He either doesn’t swear at all, or once every once in a while just lets out a loud FUCK because the code isn’t working. Probably a mix of both, he tries to avoid cussing at all costs but listen, it’s impossible to avoid cussing if you’re a programmer /hj

General Info

Yes! She hated school when she was a kid but she absolutely enjoys it now! It’s funny because she dreaded it so much as first but almost instantly fell in love with RAD. She’s currently apart of the student council, she does a bit of everything but her main job is keeping everyone on task lol.

Her favorite studies are Devildom History and Applied Magical Potions, shes incredibly interested in the Devildom as a whole so she tends to do very well in any classes pertaining to them and enjoys the task of brewing potions.

Her least favorite being Mathematics and Cursed and Hexes. She’s not a math girle and will often (with his consent) cheat off Mammon. She also feels way too bad about putting any curses on anyone, it doesn’t help her angel heritage naturally makes it harder.

Hoh boy! This one has flipped quite a bit in the beginning and then settled and has flipped again. Fun fact about me, Mammon used to be my favorite (hard to imagine I know 😔) and Minnie was a Mammon MC. But Nightbringer has made my love for Solomon so strong I changed her lol. So to answer your question

Solomon: One of her most trusted and beloved friends maybe more?👀 Solomon is the person Minnie isn’t afraid to be honest about her feelings and opinions. She respects him deeply, this man has saved her life on numerous occasions and was more than happy to teach her magic. They’re study buddies because he’s aware of where her gap of knowledge is likely to be and isn’t condescending about it. I’ve said it before, Minnie’s humanity is very important to her and she feels like Solomon understands her on a level the others don’t.

Mammon: His partner in crime! They’re both trouble makers, for different reasons. Mammon loves causing trouble and Minnie always finds herself following along. They copy each other’s homework for classes they suck at (He copies her Human and Devildom history and she copies his mathematics). She’s also the black sheep in her family so she’s way softer on him than the rest. She absolutely refuses to call him an idiot, people used to call her that and all it did was push herself deeper down. Does not like Lucifer’s punishments.

She has forged pacts with all 7 of the brothers. She sees her pacts with them as a massive trust and proof of how much they all love each other. She’d have to love and trust another demon enough to ask them.

She does in fact have a guardian angel, she just isn’t aware yet lol. His name is Jeremial, and he didn’t intentionally become her guardian Angel.

Michael had asked him just before the game exchange program began. He was in the middle of a project and went “Yeah yeah, of course.” and only found out when Michael asked how everything is going.

He doesn’t mind all too much.

Charlie and the gang meet Lucifer. Spoilers!

It’s cute getting confirmation that Charlie and Vaggie sleep in the same bed. You think since this is Charlie, they’d sleep in separate rooms or beds…only for Charlie to feel lonely and ask Vaggie if she could sleep with her XD.

Though small, it’s nice to see Charlie admit that she isn’t okay with something, instead of trying to make it sound like she isn’t and everything is fine like she usually does.

The string on Charlie’s wall is shaped like a star. Fun symbolism or more?

He, Charlie drew Angel as an actual spider.

Another new power for Charlie, when she gets emotional she can make the ground shake. Could this be another thing related to that Hellquake Blitzo felt in the Cherub episode!

Fingers crossed that there is more to Lucifer allowing the Exterminations to happen.

Again fun to hear Charlie curse, and I think we saw a bit of her mom’s side there.

I’m liking Charlie’s thinking about asking the other higher ups of Heaven for a meeting. Shows she can find alternate ways to things and goes back to my thing about how Adam could do this so quickly and my “Charlie is being tested�� theory.

I hope your right Charlie about angels wanting to help, or at least will LATER in the series. Again I think it be cool if Jesus Christ allied with Charlie later on.

On Charlie’s phone you can see several contacts like 2 demons like Amon (a marquis goetia of life and reproduction) and Azazel (which was a place people left scapegoats representing their sins before becoming a demon who gave humans forbidden knowledge) and Cyhyraeth, a thing from Welsh mythology, adding more to my “Heaven/Hell inspiring other myths” :)

Wait split? LIKE DIVORCED? DAMMMIT WHY WRITERS! Or by split could Charlie have meant Lilith’s 7 years of being missing? I’m kind of hoping that this isn’t the first time Lucifer and Lilith have gotten “divorced”, and it’s a healthy thing for their kind of relationship, and Charlie doesn’t realize this because she is still “young”.

So Charlie has daddy issues in that she just wants some actual father/daughter time with her father. Hopefully she does here.

So it looked like Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie were a happy family back then. I’m hoping Charlie wasn’t the reason her parents split, nor anything similar to what Stolas and Stella had.

I’ve talked about the VAs for the show previously, but it was only because it was the beginning of the show and I don’t usually mind such stuff (in fact Angel’s voice has gotten better since the first episode and I bet Jeremy Jordan will to) but out of all the thoughts I have about them, the biggest one that I will always defend is that Lucifer SHOULD have had a Mark Hamill’s Joker like voice. I mean that is PERFECT for this character as Lucifer looks both scary AND funny and who fits that more than the DCAU Joker. It likely would have helped with the fandom too as apparently a lot of people don’t like HH’s Lucifer because he is so goofy. What if as a compromise, Lucifer’s full demon form sounds Joker like? Would you have liked for him to have such a voice?

Though he’s probably doing it out of nervousness, I feel like Lucifer’s attitude about not wanting Charlie to see Heaven is a bit related to my headcanon of him not wanting his daughter to become a target.

I like how Angel smiled when Charlie said her redemption dream meant a lot to her, showing that he is valuing that she cares for him. Also points for Vaggie for comforting Charlie during the call :)

That look of pain Lucifer had when Charlie said Heaven would listen if she talked to them, reminds me of a thing I said in a previous review about how Lucifer was in Charlie shoes millennia ago and knowing what Heaven will do, doesn’t want Charlie to go through it.

That scene of Niffty scaring Angel got me thinking, you think Angel ever gives her makeup tips? I could see that leading to them getting on friendlier terms.

Really glad to see Lucifer being a nice and supportive dad, even if he has no idea what Charlie is trying to do.

The fact Lucifer didn’t instantly destroy Alastor shows he has restraint, that or he is doing it for his daughter. Either way cool.

Oh Lucifer’s jealous XD. Alastor can't help but cause trouble, can he XD.

Someone pointed it out, but I am surprised that there haven’t been that many big moments between Charlie and Vaggie being a couple. At least there are to make it clear that they are together, and its better then how Helluva Boss hammers in the eventually Blitzo and Stolas relationship, no offense to Stolitz fans.

