I mean, there is no point in internalizing my hatred and contempt for society at large anymore.

But.

I can't pretend that my hatred is what motivates me to continue living in this life.

I love my community. I love the voters that voted to protect human rights. I love my (metaphorical) trans siblings.

I love you all more than I hate them.

And it's worth fighting to protect what I love, rather than fighting against what I hate.

I love that Jacob could have so easily been just a one dimensional douchy jock kind of character but he's not. On a surface level he can seem to be just that but if you look deeper he's actually a layered, complex character with insecurities that he keeps hidden under his dumb frat bro persona. I just wish they could've fleshed all of that out more

i do not enjoy harry potter anymore and even when i did, snape was not a character i ever liked, but for some reason my ‘for you’ page is just full of dedicated snape stan accounts and i hate it

Especially insisting on gendering their "deep voice" from their actual nonbinary actor as like transfeminine coded. what a wildly offensive thing to gender an actual nb person's voice, i don't know i can't go on here. also. The start of the game forcing u into the genesis comic feels. Very silly. its a tonal jump from the death to like have sudden narration. It shouldve been framed differently idk. Or just. Not inserted into the story. Anyways.

Love the beginning of this game. Setup is so good. I love Jacob and Mirandas intros. Jacob as the one who tells you the truth, who has a moral compass vs Mirandas sole purpose and drive for two years being to bring you back to life regardless of her impression or opinion of you personally.

#Shitpost #love how miranda responds once you have results too #i love how cold and calculating she is #and like she wouldnt work as well if she wasnt the lead on the project. Her leading it and basically being a huge part of why youre alive #just like. Immediately places her in a fascinating space #also shes basically your XO but also shes reporting back to TIM about you #side note but tbh still mad at how they handled TIM in 3. he just became a villain where hes WAY more interesting here #hes so middle ground nuanced and that sort of dies.
