I remember one night being so pissed about the idea of Boopkins being initially a Spike because: “of all the fucking Mario character they chose one that I don’t remember seeing underwater what the hell” yeah I overthink stuff, specially when don’t make sense
Like for the fankids (talking about the adopted kids) I have reason of why they look like that or just the theme
Example Hinata, with her I have to figure out how her design not human form would look like or have the concept of what she is supposed to be. The idea ~fish~ from Mario, following the idea of Boopkins original form; I choose a Cheep Cheep because I couldn’t find something and done!
only to when I finished her design remember the mermaids from Mario Odyssey fucking god I hate myself sometimes
Same goes to Gemma, which is a gerudo because Bob original design is from Zelda, a garo, so yeah everything is connected

So I went to the wikipedia to see if there was an explanation (considering that they are directs and stuff, come on the series is 13 years old, there must be a lot of information (also when I read Smg3 and Axol trivia sections I found some interesting information that changed everything)), for none surprise I found it

I keep thinking about Merlin’s love for Arthur and how it’s so clearly portrayed in the show to the point that it practically drives the plot of the show. However when it comes to Arthur’s love for Merlin it’s more subtle and sometimes difficult to even grasp, and I started thinking why that was, aside from the obvious fact that Arthur has a lot of trouble expressing his emotions affection or otherwise. I think it also lies in the fact that Merlin knows Arthur intrinsically throughout the show; he is one of the closest people to Arthur, and sees him for who he really is. Arthur admits as much.
Sure, Arthur knows Merlin but the main part of the plot is that he really doesn't know Merlin. Merlin wants him to desperately understand him and “see me for who I am” but he can't yet. And I think this subconsciously creates a barrier in the way in which Arthur can care for Merlin, and how Merlin can let himself be seen by Arthur.
Which is why I think he was also so hurt when the magic reveal happens because more than the betrayal of Merlin having magic, it was the betrayal of Merlin not letting Arthur see him for who he really is and for hiding a main part of himself. Arthur says it himself “why did you never tell me” that’s what hurt him the most.
I think the most damning piece of evidence for this is the fact that while we see snippets of Arthur’s feelings for Merlin thought the show, the biggest signs are in the last episode after the magic reveal; in which he finally gets to understand Merlin, and this time REALLY know Merlin, and as the barriers of what held them back from understanding each other truly fall away, Arthur evidently “falls in love with Merlin all over again”. We see him actually express himself to Merlin.
This is another reason why I think if anyone was ever to create another season of Merlin after Arthur’s return, it’s physically impossible not to make it about Merlin and Arthur acknowledging their feelings for each other. Because there is no way forward without them acknowledging how deeply they care for each other, obviously anyone is free to argue what kind of love that is, but its impossible not to see the deep love there either way.
They always knew they loved each other, just maybe never realising how much and what that means, because its almost second nature to everything that they do.

the sneak pics have me wondering why peter feel the need to keep apologizing all the time ? is it because adults used to get mad at him all the time ?
yeah he has a LOTTT of unpacking to do with that. he still thinks that because he did things like this, it gave the adults around him the excuse to yell at/say nasty things to him. peter goes into a lot of detail with Dick about his previous foster homes in chapter 15, and this time Dick knows he has to ask because Peter's response to Dick and Wally realizing he knew about the "glitches" in some way and didn't tell Dick is absolutely heartbreaking

You know, their routes never really talk too much about their fates and how it effects them mentally. Or how the MC feels about it, and dealing with the fear and angst of it with the slight exception of William's route

... I think I know what the sequels are gonna be about
#I am scared both because it will be angsty and because they might not do this and mess up the sequels#from what I can tell Ikemen sequels can be pretty hard to do right#partly because the playerbase has over a year to imagine their own post-route and get attached to that#and because added onto an already finished story can be difficult without potentially accidentally undoing the efforts of the characters#I haven't read a lot of ikemen sequels so I could be wrong#but Ikevil doesn’t have this problem so much because it feels like there are some loose threads left with their relationship and character#not enough that it leaves you unsatisfied but enough that you could definitely expand upon it#I guess the tricky thing then would be expanding upon it in a way that people like#but for me I noticed some of the routes don't feel like one full finished story in terms of their relationship#it feels like the beginning of something#specifically I get that feeling for Liam's and Harrison's route#like the story ends with them getting together because we spent the whole story getting to know each other and learning their backstory#but it still feels like there's stuff to untangle and figure out in a relationship with them#I just hope that some of the sequels will be more slow paced#and whatever Crown mission going on is only meant to enhance the character journey like in Elbert's route#instead of being the main source of drama#but it could depend with the character and what type of story a sequel for them would be best for#like William's sequel being more action-packed and stakes while Liam's is more soft#I feel like that would fit them#thank you for coming to my ted talk#...in the tags#ikevil#ikemen villains#ikemen series

