LMAO. ok so I didn't expect this one to be the first one to be sent, but it's here now so! I'm gonna put this under read more since it's kinda negative? It's just been something I've been thinking a lot about whenever I go through the tags sometimes. Probably don't read if your one of the more, heavy topic fans in the show and are somewhat disappointed (?) in season 3 for the lack acknowledgement of said topics

Whenever someone complains about how the more serious topics in the show doesn't show itself in the series whether it's outright or subtle, I feel like I gain gray hairs (/j). Of course! Everyone is entitled to feel what they feel, sometimes I wish people just, loosened up a little y'know? This is a cartoon, an adventure comedy cartoon, adventure. Comedy.

Yes, it is important that some things be regarded in the show in a set manner, yes I love how amphibia manages to showcase the serious side effects of literal children being sent to another dimension, yes I love how drastic of a difference direction they took regarding the trope, but I do not expect them to have to face a specific kind of angst every literal episode and talk about that. I fell in love with amphibia because of the characters, the situations that they are in, and although I love a good plot, and I understand wanting to see your favorite character go through hardships and find accomplishment in the end, I watch this show mainly for the story that the crew wants to tell us. It's kinda why I got a bit peeved when some people were like 'omg they didn't forget about sash and marcy!' in the ending of flx, I don't know how to explain it, but it's certain posts like those that just grinds my gears sometimes fjjsksnjjd anyways I probably lost my point somewhere while making it, but thanks a bunch for the ask!! And for giving me an excuse to just... rant about this (lol)
