*Chan Calling You Clingy*
Genre: Angst/Fluff
Pairing: Bangchan x Reader (GN)
Warnings: none? I mean arguing and cursing? Not proof read
The way this one sounds like it could be real hurts me even more not gonna lie
This is part of a series Find the other members here:
Bangchan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, Jeongin
-🩵
Your boyfriend and you had just arrived in Australia. He had brought you to spend sometime with him and his family. It wasn’t often that he had time to himself it was almost unheard of though that he had time to be able to visit his home and family. This was not the first time you had met his family. You and Chan had been dating for a few years now. They treated you like family and you were comfortable around them. Chan was able to get 4 whole days here with his family and it made you so very happy to see him be able to spend time with them.
You followed him around a lot while you were there, although you were comfortable around his family it still made you nervous to be without Chan. His sister who was out in the US with friends had told you about a good food spot there that she said “you totally had to eat at before leaving.”
You asked Chan about it when you got there and he told you “you guys would stop there at some point.” The time was winding down really wanting to stop by you asked him again. He just basically sighed “babe we will” his voice low. He sounded grumpy for some reason you stared at him for a second before asking him what was wrong. He rolled his eyes “nothing y/n” he said getting up to grab his drink. He’s seemed irritated all day today and you don’t know what was wrong. Did you do something? Did someone say something?
You didn’t wanna press, you laid your head on his shoulder only for him to move it making you move your head. You looked confused offended even. What was his problem? Why the fuck won’t he talk to you about it. He looked at you “can you just leave me alone” he hissed. He got up walking to his window to look outside. His mom and dad had went to the store quick to grab a few things for lunch.
“Channie what’s wrong?” You ask voice cracking a bit. “Y/n please” he said in almost a growl. You could feel he was angry but why? It was eating away at you before you kept at it “babe talk to me? What’s wrong? Did I do something?” You asked walking towards him. He spun around “y/n what part of leave me alone don’t you get? You’ve been so clingy the whole damn time I feel like I haven’t even had a chance to spend with my family. Can you just leave me alone!” He spat out his words running together.
He’s never raised his voice at you let alone yet at you like this. You could feel your eyes weld up with tears and you nod “fine I’ll leave you alone” you said before grabbing your bag heading out the front door. You walked to the park chan and you would frequently would go to. You went to play some music to calm you down a bit realizing you forgot your phone at the house. You sat there thinking you should go back for it deciding not to. Not wanting to see Chans dumb cute face right now.
You sat in one of the swings wiping your tears away. You sat there calming yourself down for a bit before going to a spot you two had dubbed as “your spot” it was a small spot covered by trees nice and shady. You laid down underneath it your mind just racing. Thinking about how you’ve been lately. You had kinda clung to him a lot while down here, feeling awkward a bit still not wanting to be alone at his house with his parents yet.
Chan had cooled down a bit he was about to text you but his parents came home. He went to help bring in groceries helping his mom put them away. “Y/n go for a walk?” His mom asked grabbing a pan out of the drawer. He tilted his head a bit as she continued “we saw he walking towards the playground you guys go to all the time.” He breathed out a bit and just nodded not wanting to get into what happened.
He headed back to his room to grab his phone to text you to come back for dinner.
Chan ran, he ran as fast as he could. All the horrible scenarios raced through his head. He felt the tears building up as he ran. As he finally got to the park he frantically looked for you. God where were you! He couldn’t find you, his heart sank fearing the worst. Before remembering the little place you guys had a picnic here under the trees.
He raced to the spot his eyes widened as he saw you lying under it. He felt at ease a bit finally finding you. You had fallen asleep under the trees you looked so pretty but yet so sad with puffy eyes and tear stained cheeks.
He softly rubbed your shoulder trying not to scare you awake. “Babe wake up” he said softly. Your eyes fluttered awake bringing your hand up to wipe at them. Trying to focus your eyes and wake yourself up you stared up only to be met with Chans gaze. You sat up looking around forgetting you had come to the park “did I fall asleep” you asked rubbing your head.
Chan almost full on tackled you wrapping his arms around you pulling you to him. “Y/n I’m so sorry for what I said to you” he said burring his face into your shoulder. “I brought you here to spend time with me and my family and all I did was be an asshole.” He said his voice sounded so sad, cracking in parts. He sniffled as he tried to choke back his tears “I shouldn’t have lashed out at you, I’m just sad we have to leave. It’s so hard for me to leave.” He stuttered “I hate that I only get to visit so little. I want to spend more than a few measly days with my family you know? It’s all I ever get. The others get to see their families why can’t I”
At this point he was sobbing into the crook of your neck. You’ve never really seen him cry it’s normally only a few tears before he pushes it away. He doesn’t show this side very often not wanted to seem weak. But here he was crying so hard on your shoulder.
You rubbed the back of his head as you let him cry it out. He started to calm down a bit “Chan I’m sorry if I took away time with your family.” You said still rubbing the back of his head. He shook it no “no no don’t say that you’re part of our family now. I’m sorry for the way I acted you didn’t deserve that.” He pulled away from you wanting to look at your face. He places a hand on the side of your face as he rubbed your cheek with his thumb. “You aren’t clingy by the way, I just said it while I was mad. I know it won’t take away the hurt but please don’t make it make you pull away. I love how you are and I’d never change anything about you.”
His eyes searched your face only to be met with a small stream of tears “I just don’t wanna be to clingy to the point I push you away either.” You said through tears. “You won’t I promise you. I promise you my love. You will never push me away. You’re stuck with me remember?” He said tapping his finger at the promise ring he got you a few months ago “I’m not going anywhere.” He said before pulling you into him. “I love you angel” he said kissing your cheek. “And I love you too” you said whipping away the tears.
He helped you up giving you a big long hug before heading home to the delicious lay out of food his parent had just got done preparing. You headed to the bedroom to find your phone with all his messages. “Babe I’m sorry I never responded to you. I left my phone here” you said with puppy dog eyes looking at him. “It’s ok my love, I’m just happy you’re safe.”

Im here to make a request my friend 😌
Idk if you do angst or not but ill request anyway, if you dont write angst then thats fine! You can ignore this!
So, how about a little thing where fem reader is dating Hyunjin but she spends so much time with Felix that Jinnie starts to think that she's cheating on him. He confronts Felix and they get into a fight....
(But then later he finds out that they're cousins or siblings or something and gets super embarrassed)
Take your time and feel free to ignore!!<3
Ooooooo I'll try! But be aware that this is my first time writing on Tumblr so this might not be as good as other stories :) (and I need feedback pls)
Angry
Hyunjin x f!reader x fam member!Felix
CW: cuss words, angst-ish, established relationship, kissing (lmk if I missed smth)
Summary: You started to spend much time with Felix, your cousin and childhood best friend, which made your boyfriend Hyunjin think you're cheating on him.
Two months.
Two months of "and then Felix said..." "Felix and I..." "Look, me and Felix..." And it was really getting to Hyunjin. Who was that Felix you were always talking about - more so, how was he connected to you? You never mentioned having an Aussie friend or Family from Australia, so he must be... No, you wouldn't do that. You wouldn't cheat on him. Right?
Upon arriving home, he finds you're alone, lying on the couch and rewatching some kid's movies. "Hey love" he greets, bending over the headrest of the couch and giving you a peck on the head. "Hey babe" you say back, simultaneously struggling to get out of the burrito you turned yourself into with the blanket to greet him properly. Having successfully gotten the blanket off you, you go to hug him. He did hug back, but it felt like it's forced. "Please don't hug me." He spoke, and it confused you. Had you done something wrong? Was there something bothering him? "Is... Is something wrong?" You ask, backing off.
For a moment, he contemplates if he should tell you. Thinking of the right words to express what exactly he means, because sometimes you guys got into stupid arguments over misunderstandings and he wanted you to get his point, he told:
"I think so, yes. You spent so much time with that Felix dude and I feel like you forgot me! Like, I'm your boyfriend, you're supposed to spend your time with me and not some other dude! And I tried to be patient with you but It really pisses me off! It's been two months! Eight weeks! And in those weeks I had you to myself like 3 hours each day, sleeping excluded! I fucking miss you and you're just out and about with some stupid hookup you failed to hide!"
With each word, he turned more and more angry. I mean, could he be blamed? He kept it all to himself, all the frustration about rarely ever seeing you, the frustration and jealousy of you always talking about that other boy, the sadness that you seemingly forgot about you guys relationship.
You were surprised by his mad attack. Had you really failed to tell him that Felix was someone you grew up with? Oh right, you hadn't even told him you'd lived in Australia.
"Listen, Hyunjin I can expl-"
"NO! You're just some damn whore! Am I not enough??" And with that, he stormed off.
When he came back, first thing he did was apologize. "I'm sorry my love, I really just thought Felix was a fling you had or something.." "It's okay Jinnie, I get it. Just let me explain next time, yeah?" He hummed in response and looked at you with puppy eyes, which meant he wanted hugs and/or kisses, and you were happy to give him both. "Now, let's get those cupcakes and their frosting going, shall we?"

Stray kids fan fic
Mainly staring 3ratcha
But the other boys do make appearances it's just easy to keep to minimum of characters lol
Chan x oc
This is my first ever fan fiction so if it's shit soz.
He's gonna be here in like 20 minutes, so I'm cleaning up my room. Well shoving things into my wardrobe, but that's practically the same thing. I get dressed in some comfy clothes, and organise all my character work and script work on the table. I have a lot of thoughts about Tabby and her story. She's allowed me to tap into something more confident and almost powerful. I need to be more like her.
There's a knock at the door. He's five minutes early. I look through the peephole and there he is. Dressed all in black with his laptop and files. He looks so gorgeous. I hype myself up before opening the door. Don't fuck this up Y/N. You've got this!
"Hey!" I say it just a bit too loud, but he walks into my room ignoring that.
"Hey" He smiles. I lead him to the coffee table and sofa in my room. We sit down, our knees touching. That damned spark again.
"So ive had a read through the script and i think i understand most of the subtext theres a few places where id love your help!" He starts rifling through his copy of the script, hes marked places he thinks would be best paired with something unique. It looks like my script, all covered in highlighter and markings. I cant help but smile at how much he seems to be enjoying this job.
"Can i just ask why you took the job?". I ask, "not that youre not equipped for it, its just im sure you and the kids are always busy." He shifts in his seat to face me.
"I loved doing deadpool. And Ryan asked if we'd like to this film and we read the script and loved it. Unfortunately only the 3 of us could find the time to make it out here. Minho and seungmin have long-standing MCing jobs, I.Ns filming his acting debut," he leans in,"which you didn't hear from me. Hyunjin is creating a fashion line with versace, and Felix has gone back to Australia for a few months."
"Didn't you want to join him? Felix, I mean. Go back home and enjoy being with your family?" I ask
"A part of me did Yeah, but my sister Hannah's out here anyway and I've planned to see her a few times. She may even spend sometime on set with us if I can sort that out."
"Oh I'd love that!! Weirdly enough I actually found your guys music through Hannah's YouTube channel. People kept mentioning her brother so I checked out your music. Think Maniac may have been the first song I listened too." I admitted.
"I was gonna ask you about that actually. I heard you and Ryan bonded over your love of our music?"
"Yeah", I said shyly. "Kind of embarrassing, but yeah. During preproduction rehearsal for the dance scenes we'd blast your music for warm up. We actually almost used Thunderous for one of the dance routines!"
"You were really good before by the way. I forgot to say before. Me, Han and Changbin all thought you could give danceracha a run for their money." I blush. I don't know if this is him flirting but I bloody hope it is
"That's very sweet of you," for what feels like hours, but is merely seconds we hold eye contact. He then looks down at my lips and back to my eyes. I must be imagining that.
"You know what you want?" I break the gaze by pulling out the hotels room service menu.
The next few hours we spend talking about the script and characters. It feels like we've known each other for ages. He's so inspiring with his passion for his job, he's fueling the passion I have for my own. Everything we say in agreement, totally understanding the story in the same way. Dissecting the relationships and themes with such glee.
It's almost midnight by the time he leaves. I walk him to his door, a total of 4 steps from my own.
"Goodnight," i say, "I had a lot of fun!"
"Me too" He replies opening his door. "What time is your call time tomorrow?" He asks leaning against the door frame.
"Keith's picking me up at 9" I reply
"I'll message Sara to say I'm joining you, if that's cool with you?" He queries, running his hand through his slightly curly hair.
"I meet you out here at 8:50?"
"It's a date. Goodnight Y/N."
"Goodnight Christopher"
"I like that. You using my full name."
"I'll keep that in mind". We kind of just hang there in our respective door frames.
"Goodnight....I think that's the 3rd time I've said that." I laugh "ill see you in the morning" He nods and we close our doors.
I go to my bed and ring my mum to tell her about everything that's just happened. She answers but can't stay on the call for long, she's about to head off to work. I hate time differences.

Cos I like you
Prologue
Edit: watch the latest 2 kids room of bangchan x changbin and felix x changbin to understand some references.
Chapter 1
Hyunjin got back to the dorm after long hours of practicing. He grabbed a bottle of water and sat down on the sofa. Next to him, Bang Chan was excitedly texting someone.
Hyunjin smirked a bit and asked, "Hyung why are you looking at your phone like you're in love?"
Bang chan looked at hyunjin with shocked eyes and said "no no noo it's not like that. It's just I got in touch with an old friend after a long time. We sort of lost contact when I moved to Korea which was maaaany years ago so.."
"Ohhh wow that's nice. What's he like?" Hyunjin continued the conversation
"Well SHE's still just the same as before. She was always pretty sweet and kind. I'm glad we're talking again."
"So it is a girl. Hmm....waaait, did you tell her that you're a kpop idol? or does she already know?" Hyunjin got curious.
"Nope. Not a single clue. We were friends when we were 10 year olds and she only knew my Christian name, Chris. So I doubt it." Chan smiled to himself
Hyunjin chucked a bit and replied "She's gonnabe so shocked. I wonder how she'll react. What's her name?"
"Y/N"
"That doesn't sound Korean or Christian." Hyunjin stated. "Yeah I know. She's from India. But her parents moved to Australia. I used to have a lot of Indian friends in Australia. I feel so nostalgic now that I'm talking to her after a looong time."
"Oh wow hyung, you have friends from all over the world. I wish I was like you." Hyunjin smiled.
"You want to see her pic?"
"Yeah sure."
They waited for y/n's selfie to upload.
After 5 minutes, bang chan rolled his eyes and said "The wi-fi is always so slow. I guess I'll have to show once the pic loads.." Chan sighed.
"Ahh it's okay don't worry. I can see the pic later. I'm sure she's pretty. Happy for you" Hyunjin replied in a teasing manner. Before Chan could reply, Hyunjin went off into his room with his bottle of water.
"I don't even know how she looks. Come on Hyunjin." Chan whined to himself but was still curious about how you've been and what you've been up to.
A new message popped up
Y/N: Am I so ugly that you won't even respond to my messages anymore? T^T
Chan: NOOOOO! it's the damn Wi-Fi. Your pic won't load. Wait...for the time being I'll send you my selfie and you can reply.
Y/N: will your WiFi let you send pics if the connection is so poor?
Chan sent the pic and the downloading circle kept on revolving.
Chan: I guess not :( we'll see each later I suppose.
Y/N: hmm okay. anyways how have u been? what's it like in Korea?
Chan thought for a minute before replying
Chan: pretty good! I'm pursuing higher studies. I live in a dorm. Other than that, I've been working on making my music. What about you?
Y/N: that sounds so exciting! I hope your dreams come true one day.
Chan chuckled at the message and thought little does she know.
Y/N: I'm also pursing my higher studies but all the classes are online so I'm at home haha. I'm actually coming to Korea for vacation soon. I thought if I'm going to Korea I could at least find the one friend who I knew also went there.
Chan: I'm really glad you did. It's so lovely to talk to you again. I hope you come to Korea soon so we can meet.
Y/N: same bro. I'll let you know the dates soon. Oh well g2g. TTYS?
Chan: Sure take care bye!
Chan switched off his phone and thought that he'll probably have to tell his members to pretend to be students for a while. He knows y/n will know the truth soon but it could be shocking to give y/n such a huge news abruptly.
Changbin came out of his room and in his most aegyo and high pitched voice said: Channiiiee hyung~ let's cuddle nowww pleaseeeee"
With a gleam in his eyes, Chan suddenly got up replied in a similar voice "Changbinniieeee~ I'll hold youuuu."
And they went off in his room to cuddle. Despite being older than the '00 liners, these 2 were way more playful and loved to act silly. Hyunjin heard their voices and rolled his eyes. 2 peas in a pod Hyunjin thought and smirked. Hyunjin's phone rang and he picked up. "Felix what's up?"
"Changbin again left me on read. Not that it bothers me though. Anyways what's up?"
"He's having a cuddle session with chan right now so I doubt he's gonna check his phone" Hyunjin said with a laugh.
"Ahhh I remember we used to do that too when we were roommates" felix said while looking at his changbin plushie and slightly pouting.
Hyunjin started laughing "you sound upset?? What is this? A love triangle? Want me to go tell Chan hyung to back off?"
"Hey hey hey it's not like that okay?" Felix replied in defence. Hyunjin was still laughing and replied "Sure sure, also you don't have to worry about Chan taking changbin hyung any-" Hyunjin stopped mid sentence. He didn't know if he should talk about y/n to Felix without Chan's permission.
"Huuuh? And why is that?" Felix asked playfully.
Hyunjin took a minute and replied
"Because he's mr steal your girl, not steal your boy."
And they both started laughing. After a few moments, felix replied "ok well the reason I was calling was because I wanted to come by and work on our unit song. Is that okay?
Hyunjin replied that it's okay and he can come anytime. Felix packed some food and left his dorm.

hey angel (m)
♡ sub!felix + reader
↳ The JYP Halloween party is ditched on short notice. That means: You have a down-to-celebrate boyfriend in full angel costume on your hands.
words. 5k
tags. domestic au, finger sucking, hickeys, latex, corruption kink, fingering, vaginal sex, footjob, harnesses, cunnilingus, kitten antics, edging, aftercare
★⎡CARO’S NOTE⎦› here goes the cutie on duty 👼
genre. domestic + smut/crack
„So sorry mate,“ Bang Chan’s voice resounds through the speaker. „I thought it could work but… We can’t celebrate tonight. Really sorry, Felix. Changbin and I already got dressed up too, but, you know things got shut down. JYP won’t let us with the Corona rules and stuff.“
„Oh no…“
„Yeah, man. Looks like we’ll have to do it next year.“
„You even prepared the food already, right?“
„We’re handing it out to staff and eat it at home. I know, it sucks. I spent half the morning in the kitchen. I can like keep the pumpkin cookies so you can eat them tomorrow after practice or so.“
„I feel so sorry Chan… and thank you.“
„I’ll be calling Hyunjin and Han now as well. Really sorry we’re cancelling short notice. I hope you’re still having a nice evening bro. Maybe we can make it happen for Christmas.“
„Okay. Cheers mate.“
„Yeah, cheers.“
Felix puts his phone down looking more than deflated in his angel costume, puffs out a big sigh. You can tell he really looked forward to this. Just an hour before, you bothered to sew the wings in place rather than rely on the wobbly back-pack like construction that came with it.
They’re firmly attached to his white top now, and all for nothing. He glued them together by himself with a pack of synthetic feathers ordered on Etsy for a ridiculous shipping cost, along with a little halo that he clipped into his hair. Which, because maybe it really does sense his mood, dangles low and even a bit lopsided over his head.
„It’s the party of the year,“ Felix flops down on the living room couch. “I can’t believe this.“
You sit down opposite to him, starting to clean off the table where masses of cosmetic products and leftover feathers have piles up.
„Next time, Lixie. We can keep the costume. Poor Chan, he organized the living shit out of everything.“
„I’ll just go and shower, get this off, and stuff,“ he points at his face. Felix applied his own makeup with a little help from you here and there, including some golden sparkles. Just yesterday, he bleached his hair. It’s sculpted down to every strand with hair spray now. Felix unties his sneakers with the little gold stars on. Just before he starts plucking off his halo, you get an idea, pick up your phone from the table.
„Wait— Let’s at least make some pictures with your phone, you put so much effort in this. You look so cute. The fans might want to see it as well.“
„Oh! You’re right,“ Felix stops right in his tracks. „For Instagram.“
After tightening his sneakers again and you making sure the halo sights right, Felix walks around your flat in search for a nice backdrop. You follow, quickly flipping through some filters to try, and adjusting the flash on the camera.
After posing at the fridge — strange idea — and in the bathroom turns out a little awkward as well, you decide that such an elaborate costume needs a themed background, and only the bedroom offers just that. You recently changed the duvet to sky blue sheets with clouds on them. The overall interior is mostly clean white as well, with some thrifted vintage furniture. Fairy lights, heavy curtains, a wooden ceiling. Perfect.
