I think I know which reaction anon is talking about and that infuriated me because why are these narratives still continuing. It almost feels like a type of gaslighting. I do think Tae became slightly withdrawn though. I feel like his intentions for having fun on the show was pure and genuine but things got weird because he probably became annoyed with the constant staff interference and how the dynamics were being framed. Tae knew exactly how he would be portrayed and he was over it.

i think several things were going on side by side.

first of all he was probably very busy. he managed to squeeze jeju into his schedule (i personally believe to spend time with jk) but i’m sure there was plenty more to plan/organize/check in on. hence the phone. also if he was considering the trip more of a vacation than work…there aren’t any rules about limited screen time 😭

secondly…even though he’d been “invited” to be part of the show, the show was still being marketed as a duo’s project. and said duo reaaaally didn’t have a lot of content to satisfy the intended audience. that in mind, i don’t think it’s far fetched to reason tae was prompted to stay in the background for some time. i mean just look at the magical teleportations lmao.

and i also think he was just quite tired. in the first episode he was in he made a comment about the cameras, so it’s fair to say he’s not really a fan of being filmed relaxing 24/7. who is lol

Kids like svetlana and she likes them as well, her instincts as a mother have always been sharp.

But she’s so confident, or at least makes it seem like she is confident around other people, and is ok with talking about what she does for work.

She has a very motherly and big sister vibe about her and is always ok with helping people.

Both of them grew up badly and both are great mothers and, Debbie ran a daycare as a child and was good at it.

Svetlana obviously has a connection with kids, I mean kev handed one of the girls to this strange woman who looked nothing like Veronica and baby was ok with it. No complaints. Svet even fed her.

Debbie and svetlana are both similar mothers and this mixed with how svetlana treated the twins (plus Liam and yev) I think she would enjoy working at a daycare. At least for a few months.

This just might be very stupid and something svetlana would hate and you probably don’t agree with it lol - but again, I wanted to know if you had anything to add to this idea and the points I made about svet in the beginning.

This is something that doesn’t get talked about enough, I think. Svetlana doesn’t just love Yevgeny— she genuinely cares about other people’s kids, too. And they seem to like her in return.

I think the first positive thing that anyone says about Svetlana on the show comes from Debbie in S5, when she’s talking to Fiona or V and she goes, “she’s great with kids”, or something along those lines. I always appreciate it when one of the characters acknowledges something positive about Svetlana that has nothing to do with her sexuality, and that quote is one of my favorites because it’s not where anyone’s mind goes when they think about Svetlana but she really is a natural with kids. Those maternal instincts are robust.

I’ve been meaning to talk about this in greater detail, but I think Svetlana’s confidence is genuine. We’re never given any indication that it isn’t. She strikes me as someone who put in the work to accept herself as she is and feel comfortable in her own skin and actually got there. People were constantly looking down on her and trying to make her feel less than, but she never let it get to her. Nor did she believe any of the ugly things they said to her.

Svetlana knows who she is and she’s not ashamed of where she’s been. I think it’s obvious to anyone who meets her how self-assured she is. She’s never trying too hard. This sort of attitude can inspire jealousy, as I believe it did with Fiona, but it can also lead other people to feel at ease around you. This is what I imagine led Debbie to ask her for advice. We see how comfortable Debbie is around Svetlana and that’s a big indicator of how helpful and approachable Svetlana can be.

I love that you included the scene where she pulls Tommy’s rotted tooth out because I always mean to mention it but forget to.

I don’t think her running a daycare is far-fetched at all. She likes and is good with kids. And she’s very responsible. I didn’t even consider how whichever twin Kev handed her at the park didn’t cry when Svetlana took her, or how Svetlana was able to feed her without any trouble. That’s a great observation.

I agree with all of the Svet/Debbie similarities and parallels. I wish we would have gotten more scenes between them because my gut tells me that Svet saw some of her younger self in Debbie. I love how there was never any judgment whatsoever between them, just honesty and a sincere desire to extend some help. That’s such a rare thing on Shameless, especially between two women.

It’s not stupid at all, and I certainly don’t disagree. I think you’re right on the money. I have a list of jobs that I think Svetlana would be good at in my drafts and kindergarten teacher is one of them. It’s what she pretended she was when she was a surrogate and it got me thinking. Daycare is very similar, so we’re on the same page. She has all of the skills for it and she genuinely likes kids, so she wouldn’t just be good at it but enjoy it as well.

Yeah, it’s always tricky to know what’s actually real in the sea of fan service and PR (almost nothing is lbr) but EarthMix’s love language seems to be constant bickering and they did genuinely look like they were going through it, so it’s not that far-fetched to believe that one of their quarrels went a bit too far and resulted in this messy fight.

Why is Myrah not dornish? I am curious because she looks like I imagined Oberyn's dughters with Ellaria and when I read she is from Reach I was confused. Among 7 kingdoms only people from Dorne are non white as far as I am concerned. It's not hate, I genuinely thought you would write her as dornish with all pictures you tagged as myrah.

Myrah is from the vale because half of her father’s family is from myr and half is from the vale. The castle that is to become hers sits there. If someone were to ask her where she is from, she’d say the vale. If someone asked her what her ethnic makeup is, that is a different story

Myrah’s mom (amal) rhoynish and summer islander. I’ve mentioned Myrah’s grandma in the piece, she lives in the dornish marshes. I’ve also mentioned the places her maternal grandmother hold dear to her… they are inhabited by people of color. I have mentioned Myrah’s heritage and how it affects her clothing here. In chapter 9, she literally talks about naming her bunny nymeria.

