Thinking about Rin Itoshi with a partner who's an oldest sibling.

Well, he didn't even know you had a little sibling at first, since that topic never popped up in your conversations (actually, he probably avoided the topic family altogether). It just happened to slip up during an outing at the mall. You both just passed through a shop you knew your sibling liked, which made you remember their birthday was coming up. So, you grasped the opportunity to buy their gift beforehand to prevent you from forgetting it like you did last year and making your family member mad (again).

"Rinnie, let's stop here!"

"Huh? Why? I don't remember you mentioning you liked this shop before"

So, that answered (a part of) his questions: your relationship was just great. Amazing, even. And that only made him more curious and more anxious to meet them.

The opportunity to actually meet your sibling presents itself in an unsuspected night. It was one of Rin's rare day offs, which you both usually spend cuddling in the couch, eating tons of chocolate (actually it was you eating chocolate and him watching, because he had to follow a strict diet. "You're probably wondering who they are". There you were. Always knowing what he wants without him even needing to utter a word. That was probably one of the reasons your relationship worked so well, Rin thought.

"Yeah"

"They're my little sibling, the one I went to that birthday party last month"

"...ah."

"I don't know why they're crying tho. I hope I can figure it out."

"I'm sure you can"

"C'mon, let's go to couch. They're waiting there" You said, holding the tea in your hands. But, before you both got out at the kitchen, you stopped and turned to him with a smile "Actually, could you please grab some napkins at the bathroom stall? I'm sure I'll need some"

"Sure, no problem"

Then, you both parted ways. While Rin was searching for the damn napkins that Itoshi was sure were actually straight up hiding from him, only your sibling's sniffs and your soothing words filled the house. He gradually heard the crying disappearing though, so you must have done a very good job at comforting your family member.

Rin must have spent a long time searching for the napkins, because at the time he finally got to the living room, he could no longer hear sniffs or hushed whispers.

"Honey? I found the napkins." He said while getting closer to the couch.

When he did get to where you were, he understood why he wasn't hearing anything anymore. No wonder the sniffs disappeared: you and your sibling were both sleeping, with their head in your lap and your hand in their hair, as though you were passing your hand through their locks to soothe the pain they were feeling. You both had calm expressions on your faces (well, as calm as a face of a person who probably spent more than 1 hour crying could be) and the cup of tea sat empty in the table beside the armchair.

"Oh."

Rin looked at the scene in front of him with a sad sparkle in his eyes, wondering how his life would be if Sae was a sibling like you in the past: a caring brother, that wouldn't call him lukewarm and wouldn't say he makes him wanna vomit.

Shaking this thoughts out of his mind since they were going to make him more harm than good and it was no use thinking about Sae now, Rin grabbed the blanket you both use during movie nights and threw it over you and your sibling, looking at the scene one last time before heading towards your shared bedroom, your movie night long forgotten. He wasn't sad though, because what happened today made him be sure of something:

all i can think ab is the unbearable pain that replaces the love in your hearts as time goes on.

you’ve been together for half a year. things were fun at first, but once you decide to move in to help with abby, you start to see the cracks in the foundation.

in this one, reader works two jobs (bc let’s face it, this is unfortunately realistic); teaching from 9-4 and cashiering from 5-8:30. mike doesn’t want you working two jobs and you didn’t want to, but you knew that your salaries combined wouldn’t keep you afloat. abby’s school is expensive, and so is everything else in life. the extra money you get from cashiering gives you guys flexibility. 

every morning at 6:30, monday to friday, you wake up alone. even though you know it’ll probably be empty, you still reach your arm over to run it over mike’s side. it’s always cold and flat, completely untouched. 

you brush this off at first; it's one of the things that comes with him working overnight and you know he needs this job so that he can keep abby. you want that for him and know that love is sacrifice. 

you wake abby up and start getting her ready in between fixing yourself up; brushing her teeth while you brush yours, letting her get a few more minutes of sleep in while you throw on your clothes, guiding her through packing her bag while you make breakfast. by that time, closer to 7:30, mike is finally walking into the house. 

his eyes are hooded and surrounded by dark bags and you can tell he's exhausted from the way he hangs his things up lethargically. he kisses abby, who's running around collecting things, on the head, then ambles over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing along your neck. 

they're soft, gentle actions that make you forget about not being able to do things like this at night. it doesn't matter when you have mornings with him, even if it's only 30 minutes before you have to go. you giggle and reach a hand up to his cheek, kissing him on his other one. 

"missed you," you whisper.

