I did choose to do this request first cause it felt fitting for pride month (I say posting this within the last 10 minutes) but I also realised there's no way to make something noticeably ace without announcing it - so this just comes across more as soft cuddles <3 but I still think it's sweet

He’s much warmer than I thought he’d be, considering he hasn’t had a pulse, or blood, or a body for very long at all, only about a week as of now. Yet he’s already mostly a natural with it, only needing a gentle reminder every now and then to breathe compared to when he was freshly - fresher out of the game and needed a nudge every couple of minutes to remember. 

It’s perfect for times like this though, just the two of us lying together taking the time to be in each other's presence and it’s hardly surprising that he’s stuck to me like glue knowing what he’s been through. I can’t help but become more enamoured with him through it all as well, while he’s not entirely like how I imagined his character would’ve been like if this kind of thing happened, if anything I’d say… he’s better. Cuddly, soft and sleepy like you’d assume from how he’s shown in-game but also just so, so much sweeter and sassier than he was shown. It’s charming.

“I didn’t but thank you for the reminder sweetheart.”

It feels comfortable calling him that now, It wasn’t immediately and he respected that, now I really couldn’t help falling for him. Right now I can feel myself slipping and falling in love with him more and more, he knows what he’s doing I’m sure of it but despite knowing that it’s impossible to stop myself. The smallest things like how he intertwined his fingers around mine while I hold the switch, resting his head on my chest. Even how his hair rustles on my chest with how he’s laying on top of me is downright addictive, driving me deeper and deeper into his spell.

“I’m walking over to them, I know you can see our farmer moving.” 

“Mhm, but I know you aren’t focused on the game.”

Where do I begin to describe how he’s been acting? That he’s been extra soft tonight? That he’s been even more gentle than usual with how he’s holding my hands and resting on me? That he’s stolen the softest clothes I own to wear right now? That since he’s started washing his hair with my conditioner his hair is so silky and fluffy and good melling that I just want to bury my face in- He knows exactly what I’m struggling to say out loud, his little giggle spelling it out instantly. 

“Acting like your partner?”

“Acting like your boyfriend?”

“...Wouldn’t any way you act be acting like my boyfriend?”

“I-!”

Never in my life would I have thought something like that would slip from my mouth that easily, making him stop breathing. And for once? It makes me forget to remind him to too.

I just wanna say bc I KNOW you're somewhere on tumblr, to the teenage girl who attended Take Your Kid To Work Day at an office building in Ontario, Canada circa 2013 and had a conversation with a middle aged woman in which you showed her your Black Veil Brides fanart and fanfics and ship content and told her about different fanfic tropes including a/b/o verse bc she happened to know who Panic! at The Disco and Fallout Boy were and thus you felt the need to show her your bandblr ship art, that was my fucking mother and I had to clarify all that to her including looking my mother in the eye and trying to explain a/b/o verse without sounding like a lunatic.

the implications of ford pulling this photo out of his trenchcoat in the last episode you guys… THE IMPLICATIONS.

look at the state of this thing!! look at its rips! the stain in the bottom right corner! it’s dog-eared, the color is faded, the paper has browned… he’s kept this photo of them since they were kids. through all the years he stubbornly swore to hold a grudge, all the years he and stan never spoke, he kept this photo.

and we can assume he probably didn’t have it dimension-hopping, since i find it hard to believe he would’ve had it on him when he initially got sucked in, but ford pulling it out of his trenchcoat here!! implies!! that he had been CARRYING IT AROUND WITH HIM for some time after he got back!

imagine if he found it in some of his old stuff the night he returned, after punching and yelling at stan, after being sure to keep as much emotional distance between them as possible, and he finds this photo. would he have stared down at it? for a little while? smoothed the creases out on his desk? thumbed the torn, loved edges while he mourned a simpler time? then pocketed the thing to always have it with him?

i dunno. maybe i’m looking too far into it. but i can’t help but wonder if ford kept it because, against all his big dreams and ambitions, deep down he always wondered what his life might have been like if he sailed away with his brother when they were teenagers. never able to throw it away because doing so would symbolically destroy the last remnants of a childhood fantasy, the last piece of him that remains young and hopeful of a future at his brother’s side.

sometimes while i think about that while a lot of adults did not treat me very well as a kid i also get a lot of 'in hindsight this person was so good to me and i didnt even realize it until now' as an adult. today i was thinking about how the first anime convention i ever went to was when i was 10 and i asked the man working the manga cafe what manga was/what a good place to start was (because the con was very overstimulating for me and i had gotten lost) and he asked how old i was before recommending yotsuba and asking if i wanted any water or something to eat. its really simple but theres a lot of bad things that couldve happened or he could've been careless in his recommendation, but instead yotsuba has remained one of my favorite manga for years, and probably a large portion of why i continue to read manga as an adult... i think adults who try to involve kids in the world safely/kindly even in little ways make so much more of a difference than they ever really know.

