@mzannthropy
Seeing your tags in the previous post ("I come across as a hater" one) was the final straw for something that has been eating me for months :
I've been seeing (and many other peoples tags here at Tumblr or Twitter and Instagram opinions, or TikTok) kinda justifying or explaining themselves for liking or disliking things...
And I am so fucking tired of seeing women, ALWAYS, having to defend their things, I wonder why Only women? Never or almost never men, I feel so envious of their self confidence tbh.
No one truly should have to explain themselves. You can like and dislike whatever you want...
Heretics rock!!!!!!!!
I enjoy reading different opinions...I mean I am a fandom war veteran at this point!!! I survived Supernatural drama, TVD drama, The Hunger Games love triangle war....Even the biggest one : Team Edward vs Team Jacob on Twilight fandom for fucks sake!!! XD.
And as a Twilight veteran fan (since 2007) believe me, i've learned to not give a DAMN crap about others opinions on my little beloved things that make me happy ("Twilight suck" , "Its just for Girls", "vampires dont sparkle"....🙄🖕Let me enjoy my shitty problematic beloved saga!!!! ) cause i'm happier like that XD.
On a personal note about you @mzannthropy and to show my example.
I like things similar to you that we share and we speak about, which make me very happy to talk-write about with you (or with other whom i share interests with) like : Sam Claflin, Florence Welch , The count of Montecristo, Agatha Christie, Cats...I even started reading LM Montgomery for curiosity , as i had just read Anne of the Green gables as a teen, i am re reading her now and i'm liking her!!!! I Will read everything I find of her ASAP.
But i also have different tastes to you: I dont hate me before you (I dont like It either Its so so to me like 6/10) , I like Peeta a lot while I dislike Gale with an intensity (Im always going to say that id rather have him dead than Finnick, i'll die on that hill, forever angry at Suzanne Collins) and I fucking love Riley Keough (I know you dislike / hate her).
And what? Does that make me unable to relate to you??
Noooopeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We just have different tastes and thats okay!! I like /reblog your posts that I like, the ones i dont...i ignore, and that's It. You probably do the same I guess?
I dont get why people make such a fuss! I myself received hate for liking daisily, like... Calm tf down girl , i'm just a (still) young woman reposting photos and gifs?! What harm can i possibly make you with my things??...But i blocked and I moved on. And I bitch about hatefull people like that Sometimes.
Related to the previous Sam post :
I must admit i dont dislike any of Sam's co-stars, I like most or feel neutral tbh. I even made a post with Sam + Chemistry, with my personal list of faves, those Who I didn't post about were neutral to me, fine but not super Special, and I know how you feel about that C word XD...
Believe me I find It cheap myself...but I don't know how explain that to people without that word , in english that's it...In spanish (and french too) there are way better more complex words for romantic / frienship /sexual or mixed complex conections?? English sometimes Its poor compared. We mediterraneans are messier we need those words to figure ourselves out XD.
Conclusion to this long post :
Everyone has right to their opinions and speak for themselves, Thats freedom of speech, if everyone thought the same It would be super boring tbh.
And @mzannthropy You are not a hater you are yourself. Period. Keep posting the way you do, cause Its very you , and It makes It very cool :)
Looooong pooost aaagaaaiin.

Okay first of all! I loved that request where is God reader from ennead! So!
What IS relationship with Egypt Gods with reader? The God of festivals and happiness but real role is the God of freedom? So as I read that request it says that he DID have good relationship with them(I think) because he was in Egypt but not anymore? And they never talk anymore as he moved from Egypt where all god mostly where, why did he move away from them? Did he knew what will happend?
So my request is about male reader God of festivals and happyness/ God of freedom.
How would they react to seeing reader once more? But there is plot twist! The reader is not kinda happy about seeing them.( I love angst, dont mind me)
That all!
Heeey im back, im sorry I was gone all this time I moved, finished highschool and now im struggling to finish my first year of college but im back and im trying to get through my entire inbox and write for everything I missed, I will also update the masterlist with a few new fandoms. This is a short one i still had in my drafts. Kisses!!!
I guess that as the god of freedom and happiness ennead is not the best place to live. Since all the gods have to obey Ra and her kinda liking the suffering of everyone else cause she sees it as entertainment would not sit well with a god who's entire concept is boring to her.
I dont think that you would have beef with any of them other than Ra and maybe Osiris if you try to call out his bluff of being the victim and all that. You could have some trouble with Seth if you tried to opose him in his early years when he ruled Egipt but i dont think he is the kind to try and hurt other gods. Cause he tried to hurt Isis and Horus only because of some prophecy not because he really hated them. So my guess is that you either tried to vouch for someone who was in trouble or did something to upset Ra but she just pushed you aside and continued as if you were not there. Or you found out about some of the things Osiris did to Seth and you tried to tell everyone but because nobody really liked Seth they only listened to what Osiris said and called you a liar, ultimately pushing you aside. So you got sick and tired of them and left.
Anyway back to the present Horus and Anubis actually like you cause they're not as old as the other gods so either they were not born when you left or they were too young to remember. If we take the first route Ra will not be verry pleased to see you but if we take the second one Isis and Osiris are the ones in a sour mood.
Lets say that after you left you found yourself a village on the other side of Egipt where it was like a port so there was a big mix of cultures and instead of asserting dominance as a god you just lived among them helping out and being nice to everyone. Of course horus while searching for Seth could happen to accidentally find your little comunity and asks Isis about it wich leads to the others finding you and dragging you back to explain yourself and interogate you on the "where is seth" matter. While at first you were happy thinking they came to visit it was auickly shut down when chains apeared around your neck, wrists and ankles and you were being dragged away from your home and people back to ennead. If you knew about what happened to seth osiris will try to keep you quiet one way or another, gods forbid you helped him escape or helped him while he was on the run with resources and hiding from the others, in the I feel like horus will try to take you with him against his mom's dissaproval to help him heal seth emotionally with your powers