A theory I heard about Lian's behaviour is that he thinks they're playing some sort of teasing game as a method of flirting, and that Kuea is on the same page as him (which he's not, but Lian doesn't fully realise that until Kuea starts crying in the kitchen)

Obviously they need to communicate this to get on the same page, but it does explain a bit about how Lian keeps pushing the way he does.

Yeah Lian’s character arc baffles me because after watching the initial breakup scene I had assumed that we were supposed to understand that he was *angry*. Like, that scene — particularly the Annabelle comment — made much more sense if Lian was hurt and angry that Kuea had, for seemingly no reason, decided to hide every aspect of his life from him. I thought the Annabelle line was him saying, “I don’t want to marry this artificial mask covering the person I used to love.”

But as soon as the show started saying how Lian just thought Kuea was ~in on the joke/teasing~ or whatever I’m just like ??? Especially since it seems like Kuea had very obvious reasons to be cautious after all? I’m glad he’s being better now and all, but every time he’s actually soft and willing to communicate I’m a little more retroactively angry at ep1!Lian because clearly he knows what genuinely lighthearted teasing looks like and what happened in ep 1 was,, not it.

I heard about the teasing theory from a few people now and idk. it doesn't make sense to me. Or maybe I’m just stupid. But I never picked up that kind of vibe and no offense but it seems very far-fetched to me. Like,,,, you’re trying to tell me Lian is being ambivalent towards Kuea and locking him up and being hypocritical etc. because he thinks they’re playing a game? Hell nah. I mean the part about him realizing Kuea isn’t on the same page when he started crying in the kitchen does make sense because that scene did seem like a turning point somehow but still. Bad stepped out of the nether portal appearing back to the outside world. He was busy collecting quartz to make some repairs to his and Skeppy’s mansion. Walking along the bridge path, he went to a nearby crafting table to craft the quartz into quartz blocks.

His crafting was disturbed however when he suddenly heard a shriek. He whirled his head to the right, alarmed that something terrible was happening.

Tommy was rolling on the grass, spitting out cuss words and laughing his head off, while Tubbo… he has no idea what Tubbo was doing. He sees that he has his hands on Tommy's sides, but he can't tell what's happening or why Tommy was acting like that.

Tubbo had a grin on his face. "So are you going to take back what you said to me, bitch?" His hands moved to Tommy's stomach area, almost getting kicked by Tommy in the process. "FUCK! NAHAHA!"

Bad's tail swished from side to side for a moment. Even though he has no idea what's going on, he was intrigued. Whatever they were doing, it looked like they were having fun. Especially Tommy, judging by how hard he's laughing.

After a few more seconds passed, Bad finished crafting what he needed and walked back to the mansion. Skeppy was already there and was making progress with the repairs on the roof.

"Geppyyy, I'm back!" Bad greeted with a sing-song tone in his voice. Skeppy looked at Bad, smiled, and came back down to see him. "Hey! Did you get more quartz?"

"I got more quartz!" Bad happily announced while his tail swished about.

"Finally! I was running low on slabs. What took you so long?"

"Hey! I was getting as much as I can, you mutton chop!"

Skeppy giggled and thanked him when Bad split the amount of blocks between the two. They talked for a long time while building together. Skeppy would bring up random topics to talk about, and Bad brought up potential improvements on their estate.

During a period of silence between the two, Bad thought back to that scenario he saw with Tommy and Tubbo. He paused in thought, wondering if he should bring it up.

A part of him didn't want to, because he himself wouldn't even know what he's talking about. Then again, maybe Skeppy can clear up any confusion if he talks about it as best as he can.

"Hey, Skeppy?"

"Mmm?" Skeppy was only half paying attention, trying to make a nice staircase to give their mansion a more modern look.

"So.. you know how on my way back, I stopped by a crafting table to turn the quartz I mined into blocks?"

"Uhh yeah?"

"Well, while I was crafting I saw Tommy and Tubbo on the ground. And I saw something very peculiar.."

Skeppy paused with his building for a moment and looked at him. "Go on?"

"Tubbo was doing something to Tommy, but I don't know what he was doing. I don’t know how to describe it other than he had his hands on him."

Skeppy frowned a bit, not knowing where Bad was getting at. "What? What do you mean? Was he hurting him or something?"

Bad eyed to the side and thought about it. "No, I don't think it was anything like that. Tommy was laughing a lot so he didn't seem like he was in pain.. I guess?

"Laughing.." Skeppy started slowly, trying to put the pieces together. "So you mean that you saw Tubbo tickling him?" He watched as Bad tilted his head in confusion.

"Tickling..?"

"Tickling.. You know, when someone tickles another person and..?"

A moment of silence has passed as Bad still held that confused look on his face. "Wait a minute. You don’t know what that is?"

"...No?"

Skeppy was absolutely dumbfounded. "What?! You seriously-.. How?!"

Bad's tail twitched nervously as a tinge of red appeared on his face. "I-I don't know! This is probably the first time I'm hearing this word Skeppy!"

Skeppy took a moment before continuing. Now that he thought about it, Bad did grow up in the Nether. It may not be too far fetched to assume that stuff like this just never happens. On top of that, English isn't the demon's first language either. It's believable that he's never heard the word "tickle" either.