While the “not knowing Charlie’s bi” thing did worry me for a second, mostly because of what I said in my Charlie and Vaggie trailer breakdown, it would have been worse if Lucifer was a bad dad. Luckily he isn’t and it is great knowing that it didn’t affect how much he really loves Charlie, doesn’t hate humans/sinners, and instantly likes Vaggie.

They got the voice of Spinel for her cool. It also sounds a lot like I was imagining, very DCAU Harley Quinn meets 1920sesque stereotypical voice. Small note but I hope we hear her call Alastor puddin one day XD.

It was always a known that she loved money and such, but the Mammon tattoo on her back is a bit concerning. Then there is that look Mimzy gave about “dropping by”.

For a minute there I thought Mimzy was going to try and flirt with Lucifer. That would have ended badly, though I would mind seeing someone else try and do it. A bit off topic but I’m kind of hoping such a thing happens when Lilith is also in the room and a jealous Lilith embarrasses the lady XD.

Got some interesting character designs in Mimzy’s story like a sinner as a couch, one with a mirror for a face (likely symbolizing she was a copycat or very vain about her looks, an Anubis guy (remind me of the female mummy/pharaoh from pilot) and one that looks like Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. I also feel some of those Overlords Alastor took out are refences like that girl in the alleyway gives off Penumbra from “Villainous vibes, that one aquatic demon reminds me of the Von Eldritch family with a mix of Baxter/Glitz and Glam (maybe she was Fredrick or Bethesda’s great aunt), the doctor looking like Invader Zim’s Professor Membrane, and that long hair demon looks familiar too.

So Mimzy is there for selfish reasons.

In Charlie’s defense Lucifer, those are hellborn demons attacking so it is different. Again they really should consider not clumping sinners and hellborn demons together in the same category.

I think Lucifer’s speech to Charlie is also him complaining about something else.

Alastor is GIGANTIFIED! At least my idea of my OC Astro having a Megazord form isn’t as crazy as it sounds now.

I’m also surprised that Lucifer didn’t try fighting the Loan Sharks to impress Charlie.

Ooo I sense some big Charlie and Lucifer moments coming up.

I really hope the writers use Alastor’s offer of Mimzy returning to change as a way to make her a main character later on.

Ugh it looks like Lilith and Lucifer ARE divorced and have been for a long time. Again WHY WRITERS. At least they seem to be on good terms. Plus again “Lilith imposter” theory.

It’s nice to know that Charlie did learn something from her father despite them not being so close.

WAIT so does this mean the popular fan theory of “Lucifer creating the Extermination so Heaven would be okay with him and Lilith having Charlie” is wrong? Knowing these kinds of shows, maybe Lucifer is hiding that info from Charlie and when she does find out, it makes her mad at him and strains their relationship once again…for a short time.

We’re going to see what Heaven is like! At least in ways not seen in those early released HH trading cards.

Okay Vaggie being nervous about going to Heaven definitely confirms that she is a former Exorcist.

THIS WAS THE BEST HAZBIN HOTEL EPISODE YET!

I’m SOOOO glad Lucifer while flawed, isn’t a bad father like those we’ve seen in Helluva Boss. I’d say he outranks them all. It’s also great to know that while he can be goofy, he can still have more personality and serious emotion, like not wanting Charlie to go through the same pain he went through with Heaven. Now let’s hope Lilith (the TRUE Lilith) is just as good as a parent too.

It was also great to see Mimzy in the episode, which I think we all expected since I recall Vivzie saying she was going to be in a big episode and I’m glad she was, especially before spoilers started appearing on YouTube. From the voice to her attitude, she is a lot like I was expecting and I hope she gets a bigger role in the future. I can also now work on posting this funny pic I’ve had related to her that I’ve been holding onto for some time so stay tuned for that.

Then there is, in my opinion, the episode's only but BIG FLAW of finding out that Lucifer and Lilith are no longer together. It’s another predictable plot point (at least to me), it’s another example of how Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are TOO SIMILAR to each other, and just overall a really, REALLY big bummer to see and hear about, especially after all the pics and quotes from Vivziepop about how much Lucifer and Lilith love each other.

LUCKILY I have mentioned a dozen ideas in past works for how the writers could fix this/make this work AND be a good thing story wise, from how this is a natural cycle in Lucifer and Lilith's relationship to how it’s the equivalent of a night on the couch to Lucifer, my favorite so far would have to be the “Lilith imposter” theory that has been going around.

As the name implies, someone or something is pretending to be Lilith as part of an evil plan so what if to defend Charlie and Hell (also cause they feared the idea of Lucifer having a child with someone who isn’t his actual wife) Lilith (and maybe even Lucifer) got divorced so the imposter wouldn’t get their hands on some seriously big info about Hell and Heaven, and even though it PAINED BOTH OF THEM to do it, they realized it was the right call.

This could lead to a future story where when after the imposter is finally revealed and/or captured/killed, Lucifer and Lilith get REMARRIED! I have this idea somewhere about how Charlie always wanted to plan her parent’s wedding, and this could make such a thing happen. You have to agree that this would make for an awesome “just for fun” episode. Maybe one where they are safe enough to have another kid, THAT would be crazy and I LOVE IT! I’m hopeful that this could happen, and I hope there are other fans out there too. Until we find out more about what is going on, my only choice is to pull a Red vs. Blue Sarge and blame the few fans who liked the divorced idea before the episode came out XD.

Now we’re going to see Charlie and Vaggie go to Heaven. Let’s just hope they don’t screw things up too much then they could have.

We coulda used some more Jeremy/Elena scene’s instead of telling us how important they are to each other.

Klaus is hilariously petty about his Tyler/Hayley headcanon.

Freeing the hybrids is way more interesting to me then the cure, sadly it’s mostly off screen. But that would have been neat to watch, particularly if Elena figured out how to undo her sire bond by helping with that as the main plotline as opposed to the cure.

I’m fine with her either way, which is weird when Elena’s miserable as a vampire and only is so bad because of the sire bond. The triangle isn’t as fun this season because the brothers arguing over what type of vampire Elena will be is super disgusting because Elena doesn’t get to pick.

That said, Stefan comes off a little better than Damon because Elena’s opened up about how much she hates being a vampire.

Elena’s primary characterization imo is her resisting what Damon wants and trying for what she agrees with - Stefan (and Caroline until Elena’s like she’s too good at this which sigh at least that’s something) who is lying to her, and trying to force herself through suicidal ideation for Jeremy’s sake.