Decided to add another member to the Training Wheels Outlaw team, Gillian Wahrman aka Wyldheart!
This spirited young girl is a very obscure character seen in Grant Emerson's 1994 book Damage! She's only ever seen in relation to Grant, and Grant's a bit obscure himself, so she has very little appearances in the comics.
From what little we saw of her, she seemed fairly nice and pretty naive, I'm guessing she was pretty sheltered in life. Her adoptive father, Abriam Wahrman , found her in a spacecraft as a baby, so she kinda has a superman style origin (in fact, I thought she could fit the team as the superman expy, but I ended up having other ideas...).
Her father is part of the organization that gave Grant his powers but are also trying to hunt him down. She and Grant ended up as friends, but are keeping their friendship a secret for now. For now it works, tho I doubt that'll stay the case. She and Grant get along very well, he helps ground her and tries to prevent people from taking advantage of her naivety. In turn she helps him lighten up a bit and have fun!
Anyways, when she learned about Grant hanging out with this strange group, she decided she wanted in! And so she did! Jason is amused if a bit overwhelmed by her positivity, he's not quite sure how to deal with her but at least he has fun with her. The rest of the team likes her cheerfulness, bit of a break from the more serious and 'edgy' members attitudes.
Here's a couple of extra doodles of Gillian meeting the others:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This last one is was a first draft of her, I'll be real her outfit is kinda strange, simultaneously both overly designed and yet super basic. I didn't really like it honestly, but I could see underneath all that there was a way to make it work. I'm not sure if I succeeded, might've oversimplified it but I tried.
Now I'm gonna stop right here and talk about something real quick. If you go over to the DC fandom wiki and go to Gillian's page, here's what you see in the sidebar:
Tumblr media
Is this some sort of mistake? I don't know if I missed something, but in none of her appearances was she shown to be a New God or Genesisian. Was she planned to be one but the writers dropped that plot point? Or did they not get the chance since Grant's book got canceled? If not, why did the wiki put that in? I don't know man, but I really do like that idea, like a lot. In fact in my au, she is in fact a New God! Perhaps her parents got in trouble of sorts and maybe sent her away to protect her? I'm kinda wanna make up a story of the parents being on opposite sides and their Romeo/Juliet romance caused an uproar. I'm not too well versed in New God lore, so I don't if that would work but it's one idea at least.
Here's a page of Gillian finding out her heritage:
Tumblr media
Everyone looks shocked! (btw that guy in the back is Iron Munro, who helps out Grant sometimes). If Gillian's a new god, what would she be the god of? Maybe something like Harmony or Joy.
Well I hope to draw Gillian some more, she's a pretty fun addition to the team, and I hoped you liked all this!
A correction! Gillian is a New God, it's explained in Damage #8!
Tumblr media
This is what happens when you speed 'read' and completely look over the details. Sorry about that, I can be pretty spacey sometimes. Thanks to @isfjmel-phleg for the correction! Still isn't it cool and unique that Gillian's a new god? DC should bring her back!

aand here's some good omens fics. most of these are more plot driven with less of an emphasis on romance, and all of them are pre season 2 (a good chunk of them are before TV gomens!)
incredible incredible fic series 546k words and 9 installments. I don't cry over fics much but this one made me sob. they have a mostly platonic relationship and when it is romantic it's very low-key and ace
58k canon compliant fic where both aziraphale and Crowley were on the titanic. has some explicit smut if you're into that
126k fic where aziraphale goes missing and Crowley has to find him and also deal with London. absolutely fantastic writing
125k fic that's post canon Crowley and aziraphale. technically part of a series but you can read it on its own. I can't say much without spoiling it but it's absolutely fantastic.
356k series with 8 fics. truly incredible. does a fantastic job of expanding the world and playing around. there's a lot of ocs but the author doesn't overwhelm you all with them (there's only a few in the first installment and it slowly builds from there) and does a good job of helping you tell them apart and all having their own unique personalities so you get attached. I could gush about uow beautiful this fic series is for days. the way that god is characterized haunts me. 10/10 read
44k fic about an alternate universe where Crowley doesn't meet aziraphale. and then that universe meets the canon one. good times
I have a 7-hour bus ride on Saturday and not a lot of cellular data roaming left, so:
any recommendations for long fics to download from ao3?
(fandoms: Good Omens, Nimona, The Owl House, Avatar the Last Airbender, The Adventure Zone, Lord of the Rings)
Feel free to recommend your own fics, recommend as many fics as possible, please!

Even though i like to read stories where the girl is the guy's entire world (including the ones from Percabeth...just sometimes. Not much into PJO fanfics despite writing many fanfics from this fandom), i think it's kind unfair to the other characters that helped to build the heroes as they are now.
Like, for some fans and even authors:
. Lois is more important to Clark than his own mother.
. Annabeth is more important to Percy than his own mother or best friend.
. Hinata is more important to Naruto than anything else
. Padme is more important to Anakin than anything in the entire galaxy.
"If something happens to them, the heroes would turn evil"
In fanfics yes, but in real stories...complicated to say.
The reasons the heroes turned evil weren't 100% because of them.
. Clark not only lost his wife, but also his child and his city. He felt very guilty for killing the woman he loves. There are many versions of Superman, but in his situation...well, i guess his emotions are different from humans. Clark sees Lois as his favourite human because of her flaws. I used to ship them a lot, but then i saw how Lois reminded me another charater. So, i stopped consuming their stories together. But, one thing is a fact, it doesn't matter if Lois dies, the real Superman would never turn evil. He may have his dark side, but Superman is still Clark Kent. He values his morals a lot. If Lois became a villain and he had to stop her, he would. The best example of Superman losing Lois is Kingdom Come.
. Anakin was a slave, he was taken to become a jedi very young, away from his mother. He had to repress many feelings due to jedi codes. He was always a little insecure. So, when his mother died it caused a big trauma on him and he didn't want the same thing to happen to his wife. Padme only became his anchor because he felt excluded and lonely due to his insecures that were never worked during the story. If Padme tried to convince him to talk to Obi Wan or something like that, maybe the story would have a different ending for the couple. Padme was smart and couldn't see that her husband was suffering and needed emotional help? I guess even ashoka could be a better help for Anakin than any other character. They kinda created a bond between them. I don't consume star war stuffs that much either.
. Naruto lost his control when Pain stabbed Hinata because he was already feeling many bad emotions after everything that happened. To Naruto, what really matters is the village, even when its people were horrible to him. He always had other priorities outside Hinata. Naruto is that person that cares about everyone equally. From i could see, no one is more important than the other for him...maybe only Sasuke. Serious. That man wants to spend more time with his best friend than any other person, even his own family. So, yeah. If Hinata died or even became a villain, Naruto would move on or would defeat her. If Naruto is able to fight Sasuke to protect the village, Hinata is not out of the question either.
. This one is based on comments that i saw on internet.
I may not be a big fan of this couple anymore, but i still read some stories with dark percy. But, in canon, i know that the real Percy wouldn't turn evil because of a girl. The real one would value his family and friends more than anything. He literally would be a second version of Naruto. Everything Percy did or does for Annabeth, he would do for anyone else. He was willing to risk his life for others. He would get pretty mad if something happened to his family and friends. Percy will always have Grover to remind him of who he is...of the person Sally would be proud of. Sally is able to risk everything for him, even stay with a horrible man for years only to protect her son. She's been with Percy during his entire life. Then, he meets a girl and BANG! She becomes the most important thing to him? I don't get it. "But, Sally is a human and Grover a satyr." I know, i understand. More reason for them to be important to Percy because together, they complete each other. They bring different perspectives. Even though Percy needs someone from the demigod life like Nico, Clarisse, Jason, Frank, Hazel, Leo, Connor, Thalia and many others (including Annabeth, but not only her) because they would help him with the side he has more difficulties to understand, he also needs to be reminded of his human side (Sally, Elle, Paul, Rachel) and that there aren't only demigods and humans (Dionysus, Hera, Grover, Apollo...). He needs all the diversity he can get to have a better understanding of his life...and mature with all the knowledge learned during his journey as a hero, as a human, as a friend, as a boyfriend and as a brother.
Even Goku has other people outside his family to keep him grounded. So, it's not only about romantic relationships. It's about the bonds the characters have with others that can determinate his future maybe.
Example: If Percy didn't have Sally or Grover, he could have turned out like Luke.
If Naruto didn't have his few friends, Iruka and that guy from the restaurant (i forgot many things), he would have turned out like Obito.
If Goku didn't hit his head or didn't have his friends with him, he could have been evil.
If Clark was created by evil people or didn't have his family, maybe he would have turned out a little different.
If Anakin didn't have his mother, maybe he would have turned to the dark side faster or maybe he would have commited ☠... who knows?🤔