„We’ll caption it as… post your own stay-at-home costume, something like that,“ Felix plops down on the bed, acting as if he just took a seat on the cloud in the very middle.
„Sounds pretty good,“ you press release, and the first picture pops up on your screen. „Can you turn a little towards the light? That the sparkles are showing.“
„Yay, I love the sparkles!“
„Just like this, just like this. Don’t move. The sparkles!“
A five-picture series of more snapshots ensues, with you adjusting Felix’s face a few times by hand, even, turning his chin by sheer millimeters to find the perfect angle. He’s stunning.
„I have another idea.“
„Oh?“
„I remember what I wore for Halloween three years ago. The costume must be somewhere. I think it fits together with yours.“
„What, oh wow?“
„What was it again, wait…“
You already begin to sort through your wardrobe, checking each hanger, each drawer, end up where you store your socks, and finally pull out a larger plastic zip bag from the very depths of all that chaos. There it is. Nice.
„Lix, if you’d turn around for me, please.“
He immediately does. Blushing.
„Thank you, angel.“
You pull off your sweat pants, your grey shirt, socks, your bra. Time to dress up. Only your simple black panties stay on. On goes a pair of scarlet stockings, snug and high. Then, a dark red latex skirt that goes in big circles and flounces, down to the mid-thigh.
Added: A tight sleeveless peplum top that admittedly… and deliberately squeezes your boobs a little. Not too much. More important is that your nipples are showing right through, and the cleavage is sweeping, every demon would be salivating at your feet. If an angel does: Remains to be tested.
Around your waist and chest and over your shoulder goes a black harness, pulling everything together. Some very pointed, glossy pumps with thin heels complete the costume. They’re not crafted to be walked on in the very least, their balance is terrible. You’re planning something else with them. Cherry on top: Devil horn headband. Really curved and pointy, too. Can’t go wrong. You click your tongue and take a spin. The skirt flares out perfectly. Ready to go.
„Felix, time to turn around.“
He does. You can tell he didn’t cheat.
„You’re, you’re so hot in this,“ Felix buries his face right in the comfort of his sweater paws, hoping they would not give away his embarrassed little face. But — his voice does, effortlessly so.
„Come on, have a look at me. Real closely, angel, come. You’re allowed to.“
Felix gazes through his fingers with what sounds like a little meep! in a much more high-pitched tone than his usual speaking range. He’s cute.
„Hey pum’kin. Miss Lucifer speaking. Where’s the barbecue?“
Felix and you recently agreed that hell must be one big and extremely hot cave where everyone’s grilling and having a good time. Australia, essentially.
„Welp!“
„Damn right. Infiltrating God’s realm one cloud at a time. Any last words?“
„It’s so intimidating!“
Felix digs himself into a mountain of pillows on the bed, with only his eyes and nose peeking out. You shrug, adjust your horns.
„Hm. Time for my first satanic act I guess.“
„Oh no!“
„Wait just one minute, be a sweet and patient boy.“
You leave Yongbok confused given that you’re quick to hurry to the kitchen. However, what you return with puts a giggle on his lips right away.
„Boom. It is served.“
„Yes, yes, please!“
Poufy black cocoa cupcakes. The ones with the cute little ghost frosting on it, and the melted chocolate inside. Felix finds them irresistable since the last Halloween party, to the point where you bake them mid-July. The current set of cupcakes was meant to be a contribution to Bang Chan’s eerie and delectable buffet. As for now, they’re in deep need of someone hungry since you made a lot of them, assuming a post-workout Changbin would devour at least five or more.
„Good move,“ he admits, a little shaky, and you proceed to tray the cupcakes on the bed — stuffing Felix for a solid ten minutes until there’s chocolate all over his face. What you’ll be quick to confess is that you’ve been deliberately messy feeding him, with all the crumbs in particular.
„Spoiled honey bun,“ you plant a kiss on top of his head.
„These taste so good, I swear.“
Next up is Felix who has to carefully maneuver the sweet treats into your mouth without spoiling your outfit.
„If you get crumbs into my cleavage, I can’t put your face in there later you know.“
Fierce nodding.
„That’s the spirit.“
Under your eagle eyes, he proves to be an obedient little cherub doing his job pretty well. The cakes are delicious in how spongy they are, and the liquid chocolate warms up so well on the tongue, it melts even more. You’re more than pleased and have Felix store away the remaining four pieces only after quite a while.
„I’ll have them for Brekkie, woo!“ is what he’s fast to proclaim, and you agree he’ll need them the next morning. Once you’re done with him, that’s gonna count as a hangover even Chan’s wildest party couldn’t give him.
„We’re talking dinner first, Felix.“
At this point, all the sugar is kicking in. Or it’s the chocolate being some kind of aphrodisiac. Whatever, could be either, you’re feeling like you’re up there at the ceiling, and you’re not the only one. Felix coming back to the bedroom so bouncy and cutieful just gets you even more in the mood.
You sit at the edge of the bed, slanting backward just a little. „You look like you need some more corruption, I won’t lie,“ you pat your lap, beckoning. He can ditch wifi because this is his favorite hot spot waiting for him. Felix sits down looking tiny as ever, eyes full of anticipation and his pants full of… big fat late night erection.
„I don’t mind at all, Miss. I don’t, oh my god…“ he mumbles into his nonexistent Aussie trucker beard, and you’re clear that whatever the skirt did to him, his brain must be doing kangaroo somersaults right now. In the meantime, something very eager is poking right at your lower belly. Captain Boomerang already came fully armed tonight and the Suicide Squad isn’t even anywhere near to be seen.
„Oh hey hey, cupcake. Getting really big there,“ you wipe at the curled little corners of his mouth. Some crumbs come off. His lips already twitch the way you know they want to do naughty things on you. He doesn’t seem to notice. Autopilot Felix has already taken over.
„Don’t hurry with it,“ he stares, mouth half-open, but his little grinds prove him a dirty — in an entirely direct sense — fucking liar. Like he’s literally rubbing himself against your stomach.
„Boy oh boy. You’re not even trying.“
„I’m fucked!“ is what Felix soon realizes with the daggers you’re shooting at him through your hopefully very satanic-looking eyes right now. Alongside catching up with his darn hips doing their own thing.
„You are.“
„I’m sorry for grinding, God help me!“
„He won’t. Cuz I’m here on your cloud. Cue stage number two of my demonic plan. Safeword?“
„It’s chocolate!“
„Mh. Good pick.“
The rest as usual. Tapping the thigh, yellow for pause, towels plus water ready, and always double-checking the lube in case of Jisung putting a glass of vegemite under your bed as his latest practical joke. Yes, it happened. It’s a whole new level of demonic. On the other hand: perhaps Felix’ ass could’ve actually handled it, Made in Australia it is.
„Let’s go honey angel,“ you curl at his hair with a little finger just to tease him a little more. The answer is a little meow, at this point Felix’ communication skills have simplified to kitten vocabulary which always happens when he is nervous and looking forward to something.
Next thing poor Felix knows, his face has entered the scorching satanic abyss that is your cleavage. Literally, you’re burning up. It’s fucking October and Felix has you breaking a sweat from all your horniness (literally, your horns are just that chic) already. Twice the reason to punish the shit out of him. If that can be considered anything near a punishment.
A shower of various „Mh— nh!“ and mewling noises comes to rain down on you while Felix face takes a trip down mammary lane, and that, too, is literal. He’s salivating. So much about rain. Actually, great lubrication. Felix always does things best by instinct.
„Yes, good boy. Great job.“
Now that his mouth is wet already, you’re unceremonious about shoving your fingers right down his throat after he resurfaces. Blushed, hard, and ready to choke himself since he’s already running short on breath. It doesn’t take long until he’s gagging himself stupid and the sparkles under his eyes start running.
„Pretty, pretty,“ you lean down a little, kissing his nose. „Give me all you got.“
„Gh—gch—“
The answer is as slobbery and unintelligible as can be. To a normal human, at least. You’re a demonic top. That automatically means having an Ivy League major in gag noise translation.
„Oh yes, I know,“ you stroke his hair, using your free hand that usually rests at the back of his neck. „Talk to me about it. Exactly what I was thinking. Do go on.“
And he does, louder than ever. If there’s one satisfying sound, it’s this, that heavenly deep voice doing all kinds of nasty acrobatics is making you go crazy. That Felix is absolutely close to cumming in his angel pants is very much clear to you given how the veins and muscles on his neck are having a chaotic Halloween party on their own.
Which includes his tongue taking turns on your two fingers as well. And a wide-eyed Felix struggling, swallowing, holding on to your shoulders with his little feet twitching in their sneakers. Like mad… and you love it. But also — hopelessly sucking and moaning and slurping and squealing until his neck has way too much saliva on it for you not to make it your next target. Felix is so good at this. Way too good.
„Looks delicious,“ you lean in, your hair tickles his ears. And now, you’re busy nibbling, biting a little… and most importantly, giving Felix a wet hickey that will send his makeup artist — my God, you really torture the unsuspecting man almost weekly — into a meltdown. Rowdy and unholy is the look you’re going for.
In the meantime, Felix is still wrapped up trying to hit your fingers at the back of his throat. If his cute bouncy run and rude boner moment didn’t turn you on already, now you would be. The way he’s just sucking in his own spit makes you realize that you won’t ever need a fire brigade for your flat.
You emerge from his neck and raise your brows. Felix is just hard-wired to impress. „Just how much saliva can you produce!“
„Ch… Mnh— Nh…“
Hitting some more complex syntax and consonants there, is he.
„Oh, I get it now. You stayed hydrated during the day. Thanks for explaining, mate. That’s the secret.“
Whether that’s perfectly scientifically correct down to the enzyme theory and shit neither of you can google right now. At least you know that you’re both drenched on either end so that’s that.
Once Felix is so horny from deepthroating your damn hand that he has pull off and yellow-word, you’re already prepared for introducing a new position which you can prepare while he’s gathering himself and wiping off his chin. You hand him a second towel for his neck, and present him a little hand mirror to see how the hickey turned out.
„It’s shaped like, hm,“ he pants, words still slurring a little. „I dunno! It’s really cute!“
„Let me see… No doubt that’s a rice cake hickey. That’s the shape.“
„You’re right!“
And off he goes snapping a selfie with it while you get comfortable on your back, cleaning your own fingers.
„Just don’t upload that one to Insta instead of the cloud shots, we’re not gonna survive another Manager call at 1:15 AM.“
„Can I use your phone for it? That’s where it’s supposed to be on, anyway.“
Felix giggles a little. That cute brat. Always knowing how it’s done.
„Sure babe!“
And voilà, Felix is already occupied setting a good view of his new rice cake-shaped friend as your phone background. Good thing, helps his erection cool down a little, he was about to blow up his poor white pants. The acceptable unfair feat being that he’s just riling you up even more like that on the other hand.
„If you come to mommy now,“ you wriggle one foot in the air, the other splayed on the duvet, knee slightly bent. „Rubbing her pussy and doing your thing, you know how it goes.“
„Angel duties calling! What am I doing!“
At the speed of sound, Felix stores your phone back on the bedside table and crawls over in an instant. He props his chin on your abdomen and blinks.
„Sorry Ma’am. At your service. Never wanna keep you waiting.“
A big smile rouses his cheeks, and you boop them from either side. His peach fuzz is so soft and his eyes are so beautifully dark. You don’t waste any time keeping your skirt down for any longer. Another blink and Felix is already pawing — well, kneading and caressing technically — between your legs. He’s visibly understanding just how wet the whole finger sucking circus has left you now.
„What if I used my heels on your cock, boo. Still no cumming. Just my heels and my lil’ prince.“
Satanic plan stage number three. Felix has gotten to savor it last Christmas and for his birthday, and some time around the holidays in summer.
„I love it yay!“ Felix claps his hands. Baby, baby.
„C’mere then. Just keep on rubbing.“
His arms are fairly long enough. While you’re dragging the slender heels of either shoe right across the outlines on his crotch, Felix, eyes loosely closed, maintains a steady rhythm on your clit with three fingers lined up on the fabric of your panties.
„Oh fucking hell, Felix, shit—“
Whenever you masturbate, that alone would never do. You’d get frustrated after a while. Need more stimulation. But when Felix is on angel duty to keep your pussy soaked, it doesn’t need much to make your clit throb, even with your underwear still on. Guess that God’s little helpers know how to work their magic to make your head spin.
He’s hitting the right spot, with the right moves, and his other hand doesn’t miss out on a single opportunity to stroke at both the in- and outside of your thighs. The touch is so subtle, you twitch. Felix strokes on, delirious himself. His eyelids flutter.
„Fuck…“
Despite the little pause from earlier taking out most of his tension, your heels leave Felix with pants that are even more bulged out. That’s making it easy to direct your feet to jerk up and down at either side. You’d never know either of you would be so into this. Foot fetish and all.
Once he’s edged you to the point of moans, last thing you properly remember is calling it quits with the panties and telling him to line himself up. The heels kicked off, the skirt still on, you decide that unpacking your Halloween treat has been long overdue. You slide his pants down, roll down a pink condom, and grab his cock at the base to glide it all over your wet lips.
„Lix, come fuck me. You got me all horny. Satan is recruiting.“
„With me it’s not sinning,“ he smiles, brighter than the sun and you do right along. It’d be hard not to. Felix truly has the innocence of a virgin, the subtle confidence of an intermediate, the caution of a pro, and the kindness of a real veteran.
„You’re right about that Felix,“ you say, prop your entrance at the very tip, let the wetness do its job. „Come kiss your honey girl.“
And he does. Entering you with care for the right angle, letting your hip do the rest. What’s been circling and sucking your fingers so deliciously is now doing a hot job teasing and pleasing your tongue all over. His lips are amazingly soft and plump, they open so gently and feel electric on yours. A gentle squeeze around your left breast sparks a moan into the kiss from you. It’s Felix massaging your breasts while deepening his penetration, and you can tell the vegemite can stay under the bed today. You can tell Felix is getting more than flustered knowing it was all him who made you this dripping wet.
Even his dick seems to blush in sync. It’s fucking pink and red. Oh wait, that’s the condom. But knowing him and from your viewpoint, it’s still more flushed than before, no kidding. Faithfully pumping in and out of you at its full length now. You wrap your legs around his waist, the thrusts become deeper, shorter, parting you open much more, and filling you out so properly.
„So good. Right there, angel. Just right there. I’m loving that.“
Felix has a great dick. Best handy size, the girth’s comfortable, all nice and bendy, virtually no curve, you can always gyrate on it in any way and even take a complete 180 if you go from cowgirl to reverse (which you’d be doing right now but he’d crush his wings if he were on his back like that so no). Cherry on top, compact but soft balls that don’t steal the show but still do the trick during doggy. They’re whipping up the best cum in the world, so.
The slow kissing goes on and on and Felix tries to walk the tightrope of neither letting your pussy lips suck the orgasm out of him, nor making you cream his cock with shaky legs from all that gorgeous sloppy friction, and the kissing, and his sweet cherry shampoo scent that has your brain in absolute limbo.
With everything hanging by a thread like that, every kiss becomes special and full of a suspense that makes your lips tremble — either set, and Felix can hardly bear it himself.
His little halo is dangling back and forth, and you can tell by his face that all that thrusting has him in serious trouble. And you? Are fucking leaking and groaning, and that little shallow series of first contractions before your orgasm is already preparing you.
The sugar high from the cupcakes is fading, but your adrenaline is sure to replace it. You just want Felix to fuck you more and rock against him, and hold his head, and kiss him. God, his mouth is so warm and inviting, tastes so good like cocoa.
The pace joins yours without any effort, it adapts when your rhythm changes, and it stabilizes everything when you’re currently riding the high of his cock really filling you out so you can clench your muscles around him, feel him and tell him just you wait, I’ll milk you. He’s such a good kisser. You can feel all of your wetness running down your ass like it’s Christmas.
„Felix, I’m overflowing.“
„I’m so sorry,“ he whines into the kiss. „I’ll be washing the sheets.“
„Listen, baby,“ you break the tongue-on-tongue, „you doing laundry is really sexy. But the overflow is the best part. Just look what you’re doing to my body.“
You could ravage him on the spot. He’d probably lose it and cum in two seconds. Holding yourself before the edge is so tough right now.
„Shit… yellow again. Need a moment.“
Felix has to resort to a bit of cockwarming, and you use the little break to rid yourself off the harness. It’s not perfectly comfortable when you’re lying down. You’re about to fling it off the bed that Felix asks to wear it. Oh. Very well. It actually goes as a nice contrast on his white top, and the straps make it easy to adjust to him. And he wants it to sit on him really tightly. Oh again.
You realize—
On you, it’s only a fashion piece. Something random that came with the costume.
On him: It’s kinky.
„Hey hey. You look sexy, pum’kin,“ you pat at his chest. „Look at your waist, wow.“
Your sweet boy. It’s like it’s made for him. So cinched and the exact opposite of his costume. He’s a corrupted, dirty angel now, it’s perfect. With his pink neck and all sweaty face, and his little puppy gaze that will haunt you in your sex dreams because it literally just gets into your pants so much. Oh god, you just wanna cum. You have to distract yourself with chaste images of Felix washing the dishes or writing grocery lists with little hearts and emojis on them but that just makes it five times worse.
The way he puts the harness on with his dick inside you is so mouthwatering and cumworthy, you can’t wait to resume and switch your own brains off on that angel cock. Once Felix is ready to exit phase yellow and resume the session, your hands magically gravitate towards the straps of the harness at this waist.
„Can I?“
„M—hm!“
You have the time of your life grabbing and guiding him by the harness, controlling every thrust. Felix clenches up his teeth from how lavishly his cock is squeezing into your pussy.
„Oh babe,“ you groan out. „Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me. Come on, angel.“
He’s not going to take it much longer. Felix is tensing all over, neck to the knees, it’s a huge shock wave in the making. That climax is going to be like a fucking punch into outer space.
„I’m really at my limit, I’m, I’m…!“
„Cum for me, angel,“ you reach to his neck to bring his lips down again. Your mouths going into shaky contact brings a big soaring moan with it.
„Ahn—!“
You lock lips, his face scrunches up, and you can tell that cum worth of three orgasms is currently pooling into the condom. You don’t belong to the mile high club, but going by how far up this feels, you might as well be. Those sweet shivers. And the little whines. It’s all too much for him, this one got him bad. Felix cumming is like the angels really are singing. With bells and harps and all that shit at once.
After pulling out, the ruined condom goes off lightning fast. Felix’ cock gets some much-needed cooling, but his face is on heavy duty. How he does it after almost getting his lights turned off, it’s a mystery, it must have been six whole loads he shot into you. You’d already be collapsing in his shoes. Felix still being able to put his mouth to work is an act of divine intervention. Honestly though, it doesn’t even take half a minute. Sloppy head from Felix is cryptonite, your stamina comes tumbling down. His tongue just knocks you out with an overwhelming rush of pleasure.
“Oh— yes...”
What is gravity? You don’t know what north and south mean anymore. He laps and sucks you through your high and your legs give up their soldier service. All you see it fluffy blonde strands of hair peeking from below your skirt, a glimpse of the harness, the rest is heavy growling and swearing from all of the contractions and Felix getting raw and dirty Down Under with no fears, literally none, to bury his face and move it around and let his tongue loose. Time and again Felix shows you he’s a swallower. Satanic agenda: success.
For tonight, your pussy will be nothing but glitter, cum, and spit. Swollen like crazy, properly fucked, and tipped to the absolute limit. Felix keeps on slicking up his face completely, and then brings you into the afterglow with his fingers. One at a time, barely adding stimulation. Just fetching you where you are and climbing down. Looks like you’ll share the cupcakes, this is a couple hangover in the making. In Felix’ case in particular. It’s like he signed up for testing a mad scientist’s latest designer drug.
„Wow wow… So you served me choco cupcakes and God’s menu,“ is the last thing he can say in his delirium before falling over. He’s so fucked out and went so wild on eating you, a part of the harness came off. Thank god his nose is so small, all that swiping could’ve broken the bridge and whatnot. And his lips, they’re twice as plump. You really have to compliment in on what his mouth has done today because that was some champ shit.
You’re both buffering on the sheets for a solid five minutes until you roll to the side. Towel… water… forehead kisses. Yes, forehead kisses most importantly. After gathering yourself a little, you pamper Felix into a heart rate around 90 rather than 120. And with the onset of exhaustion for the two of you, that’s not too hard after some minutes passing. Whispering sweet nothings and praise is all you do up until 2 AM and after. Felix is somewhere between worlds, one foot in the door of the dreamland, the other soaking up the care and the intoxicating, thick scent of the room that has a lot of cherry shampoo in it.
