Of course Harry was targeted by people. But he was targeted because he had a massive ego and no loyalty to the rest of the band. That’s literally the reason they pushed Harry to front. They couldn’t have pried Liam away from Louis from 2012 to 2015. And in 2012 it would have been easier to make Liam a star. He had talent, no nerves to speak of and unlike Harry he wasn’t getting wasted every night. Or making outrageous headlines by blowing through a string of relationships with women.

nope. unfortunately, harry was always going to be the face of the band marketing wise. none of the others fit what the record execs were wanting long-term from the band and later. liam was never going to be what they were looking for. not to be harsh, but that was the reality. harry gravitated more fans than liam did- even before real branding intervention. it's just how the cookie crumbled.

you also do realize you’re speaking about a 17-21 year old boy when you say these things right instead of the 30 year old he is now. you do understand how absolutely ridiculous it sounds to be hellbent on making him such a villian during the band when, if you were there, those opinions were so far from the reality. “he was targeted because he had a massive ego” yeah let’s put the blame on a 17 and 18 year old teenager instead of those older and more influential than him. be so serious lmfao.

and unfortunately, news flash, they all had a fucking ego at some point. an ego isn’t just held for one of them, friend, and also it isnt an excuse for what they went through from those who knew better.

(also i don’t know what argument you’re trying to make here like you couldn’t say the same about zayn and louis getting loaded every night and partying/sleeping with women with this same logic but that’s just me!)

i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.