Once in four years mcsm hyperfixation is back baby, and on this most recent rewatch some interesting patterns popped up for me. Honestly this might not be a new conversation, but I had no idea the fandom was still so lively. I've loved this game since it first came out and I really love that so many people still talk about it. Anyways, disregarding S2 for a moment (my opp), I think it's so intriguing the way the writers set up S1 and the art of history repeating itself.
The Order of the Stone were (supposedly) the greatest group of heroes that every lived, but they started out as something so much simpler. They were just friends who wanted to go on adventures and maybe make a difference in the world. Of course their trajectory and outcomes were much different from the modern crew, but in many ways they're still similar. I'll get to the in a sec, but I wanna talk about the originals first.
The original Order kinda breaks my heart, because frankly I think their intentions were good, they just lost their way and got caught up in the glory, not the adventure. They all make it seem like they've known each other for a lifetime, so it's easy to assume that even if they hadn't seen each other in like a decade, they had still known one another for practically twenty years. Soren describes their first adventure like a shot in the dark, and how they were so young. So my guess is they met in their late teens/early twenties, the same age I assume the modern crew is when their story starts. Yes they're all bitter in the main story, but their history seeps into every interaction. Magnus called Ellegaard, Ellie, and it might feel malicious at first, but he still uses it after she dies, which leads me to believe it started out with affection. Then there's Soren and Ivor, who were constantly fighting and at each other's throat. This makes me feel like there might've been a point when they were the closest. Magnus and Ellegaard seem almost relieved to see Ivor, even after they know what he'd done. The command block had led them to great success, but it also ruined the one real thing they had, their friendship with each other. Honestly I think the most heartbreaking thing is they were so close to reuniting again, but Magnus or Ellegaard dies, and Gabriel doesn’t have his memory. Then when the dust finally settles, Soren is gone. Ugh just tragic friend group save me, they are the ones that made me realize how much I love the niche trope of a friend group "haunting the narrative". Their friendship and fallout is what causes the events of the entire story, and thus thrusts Jesse into action. If they had never been friends there would've been no Wither storm, their actions led the modern crew to where they are now. Anyway mini rant over my fault, but how does that effect the crew? Well honestly it felt like they were doomed to repeat the same mistakes.
There's Jesse, the fearless leader who always has the answers and a plan for that matter. Caring, direct, and motivated, she begins the story feeling like she is destined for more. She would do anything for her friends and she's a quick learner in a life she doesn't fully understand yet. Soren was likely the same, he was trying to herd three maniacs and a genius together, and something tells me the leader role wasn't his original goal. He thought the command block was helping, when he was really just fighting his friends battles for them. Soren's life became one of solitude and guilt, one I think Jesse was perhaps destined to as well. The courageous leader doomed to isolation and doubt, unable to comprehend the road that led to their downfall.
Petra's pessimistic and sarcastic nature defines her a first, but it's clear that she's so much more than meets the eye. She's determined, chivalrous, and sometimes (overly) reckless too. Above all she strives to be a protector, of people, of her friends, and of her ideals. That's what keeps her from laying down her sword even though she longs for a life without battle. History says Gabriel was the same protector, even if we truly know him to be different, but this isn't about reality right now. Regardless of this they were seen as the fighters, with the only enemy too strong to beat lying in their imagination. The brave warrior doomed to die and lose their self in battle, interpreting life as nothing more than a fight to be won or forever lost.
It's hard to say what else describes Axel but bluntness. He's an out of the box thinker who can perhaps be slow at times, but he makes up for it when it really counts. He holds his friends close, and views others in a hostile matter (for better or for worse), and at the end of the day his hard exterior is easy to see right through to those who matter. Magnus is spunky and edgy, and rolls his eyes at the mere mention of the others, yet like Axel, it's simple to see right through him. His love for the others is something he shields, and it's clear he does this by pretending his life is perfect the way it is. The maverick doomed to surround themselves with a false sense of community and leadership, forever unaware of all that lies out of their reach
Olivia is intelligent, innovative, and practical. She usually prefers a simple solution but that's not to say she can't also have fun. She's compassionate and curious, and enjoys going through hypotheticals just to be extra prepared (or simply for a easy pass time). She's amiable and while her skills aren't exactly adept, it's clear she has a desire to learn. Ellegaard is a similar, and although she's jaded and has far more of an attitude, it's not hard to believe she used to be similar in her youth. It's also very likely they would have the same coping methods, focusing on red stone is far easier than focusing on others. The brilliant engineer doomed to surround themselves with their machines and inventions, who instead distance themselves from any real connections.
And finally there's Lukas. Selfless, kind, and impeccably loyal, in some ways he's the glue that held them all together. His intense desire to meditate got them out of a few fights, even if his presence initially caused them. He's the resident worrier of the group, and his only goal is to make sure his friends are safe and sound. Glory and adventure are the furthest thing from his mind, they're just a welcome bonus. Ivor clearly cared very deeply for the group, because he was the most hurt by Soren's secret. Even after his anger at them, it's evident they were never far from his mind. He tried so much to get them to see reason, but it was all for nothing. The permanent outcast, doomed to try the best they can to save the group, but who will inevitably be the one to ruin them all.
Of course those fates didn't really fall on the old order, that was just what people expected of them. Soren understood very well what he did wrong, Gabriel lived on, Magnus or Ellegaard died, and Ivor didn't ruin them, he just exposed them (even if his wither storm did kill one of them, but that wasn't really the point). Yet what truly happens in history, versus what we've been told or come to expect are quite different. I just think it could've been interesting for the writers to play into this predetermined fate the group already had, perhaps they would accept it, or maybe they would run from it so fiercely that they end up right where they feared. Or maybe their friendship was enough, and they never got wrapped up in the greed or the glory. Obviously that's not where S2 went at all, but it's was just something interesting to think about.

I cannot stand the fandom or the writers obsession with Jaune. Everytime I see content of a Jaune harem or every female character in love with him I take psychic damage. I once saw a fic where Kali left Ghira for Jaune cause he “wasn't as much as a man as Jaune is”. Jaune is just miles luna's self insert that all the worst people project onto.
Sometimes I think this is the fandom's way of subconsciously accepting that Jaune is the better character in the show. I don't like Jaune, but unfortunately, he's had more development than the titled team, which STILL bothers me. And while the fandom may disagree, I do think this level of Jaune getting so much love, sex, and attention from fanfic writers and artists says a lot about how he's more desirable than the rest of the crew. "Hot, quirky, geeky charm and relatable and has a monster c0ck," is what I'm guessing fans see in Jaune.
Ghira gets shat on left-and-right because "he's not man enough for Kali." Kali is getting action from everybody else and Ghira is a cuck, in almost every hentai piece that has them in it. It really sucks because Ghira is a poorly-written guy, but wow I did not expect people to dislike him this much when he barely did anything in the show to warrant this. It makes me feel bad for him.
I'm kinda surprised and not surprised at the same time because the statistics show the majority of RWBY's audience is male - I believe as young as Jaune or close to it - so they want to project themselves onto him. Any male character who's "cool" enough, really. I mean people still love Adam because he was that cool guy. I still like Adam too, RIP. Ironwood was very close to being that cool guy, too, but the writers had to hit the brakes on that before it went any further.
Then the female audiences are left projecting onto the female characters of the show, which, uuhhhh... outlook not so good.
In my super spicy opinion, ofc.

