#I mean look at the show and tell me she isn't. I'll wait. Exactly you can't.

Touch Tank
Pairing: Loki x Reader
Word Count: 5.5k (look it wasn't supposed to be this many- my characters got away from me)
Warnings: sheesh, oral (f receiving), fingering, handjob, creampie, Loki is very soft and worshiping, unprotected sex (be safe) I think that's it idk this is kind of mild compared to some of my other stuff- could be waaaay more raunchy lmao
Genre: fluff, smut
Summary: Loki is not the easiest person to get close to, but you're not deterred by his standoffishness. He deserves a friend in the tower and you're determined to be at least that much.
He's so pretty when he goes down on me // he tells me he's gentle when he wants to be // I think he wants to be gentle with me ~ Touch Tank by Quinnie

***
You rush down the hall, excited for your night out with a group of your non-Avenger friends. You make a point to see your other friends as often as you can to balance those relationships with your ones on the team. After all, living with the Avengers means that you see them all the time, but being an Avenger is not all there is to you. Walking into the main room you're surprised to see Loki sitting at the kitchen counter, just kind of staring at nothing.
"You alright Lo?" You ask him carefully. Your question seems to pull him out of whatever trance he was in.
"I'm fine." He says, though his face isn't convincing.
"Okay? Happy staring- I'm going out so- I'll see you later then." You frown heading over to the main elevator. Loki's not exactly close to anyone in the tower except Thor, and even that he'd argue is false but you always make a point to include him even when the others ignore him a bit. As you ride down to street level you can't help but wonder what has him so pensive up there by himself. On the street, waiting for a taxi to flag down, you can't get yourself to shake Loki from your mind so- reluctantly you dial one of your friends.
"Y/n!" Your friend's excited voice practically yells down the line.
"Hey! Listen, you know I hate to do this, and I wouldn't if it wasn't important, but I'm not going to be able to make it out tonight, something's come up. I'm okay, I just can't come. You guys have fun! I want loads of pictures and a play-by-play once one of you returns to life tomorrow yeah?"
"Aw we're gonna miss you!"
"Ditto! But I'll see you guys soon! Tell the girls I said hi!" You say.
"Of course! Take care, and call if you need anything!"
"Same to you!" You blow a kiss as you end the call and sigh. "Dammit Loki." You roll your eyes as you turn around and go back inside. You ride the elevator back up to the main floor where Loki is still sitting at the counter. You knock on the counter in front of him and grab a bottle of water from the fridge.
"Aren't you meant to be going somewhere?" Loki's eyes narrow at you.
"I was, but I called my friend on my way down and she's actually not feeling too hot so we decided it'd be best to reschedule once she's feeling better." You shrug. You know better than to tell him you cancelled your plans because you saw him moping at the counter. He'd flip at the first possible hint of you pitying him, even though that isn't what this is.
"I see."
"Do you want to watch a movie or something?" You offer.
"What?" He scoffs.
"Well- I was supposed to be spending time interacting with people tonight and that fell through but I'd feel kinda bummed if I spent the whole evening alone now after all the mental prep to be social so if you can be so terribly bothered to hang out for a bit I'd- value that." You say. Loki looks you over as he considers your words and then he sighs.
"I suppose I could spare a few hours, but only because I can't standwatching you mope around the tower the way you do whenever you're disappointed, it's pathetic. But this favor is a huge inconvenience to me I just want you to know that." He says and you have to fight the urge to smile. You know the show of bravado is for his own sake more than anything, and you're willing to let him have it, but it's funny to think of how much rationalizing he's doing to convince himself it's alright to spend time with you.
"Your sacrifice is both duly noted and greatly appreciated. I can offer you compensation in the form of a meal or freshly baked cookies." You say. Loki's eyes light up very briefly at the offer of cookies, he'll never admit it out loud but he loves your baking, he always eats almost half a tray when you make them.
"You know Midgardian food has very little appeal to me, but I suppose a batch of cookies will do." He says with feigned disinterest.
"Do you want them now or at a later date?"
"I have no interest in dragging this out, so now would be better."
"Alright, give me five minutes to change, I'll make you some cookies and we can throw on a movie." You smile at him. You change out of your dress and into a hoodie and shorts. Twenty minutes later you're sat with a tray of cookies and a few other small bites with some random sitcom on the TV.
"I don't understand the point of this. Is there even a plotline?" Loki scoffs.
"Yes but only a little one."
"A little one?"
"So there are a number of shows that you can throw on and watch out of order with little consequence. Like if you do watch every episode in order there is a throughline of like character development and life changes but if you jump into, let's say, season 3 episode 2, you'll just see some funny little antics that are mostly inconsequential and chances are will not come up again until maybe the finale where they recount all their little goofs over the years." You explain.
"Why?"
"Mindless entertainment? It's nice to have something to watch that you don't have to be aware of watching." You shrug. "Lots of shows have complex storylines and characters that need to be paid attention to in order to comprehend what you're watching. Sometimes you don't want to do all of that." You shrug.
"If you don't want to think about what you're watching, why watch anything?" He frowns.
"Pass the time, fill the silence, any number of things. Like we have one on but we're talking now so we're not really paying it any attention, but because it's a sitcom we're not missing anything vital because there's nothing vital to miss. And when this conversation lulls to a stop we'll just tune back in and pick up wherever it's at."
"Your Midgardian habits are very strange." Loki hums.
"What do you do when you're bored and want to be entertained without much effort?" You ask him.
"That specific phenomenon I'm not quite familiar with. If I'm bored, I read, practice spells, on Asgard there wasn't much time for boredom." He shrugs.
"Well, things are different on Midgard. And seeing as you hate everyone and everything about this place you may find yourself well acquainted with that specific phenomenon sooner than you might think." You say.
You gotta say you're pretty proud of your ability to interact positively with Loki. When he first started living here you never would've guessed you'd be watching movies and having silly conversations like this. He's always been rather closed off from the team but perhaps that's something you can actually work around.
*~*~*
"Loki!" You call when you catch him in the hall.
"What?" He rolls his eyes.
"Are you busy?" You ask.
"Why?" His eyes narrow suspiciously.
"Well I was meant to go to the aquarium with Thor today-"
"Thor is on Asgard." Loki says.
"Yes exactly." You nod. You weren't meant to do anything with Thor today, but it seems the key to the trickster god is minor deceptions.
"Did he forget you were going to this 'aquarium' today?"
"It would appear so. Which- I'm not mad about really but these tickets did cost money and I can't exchange them for another date so I was hoping you'd be able to replace him that way the ticket doesn't go to waste." You explain to him.
"You don't have anyone else you could ask?" He huffs.
"Not on such short notice." You shake your head.
"How short is short notice?"
"We need to be there in forty minutes."
"Oh you have got to be kidding me." Loki scoffs.
"If you come with me, when we get back I'll bake you a batch of cookies." You offer. It seems to be the easiest way to get him to do things. You watch Loki contemplate for a moment before he caves to his inner discussion although you're not sure there was much of a debate once you offered baked goods.
"Very well, I'll go so you don't waste your money, but you can't keep bringing your nonsense to me in exchange for cookies." He says.
"Of course not!" You smile knowing damn well you will be doing it again if you see fit. Loki will never admit to enjoying your company or wanting you to make him cookies, but considering he always accepts your offers and never truly complains when you're together, you know the irritation is only a front. "We'll leave in 15 minutes 'kay?"
"Very well." He says. You head back to your room to get yourself together and 15 minutes later you meet Loki by the kitchen.
"Ready Lo?" You ask.
"Yes let's get on with it." He says. You loop your arm through his as you leave the tower and you're surprised he doesn't protest the contact, but you won't bring it up. At the aquarium, you excitedly talk about all your favorite exhibits as you walk from section to section. "So what was the plan exactly?" Loki asks.
"What?"
"With Thor, why were you bringing him here in the first place?"
"Oh! Well because there's a lot he still wants to learn about Earth so I've been trying to take him places where he can learn a number of things at the same time." You shrug.
"And how is that going?"
"We've done the zoo and a couple of museums already so I'd say not bad. Oh, we're by the jellyfish, you should see the touch tank!" You say.
"The what now?" Loki frowns. You grab his hand and lead him to the shallow tank of water off to one side.
"This is a touch tank. These are jellyfish, they're like 95% water and don't have brains, some of them are dangerous, but these ones are pretty harmless and you can touch them! Only on the tops of their heads though. Like this." You lift his hand up and push down all but two of his fingers and then slowly, you guide his hand into the water. "You have to be gentle." You tell him softly as you let his fingers touch the top of a moon jelly in the pool. You turn to Loki with a small smile only to find him already looking at you very intensely.
"I'm quite gentle when I want to be." He says quietly. You step back a bit and clear your throat, dipping your own fingers in to touch a jellyfish for yourself.
"Well I hope you want to be gentle with the moon jellies. This is one of my favorite things here." You tell him.
"So anyone can just walk up and pet the jellyfish?"
"Yeah! Isn't it cool?"
"Sure." He nods.
"Wait till you see some of the other Jellyfish they've got here! They're insane!" You take his hand again and walk further into the jellyfish exhibit.
"They have more open tanks of creatures?"
"Oh- no all the other Jellyfish are in closed tanks." You giggle.
"Just as well, you said some are dangerous, no?"
"Well, yes, but aren't they just so beautiful?" You say looking at one of the tanks.
"Breathtaking." Loki says before he can help himself. He clears his throat, lucky you're so captivated with the floating water creatures that you don't even notice his eyes on you as opposed to the exhibits.
"Thank you for coming with me." You tell him.
"You bribed me."
"True- but you still could have said no. Especially since you're not even a fan of our, how do you say it? 'Mediocre Midgardian food'."
"Yes well, you pout when you're disappointed and it's incredibly displeasing to see. The whole tower suffers your moods. And while Midgardian food is mediocre yours is- the least. Plus I can rub this in Thor's face."
"I see you really weighed those pros and cons." You chuckle.
"I must. If I'm to disrupt my entire afternoon on such short notice." He shrugs. You roll your eyes and pull him through to the next exhibit but the smile on your face can't be hidden.
~*~*~
You hum to yourself as you enter the tower library.
"Good morning Loki." You say immediately spotting him on one of the lounge chairs. He's always in here, it's like his sanctuary and over the last few weeks you've found it easy to interact with him.
"It's 3pm y/n."
"It's morning somewhere Lo, time is arbitrary, don't be a grump." You shrug.
"What are you doing here anyway?" He rolls his eyes.
"Utilizing the insane collection of books we have considering there's only like 3 people living here that would ever pick up a book for from here."
"You've been coming here a lot lately."
"Why should you be the only one taking advantage of this big otherwise undisturbed room?"
"The best part of this room is that none of you come here."
"If you want to not run the risk of having to interact with anyone who lives here to might I suggest your room which has a lock on it." You smile brightly.
"Very funny." Loki scoffs.
"I thought so too!" You snap back. Loki gives you a dry look.
"Must you be so-"
"Charming? Witty? Adorable?"
"Not quite the adjectives I would've chosen." He says.
"Well next time finish your sentence." You wink at him.
"Are you trying to get under my skin?"
"Of course not! But it's pretty easy."
"Why must you bother me?" His eyes narrow.
"Maybe because you like talking to me more than you want to admit."
"And why would you think that?"
"Because you always do."
"Do what?"
"I'm sure you can figure that out." You say turning to leave the library.
"Do what y/n!?" He calls after you. "You didn't even get a book!" He shouts as the library doors close behind you. Loki frowns to himself for a moment and then decides to contact the only person he'd ever go to for advice on any subject. A looking glass spell slowly brings Frigga to life above his palm.
"Mother." He gets her attention.
"Loki?" Frigga picks up her looking glass with a smile. "Hello my darling boy. So lovely to hear from you. Thor tells me you're well."
"In the physical sense, yes." Loki nods.
"What troubles you my dear son?"
"I think Midgardian women might be more confusing than those on Asgard." Loki says.
"A woman? Do you feel for her?"
"Don't be ridiculous mother." Loki's words come out as a breathless chuckle.
"It is not ridiculous. She plagues your mind. Why, if you do not feel for her?"
"Truthfully I'm not sure." He frowns.
"Have you considered that you feel for her?"
"How would I know?"
"I believe the fact that you are asking may perhaps be a strong indicator already. This girl, do you see her often?"
"She lives here so yes." He nods.
"I mean intentionally darling." Frigga smiles.
"What?"
"Walking past her in the hallways is not quite what I'm referring to."
"Oh- well she's the least insufferable person here so- sometimes, yes. Though it's usually her bribing me to do things when her other plans fall through."
"What do you mean?"
"Well she invited me to this water creature house they call an aquarium a couple of weeks ago because Thor forgot he was meant to go with her."
"Are you sure Thor was meant to go with her?" She asks.
"I don't follow." Loki shakes his head.
"I wonder if this girl is playing tricks on my trickster." Frigga smiles knowingly.
"Do you overestimate her or underestimate me to believe I could be outsmarted by a mortal?"
"It is not a blow Loki, be calm my son. She plagues your mind when she is not there, she has made her way to a spot many people never have the pleasure of knowing within you. I believe she has stolen your heart and even you do not know it yet."
"What makes you think that?"
"In all your years Loki you have never once asked me about a girl. And this one seems to have you quite... wrapped."
"I resent that notion." He scoffs.
"What made you contact me?"
"Well she was-" Loki stops himself, his mother has already decided Loki is a goner, perhaps he shouldn't feed her any more information.
"She was with you Loki?"
"I spend a lot of time in the library. She came by and we had a short conversation that's all."
"What did she say?" Frigga asks.
"She thinks I like her more than I do. Or rather more than I will admit. I asked her why and she refused to answer."
"Well- what would lead her to believe that?"
"I have no idea." Loki scoffs.
"How is your relationship with her different than with the others?"
"I don't speak to the others. I only speak to her and Thor."
"Tell me about her."
"She is- happy, but not like Thor- his happiness is loud and aggressive she is- a calmer happiness. She seems to be crucial to the peace in this madhouse. Not for me, for everyone. She's also frustratingly smart, she has a comeback for everything and- it's nice to feel as though someone on this dreadful planet can match me- even if I find it vexing at times. Also she bakes- I don't quite enjoy Midgardian food but her treats are quite good though I refuse to tell her that-"
"I'm sure she knows." Frigga says with a soft smile.
"Why are you smiling like that."
"If you could see your face when you speak of this girl you would know like I know that your heart is no longer yours."
"My heart is very much still-"
"No darling. You may not realize but your mind has already given your heart to her. Follow your heart to her. Allow yourself to go there. It will do you good and you deserve it."
"Mother I cannot." He shakes his head.
"You can, and I suggest you do soon. If you do not tell her she has your heart you risk her unknowingly breaking it. Though I sense she is more aware than you may think. Certainly she's more aware than you are."
"You keep saying that-"
"There was no day planned with Thor. I would bet money she wanted to go with you, but you are a tricky thing. To catch fox you must think like one."
"What do I do mother? If you are right and this girl does have me, what do I do?" Loki asks.
"Be kind, be honest, be true. Don't wait too long." Frigga warns.
"Don't wait too long?" He frowns.
"Yes child, that woman will not wait forever for you to wake up."
"What if she is not waiting?"
"You misunderstand. I'm not saying she is waiting on you to come to your senses what I'm saying is that affections change one day she may not enjoy your time as she does now, someone serious may woo her and you miss your chance entirely, stars forbid it but something could happen to her or you. Do not get in your own way Loki, you have a tendency to do that."
"I do not get in my own way."
"Loki." Frigga says, leveling her son with an unimpressed look.
"I will consider your advice mother thank you." Loki cedes.
"Good. I will expect an update soon so be prepared for me to check in."
"Of course mother. Take care."
"You too my son." Frigga sets her looking glass down and Loki disconnects his end of the spell with a sigh. If Frigga is correct, Loki has much to consider, and rather quickly based on her warnings.
*~*~*
When the door to the library opens you don't bother looking up. The book you're reading is far too interesting to stop mid-page.
"What are you doing?" Loki jumps when he walks passed you. You look up momentarily, debating how badly you want to make a stupid joke.
"I'm practicing my backhand spring." You say flatly.
"You're sitting on the couch?"
"I'm also holding a book and yet you asked what I'm doing. I don't know what answer you expected honestly." You shrug.
"I just meant you're not usually sitting around in here."
"Is reading in the library that odd to you?" You chuckle.
"Well- no. I was just expecting the library to be empty." He says.
"Would you like me to leave?"
"Why would you offer to leave? You were here first."
"Yeah but I can read anywhere. Your hermit tendencies limit your spaces far more than mine."
"I am not a hermit." Loki rolls his eyes.
"Of course not." You hum.
"I'm not. I just have no desire to waste my time having unintelligent conversations with the uncultured morons that live here."
"Well don't let me bother you then."
"Not you, the others. And you can obviously stay."
"Why thank you for deeming me worthy enough to stay in your presence." You quip dramatically.
"It's not as if you care what I deem anyhow."
"True, that was sarcasm. Happy reading." You turn your attention back to your book and though Loki would like the conversation to continue he can't think of anything to say to justify pulling your focus from the book you're so clearly captivated by. You're in the library with your book for a few more hours and during that time Loki cannot help the way his eyes wander to you every so often, he doesn't even realize it's happening at first but once he does his mother's words that have been in his head for the past 2 weeks ring even louder.