"missed you too," he mumbles back, planting a kiss on your lips before stalking away to ask abby something. 

you all eat breakfast together, and then you're slipping abby's coat over her shoulders before you put on your own. you usher her to the car and give mike one last kiss before you leave, a deep one that you hope he feels all day. when you pull away, you can see the affection sparkling in his eyes, low and tired but expressive nonetheless. 

"i love you," he whispers, his sleepiness masquerading as love-drunkeness. 

"i love you, mike. get some rest, okay?" 

you drop abby off, wishing her well, before you're alone for the next 12 hours. it often drags. at your teaching job, you feel as if it's just passing you buy in waves, everything whizzing past you at light speed. you're aware that you're in front of the kids, but then you just blackout. you're thrown into autopilot, and you do this over and over until your lunch break at 1. you text mike to pass the time.

sometimes it's something silly, like "god i do not get paid enough" or "a kid just ate glue /: send help", to which mike will respond "😂😂😂" or "lol you deserve millions (:". he makes you laugh, and it's enough to help you push through the end of the day. 

he picks up abby from school, asking her all about her day and what she wants for dinner. he'll text you what she says so you know what to expect when you get home, like "meatloaf 🍖🍞 (:" or "chicken alfredo 0: fancy". 

for you, transitioning from teaching to customer service was easy; all you had to do was maintain that same autopilot: smile on, eyes alert, prepared for anything. no one suspected a thing when you could keep up and answer their questions. 

mike helps abby with her homework, scratching his head with the eraser of a pencil when he draws blanks on a math or history question. abby only sighs, telling him about something off-topic. "art class is much more interesting." 

mike starts dinner while you're closing up at work, sweeping the front end of the store and counting down your drawer. he lets abby help sometimes, and they usually have it ready for you by the time you're home at 9. 

abby meets you at the door, and you hug her tight, picking her up and waltzing her back into the house. mike is setting the dining table, greeting you with a sleepy smile and, "the queen has arrived."

you all sit down and eat, and it's another one of those moments where everything feels okay. the last 12 hours didn't matter when you were able to have this at the end of it. 

you tell abby and mike about your day over spaghetti, spilling details about prideful parents and spiteful customers. abby laughs all throughout, asking questions about being a cashier. mike just listens, eyes and heart floating between the two of you. 

you clear the table while mike goes to get ready for work, and a wash of dread passes over you. your brain knows what's happening next. you'll kiss him goodbye, clinging to his hoodie sleeve for a second longer than you should, and then you'll settle down with abby, bathing her and reading her to sleep. then you'll be alone. it will just be you and the screech of infomercials until midnight, and then you'll be off to sleep, snuggling into a pillow that smells like mike. 

you push the feeling away, shaking your head and hands and doing just as you know. there's the kiss, the night routine with abby, and the moment you sit on the couch, surrounded by tv light and the croaking of cicadas. 

mike doesn't text during his shift unless it's an emergency. it makes you sad, but you understand. security requires focus, and you require sleep. 

for a while, this works. it's what you and mike have to do to make ends meet, and while you both think that it'll only get better with more time at it, it doesn't. 

you still wake up alone and go through the same rhythm, but when mike comes in around 7:30, it's not 7:30 anymore. it's 7:39, then 7:45, then 7:58. the latest he's ever been, so late that you're not able to eat with him. he shrugs it off when you mention it, kissing your cheek and retreating to the bedroom to sleep.

you drop abby off as usual, and go to work. work. work. work. 

mike starts missing your lunch break texts, sometimes dozing dangerously close to when abby's school lets out. while your class works, you bitterly stare at your text conversation. your unanswered "shaping america's future is kinda sick" message stares back at you until it's replaced by abby's school calling. your heart drops to your stomach as you step out of the room to take the call, answering the phone with, "is she okay?" 

mike didn't pick her up. she's out at 2:30 and it's 3:30 now, and she's crying and scared because he didn't pick up the phone, and she always calls him first. 

you leave work in a flurry, asking a fellow teacher to take over, and you speed to abby's school, not caring about tickets or police or anything. you only want to get her home.

mike is dashing out of the door when you pull up, wrenching a sobbing abby out of your backseat and clutching her close. "i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'm sorry," he breathes, smoothing her hair and looking up at you with regret etched into every feature on his face.

you try your best to hide your upset, ushering everyone inside before changing into your work clothes. you were going to be late, but you shake it off. abby was home and that was all that mattered. 