SHIPPING INFO. answer the following for your muse(s) so people know how shipping works on your blog.
Tumblr media
What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?
Being mostly OC based, to be faaaaaaaaaaaair - It's not something fixed in place but I can say with my whole ass that my ships with @intcritus and @avaere are most likely OTPs. Due to the length of time of knowing these two and just how deep our claws go into each other it's almost hard not to think about my muses that I ship with them / without them being mentioned, Muse-wise for sure. Like a part of my muses is made with them in mind, or they've made their corresponding muse unbelievably integral to my muses life and creation as a whole so it's like, yin and yang honestly. A few others are on that road too; eg; @asinusxdomi and @bonesofchaos
What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?
Everything to be fair, ain't no limitations when we're consenting adults, imo. Obviously nothing agreed on will happen and nothing plotted out for darker themes will be just like forced on people cause that's just shitty but also I know what I'm getting into when I go for those types of ship wants.
How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?
I personally don't feel comfortable in reading about muses having any thoughts about children muses in that way and that's a hard no for me personally. I couldn't write it even to test the waters like I have with a few dark topics, ( dub con / non con etc ) It's just up there with those kinda of topics that I can't personally say 'yeah I'm comfortable with writing this for an experiment', not for me, so yeah long story short, no.
It's just common sense to not ship adults with children muses / characters, it's a big no thank you.
The youngest I could possibly ok in terms of just passing, is the 18-19 with someone in their 20 - 23 space - tops but even so, it still makes me wrinkle my nose a bit.
I think anything younger isn't something I'm looking for to read or write. Younger writers of that age can do what they want but like I'm 31, 32 next year, I ain't got that young-mind leeway anymore mentality and I cringe at the idea of making younger muses like below 25 to ship.
Are you selective when shipping?
Nah - I try to be to limit my needs to just swarm the dash with my shit but I ain't got much of a tick list or wall to climb over when it comes to wanting to ship w/ me. Like I make tags in a blink if I see us interacting a lot outside of just one or two asks a month thing. Like if I feel the vibe of actual interest towards my muses, then yeah I'm gunna return that interest if I get that spark and want to explore that dynamic ship in whatever way we're going.
How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?
I will send you a BJ ask if you ask for it. So, whenever and whereever. I don't use readmores, so if someone finds sucking fingers too sexual, it'll just be there in the open. If we're going mating press on a Tuesday morning, so be it.
Who are other muses you ship your muse with?
/points at my mutuals./ These bitches suffer with me.
Does one have to ask to ship with you?
Talk to me? Lol, not hard. Forceship if you want, I'm game if we've got something going.
How often do you like to ship?
All day every day - you can't stop me and my mind.
Are you multiship?
Yes yes, I can singleship but that's only for 11+ year friends on here.
Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?
Yeah, I ain't gunna lie. I just love having ships and tags and a continuous plot going with folks and sometimes you gotta bag the muse to keep it going. Even if it doesn't end up a lovey-dovey or we plot a break up, I'm all for it.
What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?
Me and my mutual muses. I am the favourite ship, thank you.
Finally, how does one ship with you?
Love me and my muses with all your heart and send them your muses first born, ofc. But mostly just communicate with me, I ain't gunna be able to guess through jokes / vague tags or the occasional meme, like full on talk to me, spam my inbox with proper interaction between muses, if you don't feel the same is being returned, talk to me in DMs or Discord. I can't read minds.

Hey so I found this one meme and honestly I think it does kinda sums up how the fandom treated Angela imo-
But what do you think?
Tumblr media
Honestly this made me laugh a little because as an Angela stan, I would really defend her like that (I mean, I even wrote The Pedestal because I was HEARTBROKEN with the revelation and I wanted to be delusional for a little xD)
But yeah, I still acknowledge that she did some bad things; murder, corruption, and bombings are inexcusable. However, Angela didn’t deserve much of the hate she received from the fandom due to the circumstances she had.
Imagine losing your parents at the young age of 8 and taken under the wing of a huge criminal organization. She may have told Lars that she wasn’t brainwashed, but of course you wouldn’t know for yourself if that was the case because you were well… brainwashed. Even during The Darkest Hour, Baxter didn’t immediately tell the Bureau that he aided in the kidnapping because SOMBRA was controlling him. Whether she was brainwashed or not though, imagine the effect of growing up in a criminal organization would have to you.
Looking at this too in an Asian and cultural perspective (because I’m Asian, but I’m not generalizing ALL Asian countries, this is just based on what I’m aware of growing up), Angela has mentioned that she is loyal to SOMBRA because they had practically raised her. One toxic trait in Asian cultures is that you are guilt tripped to “give back” to the family/people who raised you, no matter how big or heavy their requests may be. It could be as simple as letting them live in your house, maybe buying them their own house or other material things, or it can be as big as giving them hefty sums of money or treating you as their retirement fund or something. (In our country, it’s called utang ng loob.) Since the orphan recruitment schemes are prominent in Asian countries, they must’ve then gaslighted and guilt tripped those orphans in that way, hence that’s why Angela felt what she did.
Besides, the only time she had disobeyed SOMBRA was when she married Lars. You can’t tell me that SOMBRA would easily let that slide, especially since she was ranked quite high in their hierarchy. They had probably gaslighted and threatened her about it many times, until she had no choice but to stay loyal just to keep her family safe.
That’s why I find it absurd when some people would portray her as this black-and-white evil villain who’s abusive and possessive, because the only thing she wants is to keep her family safe.
Some people don’t actually hate her because she’s a SOMBRA agent and she killed Lavinia, they hate her because she broke Lars’ heart. Yes, it is wrong, but it isn’t really that easy to confess to your husband that you’re a part of the criminal organization your team is investigating. Admitting to it won’t be that easy either; it could potentially harm her family. SOMBRA’s a lot more deadly and complicated organization that had the power to. She and Lars could’ve gotten killed because of SOMBRA and once they’re gone, they could’ve easily taken the triplets away, thus continuing SOMBRA’s long and deadly cycle. She never wanted her children to get involved in their crimes, in fact she was trying to break the cycle. That’s why she’s so protective. That’s why she also stayed in the Bureau even though it was dangerous for her.
She was also pretty much hated in the same way Karen was hated; Chief King and Frank Knight were “redeemed” by the fandom just because they did it for the family, while she and Karen got hate even though they were also doing it for the family.
Pretty Simple also lacked in terms of fleshing out her character, causing multiple misinterpretations. She had so much potential to be more complex instead of being boxed as that “traitor with no remorse”, but yeah the remaining cases weren’t enough to do that I guess? It’s up to further analysis then!
So yeah, Angela’s not a perfect character, and it’s okay to dislike her for the crimes she did. This is not a character analysis of some sort because this is mostly based on my interpretation and perspectives regarding her, but yeah I just really love her because well, Asian representation and she’s just so complex. I don’t like it when they would paint her as a complete monster though.

