#here's the audio I recorded last night #it came out fine but between night one and two they apparently figured out the space size better and turned the speakers down a lot #which was great for the health of my long term hearing my ears were ringing LIKE CRAZY for a LONG TIME after night one #but not for recording; there's crowd noise audible in it #but so then I was like well maybe I'll dl from a video instead and went looking and there are some out there without crowd noise BUT!!#I realized IT HAS TO BE THIS NIGHT #I realized that the reason I've gotten more and more into this cover as the tour has progressed is that he's been singing it differently #it's evolved!! it's gotten louder and like fuller?#but that's the thing he can't do without fucking up his voice so it was still measured.... until last night #the last night of tour #and THAT'S THE ONE I want to have #it sounds sooooo good #I love his trills and light tone #but man that full voice sweep... it gets me #ANYWAY... over the coming days I will be looking for peoples' posted vids for a better recording of it maybe #if i find one I'll post that too and add it to the dl folder #(I did check the saved lives neither is clean enough)#I also recorded pillowtalk last night and put that in there for the incredible crowd singalong #zaynie #stts lives #last requezt

I just think this is the funnier chunk.#Lan Wangji absolutely is the kind of person who has a perfect internal alarm clock for when it is time to get up.#He already has a dedicated sleep schedule. He is accurate within 10 seconds of 5am every day.#I think the Jiang disciples are most likely used to waking up around 6:00-7:00am #But the allure of having a guaranteed time keeper getting you up in the morning is worth the earlier hour.#I imagine they started outside lwj's door and slowly moved closer as the weeks went on.#Now LWJ has to cope with being way too warm in the night from all the extra body heat.#LWJ is not a fan of this but they scamper off immediately after he wakes up and they at least show initiative to follow routine.#NHS joins in only because he is a chronically heavy sleeper and needs this level of intervention to get up early.#His boldness would be a death sentence in the cloud recesses but here? Whole new game.#Yungmeng Jiang isn't a lawless land. It's just a land with different laws.#And one of those laws is to forcefully domesticate the catboy coded Lan boy through any means necessary.#Completely different tangent: I drew the thumbnail for this before I did comic 134. I then realized they had the same visual gag.#So I had to space this one out so it didn't seem like I repeated the waking up joke. So. Apparently halfas are like phoenixes or something, which Danny would’ve really liked to know.

See, usually with ghosts if they’re forced to retreat to their cores they reform as was, but apparently, since they’re still partially living, schrodinger's people and all that, halfas have to regrow their body from scratch. At least that’s what he’s understanding from Frostbite.

But how come he has to deal with it? It’s Dan’s fault for trying to pull such a stunt! Oh, it’s either him or Vlad? Well fuck, he might have calmed down and is going to therapy in both the living realm and the Zone, but he’s waaay not equipped to raise a child except for like, monetarily wise.

Well dammit, how long will this core incubation thing last, he has his new job in… let him check which offer he accepted again… He has his new job in Coast City that he needs to finish packing for and then all the rest of the stuff to do.

What do you mean it’ll take months?! He doesn’t have months?! Urgh, fine. At least being a mortician isn’t that exciting, nor dangerous. Just hand him Dan’s core and he’ll figure things out for the living side of things. He’s sure Tucker and Sam wouldn’t be against helping, if only to try and claim favorite aunt or uncle spots.
