I dreamt of being in a small rural village and at some point the rumor of an abbandonate house full of random stuff but as well as coins is spread. I go and the place feels strangely familiar, i do roomage around, but instead of coins i find two sheets of stickers (i have been wanting stikers for a while) but then i start walking towards the actual house. Is yellow and small the type of house I'm familiar with by growing up in rural areas. I go in and is full of people rummaging through stuff. The house feels familiar and i feel they shouldn't be there. I get on a desk and i yell "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE?" and they look at me confused "Is this because of the Smarciassa (An ogress idk how i know that)? But she left so long ago?"

And i yel back "This is more than an ogress house."

"A witch house?"

"More powerful." i say and they all look very scared suddenly.

And then i don't know why but suddenly i scream a name. Or more like, I'm calling him there. As if i know for sure he will answer. "APOLLO!!!!"

AND SUDDENLY THE ROOM BUST WITH LIGHT

Immediately after I'm walking down the village again, away from the house, and everyone is there astonished or cheering and clapping, but not at me, someone behind me. And i see this very Australian guy in a bandana, shorts and a hoodie, dancing around (a bit goofy) basking in the cheering, he surpasses me. I don't know why but is as if i expect him to see me. That doesn't happen. He passes me and takes off his hoodie and bandana, under he has a red tank top and he joins some nymphs (women and male) to have fun with.

In that moment i feel like i have to go but i smile and say "Bye Apollo!" and i don't expect him to notice me, but he does and he stares at me shocked, like if i was the last person he ever experienced to meet there, his eye are so blue and his hair so blonde and he has the slightest blonde stubble. And then i see a group of children with clear mischievous intentions getting too close so i shoo them but the nymphs start playfully chasing them, and i feel like i need to move away, the story is supposed to be over and i shouldn't be there anymore. But i suddenly bump against a chest, and i feel arms wrapping around me and lips kiss the top of my head and i know he is crying before i can see his face and he says "Please come back." and i look up and Apollo is looking down at me crying . "Please be part of my world again."

And i woke up with this intense emotions in my chest, first happiness, then calm, then just as if i have met a very dear long lost friend after so long and i start crying, like not tearing up, i mean full on sobbing. It wasn't romantic, it was just a reunion.

I never worshipped Apollo, but i remember this exact man showing up in my dreams before when i was like, in high school, i don't remember what the dreams were about but i remember this guy would show up and just hang out in my dreams, i didn't know who he was or why he was there but he just showed up and hanged out.

Details in Stan's letter that still haunt me

(how long will I continue thinking about a two page letter that's technically not even that long because Stan's handwriting is fricking large? .....you don't need to worry about that.)

The bro code only shows up in the Lost Journal pages, and to me Stan's message feels like it purposely echoes Ford's "miss you" in the college photo (and for some reason the message doesn't appear in the website version of the photo?) ....or alternatively Stan simply noticed how distressed Ford was about this entire thing and wanted to support him in a way so he can be sappy but without the kids knowing, or both!

Stan's claim about the Oregon lottery contradicts what the Lost Legends website said about Tate McGucket's ability to predict the winning numbers!! ...but also breaking into the Lottery HQ is definitely a very Stan thing to do and it's not the first time small gags have been retconned

Despite spending most of his letter nonchalantly destroying him, the taunt about ripping a dollar bill in half is the only part where Stan is directly responding to Bill. Maybe it's the two of them having similar ways of thinking but it's rather specific considering Bill taunts the reader about it...

And after Bill spends an entire book calling Ford Sixer despite normally using a pretty wide range of nicknames for him, Stan then spends his letter mainly referring to Ford as Sixer, even though post-Weirdmageddon he tends to use a mix of nicknames. And it's not like he'd gotten to see Bill himself for long, let alone see him steal that childhood nickname (that is only used twice in the actual show btw!). Did Ford tell him what happened or...?

With all this and the website's "still on your mind" message, what I'm getting at is my tinfoil hat theory of Stan somehow seeing some of the pages the irl readers saw, even when it should be personalised to the specific reader, and he's been lying about it for some reason. Considering that the book flat out doesn't make an attempt at convincing Soos, I find it a stretch that whatever Bill was telling Stan via the book was an attempt to convince him either.

Wouldn't be the first time Stan's skimmed through a book and lied about what it meant to him.

(...Now I kinda wanna see a story about the family reading their versions of the book and making fun of it while Stan is improvising every single one of his pages and blatantly ignoring Bill's attempts to mock and taunt him)

But also I'm fascinated by the letters that only showed up on the website (aka the Soos+Wendy+McGucket+Pacifica ones). I'm assuming that Mabel had stuck them on after Stan's letter... but they were basically eaten by the book itself because seeing Stan's letter kick-started Bill's breakdown which takes up the rest of the book

Things I make for myself when insomnia kicks in

Just a chart about what I wanna change up and keep consistent in my art - I mainly wanna draw Raph with a tail because he deserves one, it fits too well. Donnie gets a long tail too because I didn’t realize how dino-like he looks until I gave him one, and now it’s a must for me haha.

