Stolas what the actual FUCK do you mean "when have I ever talked down to you?" Did I fucking hallucinate all the times you've referred to Blitzo as "my little imp" Was Blitzo supposed to suddenly realize that all your insistent sexual advances towards Blitzo that he was only accepting so he could keep his fucking job were suddenly romantic advances? Why is the show trying to treat Stolas like he's "the bigger person" when for 99% of his relationship with Blitzo he's been the one playing the role of instigator? Why does the show try to make Blitzo feel like complete shit when the entire original point of his character is that he feels like shit because he's treated like shit. You're telling me that NONE of the DOZENS of people know his history? Trauma isn't an excuse but do you REALLY THINK that all of these people would still behave in such petty and cruel manners towards Blitzo is they actually knew how he felt? Do you ACTUALLY THINK that these people would be 100% in support of Stolas as the "freshest ex" if they knew that Blitzo fucking Stolas was the only way he'd be able to keep his fucking livelyhood??

This show is doing all the right things for the wrong reasons. I don't think Blitzo is in the right at all, but I cannot STOMACH the way the show is treating him like he's the bad guy when he's been through so much shit and NOBODY FUCKING CARES. NOBODY CARES ABOUT HOW HIS MOTHER DIED IN A FIRE THAT EVERYONE BLAMES HIM FOR??? NOBODY CARES ABOUT HOW STOLAS'S BOOK WAS THE ONLY WAY BLITZO WAS ABLE TO MAKE A LIVING IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Absolute fucking insanity. This show sucks.

in the danger of sounding like an aegon pervert targaryen apologist, i wont say much about it except to call to attention the moment we see him in the council start he is not just mad he is scared not just cuz he’s a kid all that but his position is worse after jahaerys and it’s not just his desperation and fear but certain other moments stand out in this episode like plain men soldiers pausing war to compute the sheer insanity of what their eyes are seeing, the sickest spiciest dragon eyeing her rider and knowing just knowing, the darklyn son getting news of his father, vhagar stepping on a bug, a lord not leaving a battlefield because he wants to see this unheard unseen on the continent before dragon fight, sunfyre the ugly golden shit burning people because we gotta do it super blind and drunk apparently, acting out scared for life and position and drunk on the failure of your existence getting burnt to a crisp, a lonely weak spine sticking out of a bundle, black haired witch sucking frog guts from her fingers, a shower of boiling black blood raining on friends and foes burning flesh and leather and metal, an aemond daemon demon screaming meemie and an unreal absolutely shattering heartbreaking sight of a once vibrant red beast against yellow stone burning a breach into a birdhouse

DCAS episode 17 - review

spoilers!! (but you knew that.)

i could’ve been writing poolverine fic to spend my time in a more rewarding way than watching this show but oh well we’re here now (read my new poolverine fic here btw they make me sick)

of course it had to be grett. with basically zero build-up, they have yet again eliminated a strong, powerful female character to let a boring romantic relationship with so much miscommunication get screentime instead. they fucked ellie over for the sake of tomjake and now they did it to grett for the sake of conriya.

it makes me actually sick how much ONC does not care for their characters. they’re such fucking sell-outs. i get creating characters just to make them fuck or die but for god’s sake you’re writing a show with thousands of fans. at least pretend to give them something. throw us a bone ffs

if it’s not evident by now, i think this episode was horrendously average. i would tear it down for being out of character, but what pisses me off is that it’s not. connor reverting back to his old self is not ooc, that’s for sure.

i’ll give them this, it was refreshing to not see the children jake and ally fight every ten seconds. good to see them working together, i guess.

riya winning by riding spirit was stupid. the rules were laid out in a way that i thought she would have to cross the line with bojack. and then it’s just like. nah it’s any horse actually. who cares. go wild.

riya winning in general was stupid. they forced a forgive-and-betray arc on her in the last second because they didn’t want to let her go and fuck that drives me crazy.