Course she’ll now have the hunters curse which will ultimately break her down enough to give into Damon, but I’ll get to that when I get to that.

yes i do 😌 seems like this is a popular interpretation of scout because, well, duh lmao and i absolutely love it.

scout's obvious and well-documented hyperactive motormouth personality aside, here are some more subtle traits that i find fun to write and think about:

- the reason why he can just talk endlessly is because he just makes instant connections in his mind between all the things he talks about in ways that aren't really clear to anyone but him. i always lovingly call him stupid but really i think his brain works very fast and the only reason he isn't "smart" is because he just isn't interested in being smart, because that's for nerds and he's not a nerd. he strikes me as the typical kid whose teachers were like "if only you applied yourself jeremy :(" lol

- drawing in his sketchbook is one of the few things for which he can sit still and hyperfixate on for hours on end i think.

- he's a touchy-feely guy which i joke about by saying "he has no object permanence so he needs to hold on to whoever he's talking to" but i just think he likes running his hands through different textures. feels good.

- while im sure they both feel a wide range of emotions quite intensely, in contrast to sniper who represses his emotions and pretends they dont exist, scout just expresses them so much, and that's his way of processing the way he feels, for better or worse. he's dramatic! he loves to complain!

- he has this uncanny photographic memory and really, really good spatial orientation/awareness. he'll take one look at a map and immediately understand where things are and where he's going, and i think that's an understated but very important part of his job that he actually doesn't really brag about because to him this is a normal ability...

- he can probably recite any random baseball stat from the past 50 years out of a corner of his mind in a second, which he insists isn't a "nerdy" thing to do because it's sports. yeah righto nerd lol

- i don't know if this counts BUT i find it extremely fun: scout is a superstitious person... something he might have carried over from watching/playing baseball (especially since he'd be a red sox fan living in the curse of the bambino era) and there definitely are certain things he just has to do for good luck before running into the battlefield.

A Few Tangled Headcanons

So people really liked my classic Disney princess headcanons. So I thought I’d share my headcanons for Tangled and its spinoff series as well since its my current obsession. Most of them are centered around Varian but there are a few about the other characters as well. I don't have many headcanons at the moment, but if I think of any new ones I’ll go ahead and add them.

-In nearly every early version of the Rapunzel tale, she and the prince have twins. One boy and one girl. So Eugene and Rapunzel will have twins as well. Their names are Amanda and Zachary. I hope everyone knows why.

-On the topic of children, Varian will also eventually have a daughter named Clara. Again, I hope you all know why.

-Varian’s middle name is Jeremy. Please tell me you know why.

-Cassandra has several older siblings from the hundreds of years Gothel lived. Like, at least 7. They’re all dead by the time the film takes place cuz it happened so long ago.

-Varian is a bit insecure about his teeth and small frame. He wishes he was built more like his father.

-Rapunzel and Quirin both find Varian as adorable as the fandom does.

-This next one I’m a little unsure about. But I have pondered the idea of Andrew redeeming himself and getting with Cassandra for real.

-Varian’s favorite look for Cass is when she’s wearing her handmaiden headdress. It reminds him of the Catholic stained glass paintings of angels with halos.

-On the topic of Catholicism, Varian’s mother was a Catholic. Varian himself is open to religion, but really needs to see to believe.

-Rapunzel on the other hand doesn't. She has complete faith in a higher power.

-Corona didn't invent the title of royal engineer. They took the idea from France. I hope everyone knows who the first royal engineer of France was. ;)

-Varian eventually becomes a vegetarian, but not before inventing the first plant based ham.

-Catalina will eventually find a way to break her curse.

-That mess Pascal and Max made at the wedding? Varian has a solution for that.

-Even at the wedding and other special events, Varian still wears his goggles.

-Rapunzel still loves her hazelnut soup and its the main entrée at the celebratory dinner after the wedding.

-Rapunzel made her own wedding dress.

-The twins love to hear about their parents’ adventures following the black rock path.

-Rapunzel is a songwriter. Every song she’s sang in the show and movie was published and sheet music sold.

-Varian will always be on the short side.

-Varian has asthma and eventually invents an early model of inhaler.

-Varian is part French on his mother’s side.

POST SERIES   /   LEGACIES RELATIONSHIPS.

obviously, with the events of legacies happening and how tvd / to ended, there’s a huge impact on what kind of  relationships all the characters have to one another. some of them i’ve headcanoned / written pretty extensively about in threads ( the twins, stefan’s memory, klaus, etc. ) but!! this is just gonna be a semi-extensive / semi-comprehensive list of where i see caroline’s emotions / relationships with the people who survived the great tvd / to charcter massacre of 2017/2018

alaric.     as far as people from her past go, ric is obviously the one she keeps in contact with most because of the twins. they’re close, and they’re definitely like The Dream Team of supernatural dealings, but they have their issues as well. i don’t imagine he tells her the full brunt of everything happening at the school bc they both know she’d come back instantly and drop all merge-research on the spot if she thought there was a present danger to the twins. so as much as they lean on one another, there’s always a baseline level of lying that goes along with it. i also imagine they have a tendency to fight a lot and butt heads about certain things as well, especially regarding the girls, his attention to them vs the rest of the school / students ( hope ), how to go about lizzie’s illness, josie’s inability to let herself take priority, and anything going on with the school. she worries a lot about him drinking or doing too much without looking out for himself. and while the girls probably know they tried to romance route, it’s pretty obvious that for the most part, they’re a platonic pair. additionally: the twins know nothing about original-ric torturing caroline in season 3, or killing her father. 

bonnie.     as always, bonnie is her rock. they probably stay in contact a bunch, bonnie is the one she goes to for all magical advice and help and where to go / what to try to fix the merge situation. that being said, however, she very much respects bonnie’s need for privacy and separation from mystic falls. there’s probably always going to be a bit of a strain on their relationship because of the stefan / enzo thing, but it’s not something that ever gets too far in the middle of their relationship.

damon.     strangely enough, damon is probably the person she calls / goes to when she needs someone to kinda...snap her back into gear? he’s definitely not one to put a positive spin on things, or sugar coat them. and while they’ll never be best friends, they share a weird closeness of “hey we both lost like 90% of the people we loved most and that sucks.” he’s the one she goes out with on the anniversary of stefan’s death or her mom’s death, and they probably just kinda sit in mutual silence and drink. any time there’s a change in something big at the salvatore school, she’ll probably ask him for his blessing as well, bc she does want everything to be done in stefan’s legacy and damon is the one that knew stefan best. 

elena.     still her best friend, still super close, but she also recognizes that elena probably wants to just go on and live a normal life and start a family and be happy after everything that happened and she respects that. she’ll definitely babysit elena’s kids and help her out when she’s studying for boards and tests and stuff, but she tries her hardest to keep her continued involvement within the supernatural world far, far away from the doppelganger.