At some point. You loosen the harness, pull off his shirt with the wings attached. The halo you unsuccessfully try to spot in his hair. Turns out: It flew off. Felix really must’ve made Satan proud if it fell down just like that. Good job. Felix has earned a title of being a dirty angel now, and by the way he’s chugging water now, a wet one on top of that.
Five tons of spit, six, seven, who knows how many he’s afforded for today. A head pat is not enough, it has to be several, and Felix passes out onto the pillows. As good as you can, you wipe him down, bin the condom, get off his shoes and his half-pulled down trousers. After staggering to the bathroom, your skirt and peplum shirt follows, the stockings stay on, they’re cozy as hell. Last but not least, you remove your devil horns. It feels like they granted you the most unknown demonic powers.
Next time Felix is on his way to making you cum again, you’ll be wearing them, and you’ll last the way you did tonight. Meanwhile, Bang Chan is blowing up your phone because Felix pressed send by accident earlier, but you don’t notice. It just keeps on vibrating on the bedstand and Chris will have to riddle over the rice cake selfie for the rest of November.
Felix dozes with an angelic little smile on his lips and puffs his cheeks in his sleep, his makeup wiped and his hair truly messy. Instagram can wait. Maybe you’ll get to brush your teeth a little later, it usually takes some time until you wake up again and topple to the sink. You huddle together, tuck your sweet baby pum’kin into his second favorite spot at your chest. Ah, the glory of Felix little spooning.
As the last signature, you nibble at his ear, call him your cutie pie, and switch the lights off. You have to listen closely but if you do, it’s like Felix is purring in his sleep. Whatever your own dreamland is planning to launch on you tonight, you’re looking forward to it.

Way to You
➵ Stray Kids: Bang Chan x fem. reader / one shot, college AU, friends to lovers AU / fluff
➵ warnings: slight cursing, mentions of alcohol/drinking, a teeny tiny bit sexual suggestiveness (nothing explicit)
➵ word count: 5.7k
You are in trouble.
You are in really big trouble.
Staring at the sleeping person beside you, you think about what to do next.
Maybe you could move to a different country, take on the maiden name of your mother and become a dog sitter. You like dogs! Love them, even. Cats too, you’re not picky.
Or maybe you could apply to be one of those people being shot into space to colonize Mars. It’s probably chill up there - not many people, and even better: no Chan. Probably no wifi too, though. But well, you like reading so you could always pass time by bringing enough books, right?
Or maybe, as an easier and far less dramatic solution: you could just pretend to not remember anything from last night - honestly, from the way your head is pounding right now, it doesn’t even seem that far fetched.
For now you decide to just slide out of bed before the man beside you wakes from his deep slumber, and to flee from his house, hoping no one is going to see you. No witnesses, no crime, right?
At least you’re still wearing a shirt and most of your underwear, so … it could be worse.
Probably.
Right?!
You take in a deep breath and carefully lift the blanket, slowly wiggling towards the edge of the bed. Before you can successfully escape though, Chan beside you groans, and wraps one arm around your waist to pull you close to his own warm body again. You almost squeal, but manage to press your lips together to stifle the noise.
Chan’s breathing is soft and steady - so for now, he’s still asleep, but you need to get away from him as quickly as possible. So you try to escape for a second time, carefully prying his arm from your body and placing it back on the mattress. This time, you successfully slide out of bed, silently landing on your feet and almost losing your balance - you are in desperate need of some water, it seems. Dehydration is no joke, kids. Quietly, you slip into your jeans and grab your bra dangling from a bedpost. You also look for your purse but after being unable to locate it, you finally tiptoe out of the room. As soon as you’ve managed to close the door behind you, you exhale, relief spreading through your whole body. You’re fine, you’re good, you’re almost out of here! You pretty much run towards the bathroom, and suppress a groan when you see your tired hangover face staring back at you in the mirror. After drinking some water straight from the tap, you wash off the pitiful rest of your makeup, put your hair up into a ponytail and deem yourself ready to leave the solidarity of the bathroom again - and to face whoever’s already awake.
The frat house is almost eerily quiet at this time of day, so you try not to make a sound while sneaking downstairs, cringing whenever one of the steps creaks under your weight. You sigh in relief when you’ve finally made it downstairs, and begin to smile when you spot your purse dangling from the back of a chair. To your delight, the keys to your flat, your wallet and phone are all still in there. Maybe the world isn’t as bad of a place as you’re sometimes making it out to be. “Morning.” You squeal and turn around, hand clutching your chest. Hyunjin chuckles when he sees your shocked expression, and silently toasts you with the mug he is holding in one hand. “Well don’t you look lovely so early in the morning.”, he teases, and you stick out your tongue at him. “I’m very sorry to inform you that not everyone has been blessed with a perfect morning face, oh dear Adonis.”, you just answer, and he grins. “Want some coffee”?, he asks, already reaching for a second mug, but halts in his movement when he sees your hesitant expression. Your eyes slide towards the stairwell and back at the young man in front of you again. “I- I should go.”, you say, and he just nods, hand falling away from the coffee pot. “Sure. Have a nice day, then.” For some reason, he seems disappointed, but you try not to give it too much thought. So you just smile at him, before ducking out into the hallway to grab your shoes and jacket, quickly leaving the frat house behind. It’s a cold morning for early autumn, mist hanging between the trees and making it difficult to see, and you bury both hands in your pockets while walking towards the direction of your flat. It’s weirdly quiet, and you’re almost regretting your decision to leave the house so abruptly, even though it was probably the more… sensible thing to do. Chan and you have a long, complicated history - missed opportunities, bad timing, broken hearts. For some reason, it just never seems to work between you guys. There’s always either another person standing between you, or some miscommunication happens, or he is suddenly leaving to spend a term abroad in Australia or or or … the list goes on and on. You’ve never managed to find your way to each other.
Yesterday was his welcome back party, and as part of the “inner circle”, you’d of course been invited to join the surprise gathering as well. You truly love and adore all the boys living at the frat house, even though you want to smack Minho pretty much 24/7, really dislike Hyunjin’s perfect face and superior smirk whenever he plays beer pong against you, and are almost a bit annoyed at Jeongin’s cuteness (you would probably let him get away with literal murder). You also can’t believe the amount of chicken Seungmin manages to eat in a day, and have long lost count of how many times you’ve had to drag Changbin out of the cave he calls his room so he’d finally see some sunlight again and get that vitamin D. No wonder he never grew past the 1.70m mark. Felix is the only one you’d never say anything against, the man being too sweet (and cute) for his own good. He is just sunshine personified. You’d legit burn down cities to protect him. You had met the seven young men during your freshman year, all thanks to your then new roommate and your now best friend Jisung. The others had pretty much accepted you with open arms, and almost just as quickly, you had fallen head over heels for Chan. But who can blame you? Not only is he incredibly handsome, but also funny, witty, smart and always down to clown. Your perfect man in the shape of a talented, beautiful goofball. And he seems to be more than interested in you as well, often shamelessly flirting with you, touching you more than necessary and generally being a total sweetheart towards you.
And yet - … and yet … for some reason, it just never seems to work between you two. Fate is against you, apparently.
Exhausted, you unlock the front door to the flat you share with Jisung, hoping that he is either still at his girlfriend’s place, or deeply asleep. You need a long hot shower and some alone time afterwards.
And coffee, lots of it. Or tea. One or the other, you’re honestly not picky.
Sadly, fate is against you yet again: Jisung sits at the kitchen table, dark eyes almost entirely hidden by too long hair falling into his handsome face. He should really get a haircut. As soon as he lays eyes on you, he gives you a cheeky smile. “Good moooorning.”, he says, tone of voice way too cheerful so early in the day. You sigh internally, but give him a small smile in return and murmur a greeting back. “You look awful.”, your roommate then states, and you roll your eyes at him. “I guess my exterior reflects my inner self, then.”, you grumble, and take the mug of coffee he is sliding your way with a curt nod of your head. “Rough night?”, he asks, lip twitching. You give him a critical look, gnawing on your lower lip. Jisung had left the party around 1am, his girlfriend getting tired and finally wanting to go home.
So how much does he know?
Knowing the boys … they might have instantly texted him, telling him about you staying the night.
With Chan.
In Chan’s room.
After not having seen him for six months.
After having pretty much confessed to him only seconds before he had to take a cab to get to the airport to leave for his term spent abroad.
What can you say, timing has never been one of your strong suits.
Jisung is still staring at you, obviously waiting for your answer. You snap out of your thoughts and take a sip of coffee. You grimace when the bitter taste hits your tongue; Jisung always likes his coffee a lot stronger than you. Pretty much the only strong thing about him though. “It was… long.”, you finally say, and place the mug back on the kitchen table, “And I really need a shower now.” With that, you quickly leave the kitchen again, ignoring your roommate’s low chuckle.
Oh that bastard so knows.
Meaning you have to add a few names to your death note.
Monday is the worst day of the week.
Monday should just cease to exist. Why can’t the week just begin with a nice, chill Tuesday?
You like Tuesdays. Tuesdays are cool.
Mondays on the other hand… They just don’t sit well with you.
“JISUNG, I SWEAR TO GOD, YOU HAVE FIVE SECONDS BEFORE I’M GOING TO BREAK DOWN THIS DAMN DOOR!”, you yell, and continue to hammer your fist against the locked bathroom door.
He’s been in there for almost an hour now, probably using up all the hot water. You can’t believe he’s doing this to you. There’s only about twenty minutes left before you have to leave for your first class, and you definitely need a hot shower and some concealer. Maybe a miracle. Where’s your make-over-sequence when you need it?! Why are you not a young heroine in a quirky rom-com, then you’d probably look perfectly styled all the time. But no, you’ll probably have to go to class with greasy third-day-hair, sweatpants and the biggest eye bags the world has ever seen. Fifty shades of dark circles under your eyes - the perfect movie title should your life ever get turned into one. Probably a solid 10% on Rotten Tomatoes, maybe 15% if the viewers feel generous. Your life just ain’t that interesting so far.
“JI-FUCKING-SUNG!” You kick the door - or well, you want to. Because in that second, your roommate finally decides to open it, so you accidentally kick his shin instead of the wooden door. He yelps, and doubles over in pain. “Hey, I thought you were a pacifist. Violence is never the answer and all that stuff!”, he complains, voice laced with pain, and you feel like, 20% sorry. Or maybe only 15%. “It’s your own fault if you need half an eternity to get ready.”, you scoff, and squeeze past him to get inside the bathroom and to finally take your long awaited shower. “Aren’t you a joy to have around in the morning.”, Jisung just replies, and you flip him off before closing the door into his puffy morning face.
You’re almost late to class, but not because you took too long in the bathroom, oh no. This is Jisung’s fault again - being the annoying parasite that he simply is, he used up the last of your favorite tea, meaning you had to search through the kitchen cabinets to find your less tasty emergency back-up tea. Finding it had taken way too long, because about two weeks ago, Jisung had randomly decided to move everything around inside the cabinets, and now you can’t find shit anymore. He should really get a hobby or two.
You’re out of breath by the time you reach the lecture hall, and almost frozen to death thanks to the temperature dropping way too low last night. Your hair is still wet because you didn’t have time to blow dry it this morning, so you know you’ll look like a crazy witch in approximately half an hour. Having unruly hair is fun. “Hey, Y/N!”, someone yells as soon as you walk through the door, and you jump, almost spilling the back-up tea all over yourself. Thankfully, you manage to maneuver the small thermos flask away from your body, so the hot liquid spills onto the floor instead of your clothes. You shoot a silent apology to the cleaning staff. Your eyes zone in on the person responsible for your near-death-experience, and you groan when Minho flashes you a cheeky smile. It’s way too early to deal with demons, you decide, and are about to turn around and search for a more welcoming or even unfamiliar face in the crowd of students, when Hyunjin appears at your side, mirroring Minho’s gleeful expression.
“Hell’s empty and all the devils are here.”, you mutter under your breath, and Hyunjin laughs, before shoving you towards the empty seat beside Minho. “Stop quoting Shakespeare, you drama queen.”, he just says, and takes the seat on your other side. “I still don’t understand why you had to take the same class as me this term. There are endless other classes you could have chosen. Endless, I’m telling you!”, you mumble, expression grumpy. Minho chuckles. “And rid you of our extremely pleasant company and highly amusing commentary? Never.” You just scoff and open your backpack, rummaging through it until you find your small notebook and pen. Call you old fashioned but you actually like to take notes by hand, eyeing Minho’s sleek MacBook Pro with slight distaste (and maybe a hint of envy). Hyunjin’s doing… better, you guess, because he too is taking notes by hand, but he just has a random assortment of loose paper instead of a bound notebook. You already know he’ll have lost half his notes by the end of the day and will probably ask to borrow yours. Oh that sweet chaos boy.
“How was the rest of your weekend?”, Minho asks, “You were gone by the time we all got up on Saturday, people were really sad and disappointed by your sudden disappearance, you know.” His tone of voice is innocent, too innocent. You know exactly who “people” includes. Oh, you know it way too well. “I had things to do.”, you answer curtly, eyes stubbornly trained at the front of the room where the teacher’s just trying to set up his laptop. You hope he’ll hurry, because you really don't want to continue talking to Hyunjin and Minho. But apparently, the teacher is a hopeless case, looking at the different cables with a big question mark on his face. What is it with boomers and technology, honestly. “Come on, my dude. Please hurry.”, you whisper, watching the man intensely, both eyebrows drawn together. You try to send him mental strength, because he actually looks like he’s about to cry. You’d go and help him if you weren’t sitting at the very back of the lecture hall. Hyunjin pokes your cheek, and you jump. “Answer us, coward.”, he says, sounding way too pleased. “My weekend was fine. The hangover was uncool, but I spent the rest of the day destroying Jisung at Mario Kart and eating greasy food, so it could have been worse. Sunday was uneventful, I just caught up with some of my reading materials for class this week.”, you recap your last two days in a flat voice, “How about you guys?” “Those were the oh-so-important things you “had to do”? Groundbreaking, truly.” You ignore Minho’s sarcasm and begin to play with the cap of your pen. “Well we had to clean the house after Chan’s welcome home party, of course. And then he showed us some of the pictures he took in Australia - there was this one really cute one where he was cuddling a koala, I’m sure you’d love it.”, Hyunjin tells you, and you’re this close to kicking him. How dare he put the mental image of Chan cuddling a koala in your head. You hate how much you love it. Just because you really like koalas of course, this has nothing to do with Chan himself. If you repeat it over and over again, you might actually believe it one day. Probably not. Ugh, Hyunjin and Minho are truly the worst possible friends you could ask for. Who needs enemies when you have friends like these. “Cool.”, you just murmur, and thank the Heavens above when you see that some student has finally taken mercy on your teacher and is helping him set up. Soon after, the lecture begins, and as annoying as Hyunjin and Minho may be, they usually do take their studies seriously, so they finally shut up and leave you be. You sigh in relief, and begin taking notes as well.
You don’t even know why you agreed to come.
You don’t want to be here.
At the frat house.
Again.
You were just here last week, and everyone knows how that ended.
You had managed to avoid seeing Chan all week - not that it was difficult, seeing as you don’t share a single class with him. But he hasn’t texted you either, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t a teeny tiny bit disappointed.
You grind your teeth, cursing Jisung and his stupidly cute hamster cheekies and puppy eyes. You hate to admit it, but you’re prepared to give him just about anything whenever he looks at you with his deep brown eyes while puffing out his cheeks. Honestly, what did the Universe think all those years ago, bringing him into your life?! Why couldn’t someone else have answered your ad about searching for a new roommate? Why did it have to be Jisung?
This whole mess is really just Jisung’s fault.
If it weren’t for him, you’d probably never have met the perfection that is Christopher Bang Chan.
“Are you trying to set the house on fire by staring at it? Because I’m sorry to disappoint, but I’m pretty sure it ain’t gonna work.”, your best friend says, voice laced with barely hidden glee.
He knows how much you hate being here. You had only agreed to come after Jisung had promised Chan wouldn’t be here this evening. Pinky-promised, even! But you already see his car parked outside the frat house, and that can only mean one thing - Jisung has betrayed you. That bastard. This is how Jesus must have felt when he found out about Judas’s betrayal. Or Caesar, when he was stabbed by those closest to him, including his own son Brutus. You really can’t trust men. Your heart aches for your other best friend, but of course she just had to graduate top of her class and therefore go attend the most prestigious university in the country. Meaning she’s about a thousand miles away from you right now. In the end, you really can’t trust anyone, huh. But especially not men. And especially not Jisung, it seems.
“You’re less funny than you think.”, you just answer flatly, and your roommate scoffs. “Don’t be ridiculous, Y/N. We both know the Universe has blessed me with both devilishly handsome looks and an amazing and unique humor.”, he replies, and now you really want to smack him. But being a self-proclaimed pacifist, you just take in a deep breath and decide to only think about all the ways you would murder him if you were a cold-blooded killer and not a usually soft tempered college student. “Come on, don’t be a party pooper and let’s finally go inside, I’m freezing.” And with that, your best friend simply drags you towards the front door.
Judas and Brutus have nothing on Jisung, you decide. Because the second you step inside the living room of the frat house, you’re greeted by the charms (the Chan arms). It’s way too cold to be wearing a sleeveless shirt, but Chan didn’t get the memo apparently. Or maybe it’s because he’s just so hot, he doesn’t get cold, like ever.
You grimace at your own lame joke, even though you thankfully didn’t say it out loud. That would have been embarrassing.
There are a few other people here already, maybe about 15 in total, and everyone greets you and Jisung warmly. You smile and return hugs, and before you know it, Changbin has handed you some wine in a red plastic cup. How very fancy, you truly feel special tonight.
He then pushes you towards the four old, mismatched sofas taking up most of the living room space, and orders you to sit down. You’re so surprised by his commanding tone, you actually follow his request without much protest. For a few minutes, you just stay quiet and observe the small crowd of people, taking a sip of wine from time to time. It’s dry, too dry for your liking, and you’d rather have a cup of tea right now. Or well, maybe a shot of vodka - because suddenly, Chan is making his way towards you. Your eyes dart around the room, and you desperately try not to look at him. He looks so good. Too good. No one needs that much beauty, this is truly just excessive. His black hair looks so shiny, you just want to run your fingers through it. And his deep dark eyes, perfect to drown in. You just want to touch his arms and see if his muscles are as hard as they look. He even has a perfectly cute smile, that bastard. It’s just too much, he’s just too much.
Before you can get up and flee from the scene, Chan falls onto the ground beside you, and gives you his signature cheery smile. His lips look incredibly kissable in the dimly lit room. Ugh.
You quickly look away.
“Hi.”, he says, his deep voice sending a shiver down your spine. He has too much power over you, and he doesn’t even know it. “Hi yourself.”, you answer quietly. “How you’ve been? We haven’t seen each other all week.”, he asks, leaning closer, his right arm brushing against your left one in the process. He smells really good and you can’t help but deeply inhale. “Yeah, I’ve been quite busy.”, you explain, still avoiding to look at him, but out of the corner of your eye, you see how he raises both eyebrows. “Busy? It’s only the second week of class. I didn’t know you’ve become such a geek while I was gone.”, he says, but his soft smile indicates he’s just joking. You shrug, and take another sip of the too dry wine. You grimace again.
It’s disgusting, really, and you don’t even know why you’re still drinking it.
Chan takes the cup out of your hand, and eyes it suspiciously before taking a sip as well. His face says it all, the wine truly is disgusting. “What is this!? A liquid from Hell?!”, he asks and shudders, and you break into a smile. “Considering you live with at least two demons, it’s not that far fetched.”, you answer, and he tilts his head to one side. “What did Hyunjin and Minho do now?”, he sighs, and you shrug. “They were themselves.” Chan chuckles, mumbles “That actually says it all.” under his breath and leans back against the sofa. He’s still looking at you, and you feel a blush creep on your cheeks. Really uncool of your body to just betray you like that. Mind over matter, you think, and dare the blush to just go away and leave you be. It doesn’t work though. Years of evolution and you’re still unable to command your body the way you want to. How incredibly rude. Darwin would be so disappointed.
“I missed you, Y/N.”, Chan suddenly says, his voice barely above a whisper. You finally turn towards him, and lock eyes with him. His expression is soft and his eyes earnest. You give him the smallest of smiles. “I… well, I missed you too.”, you finally confess, heart fluttering when he breaks into a bright smile. He lifts his hand to brush some of your hair behind your ear, all while still intensely looking at you. Your heart rate immediately flatlines, and you think you might have a very spontaneous case of strong asthma, because your lungs are apparently giving up on you as well. You basically drown in Chan’s eyes, their warm brown so familiar.
