this is suuuper nitpicky but in relation to the graphics.. i kinda wish the skins looked slightly.. different? idk how to put it, but they look kind of smooth? maybe too much? i just wish they had a little bit more texture, it kinda looks like they have a beauty filter, imo, and i think it would look better if they look slightly differently

and i have mixed feelings about how the characters are stylized overall. like... y'know, the whole "cartoony" discourse. at first i didnt like it at all, but since we've seen more im way more on board. still... i kinda feel like some things could look a bit nicer

idk how i feel about how the darkspawn look. like it's not a huge deal to me either, but... i just wish they looked different. lol. they do look a little bit goofy

and idk if i like the... veiny/nervous system looking-thing in demons either? like, i like it in theory but tbh in practice im not too sure

tbh im just happy about most things they've said and shown so far. i think a lot of these things are a good sign. also, things like the "not ea app necessary" make me inclined to believe that this is something they've had to fight for (cause you know, if ea could choose they'd do things their way) and that's something i appreciate a lot. that's why i think this and a lot of other choices and changes they've made in relation to the last game, are good signs that they've listened to our feedback in a lot of things! and i hope this reflects in the entirety of the game. i hope it's the case. idk i'm positive about this game! a little scared ofc, because i care and i want it to be as good as possible, but excited nonetheless!

This has been wedged in my head for the past few days. What started out as a depressing Bertolt and Armin concept art I was doing ended up as goofy Armin Tybur doodles. Idek. This was gonna be some heavy emotionless Armin interacting with Bert in the paths but changed up real quick after I started doing the lineart for them. I legitimately did not rly put much thought into the weird doodles in between lmao.😭 the Eremin one was intentional but the rest was pulled outta nowhere. Poor Miché lol, at least he gets to live in this silly AU. Also don’t question Armin’s Titan design💀 I pulled inspo from one of my Armin fic ideas in which he turned into the warhammer instead of the colossus and trying to come up with a design was already hard so I kept it simple. Ik it looks goofy but pretend it looks rad in this.

Does anyone remember the Armin theory Era? Legit question bc I feel like only ten of us actually theorized on Armin getting a bigger backstory later on but we never got one lmao. There was the “Armin is a Tybur” theory which made the base of this, but it would’ve been wild if he really was. A/N: I'm glad you like my writing! Yeah, one of my big things is that even though I write x readers, I like for the characters to behave as close to their canon personality as possible. It's the reason I like them after all.

Also, technically I don't accept requests. Buuuut I do like Kronika and she sorely lacks content so here you go. I hope you enjoy it.

Yandere Kronika x Reader

TW: Yandere, abduction/kidnapping, slight obsessive behavior, romantic affection

Kronika is an interesting case when it comes to her falling for someone in general, let alone her behavior becoming yandere-like. Her true, most important obsession is with The Hourglass and creating a world of perfect balance. Anything else -whether her children or her own Titan kin- comes second. So, what could draw her attention away from the allure of shaping destinies?

Reminding her of her past would be a likely way to catch her attention. Kronika wasn't always the Keeper of Time nor a Titan. Something she tries her absolute all to forget. But, it's her reason for becoming obsessed with a perfect timeline. No longer would one person or group gain absolute power or the freedom to do unto others whatever they pleased. No longer would a single being be able to use all else for their own gain. Yes, as long as she keeps experimenting with time and reality one day she'll achieve that perfect world.

And here you come along, not to throw a wrench in her plans but to aid them. Unlike the others she has enlisted to aid her who only follow for the promises of a granted wish -or even her affection- you follow her because you see merit in her vision. She's impressed, considering that you're a mortal. But she's also not stupid, and during the first dozen rounds of resets she's suspicious. What are you actually after from her? What do you truly hope to gain from her?

It's only after countless resets and you proving that you're only interested in a balanced world that Kronika gets a spark of interest in you. Yes, she may shape all destinies but she cannot get rid of that annoying “free-will”. Why is it that whether she makes you a lowly peasant of Earthrealm or a devout Chaosrealmer, you always understand her design? She's almost tempted to ask you, but it's not as though you have memories of all of your past lives… That's something she can fix though.