"hey," mike reaches out to you when you're on your way out. his fingers graze their way down to your hand, and it makes you wish that you could stay home. "thanks for that. i've just been super tired lately and i overslept and---"

"it's okay, baby," you give him a tight lipped smile and a kiss on the knuckles. "just don't let it happen again." 

it happens again. and again. and again. it happens so many times that abby starts to think mike is forgetting about her, and you don't know how to get that out of her head. she cries about it more and more with each time you have to pick her up. he stops running out to apologize, still asleep inside. 

you rush into the bedroom. he's splayed out over the bed, snoring loudly with his arm hanging over the side. you find an orange pill bottle on his nightstand. an old ambien prescription. 

you argue with him before work sometimes.

"what do you need ambien for?"

"i can't sleep." 

"but every morning, you skip breakfast to sleep."

"i do fall asleep, but i started waking up out of it. i just take the ambien to help me fall again."

"what time do you take it?"

"i don't know, y/n."

"why are you lying to me?"

"i'm not." 

"what time?" you cry, grasping at your chest. a sharp pains thud through your ribcage, and you literally sob. it feels like your heart is tearing in two. "you stare at times, mike. what time do you take the ambien?" 

he doesn't answer you and he doesn't know why. it would be so easy to tell you that he takes it at 9 or 10, and that he believes he'll be able to wake himself up around 2 but he doesn't. he can’t sleep without the ambien. he needs it now because he kept himself up in the early days of this, mind toiling over their situation, the endless reassurance that this would work sending him into insomnia. 

you leave when he doesn't answer, wiping at your watery eyes and runny nose. 

you cashier as a shell of yourself. abby stops asking mike for homework help, and eventually he stops cooking dinner too, trading all that time in for extra sleep after picking her up. you have to explain the situation to your retail store manager, just in case mike forgets again, and start looking after abby more. mike only ever made time to spend with her on the weekends, content with awkward moments over lunch and low energy bickering.

the lunch break texts stop. the dinner texts stop.

he's dressed and ready to leave when you get home these days, prepared to exit as you enter. you don't know what to say as you face each other in the doorway, eyes focused on anything but each other. you don’t even kiss anymore.

"i think abby's asleep already."

you shake your head. "i think she's really sad. she hasn't been coming out of there like she used to. she misses you." 

"i miss her too, of course. i'm just busy." 

"all you do is work, mike," you deadpan, exhausted with him. you never thought you'd ever get to a point where you looked at mike, the sure love of your life, with disdain, but you felt it creep into you ever so slightly. 

"yeah, i know. it fucking sucks, but it's what i have to do to keep abby."

you scoff, scooting past him to take your coat and bag off. "as if you're going to keep her by leaving her at school everyday." it's supposed to be under your breath, but the disdain creeps onto your tongue, bitter and raging, and you say it aloud, to his face. 

his jaw clenches and his brown eyes burn, staring you down with an unrelenting severity. you hunch yourself over, dropping your head and sighing out, "mike, i'm sorry. i didn--" 

he leaves without another word. 

how it got to this, neither of you know. not even the weekends healed anymore. mike caught up on sleep, you caught up on grading, and in your downtime, you avoided each other. for him, it felt easier than being around you. you were irritable all the time, a quick fuse with any word he could think to speak. 

for you, it seemed like it was what he wanted. time away from you, from abby, from everyone; time to be alone and recharge for the only thing he ever did, the only thing that was keeping his sister in his care. 

you didn't even remember what his touch felt like, what he tasted like. the man that you loved had become but a memory, a ghost that passed through your plane. you’re able to imagine his fluffy hair, his perfect smile, his laugh, his rich smell, but none of it mattered. he didn’t feel like yours anymore. 

you suppose it was the same for him, with you existing in the same space but only tangible to him some of the time. he would catch glimpses of your smile, laughing at something on your phone, or talking to abby, meet your eyes when you shuffled back to the bedroom from the bathroom, rimmed in red from crying for the last 30 minutes.

he starts sleeping on the couch, unable to even lay beside you. 

mike does a lot of crying. a lot of screaming into his pillow, wondering why he fucks these things up so badly. you do the same, wondering why you stay in situations that hurt you.

this goes on for longer than you two would like, so long that you don't even celebrate your one-year anniversary.

the day passes without noise, mike sleeping and you working.

TAURTIS.

Taurtis isn't talked about enough. He's genuinely gotten drowned out and it's golly awful!!! Everyone's so focused on Sam and grian and their stuff taurtis gets drowned out.