“MY DEAREST DUDES AND DUDETTES!”, Seungmin suddenly yells - a beautiful alliteration, you think -, making both you and Chan jump. You hurriedly bring some space between your bodies, almost having forgotten about not being alone in the room. You can feel Hyunjin, Minho and Jisung looking at you, all three sporting matching, shit-eating grins.
Maybe being a pacifist is not the right way to go through life after all, because right now, you really just want to punch them. Only lovingly, of course, but with enough strength nevertheless.
“Thank you for joining us on this wonderful Friday evening, and welcome to this month’s game and drinking night! I see most of you have already found your seats, so everyone who’s still standing, please go and sit on your butt, thank you very much.” Seungmin grins and waits for everyone to follow his words. He should really consider quitting law school to become a tv host instead of a lawyer. When everyone’s finally seated, he grabs an empty bowl from the shelf behind him and holds it up into the air, its blue glass catching the light. “Everyone, please write down your names on the slips of paper provided for you, and then we shall begin playing our first game of the night.”
It takes almost ten minutes for everyone to write down their names, mostly because there aren’t enough pens for everyone, so people keep fighting over them. After everyone’s finally done, Seungmin collects the slips of paper again, and puts them in his bowl, shuffling through them. “First game of the night is Seven minutes in Heaven.”, he says, his smile cheeky. You groan internally. He can’t be serious. But apparently, he is - because he fumbles for two paper slips, about to declare the first names. “Fingers crossed for it to be Hyunjin and Minho, just because I wanna see their faces.”, you mumble, and Chan beside you chuckles. “Well now I really want to see that, too.”, he replies in a low voice, leaning closer so you can hear him. You gulp nervously, and are about to answer, when Seungmin clears his throat. “Y/N, Chan? Did you not hear me?”, he asks innocently, and you turn towards him, both your expressions questioning. For someone so cute looking, Seungmin can be really evil sometimes, his smile almost devilish right now. “You’re the first ones up. Now go, have fun. Your seven minutes will begin as soon as you close the door behind you.” You’re actually speechless for once, just blinking at the man in front of you. This can’t be happening. He can’t be serious. There is no way this is a coincidence. You know Seungmin and the other boys too well for that. God, you really should have written all their names into your death note when you had the chance. You’re about to demand for Seungmin to show you the slips of paper in his hand, when - “Uh, well… Let’s go, then.”, Chan finally says, and takes your hand in his to help you up from the floor and drag you towards the little broom cabinet under the stairs.
How very Harry Potter-like.
The last thing you see before Seungmin closes the door in your face, is his stupid smirk.
Oh how much you hate him and the others right now.
It’s dark inside the cabinet, only some light falling through the slits around the door, but it’s too dim to see anything. Dust tickles your nose, and you have to suppress a sneeze. Chan standing opposite you clears his throat. “So.”, he says, and you shift from one foot to the other. The cabinet is small enough for your bodies to be almost touching. You can feel the heat radiating off him and want nothing more than to cuddle to his chest. “So.”, you repeat. “Here we are.”, Chan says. You just chuckle and nervously rub the palms of your hands together, air thick with tension. Before you can say anything else, Chan takes a step closer to you, hot breath fanning over your face. He smells like mint mixed with alcohol. It’s a nice combination, you think. But then again, you’d probably like anything on him. He’s Chan, after all.
Your Chan.
You shiver involuntarily, his close proximity making you almost a bit dizzy. “Are you cold?”, he murmurs, voice low and silky. Goosebumps rise all over your body and you shake your head - until you remember he obviously can’t see it in the darkness. “Not really.”, you whisper back, breath hitching when he suddenly wraps both arms around your waist to pull you close to his chest. You can feel his rapid heartbeat under the palm of your hand, mirroring your own. “Why did you leave last week?”, he asks, sounding more vulnerable than you’ve ever heard before. You gulp and bite down on your lower lip. Guilt washes over you. “Technically you left first - for Australia, remember?”, you shoot back, a really weak and sad attempt if you’re being honest. “You know I never would have left if I didn’t have to.”, he says, and you sigh. You know that, of course you do. Chan is a nice, good guy, a really nice, good guy. It had been stupid of you to confess your love for him right before he had to go. In the end, your broken heart had been no one’s fault except your own. You take in a deep breath. “I’m sorry. I just didn’t know what else to do - I wasn’t sure how you’d react, waking up next to me after all those months of not talking.”, you confess, voice soft and tiny, and duck your head.
Chan’s hand brushes against your cheek, and he lifts your chin with two fingers. “I would have been happy. I would have kissed you good morning before making you some tea. And then I would have stayed in bed all day, cuddling you and showing you all the cool pictures I took in Australia.”, he murmurs, thumb tracing gentle patterns on your cheek. You exhale, sounding wobbly. “That would have been nice.”, you answer, and can almost feel his bright and relieved smile. “Well, tomorrow is Saturday again. So maybe we can just have a do-over.”, he asks, lips awfully close to your own now. “I think I’d like that - I’d really like that.”, you mumble against his lips, and then - finally - he kisses you. Fireworks burst behind your closed eyelids, and you quickly wrap your arms around Chan’s neck to pull him even closer. Now that you’ve started, it seems you can’t get enough of each other - what starts out as a slow, romantic kiss quickly becomes a clashing of tongues and teeth, and when he bites down on your lower lip, you can’t help but moan into his mouth, a hot, tingling feeling shooting through your entire body. All you can think right now is that you never want this moment to end - you’ve been waiting for this for so long. You’ve been waiting for him to finally find his way to you. And you yourself are just so, so tired of running away from him. Never before has anything ever felt so right.
You’re interrupted by a sudden knock on the door, and immediately jump apart, breaking the kiss. You’re both breathless, chests heaving, and even though you can’t see right now, you know that your hair is a total mess, your lips are swollen and your cheeks flushed. “Your seven minutes are over, so you better be decent!”, Minho says from outside, and before either you or Chan can reply, he opens the door. Light floods the tiny cabinet, and you blink against it, feeling like a deer caught in headlights. The first thing you see when your eyes have finally gotten used to the brightness again, is Minho’s shit-eating grin. He stands in the hallway with both his arms crossed and head tilted to one side. “Well, well, well. Heaven sure seems to be as magical as they say, huh?”, he just says, and you really want to smack the grin off his stupidly handsome face.
But Chan just laughs, and grabs your hand, lifting it to his lips to press a soft kiss against your knuckles. You’re ready to just faint right there and then, knees almost buckling from the sweet gesture. Who cares about Minho’s stupid grin when Chan is being perfect again. “Truly magical, yes.”, Chan just answers good-humoredly, and tugs you out of the broom closet, “Well, if you’d excuse us now.” And with that, he simply drags you up the stairs and towards his room. “Hey, where you’re going?!”, Minho and Hyunjin yell in unison, and you look over your shoulder to give them a cheeky grin. “Chan has some pictures he wants to show me - someone told me there’s a really cute one where he cuddles a koala. I finally want to see that now.”, you answer innocently, and wink at them. Chan laughs and quickly pulls you close, kissing you again. You ignore the clapping and cheering noises the others make downstairs. God, your friends are really embarrassing sometimes. But maybe you’re not as sorry anymore about not having written any of them into your death note. Because as stupid and embarrassing as they often are, you do truly adore every single one of them. “You know what, I think that particular picture would make a really cute background for your phone.”, Chan murmurs against your lips, and you raise both eyebrows. “Oh, I bet.”, you just answer, and smile at him.
… Spoiler alert: it’s actually the perfect background for your phone.

Alright, in light of the recent discourse (and because I want to), here's why/when I think each member of stray kids is attractive, and also kind of thoughts about their stage personas.
(Fair warning, this gets less and less organized as time goes on, and they are very much my personal thoughts)
Chan - Like we said, he's most attached when he's not trying to be. I think that because he doesn't believe he's attractive, when he tries to "be" sexy, or "be" attractive, it comes off as awkward because he's uncomfortable, because he doesn't actually think he is. But he is, and that shines through the most when he's not focused on making himself seem that way.
Minho - Kind of the opposite of Chan. I think he knows he's attractive, so he doesn't feel the same pressure that Chan does to actively try to make himself "attractive." He seems a lot more comfortable with himself, and that comes across.
Changbin - You can definitely tell when he's feeling himself, and again, he's comfortable at those times and it shows. Honestly I personally think one of the times he was most attractive was around Miroh era. He weighed a bit more then and he got some hate for it, but I think there were a lot of times where he really felt attractive, and again, it shows. I think he's pretty confident in himself, and the way he carries himself shows that. (I think he main difference between him and Minho is that Minho is considered a "visual," and is more conventionally attractive (not that that necessarily means anything), and Changbin doesn't fit the "beauty standard" bs and is confident despite that.)
Hyunjin - You mentioned this in response to my ask earlier, but he does really well with the "sexy persona" on stage. I think part of what works for him onstage is his ability to separate that persona with his actual self. So while, kind of similar to Chan, there's stuff he might get kind of embarrassed about offstage, what differentiates him from Chan is his ability to get into a headspace where that doesn't matter as much. His focus onstage isn't as much to appear attractive while he's performing, but rather simply performing as well as possible. (I think Chan might think of those as the same thing.)
Jisung - I think he's insecure about his looks as well, he's shown some signs of being insecure about his body and appearance, at least when he was younger, and I think the over obnoxious constantly talking about how attractive he is is meant to cover that insecurity. Anyway, I think he uses stage performance as a break from that? Similar to Hyunjin, I think he has this performing headspace where he doesn't care about his looks and he's confident in himself. I think he uses performing as kind of an escape from reality, as a way to not think.
Felix - I think he's kind of similar to Minho, though he's talked a little bit about insecurity in th recent months, so I may be wrong about this one. I think he knows he's attractive, so he's comfortable with it onstage. I think he also has a bit of a persona, but I don't think it's to the extent that Hyunjin or even Jisung are. He seems to be really cute and sweet, but not to the extent that stay social media makes it. I think he finds that kind of amusing because he seems to play into it a bit, but it's not necessary a persona he uses, more just an exaggeration of one part of his personality. I think his presence on stage is the same way. He is this confident, it's just exaggerated a bit. (This one probably made the least sense I'm sorry.)
Seungmin - I think for him it's less a matter of comfort and more that he's just pretty reserved. I think he's really good at keep his personal comfort boundaries on stage (unlike someone), and he doesn't really cross them. Because he's comfortable, he's honestly really attractive onstage, but unfortunately I think that sometimes he's outshined by the other members. On the bright side, it means that when he is given his chance to shine, it really makes an impact.
Jeongin - He's kind of hard to pin down. He's the youngest, and I think a lot of his focus in regards to performance is to maybe "prove" that he's an adult now and to try to not be babied as much, because he's expressed some discomfort with being called/treated like a baby (looking at you, "omg not the BABY uwu" stays). I think he's starting to grow out of his "needing to prove himself" phase, but it'll probably be a while before then. I think also that's why he was so upset after that one Kingdom stage, because he so badly wants to prove that he's as good as the older members, and he sees that as a failure.
Anyway, this was really long and chaotic and I'm not going to go back and edit this so- enjoy ig - 🦋
don't wanna add a lot bc damn you popped off and it's so good-
but allow me to say how firmly i believe felix is, generally speaking, a secure and confident guy. i think that if he was still in australia he would have really no self-esteem issues, but ofc being in the industry would change his outlook on himself 🤔🤔
anyway this is amazing-

toffee!
ah yeah, i think quarentine has given people some opportunity to actually just sit with the person they are, rather than be rushing around for the person they want to become. its good you got smth good out of isolation! ah thats great! hope you had fun and ur partner in crime speeds back home so you can get out more hehe.
ah yeah ty, good suggestions.
hmm good point, i was sort of putting it separate to the whole not-sexualising thing, but yeah. mmm yeah i totally agree, some of the enhypen fics/imagines *shudder* and even reading innie stuff is just a bit *icky* cos everyone still thinks of him as our agi ppang. yeah def would be good but sadly this just seems to be the world we live in. :(
ah yes the holy masterlist (not sarc) i have actually read in the rain and gladius maximus before, but ill go look for in class! oooh thats good! character development lol. hmmmm yes champagne problems was the angst to end all angst, that shit hurt. it was actually one of the first of your fics i read and i recall almost crying over the whole thing, it was so heartbreaking, i can see how it almost made you want to drop angst. good that youve allowed yourself some lee-way tho :)
hehe thats so cool. okay here we go, ill try not to be mortally offended (/hj)
cheese - yes same, i liked it but that was all there was, it wasnt a super standout track. it was rlly underwhelming for me but some of the hook is super catchy so there is Redemption (tm) in store for cheese maybe
thunderous - mmm, yeah at first i totally agreed, i think they suffer from too much good music syndrome, that all their other tracks are such fucking bops its hard to stay at that level of perfection. the choreo was beautiful tho and tbh, the track has grown on me since ive been watching all the vids abt it. its my brothers favourite track
domino - YES GODAMMIT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE TITLE TRACK. the raps, the vocals, the vibes, the fucking domino sound in the back? i would have streamed that shit on repeat. but tbh, as good as it is, it doesnt have that sort of grandness/oomph that skz seems to like in their title tracks so i can see why they chose thunderous (tho domino would have been so good) *sigh*
ssick - yeah same, not my fave track by a long mile, the crowd cheering was a ?strange? choice and the chorus was a bit bare/empty, plus like i mentioned earlier, it was kinda funny to me for some reason but ill still play it if im playing thru the whole album
the view - ahh one of those not like other girls (/j) i honestly think its just a good party song, just a bop to play in the background when nobodys rlly paying much attention. its pretty generic pop music but catchy
sorry, i love you - hehe yeah i thought it was going to be sadder as well, but i rlly loved the fact that they all just got to sing, which almost never happens, i dont think ive heard felix sing for a long time, so i enjoyed it. wasnt rlly a standout track but i just casually like it. looking forward to the fic haha
silent cry - this song i swear, some bits are rlly good and then others are just? why?? it does sound like a dance song tho idk. definitely not one of my faves either
secret secret - YES its so good! its such a chill song and i love their vocals in it. the combination of lo-fi/fake strings backup stuff and their heavenly vocals just makes it *chefs kiss* im listening to it rn and just... its so beautiful. it gives me pumped up another day vibes ya know? like my pace is edgy get cool, this one is energetic another day i feel like. overall i love it
STAR LOST - ah thats so cool! i didnt know that! on first listen this song had a similar vibe to secret secret but then the beat came in and ahh its such a good song. i can totally imagine them putting this song to a concert footage vid, this song is so sweet.
red lights - LMAO YES ITS SO AWKWARD WHY DOES IT GO ON FOR SO LONG ah thats good! yeah good point, its quite intense hehe. but that is my fave trope and this is lowkey my favourite track on the album so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just the combination of hyunjins and chans voices, the backing music, the lyrics ahh red lights my beloved
surfin’ - yes lmao its always a shock, i feel like they should have put gone away in between them, but its such a fun cute song, i cant get rlly mad. yeah, as an aussie i think im contractually obligated to like beaches lol. sand im not such a fan of, but my familys rlly into fishing and my brother loves bodyboarding so we stay at a beach house at least twice a year and we live like 5 mins from 3 different beaches (hehe all aussie cities are on the coast lol) so thats cool. do you like beaches?
gone away - ah gone away my beloved, i love this song sm, its just so pure and showcases their vocals and lyrics so well. yes the pitch change is very out of the blue, i feel liek they went directly from seungmins soft vocals to hans powerful ones which was an interesting choice, but hey, im not complaining
wolfgang - YES IKR ah im so happy he got to be included in that era and song. yeah its such a full on song i cant rlly listen to it if im in a quiet mood but its very motivating :)
hehe mood, i hope they do! ahhh no rest, but at least you wont have to pull a blink and wait a year for any word from the group lol. im not rlly into nct but im excited for them! ah hopefully youll be able to sneak some rest into that chaotic schedule, with enhypen (idk if u stan but yeah) squeezed into it haha
<3 w.a. 🐺
i wheezed at partner in crime, it reminded me of smth. i have a lee know fic in the drafts that i wrote 'in honor' of him (and his departure-ish). i'll tag you when i finish it, if you want. it's a rather hilarious one.
oh my god. based on my experience on the collabs i've joined before, writing explicit shit for '01 & '02 is not accepted (nct's maknaes) but with enha's hyung line '01 & '02 somehow it's okay? i do a double take every time i see fics like those i mean, technically, it's legal but still what the fuck. maybe it's just not for me at the moment. not at us venting our frustration about this. it's just something that's so accepted here that i am (in all honesty) slightly uncomfortable about. but oh well. that's kpop writerblr for you.
man i could've linked all the fics in the ask instead so you wouldn't have to go looking for them! i think i saw you like in class the other day (the fic i renamed into sharp-tongued, god it took me a while to remember the new title). describing champagne problems as an angst to end all angst is one way to put what i was feeling back in december. it just hurt to write and admit?? if that ever happened to me i would prolly cry :d
okay back to the album talk! i love how you answered with more thoughts. i love exchanges like these! i am a victim of the cheese hook and it's now one of my favorite tracks in the album. PLS, TOO MUCH GOOD MUSIC SYNDROME. that's on our self-producing kings 😌💅 also, your brother has taste! as i am typing this, domino's currently playing in my head and i realized that too, that it doesn't have that 'vibe' of a skz title track. honestly, this could be a title track of another group. ssick is starting to grown on me because i found the beats cool kdjsk not the not like other girls 😭 the view is the generic pop that i don't like but i get why a lot of people enjoy it. sorry i love you scratches a certain itch that i find myself singing the first few lines every time i remember it. i too would want to hear felix sing more!
> a mini junction on the album talk bc i got side tracked. on that topic, i want skz to switch positions at some point like i know those allrounders are capable of doing so. specifically, i want to hear seungmin rap!!!! (yk in the recent weekly idol he talked faster than changbin in a challenge and changbin is like the fastest rapper in kpop that's active atm if im not mistaken. my dandy boy has some potential and i want it UNLEASHED.)
back to album talk. silent cry is basically sad music to twerk to. secret secret is definitely one of my favorite tracks :( i loved how you compared the tracks HAJSAH i burst out laughing bc yk what, you're right! i want to make a star lost edit of skz but i simply do not have the time i want to cry. i love the song so much. ok, my dreaded track, red lights. idt i have played the track since we last talked. my friend sent me the lyrics tho and i'm itching to write a twisted au out of it. idk if you're comfortable with yandere but somewhere along those themes. the obsessive type of love that's sweet at first but turns rotten. IMAGINE IF THEY PUT GONE AWAY BETWEEN ASHJA it's like going from 50 shades to the notebook.
i was about to ask if you lived near the coast and you literally mentions it here god im so stupid. yes i LOOOOOOOOOVE beaches so much. living in an archipelago is fun :( i live in a part of the country that's more island than city so every time i want some vitamin sea it's accessible. i heard the waves in australia are great :( anYWHOOO gone away :(( every time it plays im compelled to skip it because it makes me sAD AND NOWADAYS I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO BE SAD. contrary to you, i dislike my quiet moods because i tend to overthink a lot.
i have this little analogy about how there are stays that enjoy songs the generic pop + mellow songs and then there are other stays that enjoy the noisy tracks. in my mind, it's like a perfect balance that makes me feel like all the tracks are loved in the end. just by different people.
PULL A BLINK. bro i fucking hate yg entertainment. they have the biggest kpop girl group LOCKED in their basement when they could be (and i mean this in the most business-like way not morally) milking money of the quad. they're yg's biggest hope at not being bankrupt atm so it's a damn fucking mystery to me as to how they aren't doing anything. (jk i just realized lisa solo album soon, but i still need a ot4 cb hELLO)
i stopped looking forward to the teasers. rest > kpop boys. i don't want to sound like a cult member but have you tried checking out nct? are they just not your thing? (i get it tho, that's one hard group to get into). and yes i do stan enhypen!
wow i love how long these asks are! they're like online penpals. but i also want to ask about you! how have you been lately? are you feeling okay both mentally and physically? how's the weather there? do you have anything that you want to talk about? maybe an interesting book you read? feel free to bring up anything you want to share! i'm getting conscious about talking about myself HAJHSJ
and yet another long answer B) i am sooo sorry T___T should these ask exchanges feel draining to you, feel free to stop sending them in AAAA

YOU COULD WAIT
BANG CHAN
WORDS: 1337
REQUESTED? YES BY @yourguessisasgoodasminemate
A/N: I HOPE THIS IS OKAY?? LOVE YOUUU
PERMANENT TAG: @dreamescapeswriting
You and Chan had been friends for a very long time. You had moved to Australia when you were 8, quickly becoming best friends with your neighbour, Bang Chan. Despite you moving away when you turned 12 and Chan moving Korea after he aced the audition he attended (just like you said), you had keep in contact through it all. You supported him through his struggles when he was a trainee, when he went onto the survival show and felt like he had the lives of 8 other members on his shoulder and even now, with his 7 brothers slowly but surely dominating the music industry. You had also become friends with his band members, despite the slight language barrier, you were able to talk to all of them fine; you had weekly Skype calls where you’d binge food, play music and talk about your week. They’d talk about their practices, performances and interviews they had gone to and you’d say near enough the same thing every time.
