my favorite human thing is that one thing that sticks with us for life after a formative experience with it. Growing up watching Mianite over and over again every year since the first captain sparklez stream, that’ll do shit to a person. That series got me through hellish years of my youth, can’t believe I’m old enough to be crying in the club thinking about queer icon Prince Andor??when I’m in my darkest moments, I find myself thinking about mianite.

Mianite D&D AU/headcanon ideas inspired by this ask from @licantropa and the tags by @syndianites and @kiwibirdlafayette

Jordan - Aasimar Paladin (Judgement)/Artificer (Artillerist)

The recently chosen champion of Lady Ianite.

He ran away started his journey away from home to find the answers of his mysterious goddess’ whereabouts in the middle of the night with only basic adventuring supplies and a small robotic companion/pet he’d crafted himself. He ends up finding an abandoned temple turned prison, which it seems his goddess had thankfully escaped from, but he quickly found himself locked in it as a group of opportunist bandits decide to try and get a ransom.

He ends up rescued by Tom, Tucker, and Sonja, a very slightly more experienced group of adventurers which happens to include the champions of the other two gods. They had been hired to rescue Jordan by his (non-biological) brother, and are surprised to hear about Jordan’s quest to find the lost goddess, but all happily join on the quest for their own reasons.

Tom - Tiefling Barbarian (Zealot)/Warlock (Fiend)

The not-quite-undead champion of Lord Dianite.

Once upon a time, Tom was just a normal barbarian, though he doesn’t remember those times very well. As far as he knows, he was once a part of an adventuring party that ended up running into a monster far beyond their own skill and ended up dead. However, his own skills ended up catching the attention of Lord Dianite, who brought him back to life as his champion -- as well as giving him a few more bonuses.

He’s the champion with by far the closest relationship to his god, having a lot of communication with him compared to Jordan (whose goddess is missing) and Tucker (whose god might as well be missing). However, his communication with Dianite has become a double edged sword as the god seems very against him helping Jordan find Lady Ianite, instead telling him to get the man to join their side. He’s happy enough to do the task, but can’t help but get nervous as they start to find more evidence that Dianite might have something to do with his sister’s disappearance and what that might mean for his friends with his loyalty to his god.

Tucker - Human Cleric (Forge)

The champion of Lord Mianite.

Tucker has always been especially loyal to his god, having grown up in temples surrounded by clerics and paladins of the highest respect. He trained and duelled with the best throughout his childhood, though a lot of his training ended up being spent in the forges creating weapons for heroes older and more powerful than himself. Most expected Tucker to become a Paladin, but his divine blessing came a lot more directly and his skills with metalsmithing became his very connection with the god he's a champion for.

He was the first person in the adventuring party after he went out into the world to prove himself as Lord Mianite's champion, meeting Tom when the two were hired for the same job. He's happy enough to help Jordan, though he's never heard of Lady Ianite before, as he believes that it might finally be the quest he's looking for to prove himself as a champion.

Sonja - Shifter Bard (Lore)/Warlock

An Archivist of the Gods.

Sonja has always been a gatherer of information, making sure to collect and tell the tales of great heroes. She was able to gather great crowds to listen to her spin tales into songs and performances. Though showy, she rarely bends the truth of the tale, giving a far more accurate tale even if it does not give the best reflection of the heroes or gods she is telling the tale of. She's popular with the people and can typically charm those who don't like her to get them on her side. However she's banned from a fair number of libraries and museums dedicated to heroes who would prefer their tales be told the way that they're currently being told.

If anyone asks, Sonja is a follower of Lord Mianite. And in fact that's what the other members of the adventuring party believe this to be the case, as in the most technical sense it is true. While definitely not as devoted to the gods as any of her fellow party members, she has a more powerful than most connection to Lord Mianite; she just also happens to have made a pact with an ancient god eating entity for more magical knowledge, but that's really her business and no one else's, even if she can feel her patron tugging to ruin their quest for the lost goddess at every opportunity.

