As I stated in my Tumblr tags, I started this fanart after seeing another artist's design that I honestly really liked.

With some freedom I made some modifications to the design (like the earrings or the shorts having a hole).

But it was just looking at the design and thinking "Yes, this is something she would wear."

The way scum villain has so many themes about writing/the literary arts and mdzs has so many themes about music and tgcf has so many themes about visual art and how each character that represents each of those respectively has their own struggle with their craft (passion burnout, loss of control over their ip/creation, obsession and dissociation) that gets turned on its head as their stories continue and their art comes to represent satisfaction and connection and devotion and love

you know, I am wondering with Candela and the Age of Umbra thing if Matt was looking for like, something lighter because Candela has been strong and hopefully Age of Umbra doesn't pull its punches with that premise, but it is like. shame you chose to do it in like, the epic conclusion of ten years of storytelling instead of doing a couple silly one-pager one shots, or running the a miniseries with the dungeon meshi campaign frame instead

i think i wouldn’t hate disco elysium’s collage mode nearly as much if it weren’t for 1) the way that it was marketed in such a tasteless, soulless manner, let alone the fact that it was a last ditch distraction from a dead on its feet studio piloted by dumbass thieving execs and released on the day of the court declaration, and 2) those dumbass fucking stickers

like if it had been included with the base game from the start and had been titled something a bit more tasteful and in-line with how i would have liked the feature to be marketed as— something like “exploration mode”, something that perhaps could only be unlocked after completing the game for the first time, AND didn’t have those stupid as hell visually and tonally incongruent with the artstyle stickers, i would have applauded it as a nice little bonus for being able to study and appreciate the 3d models and environments for reference.

VUHIA, toa Mangai of the green (10/11)

Tending to the gardens that surround the great temple, Vuhia finds her position joyful and effortless. After fighting alongside her newfound siblings, she marked their victory by planting a vuata maca tree from her homeland on the mountain--a tree which grew so potent and full of life through her nurturing that the garden has long overgrown its original bounds.

Vuhia's quiet focus fits in well with the rest of her team, but she does what she can to make up for their distance and standoffishness. Any matoran eager enough to track her down in the vast temple garden is welcomed warmly, and the most dedicated few have become skilled foresters in their own right, helping Vuhia tend to the trees.

She wears the great Ouha, mask of healing, and wields a pair of Old Growth Trowels which see most of their use digging through the tough mountain soil. One day Vuhia and Tokat took a walk through the gardens, and what was thought to be them taking their time has turned into a mystery even their toa siblings haven't solved.

Next up, the tiny treehouse of my atla girlies! Not canon to their stories as they are both young adults living here BUT, the treehouse represents the orphanage Shen builds after the events of ATLA. This is just more functional for in game purposes aha! Again, original build was found on the gallery but altered by me to suit my needs.

A mighty need for Mysterion yep..

Still awaiting his proper return....I know he tech came back in TFBW but I feel....he needs a better return...still awaiting and hoping for an episode/plot around his powers but there could be other plots and episodes too maybe...I would love one where Kenny comes up with his superhero persona in the first place...like his inspirations for Mysterion for his costume...how he put the costumes together and his very first night out in his superhero mode.(ha since his response to Cartman's "I was doing this first" was "Nuh huh." I HC Mystery boi was out and about before bumping into him on that roof. XD)

Or just randomly stick Mysterion somewhere back into the lore...some plot/some episode somewhere. I don't know how...just ha Kenny's already been living in a part of my mind before....and Mysterion just made sure he wasn't going anywhere any time soon. This addicting immortal boi I love and just always want to see more of. XD

Open letter of love to the queer and LGBTQIA community in America and abroad in these dark times. Please know that out there in the world there is at least [1], likely many more, people who witnessed your existence and are fundamentally better for it. Someone who took courage from your expression of self. Someone was genuinely able to smile in a dark place because they saw you, or something you made to express yourself. Someone who saw something you and your community shared with the world and felt so lucky to witness it. Someone who took comfort knowing you are out there somewhere and hopes you will thrive. Maybe you will never know the exact measure of joy you brought to some people, and get to understand the gratitude and love they have for you, which is a damn shame. To the queer people in my life and those I’ve had the pleasure of crossing paths with, through art or dialogue or writing or silly posting, thank you. And thank you for sharing your thoughts and creations with us. I hope you will continue to do so, and that many more people than you anticipated will step forward and fight like hell for you. Script writing-a surprising turn of events

So, I had really bad writers block. REALLY BAD. Life kept life-ing at me hard and I hit a very nasty patch with work.

It's taken me a while to come out of it. Three YEARS in fact. The main thing that got me out of this dearth of writing ability was, surprisingly to me, ASMR stories performed on YouTube. I got inspired to write again.

I finished Night Terrors for The Mechanisms fandom which I started in 2020 back in LOCKDOWN, and I've worked on a bunch of other WIPs since, about 60K words since July all told.

It's been BLISS.

So, I thought I'd try my hand at writing scripts for ASMRists and Voice Actors to have a go at if they wanted to since it was what community which inspired me so much.

Long story short, someone has picked up my scripts and run with them!

I am a sucker for Hurt/Comfort and a full on plot. So I started writing a series about a Vampire Hunter who, when annihilating a nest of vampires stumbles across a newly turned vampire, one who has never fed from a human and doesn't even know they're a vampire. They were taken and turned against their will. The hunter decides not to kill them but help train them to be a vegetarian vampire, feeding off animal blood and so completely reducing their threat to the population. There's just been too much killing and the new vampire is very young, a first year university student.

This will be a multi-part series, fully platonic -I've got no interest in writing romance and I am rubbish at it! This is very much a developing found family, parent and child relationship where they really start to care for each other, especially when the plot kicks off.

Paradox VA has performed the first two in this series and I am THRILLED. I never expected anyone to pick up and perform my work, let alone someone who's really done it justice! He's a new VA so if you are interested please have a watch, like the video if you enjoyed it and subscribe to his channel, he's been kind enough to lend his time and talent to my stuff so the least I can do is promote it shamelessly!

One minute I’m happy with the voice i gave her the next i’m unsure 😔 infinite editing in beta so i’m gonna see the options again, it was hard to choose. i’m going for a classic “intimidating and hard to approach fighter who’s actually silly, cringe, and sweet when you get to know her” so a deep slightly scratchy voice seemed an obvious choice! i think i didn’t listen to all the options, but do tell me if you think it works?