~*~*~
"Y/n!" Wanda practically sings as she walks, no from the sound of it she's skipping, over to you at the kitchen island.
"Yes Wanda my dear?" You chuckle, setting your sandwich back on its plate.
"You know our coffee shop?"
"Around the block?"
"Yep!" She nods.
"What of it?"
"Well I heard through the grapevine that someone who works there has a crush on you."
"You heard- through the grapevine?" You quirk up an eyebrow at her.
"Cassie told me."
"How did you end up in that conversation?" You chuckle.
"Not the point, we should go down there!" She suggests excitedly.
"I'm eating a sandwich-"
"Not right now, tomorrow morning."
"You wanna tell me- who this mystery crush is? Because I'm not going anywhere if you don't tell me." You say biting your sandwich.
"It's Elliot."
"Oh he's cute-"
"Wanda." Vision calls as the main elevator arrives.
"Soooo we'll game plan when I get back?" She asks walking backwards.
"Fine." You shake your head and chuckle as she disappears in the elevator with Vision. You take a bite of your sandwich, presumably alone again, only to hear a throat clearing from behind you. You look over your shoulder to find Loki the source of the sound.
"Oh hi Loki." You say covering your mouth.
"Hello." He mutters.
"What brings you out of hiding today?"
"I'm not a hibernating bear you know."
"Of course not." You hum. Loki opens the fridge to grab something to drink, although it's mostly just so he can convince himself to bite the bullet and confess to you before this 'Elliot' from the coffee shop has an opportunity to turn your head like his mother warned him of.
"Do you have a moment? I know you're- eating but I'd like to talk- about something." He says awkwardly.
"Sure. I can use multiple senses at once. What's up?" You ask taking another bite of your sandwich. Loki opens his mouth a couple of times before he frowns. "Is something wrong Loki?"
"I don't know." He says, brows furrowed as he looks at the floor.
"You don't know if something's wrong? Are you dizzy? Dehydrated? Feverish? Do you need to sit down?" You sit up, concerned.
"No, I don't."
"You sure? You look kind of- constipated. I think you should sit down."
"I don't want to y/n." He grits out.
"Okay, calm down no need to get angry with me for caring."
"You said I look constipated!"
"Well you do! But only a little bit!"
"This is not going at all how I planned it?"
"What are you on about Loki?" You frown.
"Nothing it was just way easier to do this in my head."
"Easier to do what?"
"Never mind. Enjoy your lunch." Loki pivots and you almost knock over your barstool trying to stop him from leaving the kitchen.
"Not so fast god of mischief tell me what it is you're so panicked about."
"It's nothing y/n." He rolls his eyes.
"Nonsense. If it were nothing you wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it in the first place." You tell him.
"Yes, I over reacted, which is what I just realized and why I'm no longer interested in having this conversation." He says completely avoiding your gaze.
"Don't be a coward Loki." You snap.
"I beg your pardon?" His eyes widen.
"Don't be a coward. I've never known you to shy away from sharing your thoughts even when nobody asked don't tell me suddenly you're incapable of speaking your mind."
"I am far from incapable." He says.
"So spill it." You push.
"And if I don't?"
"Then you're not who I thought you were."
"Over a personal thought?" His eyebrow raises.
"It's the principle. What have you got to lose that makes you so fearful of your own voice?"
"Something I didn't even realize was important to me until recently." He says quietly.
"What's that?" You ask. Loki's eyes scan your face for a long moment, and if not for how close you are you'd swear he's holding his breath for how shallow it is.
"You." He whispers.
"I'm not going anywhere." You shake your head.
"I'm afraid you may take that back if you hear that which I refuse to say." He says.
"Is the reward worth the risk?" You ask.
"If I'm lucky."
"I'm disappointed that you see me as someone so easily run off Loki."
"That's not what this is." He shakes his head.
"No? It sounds like it."
"Do you see me as somebody that could be loved?"
"Of course I do. Thor loves you unconditionally. Your mother too from what I've heard."
"Do you see me as somebody that could be loved, by you?" This question is far more hesitant.
"Is that what you want?"
"In time, yes." He nods and a stray giggle escapes your lips.
"That's what you thought would drive me away?!" You shake your head. "Maybe you haven't noticed but I put quite a bit of effort into creating time to spend with you."
"Oh come on it's mostly coincidence, your friends canceling or Thor forgetting you had plans."
"You silly trickster. I chose to spend that time with you." You say.
"To be clear- does that mean you're as taken with me as I am with you?" Loki asks.
"You're taken with me?!" You blink at him in shock.
"Yes was I not clear about-"
"I'm joking Loki I just wanted to hear you say it directly." You smile.
"You vex me." He breathes out.
"And yet you like me anyway. Even more than I expected."
"Don't boast."
"How can I not?" You ask.
"I can think of a few ways to stop you."
"You can try Loki but I'm not so easily swayed." You taunt. Loki's hand comes up to your cheek and he kisses you. His lips are soft and he kisses you as if he's got all the time in the world. When Loki pulls away your eyes flutter open with surprise.
"How's that for sway?" He smirks.
"I'll admit that wasn't a terrible start." You breathe.
"Oh yeah?" Loki lifts you into his arms suddenly and you squeal in surprise as he carries you to his room. He lays you gently on his bed and kisses you again. "Not a terrible start is not enough." He hums trailing to your neck, peppering your throat with kisses and light nibbles. Loki pulls your shirt over your head. "Stars above you're beautiful." He mutters trailing his fingers delicately across your newly exposed skin.
"I'm not a flower you know." You giggle, the soft touches making you feel ticklish.
"What do you mean?" He frowns.
"Nothing bad. You're just being much more gentle than I'd have expected." You tell him caressing his face. He pauses for a moment as you trace his features.
"Do you remember what I said at the aquarium?"
"About the hammerhead shark reminding you of-"
"No about being gentle you silly girl." He says with a disbelieving chuckle.
"Oh! Yes that you can be when you want to be."
"Precisely."
"I didn't realize it applied elsewhere."
"Do you not like gentle?"
"Gentle is good." You shake your head. "Just unexpected." You smile. Loki returns your smile and leans down to press kisses down your abdomen. He pulls your shorts and panties off together, kissing your calf ones you're freed from the fabric. Loki's eyes are on you as his lips glide up your leg, opened mouthed kisses until he reaches your thigh where he bites at the skin, just enough for you to feel it. With one last kiss to your hip, Loki buries his face in your heat. You gasp at the first feel of his tongue against your center. His movements are unhurried as he watches your reactions to his mouth. When he finds the rhythm that you react the strongest to he sticks to it, enjoying the whimpers and moans he pulls from you and the way your body grinds against him.
"Oh god." You pant, one hand tangling in his hair. When you feel two of his fingers slowly glide into your entrance and curl upwards your eyes shoot open with a whine that makes Loki hum against you. You glance down at him, surprised to see his green eyes peering up at you with something akin to adoration shining in them and despite the pleasure building in your belly all you can think about for a brief moment is how... pretty he looks. Of course, that train of thought is lost when Loki wraps his lips around your clit, focusing his attention on the sensitive bundle of nerves. Between his tongue and his fingers you don't have a chance of staving off the orgasm that washes over you soon after. Loki works you through it, only pulling away when your breathing starts to steady.
"You are a vision in the heat of release you know." He says a hand on your chin to guide your attention.
"No, I did not know that." You smile reaching up to undress Loki. You pull his shirt over his head, littering his chest with kisses as you undo his pants but don't pull them down. You slip your hand into the waistband of his underwear stroking his hard hot dick.
"F-fucking hell you might be the death of me." Loki breathes out shuddering beneath your touch.
"I sure hope not. I quite like you alive you know." You joke with a giggle. Loki grabs your wrist and shakily pulls your hand from him.
"Right, if this goes on I'll embarrass myself." He says with a slight chuckle shifting to pull his pants down enough to free himself. He lines himself with your entrance and slowly works himself passed your walls with short rolling thrusts, deeper each time.
"That's nothing to be embarrassed about you know Loki." You tell him, admittedly a bit winded as he fills you.
"Maybe not, but I'll admit it's not ideal for our first time together." He groans as he bottoms out.
"Don't get caught up in expectations Loki." You tell him.
"Only my own darling." He says. Loki holds still for a few moments, allowing you to adjust to his size, only moving when you begin to grind against him.
"Move, Loki, please." You groan. Loki lets out a breath as he starts a steady rhythm. He's immediately a string of groans and curses in your ear as he fucks you, his sounds mingling with yours beautifully.
"Gods you feel even better than I could've imagined." He pants out between thrusts.
"Don't stop baby. God you feel so good." You moan, grinding up against his hips to meet his movements. Loki reaches between your bodies and his fingers find your clit, rubbing tight circles against the bud that turn your quiet moans to loud whines.
"Come on darling, I want to feel you cum on my dick. Please y/n- let go for me." Loki coaxes, kissing at your throat again and it doesn't take long for your body to tense with the feeling of another orgasm. Loki groans deeply as your walls tighten around him from your release.
"Did you like that Loki? Feeling my pussy clench from cumming for you? You're close aren't you? Come on baby, cum for me."
Loki's thrusts speed up a bit, then falter, and stall altogether moments later as you feel the heat of his release inside you. Loki kisses your shoulder gently as he comes down from his orgasm, your fingers stroking his hair a comfort he wouldn't have thought he'd enjoy.
"You know- I know you were trying to get me to stop boasting but if boasting always ends with us like this I'm inclined to do it more often." You say after a few moments of silence and Loki chuckles against your neck.
"Boasting is not a prerequisite my darling." He says sitting up. Loki conjures a damp cloth and gently dabs first your face, then your neck, and carefully between your legs before helping you into his shirt.
"Well what is?" You ask.
"There isn't one you tricky girl." He chuckles pulling you into his chest.
"How am I the tricky one here?"
"You caught the fox, I think that's worth some tricky points."
"What fox? Are you the fox?"
"Mhm." He nods.
"Well- then that's by far the best thing I've ever caught." You smile up at him.
"The fox isn't complaining either." He hums and you cuddle closer to him. This hadn't exactly been your original gameplan with Loki but this is way better than any outcome you could've expected.

kids ask dad!bonedo help with homework :P
dad!boynextdoor when their kids ask for homework help!
omgomgomg my first req omgomg tysm for sending this in <3 AND AAAAH anon i love this idea omg okay! let's get into this... lowercase intended, cuss words (i think?), cuteness! pls ignore any spelling mistakes/grammatical errors! hope u enjoy <3
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
jaehyun, the tries to help but can't dad!
when the words dad, help, and homework came out of his son's mouth his first instinct was to agree right away!
"OF COURSE I'LL HELP YOU!!!" - "when i was your age i was top of the class in math" - "division? pfffttt easy peasy"
but then his kid excitedly brings over his workbook, placing it on the table and pointing out all the word problems his teacher told him to do.
"okay so..." jaehyun begins, sitting very closely beside his child. "if jamie had twenty three apples and sandy had twenty seven...how would they equally have enough to give to izzie using the...the power of friendship????"
he swears he understands it, he swears he knows EXACTLY what the word problems mean. he goes over it again and again and it's starting to sound a bit like he has no clue what he's doing!!
"dad...if you don't know how to do it that's okay" - "no, NO!! i know this, trust me"
it goes on for another hour and they still haven't gotten past the first question. all of a sudden, like an angel sent by the unknown entity above, jaehyun's wife enters the room.
"homework? ooh let me see..."
she takes one look at the problem and then proceeds to look at jaehyun with eyes full of disbelief. so as to say "are you serious??"
"look, all you need to do here is add how many sandy has with how many jamie has right...and then divide it by three so they all have equal amounts to share with izzie!"
myung jaehyun grins, watching with the biggest heart eyes as the woman he married continued to help their son with his silly math homework.
"thank god i married a genius" he says, wrapping his arms around her waist later that night. "babe, it doesn't take a genius to do elementary school division"
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
riwoo, the teasing but helpful dad!
i think riwoo would be the jokester kind of a dad. like he will take up every opportunity to crack dad jokes and tease his kids.
"dad, i need your help with homework" - "why do you need my help? don't they teach you kids in school? isn't that the whole point of school?" and his daughter just looks at him like -_- while he laughs his ass off at his own jokes.
"will you help me or not, dad?" and riwoo just sighs and nods, telling her to show him what homework it was.
this could go one of two ways. one, it was math or science and he'll sit with her for a few hours on the dining table, slowly going through each question one by one. or two, which is what's happening in this case, and the homework was for the kid's PE class...
prayers for riwoo's daughter, it's about to be a long night.
"and up, two, three, four and- stop, stop, stop" riwoo says as he stopped recording for the fifth time. "what is it now, dad?" she says out of breath. "are you really gonna submit a video of yourself doing jumping jacks looking like those flailing mascots at the gas station?!" the poor kid's head is about to explode and she starts regretting ever asking her dad for help.
"i do NOT look like a flailing mascot! and can't we just hurry up and finish this? PLEASE DAD"
riwoo laughs out loud, getting a kick out of teasing his offspring.
"hehe, i'm just joking with you, love. i'll record it for real now"
but that doesn't mean he'll stop the teasing, he'll continue to make fun of her jumping jacks for the rest of her life!!!!!
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
sungho, the actually teaches his kid how to do the work dad!
sungho is so excited when his son asks him for help! he's like "omg i've been waiting for this day ever since i became a father TT"
i feel like he's the type of person who actually wants to help the kid understand his work and not just doing it for him, yk?
"okay so, i'll show you the first problem and then we'll try to figure it out the next one together, yeah?"
HE'S SO SWEET TT if his son messes up he'll reassure him that it's okay to make mistakes and it's all part of the learning process.
"see, and then you multiply the mass and the acceleration here...so if the mass of an object is 10.2kg and it's accelerating at 2.5m/s squared..." he trails off, eyes moving from the word problem and over to his child sitting beside him.
"then the force is...twenty-five...point...five...?" his kid says in an unsure tone, and sungho cracks into the biggest smile ever. "yes! and the unit is..." now he had gained some confidence, "newtons! 25.5 newtons!"
sungho cheers when he answers correctly, clapping his hands together and patting his son on his back softly as he writes down the answer onto the worksheet.
he sits with him the whole rest of the time he does homework, even if it's clear he already understands it well enough to do it on his own!
such a sweet dad TT he also gets really happy when his child comes home the next day from school and tells him that he got all the answers right on yesterday's homework.
"thanks for the help, dad" - "anytime, kiddo"
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
taesan, the accidentally does the work for them dad!
"daddy i need help with this project for art"
at first it seems like he does not want anything to do with his daughter's project. taesan agrees to help anyways though (it's not like he'd ever say no to his beloved daughter...girl dad! taesan FOR LIFE), sitting across from her on the floor of their living room with all her supplies laid out.
"so what do you want me to do again?" he asks, and the kid just rolls her eyes. "my teacher gave me these instructions on how to do the paper mache, i just need you here in case my hands get dirty and i need you to pass me things"
taesan nods his head slowly, easy peasy, all he has to do is sit and watch tv while passing things to his daughter...simple.
not.
he can't help but wince as he watches his own child messily slap wet paper onto the lame excuse for a sculpture she had decided to make. it annoys the perfectionist inside of him and he's just itching to take over.
"that's not...i don't think you- you know what, darling? just go wash your hands let me do it"
"okay, daddy" she said with a big smile, beginning to get up from the floor to rinse her hands off in the sink. unbeknownst to her father however, this was his daughter's menacing plan all along. knowing her dad was a bit of a control freak, she purposely did the project badly so he'd take over <3
guess who she got the menace genes from lol
"i got an A on the paper mache sculpture i made!" - "you mean the paper mache sculpture that i! your dad! me! made"
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
leehan, the there for moral support dad!
to be honest, at first he has no clue what the hell he's doing from the very moment he agreed to sit beside his daughter to do her homework.
but unlike jaehyun, he doesn't even try to hide it.
"sweetheart, i'm going to be so real i have no clue what any of this means" and she just laughs at him, "yeah i kind of got that already, dad. can you just sit here with me in case?"
"alright, i'm gonna get some snacks first, want any?"
he spends the whole time making sure his daughter isn't stressing over the assignment. he tells her to ask him about anything anyways, even if it were things he didn't understand.
"oh wait i actually do know about that one!" and he explains it to her the best that he can whenever he can.
but then when the subject is biology- or more specifically, marine biology, he gets super excited to tell her everything he knows!
he gets even more excited when she already knows all the facts too, happy that his offspring shared the same interest as him. he's literally all smiles, going back and forth with his daughter about all kinds of sea-life ecosystems and fish facts.
it doesn't even end after the assignment is completed! leehan's wife has to sit and listen to both her husband and their daughter go on and on and on about it for the whole of dinner time too!
"look dad! i got extra credit for my bio essay! the thing about the habitats that you added gave me an extra few points"
when he hears that his help turned out successful he giggles like a little girl.
"thanks so much, dad. you're the best!" she says, giving her dad a loving hug. "you're welcome, sweetheart- and i'm proud of you! i say we go to the aquarium and celebrate"
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖
woonhak, the go ask your mom for help dad!
i see woonhak as someone who cannot be assed to do anything related to school from the moment he graduated.
