Real question, when you do your more brutal and angsty thumbnails do they ever make you sad? You have a really cool way of capturing the mood and vibe in your thumbnails so I was ever wondering if they ever affected you?

Similarly, do you ever accidentally make the same faces/expression with your face that you're drawing?

When I'm drawing angst, I like to really hone in on what the characters are feeling or thinking in that moment. That being said, I don't really make myself sad. I'm too busy drawing the picture to do so lol. If anything I'm excited to see how people react XD

As for the second question, sometimes! Less when I'm actually drawing, and more when I'm coming up with ideas or scenarios for a drawing

Okay, I wanna actually talk about this bc I had fun with it

(Take this screenshot from TSBS discord bc I can't post the actual art asdfghgfds) The big one is the eyes. The way Solar and Nexus are looking at each other happily. The obvious take away is that it's meant to show just how close Nexus and Solar are, but at the cost of (unintentionally) casting Sun aside. Notice just how awkward Sun looks standing next to them. It's almost like they don't even notice that he's there. Sun's the odd one out with his eyes closed, not seeing what's in front of him (or rather, not wanting to see what's in front of him). There's another layer to it, however. If you'll remember Nexus' nightmare that started his spiral, in that timeline, Sun died as a result of them stopping Ruin's plan. Moon confirmed in the episode that this timeline was the least likely to happen. Nexus was always going to lose a brother, and if it wasn't Solar, well... The other piece of symbolism are the hands. Specifically Sun's. Sun wants to be involved. We know he likes to help in any way he can, even if it isn't much. He doesn't want to be tossed aside, which is why he's holding Nexus' hand. He loves Nexus, and he knows Nexus loves him too, and that he doesn't mean to push Sun away. Sun also cares about Solar, and knows that he isn't trying to take Nexus from him. This is why Sun is letting Solar and Nexus have their moment. He can tell how close the two are, and he doesn't want to get between that. Even if it kind of hurts to see. ...Also I thought Sun holding his hand would be cute asdfgfdsd

That's my personal interpretation of what their relationship was like, anyway. I have no say on what's canon, so I could be totally wrong lol. I just thought it'd be fun to incorporate my own thoughts into the thumbnail

I saw today's SaMs episode 😋 Sun is looking at the robot and the little Exclamation Mark there 👀 and the robot is waving happily! And I love the background!

Trivia: The reason you see a Ferris wheel and circus tent in the distance is bc the episode synopsis I read had me thinking Sun was gonna be in his mindscape, rather than a different planet. Due to that, I added them as a nod to my personal hc for what I think Sun's mindscape would look like (A beautiful garden/forest that also has a small circus nearby)

Lmaooo originally it was supposed to be more obvious that Ruin got punched, but at the time I didn't know for sure that Moon would actually do that, so in the end I went for smth similar to that one cat meme. Thanks!