At some point in infinity, you begin to recall your previous lives in previous timelines. The first few times you recall a world that no longer exists, a life that you've lived yet never experienced, it happens to drive you insane. Much like it did her. You're afflicted with an extreme sense of nihilism and pessimistic thought. What was even the point if it was all going to start over again? For the first time your loyalty in her ideals falters. It takes years (less than a second in the eyes of immortals) for you to come to the conclusion you reached before. There must be balance in the realms.

Kronika is -for the first time in eons- furious at this revelation. You're still pledging loyalty even after seeing everything you love wash away? After having the hurtful knowledge of previous timelines within you? That's not how mortals operate. No, she refuses to believe that a lower being as yourself could even comprehend the majesty of her brilliant design!

However, after she calms down she realizes what an interesting specimen she has on hand. You're someone who shares her thinking and has proven to be quite competent in the past. You're also someone who could walk among the realms discreetly, unlike Cetrion who's divine presence would be noticed. Perhaps you could be quite the useful pawn.

And so, you become her reliable little helper. You stir the pot as needed and quell any threats to the perfect timeline as they appear. Kronika is quite satisfied with your performance, evident with her “experiments” lasting longer and longer between resets. For a mortal you're great. But, you could be so much more. She sees that now. You've proven yourself.

You're “invited” to Kronika's Keep, waking up there one day after eliminating a particularly annoying threat to balance. You lie there confused, having no idea where you're at nor why you're here. You get your answer soon enough as the sounds of heels on the floor approaches you. “You've done well, (Y/N).” You shiver from the sound of your name being spoken by her. “For many timelines you have served me dutifully. I believe it's time for me to reward you.” Your eyebrow raises at this revelation, but you await her next words.

“Stay here by my side, (Y/N). And let us both cultivate the fate of the realms. As someone who shares my vision, I can imagine that there is no greater gift than what I offer.” A gentle smile accompanies her final words. You give yourself a few seconds to mull over her words before making a decision.

There are two possible fates for you at this point. The first is where you accept her offer -much to Kronika's delight. She stays true to her words, letting you stay in her spire as the both of you peer down at the realms. And whenever she rewinds the timeline you're there with her, helping her in the task of shaping The Sands of Time.

Albeit, you'll likely be put in a void outside of time until there's a way for you to survive the rewinding to the beginning of the universe. To not get rewound or suffocate you'll need to be a Titan or God of some kind. Something easily done considering all Kronika has to do is kill an existing God/Titan. And that Thunder God is starting to become a real thorn in her side…

Once you get your godhood the rest of your existence is relatively sweet? You quickly fall into obsession with The Hourglass like Kronika did, but at least now the two of you aren't alone in your madness. Not only that, you get revealed a side of her thought long gone -compassion. When the two of you aren't manipulating fate you're in each other's arms. Hugging, kissing, and performing other acts of affection. There's no need to ask each other how their day's going with how often you two are together, but you do so anyway just for reassurance.

You essentially get a relationship as normal as possible with Kronika. Her yandere tendencies aren't revealed unless someone manages to hurt you. But at that point it's just self-defense, right?

Now if you refuse Kronika's offer… She shakes her head and sighs in disappointment. “Oh, (Y/N). And here I thought you were so promising.” A burst of blue energy comes from her hands and then you're frozen. Not encased in ice but rather frozen in time, your mind and body locked in the moment right when she said her last words. Kronika approaches your still frame, bringing a lithe finger to your chin.

“Such a disappointment you are, yet,” she flies over to The Hourglass while telekinetically carrying your body with her. “You still have the ability to serve the vision you've foolishly abandoned.” She pushes you towards The Hourglass, getting you close enough to be converted into its magical sands. And just as you’re about to be wiped from history, Kronika pulls you away with a look of hesitation.