"daddy, can you help me?" when his 5 year old son came up to him like this after school, his first thought was to hand the favour off to someone else.
and who else if not his beautiful, amazing, wonderful wife?
"ah, i'm afraid i can't help you with that, kid. go ask your mommy for help, yeah?"
he thinks it's all good after that, figuring his son would go look for his mother and leave his dad alone <3
that is...until the boy starts sobbing violently in front of him. woonhak's eyes go wide and he has no clue what to do.
"woah, hey- don't cry, what's wrong?" he bends down to lift the boy up onto his lap. "mommy isn't home, i need to do this homework now! but i don't get it!" he cries and cries, all woonhak can do is pat his son's back and calm him down.
"okay, okay, i'll help you if you stop crying, okay?"
and so, kim woonhak and his son sit together on the dining table. he tries his very best to bring back everything he learnt when he was in school still, jogging up his memory for the sake of his little boy. luckily, 1st grade geometry was the one thing he still remembered clearly how to do.
"see look, now if all four sides are equal...then..." - "a triangle!" - "well no...but close! it's a...squa..squa-" - "square!" - "yes! good"
his wife comes home later that evening. "hey sweetie, have you done all your homework?" their son nods excitedly, "mhm!" - "you did it all by yourself?" she asks, a little bit shocked. "nope! daddy helped me!"
she turns to look at the man laying down on the living room couch, stuffing chips in his mouth as he watched some show on the tv.
"okay sweetie, i think i might need to take a look at that homework before you submit it tomorrow..."
⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖

The Watchers court p2
BigB: Defendant, who will be your defence?
Punz: I will.
Grian: Defendant, do you accept...
Punz: Punz.
Grian: Punz as your defence.
Dream: I do.
Pearl: Then so it will be, defence do you have an opening statement?
Punz: I do. May I?
BigB: Go ahead.
Punz: Thank you. I'm going to be quick, this court is all a sham based on the whining of a delinquent desperate for attention.
Tommy: Oh I'll show you delinquent you bitch! Come here you-
Grian: Order! Order in the court!
Tommy: But-
Grian: 👁️👁️👁️ORDER👁️👁️👁️
Tommy: ...
Punz: ...
Grian: My apologies, go on.
Punz: Y-yes, the defendant just did his job as an admin and the prosecution was just punished for breaking the server rules.
Pearl: ... Is that all?
Punz: ... Yes?
BigB: Ok then, It's time to bring the first witness to the stand.
*in the jury*
E1!Jimmy: Oh wow, you look so cool!
Kristin: Why, thank you dear.
Knight!Grian: Pay attention people. This is important.
Martyn: Bring the first witness.
Tommy: Wait...
Ranboo: U-uh... hi?
Tommy: Boob boy!?
Ranboo: Hi Tommy!
Tubbo: You're alive?
Tommy: How is he alive?
Pearl: Magic.
Grian: We needed him for the court so we took him.
Tommy: You can do that!?!?
BigB: Ehm ...can we go on?
Pearl: Right. Can you state your name, pronoums and occupation for the court mate.
Ranboo: Right! U-uh... Ranboo and uh... what are pronoums.
Pearl: How should we refer to you?
Ranboo: ... Ranboo?
Tubbo: Psttt, they mean if you use he/she/they or something else.
Ranboo: Oooh! Phil was trying to teach it to me! Uh, He/They ... I think?
Jimmy: Writing that down!
Grian: And occupation?
Ranboo: I don't really- uh... I worked at the burger stand for a while? I guess?
Grian: That works. Now you can begin with the examination.
Punz: Objection your honors, this isn't a valid witness.
BigB: Why?
Punz: Ranboo here is famously known to have a terrible memory.
Pearl: Is this true?
Ranboo: Y-yes m'am... but I... I have my memory book with me!
*He holds up a leather book*
Grian: I think it might still be helpful to hear from this witness, objection denied.
Tommy: Hello boob boy.
Ranboo: It's not... *sigh* nevermind.
Tubbo: Sooo... What can you tell the court about Dream?
Ranboo: He's evil! H-he destroyed the community house and put Tommy in exile.
Tommy: Damn right he is!
Ranboo: And he stole the disks right? I don't really remember why they are important but I know they are!
Grian: Anything else.
Ranboo: He ... Killed Tommy, I think I remember it! In prison!
Tubbo: And the book, you haven't made additions to it recently have you?
Ranboo: No! I... I didn't really use it after I died.
Grian: Can we take a look at this book of yours?
Ranboo: O-oh sure!
Pearl: Well... this is actually pretty small. How do you keep all your menories here?
Ranboo: I don't, I had another book before this but it got lost.
Pearl: Oh, that sucks... we'll copy it and put it in the evidence if you consent.
Ranboo: I ...sure?
BigB: Taurtis? Could you bring the book to be copied?
Taurtis: On it!
Grian: Now, is that all you have to say about Dream?
Ranboo: Y-yeah.
Grian: Defence, you can begin your cross examination now.
*in the jury*
Knight!Grian: Not exactly a strong start for the prosecution, all of these acts are hardly illegal.
Voice of The Star: Maybe so, but based on the testimony we may still look at a case of abuse of admin powers.
Kristin: Indeed, and we still have more witnesses after this one.
Punz: Ranboo, you have stated that Dream is evil, why?
Ranboo: What? I-I just said he destroyed the community house... And exiled Tommy.
Punz: Well that's untrue.
Ranboo: Uh?
Punz: Dream did not exile Tommy, that was Tubbo.
Ranboo: W-well, yeah... but Dream was behind it!
Punz: As the one who caught Tommy committing arson and the one who put him on trial, yes. Are either of these crimes, your honurs?
Pearl: ...no?
Punz: Exactly. As for the community house, there is no proof he was the culprit.
Tommy: Bullshit! He admitted it!
Grian: Order! ... Punz, is this true? Did ge admit it?
Punz: ...
Grian: Well?
Punz: He did. However, it was at axe point under threat of violence, his confession is therefore invalid as it was coerced out of him.
Ranboo: W-what about the disks?
Punz: Ah yes, did you forget that Tommy gave those disks over willingly as part of a trade?
Ranboo: I-
Punz: Cleary the witness doesn't know what he's talking about-
Tubbo: Objection!
Grian: ... To what?
Tubbo: All of it!
Jimmy: ...pstt...Can he do that?
Pearl: I don't know, but it sounds interesting.
BigB: Uh...go ahead.
Tubbo: Thank you bossman! First of all, Dream threatened L'Manberg and me into exiling Tommy. He promised the death of every citizien should we not exile Tommy, if his admission is invalid then so was the exile which he should have known as an admin!
Grian: It's true, when I was admin of Evo I had to learn a lot of laws so yes, he should have known.
Tubbo: More then that, he personally curated Tommy's exile! Nowhere in my decision did I ever say that Dream should have done anything more then bringing Tommy outside the country which means all actions Dream took during exile were done illegally!
Ranboo: wow...
Tommy: ... Holy shit.
Tubbo: Second of all, the disks were first stolen by Dream as punishment for Tommy not listening to Dream, what do the admin laws say about stealing players valuable as punishment?
Grian: ... Taurtis, please bring a copy of the admin codex?
Taurtis: Here you go G!
*Grian reads a bit*
Grian: It seems that you shouldn't have had the authority to do so ... however this is a minor offence...
Punz: Ah!
Grian: However you have hidden a lot of information, I suggest you do not do so again.
Pearl: You cunt.
*a lady in the back shouts*
Ianite: That's my son! Wooo!
Tubbo: Mom? Why are you here???
Ianite: To cheer you on! You're doing so good!
Tubbo: Mom...
Pearl: Lady Ianite???
Ianite: Oh greetings saintess.
Grian: Right, Ranboo you may leave the stand.
Ranboo: Y-yes sir!
Martyn: Alright, now there is going to be a 20 minute break before we go to the next witnesses.

[SDL] To Be Needed
Tumblr media
[Next]
We see Jack at Kasutoru's, sitting down on the floor next to a table, calmly sipping some tea. He hears a knock at the entrance.
Kuraima: "M-mister Jack? A-are you in here?"
Jack: "…?"
Jack: "Kuraima…? What brings you to-"
Kuraima is stares up at him sheepishly and reveals his arm covered in bloody bandages.
Jack: "...Ah…."
-----------------------------------------
Inside, Jack inspects and unravels the bandages on Kuraima's arm.
Jack: "Did you… dress these yourself…? It's surprisingly… well done…."
Kuraima: "Yes! Thank you! I didn't want to bother anyone, and since this job comes with a lot injuries, I've learned how to take care of- Augh!!"
Kuraima winces as Jack applies the medicine on his arm.
Jack: "Sorry…I should have said something…" Kuraima: "It's okay… It j-just surprised me."
Jack grimaces as he looks at the wound.
Jack: "This… looks pretty bad… Does Clarice… know you're here…?" Kuraima: "No… I didn't want to worry her."
He pauses.
Kuraima: "P-Please don't tell her I came here?" Jack: "Kuraima…. You know I will…"
Kuraima frowns as Jack stands up to walk over to his medicine cabinet.
Jack: "You shouldn't move too much… for the next 2-3 weeks. No strenuous activities…. No fighting."
Kuraima: "!"
Jack: "I want you to rest… and focus on recovering. I know… you're a light sleeper… So I'll give you something… to aid that."
Kuraima: "But... what if Clarice needs me? If she's going someplace dangerous, I have to be there to protect her!"
Jack: "Then Clarice will just have to wait… on going anyplace dangerous… now won't she?"
Kuraima fidgets nervously. Kuraima: "She shouldn't have to wait because of me…"
Jack turns to face him.
Jack: "Kuraima… This is exactly why… I tell her about your injuries." "She's a smart girl… But she's not a mind-reader. It doesn't matter… how good you are at strategizing.. if you don't know… everything you need... to plan correctly…."
Kuraima looks away.
Kuraima: "I just don't think she should have to limit herself for my sake. My job is to keep her safe. What use am I to her if I can't even do that?"
Jack huffs. Jack: ("It's so difficult to get through to this boy…")
Jack: "...Alright, then. Say we don't tell her... and you ended up needing to fight for your lives."
Jack taps Kuraima's infected arm.
"I can tell you with certainty… that if you tried to take care of this by yourself... and left it alone for another week… you would've lost your arm."
Kuraima: "…!!"
Jack: "Had you gone to battle... your wounds not fully healed..." "Under those circumstances… What do you think could happen…?"
Kuraima: "……"
Jack: "All I'm saying is… if it isn't dire… wouldn't you agree that it'd be smarter… to wait until you've recovered?"
Kuraima stays silent.
Jack: "She needs you, Kuraima… And being needed… means sometimes… you must let others to take care of you… so that you can properly take care of them." Jack: "Do you understand?"
Kuraima: "….." Kuraima: "I just…" Kuraima: "I just want to be useful to her…"
Jack: "I know." Jack: "Just remember… Even if she doesn't show it well… she cares about you. You'll always be worth something to her… if not as a bodyguard… then as a dear friend."
Kuraima looks up, slightly abashed.

dear lord, okie.
rewatched both eps out so far, like just to have everything fresh in mind, and i got two things to share. first one is more music analysis from a music enthusiast who might or might not read a lot between lines, and second, a Thought i had that... well, maybe will be relevant, maybe not
so... the music,
if we take in the fact that ivory has been working on this project for at least 2 years and maybe some, and that instead of using music done by others she is doing these herself... well, wp!ivory Is the quiet type, definitely a nervous type too as it shows with her speech going a little out of her control when shes anxious, and the story itself is quiet in many aspects, including the hemlocke family trying to keep the press silent about whitepine's tragedy
but what it isn't quiet is the music
and i cant really explain what i mean unless you see what i'm talking about, so bear with me
starting with the end song of ep 2, larch. like... end songs for the episode to me now are like the silent moments we are given but the inverse. moments that tell us to listen, so that we may know more about the things unsaid, and this song... this song specifically speaks to me of something about tension. a soft kind of tension, one barely building up, a string that is slowly being pulled... because so far this is not really—or at least fully—a murder mystery, because the focus of the narrative is not yet of whoever killed mysti, of finding out who did it
is about grief, and how things just... keep moving, maybe too fast. there hasnt even been a Funeral, the servants were barely given a single day to rest, and her place as a personal maid has been filled in already with ivory. things are moving on, even if an investigation is already going on the back now
which leads me to wych elm. that is Exactly what im talking about here
the music starting sober, slow, then going into a crescendo and for a moment i thought i was maybe reading too much into it, but when i saw even the comments under the video of the song were talking about how this song sounded like grief and overstimulation...
in the scene this song plays, the camera is first on ivory, then a very fast paced cooking scene, but then starts jumping all over the manor. closed doors, parts of the outside, maids and butlers making sure everything is in shape and clean like it has always been. things Keep Happening, two days pass like a flash, the sense of normalcy tinted by how people still feeling the injury of the lost, but the world keeps moving. the signing in the song almost feels like a quiet cry. one you have to just let yourself be even for a moment, because the next you need to go back to work. the world keeps turning and is not going to wait for you and let you grieve. and then the song cuts the moment we are back with the hemlocke.
now the last new song, lacebark pine, at the start of the episode after the interrogations...
besides the sad tone, call me insane, but to me it feels like... longing,
and with how ivory just stares at the forest, where is said many "have gone missing", and how she Immediately goes there the moment no one is looking, even when told not to. how she says she was found in the woods,
this goes well with the last thought i had actually, that i've already been seeing people on youtube making videos of how they "solved" the murder of mysti
and i say to them. maybe you're focusing in the wrong things right now, or maybe, dare i say, you're falling for the distraction of the magician while she hides your card. because if you're focused enough on one thing, maybe something else might slip right behind you without anyone noticing
there's many odd things going on with the whitepine manor, it's history, the people in it, including the servants, the surroundings and ivory. the murder happening there might just be the last drop to finally set things into motion.
tho of course, i'll wait until at least a good 5 eps are out to start trying to see where this is going better, because again, ivory is making a wonderful job setting the tone of whitepine so far, but she herself did say she wanted to take this story slow instead of a more fast paced narrative like how her past videos used to be. so meanwhile, let's just set the table and get ready to eat
let her cook <3

A House
Even in a place where you can do your private activities in peace it is not safe if the people who live there are enemies among them. In one home lived a "happy" family made up of the mother, father and… 4 brothers, exactly, a total nightmare especially if you are the youngest of them all:
Thomas: The oldest brother, he wears a red t-shirt with tight shorts almost all the time, he has a relaxed attitude with his family and nervous with other people, his hair is brown and he has a bit of a chin, he is the tallest among the 4.
Blake: The second brother, he is the toughest of them all, he always wanders around the house shirtless showing off his strong pectorals worthy of a gymbro, his sweaty smell floods the house and he is the least shy of them all when it comes to "basic needs".
Tony: The third brother, the most behaved of them all, always obedient to what his parents or Thomas tell him, he gets along somewhat badly with Blake thanks to their clashing personalities, however, they get to enjoy each other's company in different activities.
Alain: The fourth brother and the youngest, his personality is a combination of Blake's rebelliousness and cunning with Tony's shyness, he does not like to obey his other brothers despite being older and the orders of his parents: "Thomas is in charge", it is not that he does not like to listen, but he hates his brothers, they are cruel to him because he is the youngest of all, the most defenseless.
Life at home was hell for Alain, he heard several insults from his siblings, teasing and pranks, many times locking him in a basement just for fun, but his favorite activity is to take Alain's lunch, usually his mother would make desserts for the siblings and when she wasn't looking, they would take Alain's part and eat it threatening him that he was a little girl who can't take any jokes, this stopped Alain from expressing this situation to his parents because according to him: "I am not a whiny little girl".
One day like any other, Alain suffered from another cruel joke that included water balloons, his siblings mocked him again while with fury Alain went up to the second floor of the house where the bathroom was located, closed the door and began to dry his face with a white towel.
"Why won't they leave me alone?"
"I wish I could get revenge."
Suddenly his father Todd who was a man in his 40's, wearing glasses, dressed in a white t-shirt and was standing with a towel covering his hips as he enters the bathroom:
Todd: "Whoops, I didn't know it was occupied."
Alain: "I'm just drying my face dad, besides, don't you have your own bathroom?"
Todd: "I just came to take one thing out of here, you go on…wait why are you wet?"
Alain didn't want to answer that question, luckily a strange sound interrupted them both: *PPPFFT*. A wet fart appeared in the bathroom:
Alain: "Oh come on dad!"
Todd: "Oopsssss it slipped out son, sorry hahahahaha…"
Alain: "The smell isn't even normal!"
Todd: "Sorry, but recently I've been having problems with my own plumbing, I couldn't get all the crap out of me, I was constipated so I bought a laxative and it's taking effect. I only came here because when I finished my business, well, let's just say I didn't quite calculate how much toilet paper I would need, so I came here to borrow some." Alain: "I mean, your ass wrapped in a towel isn't… clean?"
Todd: "Yeah, but it's going to get even dirtier in a few minutes anyway, that fart was just a warning."
Alain: "DAAAAAAAAD!"
Todd: "Alright, I'll leave you alone."
Todd walked out of the bathroom closing the door leaving Alain in privacy again, "That really was embarrassing…wait a minute…that's it!" a bright idea crossed Alain's mind, "How about now they are the ones who will have an embarrassing moment…when they have diarrhea outside the house!"
