Of course post-canon odysseus and penelope love each other (they are a little bit insane about the other. Neither is allowed to leave the others side for months after odysseus gets back. They cycle between sobbing on one and another and aggressively making out. ) but it's true that they have both changed. It's been twenty hard years after all. So

Odypen courting each other again just for the fun of it. Odypen deciding to act like teenagers again and make elaborate plans pretending to sneak into the others room.

Odysseus sending penelopes 90 year old dad a letter challenging him to a race for penelopes hand in marriage. (This does not go over well but penelope though it was hilarious)

Odysseus begging Athena to help him win penelopes heart/hand again. (Athena: What no why you're already married I don't understand you ) (she helps anyways)

Penelope weaving all of odysseus's clothes. Penelope hauling out every tapestry she made of telemachus's childhood (she made one for every year. To gift odysseus on his birthday when he returned.)

Odypen leaving telemachus incharge while they go off on dates (to harssass, cause problems, and badger other people into giving them things). It should be fine Athena has been sticking close to the house lately. And it's only for an afternoon anyways (at first. Headcanon that penelope came with odysseus when he had to go plant the oar and call it a windmill quest.)

I can't do much productively during the heat wave/health issue flare up/etc. like work on my games or anything where I have to sit at the computer/type for long periods of time, BUT.. I did passively sculpt a few tiny foods lol. I wanted to do one of my bigger usual sculptures, but those take so much more time and concentration, I thought something small just to keep my hands busy would be better.. close up photos look kind of weird and blurry from my camera settings or something, but overall they came out okay, especially in person.. Nearly the only reason I ever wanted to buy dolls as a kid was to get my hands on the miniature foods and plates and stuff that came with them, I've always just been obsessed with small versions of things like that, so.. why not make some! lol

re: this video… anon 😭 i had suspicions but it is so much worse to have them confirmed that really was like. trevor’s first Public Appearance without jamie AND post-broken ankle which is traumatic in and of itself no wonder every beat reporter was like ‘oh yeah trevor’s just devastated’

thinking about sharrah's complex relationship with humanity by the end of origins ngl.

daughter of clan sabrae, which was subject to humans stepping in and raiding and destroying dalish lives and property.

life saved by duncan, who is human, but grey warden first, and even her Keeper offered a reverence of sorts. paired off with Alistair as a combat partner and fellow new recruit, and also painfully human, but more strikingly prone to putting his foot in his mouth and apologizing for what might seem like the smallest overstep in comparison to human hostility towards the dalish.

oh so frustratingly nursing a crush on said new recruit to the point where her answers to his advances are as blunt as possible. ( if she doesn't scare him off by calling his bluff, or if it's not a bluff at all— ) which escalates into wanting so fucking badly to climb him even though he's a gods-damned shem, but he's handsome and utterly sweet when you catch him out from under the facade

and it's just them and this ragtag party against the world, and it's Leliana and Morrigan and Alistair all sanding the edges off the wariness towards humankind ( because they're just people at the end of the day and they are not trying to kill her or hers ).

but it can't also be all of humanity that's like this, right? because she's seen too many humans kill and steal and hurt her people. or maybe it is, and the dalish have only seen the worst of it

and then it's Denerim. it's Denerim, and what few elves they even see in the city are barely second class citizens despite their closeness to humanity. despite almost being flat-eared themselves.

it's Denerim, and the nobles are turning a blind eye to the alienage, it's Denerim, and a deal has been struck for tevinter slavers to operate with impunity to steal people who could have been her kin. more fucking humans doing nothing but hurting.

the tevinters see no mercy. not in their lives, not in their suffering. they don't die as cleanly as they could have ( as she was taught to end the life of an animal ).

it's Denerim, and Anora seems to betray you twice. time and again. so maybe it's just the fucking nobility, except you still see people averting their eyes from the suffering.

( so, too, why you don't deny Alistair his own wish. to remain out of the nobility. away from that kind of power/destruction )

it's Denerim and Redcliffe and people see you the way they saw Duncan. warden first. you are a Warden before you are a dalish elf.

(to preface this is absolutely ZERO HATE to the cast i am not speaking about cast members at all when i say this)

i love the outsiders so much and the whole cast crew and team is amazing but like. they have been acting so unusually unprofessional lately?? i know josh boone had a very particular situation and so they had to announce his departure only two days in advance. it sucked but it was one of those 'what can you do' type of situations. but then with alex's debut not being formally announced?? there's nothing wrong with alex needed to push back his debut, but there IS something wrong with the date change never being announced properly. and that wasn't the first time that many fans have been confused about something related to the show due to a lack of communication.

and now everything's getting all weird and messy because principal actors aren't announcing whether or not they're staying and no one wants a repeat of josh's departure announcement, but of course that whole thing is difficult because actors have a right to privacy and control over when they announce their leaving. that still doesn't mean that fans aren't getting antsy as we come down to literally just a few weeks, really only a couple of days, before contracts are supposed to end. again, this is nothing against the cast, i think they should be able to announce whether they're leaving or staying on their own. but everything's been piling up these past few weeks due to a lack of communication from the people in charge of the show.

also, i definitely can't say anyone's happy that the show gets extended for a few more months, only for tickets prices to rise AGAIN. the tickets are becoming ridiculously expensive, and of course this rise in price happens right around when the musical stops properly communicating important news to fans

the vibes just feel very off right now and im hoping that things start looking up