Despite your shortcomings, you're the only other being she's had even a remote interest in for an eternity. Would it truly be worth it to permanently delete your existence? It's those two things that stop her from killing you. But you can't be allowed to walk punishment free. Not after you've led her on for so long, making her believe you two were kindred souls. She has the perfect little fate planned for you…

One moment you're hearing Kronika voice her disappointment and the next you're behind a giant sphere of glass. You look down and see that you're suspended several meters above a void? There's sand piled all the way up to your torso -a torso that looks distinctively different from what it should. Instead of flesh, your body seems to be made of sand similar to what you're standing in. There's an ethereal glow to your body that reminds you of something spirit-like.

“Admiring your new form I presume?” You hear Kronika's voice but you don't see her. Is she behind you? She continues speaking. “I took the liberty of turning you into something better. It'd be a waste to just kill you.” She finally walks into view, hovering to be eye-level with you as you stand in what you've come to realize is The Hourglass. “I've made you one with The Hourglass. Your soul and body is now just an extension of it.” She pets the glass of The Hourglass -an act that you can actually feel! Her palm rubbing against the pane feels so soft, and you find yourself stunned as you try to process these new “nerves” that you have.

Kronika pulls her palm away. “You can't control The Hourglass, not without my command.” She smiles before continuing. “In case you thought of manipulating time to save yourself.” That's it? You're going to be stuck here as a powerless embodiment of her fascination for an eternity? How cruel, but you suppose in your large repertoire of lifetimes there are worse fates.

oceangate symbolism bc insomnia is a bitch (this is what I get for taking a nap yesterday ig):

the game controller was my main focus with the previous post: billionaires literally play with the lives of others as if they are playing video games. They can easily control/manipulate ppl, as one does with a game controller, but they also see their own lives as games. They saw no real risk with the sub bc they weren’t taking it seriously, it was all just fun and play to them. for example in genshin (bc it’s literally the only game I play) you can get into bad situations, but you never rly die. Even when all your characters die, you as the player, still exist in the game, all you have to do is go to a statue, patch up ur characters, and you’re free to do dumb shit again without any personal loss except for a bit of time. this is how billionaires view the world. Just replace characters with employees and healing statues with hiring new ppl, and it costs them nothing but a bit of time.

the renaming of the ship was also interesting. Originally it was called the cyclops II and although that was probably due to the single window, it has some interesting symbolism. in mythology cyclopes are considered unsightly/monstrous (much like the sub) but holding almost godlike powers. The passengers as we know were billionaires who often do horrible “monstrous” things and have an unfortunately enormous amount of power. Also Cyclopes are often either the source of, or closely linked to irony and hubris in a couple sources (mainly those inspired by The Odyssey) and in this situation ironically enough, cyclopes are known to be incredible craftsmen. Plus Cyclopes having one eye/poorer sight can symbolize the lack of foresight in the oceangate sub project.

The name shift to the Titan (ic) although more ironic parallel than symbolism, still gets a spot here. In specifically Greek mythology, the titans were the originals, those who were powerful and roamed the land until the gods took over. The sub, similar to the gods, wanted to to go down in history as being better than the original (coming back after viewing the wreckage and possibly becoming a rich ppl tourist thing) But their hubris, just like the Greek titan’s was their downfall. Both Titans believed their designs and power to be absolute when in reality both had them taken in the blink of an eye. Also Zeus cut the titan’s king Cronus into hundreds of tiny pieces, mirroring how the sub imploded, breaking into many tiny pieces. And looping back to the beginning the controller being one of the few things that remained intact symbolizes how, despite tragedies happening, the top 1% will throw away lives as long an their control and their games remain intact.