"Does this mean you've never been tickled before? Not even when you were a child or..?"

Bad shook his head. "How does tickling even work?" He asks ever so innocently.

"Oh god how do I even.. Uh, you see.. tickling someone basically means that you.." Skeppy warily puts his hands up, struggling to come up with an explanation "..use your fingers.. to touch someone where it makes them laugh."

Bad thought back to when he saw Tubbo tickling Tommy. "Okay.. but why do they laugh? I don't get what's so funny about someone's touch."

"It's not that it's funny. It's because it feels.. tickly or tingly or.." Skeppy lightly facepalms. "I'm really bad at describing it. It's like one of those things that people generally know about, that it doesn't need to be explained."

"So what you're saying is if I touch, um, if I tickle your shoulder, that means you're going to start laughing?" Bad curiously put a hand on Skeppy's shoulder.

"Uhh that's.. not exactly how it works."

"Hmm.." Skeppy can see the genuine confusion in his face. Bad doesn't even know how to tickle, or what it even felt like. Skeppy’s eyes widened as a smile appeared on his face. This gives him an idea!

"Actually, why don't I just show you! That would be way easier than just trying to explain it!"

"Show me?" Bad's tail wavered in the air for a bit.

"Yeah! I'll show you by tickling you! ..If you're okay with that?"

"Oh! ..Hm.." Bad wasn't sure about it. He thinks he feels okay with it, but he's never been tickled before, so he doesn't know. Then again, it didn't look like it was a bad thing. Right?

Skeppy could tell that Bad was uncertain, so he gave him a patient smile."If you end up feeling uncomfortable, I'll stop tickling you. All I'm going to do is a demonstration, okay? Think of it as a test! Do you trust me?"

Bad smiled and nodded as his tail continued to swish from side to side. A demonstration sounded fine to him, and he trusted Skeppy. He would never purposely harm him. "Okay, I'm okay with it."

"Alright then! Keep your arms up and try to stay still!" Skeppy grinned wanting to jump right in.

"Huh?"

"Just lift your arms up a little bit." He giggled.

Despite not seeing the point of this, he did as he was told, standing still while Skeppy was contemplating where he should start. "You see Bad, when you tickle someone, you have to go for specific areas like riiiiight here."

He began by lightly poking and prodding Bad's stomach. Bad didn't know what he was expecting, but he let out a small gasp when he started feeling.. a strange sensation.

This new sensation was pleasant yet somehow unbearable. For some reason he had the urge to laugh, feeling the sniggers build up inside his chest.

Skeppy observed Bad. Seeing that he was slightly squirming with a wobbly smile on his face, he beamed. Bad was ticklish!

"Come on Bad hold still! I'm trying to show you how this works!"

"I'm t-trying." He broke into a grin. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stand still. He was slowly moving backwards, not that it mattered anyway. Skeppy would follow, not making the tickling disappear.

"Skeppy, ihit feels strahange." Bad felt his back being pressed up against the wall as titters started to pour out of his mouth.

"Good strange or bad stange?" Skeppy chuckled a bit while scribbling his fingers on Bad’s stomach.

"I.. Ihi dohon't know?" Bad answered truthfully. Skeppy only smiled at him. Since Bad didn't ask for him to stop, he took it as a sign that it was okay to continue.

"Hmm.. Let’s try another spot then?" He stopped tickling his stomach and moved to his sides. The reaction was almost immediate.

"ehe..aHAheeheehehaha!"

"Oooo now we're talking!" Skeppy couldn’t help but smirk.

The tittering turned into squeaky giggling as these tickly sensations became stronger. His face was starting to flush up and even his tail was being twitchy. Skeppy started giggling along with him, seeing the adorable state that he’s in. “It looks like this is a good spot for you Bad!”

"Skehehehee! Ihihihi cahahan't!" His knees gave up as he slowly slid down to the floor. “Curling yourself up on the floor isn’t going to help you Bad.” Skeppy teased, and it turns out that he was right. He was still helplessly giggling as Skeppy was attacking his sides.

“Hey wait a minute. Didn’t I tell you to keep your arms up mister?” Skeppy decided to grab one of Bad’s hands, lifting it up above his head. He was tickling his now exposed side with the other hand.

“Wahahahait! I'm sorreheehee!” Bad squirmed for a bit and tried to pull his lifted up hand away from Skeppy’s clutches. He was also trying to bat Skeppy’s merciless fingers away with his other hand. None of that was very effective.

Skeppy couldn’t really help himself. He always loved toying with Bad, and this was a fun new way to do it. “Uuuup annnd dowwwn annnd uuup annnd dowwwn and-” Skeppy felt Bad go limp, his giggling becoming more squeaky and high pitched. Even his tail was wagging on the floor.

“Are you enjoying yourself Bad? I’m gonna move to the next spot now. You’re okay with that?” Bad was covering his face with his free arm, but he saw him nod even though he was such a giggly mess. That was surprisingly adorable to Skeppy, giving him permission to tickle him silly.

“AHAHIEEE!"

Skeppy was caught off guard and, cackling at that embarrassingly loud squeal. "What the fuck was thahahat?!" Skeppy apparently found a sweet spot. He was pinching both of Bad’s hips. Bad let out another squeal before dissolving into hiccupy high pitched laughter.

