I snorted this game like it was coke and it is just as addictive!!!

All levels, all dreams with every confidence challenges, and damn it only left me wanting more.

Solid contender for GOTY in my opinion. Unique art style, charming cast of characters, fun and witty writing, filled with lore that gives you just the right amount of answers to “a wizard-did-it” ratio.

Kellen and Banks were also totally fruity for each other.

And fuck Steve Clark. All my homies hate Steve Clark.

Maybe it was just me but I clocked that tension in the beginning, even when I wasn't into the ship like that (as in it wasn't a ship I thought about given where I started with the anime and manga).

Tuvok & Janeway being normal close friends pre-delta quadrant but becoming irreparably inseparable over the course of their time on Voyager is actually a very funny alternative to them having been besties. Before the horrors they were close but now in the delta quadrant all their neuroses are coming out and new, worse neuroses are being added every day. Janeway's trying to kill herself in increasingly spectacular bouts of heroic sacrifice and Tuvok's too busy proving that he knows her best/will always be by her side to effectively stop her. And for that? He's her best and dearest friend and can have the honor of being the only one to die by her side [which he willingly asks permission to do, btw] ♥

Out of curiosity ever consider writing a Viktanya fanfic?

This might be a disappointing answer, but probably not.

It’s not that I dislike Viktanya or anything, it’s just that I really don’t have any ideas for them. Writing is hard and if I’m not extremely obsessed with something I just can’t get myself to write about it.

Also, there’s lots of Viktanya stuff out there, so I don’t think I have anything to contribute. Since there’s already lots of stuff I’m comfortable sticking with my niche pair lol.

What I love about Warframe as a newcomer is that there doesn't seem to be any sort of shipping wars or fandom discourse at all. I've been into a lot of shooters before (ie. Overwatch, Apex Legends, etc.) so Warframe is a huge breath of fresh, clean air.

it's been one year (+ two weeks) since the dream i had about a Strange and Silly Guy who ended up becoming Ren!! i've never had an oc who's been this important to me, and he's helped me through some difficult times and exhausting issues. he's also the reason why i formally joined the selfship community and met so many cool people!! 💕

i'm so happy to have finally finished this piece to celebrate the day (night?) he dropped into my head almost completely formed, changing my life for the better. gripping him in my fist and squeezing ARGH i love my little Fun Guy... Fungi... so so much, and i hope he always knows that. 😌💖

with my phantom hourglass replay, there are two things i noticed;

a possible theme you could glean from the game is action vs inaction, and i think it's especially prevalent before you even leave mercay the first time, with oshus frequently urging link to not go after the ghost ship, then to just wait until the broken bridge is fixed, and seems reluctant at every turn while link and ciela are more than eager to go and do something about this problem, and the people of mercay in general talking about things and their problems but never seeming to act on their fears or desires, as well as the mention that due to the ghost ship, very very few people are still sailing around, while linebeck is one of the only people we see in the game actively going after the ghost ship and still sailing around. i might make a longer post just talking more about the action vs inaction in phantom hourglass but i just noticed it a bit and thought it was a bit of an interesting sort of theme you could find in the game.

linebeck moves so fucking much. i think he moves more than any npc in the rest of the game. not just in his intro cutscene where he is very animated, just in how much he moves when just standing in his little idle post, it's damn near distracting when the camera is focused on him, he moves a lot. i don't think i've really acknowledged how much he moves, and it really gives the impression that he's antsy or eager to get going, both of which fit him pretty well with how he acts.

Hiya, I wanted to share a kinda weird story and ask a question. Just wanted to say you’re a very talented storyteller and I’ve been thinking of your work a lot. I ended up having a dream about time & time again last night where Steve tries to steal the American flag for a bunch of children. It was a pretty angsty dream but I still found it kinda funny because it seems on brand for Steve lol. Also, for those who can’t afford to buy the books on kickstarter, will there be other options to help fund? If the kickstarter succeeds will you list the books on your website or are they one and done? I hope you’re having a lovely day!

I love how the way you've approached this makes me unable to ignore the first part to be able to answer the second.

To start with the questions though, I'll be making a PDF people can get to help support (that will be included in all tiers)! It should be a fun item for any fan of the series... You'll also be able to get just one book instead of all 4 from season 1. I'm trying to plan some other things, but it's all still very much in development so I'm wary of committing too openly to it!

And I am planning to have the Kickstarter goal fund extra copies for me to put on my site and take to conventions, yes! So if someone can't support when it comes out, if it funds then they can order the books later, or find me at a convention with some copies!

I'm planning to be incredibly up front about the costs and processes by which I came to all my decisions, because I've made quite a few strange choices but I assure you they're all just in service of getting books out as soon as (and as fun as) possible!

And for the first bit, it's incredibly flattering to hear that you think about my work... And to the extent that it's invaded your subconscious! Wow!