freya.     obviously this one is strictly headcanon based bc as far as canon showed, caroline has never met freya, nor knows of her existence. but! it doesn’t mean they’re not networked, and she’s probably called / texted at least once to see if she has any familiarity with gemini magic and if she knows anyone that’ll be able to help break the merge curse. additionally, she’ll keep freya in her speed dial in case something happens with hope and she thinks she needs a visit from a family member.

hope.     the closest way to describe how she feels about hope is to say that she loves her like a daughter, but very much recognizes that hope is not her daughter and in no way has an interest in replacing hayley as a mother figure. nor would she ever try and step into that role. she recognizes and  respects how important alaric is to hope, and she’s not going to try and step into that, but at the same time she’s also 150% there to support the tribrid in whatever she needs. whether it be someone to talk / vent to, someone who can tell her the non-history books versions of her parents / family, or who just kind’ve gets it.

jeremy.     again, they probably don’t talk a whole lot just because she wants to respect his distance from the supernatural community, but at the same time...he’s the closest thing to a little brother she’s ever had so you bet your buttons she’s gonna be a little bit overbearing whenever he’s in town, trying to make sure he’s happy and okay and has everything he needs, etc.

josie.     her literal rock that she “never has to worry about” and yet always worries about for that very reason. she’ll always carve out extra time for josie just to try and remind her that it’s okay to take the spotlight sometimes, and speak up for herself. she’s really, really protective of her and as much as she knows josie is usually fine, she knows that --- much like elena, and herself --- every soft and caring person has their breaking point and josie, at some point, is going to reach hers.

kai.     if that guy ever sets foot within a hundred miles of the twins, she’s going to skewer him and roast him on a spit.

lizzie.     definitely her mini-me, almost to a fault. it’s probably “obvious” to most people that she and lizzie are close, but i imagine they butt heads pretty often because lizzie has a tendency to make some very caroline choices and as much as caroline recognizes that, she’s also not a fan of it. suffice to say, she’s 100% sure liz forbes is rolling over in her grave laughing and proclaiming that karma is a bitch.

matt.     honestly? they probably fall out of touch, which sucks, but also...matt definitely doesn’t seem to have any interest or desire to stick around supernatural creatures, and she definitely respects that. 

penelope.     oh boy, is...probably not a fan of josie’s ex? just out of solidarity? and as much as she appreciates there being someone out there that is 100% looking out for josie’s interests at all times and is 100% team josie she’s not a fan at all of penelope’s methods of tearing down lizzie in the process. not that she’ll ever explicitly show / state it, because she’s headmistress and supposed to be unbiased here, but...yeah. 

rebekah.     fucking fight me on this, i guarantee they’ve met up in paris at least once or twice to go shopping / drinking / dancing to just kind’ve like...retain a sense of normalcy. they still bicker a lot. they’ll literally never stop bickering. but at this point in her life, she’s probably too tired fighting other battles to keep pretending she entirely loathes the original. pls don’t crush my rebekoline friendship dreams.

I'm in love with your siremy domestic headcanons??? But as much as I love fluff I would also like to have some angsty ones, like jealousy or fights headcanons :)))

So this kinda turned into a sort of one shot as opposed to hc’s and I apologize profusely about that. I hope that this is okay, tbh it’s my first time writing angst. I’m more of a fluff writing kind of gal but hey I tried! Thank for the request lovely💓

Simon gets jealous VERY easily. It’s a trait he hates about himself and often causes arguments between him and Jeremy.

Jeremy thinks Simon’s jealousy is rooted from the internalized homophobia he had back in high school. Simon seems to think other gay men are ‘gayer and therefore more appealing’ which makes “absolutely no fucking sense” as Jeremy always reminds him.

“How can someone be more gayer than just being gay? Do you even hear yourself right now?”

The truth is Simon’s jealousy is rooted from his insecurities. He always felt that he wasn’t good enough for Jeremy, that Jeremy was the one that put more into their relationship even though Simon has never loved anyone as much as he loves him. The only man he’s ever loved. The only person he’s ever loved.

When they are out and another boy so much as looks at Jeremy, Simon feels his heart sink. He’s terrified that Jeremy will find someone better than him. Even now, after all this time, Simon still struggles with who he is. Not as much as before but sometimes the glances they get when they’re holding hands in public put him off and he feels weird.

But he’s afraid to tell Jeremy because he doesn’t want him to think that he doesn’t want to be with him or that he doesn’t love him, because he does, sometimes too much. Like this one time.

Simon has a burning hatred for Jason. Jason being a boy that goes to the same gym as Jeremy. Clearly gay and clearly interested in Jeremy.

Simon goes to pick up Jeremy from the gym one night and finds him outside talking. Jason. Simon feels the anger and jealousy burn in his chest. He trusts Jeremy of course. But he doesn’t trust Jason.

He’s edgy and tense on the way home. He has a feeling Jeremy knows why. He doesn’t want to go there, he really doesn’t, but his feelings have been fueling for so long and he feels like he’s going to explode.

And he does. Everything comes out. His fears, his doubts, his jealousy, his anger, everything. It’s the worst fight they’ve ever had. Insults and curses are thrown back and forth. It becomes a war between the two. They are screaming and shouting, neither being able to calm down.

Now we all know that Simon is an emotional guy. He’s a great actor but one thing that faults him is his inability to hold back tears.

Jeremy’s heart wrenches whenever he sees Simon crying. No matter the situation, he always hugs him close, squeezing him as tight as he can, making sure he knows that he’ll never let go, not until Simon has calmed down. It used to be the only way Jeremy could calm him down back when they first started dating and Simon would argue with his father. He would drive over to Jeremy’s house, in a mass of tears and Jeremy wouldn’t say a word, he would just pull him close.

But not this time.

Jeremy is crying now too. It hurts him to see Simon this way. His heart is screaming out, telling him to go over and wipe away his tears. But his head is telling him no.

They are both silent. Both being completely shocked at how far they’ve let this go. It’s clearly something that has been sitting on their relationship for a while, something that they’ve been choosing to ignore. Suddenly, Jermey speaks up, his voice calm and barely above a whisper.

“How is this relationship ever going to work? You’re supposed to fucking trust me. Do you seriously think that I would ever cheat on you? You? The boy that I waited so long for simply because of how much I loved you. I mean, do you even want to be with me anymore? How do I know that you’re not just going to leave one day? Huh? Just suddenly decide that all of this was a mistake? Sometimes I feel like this relationship is completely one sided”

Simon’s heart breaks. He knows exactly why Jeremy feels this way. He knows exactly what he is talking about. He watches Jeremy pick up the keys and leave, slamming the door behind him without a word.