Capsize - Half-elf Rogue (Swashbuckler)/Paladin (Crown)

“The Paladin of Ianite” / The messenger of Ianite

A pirate captain on her own quest to free Ianite who the main party find and join up with by apparent coincidence. They ordinarily meet in a tavern where Jordan, Tom, and Sonja all try flirting with her, only Sonja being in any way successful. However, said first meeting is cut short by a group of armed individuals entering the tavern, demanding a meeting with “the Paladin of Ianite” alone that evening and to make sure she actually shows, they have her brother. As the thugs teleport away, Capsize dashes out to try and find Redbeard as she recognised them as lackeys of one of her less trustworthy clients. The main party doesn't see her panicked reaction due to them all panicking themselves, believing the threat to be directed towards Jordan.

Due to the mix up, the main group end up breaking into the back and freeing the prisoner who it turns out is not Jordan's brother, but Capsize's. They quickly rush to help Capsize, who is holding her own in the meeting turned fight but severely outnumbered until the others show up. After the fight, introductions are done properly. Upon learning of Jordan's quest and title, Capsize and her brother both burst out laughing but offer to take the group to Ianerea to meet the other champion of Ianite as a payment for their help.

hey so you had that headcanon that tom could see ghosts right. what if after tucker's death on trinity island he got lucky immediately after while finding the diamonds because tucker (in spectator mode or w/e) led him to it

I imagine that, with Tom seeing ghosts, Tucker just followed him around EVERYWHERE, complaining about everything and anything. It was sad, at first, that Tucker died, but how in the hell does Tom explain to Sonja and Jordan that the reason he keeps making fun of Tucker dying is because he's right there being a wet napkin?

And then when Sonja dies it gets just a bit worse. Not because theres TWO ghosts following him around, but because Sonja died /underwater/. She has this sickly blue sheen to her, and even though they pulled her body from the water to properly bury her. With Tucker, he'd been so thoroughly disintegrated that he just looks normal, if not a tad singed. With Sonja, it's like watching her drown in real time, except the water didn't kill her. That almost perfectly circle burn mark in the middle of her chest did.

Of course, when Sonja dies she and Tucker become a running peanut gallery and joke about Tom and Jordan making out now that they're gone. But when Tom and Jordan finally, FINALLY, beat all the bosses and its just them two? When they have to fight to the death? Tucker and Sonja are silent. That, more than the harrowing thought of having to be the one to strike down a friend with no chance at revival until they plunge into the next world, is horrifying.

Because at least when they were talking they still felt alive. During that fight? It felt like they had all already died, with Tom one foot in the grave behind them

Some notes:

No new tags that I saw this month, though as always I could have missed something! As you can see, we already have quite the assortment of canonized tags.

Fics are still primarily in english, but we have three exceptions with significant spanish fics. Karmaland (740 of 842 are in spanish, from 731 last month), Tortillaland (110 of 115 are in spanish, the same as last month), and QSMP (752 of 7,375 are in spanish, from 668 last month.)

QSMP also shows 39 fics in French, up from 30 last month, and 405 in Brasilian Portugese, up from 375 last month. While I did not check every language this month, I checked on the languages I knew had a fic in QSMP and we see 1 fic in ASL (probably a misclick as it appears to be in english), 1 fic in Bahasa Malaysia, 1 fic in German, 1 fic in Esperanto, 1 fic in Filipino, 5 works in European Portugese, 5 fics in Русский (Russian), 1 fic in Suomi (Finnish), 1 fic in Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese), and 3 fics in 中文-普通话 國語 (Mandarin Chinese, I believe), all the same as last month. New is two fics in Polski (Polish), one fic in Svenska (Swedish), and one fic in Dansk (Danish).

In the small and micro fandoms (under 200 fics), some of the most active small fandoms have grown out of this category so we only saw small amounts of growth. The standout fandoms all saw an increase of 6 works, and that was a tie between Content SMP, New Life SMP, and Witchcraft SMP. Note that Content SMP was coming up from only 24 works, so 6 new works is an increase of 25% of the fandom, truly impressive.

In the midsize fandoms (200-1000), Fable SMP has broken that 1000-fic mark and can no longer qualify for our standout fandom! Instead, our most active fandom was Evolution SMP, with 33 new works, followed by Mystreet with 20 fics and Minecraft: Story Mode with 24 fics. Mystreet and Story Mode are both new fandoms so it's unclear whether that's people retagging old work or true new fics.

