I never posted my reaction to Summerfest on here, soooo

God, this design grew on me. The blond and pink tentacles are gorgeous, and I love the lime headpiece. Lemon-lime soda is my favorite drink, so this Shiver was made for me. Ultimately, my least favorite special Shiver design, but it says something since she's still absolutely gorgeous. (I love the other two as well).

This design also grew on me! I love the fresh and vibrant vibes it has! Callie looks absolutely gorgeous, though it took me a while to get used to her chopped "hair." Marie is also pretty, though I'm not crazy for her like everyone else.

this past year has easily been one of the most productive and artistically formative years in recent memory and i'm so incredibly proud and grateful to have this little corner of the internet full of people who share my interests and enjoy my art <3

While rewatching ducktales, I realised that they looove foreshadowing, they do it all the time, sometimes they even give the whole plot of an episode in the very first scenes without the viewer noticing lol.

Anyway, I realised that they foreshadowed the whole “duke of making a mess” thing that Huey had in the sword of swanstantine episode!

THE THING IS, EVEN on my first watch, I could tell that this was supposed to be a multiple episode arc but they HAD to make it shorter because ducktales was getting cancelled and I’m PISSED. LIKE ALL OF MY FAVOURITE CARTOONS, THIS COULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH MORE.

DEWEY had his own arc where he’s trying to uncover his mom’s dissaperance with Webby. LOUIE had his own arc where he was struggling with his place in the family and HUEY. DIDN’T.

Ughhh they foreshadowed the Duke of making a mess in the intern episode and even in Scrooge’s birthday!!

Those are BOTH season 1 episodes (I’m not gonna list more foreshadowing because you get my point) SO THEY’VE BEEN BUILDING UP THIS ARC SINCE THE BEGINNING AND THEY DIDNT GET TO CASH IT INNNNN RAHHHHHH 🗣️‼️‼️‼️‼️

When watching the ONE episode where he appears, you could IMMEDIATELY tell that it should’ve been a bigger deal. I mean come onnnn, they enter Huey’s mind scape and there’s a huge closed up door??? With locks??? DUUUDE THAT WOULD’VE BEEN AWESOMMMMEEE

I’m saying all of this but this is just to vent some frustration about how animation shows will just be cancelled without the chance to say all that they’ve wanted to say… and as the one who wants to hear it: *cries and wails and pees on the floor*

Ducktales was planning so many more seasons and only got 3, like every other great animation show nowadays i fear

the priest saying “there’s nothing I haven’t heard before” because Bobby casual dropped the I killed 148 people in an apartment fire in Minnesota on him and also I am a recovering alcoholic and Eddie Diaz really came into that confessional and was like so let me tell you about the telenovela that I was in last season where I have a best friend and ex-girlfriend in that order and my son who currently is living with my parents because they all caught me while I was lying and seeing my son’s dead mother and I got caught because actually father I am in love with my best friend but I still haven’t realized that and I never actually was in love with my wife more like we were forced into a marriage because she got pregnant and then I decided to run off to join the Army and become an Army Medic for two tours so I wasn’t ready to be in a ready made family with her and I love my son so much don’t get me wrong but I wasn’t in love with his mother but lets go back to talking about my son and my best friend please father

in the baby prime orion au during sentinel's reign the high guard got used to referring to optimus as 'little prime', half because they were paranoid of being spied on and didn't want to give anything away and half because that's just what he was to them. their little prime.

and even after they're banished from iacon half of the decepticons never stop calling optimus 'little prime', not even long after the war goes on for thousands and thousands of years. is it an endearment? an insult? a reminder of better long gone times? a way to tell him he will never quite be as great as his fallen siblings? just simple habit? no one knows but the truth is it quite depends on who you ask but also they're all lying so you can't trust any of them