Discreetly Todd walked into his parents' room and noticed two things: the horrible smell and the miralax laxative on the nightstand, he quietly picked it up and took it from there ready to begin his plan: "Intoxicate my siblings will be easy, they take all my food, I just have to find a way to make them Leave the house… right! They each have things to do out of here just for this day, so I have to take advantage of the situation!"
Alain arrived in the kitchen where with his skills he cooked one of the few desserts he knew how to make thanks to his mother: Brownies. After an hour and a half, they were finally ready, they looked great and smelled good, they were definitely not going to resist.
He walked around the house with the plate full of 9 brownies, when he got to the second floor he is seen by Tony while he was in his room, he approached him and said:
Tony: "Where did you get those, little guy?"
Alain: "Mom baked them for me and my friends coming over later."
Tony: "Isn't mommy supposed to have gone shopping?"
Alain: "Yes…b-but she left them baking and ordered me to take them out."
Blake appears on the scene:
Blake: "Do I smell chocolate? Give me some, little guy"
Alain: "They're for my friends!"
Blake: "I wasn't asking you!"
Both brothers began to struggle, Tony catching the falling brownies while Blake tried to pry the desserts out of Alain's hands, while Alain pretended that he really didn't want them taken away. With one more stretch of strength, Blake emerged with the victory by retrieving a plate of 6 brownies while Tony held 3 with his hands.
Alain: "Give them back to me."
Blake: "Or what, you're going to cry?"
Thomas appears annoyed in the hallway:
Thomas: "Stop yelling! You won't let me study in peace you assholes!"
Tony: "Excuse Alain, he's crying because Blake is bothering him."
Alain: "I'm not crying!"
Thomas: "Oh, and those goodies you got Blake?"
Blake: "Mom made them for the little girl, she wouldn't give them to me so I'm going to keep them to teach her a lesson about sharing."
Thomas: "Obviously that lesson involves me, give me some bro". Being 9, Blake hands out 3 to each brother, he starts eating and the taste is exceptional, albeit a little strange to the taste of mom's brownies, but they are still brownies, who cares if they have laxative in the recipe, right? He was followed by Thomas and Tony who more slowly enjoyed every bite of the dessert until in the blink of an eye they had finished it all.
Tony: "You really showed off with this treat bro."
Blake: "You know how I am, always so charitable to the poor needy souls."
Tony: "That's weird, the only one who looks like a shirtless bum here is you."
Blake: "Oops how dapper sir ("I need to scent the bathroom after I leave")"
Thomas: "Stop arguing, and let's thank the little girl scout for those delicious Brownies."
The three brothers in tandem thanked, "Thank you so much Alain!", Alain on the outside was frustrated and in real anger due to the insults and sarcasm, but inside his mind he thought, "Thank you to you"
Each brother after an hour left the home to go about their own business:
Thomas:
He arrived at the university in a bus, he had to take an important exam which he had been preparing for all week, it was difficult but not enough to overshadow his relaxed attitude. He set foot on campus and the first gurgles began:
He put a hand to his stomach, "It's just gas," paused for a moment, bent his knees a little thanks to the pain and:
*PPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTT*
"Wow", a long fart filled the fresh air, luckily there was no one around and besides it was still outside the premises, the smell was free in nature while Thomas without taking importance to this first warning headed to his classroom.
"Lucky it's only one hour of exam and I'll be back home, I hate going to this place on Saturdays"
*GGGGRGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
The teacher arrived, a man in his 60's, skinny and with white hair, he was wearing a formal uniform and square glasses, with a serious look he gave the start of the exam.
"This is the A, This is The C, and this…this one will be random."
*GRRRRRRRRRRRR*
"Oghhh, again I have to…can I hold on!" *GRRRRRRRRRGRGGRGGGG* *GRRRRRRRRR*
"Nope, I can't, I'm just going to release some pressure by stretching and… *GRRRRRRRR* oh no…"
*pffffffftttt*
A silent fart came out of Thomas' sweaty ass, "I wish no one had heard it… or smelled it *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* oh… what's happening to me?"
*GGGGRGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR* *ppppffffffttttttttTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.*
The final crash of the buttocks caused by the pressurized air echoed and it was obvious that some people noticed the noise and the rotten smell, "Will it be last night's lasagna… or… those brownies?"
*GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
"Whatever it is it's wreaking havoc in my gut *pffffffttttttt* I need to get this over with."
Thomas with sweat on his forehead set out to solve the exam as fast as possible, every minute that passed was suffering, in his head there were two worries: failing the exam because of his urgency or making a fool of himself in front of his peers with disgusting, loud farts heralding an even worse climax.
*pffftttttt PPPFFFFFttttttttttttttt* *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*.
Time was ticking away, 20 minutes to go and Thomas had 80 questions solved, his stomach was making it known how upset he was as he released increasingly raucous air, small voices could be heard opining on the recent change of atmosphere in the room, the professor although looking just as annoyed as every day you could tell he also noticed the smell and possibly who was causing it, or at least that was what Thomas thought.
With 15 minutes left before the end, Thomas handed the test to a disgruntled teacher, then walking out of the room, closed the door and *PPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFTFTTTTTTTTTTTT* a huge fart echoed through the halls, Thomas knew he needed a bathroom, "No way I'm going to the bathrooms here, maybe someone will hear me…" and running he headed to the bus stop to return to the comfort of his home.
Blake:
Like his brother, Blake took the bus, not to go take some silly test, but to meet his friends at the usual gym. On the bus he started to feel a slight stomach ache: "Must be the protein shake I took" he lifted his body a little and *PPFFFFTTTTTT* a short but loud fart was present on the bus, many people frowned at such a display of impoliteness from our gymbro, while he didn't flinch at all, it was the smell of a real man.
10 minutes passed and he finally arrived at the gym, upon entering he saw his two teammates getting ready for arm day (yep, a Saturday).
Blake: "Hey don't start without me!"
"Then take this barbell and get started bro!"
Blake sat down and with one arm did several reps, sweat was in the air, *GGGRGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*, Blake stopped, set the barbell aside and held his stomach.
"What's wrong bro?"
Blake: "Something's wrong with my stomach, I think…"
*PPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTT*
A stormy fart came out of him, even the weight bed couldn't properly catch the smell, his friends laughed along with him, but inside Blake knew something was wrong, but he wouldn't ruin his Saturday of arms and He continued with the reps.
"Wow it sure does stink."
"Yeah, it looks like your pipe is clogged with something and wants to get rid of all the crap you eat."
Blake: "Shut up, if yours are worse".
"No way bro"
Twenty more minutes passed and the pain wouldn't stop, Blake felt several gases inside him that for some reason he couldn't release, his tight sleeveless shirt was completely sweaty, not from a few simple repetitions, but from the pain and heaviness he felt.
"Hey, hand me that weight that's at your feet Blake."
Blake got up from the seat, moved forward a couple of steps and crouched down, a big mistake:
*PPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.*
A big wet fart came out of his big butt, the smell spread quickly disgusting even his own buddies.
"Dude! What was that?"
Blake: "I think I have diarrhea…"
Blake held his belly and walked slowly to the gym bathroom, however, these were under maintenance, with no choice, he said goodbye to his gymbros and waited at the bus stop to get home.
Tony:
He didn't have any special activity, every Saturday he always went to the park to get some relaxation from the dystopian home he lived in, he usually feels bad about what they do to his younger brother Alain, but he can't do much about it, he had to be the laughing stock of his other two brothers (especially Blake) until Alain finally grew up, At that moment they treated him more like one of their own, like a brother.
He arrived at a wooden bench in front of a small duck pond, thought about his life, how unlike his brothers, he had never had a partner in his life, it sounded nice, but it was obvious that, if he continued with those attitudes of a shy boy, he would never achieve anything with anyone.
His thoughts were cut off when a familiar sound came: *GRRRRRR* a small gurgle was present bringing with it an incredible acidity, to distract himself from that he decided to resume his walk, "Should I have eaten those brownies? Is that what's causing this heartburn? Was it the chocolate? Sugar? Or the guilt I feel?"
He paused for a few seconds, closed his eyes, and... *PPPFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTT*
"Wow, almost and I look like Blake's lol"
The acidity hit him even harder, Tony started sweating when another fart escaped from him: *PPPPFTFFFTFTTFTFTFTF*, it was a hot one, his rectum was starting to burn.
"I think, if it was the brownies, what did they have?"
He bent his knees as another flurry of farts attacked him: *PPPFFFFFFFTTTTTTGT* *PPPFFTFTTFTFTFTFTFTFTF* *GRRRRRRR* *ppftffttftftftftfPPPPPPTPHTTRTRT*
Tony has always had a pretty sensitive stomach compared to his siblings: "I think I need a bathroom right now," his walk went up a notch to become a race with the toilet in his house being the goal, there was no way he would go to those portable toilets in the park.
As he ran the farts became more persistent, smelly and wet, little by little Tony could feel an amorphous mass forming in his intestines struggling to get out.
*PPPFTFTFTFTFTF* *PFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFT* *PPFFFFFTTTT* *PPPFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFT*
Each step meant another exasperating fart announcing the inevitable, before accepting defeat and starting to defecate his beautiful pants, he could see the patio of his house where he could see his sweaty brother Blake.
At Home:
Tony: "Blake, what are you doing here?"
Blake: "I came back from the gym because I'm literally about to have a bout of diarrhea"
Tony: "You too?"
Blake: "I was at the gym when a greasy fart came out of me without warning, I felt my anus burn and the smell..."
Tony: "Ok I got it, I don't need explanations" *PPPFPFFTTFTFTFT*
Blake: "Just like that"
Tony: "Shut up"
After exchanging insults, Thomas' bus arrived and he ran downstairs holding his stomach ignoring his brothers, he tried to open the door, but it was locked.
Thomas: "BUT WHY IS THIS DAMN DOOR LOCKED!?"
Blake: "Wow calm down bro"
Thomas: "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! I NEED TO GET TAR OUT OF MY ANUS RIGHT NOW."
Tony: "Like everybody... One minute... the brownies"
Blake: "You think Alain..."
Thomas: "THAT BASTARD WILL PAY ME *GRRRRRRRRRR* after I sit on the porcelain"
The three brothers yelled at Alain from outside the house, while he watched them through the window suffering, it was so amusing that his "Super Cool" brothers were begging for his mercy trying to contain the monsters inside.
The brothers were looking for some entrance that Alain had forgotten, but there was no such thing, in desperation, Blake had an idea:
Blake: "Guys I can't take it anymore *Started walking while undressing*"
Thomas: "Where are you going? *PPPFTFFTFTFT*"
He went to a small bush in front of his house and...
*PPFFTFTFTFTFFT* *PPSHSHPSSSSSSHHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHSHHSHSHSHSHSHFTTT* *QSHHQHQHHQSHQSHQSHQSHQSHSQ* *PFTFTFTFTFT* *PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*
Tony: "WHAT THE!"
Blake: "Leaves are natural, not porcelain"
*PPFTTFTFTFTTFTFTFTFT* *SQHHSQHSHSHSQHSHSHSHSHQHHQSHSHSHS*
Thomas: "Leave me a place bro"
Blake: "There's always a place for the bro family"
Thomas began to undress until a few drops of diarrhea stained his shoes, which changed his mind to look for another alternative.
Thomas: "Maybe I can ask the neighbors to use their bathroom"
Blake: "You miss it *HSHQSHQHSHSHSQHSHSHSHSHSH*, hey Tony, do you want to come with me?"
Tony: "I'll find another *GRRRRR* entry"
The two brothers parted ways, Thomas stepped on the neighbor's lawn when he felt his diarrhea about to come out, he rang the doorbell hoping for some answer, a young boy opened the door and greeted him:
Neighbor: "Hi Thomas! What can I do for you?"
Thomas was surprised by the fact that his neighbor knew his name and he didn't know his neighbor's, but there was no time to ask.
Thomas: "Good afternoon Neighbor, this is embarrassing, but can I use your bathroom please?"
His neighbor couldn't believe it, the reason he knew Thomas' name, even though the two of them didn't socialize was because he was deeply in love with him, and that, overnight, the love of your life knocked on your door and asked to use your bathroom urgently was a stroke of luck that wasn't going to be wasted by him.
Neighbor: "Go ahead, the bathroom is on the second floor"
Thomas started to run, but his speed was cut short by the pain and the strength needed for his legs to contain the demons inside, with both hands he began to hold his stomach and began to bend slowly, the neighbor asked if Thomas was okay and with a tired and weakened voice said: "No"
*PFGTFTFTTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFT* *QSHSHSHQHSHSHSQHQSHSHSHSHHS* *PFTFTTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTTTTTTTTTF* *RPPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFT*
Thomas shit his pants at his neighbor's house, with his neighbor nearby staring at him, Thomas was embarrassed, sweating profusely and another seizure began:
*PRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPR* *PSPSPSSHSHSHSHSHSHHHHHHHHH* *PFTFTFTFTFT* *PPPFFTFTFTTFTFTFTFTFTF* *PPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*
Thomas: "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to"
Neighbor: "No... Don't apologize, this can happen to anyone, and it doesn't bother me either..."
Thomas: "Oh... *PSHHSPSHSSHHPSHPSHSPHPHSHPSPHPHPHSSHHHHHHHHHHPRPRPRPR*"
Neighbor: "Don't worry, I'll help you clean up later, let me... Blow... to the bathroom..."
Thomas: "Thank you..."
While this was happening, Tony was desperate, he was about to take the free place of Blake's bush until he saw something peculiar, the window that looked into his parents' room was open, something that reminded him that when he and his brothers were looking, that window was totally closed, did Alain take pity on him?, one more growl alerted him and very carefully opened the window completely and entered as slowly as possible to Let nothing from the inside be expelled to the outside without warning.
He entered the silent room, ran to the half-open door of his parents' bathroom, the urgency was so great that he did not notice the smell of the room and neither did the fact that his father was sitting on the throne.
They were both frightened, Tony covered his eyes and wanted to leave the spacious bathroom until he was stopped by his father's voice:
Todd: "Son, why did you come in through the window?"
Tony: "The house was totally locked, so I decided to come in here and use your bathroom dad."
Todd: "And why not use yours?"
Tony: "That's what I'm going to do at this... *PFPFPPPFPFFTFTFTTFTTF* moment"
Todd: "Looks like your *PLOP* knows what happened to my laxative, huh?"
Tony: "Laxative!? *GRRRRRRRRR* that bastard... Aghhh I can't even take a step, I'm going to shit on the floor."
Todd: "Of course not, use this bathroom"
After a choppy fart, Todd got up from the toilet unashamedly showing off his long, hairy penis to his son Tony: "All yours champ."
Tony: "You're going to clean up... or?"
Todd: "I Still Feel Like My Stomach Is Still Cooking, I'm Not Going To Waste Paper"
Tony ignoring the image in his head of his father's stained buttocks, began to undress in embarrassment as he approached the toilet, the water was brown, in the center was a large sausage, apparently several days old in Todd's stomach, Tony uncomfortably sat his pale butt on the sweaty and hot toilet lid:
*PFFFFFFFFFFTFTFTFTTFTFTFTF* *QSHHSHSQHSHSQHHSQHSHSQH* *PLOP* *PLOP* *PLOP* *PRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPR* *PLOP* *PLOP* *PRRRRRRPSPSPSSSSSSSSSSS*
Tony: "AGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Todd: "You weren't lying about the urgency..."
Tony: "Not now, Dad..."
*PRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPR* *QSGQQSHHSQHHQSHQHHSQSQ* *PPFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTFTTFFF* *GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR*
Todd: "Not even I, who have been constipated, have come to that, you can be a champion!"
Tony: "I want to die..."
*PLOP* *PLOP* *PLOP* PPPPFFTFTTFTFTFTFTFTFPPRPRPRPRPRPRPRPPRPRPRP* *QSHHSQHSHSQHHSHHSHSQQH* *PPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*
After 5 minutes, Tony's stomach calmed down enough to leave his father's bathroom and continue in his own.
Todd: "Well done son, now save me a spot, I feel like I'm going to break your record in a few seconds."
Tony got up and didn't clean himself, he turned around and saw the mess, the brown soup increased in size where several sections had different consistencies, colors and smells, and from this stood out his father's sausage now bathed in Tony's diarrhea.
When Tony left the room he saw Blake waving at him from the window, Tony covered his crotch and opened the door for him:
Blake: "Did you shit on yourself? And how did you get in?"
Tony: "None of your business..."
Blake: "After Tony arrives, the three of us show Alain who he's playing..."
Finally, after 1 hour, Thomas arrived with clothes borrowed from his neighbor, he didn't want to talk to anyone and locked himself in his room.
P.S. This will be the story that starts the week-long daily story marathon.

32 | Oh Lord
Series: Unexpected
Paring: (Matt Sturniolo x OFC Brock!) (Chris Sturniolo x OFC Brock!)
Word Count: 1k
Warnings: none
| MASTERLIST |
Tumblr media
"Wait, wait, wait. The plan is for you three to be in the and cook us burgers for dinner?" Dani asks laying on Matt's bed as he sat at his desk.
"Yeah, Chris thought it was a good idea and help us save money from eating out." He spins around to face her.
"If something happens, I'm not helping."
"Don't worry, the smoke alarm won't go off." He laughs facing his computer again.