"LAHAHAN- *hic* AHAHAHA!" The poor guy couldn't even get his language remark out. His tail was spazzing out, hitting the wall and floor repeatedly with small thuds.

"Awww Baaad!" He cooed. Skeppy didn’t know what was cuter. Bad’s hysterical laughter or the fact that Bad is holding still while covering his face with both hands. “You know, I think you should laugh more often Bad. It’s cute.” Skeppy started drilling his thumbs into Bad’s hips, making Bad’s laugh nearly silent.

"HEHEehee! *hic* I CAHAN'T BREHEHEATHE!"

"Awe does it tickle too much for youuu? Is the wittle badboyhalo too ticklish?" Bad swears that Skeppy was making this worse the more he talked as he felt his face get even warmer.

"YeheHEE YEHEHEHEHES! ..*hic*"

Skeppy giggled a bit at his honesty. "Aw, how cute." His fingers skittered across Bad's stomach and sides, making him let out a whinny squeal. It was a little bit of break for him since his laughter became less intense.

After a few more seconds, Skeppy slowly came to a stop. "Okay okay, I think you had more than enough.”

Bad was catching his breath, slightly laughing because of the ghost tickles. He was hiding his face in his hoodie, leaning against Skeppy. "You were having fun, weren’t you, you muffinhead."

Skeppy giggled in response as he hugged him. "I'm sorryyyy. Did I go too far?"

“That was.. a lot. But I guess that wasn’t so bad..” Bad admitted. “So what you’re saying is, you liked it?” Skeppy grinned. Bad peaked out of his hoodie before responding. "I uh.. I thought that it was interesting and I didn't.. hate it."

"Dude you totally liked it. It was kind of obvious since your tail kept wagging."

"Wh- No it wasn't!"

Skeppy laughed as he saw Bad's flustered face. "Yes it was. Now come on, let's finish building already!" He pinched Bad’s side making him squeak before standing up and offering a hand.

Bad let out an embarrassed “grr” before he took Skeppy’s hand to help him stand up. A few more seconds of silence and passed. Then, Bad suddenly had an important question in mind. He asked Skeppy the moment he thought about it.

"Hey Skeppy, are you ticklish?"

Skeppy hasn't denied something so fast in his entire life.

I’d also like to say in advance that I am aware of how unpatriotic I sound, and so I accept people’s disagreement on the matter.

I don’t know how I feel about Jen’s latest post on Instagram.

I’m obviously thrilled that there is going to be a screen adaptation of the Ascendance Series. Like literally over the moon. I’m still traumatised from that time a bit less than a decade ago when they were working on a film and it was cancelled. I remember being extremely upset and thinking “fine, I’ll make a film myself when I’m older” 😂.

But I really hope that the photo is just concept art or something similar. Because (again, I mean no offence to the actors. I’m just looking at this from a very critical point of view) the actors in the photo are significantly older than the characters in the books.

And Jaron’s age, (and hence everyone else’s age) is crucial to the series. It adds a layer of story - how people find it more difficult accepting him as king and his own lack of self worth because he’s just a “boy King”. How he grew up, how he was abandoned, the unfair amount of suffering he experiences even before being an adult and just how powerful and intelligent he is.

Granted, I never wanted any one them to look 14 in all honesty, I’ve always envisioned them slightly older. This is for multiple reasons; 1, because in medieval times teenagers already looked like young adults due to sun exposure and labour; 2, some medieval teenagers were already considered of-age because people died young and so becoming an adult was a rushed process, 3 (this one is superficial and self-centred, I apologise in advance), because it would be weird to “simp” over someone who looks 14 (in my defence, I’ve been loving these characters since I was maybe 13/14, so in my mind they have grown up with me. Now that I’ve surpassed their supposed age and obviously don’t want to be creepy, I considered them a bit older - but vitally, still much younger than the picture [maybe 16-18 yrs old]); and 4, (again, this one is a bit selfish and childhood-dream-esque in a way), I started pursuing acting when I was younger and still do, to this day, because I wanted to audition for Imogen lmao 😩😂 (but that’s beside the point, moving on… I know it’s a very far-fetched and whimsical desire but it’s been ingrained in me for many years and here I am spilling the beans. Besides, I’m pretty sure many of you share that dream or a similar one so I feel no little to no shame).

But setting all those biases aside, I really feel like the actors should be no older than young adults (those who are playing Jaron, Roden, Tobias, Imogen and Amarinda). Like if it’s a legal problem or one of expenses, casting adult actors who are younger than about 25 but who still look about 16-18, would be ideal. Because (again, I respect the actors themselves hugely) in the photo, but they all look like complete adults to me and that just does’t agree with what I envisioned.

I want to discuss this with you guys in the comments because I want to hear thoughts. I’ve been reading these books for almost a decade now and know them quote-by-quote, and know the characters as well as I’d know my friends (pretty sad but that’s the reality lol). I know many of you are also super fans of the series and have your own ideas of what Jaron and the crew looks like. If you go to Jaron’s actor’s Instagram you will see photos of the rest of the cast (whether this is confirmed or not, I have no clue). But any superficial thoughts and acting aspirations aside, (I’ve already spilled my deepest, actor-centric desires above so don’t take a stab at them because I’m ✨delicate✨), I want to genuinely hear and discuss what you think about my panicked assessment of the photo, and see if you guys share my concerns or have none about the matter at all.

having seen raiden’s story quest,,, i’m quite disappointed in a way, but i think having time for herself is necessary,,, i guess? now here are my “complaints” though

(I’m merely pointing these out for constructive criticism, nothing against the character & all. I like Ei in a way I can actually see a few qualities of myself in her but not on her story lmao)

story quest spoilers utc

1. She did genuinely apologize to the traveler for her wrong decisions, which is a good part, but how about to her people? The vision holders? I believe they, most especially, deserve it.