This whole thing is rly similar to the sirens calling for the crew in the odyssey (I had to write a long ass paper on that thing in hs so I will reference it every chance I get) Most of the men on the ship plugged their ears and turned away, ignoring the allure of hearing their song, much like how the general population didn’t rly care abt the sub. But the sirens, or the exclusivity of viewing the titanic, dragged those who got too close to their death. The billionaires are similar to Odysseus himself here where they knew “listening to the song” was bad/would kill them, but they were like “how bad could it actually be?” and left their ears opened. In the odyssey Odysseus gets warned by his crew, and with the sub, the general population was like “are you stupid? That’s a death trap.” However Odysseus was saved meanwhile the sub obviously… wasn’t

reg is a tough one i genuinely have no idea what he’d want to do & idk if he would either. in a world where he did eventually get to leave home and make his own decisions, i think he’d either pursue something that helps other people (social work, maybe a public defender, etc.) or something purely selfish that he just thinks he would like and be fulfilled by (like….idfk what if he went to culinary school or something) (or maybe music school bc he grew up playing violin or cello & found he enjoyed it outside of his parents’ expectations)

ugh i feel like lily could go a million places too. i like her as a lit/english major bc i think she’d be a lot like remus in that her childhood was a little lonely and books kept her company. but i also love the idea of corporate titan lily running shit and being In Charge. or like being a partner at a law firm or something. like that’s hot & i think she would be a great leader & her employees would love her idk. now that i’m talking ab it Hot Businesswoman Lily is rly doing it for me

marlene is an artsy girlie!!! she has impeccable style!!! and amazing taste!!!! of course she’s a graphic designer!!! she comments on font choices on the menu at every restaurant. she takes pictures of albums at the record store for design inspo instead of buying them. she has a subscription to a vintage advertising site and wins free old posters & plasters them all over her walls. she hates the idea of working for an agency so she finds some hole in the wall business to design for in-house after graduation (no of course i am not projecting) (not even a little)

i love literature girlie dorcas. i think she’d be a really phenomenal writer and have a book of poetry and short stories published by the time she got to college. like she’s been hired by local musicians & bands to write songs for their new albums. she performs at poetry readings at a little bookstore a few blocks from campus & her gf records it and posts it to tiktok, where she has several thousand followers & shares drabbles & new poems & updates about her next book. none of us are as cool and interesting and talented as dorcas & we just have to be okay with that

i feel like i know the least about mary than anybody else in this list ugh. in my head she’s extremely eclectic with her personal style & would either go to fashion school or just say fuck it & start her own line while getting a business degree. like maybe she’s got her line as a side hustle that she wants to be her full time gig eventually, but in the meantime she’s getting a BA in marketing & then a masters in business so she knows how to make it successful

YOU DIDNT ASK so im sorry in advance (especially because i wont be explaining this well) But. ill be so honest i dont think the t-shirt kon is bad in a vacuum like it could be cute 😭 i do think its genuinely kinda fun when the characters wear their own little merch. the t-shirt outfit is even kind of funny because hes literally just wearing a t-shirt and jeans 😭 i love kon no matter what!!

but in the context of the transition from young justice (the comic) and the gang "graduating" into the teen titans (vol.3) i feel like it was a regression for him. idk i read into kon and transness+being lgbt too much so ive seen interpretations of it being his internalized homo/transphobia because its also a time where he has a secret identity for the first time in small-town america... and i do enjoy that, but it was Not intended by the writes (especially considering who was writing him in the mid-late 2000s)

kon's character to start off is really about identity and the reclamation of it when he was intended to be a Thing, and how he struggled under the weight of acting like he thinks he should/expectations placed on him (especially because he did not have an alternate identity or a name at first, he was just superboy. THEN kon el and conner kent) and how he expresses himself by replacing a tag cadmus put on him with a gold earring and generally dressing in a flashy and flamboyant and alternative way

so then when we transition to the teen titans kon, they sort of......strip him of that expression of personality. hes put in a t-shirt and jeans. they take away his earring. hes put in a relationship w/ cassie sandsmark (who btw. is very wlw coded to match him in the YJ comic, and both of their designs suffered what we call the cishetifcation) that is ultimately so bad for their characters (meanwhile kon is written into the most gay coded friendship w/ tim drake for like. a decade.)