"Why would it even need to go off?" Her eyes widen so he just shrugs his shoulders. She gets off his bed going to Chris's room, "Whatever you guys do.... Don't try to make the smoke alarm go off."
"No, that is actually my worst fear doing this video." He tells her quickly agreeing with her, "I'm terrified about it might going off."
"Well then don't make it go off!"
"I'm gonna try not to!" He shouts back.
When the guys get back from the store Dani watches them set up, "I'm scared that all three of you are in the kitchen cooking. And following Chris's lead..." She makes a face.
"You have no faith in me. Watch, I'm going to make the best burgers ever and she's gonna take it back." Chris tells her and then his brothers.
"I'm scared of your way too. Dani might be right." Matt tells Chris.
"Dani just go to your room." Chris points his finger at her and Nick woo's, "Or hush." He adds.
"Can y'all just not make a big mess?" Dani asks them but Nick and Chris were bickering, "Matt, you know how I am about the kitchen. I hate when it's messy." Dani says so she looks over at Matt, "Are you ignoring me too?"
"No, I hear you." He lets her know before she leaves to get her phone.
When she comes back she sees what they were doing, "Guys, are you serious?" She asks them.
"This doesn't seem too smart." Chris looks at how they have it plugged in.
"Obviously!" She shouts at them as Nick shows the viewers how they have it set up.
Right as they start, Chris already dropped the meat on himself making Dani say she can't watch so she goes to her room. With the guys alone now, Chris plays around a lot since Dani can't tell him to stop.
"Stop." Matt tells him.
"Double 360."
"Dani would slap you." Matt laughs at him.
As more time passes it was Matt's turn to help out, "I want Dani." Matt whines as he messes with the meat getting tired of helping.
Both Chris and Nick laugh at him, "She always cooks so it's her day off in here." Nick tells him.
While the boys cooked and Dani was in her room she was texting Sam. They were making plans to hangout this upcoming weekend. She would go visit him while Colby was out of town with his girlfriend. She was just asking for a break from everything to relax.
"DANI COME TRY THIS!" She hears Matt yell for her.
When she comes out she sees Chris using a paper plate to fan the smoke away, "Oh, Lord."
"Just take a bite of this." Matt rushes over to her so she can take a bite of it so she does, "It's good, right?"
She nods her head going for another bite, "Not bad."
Sam: Yeah, I'll make sure your room is in perfect condition.
Back in her room she was packing a few things to take on her little trip to visit Sam to get away from everything.
"You moving out?" Chris laughs entering her room.
"No, I'm leaving in a couple of days to go hangout with Sam. A little vacation from here." She laughs.
"No Colby?"
"Nah, he's on a trip with his girlfriend." She tells him still fixing her bag.
"Have you even met his girlfriend?"
"Nope. Just know her name. His dating life isn't any of my business yet mine is all of his." She laughs.
"What dating life? You don't have one?" Chris laughs playing around with her.
"Exactly and it's his fault. He hates every guy I like or scares them away."
"And he doesn't 100% like you living with us as well." Chris adds.
"He likes y'all just not that I live with boys. He doesn't trust me... or Matt a bit."
"He trusts me? Does that mean he doesn't see me as a challenge?" He jokes.
"It's just we aren't as super close you know what I mean? Like Matt and I are. I can't explain it but you know?"
-
It's been about a week since Dani left and honestly the boys hated not having her home. As soon as it passed three days they felt like a piece was missing. Sometimes the boys would catch themselves either getting ready to shout for her or walk towards her room.
"Has Dani told you when she'll be back?" Chris asks Matt as they sit in the car so Matt nods his head, "I- I still don't understand why she chose you to be the closest to."
"K."
"I just mean... Nick is still right there. You know?" Chris tries to explain, "They got years vs our months. I just feel like... Like, y'all's connection is unfair." Chris keeps going as Matt just stares at him, "You two are just always attached at the hip and,"
Matt finally cuts in, "Are you gonna create a problem?"
"No."
"I don't force her to hangout with me. She comes to me because you or Nick are busy doing whatever." Matt explains to him.
"It's still unfair."
"How?" Matt asks confused.
"Just is."
"Oh well." Matt shrugs.
"I'm gonna ask her."
"What like on a date?" Matt asks.
"Why not? You think she'll say no?" Chris asks, "I gotta get some kind of information to see if she likes one of us." He adds as Matt didn't seem to care for the idea, "You hate the idea of it!"
"Go ahead." Matt tells him not believing he'll go through with it.
"Bet, I will."
"Okay." Matt nods his head, "How are you even gonna go about it?" He asks curious.
"I have no idea but I'm gonna prove that I'm not gonna chicken out of asking her."

Is this what Happiness is?
- hey so I haven't seen an interpretation of the bar scenes in Half that I fully agree with, so I wanted to throw my own two cents out there into the void and pray that it makes sense !!!
Tumblr media
so, in the bar scenes in Half we see what I interpret as a hangout with old friends (or, hangout with old friend + his wife.) These scenes used to be the biggest piece of evidence for the cheater theory, but now that that's been debunked by the man himself, I have a new way of looking at them
~ before I go any further, I just wanted to say that I'll be calling the brown-haired woman whiskey for simplicity's sake
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In this scene, Kazui turns to look at Whiskey, saying the lyrics:
"laughing together, side by side, this distance in our relationship is misleading me, is this what happiness is?"
With my guess (cuz that's really what it is there's no evidence for it) that Whiskey is the Bartender's wife i think this scene is Kazui being conflicted with what he's been told is true, that marrying Hinako is "true love", versus what he feels is true, that marrying Hinako has brought distance into their relationship.
He looks at Whiskey, a woman happily married, and wonders why his relationship with Hinako isn't like that.
~ shout out to @prisoner-000 for the following screenshot
Tumblr media
in this post he points out that Hinako and Kazui's rings are silver in Cat, not gold like they were in Half, yet Bartender's ring colour stays the same.
For the sake of this writing I'm going to go with the first meaning they put out, that Bartender's ring is gold because his marriage is genuine.
But wait!! I hear you ask. This is Half and Kazui's ring is still gold in Half!! EXACTLY MY FRIEND!!
Kazui's ring IS still gold in Half because at the time of these scenes he's still fooling himself that this relationship is good, that he will eventually garner real romantic feelings for Hianko.
"laughing together, side by side, this distance in our relationship is misleading me, is this what happiness is?"
Remember this lyric that plays during the Whiskey -> Hinako scene. You know what other scene in Half this lyric reminds me of?
Tumblr media
laughing together, side by side,
Tumblr media
this distance in our relationship is misleading me,
Tumblr media
is this what happiness is?
He's beginning to doubt if what he believes is true, he's beginning to believe the feelings telling him something's wrong (and remember, the scene right after this one is when he confesses (?) his secret to Hinako) ARE infact true, and that maybe the logic he's been following for so long has a couple holes in it.
I think these scenes are meant to show Kazui gradually realising that his relationship with Hinako will not work out. It just won't, no matter how hard he tries.
He's able to laugh together and talk with Whiskey because she's his friend, yet he can't do the same with his own wife? Even though, according to his gold ring, their relationship is supposed to be real and true and genuine?

JISUNG’S POV
"Dude, I swear! She was smiling and everything!" I told Chenle when I got back to our dorm and started explaining what happened, and of course, he didn't believe a word I said. He kept swearing that I was exaggerating, but how could I make this up? "So then what?" He asked, "Did you get her number?" When he asked this, I paused...technically, I don't have her number; she has mine, and she still hasn't texted me. So no. "Well...no, but-" He stopped me and laughed as Mark shook his head with a sigh. "HA! I knew it!" He said, "You have no balls! Dude, you need to be more confident in yourself," He added. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as he began his usual speech about how I'm too 'shy'; he's been giving the same long-winded speech for three years. Ever since I showed interest in Y/N, he's been telling me the same thing repeatedly: "You're gonna miss out if you don't." As he said this, I huffed and sat down at my desk. They've been saying this for so long now, and as far as I can see, things are going well.
I leaned my head against my arm and muttered, "Well, she has my number...so I'll have hers when she texts me." Feeling slightly annoyed and bitter about their opinions, I can handle this perfectly fine—waiting isn't wrong; I want to do it perfectly; if I confess to her, I want it to feel natural. As they continued to talk, silently, I flipped through the pages of my notebook, wishing I had asked for her number. I would've texted her by now; it's been at least three hours since then...maybe she forgot? Or she's busy? I exhale deeply. Who am I kidding? I would probably wait a whole day to text her if I had her number; even with the project being our reason for talking, I'd still take so long to say something. So maybe she's the same way? "Is she?" I mentally ask myself. I can easily recall all the people who talk to her daily. Whenever I see her, someone is talking to her and asking her about her day.
Y/N may not be completely extroverted or introverted, but she's way more friendly than me. So it seems strange that she'd be nervous to text me. She didn't exactly seem anxious to be sitting next to me or to approach me as I was leaving, so maybe it's just that she's busy. "Jisung." I mean, it's not unrealistic. "Jisung." We're both college students; there's no way she doesn't have homework or something. "Jisung!" I mean, she seemed pretty happy talking to me, so- "Jisung!" I cringed as I heard Chenle yell my name; I turned to him with wide eyes, and they both stared at me with concerned expressions. "We're going to get something to eat. Do you want to come?" I only shake my head; I can't eat right now, not while my stomach is in knots. "Are you sure? Do you want us to bring you anything to eat then?" Asked Mark. I shook my head again, and they both gave me one more worried look before saying okay and leaving.
As they grab their jackets and a set of keys I turn back to the wall and look up at the ceiling. Maybe I should've been a little bolder. "Jisung," As Mark called my name, I turned my head to him; "Don't stress too much, dude," He said, "Don't overthink it too much; all you have to do is be yourself." Hearing Mark say this made me sigh, but I could only nod—he was right. Maybe I am overthinking this too much. As the door closes, I reach into my pocket to check my phone; I haven't gotten one notification in the past four hours. As I click the power button and the screen remains black, my eyes go wide. "What?!" I groan and rush over to my bed, realizing only now, that I was so excited to tell them about what happened that I had forgotten to charge my phone. "...No way..."
Tumblr media
THIRD PERSON
As you rewrite your entire essay, you nervously bite your lip. You texted Jisung three hours ago, and he still hasn't responded. You thought that maybe you were too excited; saying to yourself: "Maybe I should've waited a little longer.” Or maybe your text was too awkward, you didn’t know. You groaned as you thought about it again, looking over to your phone as you slammed your hands down on your desk and stared at your screen. "Was it that bad?" You asked yourself aloud, "I mean..." You paused and began to reach for your phone. "Maybe I should tell him I was just joking?" You stopped as an anxious feeling filled your body; your stomach felt like it was doing cartwheels, and your heart was racing. "God, I can't work like this." You pushed yourself away from your desk and stood up, saying, "I'm acting like I asked him to be my boyfriend or something; it's just a simple text; the worst he can do is make it blatantly obvious that he hates me."
You huffed and went to your mini fridge to grab a bottle of water, "I mean...he obviously doesn't, though; he was so red in the face it would stop traffic." You shook your head, hoping some water would calm you down; you cracked the top open, and took a refreshing sip. But just as you were starting to feel relaxed and enjoy the cold drink, your phone dinged, making you choke as your eyes went wide. As you hurriedly put the top back onto your water, you simultaneously rushed back to your desk to check your phone. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" You chanted. Standing before your desk, you closed your eyes and took a deep breath, hoping to prepare yourself for the best and the worst mentally. As you slowly opened your eyes, you reached for your phone. Unlocking it you slowly open your notifications with your heart pounding against your chest like a drunk, your stomach feels unbelievably warm from the anxiety you felt.
'Sungie.'
You squealed as you read his name and jumped around before dramatically falling to your knees and screaming. Gripping your phone tightly, you closed your eyes again and tried to calm yourself a little before standing up again. This time—feeling slightly more nervous than before, you sat down and opened your eyes actually to read his message.
Sungie: haha, sorry, I forgot to charge my phone
Although your heart felt calmer, you still felt so on edge, and he hadn't even acknowledged your message...was it that bad? You inhaled deeply and decided you'd have to put these nervous feelings aside if you wanted this to go anywhere after this project.
You: it's okay, lol
You: I thought you were just busy
The moment you hit send, it delivered, and without a second of it being sent, it said in tiny letters: 'read' and he was typing.
Sungie: oh, I wasn't busy
Sungie: I actually went right back to my dorm
Sungie: I actually thought you forgot to text me and got a little worried
And just like he did, you responded right away.
You: of course not lol
You: I actually went back to my dorm too
This time, your message was left delivered for a second longer, and every second, you felt more and more anxious. Were you being too dull? Your mind rambled in those few seconds until you finally got another text.
‘Replying to : do you mind if I call you instead? I'm a lot better on the phone hahaha’↩︎
Sungie: I don't mind...
Sungie: I think I'm better on the phone than I am texting too so I'd like that more hahahaahahahahaha
Sungie: is now okay for you?
Your eyes went wide...he responded to it? Of course, he did, but it still shocked you. His liking of the idea especially dumbfounded you, originally you thought that asking to call him instead of texting was a little too pushy for him or that he'd feel uncomfortable. But this blew your mind.
You: Now is fine
Just as you were typing another message, your phone began to ring, and your heart pounded against your chest so hard that it rang through your ears, and your stomach was filled with butterflies. Your shaky hands held your phone as you smiled and took a second to collect yourself before answering the FaceTime call. Your heart skipped a beat as you looked at him. Jisung’s phone was already set up, and he was sitting right in front of it—his cheeks as rosy as could be with a shy smile that made your knees feel weak even as you sat down. He cleared his throat, nervously pushing his hair back as he said softly in a shy tone, "Uhm, hi." You couldn't hold back the smile on your face as he asked cutely, "Did I call too fast?" You laughed a little and shook your head as you sat your phone down in front of you. "No..." The awkward silence between the two of you didn't feel too bad. For a second, you both just sat staring at each other and fiddling with your thumbs until Jisung finally spoke.
"Sorry, I don't mean to stare...I'm a little nervous," He said. You wanted to scream at how cute he was, and his shy tone matched his gentle, and deep voice so perfectly. How could you not swoon? "It's okay," You said with a laugh. "I'm nervous, too," He smiled even more and laughed as he looked away and cleared his throat again. "But this is good, and it'll help us with our project if we're both nervous...so let's try to talk a lot."
Tumblr media
Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes to hours. Before you both knew it, three hours had passed, and you had jumped from every subject possible—from your favorite teachers, to your favorite foods and movies. It only took a few minutes for him to open up to you. To your surprise, so much was hiding underneath his seemingly cold and calm exterior. He talked about his interests so passionately and listened to yours so attentively, responding and asking questions when you mentioned something you liked, even though it seemed like he already knew about some of them. The conversation was going so smoothly that you had forgotten what you should be doing. Neither of you could care about that right now though—the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere was just too good for you to return to work.
“Lemon milk tea?” You laughed as you questioned his odd choice, “That’s the drink you’d pick if you could only drink one thing for a whole month?” Jisung nodded as he laughed. “It’s so good, I could drink that for two months straight if I had to.” You shook your head with a smile and rolled over on your back, holding your phone above your face. This time Jisung returned your question to you, “Well, what would yours be?” He asked.
You hummed playfully and jokingly said, “Water.” As he laughed at your joke, you could hear a door open and a voice in the background asking, “Are you talking to yourself?” Immediately, Jisung stopped laughing and looked in the direction the voice came from. “Uhm, hold on.” You nodded as he muted the call and stood up. Laying on your back, you smiled as you happily waited for him to return; you hadn’t been in such a good mood in so long, especially because of a guy.
You couldn’t believe that Jisung was showing so much interest in you. The only time you saw him seem even remotely interested in anything was when he was in class if he had to speak. Just thinking about it made you like him even more. As he rushed back to his phone, he quickly picked it up and unmuted it, then asked; “Could I call you back later? My roommates are back.” You nodded and smiled, saying happily, “Sure, I don’t mind.” He looked at you one last time with a smile and said, “Okay...” Sounding just as happy as you. As happily as he did, you muttered a soft “Okay.” before he finally hung up, you pressed your phone against your chest and closed your eyes tightly as you silently squealed and kicked your feet.

Regressor Moon + cg's jade winglet minific
@babyminty
I wrote this such a long time ago but never had the courage to post it till now. I have another little bit written but it's not as completed as this one with Winter and Qibli. Maybe I should finish these and post them on ao3. I'll think about it, in the meantime... enjoy :D
~~~
“Aww how old are you hatchling?”
Moon shrugs. She had honestly thought she was doing a half alright job at hiding her regression. Either she was sorely mistaken (which was slightly worrisome) or her friend was just super observant.
“Two? Maybe one? Or maybe younger?” The rainwing seemed to just be rambling off numbers at this point. Moon tucked herself closer to the smaller dragon, as if trying to shrink away from the other two dragons who had now entered the cave.
“Scorpions tails! Moon did something happen to you?! Did she go insane? Is this something that happens when you can read dragons minds?!” Qibli asked frantically, reaching out one paw like he was going to touch her but pulling away at the last second. "Wait did she get cursed?!"
Kinkajou look mildly annoyed for some reason, red curling around her snout and eyes. “She’s not going insane, and this isn't some type of animus magic. She's regressed.” The small rainwing was met by two blank stares.
"You're telling me that neither of you know what that is?"