Taurtis is such an anomaly and he is MORE than just some silly guy who's Sam's best friend. I'd argue he's just as bad or maybe even a tad bit worse. Hear me out.

Straight up at the beginning of the series, no one mentions (outside of like 2 people) that taurtis has killed someone and made it on TV while getting away with it. Bros the first murderer we see in the season revealed and hey, this can imply he's done it before and never gotten caught. Taurtis knows damn well how things are and id argue hes the result behind Sam's behavior. Not Yuki, while she did also heavily influence him, he did a lot more damage.

No one ever mentions ot though because he's just a "silly little guy"

Even from the start Taurtis has been seen making these decisions for Sam but the way they work is making it look like the others independent when I can argue they're both codependent on eachother in a way. Taurtis even convinces and forces the idea of Sam doing things for to a sense someone can see "for his (Sam's) own good" When Sam was in love with Sookie and found out she was into women, he was bummed out, however Taurtis was the one who suggested he could chop her up or get Sam to dress as a girl in which; he even protested at first and kept denying. Taurtis in the beginning had a small weird obsession with when things went wrong; they could resort to "chop chop" It is known and we all talk about Sam and Yuki being a yandere but what about Taurtis being one potentially? I know this can be diminished by the nice treatment Salex (I have a whole another yap session about salex and him and sam) The second Sam said he had no chance with Sookie, Taurtis asked about using force and deceiving to help get Sam what he wants. Also for whatever reason he has a TON of images of Sam on his phone canonically?? Am I the only one who's taking that into acc?

Sam is EASILY one of the most quick-to-influence characters in the series and can easily be manipulated, despite being described as a manipulator himself. And the person who's been with him the most in life and who's been living ALONE with for who knows what time? For Sam to having gone down the rabbit hole he is, the person who'd have tk influence that would have to be Taurtis. He encourages and excuses everything and I'd argue he even partakes in stuff in his own time. There's also the fact he has no problem hurting his own friends as well, he's CONSTANTLY being physical with Sam and he doesn't even care with Stabbing him off a building as a friendly gesture to a sense. There's also the fact he literally doesn't care if someone (coughs SAM) plays dress up with him whenever they want, it's fine its whatever right?? He could care less about that stuff

HOWEVER in the end he's still a teenager, he's a genuinely insecure teenager. It's not directly stated however it is very much implied with his reactions and interactions and his need/drive to impress others and for them to be impressed by and to want him. He almost needs people to need him and that's probably part of what makes him happy about Sam's codependency because he knows Sam needs Taurtis. Taurtis needs someone to need him, which is probably what started his infatuation with salex because she always praised and flirted with him and fueled his confidence; that's what he wants or "needs." That's part of where I think not only Sam but TAURTIS is also codependent in his own way. It's an eye for an eye. He gives what he wants and expects that to be given back in its own way. He's more than happy with being popular and having Sam do so much, hell that helps boost his confidence. He's got his own demands and we've seen instances where he makes Sam supply hjm or give him his own food (which my friend has pointed out that Sam's willing to even starve for taurtis if it meant taurtis could feel full/get what he wanted.) We see Taurtis even being insecure when Sam and Grian point things out (like when he went bald and how horrible it looked) and he instantly jumped on trying to find ways to quickly grow his hair back. He doesn't want that imperfection. He's quick to jump to conclusions too because when Sam makes a small comment he INSTANTLY retorts. (Example; "you have a great chewwy/ you'd be a great chewwy-chewbaca" "are you saying I'm hairy/fat???) He's still an insecure teenager, despite his popular and having someone straight up need him to be even the slightest bit okay, I dont think he'd willingly abandon that

backs off if you tell him to not touch him, but will resume to play with your hair or whatever he was doing 5 minutes later

he loves hugging, he loves feeling you close to him

it wouldn't be that obvious to people that he head over heels obsessed witih you, until he joins Team Eclipse later on which makes him snap

Jake always has been the one to be in your downs and lows

you've known each other since kids, I mean, being neighbors and all, you two were glued to the hip

fights were pretty rare

Jake never liked you hanging around with anyone except him, or your parents (I mean they're not competition so) in fact, he actually liked your parents, I mean, they are going to be his parents in law.. lol

He gets pretty upset when seeing you with guys (if you bisexual like me then ur fucked LOL)

he is surprisingly patient - or maybe he was good at faking his emotions

He usually bottled his jealousy, anger and frustration, leading to arguements

Arguments did happen, but rarely

"I can just tell you're going to leave me for him- am I just not enough for you?"