and the young justice cartoon is an adaptation that was attempting to take the teen titans run from the 80s i believe? and young justice 98-2003, AND the 00's teen titans run. (decades of story to work with and way too many characters and groups, leads the cartoon to, in my opinion, suffer from a too many cooks situation)

and it does not handle kons character very well at all either </3 AND they used the t-shirt design while sticking him in a very unhealthy relationship w/ a character hes never really interacted w/ much in the comics. so umm. TL;DR very mixed feelings on t-shirt conner

i do recommend reading young justice though <3 (AND IM GLAD YOU LIKE MY DESIGN !! tysm <333 the curly hair is a must <3) sorry for the essay i just wanted to expand on why i put the t-shirt boy in the "sigh" categories 😭

ah, when i said i liked t-shirt conner, i didn’t mean the outfit, i was specifically referring to the young justice cartoon’s characterization ^^; i do acknowledge that it was a mixed bag that was forced to cherrypick years of history as an adaptation, and i get why conner fans don’t see him as Their Conner, but i’m gonna be so real with you. i liked him a lot in the cartoon 😭 as a standalone show, the first season does a rly good job of letting you understand his struggles and thought process, there were a lot of moments that endeared me to his angst while also letting him still feel like a kid. but i think i’m also biased towards characters that default to anger as a trauma response (completely unrelated to recent events believe it or not! wacky coincidence tho! foreshadowing even…?)

conner and m’gann’s relationship was def not the most interesting to me, but it’s also not the worst one. i have other biases against. other couples. but i’m curious to see how it develops bc unhealthy or not, i wanna see how it affects the characters, ykwim? like i’m not in it for the shipping, even if we All know there’s a better conner ship U__U

idk i just feel worn out by comics cynicism bc while i get it (i’m a hal fan, by god do i get it), i also don’t want to treat anything in dc too sacred. it’s more fun for me personally to view new iterations/adaptations as puzzles to work out rather than view them as character assassinations if even that. there are some truly unsalvageable things out there, but i generally think there’s smth good to gain in everything. and the young justice cartoon gave me a t-shirt conner to gain in my heart, so i can’t fault his character change too much as drastic as it is

im weirdly emo abt an ign interview and the "twitch makes an ow map" stream so let me throw my stream of consciousness here

alec mentioned in said interview that their plans to make new heroes includes a bigger effort to pull more existing characters from the lore, which is good

the map stream gave us a lot of cool insight into the actual tools used to build the game, and aaron rly felt like he was in his element (which is much better than him trying to imitate jeffs yule log stream)

but it all reminds me that the jeff era is well and truly over. and it had problems (tons and tons) but its also what made ow... ow. ow2 is still ow, but its not the same.

there was (i think) a kind of quirky charm to the spontaneous "thats a cool idea, lets put it in our game" that defined jeffs tenure. thats part of what made ow1 so charming (altho the community grew out of it).

ybarra (whomst i do not trust) also put out a press statement talking abt how blizzard has restructured since the 2021 crisis. even if i dont like him personally, i cant disagree w the notion to employ general franchise managers to steer their ips, determine/design roadmaps, and plan for new releases years in advance. a more consistent release schedule likely will help maintain players, attract-plus-retain talent, and improve morale. but it also means the days of whatever the ow team was cooking post-titan are p much done.

and i wanna specify those years were bad for a lot of workers. even if jeff and ow leadership were better than the rest of the old guard, there were likely still ppl who got hurt. we needed to move past this.

i like the idea of some titans growing wings as they age (based off some of the titan trapper costumes including them). plus wings=bird=clawthorne symbolism. and his tail is a little longer now :) the blue in his eyes is like.. blue=echoscream color.. vaguely…. maybe has to do with the collector helping him figure out how titans powers work to their fullest extent. + eye color changes representing important moments is A Thing in the owl house . though maybe its temporary?

his cloak, bracelet and bandaids are from the collector. the ‘friendship’ bracelet is made from the same material as the collectors necklace

anyway i cant wait to see if he gets a design update in s3 and where his story goes🙏

i dont work at all currently, but i'm a full-time uni graphic design student (on my last school year 🙏)!! most of my hobbies are pretty much all art-related!! like music, i play the guitar n ukulele sometimes i like to sing, making covers n shit lol then i guess i like film & photography stuff too, such as making cute lil videos with my friends and editing them etc

