I think Adventure Time will always be a happy-sad thing for me. It was Nudge’s favorite show and it meant a lot to him. We watched a lot of it together in his last month. We started in season 5 because we knew we couldn’t start from the beginning and finish it in time. We watched from season 5, all the way through the end, and three of the four distant lands specials. We watched Finn and Jake Are Dead and neither of us said it, but we both knew that very soon, he would be dead, too. What a strange feeling, to watch a future echo of my own life— a future where I’m Finn, old and walking this world without my brother for so long, waiting to meet him and get back on the wheel of reincarnation again. Strange to know he was thinking about it, too. Finn and Jake, Shermy and Beth, Kit and Nudge. I’m rewatching AT from the very start again, and it’s hard sometimes. I keep wanting to turn to him and make a joke, or ask him a lore question. I keep waiting for him to sing the Island Song with me during the credits. I miss him a lot. I’m going to have to wait a long time to see him again.

Imagine Luo Binghe trying to delicately introduce his shizun to such strange concepts as smart phones and credit cards, while Shen Qingqiu is just desperately trying to figure out how dumb he should play this. Would it be believable for him to get everything on the first try? There have to be some differences between what he knows and this world's versions, right, because of the demons and cultivators and things? Right?? But it's not like any of this actually IS difficult for him to grasp!