“School work fucked up my sleeping pattern and work has me doing 40 hours overtime.” It always seemed like you could never change you schedule, which is why Felix did it for you. After long serious talks with their manager and 2 months worth of planning, you were sat in the back of a car (courtesy of JYP entertainment) on your way to the Stray Kids dorms. You had seen Chan’s mood slowly declining and you weren’t a fan of a sad kangaroo, and neither was the boys for that matter, so you had all your fingers crossed that you’d be able to help him out of his funk and get him back to being the dorky baby he was. After thanking the driver the best you could in your broken Korean, you climbed out the car and made your way towards the building. You messaged Hyunjin to let him know you’d arrived. You were waiting for a good 5 minutes before you felt a body crashing into you and wrapping you into a hug. You could hear Hyunjin laughing slightly,
“You tiny.” His broken English was muffled by your shoulder as you hugged him back just as tight.
“No, you’re too big.” He pulled back with his puppy dog smile before walking you into the building and towards your best friend. You couldn’t lie and say you weren’t nervous because, bitch, you were. You didn’t have butterflies, you had a whole damn zoo in your stomach, your mouth was dry and your palms started to become clammy. This was just Chan. Your best friend of 13 years… Your rock in life… The person you look to for approval in everything… The person who you love more than life itself. You knew that you love him more than a friend but with the distances and schedules, you decided you’d never act on it… until now. You had nearly nothing to loose, you knew that if Chan didn’t feel the same way, he would still be your best friend because a 13 year bond will not and can not be broken by feelings; maybe that was why you were nervous to see him. Nervous that the bond between you two had changed and everything would be different, what if- No. You were going to be fine, it was just Chan. When you entered the dorm, no one spoke any louder than a whisper, wanting to keep it quiet. You toed your shoes off and was swept away to a bedroom down the corridor by Felix.
“He’s in there, he hasn’t come out since this morning.” Felix’s deep voice mumbled as he stopped in front of a light brown door, knocking gently.
“Channie-hyung?” He called out to the other Aussie behind the door, only to have a Korean reply in a cold, sharp tone. Felix looked to you, all traces of hope in his eyes were gone and he gestured from you to the door with a sad smile, before turning and leaving you there having no idea what Chan had said to him to make him look so sad. You were ready to defend your (kind of) fellow Aussie. You knocked 3 times before opening the door, shutting it closely behind; the room was pitch black, he had his black out curtains drawn to not let the light of day in and he must’ve been under the pile of blankets in the middle of the bed. You heard him whine in Korean, you let him have his moment before you answered him.
“Chris, mate, I don’t speak Korean you know this. So move up and let me climb in with you, my sad baby koala needs hugs.” You had already started moving the corner of the blanket when he sprung up, grabbing you and hugging you closely. You felt him shake a little before you realised he was crying, fat tear drops dripped down the side of your neck and soaked through the shoulder of your shirt as you held him closely. You rubbed his back and your other hand held the back of his head, keeping his face in the crook of your neck, whispering sweet nothings to him. His breathing began to slow down, his grip loosened on you and he moved his head to look you in the eyes; you wiped the tears off his cheeks, sending him a small smile.
“Go have a shower yeah? I’ll be here when you get back and we can talk about it.” You squished his cheeks, kissing his nose before moving off the bed dragging Chan behind you to the bathroom. You let him have his time in the shower as you grabbed snacks out the cupboards and drinks from the fridge, scurrying back into Chan’s room avoiding any of the boys. You set up his Play Station, turning on Disney Plus and clicked on Princess and The Frog - he’d have to suck it up for tonight. You had changed into one of his hoodies and some shorts, crawling under the blankets that you had now straightened out when he opened the door. He was clad in black joggers and a white tank top, rubbing his frizzy hair dry with a towel. He, again, took his time before climbing into the bed beside you, resting his head on your shoulder; he leaned forward pressing play on the remote before wrapping his arms around you tightly. You ran your fingers through his damp hair,
“Wanna talk about it bub?” You felt him shake his head slightly, murmuring a small no. You nodded even though he couldn’t see you. “We don’t have to if you don’t want to. Whenever you’re ready I’ll be here for you, yeah? Doesn’t matter if I’m right here or back home. You can always come to me, I need you to remember that; none of us like seeing you sad, but you’re only human. You bleed when you fall down… that’s why me and the boys are gonna be right here to pick you back up.” You felt him shift slight, looking up at you with his cute brown eyes.
“Did you just reference a song in your motivational speech?” His string of giggles caused a big smile to spread on your face, you nodded.
“Made you smile didn’t it.” Maybe the confession can wait. You were happy with what you had and Chan’s well being was way more important right now. You could wait.

she was a rainbow [three - seo changbin]
→ seo changbin x f!you, university!au, in which changbin discovers that his feelings aren’t as easy to understand as he first may have thought → 7.4k+, it’s fluff. all fluff and cute things, with a last minute confession
part 3 of 3
“Do you remember when I got mad at you about the project?”
“Mhm.” Changbin was busy eating his noodles and didn’t pick up on the signs you were showing him. He tries to make a joke, since when he looks up you look a little sad. It was just the downturned lips and sparkly eyes. Glassy. Changbin means glassy. “You told me that you wouldn’t talk to me again.”
You hum, facing the table for a little longer than usual. “I was a bitch ‘cause my boyfriend and I broke up.”
“I didn’t know you had a boyfriend,” Changbin replies honestly. He should have expected it. You both hadn’t know each other that long then, and you already had broken up with your boyfriend? It surprises him. It angers him that someone hadn’t appreciated you enough to love you.
“Hwang Hyunjin?” His name burns some hatred into Changbin. That asshole? Yeah, everyone know who Hyunjin was. He didn’t realise you two dated, and he would have warned against it if he did know, even though you both weren’t that close. “Yeah, I should have realised that was going to end up that way.”
Changbin has a pick of everyone he wants.
Realistically, it’s always been the same for the Korean boy. He’s rich, he’s handsome and like hell does he know it. Ever since high school when girls would flock around him to see whether he really was that flawless in real life (he was, for the record) and if his hair really did stand to be the most beautiful style on the grounds. His spoiled ways proved to be too much for people to handle and they quickly disregarded him leaving the best option for him being to move abroad and act like he never even knew the streets of the various other countries he lived in.
He used people and he didn’t care, and that never really changed. Sure, he had two good friends. The first was a boy named Chan who usually would be found in the music production rooms with his headphones on, creating new songs like the genius kid he is. Chan is from Australia and didn’t have any other friends. Seeing him as, for lack of a better description, weak, Changbin managed to make friends with Chan but then realised he truly did value the friendship he had. Then there was Jisung, the first year student who had helped Changbin out in the music department when he first started. Changbin, in his own way, admired Jisung for carrying on his passion for music despite studying International Business. Another rich kid that Changbin emphasised with too much.
But Changbin realised in university he can’t be the person he used to be. There’s no cliques like in high school, the majority of people are just genuinely interested in studying and he often looks stupid when he expects the girls to come flocking in the clubs. His pearly white smile and equally white trainers don’t attract the attention he wants.
Not that he doesn’t get any. Changbin might not have the same charm as before but girls do love him. They love his persona and how if you hang around with him you automatically get the reputation of dating a rich kid who had a lot of money to spend which his parents sent him every week. Girls used him, actually. They used him for the reputation like he used to use them for the same thing.
It drives someone to loneliness, actually.
Changbin sits alone in lectures now. He used to sit in the middle with girls either side, sometimes not paying attention but often having a girl or two chatting about a possible date and another on the phone sending him photos he shouldn’t have been looking at in the middle of a lecture.
He walks into his class on international markets, his least favourite unit this year, expecting the back row of the lecture theatre to be completely empty like always. He pulls out one earphone, analysing the girl sat in the middle of the back row with an emotionless face; reading a book, studying each word, lost in the fantasy world which is created from it.
Changbin frowns. He takes a seat two places down and uses the seat to his left to keep his bag on so he can easily pull out his phone later to concentrate on something other than his lecturer who is the quietest, but most lovely Chinese lady to exist. The act manages to catch your attention as you don’t expect it. Your eyes meet Changbin’s and he feels like he’s frozen for a second.
“Sorry,” you mumble quickly, closing your book shut. Changbin is stuck looking at you so forgets to check what you’re reading. He hopes it’s worthwhile. “Do you want me to move up?”
Changbin shakes his head. He brings his fingers back through his freshly washed hair as he clears his throat and looks away. “It’s fine. Sorry.”
“You don’t need to apologise.”
When Changbin didn’t spend his Saturday nights watching anime and checking snapchat to see if there was a party he could jump in on, he would have took this as an opportunity to continue speaking to you. Right now he looks back towards the front of the lecture hall and scratches his ear as he sighs. He doesn’t care, if he’s honest.
“This is the lecture on international markets, right?” you ask him. Changbin doesn’t look back to you, as he really does not care all too much for what you’re saying, and instead continues looking forward and planning on what game he’ll be beating Jisung at this evening. “I’m new and I guess… everything has been kinda messed up for me so far. I never end up in the right place.”
Changbin hums, nodding quietly again. “Yeah, it is.”
“Okay,” you answer, smile on your lips. You seem to ignore his blatant lack of interest which surprises Changbin a little. He pulls the disinterested card on girls and usually they beg for his attention and make it known that they’re not happy which how he’s treating them.
You, on the other hand, don’t even bat an eyelid.
That’s the thing which surprises him the most, especially since his cold and unattentive personality would usually have a girl angry at him for not trying too much with them, or have them rolling their eyes and vowing never to speak with him again.
He spends far too much of the lecture watching you concentrate on the topic being taught from the corner of his eye, your face burnt into his memory whether he wants it or not. Primarily he would have hoped at some point you’d have noticed his gaze shifting your way every so often, but when you don’t acknowledge him until you’re asking him politely to move out of your way so you can get to your next class, Changbin decides that he’s not going to let you bother his thoughts again.
Except he does let it bother him, a little too much if he’s honest.
It’s easy to shake you from his mind each time he stares at a blank wall or zones out from Jisung speaking with him about something he doesn’t care all that much for. It’s not so easy when you force your actual presence into his space a few days later at his seminar for International Trade later that week.
You sit beside him at the back, which again was usually a row he sat in on his own, but don’t pay too much attention to him since you were busy texting someone and didn’t notice him in the corner.
At least he thought that, since you didn’t even look in his direction until the teacher had everyone talking for a reason Changbin didn’t know - since he was busy on Instagram (trying to find your profile, for science of course).
“Hey,” you say, turning to him and catching his attention. He panics a little, eyes wide as he locks his phone and places it face down just in case you saw him searching through group followers to find anyone who resembled you. “I saw you in the lecture on international markets.”
Changbin finds your way of speaking with him a little unusual. You remind him ever so slightly of Jisung. Forward, but friendly, and somewhat good intentions. “Yeah, that was me.”
“I’m (Y/N), by the way.”
“Great,” Changbin replies. He may have come across as more rude than he intended to be, though he wanted to make it less obvious he had been waiting for your name this entire time. Pretty, he thinks, and it suits you. He panics, again, and tries to recover himself in possibly the worst way possible, “do you need something?”
“We need to work in pairs for the project on trade policies. I was wondering if you wanted to work together?” you ask.
Damn, he had hoped for more than that.
“Oh. Right.” Changbin’s quota for smiling had already been filled up since Chan slipped in the kitchen this morning when he dropped his milk everywhere. He might have been able to give a little more happiness if you asked him for more than just uni work. Well, saying that, you wanted to spend some time with him so you must have liked him in some shape or form. “Sure. We can work together.”
Changbin responds to your smile with his own tiny one which he spares for you from the bottom of his heart. He regrets it when he realises you probably just sat with him because you remembered him and didn’t know anyone else, but he notices there are quite a few empty seats around the room that you could have sat in should you want to make some other friends.
So he takes it as a win, even if you did probably enjoy the familiar aspect of having Changbin around you. Oh well. His ego will take it the other way until he’s ready to accept he’s lonelier than ever and anyone is better company than Jisung at this point. No offence to Jisung, he was just going through a… phase.
“I’m Changbin, by the way.”
Giving you his name goes a long way to creating a relationship between the two of you, since you exchange numbers pretty soon after and Changbin walks home with a less blank than usual look on his face. When he gets home he lingers in the living room for longer than usual and even Chan asks him what’s made him so happy.
He could have been happier if it didn’t take you two days to actually ask text him. Sure, he could have texted first, but didn’t want to overstep a boundary you might have wanted to keep. He could message you but you knew what the project was about and he would have probably cleared his schedule for you anyway, so he waits patiently for you to come to him.
Maybe to restore that mindset that people wanted him, or maybe because he was nervous. The latter was pretty much impossible.
Providing that Changbin’s (pretty much) squeak when he sees you’ve finally text him after all this time.
You: Are you free tonight? Changbin: Yeah You: Okay, do you want to go to the library? We can meet there and work on the research? Changbin: It would be easier if you came to me. I’ll send you my address.
Changbin’s parents were always apprehensive about him giving out his address, hence why he went elsewhere for parties and avoided having people back here. He asked Chan and Jisung to live with him with a pretty cheap rent for the company of having them around, and so far they were the only ones he had ever actively asked to be at his.
This was a different story, however. He trusted you enough to give you an address that his parents specifically wanted on the downlow (they didn’t want anyone to take advantage of Changbin’s wealth, and you didn’t seem like the type to do that). The first one ever. Changbin was really firsts with you already.
It brings butterflies to his stomach, almost as many as when two minutes later he realises his room is a mess and he does his best to tidy everything in the twenty minutes he probably has before you arrive, if you lived where he suspected you did.
He was just about right - nineteen minutes after he started cleaning and making sure his washing was (less than neatly) placed in his washing bin, you’re knocking at his front door and he’s running out of his room begging that no one else heard the door and opens it for him.
Lest be it that Jisung or Chan caught wind of him inviting you here; Changbin would never hear the end of it.
Changbin, slightly out of breath from mad-pace cleaning and running at full speed to get the door, forgets the smile he promised himself he’d give you, instead staring blankly at you and letting you walk in. To his surprise, you ignore a greeting too and walk inside, looking around the room at the barely covered walls (apart from the mirror Jisung took pictures in, and a shelf for Chan’s books). “Your place is… Nice.”
“Yeah, nice,” Changbin replies, clearing his throat as he shuts the door. He’s usually so talkative, what is about you that stops him from being able to form coherent sentences? Changbin isn’t sure. He stumbles over some more words as he follows you in staring down everything he jointly owned. “It’s uh… let’s do some work in my room. My friends will only cause problems if we’re in here.”
You nod, walking after him as he leads you to his room on the back at the right. He shuts the door behind the two of you, weary that Jisung would be able to hear your voice and come to inspect all that was going on.
Changbin watches as you sit on his floor, beside his desk, leaving the chair open for him. Not wanting to be a dick, he sits opposite to you and copies your stance in the hopes you won’t feel awkward being in a new environment. Changbin will learn that one of the things he loves about you is that you never seemed to be bothered by things like that.
He’s busy watching you log into your laptop, so your voice catches him by surprise. “I was actually looking into some studies yesterday so we can use that as a starting point. Unless you want to start over, and we take a different approach?”
“You already did some work, so you clearly know what you’re doing.” Changbin likes that you’re smart, too. He reveals in the fact you’re not just there for him because of his money, or because he can music,or even because you thought he was cute. You’re there for work and he respects that. “Just let me know what you need doing and I’ll help.”
He respects it to the degree that he can, anyway, since he didn’t particularly like doing the work and also felt bad when you sat there and did absolutely everything on the project whilst he just admired your pretty eyelashes and soft lips and… That’s for another day.
He sees you a few nights of the week, and somehow he manages to avoid both Chan and Jisung the entire time. It’s for your sake more than his, the pair of them were both on the get Changbin a girlfriend bandwagon and it annoyed the shit out of him.
Which is why he panics when he knows that Chan and Jisung are going to be at home and you’re most likely going to see them.
“Can I come over today?”
“That’s forward. Why?” Changbin asks, surprised by your presence directly next to him in the lecture hall. You usually left at least one seat between the two of you, but given your panicked voice, you were trying to cozy up to him for a reason he already knew the answer to.
Maybe he’s acting like this because part of him really just wants you to ask to come over so you can both spend time together without the underpinning task of your joint project. Yeah, Changbin hopes that you see more to him than just work.
Judging from your deadpan look, that is not the case. “For the project. It’s due soon and we’ve barely done anything.”
“Because it’s not that deep.” Changbin replies, shrugging as he returns to his notepad and writes the date in the top left corner. “If we fail, we fail. They’ll pass us anyway because if they fail us they look bad on rankings. Why bother?”
You don’t react to his words. Changbin should try a different approach to get some emotion from you, and the right emotion at that. “So we can get a good grade.”
“That’s not important to me. I don’t even wanna be in that class,” Changbin tells you.
“But I do, and I want to do well. So please, Changbin, just put a bit of effort in for me? I won’t bother you after this project, I won’t even talk to you, just help me get a good grade and it’s done. We won’t work together again.”
Ouch.
That hurt Changbin more than it was meant to, or at least more than he should have allowed it to. He sits in silence the rest of the lecture, checking on you every so often out of the corner of his eye, though not bothering to distract you from your work any more than he already had.
Part of him thinks that he should have stopped you before you left the lecture hall to apologise, but unfortunately for him his mind doesn’t work that quickly and he’s not sure how to make it up to you straight away.
He’s not even sure why he’s so bothered. You don’t mean that much time him, you’re just his partner for a university project and you probably won’t speak to him again afterwards.
Except he hoped you did speak to him afterwards, and he hoped you saw a friendship like he did, because it’s not often that Changbin has someone on his mind so much.
He didn’t want to sound like a stalker or anything. He wasn’t going to follow you around, he wasn’t going to make sure you were the only person he was talking to (since he was pretty sure you had your own group of friends which included one of Chan’s other friends, Felix), but he couldn’t help but wonder what you were up to at different times, or if you were thinking about him too.
God, it was like you were a drug he caught wind of and now he’s hooked to.
Which is why, the next day, he shows up at the library where he knows you’ll be (since you were always there on that day at that time, according to your snapchat), with the intention to apologise to you in a way that only Changbin can do.
It takes a while to find you, but when he does, he’s glad you’re on your own because he had a feeling that Felix boy had a thing for you given that he posts about you all the time and looks at you with massive heart eyes that Changbin wasn’t particularly in the mood for.
“Hey,” he says, sitting on the opposite side of the booth to you.
“Changbin?” You ask, raising a brow at him. You were clearly surprised to see him, too. Given his slight smile in your direction, you warm to the possibility of a conversation to him and pull out your earphones, abandoning the work you had in front of you. “Hey. Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, it’s fine.”
Changbin finds himself at a loss for what to actually say to you. On one hand, he could say sorry, but that doesn’t really mean anything unless he’s actually showing you that he’s sorry. He should invite you over, he should ask you to do something with him, he should offer to finish the project for you, he should--
“Do you need something?” you ask, cutting off his thoughts before they got too much for him.
“Oh, yeah. I do, actually.” Changbin clears his throat, leaning forward on his elbows, hands clasped together. He can make it genuine, because for you he is genuinely apologetic. “I’m sorry about before. I was an asshole to you for no reason. You want to do well and so should I. So, you can spend the weekend at mine and we can finish the whole project then, and do it well. I cleared my schedule.”
His apology works like a charm, actually.
Probably because he was genuine towards you, and you could see that. He stays with you for a little bit but leaves eventually, heart a little warmer and blood free from any emotion he didn’t want (ie animosity). His walk home is filled with ideas for what you can both do together, since he didn’t intend to have this project take up the entire weekend, and he settles for getting you to play video games with him and actually asking you for your social media so it’s acceptable for you to follow him on everything.
Having you around fills him with this emotion he couldn’t quite process (ie, not animosity, but something more like adulation) and it does strike him exactly like the strongest drug he could have ever purchased. One right at the bottom of the black market, with a selling price of well over what he could have ever afford.
The difference with an actual drug? The effects were permanent. So maybe you were like therapy for a blackened and closed heart.
“I’m so tired,” you say, laying on his floor with your eyes shut.
He hides his silent chuckle at your form and his pout because he can’t stroke your hair like his gut told him to. Is that what you do in a relationship? Likely so. He wasn’t entirely sure, but that’s what they do on Jisung’s dramas. “I literally just got us pizza.”