Jake just guilt trips and manipulates if you're getting too close with someone

no wonder why you don't have anyone else except Jake LOL

When you both became teenagers Jake's crush on you just fired up more

Every time you brought up someone who was hot at school, Jake's eye just twitched

He was pretty popular in school so he did unfortunately have to make up some rumor's that led you to being an outcast, forcing you to be with him only

If you managed to get a boyfriend, they left due to rumors of you cheating (which you didn't, it was Jake all along)

"Jeez.. I don't know who started a rumor about you being unloyal to your exes.."

Others would look at him in pity for hanging out with you

People think he's too nice of a person

but he is still popular nonetheless and uses it to his advantage, giving you the idea of Jake being the only one to understand you

Reason Jake hasn't confessed his feeling is just... he's incredibly scared of rejection

He loved your friendship with him but he wanted more

sure you two acted like lovebirds but he was scared that if you do reject him, things will never be the same (until when he's in Team Eclipse he forces you back with him with the power he has)

After graduating and celebrating with your only friend Jake at your favourite small restaurant, you confess to him

He's on cloud 9. Like he could explode with happiness

He was so happy to make it official he jumped up, knocking the table slightly and spilling food on you

He was happy to call you his girlfriend, and one day his wife

Waking up after that day was a special one. Checking the window for the weather but instead seeing Jake wave at you was a pleasant way to start it

Your first official Pokémon for your journey

After getting your starter Pokémon and saying goodbye to your parents, you and Jake set off together

You did win the battle with Jake's Eevee, but he was still happy to battle with you

He comforted you after your parents were kidnapped

Jake doesn't meet you up later and leave you like he does in the game, he's always by your side

If he does leave, it's for a valid reason, and under like 20 minutes, if he's in a battle, or he needs to heal his Pokémon while you are in a battle

He trusts you enough to know you're not going to just run off- I mean he has your location on his phone

He is by your side, pretty much all the time

While you battled in Silvent City's gym, he stood in the crowd, watching and cheering you on

As soon as you got the badge, he congratulated you, dragging you away before you can shake the gym leaders hand goodbye

You didn't know Team Eclipse were watching you both, observing the way Jake was always obsessed with you

Jake befriended your Pokémons, it was like a cute little family with you and him

time and time went on, Jake's anxiety about you leaving him dulled down as he was always with you

He always put a hand around you when you're talking with people and put on a fake smile

He can't really stop you from talking to people, so he just figured he'd show people that you were his

You always fought trainers with Jake watching unless if he's in another battle with another trainer

It's been a month and a half

Rosecove city rolled around and came Tess

Jake just finished a battle and was following the directions in his phone which showed your location

As he climbed up the hill, he had that pang again

You saved her from Team Eclipse and she thanked you with a hug

He felt his heart just.. kind of break

Like why is this random girl hugging you? Do you know her? He doesn't recognize her, he didn't know her, and he did not like her

He comes up to you as you hug him, telling him about Team Eclipse.

His frown slightly turned to a thin line and his eyebrows furrowed

You introduce Tess to Jake

He put his arms around your waist and nodded along at times with the conversation, faking a smile

"I would love to join you in your journey." He heard Tess say to you. He narrowed his eyes

What? Tess is going to come along for the journey?

Jake groaned internally. This journey was supposed to be just the two of us, not some Tess

He observed how Tess was slightly flirting with you - or maybe she was just complimenting you and Jake took it the wrong way

Maybe he shouldn't leave you even for a measly 10 minutes

"Sorry, me and "Y/N have to get going- I hope you have a nice time on your own journey-"

He hide the anger in his words as he 'kindly' smiled at Tess and her grandfather

He dragged you away

Apparently she had crucial information about your kidnapped parents from a family friendTess was more favoring to you, and Jake just hated Tess

When you later get alone together,

"Maybe it's best if we just deal with Team Eclipse on our own, we don't need Tess."

You had a gym to battle and to train your pokemons stronger so you had to put it to a later notice

While you were battling the gym leader, Jake snuck away to find Team Eclipse and get back your parents for you to recognize what a hero he is, and how much he does for you!

But it backfires. He gets kidnapped lol

Having more silly little Hatake clan thoughts— I mentioned before that I think the half and half haori (half silver half baby blue) is cute and I want it to be a staple in my Hatake clan lore, so hear me out:

It's supposed to represent "the silver of lightning, the clear blue of a clap of sound"

Now, totally unrelated for that, the Hatake's are all taught to howl at a really young age (6ish) by their clan head, as is tradition. The howling part is easy enough, just go awooo yk? But the fun part is that this is when they're taught a special method of circulating chakra through their vocal cords to make their howls impossibly loud

Its used for plenty of things— calling for help/finding eachother (especially useful for the younger kids who are always at risk at bloodline hunters trying to snatch them up), just for fun and bc its an age old tradition, long range communication (taught a certain pitch of howls that mean different things) etc.