For the post-canon big fandoms: Empires went up by 178 works, singificantly more than last month's 117, but not beating the previous month's 240, and Dream SMP's increase of 918 beat the previous month's 767, but is still only the second time I've seen this fandom fall under a thousand works plus a month. Hermitcraft is between seasons right now, but still experienced that holiday exchange boost, as its increase of 784 beat both last month's 574 and the previous month's 651. For active fandoms, traffic series posted a staggering 831 fics, which is its highest ever number, beating April 2023's 671 fics. QSMP saw 865 fics, which is part of a three month decline (894 last month, 913 the month before), but still posting numbers that are only exceeded by DSMP.

Overall, the number of fics posted under Video Blogging-RPF (the umbrella fandom that contains all MCYT) is 4,223 fics, a significant increase from last month's 3,489, and the previous month's 4,035, but still exceeded by October's record 4,702. Notably, it's higher than the summer numbers and almost exactly the same as the number we saw last January, 4,235 new works.

Kristin: That after a few years the souls ne sent back to me to go to the true afterlife for one. And that it did not punish or reward souls as the judgement comes to me.

Grian: Normally replacing gods is nearly impossible, XD's domain includes however only the dream smp server. I sentence XD to being stripped of his divinity and for it to be divided between Callhan and Foolish.

BigB: I sentence him with 100 years in my domain to make up for the limbo situation as well as an additional 300... Make it 350 years of community service afterwards.

Jimmy: Your domain being? For the record and all.

BigB: The backrooms, you must have heard of them.

Pearl: I sentence him to mandatory therapy to last until further notice.

hello!!! as you are the resident miante person in mcyt (there might be another one but in my opinion it's you) I have a question: if I wanted to watch mianite how would I go about that/where do I find it? I know it's a youtube thing but I don't know which channel it's actually on and I am. Extremely Curious about it & want to watch it but I have no idea where to do that /genuine question

(also, I know it's got multiple POVs, is there anyone you'd recommend I start with?)

hello! thanks for the ask!

mianite has four main POVs that remain in VOD and episode form on the creators' channels, they all have a playlist for it and you can find them pretty easily by looking up "[creator name] mianite s1" on youtube.

i recommend starting off with jordan captainsparklez' POV like we did, as he is involved in mostly everything in both s1 and s2 and his episodes are edited down to only really have the important bits. if you decide to watch back through the series later from another perspective, tom syndicate's POV is another good one to watch as he's kind of on the opposite side of everything happening in s1 and it puts a lot of his actions in context that jordan left out of his episodes.

if you don't want to watch through the series in its entirety (which is completely understandable), fern @voidandradiance has made a playlist of the important lore moments in both mianite s1 and s2 that she'd be happy to share :]

also it's really funny to me that we are the resident Mianite Guy to you when we've only been here for like, six months. this series turns ten years old today and there are people in this fandom who have been here since the beginning of it or at least who have been here for way, way longer than we have.

@coolcattime's blog is more of a general purpose one, like ours is, but she carries the f/f ships in the Mianite fandom and is also a great writer! she's written a lot of neat AU ideas and although we haven't talked with her much she definitely lives up to her url- she's one cool cat :]

@cactusprisms is also someone that we see around a lot in the notes of our mianite posts, although we unfortunately havent talked much. also more of a general purpose blog but worth following anyways. shes vibing.

Hey hey hey, in your void jumper post, you showed portraits of different void jumpers and the reasons why they're void jumpers. Sparklez is a Void Jumper but i don't know which reason you used. Is it because of his Ender dragon hybridization? His Ianite blessings? His multiple death via Void? Being a coded older player? Is it because he's MC Story Mode Guardian of the Doors? I'm genuinely curious, there's so many reasons for Sparklez to be at ease in the Void.

