Experiment 47: The Copier Machine: Ford is lonely. Very, very lonely. And as much as he didn’t want to admit it... He missed his twin. So, what’s the most logical way to deal with repressed emotions instead of sucking up your pride and actually trying to make up with your twin? Build a cloning machine, of course. (Basically my theory on how the cloning machine in the Mystery Shack came to be)

The New Look Turnabouts: As time goes on, Miles and Phoenix end up changing their iconic looks (Either by accident or on purpose) and every time they end up falling more in love with each other.

Restless In Los Kyoto: After Phoenix sends his radio message to Miles, he doesn't exactly expect anything to come from it. And he especially doesn't expect to get a response back.

Hijinks & Shenanigans Will Ensue: Little snippets in the lives of our favorite Ace Attorney characters. Some stories will be based on official artworks, others are based on my own ideas. Some will even be Aus. All of them will be drabbles and little ficlets.

Fic requests are always open! It just might take me a while to get to them because of motivation, school, theatre, work and other stuff.

State of Chaos

Hi folks! Been awhile since I did this (and I meant to do it yesterday, whoops.. *pretends it’s still Wednesday* 😅). 

So as usual, I’ve wound up working on a lot of random stuff instead of getting all the languishing WIPs done 😂 But I have wrapped up a few things! Also, it’s almost November and I have something I’ve picked to try doing for NaNoWriMo… It’s already making me nervous because 1,667 words a day is rather a lot AND my idea has way more plot than I usually write (still porn too though, fear not). Anyway, I have no idea how well it’s gonna go but I can at least give it a shot! So if it actually goes well, I’m unlikely to be posting as much fic for the next little while. 

Oh! There are a couple new fandoms in the mix now too. Namely, the Thrawn Ascendancy novel as well as Stargate Atlantis, thanks to an exceptionally fun rewatch with Leif and DD 😁 I’m just horribly fixated lately on John Sheppard and his should-be-illegal pants… and now Ronon is there too, I may not survive 🤤 Backstory, I adore stargate SG1 and Atlantis, grew up watching it, but this is the first time I’m watching any of it since learning about fandom sooo… I’m having fun lol

(p.s. In case anyone was wondering, my little dumbass cat successfully learned how to use her fancy feeder. It’s adorable watching her nose it open, and Unauthorized Greedy Pet is extremely put out any time he tries to go steal her food now 😆)

Requests Information and FAQs

CURRENT REQUESTS STATUS: CLOSED

As many of you may know, I have been taking requests for drabbles/ficlets/short pieces, so this post should have all the information you need to send in a request and hopefully, will answer any questions you may have.

If there you still have questions over anything, please don’t hesitate to ask and I will update this post with it for future reference.

What things can I request prompts for?

I’m pretty open to most things, to be honest, but if you’re asking in regards to fandoms, I currently write for YOI, Dream Daddy, and Miss Sherlock. I’ve written for other fandoms as well, as seen on my AO3, but those three are my main fandoms currently.

If it’s a fandom I haven’t written for, but would like to see, please message me and asks.

Are there things you don’t write?

There are probably more, but off the top of my head, I will not write the following things:

Pedophilia

Incest

Rape/Non-con

Bestiality

Abuse

If you’re uncertain about a topic, please message me and asks.

How should I format my requests?

There is no set format for how to request something, but please keep a few things in mind when requesting things.

I know they’re tagged as drabbles, but as you’ve probably noticed, I clearly don’t stick to the “100 words or less” rule when it comes to them. However, these are meant to be short pieces and for me, that means “what can I do within an hour or so while half awake,” because I do them in the morning, so I can spend the rest of the my day doing my other work. Sometimes that means 200 words. Sometimes that means 1000. It all depends on the prompt and what I get inspired by.

With that being said, I do appreciate that some people have done their best to give me as many details as possible to work with, but please bear in mind how long of a fic your request may end up being. I have received requests that are meant to be longer pieces when I've said before that all I do are drabbles/ficlets/shorter pieces and I understand that not everyone is able to fully gauge how long a fic will be, but please be considerate of that fact. I want to be able to fully fulfill all of your requests and I want you to be happy with it, but I also want you to understand that if something isn’t as long or as detailed as it could have been, it’s because it’s too much for me to do in a short piece.

So please understand that what I have been offering to do are shorter pieces.

How long will my request take?

How long it takes depends on how many requests I have.

As of currently, there’s a counter that’s updated on my tumblr, so you know how many people are ahead of you. I currently do one, maybe two, request every few days now, instead of three or four, since I want to work on my other fics and stories as well.

I haven’t had any complaints about that yet, so thank you for your patience and understanding, but in the future, if anyone feels like I’m taking too long with requests, please understand that I’m human and I’m doing my best.

I don’t see my request. Where is it?