Hahhaa, well, that escalated quickly XDD  After drawing the “I won’t say I’m in love” sketch, I couldn’t get this idea out of my head XD This AU kinda has some changes compared to the actual Disney Hercules story, so here a list of things I thought of while drawing: -Ofc, Kim would be Hercules, but I couldn't see Ron taking over the Meg role and just making him Pegasus is boring (I also don't like KiGo, so yeah). So instead I made "Hercules" both Ron and Kim. My idea is that Kim is the actual child of Zeus and Hera (James and Ann) and Ron either is another god's kid or sth like a godly spirit. Instead of Herc making his legend, there already are prophecies of a hero defeating the titans. Being ancient times, ofc you'd think they boy is the actual threat. So, in the kidnapping scene, Pain and Panic (2 of Drakken's Henchmen) just take both babies, cos they don't know which one is the supposed hero, but still make Kim drink the most of the juice stuff. The parent's who adopt the two are Ron's parents from the show. With the prophecy being a know thing, the parents try to "train" Ron aka just implanting the idea that he is a chosen hero even though Kim is the one with powers. So, the movie would be a mix of Herc's actual journey and constant misunderstandings cos Kim does all the work while Ron thinks it's all his doing. - I also like to imagine in all the years they talk to Zeus' statue, Ron actually doesn't understand that James doesn't even talk to him but to Kim. It fit his character too, cos he's the type to babble on and on and not catch that he's not the focus at all. - As for abilities, Kim is basically the same as in the series, just with super strength. Think the ep where she gets Higo's powers. Ron himself ain't a pushover tho, cos he still is a divine deity. I'd say it's pretty much like in the show too. Super speed, endurance and resiliance with a good dose of dumb luck. - I toned down Phil's role cos both Kim and Ron already encourage each other. Still, Phil would be played by Mr. Barkin. Just imagining him giving in to training them and it cuts to him in full war gear and saying "Ok, listen up people". It just makes me chuckle. - The one to push Kim out of the falling pillars way would be Ron. (I couldn't see Shego do it) So Kim does go to hell and takes back Ron's soul and the end is basically the same, where she says she's going to stay on earth with Ron. And when the depart from Olympus, it would pan to James and Ann and he'd go "well, Roland could have stayed here too, he did show an act of a true hero" - Now for a bit more complicated stuff, Shego and Drakken. Since I'd love "misunderstanding" to be a running joke in this AU, Drakken, for one, doesn't understand til after "I won't say I'm in love" that the threat actually isn't Ron but Kim. The other thing he doesn't get is that Shego is his "assistant" by choice. Drakken thinks that, like in the movie, he saved Shego's old lover and took her soul for it. In actuality, Shego saved her previous partner's ass but he dumped her anyways, so she cursed him with Drakken's help. I'd like to think Dr. D presented her the contract and was busy monologuing while Shego edited the contract to her liking. First of, her old partner wouldn't be saved, but cursed, and that she had "hell priviledge", so, even though she's a living being, she could go in and out of hell as she pleases. - Cerberus would be a three headed Commodore Puddles. - I like to think that Shego still has her green glow attack thingy, just with limitations. My idea's that she got hit with hellfire at some point, before she even met Drakken, and she can now use it but only for a limited amout of time before it burns her. Her powers were also the reason Drakken tried to recruit her. - Back to the part about misunderstandings. The idea for this AU actually started because of me doodling fanart of Shego with her singing "I won't say I'm in love". The way it would play out is that Drakken sends her on a date with Ron to find his weakness (even though she knows he's not the problem). Ofc she cringes through the day and it's super awkward and in the end Ron kinda turns her down, which, ofc, makes her mad. Thankfully, before anything happens, Mr. Barkin shows up, just like Phil does, and they leave. Shego is super frustrated as she sits on a bench and she mindlessly picks flowers off a bush. She asks herself why tf she even does stupid stuff like that when she picks a blue flower. Cue "I won't say I'm in love". Now, I'd find it hilarious when the muses join in, thinking Shego is singing about Ron, when rly she is thinking about something (or someone?) else. (kinda ambiguous if she just does it for villanous life or for Drakken). But the whole sequence would be her bumping into Ron statues, the muses all swooning, when Shego acutally flinches away cos she got embarrased as she got a  glimps of a hades wall painting or sth - After that stuff, they have an argument and Shego finally makes see that Ron doesn't need to have a weakness, cos he IS the weakness. Mr. Barkin doesn't see them cos it's not relevant for the plot. The rest kinda plays out like in the movie. Ron is the one Drakken has hostage and he makes a deal with Kim. Ron and Kim would be sore at each other cos Ron was enjoying all the glory for the work KIM did and Kim felt underappreciated. So, even though Ron tries to stop her, Kim goes and gets beaten up. Mr. Barkin still gives the pep talk like Phil did, but Kim and Ron manage to defeat the titan with team work (they did BOTH have Mr.Barkin's training after all). Yeah, then Ron gets crushed, Kim gets her powers back and yadda, yadda - Oh, and last thing, gods actually have names and titles. So, Zeus' name is James but he has the title of Zeus. Drakken's name is Drew and his title is Hades, but being the petty dude he is, he went with sth original. The Dr. is him just flexing tho. Phew, that was a lot, but I had a lot of time to think while designing these AU versions. If I think of more, I'll add on to it.