2. Adding to point 1, it seems she only cares Inazuma for Inazuma. She may care for her people, in a way, but I think in her point of view, she sees taking care of Inazuma as a way of taking care of her people. I wish this is somehow addressed in a way? For the future story quest I hope. That’s how I read it, I’m not sure for others.

3. It’s lacking, honestly. I’m not saying I dislike it because it’s quite fun honestly it has a nice pace, but considering the fact that we had 2 previous Archon story quests for Venti & Zhongli, they both have cut scenes in the end, right? Or some kind of meaningful end in a way. For Raiden’s it ended the same way as the Archon Quest did, with Guuji Yae. I don’t have complaints seeing Yae but don’t you think it’s too far-fetched? We haven’t asked Ei about anything before, even in her story quest?? I get the fact that she’s a god but even Venti and Zhongli answered us. Maybe it’s the difference in personality, but still, I think it’s kind of disappointing in my part.

4. The Kujou Kamaji cut scene near the end… seriously one part showed he already has his eyeglasses then the next he doesn’t (he originally doesn’t because it got flown away) it was honestly eyebrow-raising since even that part is kind of “lazy” in Mihoyo’s part. Although that’s just a minor mistake, but still.

5. It needs a part 2. Honestly, Raiden Shogun & Ei needs redemption. Yes, Raiden Shogun may be a puppet but like Ei said, she is the Raiden Shogun, her consciousness is just separate… in a way. I was kind of hoping she would get other people’s insight while looking around but… well, it only showed how the people still love her & etc, but that’s only the perspective of those who weren’t affected by the Sakoku Decree. What of those who bears Visions? Were their Visions returned? Did their Ambitions returned as well? Do they not have something to say to the Shogun? She needs to know those. She doesn’t seem to have a clue what to do, so having her see the perspective of those who were greatly affected by the Decree would help her think of “Inazuma’s way to Eternity”, and I think she will apologize to them as well. Ei doesn’t seem to be a bad person, just a different way of thinking.

6. Wait, adding onto this, does the traveler have anything to gain from this? From what I know in the previous story quests, the traveler asks for their sibling, why is it that it’s not even implied her even for the slightest part??

7. And also just a suggestion to Mihoyo, can you stop it with the 4pc Noblesse Oblige? This is what happened during HuTao story quest as well, also Yoimiya’s. (I just did Hutao’s so I kind of remembered it) Maybe correctly place them with their right artifacts, no? You’re confusing those who wants to build their character correctly plus this takes away so much potential damage for the characters.

But apart from those, on a positive note, I commend the Eng VA of Kujou Kamaji like wow his lines are very well expressed. As a Theater Artist, I was heavily impressed (hey that kinda rhymes jxjsks)

(if you find the receipts, i'd love to see them! it's very cute either way.) i suppose you are entirely right about the fact that they have pointedly never denied this outright, but i also feel like that's some classic trolling by misha? this got kind of long so i am putting the rest of your asks and my answers under the cut! 

(2) like sooo many people i see in this fandom, i have never shipped rpf - and honestly, with cockles, still don't? i just watch some of their interactions and my brain goes ding-ding-ding-ding and i go - what? what is it??? and i can't figure out if i am projecting or seeing things i WANT to see. equally... they are real people and i don't want to be a creep about this. my problem with a lot that i've seen is that some gifs take interactions out of context (...)

(3) i would say probably the biggest problem i have with it is that while some things i genuinely cannot find a het/platonic explanation for, but there are a lot of gifs which have slowed down movements/cherry-picked moments/taken things out of contexts, and feels less flirty when you watch the actual full video(s). so what, out of all this, would you say is the most damning evidence that cockles is an Actual True thing, if you had to pick some select things? :)

(4) okay, last ask! sorry for rambling. on your point of waking up together - i'm not sure of the context, and i don't want to speculate too much on information that we don't have, but if they are staying at a hotel in a city abroad/elsewhere, i figure it wouldn't be too far-fetched for them to share a room with cast mates? so waking up together doesn't necessarily have Those implications? i don't know. thanks for bearing with me!

so first things first: i kind of feel like in the end, if you have seen and read everything there is to see and read when it comes to cockles, and still are not sure about any of it or are inclined to think that it’s not something more than a close friendship, then i’m probably not going to be able to ‘sway’ you. sometimes it is just a matter of difference of perspectives, and that’s fine! however, seeing as you asked this in a way that makes it clear that you are genuinely curious, i obviously will respond. 

you are right that what misha said could be implying that it’s not real, but then again: he never outright denied it. neither of them have. i think that a lot of the time misha is very tongue in cheek about it. that doesn’t mean that it’s not real, though. 

