I read a Defenders collection once years ago, and I still remember the proto defenders story in the Sub-Mariner (if only because of the three characters). I haven't read it in ages, but I remember (rather vaguely, mind you) the time these three teamed up:

The Hulk, The Silver Surfer and Namor. Three outcasts hated by humanity, but who never deserve hate. These are three of Marvel's most tragic characters, and it's legitimately a shame these three didn't get much to do with each other after this. I could read about these three all day.

hello!! I just found your page recently and I’ve been loving all of your Fallen Order content. I just wanted to ask, what do you think your favorite part of the game is? No pressure to answer, but I figured I’d throw the ask in :)

Ah, starting with the tough questions I see. I love so many things about Fallen Order, but if I had to sit down and pick out just one thing, I’d say my favorite part is the writing. Every character feels alive and fully realized. They feel like real people. There are little conversations that build character rather than just progress the plot. Even the background stormtroopers who just have a line or two of dialogue aren’t one note - some are anxious and questioning orders, some are zealously devoted to the Empire, some are shouting threats, one declares that he doesn’t particularly care about the Empire - he just just thinks his job is fun. The tragedy of what happened to Trilla cuts straight to the bone. Tragedy is surprisingly hard to write. It’s very easy to be too heavy handed and melodramatic. Fallen Order has the grand, sweeping tragedy of the massacre of the Jedi, but it focuses on the smaller personal tragedies of Cal, Cere and Trilla - how the overall tragedy effected them - and the writing hits so much harder because of that. There’s not just tragedy - there’s humor, hope, learning to trust again, moving forward instead living in the past. And it’s handled and balanced beautifully.

Honestly, I can and have gushed for hours about the writing of Fallen Order, so I’ll pause my enthusiastic flailing here before this turns into a ten thousand word essay. Thank you for asking!

something about how max is the most imperfect hero not only in the overarching moral dilemma of do you stop bad things if it could lead to worse things but also little things like looking through dana's trash and or adding her name to the "was here" graffiti. even before the events of lis dropping chloe after the move. i feel like she is a perfect representation of how insecurity can make you selfish. she has to let go of that to be a better hero for arcadia.