If you haven’t seen your request yet, be sure to check my various drabbles tags or my AO3 first. It’s possible that it could’ve gotten lost in a sea of posts, so check there first, just to be safe.

If you still can’t find it, it could still be in my drafts or tumblr could have eaten it. For both of those cases, you can send me a message and I will let you know if I have received it or not.

I have refused requests before, but when I do, I will respond to it and inform the requester of why the requests was not taken.

Other things to take note of:

If you’re sending me a request from a list of prompts, please specify which list of prompts it’s from. I don’t want to accidentally write the wrong thing for you and I want you to be happy with what you got, so please specify which number or list of prompts you want me to write from.

A feedback I just received on AO3, I’m posting it here because I’m honestly at a loss:

why are you always be so critical and pessimistic about malec/magnus-centric (i.e. he tends to be the one in the wrong, or even if he isn't, alec is the one Suffering, or just always adding a dark undertone to it (like in this chapter, the whole "what-if" thing, implying alec doesn't really trust magnus anymore) while being so positive and awesome with jalec (like u tend to make jace super supportive, not messing up/being a dick, including times where it's magnus fucking up and hurting alec)?? or even alec with someone else (izzy or luke, that kinda thing) sometimes, but always alec. not to mention the few romantic!jalec fics in here (which, personally i find gross, because incest and also i just personally think they'd be a terrible couple anyway, not to mention how it erases- well i'm getting off topic. anyway, that's more of an opinion, it's not really hurting anyone so i'm not gonna try to make people stop writing it or something) and that's if magnus is there at all- which is fine, because alec is more than half of malec (so is magnus and he only has like three or four centric chapters not centered around alec but whatever) and it's perfectly fine to have teen parabatai ficlets and shit that don't focus on malec/magnus, but... i just feel like it's Super Clear that alec is ur fave, jace is ur second fave, and magnus is like... Not

like not every single chapter is like that, but a good 90 percent are. this isn't so much All Things Shadowhunters so much as All Things Alec (plus the occasional bonus content)??

i mean like i love ur writing, it's super engaging and well done- especially alec being a good diplomat and realistically growing and shit, which is usually done with a lot less finesse (i.e. people tend to make alec just Magically Get Over Racism/Prejudice and stuff, or like in the books, he never gets over it and no one ever acknowledges it) but like in almost every one of your drabbles, alec does No Wrong unless it's specifically to show him the aftermath, with him either Suffering or improving- which isn't necessarily wrong, except magnus (and other characters- except jace) don't get that- like magnus is just always breaking alec's trust for neglecting him or whatever, and it shows alec's pain/reaction to that. it's almost always about alec (or jace). and if this was titled All Things Alec then it would be like, yeah, okay, this is what i came for, an alec stan fic. but it's not- it's supposed to be about all of them. or that's the impression i got from the title & the tags.

it's just there are already soooo many alec stans and alec-centric works. basically like 60 percent of the fandom is alec-centric, maybe 30 jace or clace? and 10 percent other. i'm so sick of it always being about the hot white guy! i mean, i'm not saying that's why he's your favorite or that ur racist or something (although that is like, a good chunk of the fandom. especially the ones that ship jalec and *shudder* romantic clalec) but i just... idek what else to say. i just wanted to give you some feedback about my concerns or whatever, i guess. i hope i'm not being a big dickhead by saying all this

like i said, i really do like your writing and stuff, it's absolutely excellent (and you never leave me screaming at grammar/spelling mistakes, which is always great, nor do you make me so bored or frustrated i just give up and exit out) and amazing! it's not your style or plot ideas at all. it's just the way you seem to portray magnus as one half of malec- usually the screw-up half, or the therapist half, or whatever- and alec as a well-rounded character. (and jace with like, so few flaws? like come on, i love the guy, but he's Kind of a Dick- especially to alec, and especially in the books. in the books he's downright terrible, actually. awful. he literally treats alec like shit.)

Did this person somehow, in some inexplicable way, missed the “Most of these stories are either Malec or gen, with Alec being the main player, one way or another. Later on, some Jalec, too” part of my summary? Like, did it took them 556 chapters to finally grasp that my fic collection is about Alec and his issues, him as a person, first and foremost? I’m not touching the rest of their claims about the SH fandom (which based on my personal experience here on Tumblr are patently untrue) but that part just left me... floundering. Is here anyone who doesn’t know that I’m an Alec Lightwood stan?

So, I never thought this day would come, but I actually hit 200 subscribers on AO3, which is all sorts of awesome. It makes me happy that so many people want to be notified right away when I post something, and just thinking about how many people that is — it’s really a phenomenal thing to me. 

I’d like to give back some of that love and support the only way I know how: by writing fic! What I’ll be doing is taking requests in both my inbox here and in the comments of the work I’ll post on AO3 once I get the first request filled, titled Celebrations.