i understand never shipping real people, and not wanting to feel like a creep. the thing is though: this goes for about 90% of the cockles fandom, too. most of us never shipped irl people before, and we certainly don’t wanna be creeps about it. being creeps about it would be going up to jensen and misha or their loved ones and confronting them with anything cockles related. but the decent people in this corner of the fandom know not to do that, and we merely talk about it with each other online. i personally don’t feel like a creep (not saying that you are implying this btw!) for observing what they put in front of us, time and time again, which they do with the full knowledge that people do in fact ship them.

i see what you mean about some things getting taken out of context, and i’ve seen that too. i agree with you that sometimes people can read into things a bit too much. as to the slowed down gifs, for me personally the faster versions don’t take away what i see in those gifs: it’s intimate body language, whatever way i look at it. 

you asked me to pick some moments or facts that make me think that they are actually together, and honestly that is very hard to do. for me, what it comes down to is that, if you take any of these things as a standalone fact, you might be able to explain it away. but when you combine all of it together - and trust me, it’s a lot. just ask my best friend who has had to listen to me talk about them for two full nights - i can’t see the picture that it paints as anything other than: they have (or at the very least have had in the past) an intimate relationship with each other. 

that being said, these are the things that stand out the most for me: 

the way they look at each other, but especially the way jensen looks at misha at any given time. that is the look of a man who adores the person he is looking at. the way that nobody else can make him laugh like misha, for the stupidest fucking shit. when they think about each other/talk about each other, they get this soft look on their faces that honestly is nothing like how i talk about any of my close friends. i once saw a comparison vid of jensen talking about danneel and jensen talking about misha and he had the same look on his face. the fact that jensen flirted with danneel by making her laugh on set, making kissy faces, which is something that he also did with misha. the fact that jensen gave him his ring. i literally for the life of me cannot think of a platonic reasoning for this. 

the fact that they remembered and went back to a restaurant they were at 10 years ago, sat at the exact same table, and took selfies both of those times, and then posted it at a random date as a throwback to ‘10 years ago’ even though at the moment the first picture was taken, they had already known each other for a year and a half. so clearly, that night was special for them. special enough to remember the exact same table, special enough that they felt the need to go back there, and to share it with us. the background of those pictures is the same background as the picture jensen posted of him and danneel on their first holiday together. clearly both of those occasions were very important to him. important enough to post about. 

something that i know might seem kinda shady and not totally trustworthy, is the fact that i’ve seen multiple people mention that they have information that they would never share online (because they don’t want to put jensen and misha in a compromising position) but the information in question confirmed it for them. obviously people could be lying or could be jumping to conclusions, without said information we can never know for sure, but i can’t help but feel like there probably is a truth to it. 

and i know this is a very recent one, but: ‘mish. dee.’ the two most important people in his life, who i am sure he would have addressed as mish & dee if he could have. obviously i could mention a lot more things, but i think these are some of the things that stand out to me the most. 

as for the hotel situation at cons: i honestly have no clue, but i kind of feel like they are big enough stars to have their own hotel rooms. but like i said, i do not know at all. i guess it’s possible that they have to share. who knows!

I know you’ve said before that you’ve never fully believed buddie will become canon (same here), but has your opinion changed at all since last episode? I feel like I believe slightly more but I don’t want to be disappointed like always ):

mmm im always going to lean toward the skeptical side because that's how i am, but i will say this is the first buddie moment where im genuinely like... okay this might be something.

i mean there are a ton of moments between them that could easily be read as setting the stage for something romantic, but i also think they could be explained as platonic without it seeming too ridiculously far fetched.

i think trying to explain the sniper scene as platonic is difficult because like... they knew how people were going to interpret that and they still chose to shoot it in that exact way (no pun intended lmao). it didn't have to be only buck and eddie at the scene. chimney could have gone instead or as well. rather than buck and eddie crashing a 133 call they could have had the 118 take the call instead. having all of them see eddie get shot would have had maximum emotional impact if that's all the shooting scene was about. but buck was the only one there, so that means the scene was a significant moment between them. that's without even taking into account the slow mo and the prolonged eye contact and eddie reaching out for buck twice. the first time is before he falls, and i'd be willing to accept that was him trying to warn buck to get down, but after he falls? like yeah he could have just been reaching out as a general help me but if that's all it was i feel like it would have been shot differently.

idk man idk. i'm never going to fully, genuinely believe it unless it actually happens, but i am willing to admit all the choices they made makes it feel like a Significant Moment™.

i will say though if canon buddie is actually the plan i highly doubt anything is going to happen in the finale. like at most i could see eddie and ana breaking up, but i'm not even really betting on that. i think the writers would have to make it explicitly obvious that it was even a possibility before making it canon because you know a large number of viewers have never once given any thought to buddie considering they're both "straight" and would probably fully believe it came out of nowhere. if it's going to become canon i doubt it would be much before the middle to end of season 5.

but as always im gonna just keep enjoying my little corner of fandom and keep my expectations very low lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

augh i kept forgetting to post this because i kept wantgin to draw mroe for it but i really suck at emulating Animal Crossing Art Style so im just going to go on a rambling explanation about this under the cut but the basic concept is. they deserve a vacation. and whats more relaxing than animal crossing? probably several things but let me have this ok

id had a bunch of ideas for mroe drawings in this style but Clearly, i am not very good at it, and every time i sat down to Try Again it ended up shitty. this is from literally months ago by now lmao

my Basic Concept was just. take the 3 of them and dump them on an animal crossing island, cause while ive been sick ive been playing a lot of new horizons to try and stay stable, and my brain likes to mush together whatever 2-or-more things im invested in together all the time. here’s some bullet points!