“I know, but I’m still tired,” you reply, opening your eyes and looking straight to him, “we can just get up early and work on this tomorrow.”
Changbin shakes his head at your suggestion, gesturing over to your laptop that now has a black screen since you haven’t touched it in roughly… forty minutes. “No, I don’t get up early. We’re finishing this tonight. We just need three more paragraphs and we are done.”
You don’t concur. Changbin looks down to his keyboard, attempting to finish his sentence, though he feels your eyes on him and is compelled to look back to you and see what you need. Just like a relationship.
“What?” Changbin asks, studying your pout like he’s never seen one before. Well, he has, but mostly because he was rejecting a girl who didn’t care all too much for him. “Why are you doing that?”
When he brings up your pouting, you stop and return to an emotionless stare. After a few moments of unbroken eye contact, you sit up and push the chair from your face adjusting your sleeves. “Let’s just take a break then okay?”
“A break?” Changbin repeats, one brow slightly raised. He couldn’t dream of saying no to you again, since last time he hurt your feelings and he wasn’t ready to do that again. He likes talking to you. You’re interesting, and you make him feel like he is too. Whatever feelings you have towards him, it’s most definitely mutual. “Okay, we’ll take a break. For five minutes.”
“Tell me more about you, Changbin.”
“What do you want to know?” Changbin replies, noticing how quick you jump on the opportunity to ask him something person. Did you can about him? It would seem to be that way. No one really wants to know about him. He didnt even want to talk about him, either.
But for you, he’ll say everything.
“Anything. Everything. Tell me your life story. That will get my mind working again so we finish this and have tomorrow to do whatever we want,” you return.
Changbin assumes you’ve forgotten the whole not talking after the project is over, and he’s happier than he’d want to admit about it.
That’s almost a turning point in your relationship. Almost because it changes again, all thanks to him, but that marked the two of you actually being friends, and Changbin likes that more than he would care to admit, too.
And friendship for him is more than he could have ever thought to ask for.
He thought that he say Chan and Jisung a lot, but compared to you it was nothing. The nights he would spend on his own were suddenly filled with your presence and he actually enjoyed being around other people for once, in the nicest way. There was something about his mostly extroverted but potentially introverted persona that meant he enjoyed the loneliness in the slightest way.
Except now, he didn’t at all.
He’d invite you over whenever he could, make sure that he had you around him when you were able to. Though your days were reserved for your other friends, which did include Felix and his friends, you spend your evenings with Changbin doing both work and friend things.
He enjoyed both, much to his surprise, but it was probably because he enjoyed the way you told him about business things much more than his teachers. Did he ever mention he loved how smart you were? Because he does, so much.
He also loves that you’re so effortlessly his best friend, in every way that you can be.
“No, Changbin,” you say, pushing his hands away from you. He acts surprised by your defiance, not giving up on having you play like you had agreed. You, however, continue your protests with a “stop it. Don’t make me say it again.”
“You started it! I’m sorry you’re a major pussy and can’t play horror games. We said we would take turns!”
“It’s not funny!” You look away from him with a pout, the very one he’s grown so fond of over the time he’s know you, and face the door. Hearing Chan and Jisung chanting at the TV over some football game that was on, probably wasn’t the best thing for the situation. “Your friends probably think I’m stupid. I screamed loud.”
“Wanna bet?” Changbin asks, challenging your words in the best way he knows how.
Because you haven’t actually met the double team of Christopher ‘Chan’ Bang and Han Jisung, and Changbin knows that people aren’t usually that easy to adapt to their friend’s other friends.
If you’re easy to warm up to them, then Changbin knows you’re going to be easy for him to get on well with in the future. Who knows, maybe he can extend his relationship with you and you can be more than friends? That’s on him though, since he’s sure you don’t actually have any feelings towards him and he’s going to respect that until he’s one hundred per cent sure that confessing you is the most appropriate thing to do.
So Changbin drags you out to his friends, despite your very basic protests, planting you straight in front of the TV and making sure to deal with Chan and Jisung’s eye rolls and complaints that they were interrupting whatever team was playing.
“Chan, Jisung. Do you think she’s stupid?” Changbin asks, his dominance in their friendship clear from how he approaches them. He looks between them, then to you, switching between the two until he gets the answer he’s looking for.
“Stupid?” Chan repeats, looking over to you. He shakes his head, careless to what Changbin’s actually intentions were here. “No, you were playing Outlast, weren’t you?”
Jisung, on the other hand, has the full intentions to make sure that Changbin regrets ever trying to impress you with his friends. The youngest has a smirk as he directs his comments at both of you, but mostly you. “Hyung, you were screaming louder than her, you’re the pussy.”
Honestly, Changbin didn’t know someone’s laugh could brighten his entire day.
But that’s normal right?
To want to make you laugh every day, to listen to it on reply, to have to you laughing at something he said (so that you’re laughing because of him)?
He’s not sure, maybe he’s got a delusional idea of what is right and what is wrong in his head. Either way, Changbin vows that your friendship will be good and you’ll enjoy every minute of it that you’re in it with him.
And that means that you’ll be doing everything with him, whether you like it or not.
Changbin hopes you do like it, though. He can’t keep wondering whether you will, so he decides one day when you’re both walking to class together that he should check. “Let’s do more stuff together.”
“More stuff?” you repeat, looking up to him questioningly. He nods, though you’re still not buying. “You literally leave the house for lectures and that’s it.”
“But you like doing stuff, so I’ll do it with you,” Changbin says, hoping to convince you with a little bit of affection.
That works well, too.
Changbin went from not being able to talk to you, struggling to know what to reply to you, and being as awkward as he ever could be around a person, to silently begging for you to want to spend more time with him.
And do you? Well, Changbin would wait for you to answer that. At first he thinks not, since you don’t approach him with anything, but when you spot him at the cafeteria in one of the business buildings, and you run after him with a wide smile, he changes his mind a little.
Skip the formalities, a greeting from you is a form of therapy within itself.
“There’s this thing.”
Changbin hums, looking to you as you both approach the elevator to go to your class on the third floor. “Right. This thing.”
“Can you come with me?” you ask, surprising him a little. He doesn’t frown, his eyes just widen a little. You must have noticed because you’re quick to try and convince him. “It won’t take up too much of your evening. I don’t want to go on my own.”
Oh, you must want him to come if you're convincing him.
“I don’t even know what it is you want me to come to,” Changbin returns, shrugging.
“It’s just a… poetry, thing.” Changbin thinks it’s cute, though keeps his look placid to make sure you’re not quick to read him. He worries, given that you’re basically an empath, you’ll catch onto the fact that his feelings are becoming a bit too prominent for him to control. “Boring, I know. I’ll make it up to you, but you might enjoy it. Who knows.”
He didn’t need to enjoy it to go along; Changbin was going to seize an opportunity to spend some time with you on your invitation again.
Since your presence was the drug he couldn’t kick from his system as of yet, or a therapy session he paid above and beyond for, and a poetry session with you was a strange way of getting a high, or help, he needed.
To imagine you each time they spoke of a starry sky, a roaring fire, even a firework that explodes in the sky, he would have paid a lot for that anyway.
And he got it for free.
Spending time with you was something Changbin would have given a lot up for. As it turns out, you liked it too, since you let him walk you home and even invited him in (politely asking him not to judge your place since you weren’t rich and student loans didn’t provide that much to an international student anyway). No, nothing happened, as much as anyone may have thought it did.
Changbin didn’t have the intentions to do something with you, and maybe you felt the same. He didn’t notice you didn’t have any pictures of you with any guys at home, or their clothes in your room, so maybe he did have a chance.
That was a weight off his shoulders, at the very least. You probably didn’t have a boyfriend, and he was moving more in that direction now.
“Hey,” Changbin says, distracting you for the lecturer at the front. You look over to him, since you both sit directly next to each other now, and nod for him to continue. “Are you free, later?”
You nod again. “All day, why?”
“Do you want to do something together?”
“Sure,” you return, bringing some relief to Changbin’s heart that was beating at about 200 miles an hour. He lets his cheeks twitch a little, but never does actually smile at you. You keep your voice down but still keep your interest at hand, “what do you have in mind?”
Changbin shrugs, passing his phone across the desk to you, since he had a film already opened that he thought would be cute to see with you. A horror movie, at that, but it was up his alley and yours too. “This movie came out recently and if you wanted to, we can see it together?”
It’s a terrifying three seconds waiting for you to answer. “I’d like that.”
So seeing a movie becomes your weekly thing together, alongside the things you already do. You really do end up spending every night with him, the bonus being that you also get along well with Jisung and Chan too, and the four of you somehow form a friendship that Changbin would never have been able to foresee in the past.
You were once someone he sat a few seats from in a lecture, and now you’re standing in his kitchen playing hot potato with a sponge that Jisung had used to mop up (quite a bit of) soy sauce from the side that he spilt. Given that Chan and Jisung had been throwing at each other, and then Jisung involved you, it was a given Changbin was going to get involved to.
“Hey Changbin,” you shout, the boy looking up to you with wide eyes as he leaves the bathroom, still drying his hands on his jeans, “think fast.”
Changbin’s heart is heavy because you remembered to include him, of course he very much enjoys your thoughts going straight to him, so he doesn’t get much time to react to a soy sauce soaked sponge launched directly at his chest. “Hey!”
“I said think fast!”
Chasing you into his bedroom is one way to get a girl in there, even if it’s because you know he works out and if threw that back at you, you would probably lose a rib because of the sheer force. Not that he would actually do that - he throws it back to Chan who looks at the two of you like you are a resident married couple.
No that you have to know that. “Get back here!”
Yeah, his bedroom. You have a lot of memories there. From getting to know him in there, and finally understanding what goes on in his deep, dark mind, all the way to watching horror movies together and eventually sleeping in his bed together.
On your demand that is. You think Changbin has it in him to ask if you want to stay over? The poor boy could barely get out 4 words about his feelings, yet alone ask you something like sleep in my bed or even just stay over, and he would stay on the couch.
“Your bed is so comfortable.” Your words, like always, catch him off guard. He was working on a song with both Jisung and Chan, and he had the lucky job of producing the final product. “Let me sleep here.”
Changbin avoids having another internal meltdown and deals with this by not actually dealing with it at all. He nods, noticing that you’re pretty comfortable already. “Okay.”
“Okay,” you repeat, slightly questioning his response. Did you expect him to say yes? Probably not. Changbin gave you the impression he liked his personal space. Luckily he knew he would be pretty boring tonight and would be up to the early hours of the morning, so letting you sleep meant he could get on with the song without the recurring thought of you. “I bet girls ask you to do this all the time.”
“Sure,” Changbin answers. You weren’t wrong, they used to, but he hadn’t even spoken to another girl since… you came into his life.
He has all of about ten minutes of actual music time before he realises you’re already asleep, tucked away in the corner of his bed under the black blanket he usually didn’t use because it got to hot.
You’re cute when you sleep. Changbin can’t help the warm feeling that spreads over him as he admires you from the other side of the room, smiling to himself as he tries his very best to get on with the song he wanted to.
He does have to stop a few times to look back at you, check you were okay and we’re too cold (or too hot, for that matter), but he finishes what he wanted to around 4am and practically collapses in the bed beside you without even considering whether he should have slept on the floor instead.
His eyes were too heavy and mind clouded by music to even consider that you were nothing but his friend and the few inches of space between the two of you was easily filled if one of you moved.
If both of you moved, well… it would mean you ended up with your head on his shoulder, his arm around you and resting on your waist.
“Sorry,” you say softly, lifting your body when you realise what position you’re in. Changbin was an active participant in that too, but you probably didn’t realise. It will forever remain a mystery which one of you initiated the (kind of) cuddling. “I didn’t mean to…”
Changbin shakes his head, pulling you back down to where you were before when he sees the numbers 07 on his clock at the end of his bed. He’s too tired to notice you place your arm over his chest, and he’s practically sleeping again when he mumbles to you that he’s okay with it. “It’s fine. I didn’t say anything.”
That’s practically where your relationship starts to change. Not that you both confessed your feelings to one another when you woke up later, but there was a definite shift in the dynamic between the two of you.
Things continue as normal, with a hint of a romantic feeling between the two of you, though neither of you address it. Changbin’s content with where you both are, even if he realises that he does get jealous of you and Felix, you and whoever isn’t him, because he most definitely has feelings towards you which reflect that of a boyfriend.
A boyfriend you already had, mind you.
Of course Changbin reports this information back to Jisung (and Chan, since he was there) since the youngest had been the first to realise that Changbin was, you know, in love with you.
Even before Changbin. That little asshole figured it all from the silence of his own bedroom. Is it weird that he was listening through the walls to figure out just how his hyung felt towards the pretty girl who kept coming over. Then he shared it with Chan, who also had his suspicions, but kept it quiet.
“He said he didn’t love her,” Jisung retells a tale he heard from one of his other friends who knew Hyunjin from some society, Woojin. “What a dick.”
“You should tell her how you feel,” Chan interjects, seeing an opportunity for things to be made better.
Changbin, however, does not see things the same way. It’s probably his fear for the situation, a genuine worry that anyone who loves another has when it comes to confessing. “What if it makes things worse?”
“No, it won’t,” Jisung states, taking a bite from his apple.
“You sound sure.”
Jisung nods at Changbin’s words, finishing his bite before talking. The youngest, like most of the youngest in friendship groups, sees himself as a bit of a prodigy in relationships. Didn’t Changbin write the love songs? He did. Jisung nods again before confirming. “‘Cause I’m right.”
Changbin hopes Jisung’s right, too.
He’s a nervous wreck the entire day he plans to tell you how he feels.
Probably the fear of rejection, no matter how much Jisung told him that he wouldn’t be rejected. He asked to meet you at 1pm and he shows up twenty minutes early, expecting to be alone, but sees you sitting at the able you both claimed as your own in the cafe near to uni.
He panics briefly, walking away with his head hung low, though stops himself and walks back to you when he remembers that he’s doing this for more than just his own state of mind.
It’s so that you know not everyone is like Hwang Hyunjin, and you can have someone love you.
“Can we talk?” Changbin says, stopping beside the table with wide eyes.
“About what?” You look up to him and frown at his expression. Though you gesture of the seat opposite to you, Changbin takes a few moments to actually sit down. He’s surprised you already bought him coffee, and it’s exactly how he likes it too. “You’re the second person today who looks like they’re going to pass out on me. Seriously, are you okay, Changbin?”
“I’m fine,” Changbin answers.
The coffee is hot and burns his tongue a little. He tries his best not to react, staring at you with the most affection he can actually process. It’s for the best to tell you, and it won’t change things drastically. If you wanted to reject him, you wouldn’t have returned some of his signals. Whatever they were. Jisung was convinced they were there.
Fuck it. Changbin places his hands flat on the table when he realises that he needs to just say it rather than keep it as a thought in his mind.“I needed to admit to you that… I’ve seen you differently, recently.”
“Differently?”
You were clearly both on different wavelengths.
“I think I love you.”
“Love me?”
“Well, I didn’t think it was love but then I was thinking more about it and I realised that every time I’m with you, it’s like the sun has a single beam that is shining right down on me and I literally just want to stare at you and listen to you laugh and watch you smile because you are the very definition of what makes me happy and it’s hard for me to explain because I know how much you doubt yourself and you will never see yourself the way that I see you, but… I do love you, and there’s nothing in this world that I could want more than showing you that.”
Changbin could put that in a love song.
He’s breath is a little shaky as you look back at him without an answer. He doesn’t particularly need one, lest it be for you to admit that you do actually feel the same way towards him. He stops thinking about it, like he should have a long time ago, and asks you what he’s wanted to since you slept in his arms and you laughed at his jokes and you showed an interest in him that no one else ever had.
“So please, for the sake of my own sanity, will you be my girlfriend and let me show you the love that no one else has?”
He’s sure that no matter what answer you give to him, he’ll always love you anyway.
For you were the one that showed him what it’s like to have a different perspective on life, too.
You didn’t see yourself the way he saw you, but it was the same vice versa. The very definition for happiness in your own personal dictionary always had his name written down in it. Seo Changbin, the one who could love you back.
The song that never leaves your memory.
The key to a lock that was never opened before.
Saying no wasn’t an option.
You were a rainbow, and Changbin had been waiting for you the entire storm.

Stray kids reaction to seeing you in swimwear for the first time
Slightly suggestive
😏thanks for requesting darling!! I hope you enjoy😏
Bang Chan:
while visiting his family in Australia, Chan decided to take you to the pool he used to go to as a child. This wasn’t planned because he wanted to see you in a swimsuit, but he knew that he’d be able to and he wasn’t going to pass up on the opportunity.
You went into separate changing cubicles and got changed. You guys, being the smart couple that you were, had already put your swimming attire on underneath your normal clothes so it didn’t take too long, but Chan was done first so he waited outside for you. You finally came out, pushing your hair out of your face while Chris stood gobsmacked. He took hold of your hands after bushing down your arms. He smiled at you and gave you the biggest kiss, not caring for anyone watching.
“Sorry, you just look amazing!”
Woojin:
You and Woojin had been dating for a year so he decided to surprise you will a mini break for your anniversary. You arrived at his house with a small suitcase and asked him politely if he’d give his opinion on a few of your outfit choices since you weren’t 100% sure on the weather.
10 hoodies later and you finally came into his living room in only a bikini. He smiled at you softly before saying “it’s perfect.” He didn’t want to make a big fuss over it because he didn’t want you to get embarrassed, maybe on your holiday he’d say something more but for now, he wanted to keep it subtle. Didn’t stop him from dreaming about you that night though.
“I think the pool is indoors, I’m sure you’ll be warm enough, honey.”
Lee Know:
This slime ball knew that if he planned a pool date he’d be able to see you in a swimming costume, so that’s what he did. You received a text on your day off from your boyfriend asking you to meet him at the pool, so you did so. When you questioned him as to why you were here on your day off instead of snuggled up in bed, he simply replied with “you’re too lazy” which you couldn’t deny.
That day, you’d planned to wear your sexiest swim suit because you knew exactly what Minho’s intentions were, of course you wanted him to suffer. When he finally laid eyes on you, he smirked, making sure you knew it was a joke and he wasn’t going to straight up have you in the pool or smth.
“Wow, why did I do this to myself? You’re absolutely stunning.”
Changbin:
While visiting your home town you decided to take Changbin to a near by beach. You threw your necessities into your beach bag while in the bathroom and Changbin put on a T-shirt to pair with this swimming trunks.
You innocently strolled out of your bathroom wearing your swim suit and a cute wrap that was slightly see through. Changbin dramatically sat down on the bed, raising his eyebrows flirtatiously. His lips formed a pouty o shape before he smiled greasily. You pointed at the door to indicate that you were gonna go now whether he was or not, but he quickly ran after you placing his hands on your hips.
“Perhaps we should forget the beach.”
(Lol who would choose the beach in this situation smh)
Hyunjin:
For your birthday, you received a spa day voucher from your cousin and decided to take your boyfriend, Hyunjin, with you. You went into separate changing rooms and returned at similar times, wearing nothing but a robe, swimming attire and flip flops.
You first went for a massage. The two masseuses told you to take of your robes and Hyunjin looked over to you immediately, a little panicked. But to his surprise, you had already removed your robe. He took a double take, his eyes finally falling to the floor when you look back at him. He smiled to the ground.
“Where was the warning?”
Han:
A water park date should be fun, right? Your turn to organise the date and this is what you settled on, what could go wrong? You called him the night before to update him on your choice while he stuttered on the other side. “But y/n... that means... you... will be wearing... a swim suit” he whispered as if it was a sin. You explained to him that it was fine and you’d get to see him shirtless so it’s a win win and he soon came around to the idea.
However, when the day came, he was so nervous, for no reason. He stood waiting for you, not wanting to go on anything without you. You stepped out, dressed in a pale lilac coloured swimming costume, while Jisung tried to focus on just looking at your face. “What do you think?” You asked, running your hands down your body like on those cringy adds.
“I think... we should add you to 3racha because you look hot and spicy” he winked before you pushed him into the pool.
Felix:
You couldn’t swim... but you really wanted to learn!! So Felix, the amazing boyfriend he is, found time in his tight schedule to help you. Your first lesson was today, and you were really nervous. You’d brought the nicest swimming costume you could find, hoping that Felix wouldn’t get mad because he’d be too distracted.
When you stepped out of the changing room and jumped into the pool, he was right there dragging your hand to the bar at the side of the pool. He ran his hands down your body in a joking manner and stopped himself from kissing you in front of the kids also in the pool.
“I know your tactics y/n, they aren’t gonna work on me. That colour really does look good on you though.”
Seungmin:
Grabbing your bag, you shut the door of your parent’s car and made your way towards Seungmin who was stood patiently waiting for you at the entrance of your local indoor water park. You were a teeeeny bit late, but he didn’t mind, he was just excited to throw water at you and get you stuck in the rapids.
