Sorry for being such a poopyhead and letting my negative emotions take ahold of me and control my thought process for nearly 3 days guys anyways self-esteem has been recovered (somewhat) and now I'm just doing a colorblind challenge using Caine to test if I can still paint

(I disabled colors on my screens and therefore CANNOT see any of the colors even in this screenshot, I'm relying purely on values and all I can see are black and whites) (EDIT: Okay, I forgot the exception to this challenge was Caine's eyes because I wanted it to be the same as his original palette just in case this attempt's palette was too unrecognizable.)

I also discovered I like cooking as a hobby during those 3 days of self-reflection. I should stop being terminally online more often

Jason’s den in the back of Cabin One is made out of a pair of bunk beds in an L shape pushed into a corner to make up the missing walls. All of the mattresses are on the floor, layered two thick in every direction creating a soft padded bottom. There is storage and table space on the hardwood left from the bed frames, many soft pillows and blankets pushed to the edges to make a soft padded sleep space, and Jason has taken scrap fabric from the Athena and Aphrodite cabins to blanket fort the place.

Its a perfect den. No one can see in, especially the looming face of his dads effigy, but Jason has a few peek holes through the fabric to see out. And when two people sleep in there it gets nice and comfy toasty against the harsh upper atmosphere chill the marble walls radiate

And Leo has always looked so good splayed out and cozy in it. He teases Jason about his dog brain all the time, but he always leans in so hard about it. Jason has an inkling that his husband actually enjoys the den part of his ‘dog brain’, Leo sure acts like it when he settles into the little den Jason has in his office, squirming all happy on his back for a moment before relaxing.

Leo does that now, letting Jason carry him into the den in One. He doesn't react when Jason pushes through the old riding blanket covering the entrance, all happy cuddly like he gets sometimes when they smoke. He stays a content goo puddle when Jason lays him out in the middle of the softest part of the padded floor, taking off his sneakers before he climbs in over his Leo

“You sure you're okay?” Jason checks, kissing his husband's cheek and forehead softly

“Yeah, I'm green” Leo sighs, wriggling a little to make himself comfortable and toeing off his own shoes at his heels. All safe tucked in and protected by Jason’s domain. How pretty he looks bending at the waist as he settles himself in, like he's rolling over for Jason “Everything just feels, bigger. I want you bigger”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.” he reaches for Jason’s face, expression soft “Please touch me”

Jason doesn't touch him right away, not in the way he wants him to, but he sure does kiss him.

so this is another fic I started on my vacation (I started three, and had one idea I haven't started yet lol - and one is already posted) - also, the two weeks here might change bc I'm struggling with the timeline (which doesn't matter but also it does lol) but I'll figure it out haha

(I'm still writing all my other wips btw, and gonna get to all the asks, but the writing beans have been gone lately, and I've been too exhausted lol - and my brain is so all over the place with my wips, idk what I wanna get to more)

But he’s also gotten so comfortable with Tommy in such a short time, and it doesn't even really feel new anymore, he knows it must be just him, must be Tommy making him feel like a giddy teen with a crush. Except the way this feels… Buck’s a grown man with tons of experience, and he knows how infatuation feels, how a simple crush and attraction feels, how real love feels. And he knows, deep down in his core, in his soul, in his heart, that this is real, that this is definitely more than a crush. This is what love feels like.