-john really loves diving for sea critters and frequently pulls up those bigass lobsters and eels and shit, he’s got an unnatural knack for it. loves to startle the shit out of dave by just whipping an eel out of his pocket. no thats not an innuendo stop that-- -amy loves planting/watering the flowers but shes not like invested in getting All The Different Types (although that Would be neat) she’s just having fun building a large flower patch. it’s slowly overtaking the island. also dave likes to just kinda sit in the flower patch -speaking of dave he kind of doesnt do much, i think he’d like fishing with john and/or amy and maybe hed like digging up fossils but for the most part hes just chillin, as he deserves to be, -amy likes the DIY recipe stuff though and will frequently politely ask dave to go fetch stuff for her. this has led to most of the villagers/islanders/whateverthetermis, the animal citizens, to have their Main exposure to dave be him wandering around with an axe at 3am because amy’s out of hardwood -speaking of the animal citizens, because i just really like them as a concept, i have no solid concept of who-all would be on their island but whoever they are, john is “friends” with All of them (and by that i mean he says theyre all his friends; whether or not they find him obnoxious Varies,) and amy is genuine friends with most of them/has spoken to all of them at least, and dave rarely if ever speaks to them. hes not very social. most of the animals are a little scared of him until they Actually get to talk to him and then they realize hes just an awkward misanthropic bastard -also in case it wasnt clear id think the 3 of them would all be in one little cabin i mean you can upgrade the shit out of those so they could all feasibly have their own spaces. but also i like polyamory and id say they all 3 share a room because fight me they do itd be cute. also of course the decor of their cabin is absolutely bonkers like listen not only does animal crossing have some weird items but nearly any living space john inhabits most likely has some very strange decor in it !  -tbh actually i think john would do Most of the decor stuff cause like based on the way his house is described i think he’d go NUTS for animal crossing’s Theme Decor Shit i dont know i dont actually do a bunch of that but i sure do think he would! amy would help out esp since she likes the DIY stuff, and i think dave is just kind of ..... allowing this nonsense to happen. letting john be free. probably convincing him to not change the theme every day, maybe every week, if only because it’s a bit of a hassle to have everything Constantly Rearranged.  -hang on wait i just thought of the 3 of them wandering along the beach and picking up seashells and now im like emotional over it bro pls. lovely. -also i jsut realized if daves the guy who digs up fossils he definitely talks to blathers a lot and thats an extremely funny thing to contemplate. the dude who seems to not really liek talking to people and the chatterbox owl. fantastic. you know dave is probably too awkward to tell blathers he doesnt want to hear all thsoe archaeopteryx facts! (also tbh maybe dave would actually like learning stuff) -also. john catches bugs just to give them to blathers and watch him freak out just a little about it.  -john always ends up buying fake art from redd but it’s fine because he just puts it somewhere in or near their cabin. amy however has the uncanny good luck to somehow always find the real artworks! dave doesnt talk to redd, he doesnt really care. -this ones definitely projection because my animal crossing island is a mess (And I Like It That Way Thank U Very Much) but john definitely is the guy who will dump extra furniture at random spots on the island. too much shit in storage? don’t need that Harmonious Chair right now? holding it in ur pockets just because u dont know where else to put it? just dump it on the ground! uncannily, john fuckin Always remembers where he’s put that shit when he happens to need it again. however this does mean sometimes the animal citizens will just ... find a mysterious new chair in their front yard.  -i know that terraforming is a new thing in acnh but i havent done it yet because i dont care about the whole 3 stars rating thing like listen im jsut here to run around and fill the museum if i feel like it but mostly pick up pumpkins and hoard bells for no reason and let my island be taken over by wildflowers. if any of the 3 are into that tho its john or amy--john just for the hell of it, amy would actually like try to Make Stuff of it -their front yard (and back yard if their cabin is put somewhere to allow that) is full of unused furniture as well. and also sometimes random dropped fruits or something, if dave is already carrying a ton when he sees something to dig up. -i think im out of shit to say right now but i might reblog to add mroe so. yes. if youve read this far then holy shit youre dedicated or really bored or something but whatever your reason is i hope this was A Fun Read and if it gave you any ideas Please Tell Me my inbox is open im sick and still in quarantine and i crave human interaction from literally anyone who isnt my parents. thank u

Catch up from recent events

Hey guys, I’ve come back again (almost regrettably) since all the controversy, a lot of other stuff has begun happening in my life, and I mean a lot, even in these past few days. I’ve got some serious health problems as well as mental problems, a lot of family drama as well but I started missing posting my art and stuff on here. This is going to be a full recap of what I want to post in the future and so forth.

Regarding the Undertale Fanfiction: A life for a life for those interested, I have made other chapters to the story a while back but I lost touch with them because I wasn’t sure about the direction of the story in certain regards, for a brief summary; I was going insert a lot of magical dilemmas into the story, regarding Toriel and Asriel mostly but I just found it so far fetched and stupid. The same thing happened with the Asgoriel fanfiction I wrote, I made about twenty something chapters, but because I’m too passionate about the pairing, I got too overboard and ruined the story.