Alastor: On top of that, the other overlords seem to be threatened by the fact you have so many souls and demons going to you WILLINGLY, you not showing up to meetings and beong little morningstars girlfriend doesnt help that either!So this will be a fun first meeting~

#doctor who #tenth doctor #martha jones #david tennant #freema agyeman #(good god. without even meaning to I went into 'psycho stream of consciousness tagging' mode. whoops)#always thinking of that one post #where OP mentions how the writing tries to make it seem like Ten looked right through Martha/etc #which is a good concept for demonstrating his grief. but also isnt what we really see throughout S3 #(not saying he wasn't a grieving MESS because he was. but he's a multi-faceted character and he can grieve AND value Martha simultaneously)#but we see such fierce protective instinct+trust; a bond between them that obviously isn't some one-sided affair #+ his clear intent to impress her/be admired and respected by her (apropos the post that inspired this sentiment)#but RTD obviously isn't the most infallible of writers #*cough* [list of reasons I cut down b/c long] *cough*#He can make Martha say “he's not seeing me/he doesn't look at me” but then you just watch with your eyes and you get a different story #It's like the opposite of when Moffat tries to make you believe someone is super important through bold claims without showing his work #instead RTD tries to make you believe Ten is functionally blind to Martha's existence while showing numerous examples of the contrary #then bring in the novels+myspace blog+cartoon that he all signed off on. Which tie together to create a canon backdrop #basically I said all of that to say this—#it's the whole reason I had to make this blog to get this sort of stuff off my chest (even if it's just for me sometimes)—#Ten not only SAW Martha—he trusted+respected+enjoyed+adored her. And it's a good thing #it doesn't cheapen his grief. I feel like people must think it does which is why I constantly see bad unnecessary takes about them #it just means that Martha was SO important to him and it's ok. they had a killer friendship outside the unrequited minutiae and it's ok #there's even a comic where 'someone' makes him believe she's Martha and he makes her change her appearance because “it's still too raw”#Just saying you don't say that sort of thing about someone whose existence you're all blasé about #Martha already gets fucked by the narrative in enough ways without people totally missing her significance in the Doctor's life #you don't have to ship them to appreciate them on a deeper level #anyway. fuck. if you actually read all of these then I'm so sorry #creating this blog has taught me that there are only like two people who feel the same way about tenmartha matters and it’s fine 😂#but if I didn’t give myself an outlet it would probably form a tumor SO there we are then

Something something perhaps the reason Curly lacks a truly undamaged ID where his face is visible is to represent how much damage Jimmy had already affected on him throughout their relationship and the way Curly obscured part of who he is and what he stood to unintentionally cater to this toxic influence in his life.

#I think there is something to say that most people draw post crash curly and may not have every drawn him pre crash #and I think it says something that we only really look at the characters substantially in relation to Jimmy and not their own merits #unless we are discussing how J I M M Y mischarcterizes them cause in this #since we don’t assign a face and identify to Curly’s actions outside of Jimmy until the end their is the question of how much we are viewing #them as separate entities rather than intertwined actions cause while the flipping #of who we play at shows them and parallels and in separable in terms of the story going down #they couldn’t be drastically more different in thinking and you only really realize that at the birthday scene where Curly felt the need to #take responsibility for something while Jimmy just felt the need to take #this is also more so me thinking about all the reason people think Curly and Jimmy could be friends but they are missing the point of Jimmy #and his dynamic there is nothing severely weird or sinister about Curly or his intentions it’s that he’s well meaning to a fault #he’s an average dude having a mid life crisis and Jimmy is a guy that takes advantage of good intentions like the idea #that curly has to be like Jimmy in some way personality humor morally is the exact sort of projection Jimmy wants #to happen and does like it’s the sad and real case that sometimes people just have friends like Jimmy that they can’t cut off for one reason #or another like it’s not highly philosophical people are friends with objective assholes but it’s less about them #and more about the person feeling some obligation to stay like I feel like crafting him into #being more morally grey is to just make it easier to be angrier or think someone with more of a backbone #could of done something but it’s not even that he was spineless he was just too distracted and sometimes that feel like cowardice like even #Swansea waited it’s just the sad truth of how people avoid people like Jimmy or setting them off #sometimes it just does more harm than good I just am so bored with all the takes #acting like there was a perfect man on that ship and that any one outside of Anya knew the exact type of guy Jimmy #was from the get go like the point is other men wouldn’t in rape culture but women and their victims already know #mouthwashing #mouthwashing game #curly mouthwashing #jimmy mouthwashing #throwing rocks at Jimmy

#genzen #zengen #demon slayer #genya shinazugawa #zenitsu agatsuma #kimetsu no yaiba #genya x zenitsu #tanjirou kamado #tanjiro kamado #I’ve been feeling a very special type of sad lately so I wanted to kinda project that a little bit on my silly guys #I don’t often think about them in universe it’s always usually just modern au #I like to think that they were on good terms during hashira training #genya apologized for hitting him after they met up again from sanemis training #they spoke a little bit to each other at that point but after that it was mostly just #existing together during group hang outs #the whole group was preexisting already #genya just kinda would stand back and silently watch them have fun and banter #he never really felt like he belonged together with all of them #zenitsu also struggles with feeling like he doesn’t deserve to be apart of the group as well and will sometimes sit back with genya #they laugh together at inosuke and sit in a silence of mutual understanding #he doesn’t really show it but zenitsu is genuinely very torn up about hearing genya death #he missed his chance to be friends with the one guy he had the most in common with #he never got to see the soft side tanjirou would tell him about #if only they could’ve met before everything turned bad #if only they could’ve met in a world without demons #maybe they wouldn’t have turned out so bad if they had each other #maybe he would still be here if he had someone #zenitsu will forever beat himself up that someone as bad as him died when he himself lived #he didn’t deserve his second chance at life just as much as genya didn’t