His mind is racing, there are tears flowing down his cheeks. He can’t do this anymore. He can’t go on like this.

His head is telling him that Jeremy deserves better. He doesn’t need you. Someone like Jason could treat him better than you could. He deserves someone confident and proud, not someone like you.

Simon can’t get his head to shut up.

Maybe it’s time to do the right thing and end it. He cries some more, walking around the apartment they share. He wonders why he ever starting dating Jeremy. It was back in high school and Simon wasn’t out, but Jeremy played the long game and they had a secret relationship. And now, even though Simon is out and has partially accepted himself, he still feels that things haven’t changed.

Jermey deserves someone better. 4 words that continuously race through his mind. He doesn’t want to ever let him go, but decides that it’s what’s best for Jeremy.

So, he packs a bag.

Sitting down at the kitchen table of their small but cozy apartment, he begins to write a note.

“Dear Jeremy, Firstly, I want to say how sorry I am. Not just for tonight but for everything. I never meant for this to happen. I never meant to hurt you this way and trust me, it’s killing me inside. I’m not the person you need. I wish I could be. I really do. But I can’t change the way I am. I want you to know that you are the most incredible human being that I have ever laid my eyes upon. I don’t know what I ever did to deserve your love. And I’m so sorry that I wasted it. I’m sorry that I couldn’t give back to you. But believe me when I say, it’s there. You own my heart and you always will. But this is for the best. You deserve someone that won’t be afraid to hold your hand in public, someone that doesn’t care what other people think, someone that can give you all that love in return and not let insecurity ruin the best thing that’s ever happened to them in their entire life. I’m so sorry.

I love you. forever and always, Simon.”

Later that night, a slightly tipsy Jermey arrives home to a cold and empty apartment.

He eventually stumbles upon the note.

No.

This can’t be happening.

Suddenly he is completely stone sober, the shock putting all of his senses on high alert. He pulls out his phone, tears streaming down his face, his heart racing in his chest.

No answer.

He frantically calls again.

Voicemail.

Simon’s voice makes Jeremy fall to the floor, he is sobbing and feels like he can’t breathe. His body not reacting well to the mix of alcohol, anger, fear, betrayal and complete heartbreak.

It’s been a week. Still no word. Jeremy sleeps on Simon’s side of the bed every night. Somehow hoping he’d wake up to Simon telling him to move over, like he always does. But nothing.

He has no idea where Simon is. No one does. Not even Lilette.

Jeremy can’t stand it. All he wants to do is kiss him and tell him that he is good enough, what they have is good enough and will always be good enough for him.

He swears that when he comes back, he’ll kill him for putting him through so much pain.

But that’s the thing, it’s been 4 weeks and he still hasn’t come home. Not a word nor a sign.

5 weeks.

6 weeks.

7 weeks.

8 weeks.

9 weeks.

10 weeks later, Simon Saunders pulls up outside the gym. His heart stops beating when he sees him outside. He’s standing there alone, he has headphones on and is looking down at his phone.

Simon waits for a bit, every bit of his being is screaming at him to get out of the car. There is a war going on between his head and his heart.

His heart almost wins when suddenly he sees another car pull up. A tall, dark, well built boy jumps out and a smile spreads across Jeremy’s face.

Jason.

A tear slips down Simon’s cheek. He watches them talk for a moment, before Jason heads in alone. Jeremy doesn’t move. He has this weird feeling. Like something is telling him to stay.

“This is for the best”. He nods, another tear slipping down his cheek, and finally drives away.

Jeremy is left standing there. Unaware of what just happened. A part of him is missing and he is desperately trying to find it. He searches his surroundings, nothing.

Simon drives to the airport, completely crushed and broken as he has been for the past 10 weeks. He knows what he did was wrong. It was more than wrong, it was utterly fucked up. He convinces himself that it was the only way. Like ripping off a band aid. He hoped Jermey would be okay and, by the looks of it, he finally was. Little did he know that he was getting worse by the day. His depression and loneliness and heartbreak completely taking him over.

Jeremy cries himself to sleep every night. Every day it gets harder for him to cope. He feels like Simon has died and he is mourning his death. How can he just disappear like this? How could he do this to him? Not one lousy call or text to tell him that he’s okay. No one knows where he’s gone. No one knows what he’s doing.

Jeremy is angry, so fucking angry, but he knows that if Simon walked through those doors right now, he’d forgive him in a heartbeat. He would give absolutely anything to have Simon with him, to kiss him again, to wake up beside him again. He’s going insane.

One night, his phone buzzes and he picks it up. A message from a private number.

‘I’m okay. I’m sorry but this is for the best. I promise.’

After realizing he can’t call or text the number back, Jeremy absolutely loses it. He starts breaking things, he knocks everything off of the kitchen counter, sliding down the wall and hitting the floor like a dramatic scene from a movie.

It’s been 10 months. He’s sitting on the cold floor of the kitchen they once shared together. Tears are streaming down his face and heavy sobs are making his body shake. He clutches the note to his chest. The same words ringing in his head.

“I love you. Forever and always.”

Tyler Lockwood for the meme

How I feel about this character: 

Love him. He’s one of the most well rounded characters and has the most development of all of them. He goes from an complete asshole and near rapist to a loyal, loving, caring person I could respect, and did the transformation in an entirely convincing way. He is the redemption arc the writers wished the “anti-heroes” of the show had and yet they took no notes from it.

All the people I ship romantically with this character:

Bonnie: I think I ship him with her most right now. This is a ship I most ship due to fanfiction but fanfic is making me realize how compatible they would be. I already headcanon that they lost their virginity together, but there was a whole lot more they could have done with them. First they’re the only of their kind that’s a main character, they’re the only POC’S and as such they’re the worst treated characters, and they’re both very loyal and understand that the stakes are higher than Mystic Falls (Tyler moreso than Bonnie). They have so man parallels it’s ridiculous, I have a post in my drafts that notes them and when I’m finished I will post it. Secondly, this is more of a symptom of fanfic, but they’re so adorable together especially added with the fact that they’ve known each other they’re whole lives and it plays out so well in fanfic and would have played out really well in the show. And lastly, it’s one of those many, many ships that we were robbed of due to Plec’s racism, so not getting them makes me want them even more.

Caroline: Despite the fact that Tyler gets paired with her because Plec didn’t want him with Bonnie, and despite the fact that she’s the reason he has his screen time cut, Forewood was quite cute together. 4x06 has soured a lot of my initial feelings about them together but in the long run they were cute together in the time they had. 