just got a promotionnnnnn
#could lose my job at any time because of The Way Things Are Now and then be immediately unemployable because i've spent#the past 14 years doing incredibly specific work that no one understands lol#so in the meantime i will make the most of my days of being paid to do something thank youuu#it's the best kind of promotion where they change your title to something that sounds more hardcore and give you a raise#but what you have to do doesn't change at all#yes please 👐#me every once in a while over the past decade: what on earth am i going to do when this job ends. i should get some other skills#oh well. that's a problem for future me 😇#i asked my manager if she has any sense of whether our 5yr govt contract will be honored even though i was pretty sure she dk#because how could she? no one knows anything right now#but she did tell me that we will at least have 30 days' notice. and won't suddenly find ourselves laid off with no paycheck#so that's nice#performance reviews are so funny they always make me resolve to slack off more#my manager is like 'you do the work of two or three people in 0.75 FTE'#and i'm like damn i didn't think of it that way. i should be less efficient#but then i forget to do that. because i love efficiency 😞

i just got the nicest chair ever from the street i'm so happy 🤩🤩
#dw guys i live in an old ppl neighborhood and i actually rang the doorbell (so scary) partially to make sure the chair was good to take#and partially bc i wanted to see what kinda household it was (and how clean they are) and apart from a few dog hairs (he was very cute)#it's completely spotless#i shit my pants though bc ringing the doorbell was already so scary i need like 5 mins to even bring up the courage but then i declined when#the woman offered to help me with it the first time and then it didn't fit in my car by a millimeter so i had to ring AGAIN#bc she had a huge ass car in the driveway and luckily she drove the chair to my front door 💖💖💖#but she was so nice like women support women realness right there#but ringing a second time was so embarrassing i said sorry like 294829 times and thank you another 29372948 times#anyway when i finally got the chair in my apartment i also noticed that i don't really have the space for it so 🤡#yeah#i also saw the chair on my way back from work (on my bicycle) then went to get my car and failed the get the chair in and then drove back#with the woman and the chair in her car 🤡🤡🤡#most embarrassing thing i did this week#gonna have to figure out how to solve my space problem tho#i also have to clean the chair bc the thought of getting bed bugs or smth is too scary i need it CLEAN#000

this is my first tav, for my only currently completed playthrough. named her seraphina, she was a wild magic sorcerer elf and she romanced astarion, and she was 100% a goody two shoes. not to flex or anything. always gonna hold a special place in my heart. kinda sad i don't have more screenshots of her. also, i went through this playthrough without any mods!
and then my current playthrough is actually my first durge! i've made a couple so far (my bad), but this is going to be a redeemed/resisting the urges playthrough. her name is aruna, and she's also romancing astarion (what a shocker). she's a storm sorcerer elf you can tell i have a preferred class and race huh. i also caught the wonderful lil sideye exchanged during the gur encounter between her and astarion which i laughed at for a good five minutes. so far, this playthrough has been 100x more chaotic, and is definitely giving her and astarion sharing a brain cell (the blood of lathander quest is still a sensitive topic for our dear pale elf womp womp). she's simply bhaal's god's favorite princess with her crew of scary dog privilege while she fights the voices. (and yes, this playthrough i am using mods. sue me.)
i also have two bard durge playthroughs (one as a tiefling, one as a half-elf), and one of them in a multiplayer campaign with my friend in which uh.... we're gonna do full on evil ! wish me luck !

on today's episode of 'chey is so incredibly stupid', we have me apparently throwing away the lil battery holder in my svt lightstick 7 years ago when I put it in storage
edit: my friend has an extra holder!! LIFESAVER