he does have many reasons to be at ease in the void indeed (also hello???? guardian of the doors in mcsm?? whAT DID I MISS?) but specifically in that hc it was mostly focused on the mianite void jumps for him - how the void reacted to the champions, how it affected them and literally changed them (STARING AT THE BEGINING OF S2 I SEE YOU MF I SEE YOU) and all that jazz! and i can see the confusion on trying to figure out the source of his reasonin my b my b

but yeah generally speaking even - the whole post and idea was in fact based off of those two specific void jumps (isles doesn't exist. i'm a hater about that specific series)

hello my sillies!! since there was a bit of interest in more ab the nonsense that is my take on godswap mianite AU i went and dug up some of the brainrot I wrote last year but never shared outside of a private discord server + new stuff that I've recently came up with :D Enjoy! ❤️

- Jordan was born to parents who are priests of Mianite and raised in the temple- and ultimately was meant to be Mia's champion, and was trained as such for the majority of his life. However, being around mianite for most of his life made him cynical of the god and his principles, and went he got older, he left to seek out the god's brother, pledging himself to Dianite and wanting to bring about chaos. Amused and flattered by the man's near blind loyalty, Dia makes Jordan his champion

- His primary weapon is a firework crossbow gifted to him by Dianite himself (has piercing 8, mending, quick charge and unbreaking V (and flame on it, for use with arrows)) Plays off the sparkly and the fact that this man is a goddamn amazing sharpshooter no matter what universe he's in

- Mianite instead finds his champion in Tom Syndicate, the formerly deceased son of lighthouse keepers in the realm- and is brought back to life by the god (Mia never explains why specifically Tom was chosen, is described to people as just a "godly omnipotence" kinda thing)

- Shortly after Jordan, Tom, and the priests (aka FyreUK, with Wag and Matt under Dia, K.Tom under Mia) arrive and start making a mess of the realm with their shenanigans, a pirate ship captained by a 4th priest named BruteAlmighty "Phil" and two people- a parrot shapeshifter by the name of Sonja OmgitsVoidparrot and Tucker Jeriicho (normal human... allegedly)

- Sonja and Tucker both grew up in Ianarea, and with Phil's arrival from the End, have been searching across the realm for their missing goddess, and their messages led them to the Spawn Island (which I wish was canonically named istg) where supposedly a ruins containing information is hiding (Jordan and Tom both claim they know where this is. they dont)

- When Sonja was younger she was named Ianite's champion at a ceremony in Ianarea and was gifted her shapeshifting abilities as a way to hide from forces of evil and get into places more secretly

When the Darkness began encroaching, the gods all sought out their respective priests and gifted them with powers to protect their respective domains (Dianite took in two- one to look over his temple in the nether, one to keep in the overworld because. chaos agenda- that one's Wag) and guide their champions when they found them

- Wag takes Dec's place by this logic i guess, he lives by the nether portal and will be anyone's personal tour guide because he likes doin it. and yes he absolutely uses any excuse to mess with people to mess with people he can be a menace a lot if he wants to

- Also Dec is a Wizard, I haven't developed him yet (he also has no design dont worry about it) but yes. Mans took on Athar himself he's just built different

heyo! I'm writing a Mianite fic for a writer fest thingy and was wondering if you had any tips and/or song recs?

well for starters, having reference materials of canon is SO helpful when trying to wrangle timelines or plot points. jordan first outlines ianitee ideals in an episode that had absolutely nothing else plot related and that i nearly missed on rewatches. here is my timestamped list of plot-important s2 episodes, as well as my timestamped list of andor appearances. hollis has a similar list for s1 episodes here. there is also the ongoing project of aligning s2 episode numbers across streamers. the wiki is pretty good about lore book transcriptions, if nothing else. i have nothing for isles so if that's your setting then godspeed brave soul

as for other tips- young jordan can and will say fuck. not often, but he can. all of tr have Very distinct voices and speech patterns, but they're easy to pick up on and write. (when in doubt, make a weed joke.) npc speech patterns never align in either formality or consistency with tr, so go with vibes and good luck with the pirates. sonja and tom both have secrets that you will not know if you haven't watched their povs and i'm willing to bet that tucker does too. wag's pov also exists. when it comes to it, jordan swore to vengeance, not to mediation; sonja swore to order (sort of), not dictatorship. they disagreed sometimes with the gods in ruxomar. it's fun it's all fun just pick a thread to pull at and run with it dude

The Smiling God vs Saiki Kusuo: 49.1/50.9 With just a .8% difference, Saiki K. managed to pull through! And on the Night Vale website no less! Great job Saiki! Your friends are probably very proud, though you probably don't enjoy all this attention,,,, sorry!

