May I present, my attempt at illustrating the last four pages of Tevinter Nights. 😁 (Also, the first time I'm posting art on here!)

As the whole thing was quite literally too long to post on tumblr, I uploaded the full version on a customized site made for reading webcomics (via ComicFury). On a personal note though, I can't believe I actually finished it... As it had been a *very* long time since I drew (and finished) anything, let alone a 31 page comic and reading Tevinter Nights again finally sparked my motivation (and the courage to post it lol). So I want to thank Patrick Weekes for helping me overcome this massive art block and over two decades of Case Closed mangas for inspiring me how to draw an overly dramatic "exposing the imposter" moment. 😂 I tried my best to be as faithful to the book as possible and it took me forever, so... hope you like it! :D

condiments; wholesome tooth-rotting fluff, middle school!Izuku Midoriya/classmate! reader, Midoriya finally getting the love he deserves,

“I like you!”

Midoriya flushes and covered his face “P- please don’t tease me..” His voice was soft as he whispered out your surname.

“Buttttt…!” You drawled “I’m not lying Izuku, also call me by my first name!”

Midoriya couldn’t believe it, the girl he randomly met at the park during his second year of middle school had just confessed to him “I.. W- why are you.. I just.. uhm..” He was a stuttering mess, not used to people— especially girls, being kind to him to the point of confessing to him.

“Why do I like you? Because you’re the sweetest guy, plus you’re cute— Why did I confess now? You were reckless and tried to fight a villain just to save your long-time bully! Also when you become a hero I can say I liked you since the beginning and was your first fan! I was also scared that you might get yourself in deep trouble before I could tell you.”

“Please slow down— I still.. You’re amazing— Better than me at everything and I’m glad to have you with me! B- but I think you deserve someone more..”

“I don’t want a ‘someone’! I want you, Midoriya Izuku!” You then yanked the button closest to your heart off your blazer before shoving it into his hands.

“Take my heart or I’ll make sure to become a super villain who chases after your love!!” You declared.

He shrieked and fumbled with the button, gazing at it and you “Wahh!?— I..!” Midoriya stayed silent and thought about his feelings for a bit. Ever since he met you, he didn’t feel alone. You made the bullying less painful by being by his side— He recalls you fighting with Bakugo to protect his honor as well. You were, everything he would have wanted from a friend and a partner.

He took a deep breath “I like you a lot too..!” His eyes were genuine as he smiled softly “But I’m not as cool as any—“

His words were cut off by you wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him into a hug “Thank god— I was scared you were rejecting me!”

“I- I would never!! I.. just think I’m not cool enough for..” “For the love of god Izuku just stop worrying and let me love you!”

With that you pulled him into a kiss, he closed his eyes and melted into your lips.

If anybody asks why he wanted to become a hero, the official reason now is because he wants to protect the smiles on your face until the end of time.