"I could take a guess, but it'd probably be wrong." Qibli adds, unhelpfully. "But she doesn't look physically younger so..."
"It's a type of coping mechanism. You know, to deal with trauma and stress?"
"Like all those stupid activities the dragonets of prophecy keep trying to get us to do?" Winter says, thinking back to the different art and music caves scattered across the school that often are being used by dragons dealing with painful memories from the war. Trying to get them to deal with their feelings in a healthy way, that didn't involve fighting.
"Exactly! I'm trying to figure out how old Moon is."
Winter couldn’t imagine showing this kind of weakness being allowed back at the ice palace, and by the look on Qibli’s face neither could he imagine it. It made sense that a rainwing of all dragons would know about such things. Though Qibli did have the decency to walk up to Moon, crouching down besides her. “Hi there.”
She gave a small, but friendly chirup, reaching out a paw to grab at his snout.
“Moon careful.” Kinkajou warned, taking her friends talons away from the sandwings face.
He bumps snouts with Moon when she starts looking to upset. "She's alright, can't do much more harm than what's already been done to me."
Winter clear his throat. “So what do we do with her?”  Wondering why they couldn’t just leave her and come back when she was normal.
“Usually someone looks after a regressed dragon till they go back to normal. Anyone watching over you Moon?”
The nightwing nodded, looked as though she was going to say something before thinking better of it,  then frowned, then shook her head. Winter did not have the time nor patience to try and figure out whatever that meant.
"Okay, well obviously that means that we've got to look after her right?" Qibli asked, looking over at Kinkajou, who nodded.
"If that's what Moon wants."
"Really?"
"Of course hatchling!" Kinkajou chirped, scales shifting to show dapples of sunny yellow across her body.
“Hey it’s like having a little sister again! One who won’t try and kill me!” Qibli said, already sounding much too fond about looking after Moon than Winter was.
Failed relationship
(Wednesday Addams x fem! reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: You meet Wednesday Addams, and quickly develop feelings for her, which leads to the two of you to start a romantic relationship. But things don't always go as expected... Warnings: angst, Wednesday has a phone a/n: this is very personal (by that I mean it’s what happened with my ex lol), sorry if you don't relate to r like you usually would (English isn't my first language, I'm sorry if there are mistakes or if something doesn't make sense TvT)
The beginning of the semester had been marked with the arrival of a new student at Nevermore; Wednesday Addams. The second she stepped into the classroom, she caught your attention.
You didn't exactly knew why, but you felt like you could get along well.
The only thing was you had no idea how to start a conversation with her. It was not easy to catch her before she left the class after the bell had rung; she was really quick to walk away, you barely had time to close your pencil case that she was already gone.
But a few weeks after the semester had begun, the perfect opportunity came to you.
Yoko had been sent to the infirmary for a 'garlic incident', and Wednesday would replace her as the Black Cats' co-captain.
"You should put some gloves on" you told her as she walked past you
"Excuse me?"
"I said you should put some gloves on"
"Why is that?"
"There's no rules in the Poe cup, who knows what your opponents could have put on the oars"
Wednesday stared at you, seemingly thinking about what you just said. Then, she nodded slightly, showing that your remark was valid.
"I'll ask Enid for gloves then."
She turned around, ready to leave.
"I don't think she has an extra pair. But I can lend you mine if you want" you offered kindly
There's a little silence before she faced you again and spoke.
"Why would you do that? You owe me nothing."
"I know, I just- I just want to help"
You handed her the gloves with a gentle smile, waiting for her to stop looking at you suspiciously. Eventually, she took the gloves. Her fingers brushed over yours in the process.
She opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, Enid shouted at her to come in the boat as the race was about to start.
"You should go, if you really want to humiliate Bianca" you smiled
She nodded and made her way to the Black Cats' boat, putting the gloves on.
As expected with Wednesday on the team, Ophelia Hall won the Poe cup, for Bianca's greatest misfortune. After the race, when Weems was busy congratulating the team, the ravenette came to you.
"You were right; there was indeed something on the oars. How did you know?"
"I saw Bianca going out of Miss Thornhill's class with a jar last night, and thought it had something to do with the Poe cup"
"So it was just an assumption. It could have been for more innocent purposes." she paused "What is it exactly that she took from Miss Thornhill's greenhouse?"
"I have no idea, I couldn't see" you sighed, shrugging
There was a little silence before she started talking again.
"Would you mind if I kept your gloves for some time? I would like to study this mysterious substance."
"No, of course, you can keep them! You'll tell me how your investigation go?"
She frowned, wondering why you would be interested in that, looking at you, then at the ground, then back at you, and nodded slightly, before walking away.
You smiled to yourself as you watched her made her way into the school; now you had an excuse to talk to her.
As expected, approaching her was way easier. You talked quite a lot the next weeks, first about what Bianca could have put on the oars, but little by little, the conversation drifted to more personal things; you got to know each other a bit more during this week.
You didn't want to go too fast, but you were pretty sure she saw you as a good friend.
This thought was confirmed on Friday, right after you learnt one of your teachers wouldn't be here that day, which would give you a 4 hour long lunch break.
You were internally celebrating, already thinking about what you would do, when you noticed a little paper on your desk. You frowned, wondering from where it was from, before taking it and unfolding it.
On the paper, there was only a phone number and two words 'Weathervane, 3pm.' written in perfect cursive, with what seemed to be a black fountain pen.
You looked up to Wednesday, who was sitting in front of you in class. She was facing away from you, but you were sure the note was from her.
You didn't really know how to react; you didn't expect her to have a phone, let alone passing you a note with her number written on it.
During lunch break you thought about texting her but didn't know what to say. Her note was pretty clear, there was no questions to be asked. Why did she give you her number then?
You decided not to question it for now; you were really excited to see her this afternoon, and a bit nervous too.
You didn't exactly know what your feelings were when it came to her, but you were the only thing you were sure of was that you would definitely not mind if your friendship evolved into something else.
You arrived at the Weathervane 5 minutes early and took out your phone. Now this was the perfect occasion to text her.
'Hey Wednesday, it's Y/n. Just to let you know that I'm here :)'
Why did I put an emoji...? you asked yourself, staring at your phone, questioning your life choices.
Her reply was quick: 'I'm already inside.'
You looked up from your phone and turned to face the café. She was, indeed, inside, waiting for you at a table. Great, you thought, now I look like an idiot.
You entered the café, already embarrassed, and walked to the ravenette, sitting in front of her.
"Hi, sorry, did you wait a long time?"
"I got here five minutes ago. I prefer being early. Do you want to drink something? A coffee, perhaps?"
"I- I have to confess... I've never been here before, so I have no idea what they sell... What do you advise me to order?"
"That's quite surprising, I thought all the students always came here. Don't you think it's a bit risky that I choose your order for you? You will probably not like it."
"It's okay, I trust you. I'm sure I will like it" you replied with a smile
She took a moment to look at you, considering your request, before pointing a drink on the menu.
You smiled, and then ordered what she had advice you to try.
"Is it what you expected?" she asked after you took a sip of your drink
"I don't know what I expected, but it's really good! I knew I could trust you"
You gave her a joyful smile as you took another sip. It definitely was really good; you were sure to come again and order that from now on.
"What do you want to talk about now that we have our drinks?" Wednesday asked
"Oh uh... I don't know, I didn't think about that... I'm not really good at that; socializing"
"I can't say I'm the best at it either." she paused "Perhaps we could start by talking about our day?"
You nodded at her words.
"I think it would be a good start"
The rest of the hour you spent together went well, you enjoyed your time with her. And you started to think she did too.; the next day, you spent most of the day texting each other.
Wednesday happened to be a bit more talkative than you imagined, especially when you were debating on books. But that was not what you were talking about right now.
Wednesday: I'm going to kill them.
You: Whoever you want to kill, please don't! I wouldn't want you to go in jail
Wednesday: If I had to kill anyone, nobody would know. I'm too good at it.
You: Oh, sure. If you need help to hide a body, I'm here
Wednesday: Be careful, I could call.
You: I don't mind helping, especially if it's you
The conversation continued on that theme for a moment, before it drifted onto something else. You had mentioned your ex at one point in the conversation, and added that you missed having someone to love.
Wednesday: It will come back. Soon, perhaps.
You: Yeah, maybe sooner than expected (even tho I don't expect much)
Wednesday: Unexpected always happen.
You starred at your phone for a solid 5 minutes after this, trying to figure out whether her text had a hidden meaning or not. Especially since you just agreed on seeing each other on Monday, meaning in two days.
That could mean she knows I like her, and maybe she likes me too! Or I'm just overthinking again... you thought.
The conversation you had the next day only confirmed that thought, to your greatest happiness.
Wednesday had just paid you a compliment, which was getting less unusual as time went by, and you told her you were not used to be talked to like that.
Wednesday: I can imagine that, considering how your ex was. Are you sure you don't want to give away her name?
You: You're not wrong. And yeah, I don't want to "snitch"
Wednesday: You really are too kind. I already had the knife ready.
You: Oh, please don't. She's not worth it
Wednesday: I won't. But I do love dark humor. And if she ever tries to be near you again, I will put that knife to good use.
You: I appreciate it, but why would you do that?
Wednesday: First, because I'm jealous. Second, she only deserves it.
You smiled behind your screen. She was jealous, hm? Maybe she did like you after all.
You: I didn't think you would be jealous! But you're right, she kinda deserves it
Wednesday: I can be. But I've always been told it was not something good, so I don't show it often.
You: Personally, I think it's cute! As long as it's not extreme jealousy of course
Wednesday: I'm never extreme, you should know that.
You: Yeah, that's why you totally don't spend your night trying to analyse what substance is on my gloves since the Poe cup. Don't forget to take some time to rest, okay?
Wednesday: I know, I will. I'm... really looking forward to our meeting tomorrow.
You stayed frozen for a second, not expecting her to say that. You had to double check to be sure you weren't hallucinating. The text was still here, so it was really real.
You: That's one of the only reasons why I'm excited about tomorrow, this little moment with you
Wednesday: Are you sure? Because it looks like you want me dead. My heart is beating incredibly fast, I think I may have a heart attack.
You: I clearly get what you're feeling right now... I feel it too. But it's okay, it's a good heart attack
Wednesday: If we're going down that path all the time, by the end of the week I'm writing you dozen of poems.
You could feel your face burn now. You didn't expect things to escalate so quickly in one night. Because this was flirting, right? It looked like it, at least.
You: Is that- are we... flirting right now...? Sorry I'm really dumb but I want to make sure we're on the same page... Cause I'd like to flirt with you, if it's okay...
Wednesday: I wouldn't mind if you were to flirt with me.
You put your phone away, covering your face with your hands to stop the burning of your cheeks, and rolled on the floor of your room. That means she likes me, ljkhgjhkjhljgfkh!!
You took a minute to compose yourself and grabbed your phone again. Your hands were shaking a bit.
You: So... can we consider tomorrow's meeting as... a date?
Wednesday: If you want to call it that way, I don't mind calling it a date.
You: I'd be more than happy to call it a date with you
Wednesday: A date it is, then. It sounds... great.
You were so excited you could barely contain yourself. You were kicking your feet, smiling uncontrollably. You had a date with Wednesday Addams. You never thought it would be possible.
You talked a bit more that night, before eventually going to sleep. Or at least trying to. You were so excited for your date; you didn't know if you would be able to sleep.
A few weeks after that night, you started to question things. Wednesday and you went on more dates, but your relationship was still undefined.
You didn't think you could be called friends, at this point. But you didn't know if you could be called girlfriends either, or if she wanted you to be girlfriends.
You had already asked her what you two were, and she replied that she didn't know, that you would figure it out together, which did not really help. So you decided it was time to make a move.
You took a deep breath, grabbed your phone, and started typing: 'Hypothetically, if I asked you to be my girlfriend... what would you say?'
She took a moment to reply, during which you started overthinking the whole thing. But out of all the different scenarios that had popped in your head, her answer was none of them.
In her text, she said that you had ruined her plan, that she had planned a more... romantic way to ask you out. So you suggested to erase this conversation from your memory so she could do what she had planned on.
Her romantic side always surprised you, but you weren't complaining. You really liked it, and whatever she wanted to do to ask you out, you were sure you would like it too.
Maybe two weeks later, Wednesday suggested you go on a date, at night. Of course, you agreed; you were always happy to spend more time with her.
She took you somewhere in the forest surrounding Nevermore. You walked for a little while, until you finally saw a blanket on the ground, with all that is necessary for a picnic.
You had a good time with her, laying on the blanket under the stars after you finished eating. It was very romantic, especially since at one point, she played some music on a Bluetooth speaker.
'Lover', by Taylor Swift. Totally not her style of music.
You looked over to her with a questioning look.
"There is something I want to tell you, Y/n."
"What is it?" you said gently, smiling
"... I find it really pleasant to go on dates with you. I would like you to be my girlfriend."
You blushed at her words, not expecting her to ask you out at this moment. She must have seen it, because her lips curl up a bit.
"Is it a yes?"
"Of course it's a yes!"
Your now official couple statut didn't change a lot of things between the two of you. Except that now you could call her your girlfriend, and vice versa.
Oh, yes. There was one little change; she showed her care for you a little more.
One day during winter, you both went ice skating. You were not really good at it, but it was fun anyways. Wednesday even offered you took her hand so you didn't fall too much, as she was really good at ice skating.
Offer that you accepted, of course.
But at one point, you decided to try and go by yourself, which resulted in you falling miserably after you took too much confidence.
Wednesday came to rescue you with a slight smirk.
"I look so dumb..." you mumbled, blushing in embarrassment
"I would rather say you looked cute."
"If I may... I'd prefer you call me yours rather than cute" you said quietly, almost as a joke, as she helped you get up
"Oh, you're mine, don't doubt it, cara mia."
<><><><> ♡ <><><><>
Wednesday and you hadn't really talked in weeks. It was limited to 'hello' when you saw each other in the hallways between classes. You tried to discuss it with her, but never knew how to bring that up.
You suggested you both go out to spend a bit of time together, but she was always busy. 'Another time' that's what she said. But said time never seem to come.
You talked about it with Yoko, your best friend. She told you to do exactly what you already did, that it was nothing, that you just needed to talk about that.
But deep down, you knew.
You could feel it wasn't just 'nothing'. It was more than that.
Yet you still had hope.
"Y/n."
You turned around, hearing her calling you. You finally managed to find a moment to discuss the problem.
"Wednesday, I-"
"We should talk."
You felt your heart sink at her words. It was never good when it started that way.
"Yeah, I was thinking that too..."
"Is there a particular thing you would want to talk about?"
"Maybe the fact that we don't talk anymore, that we almost never see each other anymore...?"
"Indeed. I think it's a must, instead of talking about it with our friends."
You nodded.
"What can we say about that? Is it because... we're falling apart? Or just because neither of us really has time?"
"We surely don't have the time. But we don't try to have it either. Or at least, I don't anymore." she paused "And I'm not 'falling apart'. Rather that I made it clear with myself about the fact I was not going to fall."
Your heart ached at her words.
"So uh..." you gulped, throat tight "What does this mean, for us...?"
She doesn't answer just yet, taking the time to consider your question.
"Don't you think we should just break up?" she finally said "What is your point of view? I don't want to do it without expressing yourself about the last two months."
It took every ounce of strength you had to hold back your tears.
"I- honestly... I'm not really doing okay not seeing you, or talking to you... I... I miss you, Wednesday..."
The ravenette nodded slightly.
"It's simply that... I don't get the spark. Or whatever it's supposed to be. I don't feel it."
"Oh..." you said quietly "Maybe we should just break up then... I- trust me, I don't want to; I'd like to give us a chance... but if you don't feel like it, it's okay..."
"We don't work well, but not to the point to break up. We just don't try."
What do you mean we don't try? I- I feel like I'm doing everything I can to make it work... you thought.
"And I know, I'm often busy, so not really caring. But I warned you. As for in class... It's rather uncomfortable for me to be next to you. I have no clue on how to act." she continued
"You don't have to force yourself in anything- if it really makes you uncomfortable, we don't have to sit next to each other... And if it's really not working..."
"I don't know if it's working. Don't get me wrong; you don't make me feel bad. But you don't make me feel incredibly good either. Nobody does."
"So we just... stop here...?"
You tried your best not to make it too obvious your voice was shaking.
"... I think we should."
The aftermath of the breakup was... a bit weird.
That very night after it ended, you cried yourself to sleep. The next day, you had to hold back your tears while in class, and almost broke down when your friend asked you if you were okay.
But the next week, the one before your school trip, was okay. You didn't think about that, you were too busy preparing your things for the trip.
It was the same during the 10 days that lasted the trip. You were too busy to think about it, and too tired at night not to fall asleep almost instantly.
When it really became hard, was a few days after you went back home; one night, you broke into tears. You cried for more than an hour. As if it was only now that you realized things were really over between the two of you.
You felt so dumb. You should have known it was too good to last. You should have seen it coming. By the way she kept cancelling your plans, or be late to the ones she didn't cancel; by the way you barely had a real conversation at one point; by the way she never said she loved you, or liked you, or nothing like that -which didn't bother you at first, knowing her, but after all that happened, it seemed obvious.
And the fact that Wednesday and you were in the same class did not help. Especially since she seemingly had no problems talking to you after all that, like nothing happened.