Jeremy: I mildly ship this one, I do wish they wouldn’t have stopped their screen time together but something bothers about the idea that they only reason Jeremy cares about him is because he has a crush on him and vise versa. This one that I can’t quite separate the TVD writing with the ship because I know that’s exactly how Plec would play it out and then both characters would have ended up dead by the end of the season. But separating the ship from the writing it could have been great and added more depth to Tyler’s character, but I never felt he was missing much depth. He’s the character they unknowingly gave the most depth and then ignored. All in all it’s a solid ship for him.   

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Matt: Face it, he was a good friend to Tyler despite Tyler not being the best friend back to him, which does change, and he’s the only one to show any emotions at his funeral. He’s also always there to make him feel better when he’s seriously down and Tyler gave him his house. I can’t discount aby of that, Matt is Tyler’s best friend. 

Jeremy: He’s on here again, but I guess that’s because I like them more as friends. I like it when romance isn’t the driving factor for two characters to interact which is probably why I latched on to them more as friends when I watched the show before they completely dropped them all together

Bonnie: I’m putting her on here again because with how much they have in common added with growing up together I find it ridiculous that they aren’t at the very least friends. She brought him back from the dead for Christ sake they should have definitely been on more friendly terms (and he should have at least thanked her for it).

My unpopular opinion about this character

He is the worst treated male character on the show which doesn’t sound that unpopular, but most people think that Stefan is the worst treated because he lost Elena, or Matt because he’s against vampires, or Jeremy because he’s compelled to forget a lot. Tyler was the worst treated male and Bonnie was the worst treated female which isn’t surprising since they’re both POC’s. He’s shoved off screen for unnecessary amounts of time, has his major developments with his werewolfism??? developed off screen and is put through the most physical pain compared to not only the the other male characters, but as a werewolf. When you see the other werewolves turn they are never in as much pain as Tyler was. His treatment as a character almost completely mirrors Bonnie’s the only difference is that it’s to a much lesser degree and on some level it can be seen as retribution for his behavior in season 1 where Bonnie never did anything to deserve that. However that brings up another issue which is why is he the only one to have to pay and in such a violent manner, but let’s not go down that rabbit hole.

He was more important to the plot than Caroline. That one actually is objectively an unpopular opinion especially with how beloved Caroline is. But I’ve pointed it out before, Caroline is a run of the mill vampire in a show filled with vampires and Tyler is the sole werewolf on a show that just kills them off like they’re nothing. He could have easily been who they explore werewolves and they’re lore through, but they brought on Hayley and chose to explore it on another show. Although note something: Tyler doesn’t spend that much time as a werewolf–he triggers it at the beginning of S2 and is a hybrid by the beginning of S3–and when he becomes a hybrid, he becomes one of many, losing what made him unique as a character making him just like everyone else because the Hybrids were mostly enhanced vampire in the way that vampires were just enhanced human. I could theorize that that was the first step in tearing down his character, but we don’t have that kind of time.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

There are a lot of things I wish for this character but I guess if I’m going to narrow it down to one it would be for him to have never been a Hybrid. That’s when he completely loses his agency and becomes a slave to Klaus, that’s when the show started shoving him off screen more, but only to facilitate Klaroline, and that’s when his story stops being his own and he’s just lumped together with the rest of the MFG and is expected to follow along with them. If he’d have stayed a werewolf, I have no doubt that his screen time still would have been cut, but it would have given way to explore werewolves and the Lockwood’s more because much like Bonnie there’s a bit a mystery there with Tyler and how little was known about the curse. (But make it known thee’s A LOT MORE not known about the Bennett’s and more potential there.) Tyler staying a werewolf left a lot more potential for his character and would have screwed him over waay less just due to not being a slave alone, but in a lot more ways.

BMC Headcanons

I have literally been thinking about this all day so

Christine knows sign language and taught Jeremy and Michael some and now they wont stop signing “i love you” at each other

(Rich doesnt know sign language and thinks theyre pretending to be at a rock concert)

Christine loves Disney and makes references all the time but Rich doesnt understand them bc hes never seen a Disney movie so she makes him watch a bunch of them

(his favorite it “Tangled”)

Michael drinks weed tea bc “I’m a refined stoner”

Rich is a musical buff so he and Christine sing musicals all the time together

Christine is also a history buff and her favorite musical is “Hamilton”

Rich is actually really good at sewing/cooking/etc bc his dad wont do any of that so he had to learn himself

✦ H, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Bellatrix Lestrange. “Her obsession with the Dark Lord is purely rooted on his ideas, and his voice. She is in no way romantically or physically attracted to him, even if at some point she wishes that she was. what she is ‘in love with’ is everything he says about his cause, how he views the world changing once he has won, and the dark, deranged, passion he has to have it come about. She will continue to stand behind him even after he fails, for this purpose alone. This is why she is so adamant to get him back, without him she thinks that they will continue to fail.” Definitely my favourite headcanon of the application. Bellatrix’s obsession with Lord Voldemort is something somewhat crucial to her character, and it’s both really original and bold that you were willing to give that a psychological explanation. I can’t wait to see her in action!

However if something or someone really gets to her, she won’t shy away from a physical altercation. This is something she’s not proud of; given her propensity to try and fit in and emulate what she believes it’s the proper behaviour of a pureblood lady. As a child she was encouraged to take ballet like many of the wealthy daughters of the families her parents frequented. She was expelled from her dancing class at the age of thirteen because she threatened her dance teacher with her wand after the man called her “spineless little girl without an ounce of grace.” That was the moment she started getting interested in Quidditch, and her parents allowed the new hobby if only to tame her snappy temper.” Such an original interpretation and an amazing twist to the skeleton! She loves plants, flowers and before graduating she was known for fighting for a great variety - and sometimes a little strange - causes; such as house-elves, goblins and even the Giant Squid’s rights. It is said that Filch still has many of the protest banners she used to paint in bright colours, obviously stored and confiscated.” This headcanon might seem a little silly, but I personally think it’s amazing how you gave Lauren such a defined personality and took into account the context and the hippie culture of the 60s and 70s while writing her story. His mother could only kiss his forehead, watching as the tears fell to the threadbare carpet, and tell her son that everything happens for a reason, that our pain makes us weak so that we can depend on the Lord who makes us strong. Over time, the words lost their meaning, and everything else in his life along with it. Every breath was like walking through cement, struggling to keep his head above water for a life not worth living. His father had built a life, a reputation, upon helping the people of the world, and Remus could hardly even help himself.” This quote absolutely killed me! I absolutely love how much detailed you’ve put into Remus’ history and his inner thoughts. I’m super eager to see him in this universe!