Brett Devereaux made an observation about Dune that I really like: that Paul Atreides and Feyd Rautha Harkonnen were probably raised with very similar values.
This isn't exactly a ship in the usual fandom sense of the word, but I think it'd be interesting to see this explored in an AU fanfic where Paul and Feyd Rautha somehow team up at the end of Dune.
I think what'd work really well for this is a scenario where Feyd Rautha somehow gets control over House Harkonnen and swears loyalty/vassalage to Paul, adding effective control over House Harkonnen to Paul's portfolio at the end of Dune.
I think that'd have really crunchy social and emotional dynamics that'd fit really well with the theme here. Paul has spent years hating the Harkonnens and seeking revenge on them for the death of his father and a lot of the surviving remnant of Paul's own house have pretty similar feelings, and now here's Feyd Rautha saying to Paul "The armies of my house await your orders, my lord," and Feyd and his Harkonnen buddies are now hanging out at Paul's court and hobnobbing with Paul and the rest of his court. If Gurney Halleck and Duncan Idaho are alive in this scenario I bet they'd hate this and there'd be some pretty tense moments when they have to collaborate with their Harkonnen opposite numbers.
Atreides and Harkonnen generals collaborating to plan the Jihad with kinda shitlib vs. MAGA chud vibe tension where the Atreides have thinking of themselves as the side of good as an important part of their self-image while the Harkonnens tend to be more casually bloodthirsty and sadistic but this is arguably more a difference in aesthetics than anything substantive, when crunch time comes they can put these cultural differences aside and collaborate surprisingly easily on shared goals because they're actually fundamentally similar people with fundamentally similar worldviews and values, molded by fundamentally similar institutions.
Feyd Rautha becoming one of Paul's closest subordinates and kind of his friend in a weird way cause they're actually fundamentally similar people and useful to each other.
I think Feyd is supposed to still be pretty young at the end of Dune, so this might work better if Paul is a bit less lucky in his campaign against the Harkonnens, delaying the events of the end of Dune by a few years but ultimately not preventing them, or something like that, IDK.
I think if I were writing this the closest I'd take this to shipping in the common fandom sense is Paul and Feyd end up kind of in a wife-loaning polycule with Irulan, though one that's asexual on Paul's side. Basically at some point Irulan and Paul have a conversation that's basically a more refined version of this:
IRULAN: "Hey, I'm tired of living a life of involuntary celibacy cause you need a political marriage to me but won't have sex with me because of your issues. Can you just wife-loan me to one of your right-hand men if you're gonna be so complicated?"
PAUL: "Fine, sure. The usual rules will apply: keep it on the down-low and don't get pregnant."
IRULAN: "Fine."
PAUL: "Did you have any candidates in mind? If not, might I suggest Utrecht or Hakim?"
IRULAN: "I AM NOT SLEEPING WITH AN UNBATHED DESERT BARBARIAN! ... Feyd is kind of hot, I guess... I'll take him!"
PAUL: "That arrangement would be perfectly acceptable to me. Pending Feyd's agreement, we have a deal. I'll discuss this matter with him tonight, after I've discussed with him the deposition of his house troops in the conquest expedition I'll be launching against the Megara worlds. I think he'll agree."
IRULAN: "Great!"
I have had one or two or three little ideas for a Dune fanfic but have never figured out what the plot would be. I suppose now if I ever actually write a Dune fanfic, it'll probably be about this premise.
I guess in a way it might be fridge brilliance that this didn't happen in the actual books, cause this is a lot like the relationship between Leto II and Farad'n at the end of Children of Dune and Farad'n reads to me as a mirror to Paul in the same way Feyd is, and the arc of the Dune novels up to God-Emperor of Dune is Leto II could do what Paul couldn't bring himself to do, so Leto II being able to co-opt Farad'n while Paul couldn't co-opt Feyd would fit with that.

the flash for fandom ask
Character I first fell in love with:
Cisco Ramon, he's just the nerdy heart of the team from day one. He'd get all my sci-fi references and answer in kind if we ever met. And his hair is so lovely. He also just believes in Barry right off in a way that no one else really does - Barry goes 'so we're a superhero team now?' and Cisco is all 'hell yeah we are' :D
He's the one out of the OG team I'd want to be besties with the most, really.
Character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Harry Wells. It took a while for him to really grow on me - I think I disliked him at first but he was growing on me by end of season 2, kinda regressed in S3 and then S4 he was family now. Grumpy, grouchy family.
Character everyone loves but I don’t:
hmmmm... this is a hard one, it takes a lot for me to dislike a character. I'd say Mark Blaine but I do get the impression he's not particularly well liked by most of the fandom so I'm not alone in my dislike there.
I've got a love/hate relationship with Eobard so definitely not him. (Overused and badly flanderized, but yet his earlier characterization is so good...)
Martin Stein's not a fav, but I don't really hate him either. He's... kinda self centered really, but part of his character arc over both the Flash and Legends is growing out of that to become more of a team player.
... Guess I don't have any real answer to this one.
Character I love but everyone else hates:
Frost sorta works because she's such a polarizing character. I know a lot of people hated her and weren't exactly sorry she was written off. And while I definitely would have preferred that S4 not have retconned S3's ending with regards to Caitlin and Killer Frost, once we had Frost I enjoyed what she brought to the show. She was an immature character at first but it worked for me because she was literally very young in experience - having been repressed for so much of Caitlin's life, she never had the chance to emotionally mature until Caitlin finally started treating her as someone to be loved instead of feared.
It's really interesting watching her learn to really be a person all on her own and while her character arcs took her in directions that I really didn't enjoy at times (Mark Blaine) and i do feel like her death was written for shock value in what sounds like an otherwise directionless season, the character herself is one that I ultimately really liked.
Character I used to love but don’t any longer:
Cynthia. And it's not that I hate her. It's just... I thought she'd be a lot more complex character than we got and so I just sort of wound up feeling let down. She's introduced clearly on the wrong side of things, but isn't necessarily a bad person. As she and Cisco got closer, he got her to bend the rules for a good cause, but the organization she worked for was still clearly authoritarian and probably not the good guys at all. And then she started dating Cisco and all that nuance was out the window because 'can't have a main character dating a morally gray person, gotta make it clear she's a hero too'.
Except following the path she'd been on in S3, of gradually recognizing the people she worked for weren't worth her loyalty? That would have been fascinating to watch unfold. Her following in HR's footsteps by leaving her Earth behind while still trying to help her people stage some kind of very necessary social revolution? I would have loved that.
Character I would kiss:
Still too aroace for this question. But if it were about platonic cuddles? Cisco. Cisco would be the best cuddler, I have written a whole fic about him being everyone's go-to platonic cuddler.
Character I want to slap:
Joe. His paternalistic treatment of Iris and his constant questioning of Barry's ability to make his own decisions is really shitty parenting. Especially considering his kids are adults now. Thankfully his bad behavior isn't all there is to him, but if Iris had ever slapped him for some of the shit he'd pulled I'd have outright cheered.
A pairing I love:
Hartmon - my first Flash ship and still my favorite.
A pairing I hate:
Frost/Blaine. Blaine was a wanna be Captain Cold on so many levels and he failed to be interesting or likable at every turn. At best he managed to make me feel pity for him which... not a great sign. And to be honest, after Frost had so good chemistry with Allegra it was weird that got ignored to stick both women in het ships that required strangling them with the red string to make work. I honestly thought they were getting ship teased, but I guess it was the writers not realizing that whoops they made it a little gay there between two main characters. I mean, it is the Flash and the show has always been a little homophobic in it's rush to assure us it's an ally, so... not surprising, but still annoying.

