals, which is a frog, and figured froggy song by derivakat would go so nicely with it ^-^

and right from the jump I knew I wanted to have the background be a split scene with one half being like a are with lily pads and I decided that the other half would be a lil mushroom forest with the froggy's home ^-^

I think the colours I used look very nice and I think the rendering I did definitely turned out really well ^-^ overall it took me just over 38hrs to finish this bad boy hehe