It only hurt you more. She seemed to have moved on quickly, almost like she didn't care.
4 months after the breakup, you were doing better. At least that's what you tried to convince yourself of.
You had almost no problem talking to her now and were not thinking about your relationship anymore.
But one night, as you were slipping under the covers, you kicked a plushie. You frowned and grabbed it.
It was the bat stuffed animal she had bought you for your birthday.
You couldn't throw it away. You were attached to it now.
You looked at it for a little while and brought it to your nose. It didn't smell like her anymore.
A new wave of sadness washed over you, and tears began to fall.
You couldn't do it anymore. You had to find a solution to stop having breakdown because of this failed relationship.
Only one thing came to your mind. Writing.
And that's what lead you to sit in front of your computer, 40 screenshots of your conversations with her on your phone, ready to flaunt your feelings on paper.
I'm not sure how I got into this situation. It was a normal day, but when lunch time came, I was approached by Shidesu. I was near one of the vending machines, and Taeko and Taro were in the club room waiting for me to come back. I turned around, and I saw Shidesu. I thought it was odd that he was in the school, but he was near the vending machine, so I assumed he just came in for a snack.
I was going to leave, but Shidesu spoke, and he wanted to have lunch with me, and that's how I'm next to him on the rooftop.
"So, why did you want to have lunch with me?" I ask him as I take a bite out of the bento that Taeko made me. I remember when I told her that I was going to be with Shidesu, she was a little mad. She shoved the green bento box into my hands and sent me on my way. The recent memory greatly embarrassed me since Shidesu was standing right behind me.
"Just wanted to talk to someone other than the guys," he tells me as he takes a quick sip from his soda. I guess, the answer makes sense, but I don't really like it all that much. Why the hell did he want to be with me out of all people? It didn't make a lot of sense.
So I question it, "Why me? I'm not exactly your type."
"And who said that?" He quickly asks me. The reaction catches me off guard. Why is he so defensive all of a sudden?
"No one. I just thought-"
"Well, you thought wrong, alright. I actually enjoy your presence," he told me quickly. I wonder if he wants me to think differently of him.
"We just met?" I question.
"What, I can't get to know you? Some world we live in," he scoffs as he looks away from me.
"I mean, if you do want to get to know me, I don't mind," I tell him as I keep eating from the bento box. I look at Shidesu, and I notice that he finished his soda, but I just noticed that he doesn't have anything else to eat. Why did he only get soda? Is he trying to starve himself?
I move my bento box closer to him, and I point at it with my chopsticks, "Get some. A soda isn't enough for someone like you."
"For someone like me? Are you calling me fat or something, (L/N)?" I swear I could see a flash of hurt go through his golden eyes, but it quickly left, and it got replaced with a look that could kill me.
"No. Just have some, Shidesu. I know you're hungry. You can have the rest of it if you want," I tell him as I go to clean the plastic chopsticks with a napkin that Taeko gave me. I then give him the chopsticks.
He takes them and looks at me, "You're not even going to wash them?"
"Take it, or I'll take it back," I tell him before leaning against the wall and closing my eyes. I'm still so tired from everything, and now I have to deal with a delinquent who I have no idea what he wants from me.
"This is really good. I guess your little girlfriend can really cook," Shidesu tells me as he takes a bite from the rice.
I let out a sigh and shake my head, "She's not my girlfriend, she's a close friend."
"Really? Good," he tells me before looking back down at the bento in his hands.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Nothing."
"Fine."
I don't really enjoy my time with Shidesu. I wish that I was with the siblings instead of this delinquent. We don't have much in common, and I don't even know how to keep a conversation going with him. The lunch feels longer than usual, but I try my best to push through it.
Then, a familiar face shows up. Wearing his red cape, a rose in his hair, and his violet hair, I see Kizano making a beeline for me once he sees me on one of the benches.
"There you are, darling!" Kizano walks over to me, but he stops when he sees Shidesu next to me, "Darling, who is...?"
"No one to you," Shidesu keeps eating from the bento box, taking large bites out of the rice and chicken.
"Is that so? Well, I guess you wouldn't mind me taking him for a moment, will you?" Kizano asks with a coy smile.
"I do mind. I don't know what game you're playing, drama king, but leave us alone and go somewhere else," Shidesu dismisses Kizano. Kizano looks taken back from the way Shidesu talks to him. I don't think anyone has talked to Kizano that way in his life.
I turn to look at Kizano and give him a smile that I hope will make him feel better, "How about we talk tomorrow? Would that be alright, Kizano?"
"Yes, it would be good. I'll see you later," Kizano quickly says, but I can hear the frustration laced in his voice as he walks off and goes back into the school.
"What is he to you? Seemed too buddy-buddy to me," Shidesu tells me as he closes the bento and places it on the bench on the empty space between us.
"A friend... I suppose," I really didn't know what to consider Kizano. He was too close to be considered a normal friend, but we aren't dating either. But I guess being friends would be the closest thing to labeling our relationship.
"What, you like the guy?"
"I mean, I do find him interesting."
"Just keep it that way."
"What do you mean?"
"Alright, I gotta go. I'll see around later," he gets up and leaves without saying another word. I watch him go back inside, and I'm only left with my thoughts. I feel like I'm going to lose my mind trying to understand him. Why did he have to come into my life now?
My mind starts to wonder about the Rana situation that happened. I feel that when it first happened, I went into a slight state of shock, but I know I need to try my best to move on. Luckily, he isn't here anymore, and he can't put his disgusting hands on me or anyone else. I can at least be thankful for that.
The bell soon rings, and I start to head to class. As I walk down the hall to my next class, I get an idea. An idea that could make my friendship with Shidesu worth it. I could use his status as a delinquent to my advantage. It could give me more connection and more people on my side. It really could be worth it.
And it could be the step in the right direction to arresting Ayato, I just gotta play it right.
Note
I have been forced to be in survival mode for the past 3 years, always holding up everyone around me without ever being able to take time to breathe or care for myself. It was especially bad with my mom, and I feel like I became the parent for a while as she would always tell me I was the only thing supporting her and keeping her steady. I wanted to support her but the weight was suffocating me. Now that things have settled in life I feel guilty for crying, it's so late after everything happened and because I held it together so well when everything was bad people just expect me to always be happy, and its been coached into me that I need to keep it together to take care of others. It often makes me feel like I'm not doing good enough. Could you do something with Ace seeing the reader scared to breakdown or be vulnerable because they've haven't been allowed to for so long since theyre always taking care of others or expected to be happy like me, and he tells them it's okay and offers to just sit with them while they cry?
Finally! Here it is! Alright so I didn't quite make their relationship romantic, but I don't think I really made it platonic either, so you can imagine it as you like. Also, my heart goes out to you so hard. I know exactly what survival mode is like, so I feel you. Also, I changed it up a little so Ace isn't really just sitting with them and telling them it's okay, I hope you don't mind. (If you don't like it, tell me, I'll rewrite emergency requests if needed.) Anyway! I hope you like this and THANK YOU for being so patient with me.
      Walking through the halls of the Moby Dick, you took a few deep breaths, making sure to plaster a smile on your face whenever a crew member came into view. It had been such an exhausting week and to be honest, you were one minor mishap from having a breakdown. You couldn’t though; you couldn’t break down. Not here, not now. You needed to be happy, you were always happy, people only ever saw you when you were happy, you couldn’t be sad or cry, you couldn’t let people see you like that. How long had it been since someone had last seen you that vulnerable? Years, that much was certain, but just how many? 5? 10? More? Did it even matter anymore? Your job was to take care of others, that’s all that mattered. Take care of others, make sure they were okay, it didn’t matter if you had a moment to breathe, all that mattered was taking care of others. Well… you knew that wasn’t true. Logically you knew that wasn’t true, but that didn’t stop your brain from thinking it over and over again. It didn’t stop the guilt when you were curled up in the cargo hold sobbing your eyes out and it didn’t stop the vulnerability from scaring you.
     Taking another deep breath, you tried to calm your mind, internally cringing when Ace came bounding up to you, his usual smile plastered on his face.
     “Y/n! Just who I wanted to see! I wanted to…” Ace trailed off, staring at you thoughtfully.
     “Wanted what, Ace? Did you manage to perfect that ability you’ve been working on? Come on, let’s head up to the deck so you can show me.” you offered, putting a hand on his arm, turning towards the deck.
     “No, that’s… that can wait. Where were you going?” Ace asked, concern written across his features. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but something seemed… off with you, something in your eyes just looked wrong.
     “Me? Nowhere in particular, just kind of roaming around bo-” “don’t lie to me, Y/n. I know you, I know when you’re lying. What’s wrong?” Ace cut you off, giving you a stern look. You could feel your chest tightening as you held back the tears, your breath catching in your throat as you tried to swallow the sobs.
     “W-what do you mean? I-I’m fine. You should know b-by now that I don’t r-really get up-upset.” you said, forcing the words out and the tears back.
     “Don’t give me that bullshit, Y/n. I know something’s wrong, I can see it in your eyes and hear it in your voice. Come on, I care about you, please, talk to me.” Ace said, giving you a soft look, forcing you to look at you the moment you attempted to turn away from him, “please. I don’t want to see you upset. And not because you’re always happy, but because it means that something has been eating at you for long enough to kill your smile.” you could feel your body tremble as you frantically shook your head. It was becoming harder and harder to hold things back.
     “N-no. I’m fine, I’m always fine, there’s nothing wrong. I just n-need to try harder, that’s all. I j-just need t-to…” you bit your lip, wrapping your arms around yourself, barely managing to hold things together. You couldn’t break down. Not here, not now; not where so many people could see you.
     Ace looked at you sadly, picking you up so you wouldn’t fall to your knees. He knew that look. He knew that look, because he’d had that look before. Trying so hard to hold it together, to keep himself from crying, to continue to be strong. Feeling his warm arms carrying you, you buried your face in his chest. You couldn't let anyone else see you like this. Maybe if your face was against his chest, they’d just assume you were asleep in his arms. After a couple of minutes, Ace nudged his door open, closing the door behind him and sitting on the bed with you.
     “Hey, it’s okay. Whatever’s going on, it’s okay. You can talk to me. Or, if you don’t want to talk, you can just… I don’t know, cry or something. I promise.” His words were the final straw, tears starting to pour down your cheeks as you curled into a ball, crying into your knees. You barely felt his arm around you as you sobbed into your knees, unable to hold it back anymore, unable to keep yourself together. Even still, you couldn’t let him actually see you crying, couldn’t let him see your tears as you stayed tightly curled up. Hearing your sobs, seeing you shaking, that was bad enough, but you couldn’t let him see you so… helpless, so vulnerable.
     Ace lightly pulled you closer, managing to maneuver you into his lap as he wrapped his arms around you. He knew what it was like, crying to yourself, shutting everyone and everything out, refusing to show his true emotions for fear that it somehow made him weak.
     “It’s okay, cry all you need, I’m right here. I’ll stay here with you.” Ace said softly, stroking your hair as he held you. After a minute or two, he gently pulled at your arms, trying to uncurl you from your protective ball. While he knew the need to hide from the world, he wanted you to be able to trust him, to know that it was okay to be vulnerable with him.
     “Come on, beautiful, let me actually hold you properly, I want your arms around me too.” he said, attempting to coax you out of your protective ‘shell’. Maybe if you thought it was for him, you’d be more willing to let him hold you, to let yourself cry into his shoulder, to be open and vulnerable with him. “I promise, it’s okay, you can cry in front of me, you don’t have to smile if you’re not happy.” uncurling slightly, you buried your face in his chest once more. You still wouldn’t let him see your tears, but you wouldn’t deny that having someone hold you was comforting. Having someone tell you that it was okay was comforting.
     You weren’t entirely sure how long you sat there crying, only that when you stopped, you and Ace were both covered in salty tears, his hand running soothingly up and down your back.
     “Feel better now?” Ace asked softly, giving you a soft, sympathetic smile as you looked up at him. Your eyes were bloodshot, your cheeks red and tear stained, and your breathing was still irregular, but you couldn’t deny that you did, admittedly, feel better.
     “Yeah, I kinda do. I… I guess I should thank you.” you said softly, taking a deep breath as you tried to steady your breathing once more.
     “It’s no problem, I get it. Sometimes you just… need to cry. But listen, if you ever need to cry again, don’t be afraid to come to me, it’ll probably make you feel a hell of a lot better if you have someone there for you.” Ace said with a small smile, wiping away the few tears that were left.
     “I… I’m not making any promises, but I’ll try.” you said softly, finally steadying your breathing.
     “Thanks. Come on, let’s go see if Thatch has any snacks hidden away, I’m… I usually get hungry after I… uh… after I get particularly emotional.” Ace said, rubbing the back of his neck. You nodded, admittedly feeling rather hungry and fatigued.
     “Yeah, a snack and a nap sound really good right now.” you said, standing up and heading towards the kitchen with Ace. You couldn’t let anybody see you cry, couldn’t let anyone see you vulnerable… well, anybody but Ace. Maybe, from time to time, it would be okay if Ace saw you cry.
Everyone's Fate Is Up To The Saints, Except Hers - Tolya Yul-Bataar
Prompt: “If you wish to keep your fingers, I’d take your hands off her.”
Warnings: Canon Compliant Threat
This is really just a drabble but what can ya do.
Not proofread because "no beta we die like men"
Had anyone asked, Tolya would have made it very clear that he 'never doubted her for a moment', that 'her capability was easily beyond that of the task at hand' and he knew, given the opportunity, 'she would've likely taken it on alone'. But Sturmhond, in a brief moment of clear insight, had drawn the conclusion that Tolya would have been very little help carrying out his duties if his mind had been following someone out on the mission. Waiting, wondering and worrying were three things not very conducive with carrying out duties to their requirement. So Sturmhond sent the both of them. No one questioned him, everyone else because he is the captain, but Tamar because she held the same knowledge that Sturmhond had based his call on: her twin for all his openness and cheer, was not letting on quite how deep the river of his care flowed when it came to one particular crewmate.
Tumblr media
The she in question, had picked up a pace while Tolya had been somewhat lost in his thoughts.
"Falling behind there sesh?" You ask, turning around with a wicked grin, continuing to walk in the direction you both were headed, but now watching Tolya instead of the path. Walking backwards was something you had gotten very good at with the years of sword training, if you lean to step back with balance enough times, learning to follow the pattern is easy. Yet now, it was certainly more to show off than for practical use.
"You're still not using that correctly," Tolya smiled, an abundance of laughter in his voice. His shadow was being cast by a far off light and the distance made the silhouette looking deceivingly small, compared to the reality. Tolya was just as tall as he was handsome, which is to say more so than anyone really hard the right to be.
"Well if you gave in and told me the word I am looking for," you tease, the sentence hung in the air, feeling unfinished and incomplete. But the years have taught Tolya that sometimes you spoke in half, and it was up to the one hearing the words to decide if it was their turn.
"I will not teach you words in Shu just so you can mock me," he means the words he is saying but his tone is far from mean.
"I'm not mocking you," you defend. "I'm attempting to describe you."
"Describe me in your own language," he pulls his graze away, hoping that maybe if he stops staring, you might start looking where you're going, but to no avail.
"So you'll read me poetry in a language I do not know, but you shall not teach it to me?"
"Not when I know your interest lies in different intent, if you wish to understand the poem I'll happily explain it-" he is suddenly silence by a quiet and quick whistle, a signal that stops him in his tracks.
You look on edge, looking around the dim lit street with such concentration and apprehension that Tolya notices how small it makes you look, the fear. He isn't used to seeing you look afraid.
"Sorry," you say pulling yourself back in, raning it back and composing yourself. "I didn't mean to interrupt you when it's about poetry."
"I don't take it personally," he says. "You know Tamar well enough."
"Exactly, I try to let you talk about it as much as possible when there is no one to tell you to stop," the comment is offhand and absentminded, you hadn't meant much by it. It was a truth, and you did not choose to shy from the truth often, but it wasn't something you had meant to declare in any kind of way. Yet the look in Tolya's eyes makes you run the words back, trying to find the secret of the universe, the strangely powerful compliment that had to be hidden in the words you'd spoken without a second thought.
"Thank you," he says, his voice so soft, it hits like whisper.
"There's no need, there are few ways to show someone how you matter to them, and this is mine," if you had to break it down, the moments before, the reasons that this moment unfolds, you could lay out each factor in pieces. The light being so low. The quietness being so rare that sound is a welcome visitor and therefore can lull into a false sense of security. Maybe even your own foolishness, having not turned around despite your previous scare. But if you were honest with yourself, truly honest, it was not your ego or your environment that betrayed you in this small moment. It was your heart. Had you not been searching for something tangible in the unspoken distance between the two of you, there was no way someone could have gotten close enough to place a blade into the small of your back before you reached for your weapon.
"I wouldn't try it," the blade is pushed closer as you move for the weapon, the voice is dark and quiet, but the accent isn't from around here, and there's a gruffness that shows the man's age.
"I am guessing you are exactly who we are looking for," you reply. Tolya reached for his own blade the moment the assailant had stepped out of the dark, he holds it tight and his eyes are fixed over your shoulder. "We aren't here for a fight."
"Tell that to your friend," the man replies.
"Tolya," you say calmly. Tolya is reasonable, Tolya is smart and above all Tolya knows better than most, much better than his twin, when there's not a need for a fight. But he doesn't look willing to backdown.