✦ Ella, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Cassius Mulciber. “What drives him is the moment he stands on the precipice, wand in hand, dozens cowering before him, dozens more in his thrall, and knows he is truly great. There’s a reason the imperius curse is his signature. Mortals  could never understand the power that flows through his veins, that sparks from his fingers, drips from his tongue. Dance for me, Bow to me, Jump off a bridge for me. Cassius is divine. The Death Eaters offer him a way to the top, one which recognises his superiority and which is unbound by the rules and laws the mudbloods cling so tightly to.” Amazing description of a true villain! I have a particular soft spot for darker characters (says the person who plays Alecto and Rodolphus) and I can’t wait to see how this new stage of the war affects Cassius. Your Face Claim change to Jeremy Dufour has been approved.

✦ Riley, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Mafalda Hopkirk. “Mafalda would never describe herself as anything other than a supporter of Mafalda.  To do anything else would be a dangerous, destructive decision.  An unfortunate side-effect of taking a side was that the side you did not choose began to count you among their enemies – nothing about the war that encompassed most of her adolescence  was worth creating enemies over. Taking a side meant taking a risk, and as a half-blood in an industry dominated by the Pureblood elite, there were only certain types of risks she was willing to take.It just so happened that in as far as her career went, the Death Eaters were more often the ones who were in a position to propel her forward.  For that reason, most of the world would see her as a Death Eater supporter.” Mafalda is clearly a character who’s a victim of her circumstances, and I believe you did a splendid job describing just that. That’s pretty much why I chose this part of your application. A spot on description! Amazing job!

✦ Grace, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Edgar Bones. “He realizes his anger is a problem when he finds himself standing in his parents’ living room, having just yelled at them for…something. It’s not important what they were discussing, it was ages ago; what is important is the fact that they’re staring up at him like they don’t even recognize him. His face is beet red and he can barely catch his breath, but that doesn’t matter in this moment. All he feels is shame overcoming every centimeter of his body. There’s no way to talk his way out of this one, no way to laugh it off in that way he’s grown adept at. The moment becomes one of his biggest regrets, though he has more than just a few. But, like there is with many things, there’s a bright side: from it he learns, he grows, he changes.” I really liked this part of the application because it’ such a nice way of show how the war and the loss affected Edgar, and how it’s his nature to survive and persevere. I can’t wait to see how his story plays out!

✦ Mallory, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Amos Diggory. “Amos closed his eyes against the rushing, grey nothingness. He thought of his grandmother, in the stands, watching him run towards the dirt. He couldn’t help feeling the knot he knew would be rising in his throat, a scream he wouldn’t be able to voice, rise in his own throat. Amos called again, this time aloud: “Accio broom!” The team liked his tenacity, that’s what they said. They lost the match – nothing to one fifty – but the Cannons took him on anyway. From the Cannons, he joined the Arrows, and then Puddlemore United. Two years on, the national team found him in the local pub and convinced him to come out for open try outs. The rest, he guesses, is literally history, if only to the readers of Seeker Weekly.” Yes, yes, I’m choosing a quote about Quidditch; but I think this was such a nice way of summarising Amos’ personality and how he always seems so effortlessly lucky. With the war starting again and the situation with his wife, I can’t wait to see what happens! Your Face Claim change to Kit Harington has been approved.

✦ Cal, you’ve been accepted to play the role of Sirius Black. “He spent his whole life preparing for a war, ready and willing to be a martyr and the downfall of his family name. But with Voldemort gone, the enemy has become, scattered, less clear, and well aware he’s coming for them. He feels as though there’s nothing he can do, nothing that won’t earn him a few years in Azkaban. But that doesn’t ease the anger that eats at him like rot, chipping a little part of him away until the only thing left is the anger. He’s trying to find a purpose for it, an outlet, but all he wants is revenge.” I love this headcanon because it explains perfectly Sirius’ struggle between his willingness to do good and protect his friends, and his inner demons and bitter feelings towards the purists and the Death Eaters. I can’t wait to see how this develops! Amazing job!

Just a Memo - Boyf riends

Title: Just a Memo

Word Count: 1822

Pairing: Jeremy Heere x Michael Mell (boyf riends/Meremy)

Warnings: None unless you consider dorks being dorks objectionable

A/N: This originally started out as a headcanon so the writing style is more informal-ish towards the beginning.  Also this is my first piece of actual fanfic ever so bear with me here. :’D

Jeremy still sometimes hears the Squip talking in his head.  It’s so faint though, that he’s not really sure if it’s just his own thoughts or if it actually is the Squip.  Either way he doesn’t tell anyone.  Maybe, he thinks, it’ll just go away on its own.  No, the voice says, It can’t be gotten rid of that easily.  But nevertheless, Jeremy continues to live as though there weren’t possibly the ghost of a half-mad supercomputer embedded in his brain.  

One day he notices his left hand moving of its own accord (to do what, he had no idea) and flips the fuck out— but regains control of it immediately after panicking and flailing it around for a second.  This type of thing starts happening on occasion; usually just small actions probably meant to inconvenience him.  That time he caught himself aiming a crumpled ball of paper at the back of a teacher’s head was one of the more notable ones.  Oh, and that time he poured a glass of water on himself probably qualifies as well.  

Jeremy realizes that he really can’t deny the Squip’s presence at this point, but it hasn’t tried to do anything super malicious, so he decides to wait things out before taking any drastic action.  One day he sees his hand reaching for a pen on its own.  Normally he’d jerk it back on reflex and that would be it, but he decides to leave it alone and see what happens.  His hand picks up the pen and starts writing on a scrap piece of paper.  Definitely not his handwriting, he notes with a mix of apprehension and curiosity.  Then it stops.

Jeremy hurriedly looks down.  Shit.  

After remedying the situation, he stops for a moment to direct a mental ‘thank you’ at the Squip.  Hell, that’s probably the nicest thing it’s ever done for him.  And so it continues.  Every so often he’ll notice his nondominant hand moving of its own accord, writing a helpful (or not-so-helpful) suggestion courtesy of the Squip.  The notes are brief— no more than a sentence or two.  He’ll usually follow them if the advice doesn’t seem too fishy.  

One day Jeremy’s at the school library with Michael, both of them studying for an upcoming math test.  Well, Michael’s the one doing most of the studying.  It’s not for lack of trying on Jeremy’s part, it’s just he keeps finding himself distracted by Michael.  It’s not his fault that Michael bites his lip in the cutest way when he’s figuring out a tough problem, or that the sunlight dancing across his face makes him look like some kind of angel, or that his hair looks so incredibly soft and touchable that Jeremy really wants to run his fingers through it.  Man, he thinks, some girl’s gonna be so lucky to have him someday.  