Mare Incubus vs Mianite: 50.4/49.6 Would ya look at that, Mare Incubus made it to round 2! I honestly didn't think he would get this far, considering the fact that he's the protagonist of a Norwegian book series that had never been translated to English. All that propaganda certainly paid off! Great job, Mare!

Jake English vs Mythra: 49.5/50.5 I honestly didn't think this match would be so close! I'm not sure who I thought the favorite would be, but I certainly didn't think they would almost tie! Sorry Jake, looks like your Hope powers weren't strong enough to get you the win. You still have a long way to go on your journey, young Page. As for Mythra, well, I don't know much about Xenoblade, so here's what my friend has to say about her win: "I see mythra won and therefore everyone is correct"

The Great God Om vs Feena: 86.8/13.2 I'm so sorry for this matchup, Feena. I genuinely underestimated how popular Discworld was! Feena will have another chance at victory in the losers bracket. Maybe this time, she'll have a fair shot at victory.

Rosalina vs Scaramouche: 81.1/18.9 As a Genshin fan, I think it's very funny that Scaramouche lost this hard. I'm glad we can all agree that he's truly a small, sad little wet noodle. Also, fun fact, I beat his boss fight first try. Get rekt you pathetic little man.

Shade Lord vs Ozpin: 80.8/19.2 Ya know what, I get it. Shade Lord does look pretty cool. Perhaps this was an unfair matchup. To be honest, I kind of thought RWBY's popularity would make this unfair for Shade Lord.

Dianite vs Alecto: 18.6/81.4 Yeah, I should've seen this coming. Once again, I didn't know how popular The Locked Tomb was when I made the bracket! I'm so sorry Dianite, but you still have a second chance in the losers bracket!

Bill Cipher vs Madoka Kaname: 35.8/64.2 Honestly, it was so funny to see everyone rooting for Madoka to beat Bill's ass in the tags. In other, unrelated news, Bill Cipher was found dead in Miami. Oops, I wonder who could've done that!

The Glow Cloud vs Q: 70.4/29.6 I honestly thought this would be closer, considering how popular Star Trek is. This matchup definitely surprised me. Also, my mom was very upset about Q's loss. She's very disappointed in you all.

Venti/Lord Barbatos vs Void Termina: 32.9/67.1 Alas, my poor blorbo! As poll runner, there was nothing I could do to sway opinions in Venti's favor, for I must remain impartial! It hurts to see my favorite silly little guy lose, but at least we still have the losers bracket.

The Harvest Goddess vs Hanyuu Furude: 51.2/48.8 Yet another blorbo, gone too soon! Hanyuu, you're the best in my heart. Unfortunately, this match was too close to allow Hanyuu to qualify for the losers bracket, so this was her only chance. Hanyuu, you will be missed.

Starclan vs Featherine Augustus Aurora: 67.4/32.6 I've never played Umineko, but I have some friends who have, and, well. We all voted for Starclan. To think, Starclan is so powerful that even Umineko fans voted against Featherine. Ah, well. She still has another shot with the losers bracket.

AU Snippet December: Day Thirteen!

Mianite Ace Attorney AU!

“I’m looking for Capsize… I was told that she works here,” The woman said, avoiding Tom’s eyes as she fiddled with her bag straps.

Her face was half hidden behind the hood of her jacket that seemed almost too cutesy for how on edge she seemed and her whole general demeanour. The fox ears that decorated it just looked a little off.

“I… That really depends. Which Capsize are you looking for?” Tom floundered with what he was meant to say. Obviously he couldn't tell this random woman that Capsize worked here. For all he knew, she might be planning to murder her.

But he also really should've thought harder about what excuse he was going to use because how many people could really have the name Capsize?

“Dunbar. Capsize Dunbar. The prosecutor,” Her tone was harsher now, as she was clearly not in the mood for him dodging her question. Though thankfully, she had given Tom a perfect way to avoid it again. 