Then as they get older, if they work hard, their howls can even be turned into a weapon! The howl manifesting a physical wave of sound that can crack bone (and, of course, rupture hella eardrums)

They probably have contests about who has the "best howl" and it's ranked by stuff like beauty/expressivness/volume/strength

Oh also + the implications of them having had (and lost, rip) a raijin drum, and their clan head still using the drum mallet as a weapon

Anyways so like, just kinda thinking ab the fun potentials of the Hatake's relationship with sound (the sound of thunder, the sound of a howl, the sound of a thundrous drum beat), and then how that may represent itself in different ways in their culture (wearing blue, as to them it's the "color of sound")

YIPPEE Now that i got that down here are the four main vampyres :-3c there is a Green Coven, Golden Coven, Blue Coven, and Purple Coven. Each vampyre is able to shapeshift into smaller forms—like how a vampyre can change into a bat—these four can turn into different animals !! Theyve all been alive for different amounts of time, yet 300 years ago they all managed to find eachother and create a pact of vampyr covens!!

Leshy is Def known as the cruelest and invasive one,, he does happen to be the only one to mess with the shaping and mirroring of reality,,,, which honestly is concerning the most 😭 throughout history people have claimed they've seen "a big tree creature walking and taking people's skin" ,,,, So the eldritch rumors are NOT very helpful for him-

Kallamar o kallamar !!! She is a siren and she stays only in the water :-) if her siblings needs to speak to her then they make sure to have a water circle in the middle of their meeting room so they can all talk with her there,,, kallamar is known for her manipulative tactics and ways of persuasion which help her catch and convert people into vampyrism

Lastly is our main coven leader Everyone knows that built up the ideas for a vampyre uprising would be none other thann Shamura 👍👍👍 known for their sadistic self and invincibility , using wind magick to get away with a variety of things in a literal snap of a finger ,,, because of being a vampyre longer than all of them they're uniquely the one with sensitivity to blood?? They can still take blood but they dont drink it as often as the other three do (minus the way leshy does it because he literally latches himself onto a victim's shoulder with his mouth ,,,, )

Well here's the first three bigshots of the company >:-D Sozonius has been hunting and obtaining information about vampyr for years, narinder is fairly new to vampyr bounty hunting yet still exceeded the expectation of a regular bounty hunter (surprisingly the strongest 23 year old), and lamb only recently started researching the vampyr after they lost their mother to vampyrism,, they are mainly known for being a detective and trying to help people out with finding their lost family members or attempting to help revert a vampyr they found back into a mortal !!!!

The company (which im,,,, Honestly not sure of a name about still 😭 i dont know what to call it) has been a benefit to society more than they realize. The unmentioned references happen to be Forneus and Monch. The head scientist is Monch, and Forneus IS the founder of the company to hunt down vampyres! Shes lost her family to vampyrism all the same, especially her two sons (aym & baal) which were kidnapped by Shamura too since theyve stalked narinder and knew he had a fondness over those two kittens just as much as forneus did.

There are more roles within this universe,, ive also been trying to think of how many characters I could add into this,, BUT YEAH !!!! Something really silly and self indulgent over the past few days of making finalized refs for them :-D

Ive been kinda plotting out another secret story for Narinder on how *he* was the one who caused this sudden uprising,, how the betrayal of leaving his siblings caused them to rage in revolution,, but that can be for another time 🕺

Teen Wolfstar ramble

I think Wolfstar is an interesting ship as adults. Broken Remus and Sirius finding eachother again, with all their history and failures and conflicting needs, is fascinating for a messy adult partnership. People who have lost everything else. Awesome. I can see why that's interesting.

But I don't see teenage Wolfstar at all lol. Negative compatibility. I think the only time teen Sirius and Remus really talk to each-other is Sirius being like "Ugh I'm bored I wish it was the full moon" and Remus 'darkly' grumbling "I guess you would wish that..." ????? Imagine: "I wish it was the worst period of time for your chronic health condition, where you go through severe pain, fear, delusion... It's entertaining! We run about and put lives in danger. You're the only one with conflicting thoughts about it and the only one who would suffer the consequences of something going wrong - so who cares"

Sirius and James hexing students, Sirius' irresponsible behaviour towards Severus and Remus from the Prank... Remus brought Peter into the friend group, forever feeling bad for 'the underdog' - and James and Sirius only belittle him... Sirius was a stuck up prick as a teenager. Sirius was an asshole. He only cared about James. Everyone else was like a toy. He decided if they were 'fun' or if they were 'bad' - Black and white thinking.