He shakes his head and turns back to the study guide for what must be the fifth time when he finds his hand moving to write a note from the squip.  It’s become a common enough occurrence that he’s not too fazed by it, but he’d really like to make some headway on this problem, so he’ll just check the note once he’s finished.  His Squip-controlled hand sets down the pen and taps on the desk impatiently.  In a minute, Jeremy thinks.  But the Squip isn’t having it apparently, because it slides the study guide off the table.  He curses under his breath and reaches to pick it up when the Squip suddenly forces him to wipe something else off the table.   It’s the note.  

A S K  H I M  O U T  A L R E A D Y.   

What?!  Jeremy has to stifle a snort.  He’s obviously not gay, as evidenced by his massive crush on Christine.  The Squip must be more broken than he thought.

His hand snatches a pen off the table and scribbles on the back of the note.  Jeremy thinks he can almost hear an exasperated sigh in the back of his mind.

Y O U R  O B L I V I O U S N E S S  I S  K I L L I N G  ME.

Jeremy’s face reddens a bit as he crumples the note and resumes studying.  But he still can’t concentrate, thanks to the Squip’s comment.  So what if he thinks Michael’s attractive?  Doesn’t mean he’s gay.  It’s not like he wants to make out with Michael, or hold hands with him, or cuddle with him, or…

Fuck.

Well it doesn’t matter either way.  Michael’s probably straight as a board, and even if he weren’t, he could do so much better than Jeremy.  Not that he’s jealous or anything.  Just stating the facts.  Jeremy’s a just another hopeless nerd, but Michael’s so cool in his own way and he doesn’t even know it.  Guys like him are cool in college.  Guys like Jeremy just fade into the background.  But regardless, he has a math test to study for.  

Less than ten minutes later he finds his hand moving to write another note.  He considers jerking it away but can’t bring himself to do it.

“Dude!  You never told me you were ambidextrous!”  Michael practically jumps out of his chair in excitement.  He leans across the table to get a better look at Jeremy’s squip-controlled hand, which suddenly stops writing and moves to cover the note.

“What— oh,” Jeremy freezes up.  Sure enough, he’d been working a math problem with his right hand while the Squip wrote a note with his left, “Uh, yeah… I guess it just never came up?  It’s really not a big deal.”  A light blush dusts his cheeks as Michael picks up his hand and stares at it in amazement.  Jeremy figures it’s probably best to just let Michael believe this whole ambidextrous thing instead of telling him the Squip is back and has taken to spontaneously writing notes of advice with his nondominant hand.

“Not a big deal?!” Michael cries, “Are you serious?  Only two percent of humanity is ambidextrous, you happen to be one of them, and you’re telling me that it’s not a big deal?  It’s freaking AWESOME!”

“If you’re about to say we should celebrate this by getting stoned in your basement, I’m gonna have to pass.”  Jeremy deadpans as he gently removes his hand from Michael’s.  Have his hands always been this soft?  

“GASP!” Swooning dramatically, Michael clutches his chest and falls back into the chair “I AM HURT.”  

“I’m sure you’ll survive.” Jeremy says with a laugh.  Even if the Squip were right about him liking Michael, he decides it wouldn’t be worth risking their friendship.  The pain of losing moments like these greatly outweighs the possible benefits of confessing— BUT there’s nothing to confess so it doesn’t matter anyway!  He glances toward Michael, who has gone back to his study guide and is doing that cute lip biting thing again…

... Okay so maybe there’s a little that could possibly be confessed.  

Michael gestures towards the note currently covered by Jeremy’s Squip-writing hand. “So what were you writing anyway?  With that hand, I mean.”

Jeremy freezes.  Just when he thought he was in the clear too.

“How do you even take two sets of notes at once?” Michael muses, “That’d have to involve some serious parallel processing capacity on your part.”

“Uh— it’s nothing,” Jeremy says a little too quickly.  He’s sweating bullets.

“Oh?”  Michael raises an eyebrow, “Well if it’s nothing, then I’m sure you won’t mind if I just—” he moves to snatch the note but Jeremy slaps his hand back over it.

“I-It’s just a memo,” he stutters unconvincingly as his face turns bright red.  Is the Squip seriously trying to set them up?

“Just a memo?” Michael grins wickedly and slaps his hand over Jeremy’s own to wrestle for the note, “Gee, you’re awfully cagey about it for being something that’s ‘just a memo’.”

“AUGH— Come on man!”  Try as he might, it’s a losing battle.  Jeremy’s left hand seems to be actively betraying him as he struggles to keep the note away from Michael.  Goddamn Squip is probably laughing it up right now.  They grapple a few more seconds before Michael emerges victorious with the note.  Jeremy’s face falls and he can feel a pit forming in his stomach.  There’s only seconds until their friendship is ruined.

“AHA!” Michael raises it high in the air like a victory trophy.  “Time to see what dark secrets—” his triumph turns to shock, and his lips part in an ‘o’ shape as he stares at the note. “...Oh…”

“I-It’s not what you think!”  Jeremy laughs nervously, knowing full well there’s no way out of this.  He’s awaiting Michael’s response like a prisoner waiting for execution.

“You sure about that?” Michael begins, blushing hard, “Because, I mean, this seems pretty…” he searches carefully for his next words, “...straight-forward.”

Jeremy’s sure there’s nothing he could do to make this any worse.  But naturally he finds a way.  “...Pun intended?”  He buries his face in his hands as he realizes what he just said.

Michael just stares at him for a moment.  His expression is unreadable.  Then he starts to laugh softly, in that way Jeremy always thought was so cute but now couldn’t be more worrying to hear. “Oh my god... Jeremy.”  He sighs as though he’s been holding his breath for a long time, “You big dork.”  He says as his face breaks into a smile.  

Jeremy looks up.  His heart is racing a million miles an hour it’s pounding so loudly he’s sure Michael can hear it.  “Wait, you’re not…” he trails off.  Mad?  Straight?  Interested?  He’s not sure what he’d prefer at this point.  It feels like he’s floating, ready to drop into freefall or soar into the sky at any moment.

Michael grins, “I really like you too.”

His heart soars.

“I have for a while now.”  Michael admits sheepishly,  “I just thought you didn’t, uh, swing that way.”

Jeremy melts right then and there.  He’s pretty sure he would’ve passed out if he hadn’t been sitting down.  God, how didn’t he see it before?  He can hear a faint “I told you so.” in the back of his mind but he doesn’t care.  Michael likes him too and that’s all that matters.  Jeremy gathers his courage and straightens up, a look of intense determination on his face, “D-Do you wanna maybe finish studying back at my place?”  

Michael takes his hand. “I’d like that.”