"Perhaps I might be more inclined to step down if you remove the blade from my friends back," Tolya says slowly.
A hand grips your shoulder tight, and the blade moves from your spine to your side. A much more defendable position, but a still a threat. "Better?" The man asks.
"If you wish to keep your fingers, I’d take your hands off her.”
You watch him and your heart, against your practiced calm, races in your chest and his eyes flicker to meet yours. It dawns on you why he hasn't calmed the situation, why he is defensive and not quite like his normal self. He senses your confusion, your fear and he is not used to that in you. He isn't paying attention to the man's heartbeat or his emotions because he is still fixed on you. And that realisation makes your heart jump in a way you should know better than to let it do, and Tolya feels it. "He won't repeat himself," you tell the man, and he drops the blade to his side. "We were sent to get you, alive was the preference."
"Who sent you?" The man asks.
"Sturmhond," Tolya explains, listening to his heart now, sensing the fear, the anger, the loss. "We are here to help." Tolya's expression softens, he has been in the world and really seen enough of it to know that there's danger in the most unexpecting of places, but one of the many things about him that is never unsurprising, is how he still sees the opportunity for kindness and grace amongst them.
Sturmhond stares at the two of them and is quick to dismiss Tolya, who walks out on the deck and is soon shoulder to shoulder with Tamar.
"You seem tense brother," she muses, eager to hear what had happened.
"I shouldn't have gone," he thinks aloud. Tamar frowns.
"How did you come to that ridiculous conclusion?" She asks, pulling at a piece of the bread she is eating.
"Because it was my presence that made her vulnerable," he explains. "She was scared, I've not seen her scared before."
"Are you sure it was fear, and not anxiety?" Tamar asks nonchalantly. "Besides, Everyone's fate is up to the saints, is it not?"
"Not hers," Tolya says without pausing to think. Tamar gives him a side glance and he shoves her shoulder.
"Not hers?" Tamar echoes. "Not if you can help it."
Not Quite Famous- TDI X Reader (Chapter Five)
If You Haven’t Read: Four
"Okay, this is so-way-beyond bad. I'm out of fake tanner already." Lindsay whines, telling Gwen and I her dilemma. I looked down from my bunk bed as I was reading my book. "Whoa, that's tragic, Lindsay." Gwen sarcastically comments. "Now, I have to actually like suntan, in the sun." The blonde complains, "Do you realize how shriveled and wrinkly that can make your skin?" She sounds distressed as she gets up and goes over to Gwen, "Oh, you totally do." She frowns. My jaw slacks open in shock. Does this girl really not have common sense or is this a joke that only she's in on?
"All right, campers, enough beauty sleep. Time to show us what you're made of!" Chris announces over the P.A. after loudly blaring an alarm.
I sigh, placing my book down, jumping off my bed. I fix my clothes, turning to Gwen. "I wonder what stupid thing we're doing today." I smirk and she chuckles, agreeing. "Totally, at least we're actually rested for this one." She points out, getting up as well to change into her daily clothes.
"True, I'll see you wherever we're meeting." I nudged her gently, walking away not realizing I made her blush from the short interaction.
We all sat by this stage on bleachers, Gophers on one side, Bass on the other. "Are we gonna see a musical?" Lindsay questions what's going on with the stage. I roll my eyes. "I love musicals, especially the ones with singing and dancing." She clasps her hands together and I shake my head, sighing because of her stupidity. I look over to see Gwen making her way over to us and I wave her down. "Gwen! I saved you a spot!" I grin, she sits down. "Thanks." She blushes, Cody unfortunately comes over and sits on the opposite side of me.
Behind the three is Heather, glaring down at Gwen in annoyance.
Trent also decides to sit with us but he sits next to Gwen who doesn't know that the boy has feelings for her, and is flirting. Cody smiles at me, as usual and I awkwardly ignore him, thanking the gods when Chris starts speaking. "Welcome to our brand new, deluxe state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheater." He greets us, showing off the stage.
"Okay, this weeks challenge is a summer camp favorite, a talent contest." He says and I frown at the announcement but Owen of course cheers like he does for every single thing we get told. "Yes! Awesome!" He shouts.
"Each team has 8 hours to pick their three most talented campers. These three will represent them in the show tonight. Sing, dance, juggle. Anything goes as long as it's legal." He makes eye contact with Duncan, also motioning to him so he knows. Duncan snaps in disappointment.
"You'll be judged by our resident talent scout, former D.J V.J and rap legend Grand Master Chef who will show his approval via the Chef-O-Meter." He points up and something dings a few times. "The team that loses will send one camper home tonight. Good luck." He walks away, I take a deep breath. Three people means I don't have to try out for some talent so I could really care less about who they pick.
Gwen and I stand up together, and we go back to our cabins picking spots to do the judging.
We sit on our cabin's porch, Heather in front of us wearing a whistle around her neck and holding a clipboard. Blowing into the whistle she speaks up. "Okay, I'm the team captain, so here's how it's going to work." She says with authority. "Wait, who said you were team captain?" Gwen questions, holding a book in her arms. "She did. Just now." Lindsay acts as if that was obvious. We knew Heather picked herself but the team didn't agree to it.
"Lindsay, Beth and I took a vote and I won." The mean girl smiles. "Threatening them to vote for you isn't exactly democratic." Gwen explains and Trent comes over with a muffin in hand. "Hey, snagged you an extra muffin." He whispers, Gwen smiles. "Oh, thank you but [Name] already gave me hers as an extra, sorry." She rubs the back of her head. "Oh, no problem." He takes it back, holding it to his chest.
"Trent, you're cool with me leading this project, aren't you?" Heather asks him. "Right on, go for it." He says.
"Good, Beth, Lindsay and I will be the judges." She proudly states. "Whatever." Gwen sighs and I raise a brow at the whole interaction.
Now one by one each person shows off their talent of who wants to even show it off. Owen's first, drinking a whole liter of soda. "Are you gonna audition?" Trent turns to Gwen, "Doubtful." She replies. "You should be in this, Trent, you play an instrument." I remind him and I can tell he got annoyed from me being there but oh well. "True!" Gwen nods, looking up at me. "Are you going to do anything? Didn't you say you play the drums?"
"No," I nervously laugh, "I did say that but I'm not auditioning." The only things I know how to play on the drums are from my embarrassing metal loving past. And I am far from being that person. "I'm sure it would've been awesome but I get it." She leans back on me since I'm sitting behind her on the stairs just one above hers.
Owen starts burping the ABC's, the guys all root for the guy as most of the girls look disgusted. "Yes!" Owen punches the air. "That was excellent, man." Trent high fives him, Heather scoffs. "Well, you're not going to do that in this contest. That's disgusting." She exasperates.
"Do you know how hard it is to burp the entire alphabet in one go?" Trent stands up for the bigger blond boy who ends up ruining it by bending over. "I can also toot Beethoven Fifth."
"No! No, no, no." The girls try to shield themselves. "Owen." Lindsay whines, Gwen starts to walk away.
"Where are you going?" Heather integrates her. "Anywhere that's not here." She carries on with where she was heading.
We move on from whatever that was and Heather shows us her ballet moves, wearing a light pink leotard and tu-tu. We all clap at the end. "Thank you." Everyone continues to clap and she looks over at her minions, clearing her throat. "Oh, I vote for Heather to be in the contest!" The blonde one out of the two raises her hand. "I second that." Beth agrees. "Guys, that's so sweet. Okay, so I guess I'm in. Why doesn't everyone take five?" She disbands everyone. "Except you [Name]! Wait right there!" Heather calls after me, I scrunch my nose in confusion but do as I'm told, leaning against the porch railing as she talks to Lindsay about something.
She gives the girl a walkie talkie then shoves her away.
"What did you need me for?" I quiz as she walks up to me. "I thought about what you said. I want to be friends. Real friends." She smiles, I glance around to see if this is some sort of joke since we're alone. "I'm serious." She folds her arms. "Okay." I shrug, going to head back inside the cabin. "Wait, that's it?" She exclaims loudly and I snicker. "We're friends now, what else do you want? A ceremony declaring it to everyone?" I joke, she stays silent for a moment. "I don't know, I just thought there was more to this."
I shake my head. "Nope, just acting normal. Can I go now?" I ask and she only nods in return.
I ended up joining the group by sitting on the picnic tables as Izzy did her audition. "I call this the dance!... Of the Rattlesnake!" She dances getting in Owen's face while making a noise, the bigger boy actually looks hypnotized.
Then there was Beth, Lindsay and Heather joined us in watching more of the auditions. The shorter girl is twirling fire boutons. "Are you sure this is safe?" Heather gasps and the four of us lean back when she gets too close. "It's okay, I've been practicing." She throws them in the air but she runs when it starts to fall down and we all hide behind the tables.
"I kind of missed the catching class." We all crowd the burnt hole in the ground.
"Uh, guys the bush is on fire." Trent points. Justin comes out and extinguishes the fire out wearing sunshades. Leshawna brings him a bottle of water, for some reason he rips his shirt off while drinking the water. Everyone drools over him while I stand there not understanding what's going on.
"Okay, so I think it's me, Trent and Justin. Any objections?" Heather asks, everyone shakes their head and I just walk away. What's his talent though?
I sit in the cabin on Gwen's bed and start to read my book once again. I also changed into my bathing suit since it was getting hotter outside and I thought about going to the water.
I hear talking outside the door then it opens to reveal Gwen.
"Hey, I'm going to the water, wanna join?" she smiles, turning around to change, I stare down at my now closed book. "Mmm, I might not swim but of course I'll join you."I place the book down, averting my eyes from her as she finishes changing and we leave the cabin.
"You're joining here?" Heather scoffs. "Yeah, I'll see you later, darling!" I wave her goodbye jokingly using a fake British accent. "You two are friends?" Gwen turns to me and I shrug. "Sort of." I question it, myself. "Oh so you do charity now?" She jokes and I laugh. "I've been doing Charities for ever now, I got you, remember?" I tease and she gasps, playfully pushing me and we both burst into laughter.
We sit down on the dock and calm ourselves, watching the moves of the water.
"Sometimes I just need to get away from everyone here, you know?" She sighs, "I mean it's like they're all driving me crazy." She pauses then smiles at me. "Well, almost all of them." She blushes and I mentally gasp.
Does Gwen have a thing for me? No, I could be imagining things. The sun is bright today. My thoughts are cut short when the dock starts shaking. We look behind us to see Cody and Owen running down. "Cannonball!!!" Owen shouts, the two jumping and the water splashes mainly Gwen. "Ugh! I hate this place!" She storms off.
"Nice going you idiots." I shake my head. "Yeah, nice going guy.."
I huff, leaving the place as well and going towards the bathrooms. I hear crying from inside one of the stalls so I hesitantly head over to it. "Hey, is everything okay in there?" I ask a bit loudly so the person knows it's for them. "Mm, no but-" they sniffled. "I'll be fine, I guess." From the voice it sounds like Courtney. "Want to talk about it?" I offer, backing away from the door once I hear the person unlocking it and then coming out.
"Oh, it's you." She seems disappointed so I apologize.
"What's going on, pumpkin?" I go over to the sink, washing my hands and face. "Don't call me that and you're on the other team I'm not telling you anything." She folds her arms, her tears air drying on her face. "I get that but I can still be a friend to vent to." I look at her through the mirror, smiling.
She doesn't say anything, obviously considering it. "I'm sorry-" "Don't apologize, you're thinking of what's best for your team." I turn around and go up to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Good luck with the talent contest." I close my eyes smiling before heading out of the bathroom.
I join my team in sitting on the bleachers, being next to Gwen as usual.
"It's the T.D.I. Talent Extravaganza!" Chris shouts. "Welcome to the very first camp Wawanakwa talent contest, where six campers will showcase their mad skills and desperately try not to humiliate themselves. First up for the Screaming Gophers is Justin!" Chris declares, we clap and cheer for our teammate, and as he performs it's just him posing a bunch of different ways and then ending it with him leaning back in a chair and dumping water on himself.
"There are two syllables for hot, "Jus "" and "Tin." Man, that guy is just so hot I could kiss him." Owen's eyes go wide from what he just said. "Because he's a good teammate. Dah, why'd I say that?" He beats himself up.
"I don't see why people gawk at Justin. He's a man who uses his attractiveness to get this. Plus as I said. He's a man." [Name] rolls her eyes.
"Okay, I don't know what that was, but dang you got some moves, dude." Chris puts his thumb up and the Chef score moves pretty high. Eight out of Ten."First up for the Killer Bass, make some noise for the big guy, DJ!" He calls and DJ des some ribbon dance, but gets caught on the pink ribbon a few times.
"Dainty and Masculine, let's see what Grandmaster Chef thinks." It was only two points. "Not much." DJ frowns and sadly walks off the stage.
"So, with two down and four acts to go, it's the Screaming Gophers screaming ahead. Next on deck... Trent! Take it away my bro." The boy comes on stage with his guitar, sitting down on a stool. "This one goes out to someone special here at camp." I wince, and hide my face knowing it's for Gwen who does not reciprocate the same feelings. She acts oblivious, not knowing it's for her either. I zone out through the whole song, not wanting to cringe out.
Chris runs out at the last strum, "Nice work, I'm liking your style, dude. So does the Grandmaster Chef." He got half score and for some reason waves at the camera for a really long time.
"All right, quit hogging my light, buddy." Chris shoves him and I try not to laugh. "Three down and three to go, and the Killer Bass are totally sucking so far. Let's hear it for Bridgette."She doesn't come out right away and then shows up doing a handstand. Burping and then throwing up, projectile vomiting. "I'm hit! I'm hit!" Owen shouts.
She continues and hits Katie and Sadie who scream, Katie throwing up as well. And then hits most of my team with her vomit. Luckily Gwen and I didn't get hit.
The poor girl slips and falls off stage and onto tyler. "Hey, puke on your own boyfriend!" Lindsay shouts at the girl who was just sick all over the place. "On your own what, Lindsay?" Heather questions angrily, hands on her hips. "I didn't say boyfriend." The blonde back tracks.
Chris plugs his nose, coming back out on stage. "Clean up on aisle three, four, five and six. In the meantime, we'll take a short break to hose the joint down." He says.
"Going home won't be so bad. I could always work at the surf shack." Bridgette frowns, wiping a tear.
"Welcome back to the T.D.I talent Extravaganza! Okay, so in a strange turn of events, Bridgette's chunk-blowing fest registered two thumbs up by Grandmaster Chef. But it's not enough to pull ahead of the Screaming Gophers who hold the lead with Trents love song. So without further delay here she is for the leaders... Heather!" Chris announces and the girl walks out on stage, sitting on a stool.
"Originally, I was going to dance for you but instead I want to celebrate team spirit with a collaboration." She holds out a familiar book, I tilt my head. She gently shakes it a bit, staring at Gwen. "She wouldn't." Gwen whispers after gasping and I sat there in shock. "No fucking way." I shake my head. "So with words by Gwen, performance by me, enjoy." She clears her throat before reading it off.
"Okay, so I tried just being her friend, but she's just so cute. If they were trying to find the perfect person to distract me with her they got the right one, McGorgeous. We just totally connect. She's pretty much the only person I trust and relate to here and I know it's a cliche but I love how different we are but also so similar. She's so nice to everyone! Even Heather."
Gwen slides off the bleacher and runs off, I furrow my eyebrows in anger. "Thank you," Heather closes the book and makes eye contact with me. I flip her off then run after Gwen.
"People thought I was mean to Gwen. Whatever. All I needed was four votes against Justin. Lindsay and Beth were easy. Izzy's just crazy and Owen, piece of cake." She looks at her nails.
Owen's eating a piece of cake giggling. "Piece of cake." He hums.
I finally catch up with Gwen who was holding herself. "Hey-"
"Could you please save me the embarrassment for right now." She cries out, not looking at me and I frown at the sight.
"But-"
"Please, we can talk later on." She pleads and walks away and I decide to listen to her, plopping down on a tree stump to think about everything that just went down.
"Kudos to you all for an incredible night of entertainment, music, drama, barfing." We all hold our marshmallows and now Gwen is avoiding me so I stand next to Leshawna, staring down at the white fluff in my hands.
"There's only one marshmallow on this plate. Justin you reminded us all that looks matter a lot. And Heather you're full of surprises, but reading another chick's diary out loud to the whole world? Man, that is whack. No kidding, that's really messed up dude." Chris talks in a serious tone which was weird to see since he likes the drama that radiates off of us but even he can admit that what Heather did was extremely wrong.
"Oh, please, just give me my marshmallow already." Heather rolls her eyes. "Justin, I personally think this is very wrong, but tonight hotness just wasn't enough. The last Marshmallow goes to Heather." Chris says with disappointment laced in his voice.
"Time to catch the boat of losers, bruh." Justin sadly walks away. "Later, bruh." Heather waves to him, eating her marshmallow.
"If that evil little cow thinks she's getting away with this she has another thing coming." Gwen states.
"Befriending Heather was the worst move I have made all summer, and it's just begun." [Name] huffs.
The camera catches Gwen knocking on the door to reveal Harold. "You mentioned you brought a red ant farm with you, correct?"
"Yes." He nods.
Next clip is Heather running out of the cabin screaming with ants all over her.
"Sweet dreams everyone." Gwen giggles, closing her eyes to go to sleep.