as the last gen 1 standing, i think it’s safe to assume jake will be in the finale. alongside him will probably be connor, because they wouldn’t pull that entire ambulance thing if he wouldn’t make it to the end, and riya, because connor has to defeat the big bad. or something. idrk what he has to do actually because one minute he’s over riya and the next his tongue is down her throat. i’m sick /neg

i miss when this show was actually good and actually cared for its characters. come back to me S1 ellie. come back to me S2 ally. come back to me S2 connor with no screentime to be fucked over by. come back to me actually good DSVC episode. come back

i’m only giving it this high of a rating because it’s in-character for all the stupid shit to happen, and as much as i hate to admit it, that shot with riya seeing herself surrounded by cameras and forcing herself to pretend was great. too bad she wasn’t in a better show with better writing and better lines and better voice acting to actually make that scene work. 5/10

I NEED TO VENT. so. I watch the summer i turned pretty with my sister, it's a torture for me to watch every single episode. BUT. i'm not gonna talk about the show (today anyway) but the CAST and FANDOM. so in season 2 they added a non-binary character, Skye, played by Elsie Fisher (amazing actor btw). And ever since the show has been out, the actor have been bullied online by the fandom in a way i've never seen before. People are gonna say "oh, it's because their character are annoying, but not all the fandom is like this" NO. you want the truth ? They're being bullied because they're queer. And they're gonna say "but Jeremiah is bi and we love him!" but he's queer in a way that is meant to not bother the straight cis viewer, he doesn't TALK about his queerness, he just says he makes out with guys as well as girls, that's all we get from him. But when when a queer person DARE to show that they are in fact queer (see: Skye correcting people on their pronouns. And talking about bisexuality, Nick from Heartstopper that people are calling "cringe" for the iconic "i'm bi, actually"), then suddenly they're annoying and cringe and it's okay to be queerphobic,because that's what it is, homophobia and transphobia disguised as "simple online bullying" aka "it's not because they're queer it's because they're weird" but we all know it's not true (who said it was okay to bully someone because they're weird anyway ???). These people only tolerate queer characters if they don't say they're queer. Like i would have liked a scene were Jeremiah talk about bi/pan/liking multiple gender, like not making a big deal about it, but at least aknowledge it??? Like by the way it's not just a goofy traits about me, this is something that is gonna affect my everyday life??? Straight people have this idea that to end homophobia and transphobia WE have to blend in with THEM. They thing the LGBTQIA+ community is putting us AGAINST them, and that if we just act like our queerness is not a big deal then they'll accept us. Which is bullshit btw, they will always find something that they don't like. We will always be an inconvenience to straight people.

Talking about the fandom, most of it is made of 13yrs old so you'll think i'll hold my tong. no, because if you're old enought to bully someone on the internet for who they are, then you're old enought to be told to shut the fuck up. Y'all are just a bunch of mean girls (gender neutral) who got their perfect straight little show with conventionally attractive people and didn't like when a non-binary character that you don't think is attractive enought to deserve basic human respect go thrown into it. You're all a bunch of losers who are so disconnected from the real world that you can't even imagine that not everything is about YOU. Flash news: Queer people exist in real like too. as well as people you don't find attractive. Shocking right?

And about the cast, at first glance most of them looks like nice people, but i just know they also would bully the shit out of people who are different than them and disguise them as jokes. (I won't tell who i think is nice and who i think isn't for my own safety but....people who gets it, gets it.)

The show is garbage anyway, the cast seems like a group of bully from middle school and the fandom is made of the worst people ever. Thank you for listening to me 😁👍🏻.

The worst part about The Idol from what I’ve seen is the slight little glimpses of potential . Because not only is it a disgusting show that is clearly just fetish porn for the directors, you can SEE how it was supposed to be something different.

Like the scene where Lily-Rose Depp’s character is filming the music video and she starts to have a breakdown during the middle of her performance? THAT was ALMOST SOMETHING MEANINGFUL. But because the show has essentially cut down anything that doesn’t give Sam Levinson and The Weekend a fucking boner, its just another scene of the main character crying because the disgusting men that made the show get off too it.