You quickly changed and met him in the calm kiddy pool which was empty since it was a school night. You stood at the edge, slightly conscious that he was going to push you in from behind since you couldn’t spot him in the pool. Instead, he came up behind you and wrapped his arms around you, a nice surprise for once. He turned you around and took a full look at you before smiling and proceeding to push you into the pool for looking so damn good.
“I couldn’t resist, I also don’t want anyone else to see you looking so good, okay?!?”
I.N:
Your younger sister’s birthday party was TODAY and you had yet to buy a swim suit. You rushed out that morning, accompanied by Jeongin who was also going to her party, to buy one suitable. You headed to your favourite shop and found one you liked immediately.
You wanted to go try it on, so Jeongin waited outside but soon received a picture. You asked for his opinion, a simple question right? Wrong!!! Jeongin typed over 500 messages to try and tell you that he liked it, but he just couldn’t find the right words so instead just sent a few heart eye emojis. How was he supposed to cope later that day when he actually get to see you wearing it in the flesh?!
“Yeah it was erm... nice”

12:13pm
College wasn’t as bad as everyone had made it out to be before you. Sure, there was a hell of a lot of work to do, but you had that in high school, so what difference did a bit more make?
What they didn’t tell you though, was how much more boring these lectures were.
You sat there, tapping your pencil onto the table as you sighed, looking up to the ceiling and somehow hoping the time would pass just a bit quicker.
“Ah, what a pleasure it is for you to finally join us.. hwang hyunjin”
The boy walked in, a lazy smirk spreading across his face. The smell of cologne and perfume mixed flooded your nose as he walked past, slumping down into his seat and cocking his head to the side. Leaning back in your chair, you turned your attention to the boy who hadn’t been in school for the past four days.
Taking in his dark messy hair, the black tops and tight jeans that made the girls drool, his bicep tattoo that only showed slightly when he wore t-shirts and his bloody lip ring that sent everyone, even you, into a frenzy.
Hyunjin turned his head to you and raised an eyebrow, making you swallow hard and turn your attention back to the teacher. It’s like you could feel the smirk on his face as he stretched his legs out past the table, placing a new chewing gum into his mouth.
“You can pack your things away now, remember to do page 189 by Monday”
Making a mental note to do the homework before the weekend started, you slipped your books into your bag and picked it up, placing it over your shoulder and walking towards the door.
“Hwang Hyunjin and Y/N L/N, may I have a word?”
You froze on the spot, your classmates looking at you and then to Hyunjin as they walked out to go to lunch. Placing your bag onto one of the chairs, you trudged over to the teacher’s desk and leaned against one of the tables, looking to the side as Hyunjin came up behind you, sliding himself onto one of the tables.
“Mrs Hwang has contacted the college and has expressed concern over your learning Hyunjin, especially in this lesson”
“So she decided to contact you guys before talking to me about it? how typical of her” Hyunjin muttered
Your teacher ignored the comment and continued. “So she suggested on a tutor for you in this subject, to help you along before your exam. As a college, we try and meet the requests of all parents and for this, we chose Y/N to be your new tutor”
Coughing loudly, you stared wide eyed at her and opened your mouth to protest. Hyunjin beat you to it.
“Yeah, that’s not going to happen. I don’t need anyone to be my tutor, so none of you need to waste your time”
“This is not to be debated Hyunjin. Y/N is going to tutor you. It’s up to you whether you attend or not, but can you really afford to fail this subject?”
Hyunjin scoffed, picking up his backpack and throwing it over his shoulder. “Let’s be honest, I don’t really care, I don’t need this subject”
With that, he walked out of the classroom, the door slamming behind him.
————
“Felix, I don’t think you understand how much I don’t want to do this” you groaned into the table.
Felix had been your best friend since the first day of high school. He to was from Australia, so you both bonded over that, and he was fun to be around. Seungmin had joined your duo the next day, all three of you bonding over the fact you hated chemistry. A week later, Mia and Emilie moved from America to Seoul, and had joined trio the same day. So, you were a five, and it stayed that way throughout the whole of high school, and now into college.
“Come on Y/N, it probably won’t be as bad as you think”
“Felix, stop lying, we know it’s gonna be bad”
‘Seungmin stop being so negative I’m trying to help!”
You stared at the two boys arguing before looking over at Emilie, who had taken a seat next to you.
“What’s wrong? And why do you look like you’re about to cry?”
“Because I am. I’ve been assigned to tutor Hyunjin”
Emilie gawked at you, an apologetic smile soon appearing on her face. “Damn that sucks. Has he said anything about it?”
“No, just that he didn’t need me to be it, and that we were wasting our time trying”
“Well, don’t bother helping him then”
You all looked up to see Mia standing there, a tray of food in her hands. Placing it down on the table, she slid in next to Seungmin and stared at you.
“But Miss J—“
“Who cares, if he won’t listen to you or at least speak to you, don’t bother wasting your time.”
Looking at the others, who all just shrugged at you, you sighed.
“Alright then, if he wants help, he’ll have to come to me. I’m not chasing after him”
————
You didn’t have a lesson after lunch, so you went to sit in the gym hall. The gym hall was always open, and this is where most people want if they didn’t have a lesson at a certain time. It also was where most of the freshman girls went, to gawk at the members of the dance team.
Climbing up the steps past a group of girls in your head, who had obviously come just to watch the dance members become sweaty, you sat down on the bench and pulled your phone out, plugging your earphones in.
“Hey”
Peering up, you saw a boy, who you knew as Jaeho, standing next to you.
“Hey”
Jaeho was in the same year as you, and on the dance team. You had heard he tried out to be the dance captain, but no one was going to beat the current dance captain, Lee Minho, who was a junior and also in your brother’s year.
“Mind if I sit?”
“Uhm.. no”
He sat next to you, both of you watching as the girls sitting in front of you turned round, waving and giggling as Jaeho winked at them. You swallowed, slightly uncomfortable at the attention he was bringing to you both.
“How are you?”
“I-I’m good. You?”
“Better now I’m with you”
You could feel your face heat up in embarrassment, and the pit of cringe starting to swallow you up from the inside out.
“Listen how would you lik—“
“Yo Jaeho, I don’t recall the gym hall being a date zone, do you?”
Jaeho shot his head towards the floor area, you following suit, seeing Minho standing there, arms folded over his chest, an unimpressed look on his face. Behind Minho stood the other boys apart of the dance team, including Hyunjin. Jaeho swallowed, standing up and jogging down to the others.
“No I don’t, sorry hyung”
“That’s what I thought”
You grinned at Minho, who just gave you a cheeky smile before getting on with the practice. You did enjoy watching their practices and how invested they all got with perfecting every single move, and also how smooth they were at dancing, especially Minho...and Hyunjin.
You knew he had always had a good dancing gene, but you didn’t know he danced that well. You moved your eyesight to the girls sitting in front of you, who were swooning over the boys.
“Don’t they just look so hot!”
“Especially Minho, look how good he looks ugh”
“But look at Hyunjin. God I’d love to run my fingers through his hair”
Scrunching your face up in disgust, you fumbled for your earphones, putting them in to block out the girls, unsuitable, comments.
Dance practice finished an hour, when college ended, and Hyunjin was tired. He reached down to grab his water bottle, glancing up to see Jaeho staring at you, a smirk playing in his face. Hyunjin rolled his eyes, throwing a towel at the boy.
“Use that to wipe the drool off your face Jung”
“Fuck off Hwang”
“Hey! Watch your language Jaeho. And I really don’t appreciate goggling my friend’s little sister, so watch it”
Hyunjin turned to see Minho standing there, his classic unimpressed look back on his face.
“Minho hy—“
“I don’t want to hear an excuse Jaeho. You’re here to dance, not date. Do that in your own time, like I’ve told you about ten times this month”
Jaeho groaned, walking off in a huff. The two boys watched as you collected your bag and got up, walking out of the gym.
“He’s gonna end up getting his ass kicked by someone one day” Minho muttered, taking a gulp of his water. “Uhm, Jin, how’s Jisung? I haven’t seen him around lately”
“He’s alright, he had some family matters but I think it’s sorted now”
“Ah that’s alright then. See you soon”
The taller boy nodded, picking up his bag and throwing it over his shoulder. He sighed, running a hand through his hair before walking out of the gym.
6:09pm
You squeezed the water out of your hair with a towel. Mia and Emilie had gone out for food with Felix and Seungmin, but you were too tired to go out, so you decided to stay in. You folded up the towel and threw it into the laundry basket, before jumping onto your bed and lying down. Your eyes started to close slowly when a knock on the door startled you. Climbing off your bed, you walked towards the door and opened it slowly, only to see Hyunjin standing there, looking newly showered.
“What do you want Hyunjin?” You asked, slightly annoyed at the boy.
“I thought you were tutoring me?”
He barged past you, throwing his bag onto the floor and plopping down onto a bed, which clearly wasn’t yours.
“That’s not my bed, that’s Mia’s”
“And does it look like I care?”
“Can, can you just sit on my bed? I don’t want her to get mad”
The boy groaned, slumping over to your bed and sitting down. Picking up his bag, you threw it towards him, the boy catching it effortlessly and smirking at you.
“If I’m honest, I don’t really want you in here. You said you didn’t want to be tutored and I don’t want to waste my free time. Can you just leave?”
“Yeah, I thought about not coming, but then I was like, no, I’ll come”
“Why?”
“I don’t know, to see how you’ve been since we, stopped being best friends”
You scoffed, sitting down on Emelie’s bed and glaring harshly at him. “No you prick, you don’t get to come in here and sta—“
Interrupting your heated argument was a sharp knock at the door. You both looked towards the door, you standing up and walking over to it, flinging it open.
“Hey beautiful”
Jaeho
You tried to hide the embarrassment that you could feel slowly creeping up on you, dreading that fact that Hyunjin would be able to hear everything he was saying to you.
“Hey. Are you okay? Do you need something?”
“I’m great, just thought I’d stop by before heading back to my dorm”
“Where’d you get back from? Making out with girl number... 107?”
You glimpsed behind you to see Hyunjin standing behind you, arms crossed and a playful look on his face.
“What are you doing here Hwang?” Jaeho snarled at the boy, emphasising the ‘you’
“None of your business Jung” Hyunjin spat back
“Then it doesn’t matter where I’ve been before here”
“Everyone knows that you can’t keep your dick in your pants man”
“Listen here fuc—“
“Shut up! Both of you!”
The pair looked at you, anger stretching across you features.
“Jaeho, I appreciate it, but can you leave? Thanks”
He rolled his eyes, giving Hyunjin a last glare before walking off. You slammed the door before turning around and barging past the boy, throwing your arms up in the air.
“What the fuck is wrong with you Hyunjin! You can’t just barge in here, expect me to tutor you when you haven’t wanted anything to do with me for the past four years! You can’t stop a boy from speaking to me, even if you don’t like him!”
Hyunjin stared at you, his bag now on his shoulder and his hands resting on his hips.
“You don’t want anything to do with Jaeho, he’s no good.”
“And neither are you!”
He just shrugged, turning away and opening the door. Before he left, he looked over his shoulder, winking at you.
“You’re hot when you’re pissed by the way”

favorite variable ✽ bang chan
word count: 1613
genre: fluff
pairing: reader x bang chan
description: you worked with variables, but he was your favorite.
Bang Chan had always been a hard-worker. Since his young swimming competitions to his first JYPE audition back in Australia. You knew that much. And you were always proud of him; for the debut, to the first win, to the first mixtape. But there were moments– more often than not,– in which you’d wish you two could be a normal couple. One that he didn’t have to– or want to– stay in the studio until ungodly hours in the morning; one in which you weren’t magazine photographer that had to wake up at those same ungodly hours in the morning to catch the perfect sunlight in the fucking daisy fields that the set crew found just an hour away. You wish you could go to sleep with him, instead of wishing him goodnight when you woke up. However, things were as they were, and you were quite happy with them. Seeing his face at least once a day made you happy.
The first time you got a call from one of the boys you were two hours away from the city, shooting this specific model that was a pain in the ass with her demands and working hours, so taking Hyunjin’s call was a relief. It didn’t last long though; apparently Chan fainted during practice and he was now home resting. You ran to the car, telling the driver to take you home as fast as possible. He was fine once you had gotten there, just really tired, so you cuddled him to sleep and didn’t let him up until he got at least ten hours of full sleep.
Same thing happened a couple or so times more, and you were starting to get really tired of it. When would he learn that in order for it not to happen, he’d have to compromise and work a tiny bit less? You had just finished a photoshoot and were already on the way home when Seungmin called you. Nothing big happened, but Chan complained all the day about being tired, but let the guys off early while he stayed behind in the studio. You thank your friend for letting you know and change the driver’s destination from your house to JYPE’s building. You knew exactly where to find your boy.
“Good morning, Ms. Y/L/N,” The security guard, Mr. Kim, greeted you. “Came here to drag Chan home?”
“You know it,” You laugh, waiving at him as you entered the elevator.
The studios were on the third floor, allowing most producers to have their own space. You marched to the last door on the right– Stray Kids’ studio,– and not to your surprise, there he was, bleached hair shinning on the dim light. He was bobbing his head to a beat, and you chuckled, knowing he couldn’t hear you. The face he made, when he closed his eyes, scrunched his nose, and followed a beat, were adorable. It meant he was working on something he liked. You knew that now, but that would have to wait until tomorrow at least. Closing the door behind you, you slowly walk to your boyfriend, not wanting to give him a heart attack. He notices you from the corner of his eyes and smiles widely, allowing the grin to falter once he saw your face. Serious. Sad. A pinch of disappointment.
“Babe…” He sighs, already knowing what’s to come. “I just have to finish this.”
“That,” You smile sadly. “Is not urgent. And I know because you guys just released Yellow Wood. So there is no comeback for a few months, at least; no radio shows since the tour is not in another month; and no secret mixtape for 3racha. So please, enlighten me. Why do you have to finish it tomorrow?”
His mouth hanged open. He knew you kept up with his group and his work, but never to this extent. You even knew his radio shows date beforehand, damn it, and he didn’t even remember if you had a shooting the next day.
“It’s a personal project,” He mumbled, blushing a bit. “I just… I’m in the zone, I really think I can finish it in an hour or two.”
“Love,” You say, pulling the headphones down to his neck. “I’m not usually one to say this but… star procrastinating, mate. If you can do it now, I assure you, you can do it even better tomorrow, once you’re properly rested. Please, Chan, let’s go home.”
“You don’t understand, Y/N, I-“ He tries to come up with an excuse, but at this point you’re not having it.
“I do,” You insist. “I do understand; my job is all about timing, Bang Chan. Light, shadow, wind. They are all variables that I have to work with in order to come up with the perfect result, but the only variable you have working with or against you is yourself. I promise to even help you with anything I might be able to, but go home and sleep a little. Or at least work from our bed, where you’ll be warm and cozy, and with me by your side.”
“That does sound good…” He mumbles, smiling to himself as he saved the files and packed hi bag. “Yeah, I’ll do a bit from home and then I’ll go to sleep.”
You sigh, knowing that this was the compromise he was making. So you had to make one too.
“Promise?” You pout, hugging him.
“Promise.”
Turns out ‘a bit’ is actually a lot and at three a.m. you are woken up by the muffled sound of typing and a baseline. You make a tired mental note to buy Chan new headphones that block out the sound from leaking. You turn around and observe him with your head on your pillow. You didn’t have a photo session the next day and you hoped that practice would only start in the afternoon, allowing you to have a rare lazy morning with your boyfriend. If he went to sleep, that is.
He is so focused on his work he barely notices you reaching out to push a few stray hairs out of his face. He jumps a little, but then smiles and closes his eyes, relishing on the feeling. He turns to look at you and his heart drops; you look so tired. You have bags under your eyes and you barely have any strength to keep your arm up a minute more, allowing it to fall limp on your side.
“Babe, are you okay?” He whispers, not wanting to interrupt the silent atmosphere more than he has to.
“I feel like I should be asking that,” You chuckle and Chan’s whole body feels on fire. Your raspy voice always had that effect on him. “Still working, I see… You promised me, you know?”
“I know,” He smiles. “Sorry, I got carried away.”
“I know, but now put it away.” You ask shuffling closer to him, bringing your pillow with you. Usually, you’d lay on him, but his sitting up position wouldn’t allow you to lay on his chest. “Sleep.”
You hear a few more clicks and the light of the computer is gone. Finally, you think, as he got comfortable and dropped his arms over and around you.
“Are you tired?” He asks, nuzzling the back of your neck. “You look like you haven’t slept in months, Y/N.”
“Yeah,” You whisper closing your eyes. “It’s been a rough month.”
Chan’s heart drops. And then picks up. You can feel it on your back and you know you’ve made a mistake. You shouldn’t have said that, but the haziness of your mind let it slip away.
“What do you mean?”
Sighing, you turn around. You already knew what kind of night this would be, so you reach over him to turn on the lamp.
“Come on,” You say, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the living room. It was a thing, for you two, to always have these deep, serious talks in the living room, since you promised to never take your problems into the bedroom.
He brings the pillows while you grabbed the comforter and you to march to the armchair where he sits first, placing the pillows, and then pats his lap. This was the position; you sitting on his lap, surrounded by Chan– his arms, legs, smell. All him. It made you two feel safe.
“What going on, love?” He mumbles, mouth on your hair, kissing your head. “Talk to me.”
“Work,” You shrug, bringing the blanket up to your chin. “I have to wake up really early but I can’t sleep right, so I’m just always tired. You know how it is.”
“No, I don’t,” He says, and that surprises you. “It’s different for all of us, baby. I can work pretty much normally on four, five hours of sleep. You can’t; you never could, why…”
And he stops.
“Is this because of me?” He asks, voice low and small.
“What do you mean?” You frown, cuddling into him.
“Me being not here… is that why you can’t sleep?”
“I mean, I don’t think so?” You hum, thinking about it. “But I do sleep better with you here.”
He nods, arms like snakes, hugging you tighter and closer, and for a second you think he’ll crush you. But then they go slack. No more pressure, no more tightening. Just… dead weight. You look at him, eyes closed, head on your neck, soft, rhythmic breathing. You smile; he feel asleep. Getting more comfortable, you lay back into him, falling asleep in a matter of minutes.
This is all you needed. Your favorite variable.
Chan.

Stray Kids Reaction: Kissing a Stranger on New Years
Summary: What's so bad about kissing someone on New Years? Well... it helps if you know who they are...
Warnings: some language and use of alcohol
Scenario: Pure Fluffy Balls of Fluff!!!
Bang Chan
"What's your name?" The aussie asked you.
"Where's the fun in that, if I leave you to keep guessing... you'll stick around a little longer" you smirked.
To say that he was enchanted by you would be a total understatement, you were definitely driving him insane, and the more you two hung out the more he wanted to know you.
"Countdown in 15 guys!!!" A guy called out.
You two met at a new years eve party, you had to help Chan get lose, he told you he didn't really do a lot of partying, but you helped change his mind, when he saw you it was like time froze, you were the only thing on his mind, and thanks to Jisung and Changbin, he finally got up the courage to talk to you (okay more like Jisung and Changbin pushed him towards you).
3 hours lead you to here, you found out he was producing music with his friends and hoping one day to make it big, you told him that you came from a small town and were a city girl stuck in a country world, so you packed it up and followed your dream.
Now you stood beside him, with 2 minutes left on the clock.
"You ever kissed anyone on New Years?" He asked.
"Its so overrated..." you yelled over the music.
The song ended and the Hyped up DJ began to start the countdown.
"Ten...Nine...Eight....Seven" your eyes drifted off to Chan's lips who were counting down with the crowd, they looked so soft and plump, made you really curious of the taste of them.
"Five...Four..." Chan looked down at you and caught you in the act, his mind went blank, maybe it was the rum and coke in his hand or maybe just the way you looked, but his eyes met your lips, and he couldn't take them off.
"Three....Two....One! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!"
"What the hell" he smiled as he pulled you in for a long 2020 kiss, you stomach flipped as you kissed him, he knew what he was doing, and it was driving you wild.
"Now will you tell me your name?"
"(Y/N)", "I'm Chris... but everyone around here calls me Chan"
Lee Know
This boy was already a tease, constantly hinting how badly he wanted to kiss you, but he also had a couple shots, so he was feeling pretty good.
"You know... you're suppose to kiss someone on new years...." he hinted.
"You don't have to..." you rolled your eyes.
"Its tradition!" He protested.
"Its lame..."
However as the alcohol set in, he was looking more and more delicious.
"I will admit, you are freaking hot" you smiled.
"Oh really?" He smirked.
"Little bit"
The guy called out the countdown was about to begin.
"Three.....Two....ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" you looked over and put your hands on his face and leaned up on your tip toes and planted a big kiss on him.
