I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything

He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???

Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)

What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it

Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird

I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

The Space Between - Lucanis X Rook Fanfic

He stood at the counter with his sleeves rolled up and focused on preparing breakfast. The aroma of fresh bread and sizzling eggs filled the air, while Rook worked beside him, sneaking glances at the handsome assassin who had turned out to be a rather talented cook. Despite all his troubles, Lucanis looked at peace in moments like this and it was endearing.

Rook had been teasing him about his precise chopping techniques when a puff of flour escaped from the bowl she was mixing, settling across her face and making her sneeze. She laughed, the sound bright and free, but he turned to her, his expression softening at the sight.

“Hold still,” he murmured, grabbing a clean cloth. He reached out, his movements slow and gently dabbed at the flour on her cheek. Rook’s laughter faded, replaced by a sudden, fragile silence between them. Their eyes met, and for a moment, everything else fell away.

Lucanis’s hand stilled, the cloth held just inches from her skin. His gaze flicked to her lips, and before he could stop himself, he leaned in. It was a gentle, hesitant kiss, barely a brush of his mouth against hers as if he were testing the waters of something he’d long feared to want. The warmth of her lips sent a shiver through him, and for the briefest of moments, time seemed to pause.

The kitchen door rattled, causing him to pull back abruptly. His face flushed as he turned back to the stove, resuming his cooking as if nothing had occurred. Rook stood there, stunned, her heart racing and her mind struggling to process the fact that he had finally given in to the pull between them.

She touched her lips, a dazed smile beginning to form. Lucanis didn’t look at her, but she noticed his hands trembling slightly as he scrambled the eggs.

“She is sweet. Spicy,” Spite commented, curiosity threading through the demon's voice. “We want. this?!”

Lucanis swallowed hard, ignoring the way his pulse thundered in his ears. He had no idea what had compelled him to kiss her, but the sensation of her mouth on his lingered, and he knew he would never forget it. If he did, Spite would surely remind him.