“You're in a defence attorney's office. Why would there be a prosecutor here?” He said, matching her tone to hopefully chase her off. It wasn't a lie either, so that would help sell his answer.

He expected the woman to quickly correct herself, the way that people did on the stand in court. For her to say that she meant Capsize Dunbar the defence attorney.

Instead she looked up at him properly for the first time, for some reason completely panicked. She had bags under her eyes so dark that it looked like she hadn't slept in months.

“But she was a week away from getting her badge. Why would she--!” She sounded panicked, but her words felt shattering to Tom.

She did know Capsize. There was no way that she would know that she was so close to getting her prosecutor's badge if she didn't.

But that was years ago. Why didn't she know that Capsize had quit to train under Spark and was now a defence attorney?

Tom wouldn't get to learn the answers to those questions, as Spark came into the room from his office. The woman stared at him, her eyes widening.

“Miss Foxx?” Spark questioned, stepping past Tom and towards her.

She bolted out of the office.

Sneak-peek at the Sonja/Capsize/Martha fic that has gotten entirely too long

(Context: Capsize still died and turned into a zombie, but instead of killing her Redbeard asked TR to try and cure her bc Tom is literally Right There. She is tossed into the Void with the squad and gets taken in by Sonja who is trying to find a cure for her)

Before Sonja could get lost in the thought Capsize made a noise. At first, she thought it was just an unconscious grunt, but then another one followed, along with the sound of a book sliding across the table. She looked over to see Capsize pointing at what seemed to be a picture of a tree.

Leaning over, Sonja felt like she’d seen the tree before. There was no color in the book, but the shape was distinct. A dense thick of leaves on top, circular in nature, that seemed almost man-made. Below it had exposed roots that weaved in and out of the ground before taping off about three feet from the base. There was a few sparkles around the drawing of the tree that implied it was either magical or gave off light. Or both.

Capsize tapped her finger again, drawing Sonja’s focus to the word just above it. Purple. She traced the sentence back to its source.

”An interesting trait of the Silverwood tree is its ability to change the landscape around it. It will turn the area it's in into a more lush, magically dense mini-biome, even able to cleanse the lingering purple remains of previously tainted lands. This also leads to the growth of other magical plants that…”

Sonja perked up as a tingle of excitement ran up her spine. “Oh my gods!” She turned to mildly startled Capsize, “That’s it!”

At Sonja’s face-splitting grin, the zombie’s face smoothed out into an almost-smile, her shoulders relaxing from where they’d been bunched up. Then she was tackle-hugged.

“You’re the best ever!” Sonja said after she stopped the duo from toppling to the ground, “I could kiss you right now. Would that be weird? Okay, maybe that would be weird but I can think about that later.”

She pulled back, letting an arm linger over Capsize’s shoulder while she turned back to the book at hand, scanning the rest of the page. Her mind flooded with ideas and she hastily cleared a space to start taking notes on their newest discovery.

Of course, being so caught up in her newest lead, Sonja missed the faint blush and wide-eyed look Capsize gave her.

So I've been getting some like Resident Evil brainrot from your AU and firstly its great and I love all the character placements so much!

And I was wondering if you had any ideas of what Sonja and Capsize do in the mansion plot point wise since I believe there isn't much canon wise to say what Jill and Chris actually each do.

Also I'm like curious if you had certain scenes you have in mind or if its just the characters so far.

I’m glad you enjoyed the au!

I’ve just finished replaying the game (Jill’s route) so I could refresh myself on the mansion layout and boss fights.

This is where things get tricky because canonically to the RE lore everyone survived the night (Barry, Jill, Chris, Rebecca, & Wesker) but we don’t see everyone from either perspective, Barry missing in Chris’s and his fate left unknown, while Chris is missing in Jill’s and Rebecca is nonexistent. But it’s canon that they were all there.

So in the au I think it’d make sense if Capsize & Alyssa never run into Sonja, but they’d also have to get captured by Mianite semi early on.