Then as young adults - they didn't trust eachother. Remus was out of the picture, thinking Sirius was the traitor... probably because Sirius thought HE was the traitor, while being IN the picture: deep in James and Lily's company. Why would Sirius think Remus was a traitor...? Because he had sympathy for Severus? Because he didn't have enough of a backbone to say 'no'? Because he was a werewolf...? Remus valued the people who accepted him so. fucking. much. The idea that he would betray them beyond 'running away to keep them safe'... it shows a severe core misunderstanding of this guy he has known for half his life. 10 years!!!

To me it doesn't scream 'these men loved eachother'. The vibe I get is 'We wouldn't have anything to do with eachother if not for James.' The Marauders are a broken friend group. None of them are particularly good people as teens - which contrasts with Harry and his friends. 'New Generation solving the sins of the last' plot type. That doesn't mean they weren't friends, that they didn't care... but they were toxic. Unsustainable.

And that makes it cooler that they're the two 'survivors', right? They got along the least of anyone... but now they have both been through hell. They are more mature. Things can be different now.

I'm not surprised that they are turned into different people for the sake of writing their relationship working: Making Sirius someone Remus could stomach - and making Remus someone Sirius could appreciate and look up to. Remus a grumpy strong wolf - Sirius a short silly puppy.

I think EVERY ship can work, it depends on the story - put any characters through the right trials and they will find ways to appreciate eachother. That's the fun part of shipping. Teen Sirius and Remus.... would need a LOT of story. Which is why, instead, they are often just changed to make it easier.

There are so many ships in this Fandom and all are valid but I just wanna spend an entire month talking about my favorite silly rairpair because there needs to be more content for them ans i will provide

Gregbadd is unironically so fucking underrated, they have the ultimate tragic love story contained in one single year of time!! they meet on the case that ultimately kills Gregory, and they try and solve it together. they have nights where they just sit and have coffee and look over files to find anything in silence, they meet at coffee shops to talk, they see eachother at work and do other cases all the while they have this underlying goal to work towards together,,,, fuck the 7yg (jkjk i love the 7yg i just am insnae about these two) we have the one year of time to build a relationship! we have a slowburn with a set in stone ending that is tragic! They're doomed by the narrative!! they're right there guys! there's so much to work with and so many stupid things that could happen and it's underrated and not talked about enough!!!!

i just think a fic where they're just sitting in Gregory's backyard at night and talking about how difficult it is for both of them, just talking about life and their histories and stupid stories together while Miles is asleep upstairs is just. needed. I'm going to write it I swear to God

I've been seeing a lot of hate for dragons rising and the later seasons of ninjago and I have my thoughts. As usual. Im a very thought filled person. So I'm gonna tell you all my very correct and right opinion on the matter. Also it's very long be warned now 🧙‍♂️ (little recap at the very end in case you dont wanna read the whole thingg)

The later seasons of Lego ninjago and the entirety of Dragons Rising is not bad. It's just different.

The first season of lego ninjago came out in 2011.

The expectations for a kids show in 2011 are different than the expectations in 2024. The humor kids like is going to change naturally over the years. The tropes in media that kids like is going to change over the years.

We were the target audience when the show first came out, because we were kids. It's a show aimed for a younger audience. Unfortunately, the intended audience did not change as we got older. The show is still aimed at a younger audience, but guess what? There's new kids. The age range is filled with new people. And to still have their target audience hit, they are obviously going to have to change a few things so the kids nowadays will want to watch the show.

The original seasons had more focus on the character vs character conflics. Of course it dabbled in characters having internal struggles and side plots related to building/destroying relationships, but those were more episode specific and he newer seasons just delve more into it for multiple episodes. There was a focus on the fighting, on the action, on the cool outfits and mech armor. The new seasons are still fighting bad guys, with all of the cool effects, but also fighting feelings. You can do both at once. Shocker, I know. Why is there more focus on emotions? Because that's the standard in well written shows these days.

The humor is less characters making fun of eachother, and more a dead silence filled with a silly sound effect. This is one of the things that irked me, but it's okay. My humor is not the humor of the intended audience. The space is intended for the audience to have the audible laughter/reaction. Quick reminder who the show is intended for. (I hold up a sign saying "new generation of young people with different humor then people my age".)

