The submas brainworm is only getting stronger, so I have drafted a whole-ass comic for a new AU idea! One where Chandelure gets to take center stage and become the main character she was always meant to be~

The gist of the AU is that Chandelure has a ghostly soul-bond with Ingo, which essentially means that his soul is under her protection and he sorta registers as a ghost to other pokemon. Basically protects him from other ghosts trying to put their sticky paws on her trainer and also gives the two of them a bit of an empathetic connection. Not quite telepathy, but able to transmit complex feelings and lets them check how badly they're hurt.

Naturally, this means that when Giratina (who was honestly just trying to play around. They were given the tedious task of just opening rifts and looking through all those peep holes made them curious. So when they saw a soul that had a beautiful ghost bond, they became fascinated) snags Ingo and drags him through, Chandelure immediately feels when Giratina's power accidentally tries to overwhelm Ingo's soul and she absolutely loses her shit. Through psychically screaming and using her protective aura to try and bash Giratina, the distortion god acts like a dog that's done something they shouldn't and tries to hide the evidence of their messing around (Ingo getting fucked up via soul and getting not too gently dropped off a mountain).

I have more ideas, especially relating to how Emmet is taking his brother's ace losing her mind and how her actions affect the investigation, but if I keep going down these tracks I'm going to end up with another 90k WIP fic like i did with Naruto. (Though if people wanna see the AU written out...👀... I could absolutely be convinced. I'm very weak...)

Di feisheng finally met a worthy opponent to contest his strong will, in a form of tiny kitten. Its a small thing. Dirty and ugly, but still fiesty. Fighting several cats twice its size for a small scrap of food. Truly, a warrior.

He should have walk ahead instead of watching the fight. Fang Duobing will be inconsolable if their groceries came late. But the kitten catch his eyes. Something in him recognised that desperate survival, to fight like he has nothing to lose, like there is no tomorrow. And maybe, there is indeed no tomorrow for that thing, its already very skinny. Obviously not the best fighter around, but still standing and trying. Stubborn to the tip of its fur.

The brawl didn't last long after that. Despite the numerous scratch, its suprisingly success in snatching a tiny part of the food. Dashed so fast to a far corner before other cats can catch it. Di feisheng must be wake up in a wrong position that day, because why should he care about that tiny kitten is beyond his understanding. But his feet already walk around that corner, trying to find the little thing before he can process anything.

It's only after several pat, a more edible food, and two big doe eyes that looks so sad, Di Feisheng finally came into the horrifying realization that he maybe really care about that ugly and dirty little kitten. Between that pleading eyes and the voice in his head that sound suspiciously like Li Lianhua saying they already have hulijing at home, His eyebrow twitch faintly. There is a moment when both didn't move or make a sound. And then the tiny kitten came closer, rubbing around his leg while keeping up the increasingly good performance of big sad eyes. Di Feisheng let out a mighty sigh. He's truly gone soft!

"Sly aren't you?" He pat the dirty fur once again.

Di Feisheng come back late that day, smuggling a tiny kitten between the fold of his robes into the lotus tower. So what if they already have hulijing, its a dog afterall. They can add a cat now.

I normally dislike crossovers between franchises. No hate if that's your thing, it's just not for me. However. The idea of a TMBS x ASOUE crossover intrigues me, not because I'm interested in seeing the orphan genius kids interact (although that would be cool), but because the fact that both Show Curtain/Nathaniel Benedict AND Count Olaf are both canonically insufferable theater kids who keep getting beaten by groups of children has such ridiculously high comedic potential it would be a crime not to consider it.

Not because I think they would team up. Oh no. They both need to be the center of attention at all times. I also feel like Nathaniel was the type of theater kid who bossed the other students around, treated every high school performance like there were talent scouts coming specifically to see him (and insisted that all inferior actors that made him look bad needed to be cut from the cast), and was also on math team/in science club (and bragged about his academic accomplishments constantly), whereas Olaf was the type of theater kid who was late to every rehearsal, didn't even try memorizing his lines until the night before the performance, and was constantly in danger of being expelled and kicked out of the production because he refused to do his school work. They would HATE each other (and frankly, so would everyone else in the drama club because they both throw tantrums whenever they aren't cast as the lead, as they both insist they are the most talented student in the school).