On the evening the day after the tower-incident, the trio reaches a new problem: a gate guarded by Stouvanian forces. To continue on to Silver Keep, they will have to pass through, meaning that one of the group specifically will most likely have to expose themselves against recommendation. But right now nothing is happening – the gate is closed and no one is passing in or out.
A handful of carts and wagons are gathered off the road before it and among the people gathered by the fire that has been lit to provide warmth and safety, Morella sees someone that makes her perk up despite having the blues (literally, too). With a soft squeal of delight, she bamfs from her friends and right in front of a man that the other two only a moment later recognize as Elmer.
“Hi!” she smiles but still causes the poor man to fall over backwards from the scare.
He’s not the only one getting a fright: everyone in the little circle are startled and several of them grasp for weapons of various quality but of course they fey elf doesn’t bother.
“Can we stay with you tonight? And maybe catch a ride in the morning?” she asks sweetly, ignoring the hubbub she’s caused.
Anvindr and Zilvra are hurrying over but another figure emerges from a bush and beats them to it: Harris.
“It’s alright,” he tells the other people, “we know her, she’s a friend.”
Accepting his guarantee, they all tug their weapons away but keep their attention on the newcomer even as she’s scolded mildly for pulling the appearing-stunt once more.
Morella hangs her head, looking oh so pretty and innocent by doing so and the two humans relent in their scolding, inviting her and her friends who now have joined to stay with them.
“Silver Keep?” Elmer guesses their destination. “We’re headed beyond that but you can tag along.”
Settling down, Zilvra notices that the small wagon is loaded with barrels, sacks, and crates but she decides not to comment on it, instead focusing on the men who pull out a kettle and a few dinged up metal mugs. Soon tea-water is boiling and the herbs can be added and while there aren’t enough cups for everyone, no one minds sharing as the trio talks about the kelpie in the Lockett’s lake.
“We’ve run into odd trouble too,” Harris admits and then explains about a confrontation by a farm with some duergar. “We were able to chase them off but it seemed like they were desperate...already running from something because for them to be out in the open like that? Not normal.”
Anvindr catches the discreet nods of his friends. “Might be from what we think are fire elementals – some sort of fire creatures at least.”
Filling the men in on what the friends have experienced at the various mines only solidifies the suspicion.
“How you doing?” Harris suddenly asks Morella, eyeing her suspiciously. “You look...different.”
Thinking back, Zilvra realizes that the eladrin had been in her spring-persona last time they met and now she’s a closer match to Anvindr with blue skin and white hair. The druid explains briefly about the daily seasonal changes but rather than it birthing more questions, the humans nod contemplatively.
“That’s pretty wild,” Harris admits. “Got any of those berries?”
The sudden change of subject is a bit startling but also a relief for the druid, it seems, as she begins to conjure the treats.
It’s only a short reprieve before the man continues his questioning: “How old are you guys? I always have a hard time telling with elves and I’ve never seen one of your kind before,” he gestures to Anvindr.
“Kinda rude to ask a lady her age,” Morella grins.
“Anvindr’s not a lady,” the human objects before relenting, “fine but like...you guys are young, right? I know drow live to be 800 years and most genasi I’ve encountered look at the lifespan of a human. What about eladrins?”
“We get old too but it’s a bit harder to tell because time passes differently in the Fey Wild,” Morella admits.
Elmer’s face wrinkles as he tries to consider the possible ages of the people he shares the fire with but Harris is more cool about it, nodding as he sips from the tea cup he shares.
“Is there a fixed ratio in time difference or how does it work?”
“N-no...I...don’t know,” Morella admits reluctantly.
Zilvra’s back grows tight as she realizes what’s about to happen but she’s too late to stop the man from asking his next question: “What is the Fey Wild like?”
Picking at the hem of her tunic, Morella doesn’t face the group when she finally answers. “I don’t know. I can’t remember pretty much anything at all from before I got here.”
“Oh, sorry ‘bout that,” Elmer and Harris both offer tamely.
She shakes her head stoically. “Nah, not your fault.”
“Good thing you’ve got friends helping you out...I’m sure you’ll get your memories back eventually.”
The eladrin looks up at Harris, silvery eyes wet but soft as she clearly takes his words to heart. “I gotta be honest...it’s sort of simpler this way, it seems.”
“Ah, I can believe that,” Harris smiles gently. “But eladrin or not, you’re...something else. You said last time we met that you’re a druid but the only druids I know of are the trolls to the south in the jungle and they are very different from you. Then there are the shamans of the orcs that focus on the elemental planes, drawing on those powers instead.”
“I don’t know how I do it...guess someone must have taught me once,” the druid in question looks at her hands as if they’re brand new, “glad I still know that much, though.”
“I have a colleague,” Harris offers, passing on the tea cup to Elmer, “you must have met him at the Lockett’s, actually.”
The trio share glances. “Gavin?”
“Heh, Gavin...yeah, him.” Harris glances to Zilvra. “Just like you guys and everyone else, he’s got history but for him...let’s just say it gives him an edge. Eye-for-an-eye sort of deal...but it makes him capable of looking just a few seconds ahead in time.”
It would explain a lot: the way he managed to push Morella away as the first water jet hit the house at dinner, his ability to dodge so many of the attacks during the fight. Clearly it comes at a price to use it because the man had been in pain, rubbing ointment in his eye afterwards but...the possibilities with such a skill?
Zilvra narrows her own eyes at the man. “Guess you don’t like him much, telling us his secrets.”
“I trust him with my life,” Harris defends himself, a bit miffed.
“We fought along side him,” Anvindr admits, retelling the event with the marrow.
That becomes the goodnight story for the evening as the people by the nearby fires settle down for the night and Elmer too wants a rest. The humans decide to trust the elven kin to keep watch, grasping the opportunity for a full night’s rest here at the base of the gate leading on east.
---
It’s another sunny day with the promise of high temperatures and summer. Zilvra is starting to get used to the concept of weather – be it rain, cloud or sun – and is more intrigued by the kind of recognition her surroundings show to Morella’s seasonal change. Today the eladrin has flaming auburn hair and matching freckles on a pale skin which seems to be enough for Harris to call her Miss Autumn.
The trio and their two humans are not the only ones waking up and preparing to set out: everyone who have spent the night by the wagons are intent on passing through the gate and they dutifully line up to exit Stouvania in a neat row. Some have documents, a few have little books. The trio have none of these but assume they can use their tags.
“You can’t, though,” Zilvra mumbles to the genasi who looks confused for a second longer than she likes.
Then he clears his throat. “I’ll think of something.”
As it turns out, the goddess of luck – Tymora – must have taken a liking to Anvindr because all he can come up with is calling himself “Breeze” instead and clumsily cover half of his name on the tag...and still it works! Soon the five travel companions are on the other side of the gate, hearts beating rapidly for some of them while the other two, who have no idea what that all was about, look at them oddly.
“What...why...?” Elmer tries to ask once they’re out of earshot.
“You’re wanted?” Harris deduces.
Anvindr tries to shirk the question but eventually relents that: “I’m...not sure...I might have given my name to someone who maybe knew about the killing of some people and kept it secret.”
Filling in the men is a bit tricky as the trio doesn’t want to say too much but in the end they have explained it all except the part with #2 and #5. Oddly, Harris seems far from surprised at the news.
“Figures,” he says, “too much stuff going on.”
Sighing, he pats the rump of the horse which it seems utterly unbothered by. Five people is too much for the small cart and single beast so they are now travelling at a walking pace, flanking the wagon as they head on out of the gullet in which the gate is stationed.
“Yeah...too much,” Harris repeats.
“But what’s to gain from the defences being down?” Anvindr asks.
Harris’ face darkens. “Vulnerability, discord, you name it.” Glancing towards Zilvra he nods. “I’ve spent enough time around nobles to know what they think and who’s vying for power.”
“Wayland?” Anvindr tries.
“Heh, he sure is getting himself into position next to the queen but he isn’t in control of the system, so to speak.”
He explains about a man called Master Sterling who is the one responsible for the operation of not just the Towers – which are now failing with or without his knowledge but which either way should have triggered an alert that would go directly to the queen – but also the Group of Numbers which #2 is the immediate leader of. This makes the trio share glances, and at least Zilvra wonder if this Sterling has either been taken out by #5 as well or if they are working together.
“30 years ago, Stouvania was at war and I was enlisted,” Harris continues. “It was a messy war in many ways but mostly because our intelligence and spy network was far from adequate, a lot of our intel came too late if at all...this was a problem that was rectified during the bloody years but also after where it’s been perfected.” The man looks to the ground for a moment but then shakes it off whatever held his thoughts. “I’m more than 50 years old now and I’ve learned a great deal too including who to side with.”
It seems to be the end of the conversation and for a while the trio walks on in quiet, regarding the two men and (in Zilvra’s case) being impressed with the gentleness of the big beast pulling the cart.
“Is there,” Morella suddenly asks, “a system to your names? Like is Gavin higher ranking than you because his name starts with a G?”
The direct question makes the eyes of the man in question widen as he looks at her but then he grins. “Yeah well...it’s a bit more flat structure than that but sure.” He notices Anvindr’s arched brow. “Oh, yes. I am part of the rebellion – I don’t mind saying that around you guys. I was there that day in the square when the king was killed. I saw what really happened. He didn’t toss the stone, no. He was reaching for it to stop it as it was flung!”
“By someone or magic?” Zilvra asks, causing the man’s eyes to flash dangerously.
“I never saw anyone throw it,” he confirms.
Anvindr nods. “Catapult...it’s a simple spell.”
“Whatever it was. Garrion was arrested but his last words were to get the Masons out. Their families. His family.”
“So now you want revenge?” the genasi guesses.
There’s a shrug as if to ask who wouldn’t. “Bloody war won’t bring us anything,” the man admits, “so we play the long game.”
Zilvra looks to her friends, silently recalling the troubles they’ve heard of. “Undermining the economy...”
“Causing people and eventually the noble to leave for better places...” Anvindr continues.
Harris beams. “Leaving the nation ripe for the taking with only those who truly care about it, ready to rebuild and change a rotten system.”
The trio looks to each other, silently agreeing.
Zilvra is the one to break the news: “There’s another force already corrupting Stouvania other than the nobles...we met a guy called #5 at the Tower.” This admission causes Harris to falter in his step, eyes drilling into the drow. “He took credit for having killed everyone. Tried to kill us too and would have succeeded if we hadn’t been saved, basically.”
“Let me guess...by #2?” They nod. “Good for you,” he admits. “He’s talented and he trained most of us, actually...but he has a dark side too.” Then he straighten his back and pats the horse again, spurring it on at a slighter faster pace. “I’d recommend you come with us. Visit Silver Keep some other time, guys.”
Morella seems open to the idea and even Zilvra is curious, it’s Anvindr who hesitates: “I had business to attend to there.”
“With Lawrence?” Harris guesses correctly. “He’s a good blacksmith but he won’t go anywhere...figured you’d be more looking for tinkerers than blacksmiths what with your armour, though.”
That does spark the artificer’s interest, of course. “Any specific in mind?”
“The best of the best, my friend: the Gear Gnomes.” Harris is grinning, he knows he’s got Anvindr where he wants him now. “A nomadic bunch and last I heard they went north to or past the elves’. But to get there from here, you need to go through the mountains and that’s orc territory.”
Elmer for ones chimes in where he’s sitting on the cart: “Dumb as doors but wicked fast and strong.”
“Not even that dumb anymore, it seems.” Harris shudders at something unspoken. “They’ve got a siege weapon now!”
“Mhmm,” Elmer agrees, “apparently they are giving the Alloy Order a run for their money.”
“They are busy protecting the borders from the orcs...for a while we thought that was why they didn’t deal with the other threats.”
Anvindr nods to himself. “Fine, we’ll go along...that way we can tell what we know and maybe figure out some things for ourselves.”