Ok I know most of my pic dumps for the sake of gushing abt Cortex have been from Crash 4 but thats mostly because thats the most recent and most HD game (and I dont wanna watch the cutscenes for the N. Sane trilogy yet cuz I'm playing it right now and wanna see em for myself), and while I'll fully admit that Cortex's design in the 4th game is the most... visually appealing <w< I actually rly like how he looks in almost every game, especially from the late PS2 era! :3 (but NOT Crash of the Titans and Mind Over Mutant. Fuck those games and their art style 🤢)

OK SO at first i was making them for fun but now im involved. they are def justice league associates in the long term but i think that . all of them changing their identities would stem from an arguments/them snapping against their mentors. like maybe a mix of many things but mostly just how batman can treat tim as a tool and doesnt rly care/see how tired n run down he is and how he keeps distance w the family despite all the weight on his shoulder, the whole mess between kon and clark and also uhhh i think its kara who hates him ? im not exactly sure for bart n cassie but for bart it’d def be about how he’s def treated more like a kid and how wally n him dont rly get along (or at least i dont think they do/didn’t use to idk wahts up in current canon tho)... cassie im not sure but idk i just have this whole idea of cassie just SNAPPING at batman n superman in particular,,, like,,, idk situation where th’yre on a mission together and batman didn’t like how tim strategized the whole thing and he kind of chew him up in front of the rest of the team and cassie jst Snaps and tells him off and then superman is here so shes like AND YOU ! and releases years of slow hot anger toward him about the whole conner situation,,, like conners her friend she has seen him be so upset aobut superman not acknowledging him n stuff ...

so yeah thats how it starts . and when the four of them are alone cassie doesn’t break or panic (but she prob calls cissie and then cissie laughs remembering their yj days when she got mad at superman and was all cool until she hyperventialted when she n cassie were alone !!!! ya) and they all talk and . yea. they need. they need a break from their ~mentors~ , they need to be away and dissociated from them, need to be their own persons that the trinity + the flashes cant yell at like subordinates.

SO i think they’re a bit in between the titans and the outlaws !!!! they’re not toeing the lines with being a rogue or putting a foot in shady stuff, but they def handle things their way, and its not always the most just or correct way to do it (in the trinity’s opinion). but they’re doing amazing and i kinda want them to go en epic adventures that no one actually knows about bc they do their jobs RIGHT... eventually they reconnect w their mentors and their “hero families” (tho i think jason & tim would get on really good because of that event) and are affiliated with the jla. but it’s a ! tense few months . bruce and tim are also rly awkward and like tim knows bruce is trying but man . is he bad at communicating .

nevertheless you see he’s a worker for Hades, and meet a new god yay

and cupid’s plan is foiled

when you go home from the festival

ur all sad you couldn’t see Hades yourself

But he is trying not to freak out that he is in love