I’m aware of the FNAF stuff that’s been happening and I think Scott’s retirement was well on it’s way for a long time, which I’m happy for, not that I hate him, but I was very disappointed and heartbroken about the controversy. Even more disapointment in the fucking death threats given to him and supporters of the sort. I’m not a supporter or an anti. I’m just not going to care about that bullshit anymore and bid him a mutual farewell and continue with my life and my love for the franchise.

I’m blocking any negativity about anything I like, yes it’s childish, but my brain likes to grab negative tract and stick it inside my subconscious like a glue, what I mean by that is that my brain is wired to really only think negatively in the first place and I hate it. But that’s my problem, I’m just expressing my reason on why I block out negative opinions.

I’m not in the best mindset, but I’m not leaving Tumblr forever, I wasn’t even gone for a long time because I genuinely miss some of the great people on here. I also don’t get as much attention for my art from other sites and there’s no way in hell I’m going back to Deviantart, even though I do still have my shitty account up from when I was fifteen, it’s a garbage account lmao.

Anyway just to top everything off, I still enjoy my fav games and fandoms, I still want to post art and reblog other people’s amazing art, I’m just very unwell and probably won’t be as active as I was before (if I even was active in the first place)

then you realize this person was Bokuto Kotarou from your school’s vball team,,, how could you not have guessed from the hair alone silly you

Bokuto then patted you a little more after being told by Akaashi that he can’t be distracted by a cat at this moment since they’re about to go for practice

so they left you there

but you bein a cat that can slither everywhere they wish to be, thought it would be fun to stalk the vball team since its so early in the morning yk and you rly wanna know whats happening with your actual body

you don’t even know why your body was in school this early,,,

anyway so volleyball right

it donned onto you that you had a crush on Bokuto when you were a freshman,, you remember there was something gratifying about his personality that made you like him better than the rest of the boys in your school bc other men are trash but we dont talk about that

you found him sorta special 

however, despite finding him very special, a person like him was too far-fetched for you to become close with bc you two were polar opposites of each other,,, he was too excited and happy every time you see him while you are,,, well

a bit too down

but you werent always down

just that you had every reason to be down yk

im not helping but anyways-

so you were watching them practice,, you had no idea why you were watching since you werent rly into sports whatever and it usually bores you,, and sends your mind flying elsewhere

then you saw Bokuto leaping up from the back and slamming the ball straight past the other player’s blocks

fr that was impressive and the way he accurately hit the ball right next to the line was insane

okay, mayhaps you were slowly gathering feelings for him again and this time for his talents as well oho

so you took your time watching this lad in awe while resting on the gym’s window sill, only God knows how you got there, and just admired the players doin their thing

but yk with a lot of Bokuto you perv

ofc Bokuto sees the cat while they were on break and kinda squished his face on the window to get ur attention bc you were sorta falling asleep on there

he was yellin things like theres a cute kitty on the window aaaAAAAA and the other players just wanted him to stop so they kinda invited you inside

they busted a big uwu at how cute the cat was, scared of the new environment it has been forced into

mostly Bokuto

he was beYOND HAPPY to see a small animal within his vicinity and Akaashi was delighted to see him calm at least for once

Bokuto was really gentle at holding the little feline in his arms and his heart might have melted when it relaxed into his hold and rested its little head against his chest

the other players were hella jealous

but Bokuto gettin all the attention from a cat was better than anything else 

until we remember that the guys don’t always stay for practice and that they had classes to attend too, they are at school for a reason

henceforth Bokuto was sad to let the cat go bc the cat isn’t his it’s just a stray cat,, nobody knows where it came from

“i’ll come back for you later okay?”

while waiting for his promise of coming back, you spent the time to idle around the campus until lunch break came and you once again saw your original body that is now lived by a different host

the fake you turned to your direction and smirked?? what the heck was that for??

but you had Bokuto to comfort you anyway lmao you attention wh*re

then you figured it didn’t feel right to be hogging the lad’s attention like this when you aren’t actually a cat,,, at least not until midnight strikes,,,

you did have a choice whether or not you still wanted to remain as a cat for the rest of your life but that price is selling your soul to that cat

besides all that, i just wanna mention that Bokuto grew fond of the cat that keeps playing with him all day and he lit thought of bringing it with him home bc he was worried like what if it doesn’t have a home to go to and becomes all alone and starving and like get hit by a car 

he was genuinely concerned for your well-being and you felt eVEN BAD NOW and just wanna go over and tell him you’re not an actual cat you’re just a stalker of his that somehow had the chance to turn into a pussy

but he did bring you home

not even Akaashi could stop him when he secretly snuck you inside his bag when they were about to go home from practice

no lie you lit wanted to flee

time was running out and you were wasting it to clown Bokuto into thinking you truly were a cat but not unless you wished to remain a cat

do you deserve that doe?

you thought you did after Bokuto pampering you a lot, showing you to his mom, being cleaned and fed kinda clumsily but its the thought that counts for the night and even tucking you beside him on his bed like s*ft omg

you definitely wanted to leave but like if you left its gonna break his heart but once he finds out you’re an actual human person what the hell is that going to make you

obviously you were in a terrible rut

tears came rushing up to your eyes and you just wanted to strangle that creepy ass cat you met last night and bring back what he stole from you

the words he said was enough to have you break down, his kindness and his sincerity was too pure that you just wanted this to stop

especially when it came from someone special to you

you decided life wasn’t so bad if there’s someone you can lean on