Since I like both anime art and storytelling, I'm planning to make light novels. Some of them may be short stories, standalone novels, or series. :3 Going to put some of them on Wattpad and Tapas.
I try to balance unique settings with complex characters.
🌊About Me🌊
I've been writing and drawing since I was little. And before I could write, I would tell my mother my story and she'd write it down for me. I've always had a crazy imagination. When I was a tween, I got into anime and manga, so I learned how to draw in that art style.
I am 26, queer-romantic asexual, and feminine-presenting nonbinary. I identify as both a girl and a demi-boy. You can refer to me as she/her, he/him, or they/them. I don't mind. I'm also white and have ADHD, dyspraxia, anxiety, and depression that prevents me from getting a "real" job.
I'm pretty shy and anxious, but once you get to know me, I may say some weird stuff and dad jokes. I'm a big nerd and simp as well.
I am also a Vtuber, but made this alt identity since I didn't think my work would fit that persona.
🌊About My Blog🌊
Here I am going to post about my WIP stories and some of my art. I will also reblog others' art and writing. Many aesthetics, fandoms, and other stuff may be reblogged as well with tags if it inspires my work.
Here I hope to find more creators to connect with and find some epic creations. Feel free to message me if you'd like, though I am kinda shy. :3
I am okay with:

When going on a delivery, she accidentally uncovers dark secrets and ends up infected with the same Ebony Plague that haunted her hometown as a child. But when she survives the illness and instead develops superhuman abilities, she joins a mutant resistance group to fight against the Veniculan Empire, the Gaia Corporation, and other mutants with immoral goals.

A trans femboy wood elf named Nel finds the homeland of his people - the rain forests of Falinor - and goes on an adventure to form a guild of adventurers! Still kind of in the vibes stage I guess, but I have some ideas formed for lore and characters. :> Something more cute and lighthearted for me to write in contrast to Ultra Drive.
Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I don't have much that I can share at the moment due to much of my writing being lost (school assignments or lost on old computers) or attached to other identities. I also had a looong writer's/art block.