Boss fight wise I think it’d make sense like this:

Capsize fights: Crimson Head, Mother Neptune, Plant 42

Sonja fights: Lisa Trevor, Black Tiger, Tyrant

For specific scenes, Capsize and Alyssa beat Sonja and Spark to the Residence area of the map and just complete it, Capsize who has had an awful feeling about all of this begins to question Mianite who just so happened to run into them there. Getting frustrated that things aren’t going his way he reveals himself and begins threatening her. At gunpoint, Capsize laughs at him. Mianite goes to shoot Alyssa, but Capsize takes the (non-fatal) hit instead. From there, they are lead to a cell where both of them will stay captive til Sonja releases them at the end. (in the original re1 in Chris’s route when he confronts Wekser, he just starts fucking laughing at him, I think that’d be in character for Capsize to do)

Another scene I’ve been thinking about would be one after the Lisa Trevor fight. Sonja being more demanding to Spark on getting some answers she’s sure he has, while Spark is very much trying to talk around the issues and there being more tension from that point forward on their teamwork.

Other than that, figuring out who opens what doors and how the hell puzzle solving is going to work out is gonna be a tough one.

Also! Regarding your tags, I wanted to respond to them but I got sidetracked…playing re1 😅.

The piano thing is just a reference to Chris needing Rebecca to play it for a puzzle, while Jill just knows how to do it. And yea there is definitely a learning curve when it comes to the controls for the game, but for me after I got used to them I found them enjoyable. Like I really like the different camera angles and how it made the game more tense, but I can definitely understand how irritating they can be. Sherry is supposed to be Ianita (knew I was forgetting to mention somebody). I’ve also been going back and forth on Martha being Anita birken (although Steve would definitely not be William Birken, maybe Gaines? but more a fellow umbrella scientist and not husband to Martha).

As someone who still regularly thinks about the many Au’s you have written (special shout out to the mianite but god dragons one) I will gladly read another Skyrim au to brain rot over 🫶

It’s a My Hero Dad for One (Sort of) au and specifically takes place during the Dragonborn dlc with Midoryia as the Last Dragonborn, All for One as Hermaeus Mora, and Shigaraki as Miraak.

Midoryia is arguably a bit late to Solstheim because he was busy stopping the world eating Dragon Aldduin and the Vampire Lord Harkon along with bandits, negotiating a cease fire on the civil war, stopping the necromancer Wolf Queen from being resurrected, accidentally meeting the Daedric Prince of Madness while trying to help poor man, trying to help a blacksmith get a dog and ending up helping said dog return to the side of Clavicus Vile, stopping a different group of vampires from talking over the city of Morthal, and well you get the point. So it wasn’t until he found the letter from that old cultist at the bottom of his bag that he was like “oh yeah I should deal with that”.

Midoryia is just trying to do his job and help the people of Solstheim, All for One has decided that new Dragonborn is his actually (he had ages ago but seems the little mortal is a tad forgetful), and Shiggy is jealous but also wants to return to Solstheim.

Then throw in Lady Nagant as a mage of House Telvanni to busy actually doing her job to be bothered by the politics of people who have yet to find assassins good enough to do anything to her, her protege/Lowkey surrogate little brother/sort of son figure Hawks, and the missing ash covered eldest son of Yarl Todoroki for added spice.

I could probably talk abt it all day but i shan't. first of all, didn't start watching until it "ended", and by the time i found Sparklez vids on it, the vods were gone which i mourn every single day. But still, I watched his cut down videos first bc they were easier to digest for teen me and man i loved it. I'm really tempted to watch Syn's pov but im not sure (I love tucker but idk i cant get into his solo pov)

It was my first introduction to smps and i love how small and close the group was. I love big smps dont get me wrong but there was something comfy abt less than 20 people goofing around. It was funny watching the laws slowly start being writing bc of the shit they did lmao (but god do i love the purges- étoiles you would have loved them)

Ianite is a total babe and god bless jordan for coming in and oc-ing his own god hell yeah, i don't think the series would have turned out the way it did if he didn't do that.

I will say, I rewatch the first season much more than the second mainly bc the amount of mods they added kind of turned me away back then, but i am a changed person and i plan to watch it more thoroughly. I really love the switch of roles between dianite and mianite too, felt right. I love the third season soooo much too, totally a standout in my book ;)