His eyes widen as you pulled away, but he'd be damned if he was just gonna let you go.
Changbin
After the fourth short joke, he was getting tired of being near you, but somehow everytime he tried to leave, he'd always run right back into you.
"Following me now pip squeak?" You smirked.
"Quit with the short jokes you're not that much taller!"
"Yes but I'm still... taller"
"Whatever!" He threw his hands up and walked away again.
Forty minutes later, he saw you again, he tried to avoid you but it was no use.
"Hey! Quit following me Amazon!" He glared.
"Amazon!?"
"Yeah! AM-A-ZON!!!!"
"You're starting to piss me off!" You yelled out
"That makes two of us!" He agreed.
"Five...Four...Three...Two...ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" you yelled at him.
"Yeah! Same to you!" He said before pulling you into his lips for a harsh, yet satisfying, kiss.
You both froze in your tracks... (talk about sexual tension)
"Instead of Pip Squeak....why don't you call me Changbin"
Hyunjin
He was a flirt, no doubt... he could get any girl he wanted, except you, you were a challenge, and he liked the challenge.
"What is it about you that is so different?" He asked.
"Maybe I just don't fall so easily..."
"That you don't... but still..."
You gave him one last smile before walking away, because truth was, he was getting to you... and you couldn't have that, but at the same time you wanted to.
He was unlike anyone you've ever met, totally gorgeous, funny, and that smile.
Girls kept coming over, hanging all over him, he would politely deny their request, he knew what he wanted.
"Let's start the countdown!!!" A girl started cheering.
Everyone started the countdown, you looked around for the mystery guy, kind of hoping you could start your new year with him, but he was out of sight.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" the crowd cheered as people started to share a kiss with their significant other, you felt a hand on your shoulder and spun you on your heel, you met his eyes for only a second before he pulled you into his sweet, perfect lips.
"Call me Hyunjin"
Han
Jisung was a shy little bean, he didn't usually talk to girls because it would come out more incoherent gibberish than anything.
But he saw you and wanted so bad to know you, absolutely beautiful was what he saw and he really wanted to know more of you.
"Just go talk to her!" Felix said
"Yeah right... unless she understands jawa..."
"You don't sound like a star wars creature when you talk!"
"No it just comes out h-yo-ah-go-na- bye!"
"Okay so maybe that is a little Jawa..." he shrugs, "look mate... 2019 is almost over! Go now or forever hold your peace!"
A few minutes later, He was up talking to you, not doing too bad when talking to you.
Drinking has helped.
You couldn't help how adorable he was, and how he just melted your heart everytime he smiled, you two spent pretty much the rest of 2019 together, laughing, talking and occasionally staring into each others eyes.
You were falling.
And so was he.
"Ten...Nine...Eight...Seven...Six....Five...Four....THREE...TWO....ONE!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!" Jisung looked down at you with nervous hands and a shaky voice.
"Can I kiss you??" He yelled over the loud music and equally loud cheers.
"Yes!" You yelled back, with that His shaking hands reached your face as he leaned down and kissed you ever so softly.
"I'm Jisung" he smiled
"(Y/N)"
Felix
Felix was having fun, spending new years with Chan at a local little club in Australia.
"2020 resolution!" Chan said as he sat the shot glass down.
Felix downed the shot and sat it beside him.
"Awe why mate... those never happen!"
"Come on come on, just play along!"
"Okay I..... holy..." his eyes widened
"More....religious?" Chan asked
"If my religion is her..." he sighed out as you approached him.
"Nice hair" you smiled.
"Hair.... " he was in a trance by you.
"What my good mate here was trying to say was, thank you! And I'll leave you two to it then!" Chan slipped away leaving you and Felix to talk, you told him you just moved here a few weeks ago and saw him around a couple days ago, you blushed as you told him he had an enchanting presence that made you want to get to know him more, he blushed a bit too.
Few hours later, you two were hitting it off well... Chan stood back and watched his friend like a proud mom.
"So any new year resolutions?" You asked as you took a drink.
"Nothing I can think of... I'm not really a new years resolution kind of guy"
"Oh come on.... everyone has a new years resolution" you laughed.
"Well let me get back to you"
"Countdown in Ten.....Nine...Eight!!!" The DJ called out.
"We better get over there!" You called as you grabbed your drink in one hand and took Felix's hand in the other, dragging him to the crowd.
He grabbed a hold of his drink as he followed you.
"Five...Four..." you both chimed in.
"Three...Two...One... HAPPY NEW YEAR!" without even thinking Felix leaned over and placed a sweet kiss on your lips, you weren't complaining, he was gorgeous, and his lips were the perfect taste.
"You know how I said I'd get back to you on that resolution?"
"Yeah?"
"I think I just found it..."
Seungmin
From the get go Seungmin was hypnotized by you, he pretty much ditched all his friends to go talk to you, but it was worth it, he found you exceptionally beautiful, and couldn't take his eyes off you.
You two were talking and enjoying each others company, when you unzipped your jacket to reveal a Day6 T-Shirt.
Seungmin then knew he found his soulmate.
"You like Day6!??!?" His eyes lit up.
"Of course! Die hard My Day since day 1!" You smiled.
"I love them! Their music is so..."
"Amazing!" You both said in unison
"Whos your bias!?" He smiled.
"Oh hands down Jae! He cracks me up!"
As if you two weren't already getting to know each other, now it was getting serious, Seungmin was falling for a total stranger, he didn't even know your name.
"Hey... I'm Seungmin" he smiled as he held out his hand.
"I'm-"
"Start the countdown!!!!" Everyone cheered as they counted down to the new year.
You and Seungmin joined in counting down with the crowd.
"Three....Two....ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" Seungmin leaned down and kissed you, then froze.
"I'm sorry... I was....lost in the moment"
You leaned up on your toes and returned the kiss to him.
"Its okay... also... (Y/N)" you smiled.
I.N
When it came to Jeongin, girls were the last thing on his mind, he wasn't exactly scared of them... he would just... run away from them.
However you were different, he was talking with you all night at the party his friends dragged him to.
It wasn't so bad when you started talking to him.
You found out he was the same age as you and only a couple months older than you, but he was adorable, and his smile killed you.
You told him that some of your friends dragged you along too, you were the youngest of your little group too, you both had a lot in common and the countdown got closer and closer.
"Anything you wanna remember from 2019?" You asked.
"Well... definitely you!" He grinned, your heart shook, no one ever said that to you.
"I wanna remember you too" you smiled.
"Let's start the countdown!" Everyone cheered.
"Jeongin! Let's go!!!" Some of his friends came by and pulled him along, he made sure you followed him.
You two stood close and slowly laced your fingers together.
"Three....Two....One! HAPPY NEW YEAR"
Jeongin looked at you with those soft, heart melting eyes, you nodded a little, knowing what he was asking for, he held both your hands and leaned in to give you a new year kiss.
"THATS MY BOY!!!" you heard one of the members call out.
"So... I'm Jeongin" he smiled, light pink dusted on his cheeks.
"(Y/N)"
"Happy New Year (Y/N)"

ask: can i request a scenario when chan has a stomach bug but only the maknae line is at home so they take care of him?
this is my first time responding to an ask!!! so exciting! hope you like how it turned out :)
——
tw: vomiting/emeto
woojin loved all of the members of stray kids a whole damn lot. he loved each and every one of them, really. changbin and minho included. he loved them with his whole heart, loved them to the moon and back, even if they can’t whisper to save their lives, i love them.
“why don’t they ever shut up,” chan mumbled from the bunk below woojin’s, sounding very distinctly like he had a headache.
i love them, i love them, i love them… the mantra was on loop in his mind as he dragged himself out of bed at half past midnight ready to shove an entire pillow down both of their throats to silence them.
“what if we add hot sauce-“ woojin heard minho chuckle, interrupting changbin who immediately broke down into almost muffled giggles before continuing, “what if we add hot sauce to pancake batter and see who can eat more?”
when woojin walked into the room, the two were in tears laughing. he cleared his throat and whispered (actually whispered! can you imagine?) in a calm, steady manner. “hey, idiots.”
the idiots went silent immediately. their lips still wobbled with uncertain smiles trying to force a way onto their faces. woojin sharpened his glare.
“it’s after midnight. shut up, you fully grown brats.”
finally, the fiends managed to look remorseful. minho rubbed the back of his neck, while changbin cleared his throat and spoke up. “right, sorry, woojin-hyung.”
“we’ll be quieter!” minho chimed in. woojin nodded.
“what were you two up to anyway? i thought everyone would be completely wiped after these pasta few weeks.”
they’d been promoting for two weeks, and had spent the week prior preparing for the their new album. it had been practice nonstop, and then promos nonstop, woojin didn’t understand how these two had any energy left at all.
changbin scratched the back of his head and gave minho a side-eyed glance.
minho smirked. “we were… hungry.”
“uh-huh.” woojin was skeptical. hadn’t he heard something about hot sauce and pancakes? and why was there lettuce on one of the kitchen stools? he shook his head, and went to the cabinet. he pulled out some instant ramen and shoved it firmly towards the younger boys’ chests.
“make this. no hot sauce, no lettuce. you can hard boil eggs in it if you want, but do that and then go to bed after you’ve eaten. understood?”
both boys nodding up at him, woojin remembered that yes, he did love them. as long as they allowed him to sleep.
so back to the bedroom he went. he opened the door slowly. “chan? they should be quiet now.”
the only response woojin received was a soft snore. he smiled slightly as his eyes fell upon his leader’s sleeping face, visible thanks to the light from the hallway. woojin couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen chan asleep before 1 am, and it was a relief, now, to say the least.
content, woojin started to close the door to their room, even more slowly than he’d opened it, not wanting to startle chan. the door wasn’t even closed when all of a sudden a loud crash followed by a short yelp, and then another crash, sounded throughout the dorm. woojin saw chan startle and roll over, grumbling sadly, and his blood boiled.
changbin cackled, minho sniggered, neither of them bothering to even attempt inside voices, and woojin gathered all of his willpower to avoid slamming his bedroom door on the way out.
changbin and minho must have heard him coming, socked feet all but stomping towards them, because woojin found them hiding behind the counter. rather than speaking, he grabbed both of their noses and pulled them straight outside. he didn’t let go until they were on the ground level, and the two younger boys were practically cowering.
“you two were really ready to wake chan on the first night that he’s slept in, what, months?”
the cowering intensified. woojin reminded himself: i love them. he reminded himself: they’re hungry. he reminded himself: they’re crazy, because they’re hungry.
he sighed, and pulled out his wallet, waving it around a bit. “let’s go find something to eat, you actual children.”
——
it was quiet in the dorm, then. for another 30 minutes, it was completely silent.
and then chan woke up, immediately and very vaguely aware that woojin had done him a big, big favor. mostly, though, he just wanted to go back to sleep. he wanted sleep more badly than he could ever remember wanting anything in his life. unfortunately, he was freezing.
head pounding, body shaking, and stomach unsettled, chan rolled out of bed with a sudden and stubborn conviction that he rarely got what he wanted. this was reinforced when he realized that woojin was not in his bed, and neither was minho, greatly reducing his chances of finding a snuggle buddy to warm him up within walking distance.
he tried to settle for dragging three of minho’s numerous blankets back to bed with him, but he didn’t feel warmer. he just felt more alone.
chan hated feeling alone.
so, even though it felt infinitely far away, he stumbled his way to the shared space of the dorm. if he could just find one of his other members too cuddle with, he was sure that he would be warm enough to sleep. there was nobody in the common room, though, and chan wanted to cry. walking made him so dizzy, he was so exhausted. his legs didn’t want to hold him.
but he hated being alone.
he got up, and his stomach did flips.
after a quick rest on the couch, chan was on shaky legs again, this time leaning heavily against the walls as he went. he was looking for jisung, or hyunjin, or changbin - someone who would snuggle with him, no questions asked. he tried to be quiet as he entered their bedroom, but he missed a step while entering and the door slammed against the wall.
someone (hyunjin?) grumbled unhappily, someone else - probably jeongin - whined while still somehow sleeping. and someone shot straight up in bed with a gasp that was probably a suppressed scream.
“…channie-hyung?” unsurprisingly, that was jisung.
“sorry,” chan mumbled. his head was hurting worse than ever, and walking had made him nauseous. all he wanted was… sleep. he crawled into bed beside the younger boy. “‘m tired.”
“um…” jisung shifted so that he could look closely at chan, then spoke quietly. “okay. why aren’t you asleep in your own bed, hyung?”
chan’s head throbbed. he hadn’t thought jisung would ask so many questions. “it’s cold,” he mumbled in absent-minded english, snuggling closer to his friend. “can i stay here?”
it took jisung’s sleepy brain a second to figure out that chan wasn’t speaking korean, and another to understand what he was saying.
“yeah but-“ he could feel sweat seeping through chan’s t-shirt, “are you sick, hyung?”
“hm?” chan was half-asleep already. jisung put a hand on chan’s head and cringed.
“chan? can you sit up for a second?”
“no.”
jisung frowned, uncertain as to what he should do. “c’mon, hyung, why are you being difficult?”
“just wanna sleep.”
jisung shook his head, mystified, once again barely deciphering chan’s slurred english. he decided to leave it alone for the time being. anyway, it wasn’t like he didn’t get it - he just wanted to sleep, too. and sleep was good for healing, anyway. he’d check on chan again in the morning.
——
no more than 20 minutes had passed when jisung woke up again, this time to chan flailing wildly and then running out of the room, the door slamming shut behind him and effectively waking everyone in it who might have continued sleeping.
“what’s going on?” jeongin asked.
“what now?” hyunjin growled.
“nothing, guys, don’t worry about-“ jisung’s train of thought stuttered as loud heaving sounds reached his ears.
“someone’s sick, who’s sick?” hyunjin questioned, now out of bed.
“it’s chan-hyung,” jisung sighed, resigned. “i’ll go check on him. you guys go back to sleep, he’ll be fine.”
jeongin flopped onto his back, but hyunjin just nodded and leaned against the bed with his arms crossed, as if standing guard.
ignoring hyunjin for the moment, jisung went to the bathroom. the door was cracked open so he knocked lightly. “channie-hyung? i’m coming in.”
he was not surprised to find chan, kneeling on the ground, shaking like a leaf, with his hand on his bare chest, trying to catch his breath. more surprising was that felix was somehow already there, sitting on the ledge of the bathtub with his hand on chan’s back. chan’s shirt was messy and discarded on the ground beside him, small hiccups were wracking his frame, and when he looked up, there were tears in his eyes.
“jisungie?”
“ah, hyung, why are you crying?” jisung knelt down beside the older boy, who was crying harder now and making grabby hands at felix. felix drew chan into a hug, and jisung gently played with chan’s hair until he jerked away from them both, dipping his head into the toilet. almost immediately, a violent stream of sick poured out, all while chan continued sobbing.
“i think he’s missing home,” felix mumbled quietly. jisung’s eyes widened. he shouldn’t have been so surprised, really. of course chan would miss home. but still, it had been years since he’d seen any indication of homesickness, in stark contrast to felix, who often relied on members for comfort when missing australia. but he and chan were so different. even if they were similar in some ways, by virtue of his position as leader of course chan would be more quiet about his struggles.
“we should get him some water,” jisung said, nodding towards chan. he paused a second taking a closer look at felix, who seemed a bit off-color. “hey, you okay?”
felix nodded, but jisung wasn’t buying it. thinking about it, he wasn’t sure whether felix got squeamish or not, but if he were to guess at this point, he’d say… “yes.” or maybe “definitely.”
“o-kay. can you go grab him some water?”
felix nodded again, this time more convincingly, and stood. chan whined and jisung shushed him, shooing felix out with his hand. “channie-hyung, he’s just gonna get you some water, okay? i’ll stay here with you.”
jisung put a hand to chan’s forehead. sure enough, it was even warmer now than the last time he’d checked. unsurprising, considering how chan was acting. it was unusual for the older boy to open up about anything that was upsetting him, even subtly. jisung couldn’t remember the last time he’d seen chan express any sort of discontent, actually.
“water delivery!” instead of felix, hyunjin came in with a glass of cool water.
“hey, channie-hyung, how are you doing?” hyunjin walked in, offering a glass of water.
when hyunjin crouched down and pressed it to his lips, chan slowly sipped the water, still curled close to jisung. hyunjin looked at jisung awkwardly. jisung looked at chan.
“where’s felix?” chan mumbled desperately, slipping into english once again. hyunjin cringed.
“he, uh, needed to rest for a bit,” hyunjin explained. jisung wasn’t entirely sure what that meant, but he guessed that meant felix had felt even worse than he’d looked. chan’s hopeful expression crumbled.
“i miss him…” chan whined. jisung sighed.
“he’s right outside, buddy. how are you feeling? you wanna go to bed?”
chan made a groaning noise that was definitely not in the affirmative. looking at him more closely, jisung knew why. chan’s eyes were squeezed shut, and jisung could see sweat drops on his face.
“okay, c’mon,” jisung put a hand on chan’s back, helping him sit up over the toilet once again. “hyunjin, can you get woojin-hyung?”
“right, about that…” chan retched and hyunjin flinched. “woojin-hyung isn’t here.”
“neither are minho-hyung or changbin-hyung!” jeongin shouted from the hallway. chan vomited, then groaned loudly.
“feel… so sick,” he complained. jisung squeezed his shoulder.
“i know, buddy.”
“where’s felix?” chan whimpered, coughing. his whole body was trembling. “want felix back…”
hyunjin made an x with his hands, shaking his head quickly.
“uh… we’ll see felix in a minute, buddy. i miss him, too.”
chan, who seemed to be done puking, shuddered and curled up on the floor. “hey, nuh-uh. you are not sleeping on the floor,” hyunjin scolded. hyunjin lifted chan up and in the process got captured by a koala. jisung laughed, watching hyunjin flail dramatically and complain about germs, but relent immediately when he saw chan’s miserable expression. by the time seungmin came back with a thermometer and tea, hyunjin was laying flat on his back on the floor, with chan laying directly on top of him.
“i’m not sleeping on the floor, i’m sleeping on hyunjin,” chan said, sounding content. jisung snorted. they were cute, but this was not going to work for either of them for a whole night, and both of them needed sleep.
“okay, let’s get you to bed,” jisung said in his most authoritative voice. chan pouted as hyunjin sat up and wrapped his arms and lets around the younger boy’s torso.
“no.”
“hyung!” hyunjin frowned at chan.
“where’s felix?” chan asked, persistently, and upset once again.
“channie-hyung, i bet felix would sleep with you if you get off the floor. or, off of hyunjin, i guess…”
at that, chan perked up. hyunjin joined in.
“you gotta go to bed, though. your actual bed. or felix’s. a bed.”
chan pouted, but thankfully stood up, leaning on hyunjin and jisung for support. they led him to felix’s room, where they found the younger australian boy already in bed, apparently already asleep.
“what are you guys doing?” seungmin asked, startling all three of the others.
“chan’s sick. what are you doing?” hyunjin asked, eyeing the younger boy skeptically. seungmin shrugged, his face lit by his phone light.
“listening to music. i’ll keep an eye on him.”
“‘m fine,” chan mumbled, stumbling into bed with felix.
“lix…” chan whined, hugging the younger boy. felix’s face scrunched up before he opened his eyes, squinting and reluctant until he saw chan.
“channie… hyung?”
“can i sleep here? please?” chan was begging, which was almost humorous considering how slim the chances of felix ever denying him.
“‘course,” felix mumbled, wrapping chan in a hug and petting his hair. “you’ll feel better soon, hyung.”
meanwhile, hyunjin explained to jisung and seungmin that felix had nearly vomited after seeing chan get sick. seungmin volunteered to accompany chan if he had to be sick later that night. fortunately, seungmin wasn’t squeamish, and could speak english. still, jisung decided to take changbin’s bed for the night, just in case.
——
when woojin returned with a sleepy minho and changbin, the dorm was silent, but they quickly realized that something was off. changbin was the first to notice, mainly because jisung was in changbin’s bed. he made his way to woojin and minho’s room, where woojin was just about to step into the hallway. woojin raised an eyebrow at changbin and let him in.
“chan’s not in his bed, is he on the couch?”
“uh, no, he’s with felix. and jisung stole my bed,” changbin pouted. woojin smirked.
“well why don’t you steal chan’s bed, then?” changbin nodded, too exhausted to argue. minho spoke up from where he was lying on his own bed.
“i guess chan woke up even without us trying to make food. we could’ve just eaten here.” woojin could hear the smirk in his voice.
“yeah, yeah, i’m so sure. you’re welcome for saving you not only from chan’s wrath, but also food poisoning.”
minho laughed and woojin smirked. “okay, time for bed before you two get any other crazy ideas. we’ll see what went on while we weren’t here tomorrow morning.”