I’ve seen a lot of fics n headcanons where Dick Grayson has adhd, and I see you. But also. Consider: Tim Drake having (undiagnosed) adhd. As a certified adhd bitch myself, I have A Lot to say about this, so more under the cut.
Before we get into it, just a quick disclaimer: pretty much all of my dc knowledge is from fandom osmosis, so. If you see something that’s ooc or contradicts canon no you didn’t. Now with that out of the way, on to the main event!
Okay, so! First of all, let’s start at the very beginning. That’s right, I’m talking about Tim Drake’s “night photography”! Now I’m not gonna say neurotypical kids don’t get up to some dumb ass shit when left unsupervised for long periods of time, because they absolutely do. But. The complete disregard for the many, many dangers a young child alone in Gotham at night would face is still notable. And he doesn’t just ignore danger - he runs straight at it. That shows an impressive lack of impulse control, and inability to factor future consequences into current decisions, both of which are hallmarks of adhd. Plus, hyperfixation kinda… changes? How you perceive things. So if Tim was hyperfixated on getting the perfect shot whenever a major crime/fight happened near him, he may not have processed that he was danger at all during the part most likely to scare a neurotypical child away.
Next, we have the coffee. Yes, I know the coffee thing is super overblown by the fandom and not really supported by canon but ssshshhhhhh my world my rules Tim drinks lots of coffee. Now, this one’s kinda obvious, but caffeine is a stimulant and surprise surprise so are most adhd meds. I have seen firsthand how ppl with undiagnosed adhd will mainline caffeine as a form of self medication, whether they’re aware of it or not. Some people use soda or energy drinks, but coffee’s also a really popular choice for this kinda thing. So not only is it completely plausible for someone with undiagnosed adhd to self medicate by drinking a shitton of coffee, it’s extremely common.
Next up! We have the insomnia. Which, again, I think might be played up a lot in fic? But this is my world and you’re reading in it, so. Tim’s an insomniac. This is one of the less well known symptoms of adhd, but again I speak from firsthand experience when I say it’s a big one. Insomnia is extremely common among ppl with adhd, for a couple reasons. One is time blindness, which I’ll come back to in the next point. But also? It’s just really hard to turn your brain off. And if a large portion of Tim’s brain space is being devoted to casework, guess what. That inability to turn one’s brain off will manifest as late night case solving blitzes. Not to mention that hyperfixation, again, changes the way you perceive things. When I hyperfixate on something I often lose hours at a time, and bodily needs like hunger, tiredness, the bathroom, etc aren’t just unimportant they straight up don’t register. With the number of times I’ve come out of a hyperfocus to realize that I have a dehydration headache that’s been brewing for at least an hour, or have completely skipped a major meal, or desperately need to pee, I can 100% believe Tim not noticing any sleep deprivation symptoms until he’s finished whatever he was working on. And I, again, speak from experience when I say that if you happen to hyperfixate at something at the wrong time of night you will be staying up way later than is reasonable. Which brings me to my next point of…
Time blindness! My most favoritist thing in the whole wide world! (/sarcasm) This shit can and absolutely will fuck up your ability to be a functioning human if you let it. Having no internal clock causes more problems than the obvious losing track of time. It means your appetite is sporadic at best and you could very easily forget to eat. It means your sleep schedule has a tendency to just disintegrate if you don’t keep on it. It means being completely dependent on external clocks to know how long things are/should be taking, even for stupid shit like cooking food or brushing your teeth. It means that if you don’t set an alarm for something there is a very real possibility that something isn’t happening no matter how much you want or need it to. In short, it completely fucks up your ability to care for yourself without a lot of external regimented support. Now, who does that remind you of? Which member of the batfamily is known for neglecting his own health? I may not read many comics but the sheer number of “Tim Drake subsists solely on coffee and spite” jokes on ao3 and tumblr is very telling.
His brains. Tim is very, very smart. Have you ever heard the phrase “twice exceptional?” It describes Tim Drake to a t. Plus, I’m living proof of how you can be both smart of brain and dumb of ass. This may be more of a “my family who just so happens to consist entirely of twice exceptional adhd dumbasses” thing than something most ppl with adhd experience, but. You can be really smart and incredible at putting together complex plans, both ahead of time and on the fly, and still have. No common sense whatsoever. Which seems to be a lot of Tim’s characterization: incredibly smart while simultaneously being a complete dumbass. So make of that what you will.
And most compellingly? I think it’s funny. This kid is brothers with Dick Grayson and best friends with Bart Allen and especially next to those two people would never expect Tim to be the one with the quote unquote “cant sit still disorder”. Yknow what? Let’s take this a step further. Let’s make Bart autistic. (I don’t know enough about the flash family to say how accurate this is but for the sake of the joke let’s say he is). People see Impulse standing next to Red Robin and they think they know which one is adhd and which is autistic and they are Wrong. Tim n Bart are Completely unaware of this but the rest of their team finds it hilarious. There’s probably at least one running joke about it.

Why else did the fandom come up with the all member names theory? Because JM was so IN THEIR FACE that there had to be an explanation for it, right? If the J wasn't there, who would go ahead and think RM and MY and inverted V and clubbing the J for all J initial members.
This right here? This changed my whole thought on that tattoo. I remember being a baby army (...2 years ago lol), and reading the theories regarding the meaning = Army + BTS. But I kinda thought of it as a very stupid concept because if there truly were supposed to be representatives of the members, why have Hobi, Jin AND Jungkook be all put into a singular J? Especially because everyone else is (inadvertently) included by something unique. And Hobi and Jin mean so much to JK that it would be kinda insulting of him to be like "So here's a tattoo but these two hyungs get just a J cause...? Plot I guess?"
So, being rational, one would accept JK's own explanation, and I think it's both very cute but also - as both you and another anon pointed out - a bit odd. Why a single J? If it represents him, why not use JK or something more distinctive? If it bothered him this much that it wasn't symmetrical, why not use another symbol to mirror the crown?
You don't have to be a shipper to think that. Even if it wasn't placed over the M, it would be weird. I don't want to question young Jungkook too harshly - people get odd tattoos all the time - but it's still really funny how the fandom NEEDED it to be an OT7 tattoo because otherwise it just HAD to be confirmation of a ship. Like, there's no middle ground?
It's like all the times that Tkkers have to completely deny the friendship and love between Jikook to make their ship even exist at all. The gaslighting tkkers (and yoonminers) put army through is kind of insane. Not even just from a Jikooker perspective, but in general. There's so much "lore" that gets passed around but never questioned because no one takes the time to watch most of the OG content anymore, instead relying on twitter, tiktok and insta. It's like reading a series of books by watching FMVs and browsing on social media.
"I don't want to judge young Jungkook too harshly" lol. You're cute.
I've nothing more to add. :) I agree.

The racism within the dc fandom is also really weird cause so many people prefer to pretend that white characters are poc and completely ignore the actual nonwhite characters.
Yeah. It's racism, fetishization, and pretending to care all around. They refuse to pick up characters that are genuinely better representations (sometimes even as caricatures it's that bad) because they still care more about whiteness but want the brownie points of caring about poc.
Like suddenly Jason Todd is this horned up sex freak the second he's someone's latino headcanon? Really, you think that's helping anyone. As if Devin Grayson doesn't get chased with torches and pitchforks for the Romani version she had done for Dick
Oh and don't forget nerdy smart boy Tim is asian......who would've guess that one????
But again sometimes the (predominantly) white people who do care about poc also butcher them too because again this is about pretending to care. The second Damian is "of age" people fantasize about him in "arab gear" starting a harem that includes his sisters.
On here they'll go on and on about the "batboys" but leave out any male batfamily character that's not white while white-washing Dick and Damian (if, again not being racist and fetish-y)
Draw Kon and the Supers with darker skin but ignore every darker skin character in the superfamily or that exists with the same/similar powers. Thao-La, Val-Zod, and many others exist. Not forgetting the Kong Kenan is from China and Otho and Osul are coded (it's kinda vague and weird, but they very much do not look like Clark or Kara)
Or god the blandest, most stereotypical shit with the worst personalities. I need to stop seeing the worst AAVE for white characters
Fortunately, there are some people who manage to do both respectfully. Usually, you have to find people who don't only watch Young Justice lmao