hey btw if you're in the USA at  2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Oct. 4, they're testing the emergency broadcast system. your phone is probably going to make a really loud noise, even if it's on silent. there's a backup date on the 11th if they need to postpone it.

if you're not in a safe situation and have an extra phone, you should turn that phone completely off beforehand.

additionally, if you're like me, and are easily startled; i recommend treating it like a party. have a countdown or something. be surrounded by your loved ones. take the actions you personally need to take to make yourself safe.

i have already seen mockery towards any person who feels nervous about this. for the record, it completely, completely valid to have "emergency broadcast sounds" be an anxiety trigger. do not let other people make fun of you for that. emergency sounds are legitimately engineered to make us take action; those of us with high levels of anxiety and/or neurodivergence are already pre-disposed to have a Bad Time. sometimes it is best to acknowledge that the situation will be triggering for some, and to prepare for that; rather than just saying "well that's stupid, it's just a test."

"loud scary sound time" isn't like, my favorite thing, but we can at least try to prevent some additional anxiety by preparing for it. maybe get yourself a cake? noise cancelling headphones? the new hozier album? whatever helps. love u, hope you're okay. we are gonna ride it out together.

You and Katsuki have two children. You're in your mid-30s, and Katsuki is in his late 30s. Your oldest child is a 7-year-old boy, and your baby girl is currently 2.

Your son takes after you in almost every way—his hair, eyes, nose, lips, and expression all reflect your features. However, it’s undeniable that he has his father’s essence, too.

His eyes are the only feature he inherited directly from Katsuki, and his personality? An exact mirror of his father’s.

You couldn’t help but be in love with the perfect blend of you and Katsuki in this small child. And, to be honest, the little boy was a Mama’s boy through and through. His whole world seemed to revolve around you, and Katsuki didn’t mind one bit. In fact, he found it amusing to watch you pinch his son’s cheek with a frown, while Hiro stood there with a mock scowl on his face.

"Hiro, enough with the fights. You know better," Katsuki chuckled from the doorway of the kitchen, arms crossed, watching you fuss over your son the same way his own mother had once fussed over him.

"Yes, Mama," Hiro muttered, his backpack still on, eyes cast downward, shoulders slumped. Immediately, your eyes softened as you kneeled down to his level.

"Hiro, no more fighting, okay?" you said gently, taking his tiny hand in yours while tilting his chin up. "If those boys bother you again, Mama will take care of it. Deal?"

Hiro nodded before launching himself into your arms, wrapping his small arms around your neck. Katsuki joined the moment, kneeling down beside you to pull both you and Hiro into a warm embrace.

When Hiro turned five, his world was upended with the arrival of his little sister, Mitsu. She was named after Katsuki’s mother and, in many ways, was a perfect reflection of her father—except for her personality. Mitsu was immediately attached to Katsuki, and their bond was unshakeable from the very beginning.

One late morning, in the midst of rushing to get breakfast ready and wake Hiro for school, you found yourself in a bit of a panic. You were about to run down the hall to wake your son when a burst of giggles interrupted your hurried state.

Turning back, you saw Hiro sitting at the dinner table, grumpily munching on cereal, while Katsuki effortlessly held Mitsu on his hip. "Morning, Mama," Hiro greeted, his expression tired. "Mitsu woke me up today." Mitsu giggled in response.

"I'm sorry, Hiro. Late start," you said, walking over to the table and plopping down beside your son. You smiled at Mitsu. "Hi, baby. Thanks for waking your brother up." You reached your arms out for a hug, but Mitsu buried her face in Katsuki's neck instead.

Katsuki chuckled, then leaned down to kiss your forehead. (You could hear Hiro gagging from the side.) Katsuki slid into his seat at the table, and you noticed he was shirtless.

"Me and Mitsu made chocolate chip pancakes. Want some, Ma?" he asked, nodding toward the plate of pancakes in the middle of the table. You shook your head, your appetite still small from the morning rush.

About half an hour later, you dropped Hiro off at school with a sigh. Katsuki returned shortly after, having dropped Mitsu off at daycare. Both of you made a beeline for the bedroom, and you groaned as you dived back under the covers, sleep quickly overtaking you.

Katsuki joined you soon after, slipping under the sheets, his hands immediately finding their way to your torso. "Let's have a third one, Ma," he said, his voice low as he settled next to you. You smiled softly, pulling the blankets closer. "Kats, let me sleep on it."