The characters are not annoying. The characters are not weak, or pitiful, or embarrassing. A character having emotions other than love or anger or happiness is okay. Arin not feeling worthy enough for his team? Guess what? That's an emotion lots of people feel. This character is allowed to have self doubt. Lloyd having panic attacks from his visions? Hey, his visions scared him! Characters are allowed to be scared, and have a reaction to being scared.

Characters are allowed to be replaced. I know, I loved the original elemental masters, and wish they could come back for a cameo now and then. Would love to see Griffin Turner once and a while. But you have to remember in the canon, it's been years. Time passes. Wanna know what happens when time passes? People die, people move on, people come into others lives. The new elemental master of air is fine. She's allowed to exist. Do you honestly expect Morro to show back up and be like "omg hiii >< I'm here I want my power back !!" Be honest with yourselves.

Final thought: who cares if characters are gay. A background character wears a nonbinary flag on their jacket?!?!?!? It must be armageddon!! Come on now. One or two flags in the background isn't the end of the world. Cole and Geo's relationship has no effect on the main plot. Geo could be replaced by any character, or even removed, and the plot would still go forward. Gay people aren't out to get you, or turn your show woke, or indoctrinate your kids. They're just there. Cole is still Cole, and Geo is cool. Another thing about Geo: I will not take Geo slander from lava shippers. He is very sweet and kind and just because Cole is not with Kai doesn't mean yall should hate on him. Also I don't even think Cole and Geo are 100% confirmed. So why is everyone going bananas over it? Very silly behavior if you ask me.

Recap: the target audience is young people, young people are different now then when we were young, they have different humor, it's fine for characters to be emotional, new characters aren't the end of the world, gay people are fine.

I desire to know more about John Doe Ezra AU Penny

YIPPEE I get to yap about this very tired angry depressed 17 year old /silly

- her sleep schedule is HORRENDOUS. Refuses to sleep until she ultimately collapses because she's too stubborn to give up her search for Ez. (even if she already knows the truth of what happened, being a literal WITNESS of the cyclone accident,, jst doesn't wanna accept it)

- also stays up because of frequent night terrors & nightmares in general. Has fallen asleep in multiple classes and has straight up collapsed when searching in the fall fair (as she skips classes a lOT)

- I feel like. She'd have some form of mild PTSD

- VERY uneasy around blood, understandably. Despite this she often gets into fights at school & it usually ends with her disassociated in the nurse's office. Somehow she hasn't gotten expelled (tbf it's Saint Cassian that school is hell™️)

- absolutely refused to let the foster home get rid of Ezra's stuff so she could share a room with someone else. she did not let them touch ANYTHING or let ANYONE share the room. They gave up after a while

- She still has the porcelain doll(mini jane ig/silly) she won at the fall fair,, even though she kinda. shoved it on a shelf because she didn't wanna think about it

- girlie does NOT take care of herself. Her hair is a mess but luckily it still looks. Decent enough! even if she hasn't let her hair down/out of the braids since the fall fair

- Doesn't really talk to the other choir members that much. However she's seemed to bond with Constance & Mischa a bit at the very least

- Ocean & Penny absolutely HATE eachother. Penny thinks she's too strict, uptight, and a general asshole while Ocean thinks she's too wreckless, rude, and probably insane

- tried to steal a car once to run the person who was running the Cyclone over. ended up accidentally driving into a mailbox so she just stole the mailbox and uses it as a weapon whenever she doesn't have a pocket knife on her

- refuses to go into therapy. She trusts NOBODY (other than a select few people) in Uranium.

- Her n' Tammy don't exactly. Get along anymore. They had a big argument about everything which ended with Penny storming off to blow off some steam (didn't want Tammy to be involved in her anger outbursts)

- When "John" popped outta nowhere she was probably too tired to process he had a doll head & little to no memory and was just kinda like. "wwhere have you beenjjdhd" and immediately conked tf out. Safe to say when she woke back up, much like the OG lamb siblings— ,, seeing your dead sibling with a doll head standing infront of you probably isn't the best thing to experience or wake up to (she probably had a panic attack & scrambled into a corner much to John's dismay)

- speaking of that, she did try to start taking care of herself again once John had popped up,, just. Instead of pushing him away, she refuses to leave him on his own for too long & gets vERY paranoid whenever she can't find him. Even if she knows he's not. really the same :(
